Non allocation of lower birth to age passenger

My friend, Mrinal Sen was travelling with his mother, Smt. N. R. Sen, 76 years old, on 8616 Hatia-Howrah express on 18.12.2009 by AC First Class. At the time of booking, the status was shown as confirmed (PNR: [protected]). However, on arriving at the station, it was found that both the berths were alloted as upper berths.

More compartments for 1st class

Dear Sir,
Western Railway is doing a good job by starting 15 coach train, but the frequency is too less. Also i have one suggestion that Western Railway can increase the number of compartments for the 1st class so more people can travel through & it helps to increase in people, more people more will be the profit for the railway(its other part).
We are spending so much money to travel from 1st class for peaceful traveling...

Trains Blocking roadways for hours due to new platform being installed.

I am a resident of Gavara kancharapalem, Visakhapatnam. Due to two new platforms being installed in the Vizag central railway station, the trains which approach at busy hours to the station are held up at 2-3 kms away from the Central Station for clearance of available platforms. I have not received the refund in case of train cancellation even after 18 month of continuous follow ups. Trail mail of follow ups is self explanatory. Each time I am getting the same respnse that they have given reminder and credit will be given after confirmation.

I booked parcel for sending my motorcycle from Palakkad to Tirupati,i came to learn from the parcel office of palakkad station that my motor cycle was send in sabari express, but the motorcycle was not handed over to tirupati station and i got information from Tirupati station authorities that it has gone directly to Hyderabad station. not granting sleeper ticket during day

i am a engineering student..i was denied a sleeper ticket at SALEM JUNCTION..during day
the train(WEST COAST EXPRESS)usually has jam packed general compartments..
while the sleeper compartments usually go empty..yet tickets aren't issued..
the TT's are also very hostile...plaese restore giving day time sleeper tickets..
its really affecting the students and other working class people..

dirty train compartments

I had booked 2 tickets on jammu bound train pooja express train number 2413 on three. Tire AC. After boardibg the train from jammu I was suprised that the compartment inside was very dirty and unclean! There were cockroaches and rats and lizards roaming on the compartment floor!
When contacted the attendent he without any concern relied that we need to adjust with what we have been given!
If we have to put up with cockroaches...

Extension of Train 7651 Kacheguda Exp to Tambaram

Hi,
Train No 7651-Kacheguda Exp from Chennai Egmore to Kacheguda(hyderabad).
Request to extend the train starting point from Tambaram (chennai) instead of Egmore.
Lot of IT and other people are staying around Sipcot/Medavakkam areas and we need to travel all the way almost 35 Kms to take the train from Egmore or Chennai Central.
