Sir,
I like to inform you that more than 2 Lacs passenger used narela(NUR) station in delhi, but there is even no reservation counter at narela station. People has only option to go in the hands of the trveling agents who charge more than the fare. Peoples also travel in the train like ....... So, it is kindly request to make Proper availability of trains i.e. more train should stop at the narela station and an reservation counter also being set up at narela station. Sir due to narela and bawana industrial area more and more poor People used this station. This is the single station in near more than 20 villages. There is more passenger than Sonipat station but we don`t have even reservation facility.

    I was travelling in Coach A2, Berth no. 10, Train No. 8189 on Dec 30 2009 with PNR No[protected] form Bolangir to Visakhapatnam. I found my suitcase missing when the train reached Rayagada station around 5 am. It contained sarees and dresses including gold ornaments worth one lakh.

    This was immediately reported to the coach TTE G V Rao.

    The only person who left the coach between Bolangir and Rayagada was a passenger in Berth 09, Mr. K C Das Railway Pass Holder No. 956586 travelling from sambalpur to Ambodla.

    The person got down at Ambodla at around 4 am was suspected in behavior as he was not asleep at night and roaming around the coach many a times.

    There was alapse of duty by AC Coach Attender Mr. A K Mishra who was not there in his assigned coach A2 but was found sleeping in adjacent coachB2 with his friends in the night.

    This incident not only happened with me but 5 other passengers travelling in the same compartment.

    So I request you to take up the complaint against Railway Pass Holder Mr. K C Das and Coach AttendervA K Mishra.

    Please inform me with any information received from your side.

      Dear Mr. Vengaprasad,

      This is to bring to your kind attention the trouble we had to undergo during our trip from Chennai to Mangalore on the 03rd of January 2010.

      I along with my wife and two children were booked First Class on the West Coast Express, Train No: 6627, from Chennai to Mangalore on 03/10/2010 under reference number:[protected] and Ticket Number 45993834. We were allotted Cabin "G", but were shocked to find that another family - husband, wife and two children - were also officially allotted the same cabin. It was our belief and understanding that only four passengers would be allotted to a cabin and even the seating numbers, 19, 20, 21 and 22, as well as the cabin reference of 4 persons reflected the same.

      Having paid the First Class fare for such facilities, it is a breach of trust and deficiency of service to "officially" accommodate more passengers so that the Southern Railways can make "illegal" profits at the cost of the paying passengers as also inflict untold misery and hardship on passengers who have paid the fare in "full" for the cabin facilities of first class. It is such a shame that the Railways treat the first class passengers as unreserved compartment travellers!!!. What is the difference between the sleeper/unreserved compartment with First Class??

      As practising muslims, with my wife and daughter using the burkha, we wanted to travel in peace, comfort and PRIVACY over such a long journey and that is why we booked a cabin in First Class. It was so distressing that they had to travel in the heat in utmost discomfort and distress.

      By this complaint I would like to seek your explanation on this sorry state of affairs:-

      1) Why are the First Class passengers charged the full fare and treated as unreserved passengers???
      2) How come more passengers are allotted in a cabin of 4 (four)?
      3) On what basis were other passengers officially allotted in excess of the capacity???
      4) What are then the facilities provided to the First Class passengers
      5) What is the difference between the "unreserved" compartment and the first class when passengers are bundled in more than capacity.

      It is also such a shame that the entire passage was blocked by "footboard" passengers as well as the aisle leading to the toilets totally blocked. Everyone were getting in and getting off at their will and pleasure with no railway official in sight to regulate the passengers. What is the first class service that is provided???

      By virtue of this complaint I request you to refund the difference of fare between the First Class and the unreserved compartment as well as a compensation of Rs 1,00,000.00 (Rupees one lakh only) for the physical and mental stress, agony, distress and trauma suffered by me and my family due to this breach of trust and deficiency of service by your organization and inflicting untold hardship and suffering.

        Hello,

        Today[protected] I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket of a shamsher singh on himachal express from una to delhi Unfortunately after the payment of 5times was made through sbi cum debit card payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

        This is really embarrasing situation and IRCTC is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. If not refund the same amount.

        Expecting a reply as soon as possible.

          I was travelling by Himsagar Express 6317 along with my family on 01.01.10 by AC three tier coach no. B1. I boarded at Trivendrum and travelled to Nagpur. From Trivendrum to Nagpur the toilet were not clened. I reminded the Coach assistant regarding this at around 11.30 AM on 02.01.10 and he told me that the same will be taken care of after some time at Vijawada Station. Even at vijawada station the cleaning not done. Around 7.30PM I asked the TTE to give me complaint book which he refused to give me saying that he will take care of the same at Ballarsha Station and since the facility of claining was only available at Platform no. 1 and 6 of Vijawada station and the Train halted on the other platform the cleaning could not be done. He was speaking as if he was advocate of Cleaning contractor.

          Quality of Tea supplied by pantry is horrible at there were lot of Cocroches moving around in the coach. The same situation I faced whcn I travelled from Nagpur to Coimbtore by train no 2521 Raptisagar Express on 23.12.09. The certificate of paste control pasted on the coach wall was saying different story and the situation coach was different. I have attched a photo of the same here. There were lot of cochroches moving around. The quality of paste control( If at al done) can be judged by any one.

          Indian Railways — CLEANING

          I Bored the Punjab mail (train no. 2138) 3AC COACH NO. B2 ON 13/04/2009 AT BHOPAL I found that the coach was UN cleaned lot off plastic bottles/broken papers /used tea cups /empty snacks packets and plastic bags were laying on the birth.
          I requested coach attended to arrange the cleaning staff since train stopped there for 15 mts.that day, but he replied it is not his job.

          I contacted TTE of the train he said he will arrange staff for cleaning at ITARSI where the stoppage is long.

          At itarsi i understand his duty is over and new TTE will do the needful, I again requested new TTE he assured me staff will come automatically but no out come no one came I requested TTE for the Complaint book so as to register my complaint he refused and said the same is with Guard.
          Any way no results from Railway staff, finally self and co-passengers removed the all garbage so as to keep premises clean and hygienic.

          Hope Railway’s big -bosses will look into this area also of our Indian railways.

            I want to complain regarding sitting arrangment in BSB GaribRath Train No- 2213/2214 in which I was travelling on 1st of Jan 2010 from Delhi to Varanasi.
            I selected Lower Berth as Seat preference while booking the ticket from IRCTC web site. After the transaction was over on the site regarding payment, I thought to check the Coach and Berth number for confirmation and I found that the berth which was alloted to me was 59 in G10 coach (PNR No:[protected].When I went to board the train on schedule date and time on Delhi station, I was surprised to see that the Berth (59) which was alloted to me was Side middle Berth.Till date I was only aware about Side Lower and Side Upper Berth but never thought of Side Middle Berth.
            As per my knowledge, supreme court has already passed an order to remove this Side Middle Berth from all the Train.Now I want to ask Railway why Supreme Court order has been overlooked in this case ?
            We are paying the entire amount to Railway for booking the Seats/ Berths but why Railway is providing such useless facilities to their passengers. The Side Middle Berth is inconvenient for all the 3 persons who has been alloted the Side Upper/Middle/Lower Berth as 3 of them cant sleep properly as the gap between the Berths are very less mainly for Senior Citizen person, Ladies, Healthy person.A person can lost his/her life due to breathing problem.
            So, I want to ask is Railway is bigger then Our Supreme Court?

            Even after supreme court order against side middle berth some trains have this inconvenient seats which is an harassment to the passengers. Its highly unethical to have these berths and trouble the passengers. In the worst scenario a passenger can be asked if he/she wants a middle berth before allotment of seats while booking through internet. Only after the seats are booked does the passengers know that they have been cheated by the GREAT INDIAN RAILWAYS. You loose money for cancellation. Last year the railways made a huge amount by Ticket cancellations, still they run in loss, true to the traditions of the congress they too fleece the ordinary middle income group. The Side Middle Berth is an inhumane way of accommodating passengers. Will the railways go by the supreme court order and ban this or else all trains be introduced with this SMB and allot it to only politicians so that they to get a taste of it.

              A e- ticket of (booking code FMN031ODCUK) return journey from Lucknow to Howrah on 09/06/2009 by 3006/ASR HWH MAIL had been booked cancelled through my authorised travell agents BENGAL TRAVEL SERVICES from Kolkata due to delay of more than 11 hrs. of its schedule time. The PNR No: [protected] (transaction ID:[protected]) but more than six months have gone, its refund amount still not credited to my travel agent and naturally I can't collect my money . I have repeatatively argue with my travel agent but how they can refund me without realizing from your end ??????
              My hmble request is to please look after about refund of my aforesaid ticket amount ( which is Rs.507/-) and do the needful as your earliest convenience.

              e-ticket of Indian Railway — NON-REFUND OF AMOUNT DUE AFTER TICKET CANCELLATION

              I cancelled one of my Railway e-ticket on 10 May 09 but no refund is given in the Bank account which I used for booking the on-line ticket. The amount is Rs.10, 000 plus. As per instruction for e-ticket cancellation the refund will be credited in the account which has been used for booking the ticket.

                I have travelled twice by Malda Town - Sealdah Gour Express. When the train is near Sealdah in the morning, a number of eunuchs board the sleeper coaches and demand money from passengers. If the passengers do not comply, they tease, pester and manhandle passengers. All the authorities need to do is look for these eunuchs in stations and book them for begging and travelling without tiket.

                  I am from bharatpur,rajasthan (nearby mathura) i want to why the mostly trains not stop in bharatpur the bharatpur is same as mathura (infratech,population,area) but mostly all trains have a stopage but they have no stopage in bharatpur i want to know that why the trains are have not stopage i have many resons for the stopage of train in bharatpur the m.p and m.l.a are promise for it but they not do it. So, i request you to have a stopage of trains in bharatpur i have some train names but not all :jammu tawi,kerla express,agust kranti,rajdhani express and all train from amdhabad to delhi (via mathura).

                      It will be very useful if railway gives stop at krishnarajapuram railway station for train number 6315 kochuveli express from (bangalore to trivandrum).As if now this train starts from Majestic and next stop only at bangarapet.We just need only atleast one min stopping there, it will be very useful for the people who working here near by.Please consider this as my request.

                      Hi I am also working in outter ring road and also staying nearby. So it will be very useful for lot of people to get into the train from K R Puram. Any the train stops lot of other stations after K R puram before reaching kerala. It will be a real help for us. please dont consider any other station for it like whitefield or byappanahalli.

                      Please do the needful.
                      I appreciate the initiative and i will help a lot of guys, who works in outer ring road and nearby to catch the train from KR puram. I used to travel in this train to Kochuveli once or twice in a month. As i know, it stops in between a lot of place, which is not stations to give way to other trains. In a trip it is more than an hour. If they stop the train at KR puram for 10 mins, there is no harm in that, that can actually reduce the time stoppig at these not station places. Please do it, as it helps a lot of guys while going as well as coming back.

                        In most of the trains, I found the side upper berth is still not positioned correctly in its original position even after the removal of side middle berths.

                        These Side Upper Berths are at too heights near the roof of the train and the people cannot even sit comfortably as before. Side Upper Berths were moved up to some height to place the side middle berths. After various oppositions side middle berths were now removed successfully. Thanks to the railway!!


                        But again why are the side upper berths are not positioned at its previous position even after the removal of side middle berths.. Me and various passengers found very difficult in traveling in such type of berths..

                        I just want the respective authority to take corrective action as soon as possible to make the passengers feel comfortable while travelling since money is collected in the same way as for all other berths.

                          All the passenger trains are stayed for a long time at MEERUT CITY railway Station because Station Master take bribe from Goods Brokers who carry goods from Delhi without paying tax and due to delay in unloading the goods from all passenger trains, he keep the trains stayed at Meerut City Station. More over, all the trains take stop before Malyana Crossing for 10 minutes becuase goods broker unload their goods at this point by giving bribe to drivers of trains. Station Master & Drivers are exploiting the passengers unnecessarily.

                            I had send several emails and spoken to the authorities for reset of my password.
                            Every time they say pl email through our auto- generated email and you will get adocket number then contact us. No such docket number is displayed on the screen and till date my password is not resetted

                            INDIAN RAILWAYS CATERING & TOURISM CORPORATION LTD. — Login Id & Password Locked

                            Dear Sir,

                            On 20th October, I booked 4 Train Tickets ONLINE on my personal name (Name and Address) mentioned below. Since I had shifted to new accommodation, my addressed needed to be changed in my Online Profile in the IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd.). After I changed my profile, (address) the IRCTC blocked my Login Id, because after changing your profile they normally send you new password. Since, my tickets had to be printed, I started requesting the IRCTC through e/mails but till date they have not send me my Login ID and Password to operate my account.

                            I have written them at least 7 e/mails and they have asked me number of times to send my:
                            1: Name: 2: E/mail id, 3: Address: 4: Telephone Number etc. and which I have sent at least 4 times and they have not yet sent me any Login Id or Password. My journey starts on 9th October to 13th October. Thus, it is so important that I need to have my ACCOUNT BE OPERATIVE, BECAUSE, IN CASE IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY TICKET, WHAT METHOD I SHOULD USE TO REGISTER MY PARTICULARS. Please help me to get my Login Id and password from IRCTC. Thank you vary much.

                              Pallavan Express running between chennai to tiruchirappalli is mostly running without much passengers. The second sitting is mostly free on normal days.
                              But there is only one train Rockfort Express running to Thanjavur, Kumbakonam. Why can't this Pallavan day train be diverted to Thanjavur directly OR Thanjavur as well via trichy.

                                Dear Sir,

                                This is to inform that being a citizen of india i would like to convey that now a days many of the passangers are facing lots of problem while travelling in trains , i am a regular passanger of indian railways but day by day the services of indian railways are going worse.

                                Yesterday when i was returning from Jabalpur to Bhopal via Jbl Bhopal express there was no one to provide the blankets, bedsheets,pillows etc. when i had asked from the attendant to provide the stuff then he was stunned and i don't know what's the matter going on ,used blankets bedsheets,pillows were provided to the pasengers this is shame for the indian railways , he was not aware about the services which is to be provided to the passangers before getting the seats , then everyone was doing self service to take the stuff and i had made a complain against the attandent to the TT incharge but he was also giving me the casual response , i asked for the complaint register which he was not in a position he straight away refuse to provide the register. This is the matter for the first time i had wrote this mail regarding the worse services given to the passengers , the same case is with the pride of india i.e Shatabdi Express according to me it is the worse train of india can you imagine the services provided is the shame for our country, the food which is provided in the train is too much worse i think we should take food from our home itself , i don't why people give so much money and if they giving then they should complain against the mishappening with the passengers.

                                Today on 14th. jan 2009 i am travelling in jhelum express i faced the worst experiance of my life in indian railway. the train was delayed for 2.30 hrs fine it must have a valid reason for that. there were no attendant to provide the shhets and blanket, though i received the sheets and blanket after 1.30 hours of my boarding. i asked for the towel but not provided.
                                Now the morning time, have taken the breakfast from irctc pantry boy. i was reading newspaper and he asked for ketchup i said ok give me. he asked for money i told him come late as i'll finish it of. he insisted to pay him right now, i paid him then and there. in the meal i got 2 fresh peices of bread without butter, the orange ketchup and the cutlet was of rotten potatoes. i was hungry i had the breads only. i asked another pantry boy about the matter he asked who was the boy... how can i say who he was just told him he was among one of you go bring him.
                                No results.
                                Please make authority to check all these stupid phenomenon.

                                Indian Railway — POOR MANAGEMENT

                                1. GARIB RATH TRAIN NO 12354 AND 12353 DON'T HAVE ANY CLEANLINESS IN THE COACHES AND TOILETS. SO IT BECOMES VERY PAINFULL TO SUFFER FOR ALL THE PASSENGERS DAILY .
                                2. Mr LALU HAD MADE THE CHAIR CAR OF GARIB RATH VERY CONJUSTED. NOW Miss MAMTA DIDI SHOULD GET IT RECTIFIED FOR THE SAKE OF THE LACS OF PASSENGERS.

                                  Myself Tanweer Zaki Imam booked my vehicle (Discover 125 cc, DL3SW-8706) on[protected]consignment no : [protected]) while travelled my brother (Arif Imam) from New Delhi to Bokaro Steel City luggage ticket No. 935575 & PNR No : [protected] (2802 Purushottam Exp).I have been confirmed by the parcel department that due to heavy rush of luggages, my bike send by Nilanchal Express on[protected]bogy no 04713). But till date I have not received my Luggage parcel at Bokaro.I am very much worried & tensed. I will be ever grateful for kind help of tracing my vehicle.

                                    Chart not prepared even before an hour of train departure – so experience hell lot of problems

                                    I encountered almost same problem.
                                    I booked e-tickets (3 berths, for me & parents) in 7032/ Mumbai Express, date of journey 26 Dec 09. PNR –[protected], from Hyderabad to Solapur. Train scheduled departure was 20:40.

                                    That day I was checking status through all means till 7:45 PM but my status was WL/17, WL/18, WL/19. Now its only 1 hour for departure so I cancelled my journey by that train.
                                    Next day I expected that those tickets where already cancelled & I will get my amount refund (because by rule wait listed e-tickets automatically get cancelled & you can board the train).

                                    But what a surprise, ticket was not cancelled & when I checked PNR status, 2 berths were confirmed & one was wait listed.
                                    And now when I trying to cancel it message is prompted that “chart is prepared & ticket can not be cancelled”

                                    So now I lost ticket amount, cancelled my journey, arranged travel by other means at high cost and apart from that big mental stress & physical torturer. We can’t take any decision even before an hour of our train departure.

                                    At least, I should get full ticket amount refund.

                                    You are right. It happened even to me.
                                    Indian railways is one of the worst with their onlne website. I really dont understand who is doing the technical work for this irctc.co.in website.

                                    Its really absurd that even in the booked ticket history, if you want to print the already booked ticket, there wont be any seat number and coach number.

                                    What is the use of having a ticket without seat and coach number ?? Cant they add these 2 items in the booked ticket history ?

                                    Nobody is complaining and nobody is improving..

                                    If someone is listening then please make these changes in irctc.co.in to reduce further problems.

                                    Indian Railways is absolutely pathetic. After all the taxes we pay to the govt for the betterment of atleast the public means, what do we get in return > a Smelly, stinky, Dirty, coach to travel... the washrooms are so god damn awful that you cannot even stand it fr seconds... provide awfully unclean and unhealthy food ... proly stale as well ... so the Govt has all the money to buy property of thousands of crores for themselves, but when it comes to doing something fr the country .. they dont wanna do it .. coz they think the JANTA is use to uncleanliness .. so they wud travel anyways ..whether its clean or not .. else where wud the Janta go .. taking things fr granted ..isnt it ?? they cannot make one stupid ticket booking website properly ..
                                    So the websites up at 8 AM .. first you wud try a zillion times to login it wont let u .. the server wont respond, everything wud freeze, u may encounter various other errors while trying to load the page . and finally when it wud work .. OMG .. theres a HUGE WAITING list number that u wud get ..

                                      I am tourist from the Republic of Mauritius and booked 2 tickets on the Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani train for my husband, Kaviraj Sharma Peedoly and myself on the 09th December 2009. We chose to travel on Rajdhani Express in the 2nd AC to avoid problems and spend a comfortable trip. Unfortunately, as we were nearing Tata Nagar, my stop, the Railway attendant servicing the A2 compartment, approached me asking outrightly for tips. As i did not have change, I gave him Rs. 20 and he rebuked me saying that it was not enough. I told him i did not have change and to this he answered that he had and if I wished, he could change it for me. I believe such kind of attitude gives a very bad image of not only the Railways but of India. On one hand India is trying to make an image in the international market and especially amidst the tourist industry and on the other hand we have such kind of mishaps.

                                        sir, i am Dr.shallender kaushal, practicing at my own clinic in kurukshetra HARYANA. I came to PATNA 2 days before by flight. For return journey i booked 6 seats in MAHANANDA train, for me and my friends. The departure time of train is approx. 11:45.of dated[protected]. we come to know that train is late by 4 hours.after 3 hours we were on railway station of PATNA. Thereafter we got information that train is late by 18 hours. Then in urgency we booked our seats in another train i.e RAJDHANI EXP, through a private travel agency. I paid 400/- extra per person to travel agent. Thus total amount i paid was 12000/-.
                                        After the reservation in another train (RAJDHANI) when i go through the processing of tickets cancellation of MAHANANDA, ON RAILWAY counter they told me to made cancellation ,throuh internet online. when i tried for this online by INDIAN RAILWAY and YATRA.COM , they told me that ticket can not be canceled , because cancellation time is over. i am doctor by profession , it was very urgent for me to reach at my clinic, so that my patients have not to suffered. PNR of ticket that i was willing to cancel is--[protected] , TRANSACTION ID --[protected]. sir i want to get my amount back that i paid for RAJDHANI EXPRESS i.e 12000/- rupees TEN THOUSAND (10,000/-) for compensation .
