Sir I had taken Two 2AC Tatkal Ticket on[protected] from Kalyan Jn to Mughal Sarai PNR No [protected] and Mughal Sarai to Guwahati PNR No [protected] on[protected] of Train No 0553. There is only one ticket is confirmed from Mughal Sarai to Guwahati. But the first ticket Kalyan to Mughal Sarai is not confirmed this is known by me when I was in the Train. The TTE force me to take Sleeper Class confirmation at S1-49.But he don't give me any certificate regarding the conversion of 2AC to Sleeper Class. So I dont get the excess amount due to the certificate this is known by me when a TTE of Mughal Sarai inform me. Now how I refund the amount kindly inform me.

I have also faced similar issues, when I have not travelled then Indian railways and filed for TDR they told that I have travelled by that train, so that means the TT gave my seat to somebody and took money from him and showed that I have travelled by that train.

Now my question is to reduce this type of corruption why cannot Indian railway five this TT with a Ticket checking automatic machine and make if person/people proof system.

there is a lot of scope in this area to reduce corruption and increase the income of Railways, as this corrupt money will go to railways.

    with due respect it is brought to your kind notice that at Hapur Junction Railway booking clerks are not issuing return tickets from new delhi to hapur only one way tickets are being issued Hapur to Delhi.that caused a difficulty to public to procure the ticket on returning from Delhi to back Hapur on the same day by train and causes the financial loss to the rairway also Kindly look into the matter personally and make necessary arrangement for the return ticket from Delhi at Hapur Railway station

      Sub: ‘Senior Citizens’ Card issued by State Govt’ ,.not recognized by the Railways for
      ‘AGE’ proof.

      I wish to bring your kind notice , an important aspect in Railways that ‘Senior Citizens’ Card issued by State Govt’ ,.is not recognized by the Railways for ‘AGE’ proof.

      I am baffled by the ignorance of ‘powers that be, in the Railways. Perhaps they are aware of this but too busy to look in to grievances of senior citizens on this aspect. You are aware (and the State Govt. too is aware) that the ‘ PAN CARD’ and ’PASSPORT’ , in majority cases, forms the base for age and address proof for issuance of ‘Senior Citizen Cards’.

      You are aware, that ‘PAN CARD’ AND ‘PASSPORT’ are such important documents that to get duplicate cards, is time consuming and painstaking, especially for senior Citizens. It is therefore not advisable to carry these original documents during travel .Moreover it is inconvenient to carry a load of cards with oneself. Senior Citizen cards come in handy in case of emergencies and accidents. It will be therefore prudent on the part of the Railways to accept these cards for identity (as id card ) as well as age proof.

      I request therefore your good selves to move the Hon Railway Minister. Ms Mamata Banerjee (She is sensitive to people’s and senior citizen’s welfare issues)

      Indian Citizen — ticket not issued

      In BMTC buses it has become regular affair that the conductors do not issue tickets inspite of insisting reason given by the conductor shortdistance bmtc do not issue tickets.It so happen the passenger has to pay hefty fine when checked by the vigilance ote bmtc for the mistake committed by the conductors. This problem exists in banglore for so many decades
      Local train route from cstm to panvel. Coach number 2037A. Train timing was on 11th Sept 2018 at 9:09 from panvel. Train compartment fans are not working some fans has been degraded speed is too slow. Request you to kindly check the same.

        I was traveling in AC 2 tier of Rajdhani Exp. # 2494 from H. Nizamuddin to Bangalore on 11th Apr 2010, on 12th night we were supplied Chapati/Paratha made of spoiled wheat floor & out dated curd in Dinner. When I have tried to complain to their pantry supervisor, he started asking sorry and was not willing to bring Complaint book saying that it has not been issued to them. When we tried to call Pantry Manager Mr. Sandip, he was reluctant to come and meet us and avoided to meet us. This shows that IRCTC does not have any control on their staff and they have a nexus with the contractors and accept low quality food from contractors. This corruption should be stopped immediately to save the health and hard earned money of passengers. Hope some action will be taken to avoid such incidents.

        Yes, I agree that they serve pathetic food in all the trains... and there is no complaint box or register available in the train.. now I highly recommend NOT TO EAT ANY RAIL FOOD DURING JOURNY...AVOID IT AS MUCH POSSIBLE...If you have to take anything for kids or yourself only branded packed stuff is OK like chips, cold drinks, biscuits, but before buying it please check the expiry also. I don't know who is getting benefit out of this withered food servicing.. It is an issue of serious concern otherwise some day we will come to know that hundreds will be hospitalized and surviving for life due to this kind of food.. there must be a strict action and inquiry of this..

            i booked a motorcycle from patiala to pune on 24 mar 2010, which was loaded onto a train to ambala cantt on the same day. now 18 days hence,the motorcycle is still at ambala cantt. i was told by cps patiala to pay extra money for the train guard and cps ambala to ensure that the bike reaches pune in time which i refused to pay. i am currently at kirkee and face a tight daily schedule which makes it very difficult to go to pune rly station everyday.

            I have booked my bike on 29th from Chennai to Guwahati as luggage with my ticket for the next days 2509 train.It has not reached Guwahati till now.When i asked in Chennai railway station they told me its loaded on the train number 2840 on the same night.Now they don't have a clue about my bike.
            Please help me out.What should i do now???any suggestions.

            Till date their is no affirmative answer from Railways.
            I have booked my household items from SSA on 23.09.10 for ASN vide Luggage Ticket No 773494 and journey ticket no 50727388. Till date the item is not reached its destination and thus makes my life miserable without daily use utensils, kitchen goods and other necessary articles.

              I had booked a e-ticket for26 Nov09 for my wife, her sister and nephew.Since the train was late at jalandhar and they had to catch a connecting flight from Delhi,they boarded shatabdi train by paying double the fare for AC Chair Car. I filed for my TDR on 03 Dec09 for the refund of my Fare . Customer care people said that I would be getting it after 60 days.
              It has been more than 4 Months are over and still the refund is not done.The status is still showing as "Refund under process".               Dear Sir/Madam,

              This is for an enquiry on how many transactions can be performed by a person at a time from a counter.

              I had been to Railway booking center in Indiaranagar BDA complex, Bangalore on 20th February using my credit card. There are total of 4 counters and only one counter is available for credit card users. I was waiting for this counter for a long time, but it was occupied by another person who was doing some transaction. I lost my patients after waiting long time and checked what's going on for this long time and how many transaction can be done at a time(as I found that more than ten transactions are made by that time).

              The STAFF who was available in counter got angry on my enquiry and he showed some document that was submitted by the person who was doing the transaction and shouted at me that " I am working on some warrents and I know the rules to do this job better" and asked me to go and wait till it get completed.

              Even if the person who was doing the transaction is from defence or from police department, I wanted to know how many transactions that can be performed by person from a normal booking counter.

              It would be great, if I can get a reply for this question so that I can educate the STAFF in this kind of situation.

              I want to brought in your notice about the my TDR request number: [protected] which was in turned rejected with remark "124-NR/6 As per records Passenger(s) travelled on the ticket. The case is repudiated."

              The train 2107A was delayed by 6hrs (approx) that day and than I cancelled my plan to travel. I had not travelled on that day and my office record can show that I was present in office 24.12.2009 & 25.12.2009 in mumbai. This clearly indicate that the ticket checker of that train had illegally allocated that berth to someone.
              My ticket was E-ticket which means that it was part of the ticket checker duty to check the photo identity card.

              I am working in public sector company and the attendance record can clearly indicate that I was in office in Mumbai. If I was attending office on travelling day as per my ticket than how the Ticket checker had allocated my berth to someone else.

              Recently, i had a bitter experience with Indian Railways.

              I had booked a ticket online via www.irctc.co.in.

              On travel date, train was late by more than 8 Hours. Consequently, i did not travel using the ticket and raised a TDR for refund of money. As Per rules, if train is late by more than 3 Hours, then in case of icket not used for travel, 100% money is refundable.

              However only 50% money was refunded. No explanation was provided as to why only 50% money is refunded despite repeated requests.

              South Eastern Railways- Tatanagar — Faulty Road Making process

              Near Tatanagar Station a road is being made from Tatanagar station to Khasmahal by Indian

              Railways. We found the process of making the same has following prolems:

              1) The road was lying in unusable condition for a long time ( the road is incidently in front of very

              senior Railway official's quaters, I wonder how they tolerated this for such a long time)

              2) The road is made on RCC basis, but no proper water curing is done

              3) Never found any railway official near the casting

              4) Traffic is not properly maintained for the half constructed road

              5) Road side filling is not properly done, making it quite UNSAFE

              6) If casting is done today tomorrow morning we found a water tank is standing over that casting

              (when it has not got any strength, it appears somebody is trying to make the road WEAKER)

              7) Never found a railway authority is near about the casting or the place of work

              8) At the end of the road (at Khasmahal end) nearly 3 meters of road casting thicness is 3 - 4

              inches which should not have been ( I believe from there road will start breaking as it is made

              WEAKER)

              I am tamjeed ahmad,I booked my ticket through IRCTC on[protected],the date of journey was 27/12/08 but unfortunately train got delayed more than 5 hours on the same date so i had not catchup the train...
              After that i make a file TDR of the same ticket for reimbursement of money. At irctc website it is very clear written that within 90 days, money would be reverted on your account but more than 11 month has passed but nothing has been reverted...even i had exchange a lot of mail to the IRCTC,but every time i get the same reply that your complain had been send the concern depertment.but nothing seems to happen.plz do the needful on the issue and make sure that these type of inconvinience should not be happen with any of the customer.

              My train got delayed for around 11 hours and so I did not board the train. I had a IInd A/C ETicket for that train.               Northern railway Delhi has given 50% refund after rigorous follow up for 6 months. As per rules and also according to IRCTC, refund should have been 100% as ticket was cancelled due to Rajdhani train running 11 hrs. late.

              IRCTC is opening the case again for balance 50% refund. PNR No. was [protected].

              I feel that I did a mistake by booking an e-ticket on line. Had I purchased the ticket from Railways window, I would have received the refund on journey date itself, 6 months ago.

              This type of complaint is very normal. Earlier I used to get refunds in time. Now I am also facing same problem. Two of my TDR s filed became more than 1 year old. IRCTC simply gives the reminders to the railways but even after repeated mails for any contact no I am not getting to chase the matter. It appears that there is no authority in IRCTC nor Railways who ia capable to address the problems., I have filed 2 TDRS one on 19.04.09 and another on 3rd May 09.               Indian Railways — TDR not refunded even after 9 months

              Dear Sir/Madam

              We had plans for travelling to bikaner on 14 January 2011 (PNR # [protected]). The train was delayed by 15 hours. SInce it was important for us to reach ASAP, a delay of 15 hrs want permissible for us. I had filed the TDR on 21 January 2011. The current status shown is CCM Registered. However, no refund has been processed even after more than 9 months.

              but as per as railways rules i am eligible for the full refund.

              I have filed the TDR against the ticket booked under PNR#[protected] on 20th December from Kanpur to Ghaziabad. The train was schedule to depart at 6:00AM. But, due to whether condition train got delayed and departed at 12:25 PM.

              Since, passenger did not travled, I filled the TDR for booking at 11:04:23 hrs. Of the same day and this is prior to rescheduled time. From that day onwards I was regularly contacting IRTCT, neither I am getting the refund nor I am getting the reason.

              Let me start my story once again as my earlier requests for TDR refund has been overlooked. I had booked two tickets (one for me and the other for my wife) from Kozhikode (CLT) to Thane (TNA) on 6th May 2015 by 3rd AC. It was waiting list in the begining but later one ticket (mine) only was confirmed and the other one was still in waiting list. As you are aware, I can not leave my wife in an unreserved compartment and enjoy the benefit of 3rd AC, I cancelled the ticket and applied for TDR with in the stipulated time. Since then I am following up with customer care and so far I did not get any feed back from Indian Railways regarding my TDR. As advised, I checked TDR history but could not find my claim any where in the system. I still do not know why my TDR application has been rejected. I expect the Railways should have the courtsy atleast to inform me the reason for refusal of refund. I still beleive that Indian Railways under the Minister Mr.Suresh Prabhu is efficient and would give priority to customer’s problems. Now once again I request Irctc in particular and Indian Railways in general to look in to the matter and do justice to my claim request at the earliest.

                Shramjivi Express 2391 will start from Rajgeer station from Bihar & it is always late in Patna which is around 50 km, so it is late on all station till new delhi. Same train when start from New Delhi to Rajgeer it always on time. It means there is no problem in weather it is the problem of operation.

                Poor Service and Delay in Train to reach its destination — Delay in Train to reach its destination

                This complaint is about the train 2RNT from Rewari to Tilak Bridge. Generally before interlocking recently taken place at Rewari, this train was general reaches its destination about 9:30 but now the train is generally arriving at approx. 10:00 AM. The daily commuters are day by day being harrassed by the Indian Railway Authorities but nobody takes care about that.

                If the train comes at its right time, either at Daya Basti or at KishanGanj or at New Delhi or surroundings, the train is being deliberately delayed but no Railway Authority takes care about this.

                This train earlier comes through the Sarai Rohilla main platform but now it comes through the Kirti Nagar area, this further delay the train.

                I, on behalf of passengers hereby states that so many complaint letter has been sent but no action is being taken by the Railway Staff. The goods train are more preferred than this train as it was confirmed by the Driver.

                I hereby asks the following questions :

                1. Is there any control of the Railway Authority on this train or not. If yes, then why this train is delayed deliberately and being harrassed to the daily passengers.

                2. Who is responsible for this delay and why the strict action has not been taken by the Railway Authority to these employees? Due to there attitude only, this train is deliberately delayed?

                3. Who is the appropriate authority to control this train? Why the action on many complaint has not been taken as yet. The facility like interlocking, conversion into the broadgage is for providing better facility or for further harrassment to the commuters/passengers?

                Kindly look into this matter otherwise the things may be serious, because the dissatisfaction in daily passenger is increasing day by day.

                Shramjivi train is really frustrating. I booked the ticket for 11 Apr 2010, but it is late by 3:30 hours I am not sure if I can catch my flight to cochin from New Delhi @ 12 in the afternoon. I dont understand what the railway employees doing if they are unable to run the trains in time. Its rediculous to talk about trains in india and then to in UP and Bihar. I wish railways is run by private company so that atleast after paying the full amount of ticket, one can reach its destination in time. Grrrrrrrrrrrr

                    Sub: wrong information from enquiry no. 139
                    I would like to inform that ticket having PNR No. [protected] was booked for two passengers (MUNIL KUMAR/30/M, AMRITA SINGH/29/F) on 27.03.2010 for traveling date 29.03.2010 from H. Nizamuddun to Mumbai Central in Train GOLDEN TEMPLE ML(2904) under tatkal quota.
                    Train was scheduled to depart H. Nizamuddin at 07:45 hrs on 29.03.2010.
                    On the day of travelling i.e.29.03.2010 at 05:30 hrs I called on enquiry no. 139 to enquire about the arrival/ departure of the train 2904, and got the information that the train is running late by 13 hours and some minutes. Subsequently we made several calls from [protected] and [protected] to enquire the status of the train and talked to customer care executives also from 05:30 to 07:00 hrs, we got same response all the time.
                    Around 09:30 hours, I again called from [protected] on enquiry no 139 to know the current status and talked to customer care executive and got shocked to know that train had already left from H. Nizamuddin at 08:05 hrs. After knowing this shocking news, I discussed with customer care executive about the earlier information of 13 hrs delay, he then enquired and admitted that there was wrong entry in the system.
                    But in all these incidents, I lost my peace of mind, money and valuable time. I had to buy Air tickets for that same day, since I have to join the office next morning.
                    I want serious action on this matter and a proper compensation for my loss.

                    I am Madhu Sudan Kundu - a daily passanger of Bongaon-Sealdah. I am at Duttapukur. Please note, some un-used ladies special issued by our Railway department, that which, we are suffering for late running of all trains. Also please note, at night - 9.02 P.M. one Bobgaon Local after that 02 Nos. Barasat Local than 09.45 P.M. another Bongaon Local. If one of two Nos. Barasat Local extend to Habra, that huge passanger will be helpful at night. Please look into the matter.

                      I have booked my house hold articles vide Railway receipt no. 029479 dt 02.4.10 booked from Secunderabad to Jabalpur. when I checked with booking clerk when it will be reaching Jabalpur he said in couple of days but till date when I contacted JBP parcel office the parcel not yet reached and when we check with them about approximate date of parcel reaching JBP they are telling us that it has gone to PATNA and they are telling us to find out from Patna whether they have resent or not if the parcel is sent back to JBP find out the date /train no. but we dont have the PATNA parcel office contact no.please help us in getting the parcel.

                        Along with my family, I was traveling from Jammu to Kota in Sarvodaya express on 5-April-2010 (Train#2476). While train was standing on New Delhi station, someone snatched gold chain from my wife`s neck. At that time, with my son in her lap, my wife was sitting on the window seat#25 in coach S3. This person pulled the chain from outside window and ran away on the tracks. As I was to continue my journey to Kota, we did not lodged the complaint at that time.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          The catering in Rajdhani Exp. trains are going down day by day. Today while boarding the Delhi-Ghy, 2236 Rajdhani Exp. (started 9.30AM from Delhi), it was expected to have served the Breakfast. But the caterers are failed to do so. We were in 3AC (B8-57, 58 & 60) and it was found that the people in 2AC were served the breakfast. But as per the rule, the catering service is same for the 3AC,2AC and CC passangers. When the Coach TTE was enquired, the reply was that as the train starts at 9.30AM, so breakfast was not served. But he kept mum for the same to the 2AC passangers. These are some undesired irregularities presently going on in Indian Railways.

                          Indian Railway — About Service in Rajdhani

                          `I with my family came to New Delhi in" Guhati Delhi Rajdhani" on 10th March...I found lot of gaps in the service we used to get in Rajdhani 5 years back...Ministey is saying that no price hack but they are doing hell of cost cutting in the services...Passenger used to get Soup, Frooti ..and Choclates for childeren but now nothing...Our train got late because of some technical fault just before Kanpur central but it took 5 Hr to get help..This is the service we are getting for Rajdhnai, God knows what will happen to general train ...Train are as usual late as were in under different minister...I have also seen one mice running under THIRD A C comartment in Rajdhani..I compalint to the railway staff then he says "lalu ji ki kripa hai"...In the reign of the UPA gonernmet...Air Fare is so high that comman man can;t afford it and Railway fare is ok but service is so poor that comman man has to take the service with lots of fear in mind...Please do something
                          I was also travelling on the same train...As train got late there was no arrangement for extra water and food...they just provide 100 gm boiled rice, Pulse and pickel...no vegetable nothing
                          I usually travel bangalore to delhi &amp; delhi to banglore with my two kids. Rajdhani catering service is going down day by day. Now no newspaper, jam, juice even they are not giving another water bottle without asking.They r storing them outside may be for sale later on plateform . Last time d train was late 4 hrs but those people who r in catering did't ask for any thing since morning &amp; even those were so daring they came to asked for a tip.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I was and many passengers suffered from harassment by T.T Anil. Anil is on duty ( in Jehlam Express train no. 1078() he is mostly check the train from Sonipat Railway station to Subji Mandi Railway Station with his local 3 to 5 friend his friend not the servant of railway board but he his take these all people whit him because they help to him to take money and mobile phone from passenger Mr. Anil is without dress and harasses the passenger using his dirty abuse language and punching and pushed the passenger with fighting. I am very sad to see this type of ( Anil ) T.T. in our railway. He is caught passenger and takes ticket and money from wallet force fully to say using his dirty abuse language if you don’t give the money and ticket to me then I will be beat you*%$^&*$%$. he is with 3 to 5 person who is not railway staff and Last month he is also fight with one passenger with his friend and beat him he is belong to Delhi police and he is with his wife who she is working in also Indian railway but the matter is close de to staff member but what we are do we are not belong to railway staff or any gov. staff.

                            2 Days ago he is caught my friend along 6 passanger and take his money MST and Mobile phone and told to him meet him on subji mandi railway station.
                            On Subji Mandi railway station he is collect Rs. 200 per person and take this money in his pocket in this crime Station master also include whit him because when I goes to complain of Anil (T.T) he told me that no complaint book available here go way from here or I will took you in jail.

                            I request you please take Strong action against to Mr. Anil T.T then he will be never do this type of dirty thing repeat again

                            my father was journey on[protected] in PADMAVAT EXP (14208). THE Ticket PNR NO-[protected] The status is waiting list is 22 in 3rd AC Compartment.the T.T said these ticket is froud and illeagle & then also abuse with him & said out from the coach.after some time they throw the luggagde of my father's.picked the color. MY FATHER IS SENIOUR CITIZEN ...They also helpless...PLS DO THE NEEDFUL

                              Indian Railway — Extreme Misbehaviour

                              Hi,
                              I am Soumen . Now I am working as a software engineer. This is a incident happened one year before at white field railway station(Bangalore) . I stayed at that station for whole night . I had entered at the ticket counter . But one who was sitting at counter misbehaved with me . But she allowed one man to sleep inside the railway counter . At morning though I was the first person to get the ticket she didnt allow me to get the ticket . Can I expect a real justice from you . Another thing she had broken my spectacles also at morning by hitting me because by mistaken I told this misbehavior to one of his friend .

                                I with my wife and eleven months daughter boarded train no.7031- PNR no: 814-0Hyderabad Express on 1.04.2010 at 6:10PM for Pune. My ticket was not conformed it has waiting Number 1 and 2 manual ticket. We thought that if one or two seats available then the TTE can allocate to us anyhow ours ticket status is waiting 1 &2
                                I am of the opinion that if seat allocated passenger is not boarded on the train, the TTE will allocate the same to other passengers as below priority wise
                                1, RAC passengers.
                                2, Waiting passengers (Not for e-ticket passengers) (If RAC cleared then)
                                3, General/non ticket passengers after penalty
                                Above allocation is also base on serial numbers/waiting Number
                                Same thing I told to three TTEs (Names not known)who are in the coach 8 in same train, but there are not listening my words, I have enough proof for all these unauthorized/non ticket people had paid extra money to TTE for being accommodated in under their coaches and those TTEs are not fallowing the above rules.
                                That journey was very horrible to me, my wife and eleven months daughter
                                May I request you to take penal action against the TTE staff at the earliest. The action taken may please be informed to the undersigned so as to restore the faith in the complaint mechanism.

                                  I was travelling on 5th april 2010 from jammu to vadodara on jammu tavi train no 2478/JAT JAMNAGR EXP with my family total 4 persons 2 adults & 2 children, while from jammu there were 7 to 8 T T checking our tickets but when we reached at ratlam the T T asked me for ticket I showed him my ticket than he asked about my ID, I showed my original pan card & original driving licence but he told me that this is not valid for ID I asked him than what is valid he told me that voter ID card is only valid. than after he told me I can allow you if you give me 2000 Rs for four pessangers I told him no than he you have to pay fine for this & he gave me reciept of 2320 Rs & make me to pay this money I have paid this & my paid reciept no is 613493 & I paid money, but sir how redicullious it is that govn officers is just making the public fool & getting money. what should I do now, when I asked his name he told me rishad shaikh. if there is any law in our country please help me & punish the T T for this harrasment.

                                    This is to write in utter disgust that we a group of about 30 persons including old ladies aand children were travelling from Bhagalpur to New delhi on the 03 april 2010 by train no. 4003 New Farakka-Newdelhi express in the 3A and 2A coaches. To our dismay both these coaches were parked beyond the platform no 3 and we had to wade through the track outside the platform to board the train. The stoppage time was inadequate and in the melee most o[censored]s got hurt and found it extremely difficult to climb the ladder. On boarding the train, we found that a/c of 2A coach was ineffective and there was no water in that coach no.14059. Adding to our horror and plight, The door of the bathroom was broken and was suspending inside out. I can produce a photograph of the broken door and the dry taps. The cleanliness was missing and we had to clean the litter ourselves.The support staff pleaded helplessness in the absence of a proper response from the station authorities. They were passing off the messages to the next station but to no avail. We could manage the water at the lucknow station next morning that too after we threatened to hold the train. We thanked our stars for the relief of alighting from the train at new delhi.

                                    I need to understand that even after paying through our nose in terms of train fare, why this step-motherly treatment was given to the passangers of the said train, who had paid at par with the passangers of the other trains. Should not we hang our head in shame for the want of better facilities, leave alone the world-class facilities, which we have been claiming and blowing the trumpet about our Indian Railways.

                                    The railways authorities should be ashamed for poor maintainance and must act in haste to rectify their misdeeds.

                                    We shall go the press and maybe the court, if we do not get a reply to this effect within a week.

                                      We are daily commuters of Western Railway travel from Palghar to Andheri ….we request you start EMU services up to Dahanu Road as soon as possible & also start more emu trains from Palghar or Dahanu to Churchgate. The Memu & Shuttle trains running between Dahanu –Virar Section getting over crowded & also there are 1 to 2 hours gap between two trains…..
                                      Mumbai Suburban Area already extended up to Dahanu Road but western railway always ignores Virar Dahanu Section. We hope that this time Western Railway Authority taking seriously on this Section.

                                      Request you to give Pre Mansoon season gift to Dahanu- Virar Section.

                                      Western Railway Local Train — Garbage in the Coach.

                                      Dadar (Time 6.10pm) to Chruchgate (6.25pm) Dated:- 20th December 2009.

                                      We Catches the New Local Train from Dadar around 6.10 PM. The end destination was Chruchgate. What we see inside in the Compartment is lot of garbage seems to be that the railway cleaning employees has not done their duty from many days.

                                      We approached the railway authority Mr. Tiwari, Area Station Manager. But He neither knows the proper person who is responsible for the lack of duty nor he knows any Email Id of higher Authority to whom the matter to be reported.

                                      We are attaching the photo and video of the running local train, This is the situation of our metros life line, which is horrible and unbelievable.

                                      you are wasting your time, and energy, why are you blamming railways, the public who travels in train are not responsible,
                                      I regularly travel from Andheri to Grant Road. I have observed that flooring of the coaches are not washed, advertisement stickers on the wall, garbage lying on either side of the track on the government property, People attending call of nature in open view, Hijras (eunuchs) bothering the passengers, not enough TCs available to check on second class travelers in First Class, a very badly stinking garbage dump near Mahalaxmi, tube lights and fans in dirty conditions and public address system going full volume making it difficult to understand a work. For an NRI, this is a nightmare. Hope this gets adressed by somebody.

                                        In Railway reservation forms , they ask preference of seats/ berth you require while reserving your berth also in onlin booking also the site asks your preferred seats.

                                        I had booked 4 berths in 2tier AC in Purna Express from Pune to Ernakulam on 22nd May 2010 and back on 30th May.

                                        Since our family is going , I needed all the 4 berths in the cabin of 4 , ie no side seat . To get this I was first in queue for reservation 90 days in advance for both the reservations , but in both cases I got only 2 cabin seats and the other 2 side seats. Also after booking I saw that there was enough seats balance for reservation.

                                        When asked to station master he said , it is computer selected and no booking clerk can reserve preferred seats.

                                        My complaint is that if the berth selection is computer logic , THEN REMOVE THE BERTH PREFERENCE COLOMNS IN RESERVATION FORMS AS WELL AS ONLINE BOOKING.

                                        Indian Railways — Seating preference

                                        Sir,

                                        On 30.03.2010, I went to Bangalore Malleshwaram Railway Station to book 3 tickets for my son in law and my grand children who are aged between 9 and 11 for their journey from Bangalore city to Shimoga Town in Train No. 6201 ( SBC-SMET) on 4.4.2010, since after the exams, the children were just waiting for the opportunity to travel by train occupying WINDOW SEAT , which they specifically told me while going for the booking.

                                        Before going to Rly. Stn. I even checked the ticket availability for the above train for 4.4.10 in the internet and it was showing more than 200 Seats available. Accordingly, I requested the booking clerk in the counter ( a Lady) to kindly provide me 2 window seats(opposite - opposite ) for the children , or atleast one since there are number of vacant seats . But the tickeet issued to me ( PNR NO.[protected] did not have any window seat which has totally upset me and when I enquired , she flatly told me that there is NO OPTION AVAILABLE TO GIVE the seat I wanted /Preferred . Hence, without any alternative I took the ticket and returned home and when I have told my grand children, they were totally upset and the younger one even started shouting at me , showing his anger. They even don't want to travel without a window seat.

                                        Sir, we always prefer to travel by train rather than bus and we make reservation in advance and seek preference in the berths or seatings so long as it is available , and our request also used to be considered by the booking clerks.

                                        But, the above incident ,though more than 200 seatings were available but not given the preference I had requested for by the bookng clerk (lady) at Malleswaram Rly. Stn. on 30.3.10 , has put me in a very embarrassing situation with my grand children.

                                        Sir, is there any possiblity that my request could be considered before the journey date (4.4.10). If so, I may pl. be intimated so that I can follow your advice. .
