I am a senior citizen and bought a tatkal ticket on 24-07-09 to travel on 25-07-09 along with my wife in Train No.2806 vide PNR[protected] in Ac.Chair Car C2 seat numbers 6 and 7. Cockroaches were freely moving across the passengers, waterpipe in the westernmodel W/C broken and water was not flushing into the pot, and the doorcloser to the AC Chair Car Coach was not functioning. Some passengers were smoking at the door of the coach smoke was coming insdie the compartment. The conductor came and I asked for the complaint book but he said that the complaint book was with the guard. When I pointed out these to him he expressed his inability. Throughout the journey from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam we experienced lot of inconvenience despite having bought a ticket by paying Rs.300/- extra for Tatkal for sitting in the AC Chair car.
Railways should make available the complaint book in each coach and it should be handed over for registering the lapses on demand and a note to the affect that complaint book is available should be displayed in each bay of the coach. I request for a suitable compensation to me for this inconvenince caused to me by the railways. My phone number [protected].

I am quite angry with the reduculus behaviour of driver of Palnadu Express at the station Satnat nagar of Hyderabad on[protected] at 2.40pm.We had reserved for D5-65 seat but the train was stopped reduculosly out of the plotform.D4and D5 which are the reserved compartments which are out of platforms.How can the old people can get into the train where it just stops for a minite.Even the people of the station shows us the wrong direction for D5.Even the aged person(70) was fallen down while going to the seat D5-65.
THis should not be reapeated.You have to give the preference to reserved people of the train.The station duty officers must be aware of the stops of various compartemnts.Other wise arrage various sign boards so that so confusion will arise.

I request the SCR to take some measures for the above said complaint.

SCR railways — Maintenance

Couple of days my parents travelled by Hussain Sagar Express from Hyd - Mumbai, we generally travel by AC 2 Tier. In the past we had seen cockroaches in the train, but this time it crossed the limit. We were given cabin sort of 2 seats at the corner of the bogie, so many cockroaches were present, and at night they we moving all over the body, it was a bad experience. So, I request railways officals to look in it and please try to make a clear journey for all o[censored]s...

Its really reduculus to see that in Secunderabad station where Parking for two wheelers they have raised the amount directly from Rs.16 for 24 hrs to Rs.41 for 24hrs hrs Becasue I commute with my two wheeler every fortnight, so that i will be keeping my vehicle for 2-3days I cannot go for monthely rental fo Rs.400/-, how they can increase above 100% fee if they are going to increase like 15% to 20% that is some what we can understand that is reasonable, but suddenlyraise of above 100% price no body can agree this. This tender they have given to Nav Bharath enterprises. How you can do like this to the citizens of inida.

Please look into this matter seriously this states there is lot of corruption in Railways or some body is relative of railway who are misusing the things.

So, I request SCR to take necessary steps to reduce the charges.
People here in Bangarpet junction of kolar dist, Karnataka, are very much angry with the railways vehicle stand contracts...we have to pay 20 rupees for parking our two wheelers in bangarpet...its tough for students or daily wage employers...they have to pay 20 rs daily...respected authority people please kindly cancel their contract and hire some govt official to look after these situations in various cities

my father and mothers are senior citizens. they traveled from secunderabad to kadiri train no.12732 dated 09/03/2011 coach s11, seat nos. 33 and 36. unfortunately they did not carry the id proof as senior citizens. but TC came and taken bribe of Rs200 with senior citizens. even they informed to TC we will submit at kadiri because this is new train we came earlier hyderabad before the train introduce. we are indians we respect senior citizens. But the behaviour of TC with senior citizens is very rash i request you to pay back the money to senior citizens mr. s. harinath babu and s. laxmidevamma their contact no.[protected]
Poor maintenance of the Railway station in Malleshwaram,

we bring your kind notice, that we are scaring to travel in train malleshwaram railway station, lot of trees, plants near
the platform, yesterday night we face lot of problem, big snake is neat platform, a lot of passangers are traveling
in night train above 9 pm, pl seriously lokk into the matter, and clean all the plant & trees, and provide light

    I have suffered many a times in Phagwara, Punjab Railway Reservation counters where they do not return balance - small change like 1 or 2 Rupee even sometimes it goes upto 7 Rupee. If you want it then you have to ask for three four times. It happens with everyone and it becomes their duty to return the change and if they dont have they should ask for it to the customer but straight way they go for the next customer without giving the balance. I think they are paid for their services and not they should collect small money from us.

    I want strict action to be taken against it as not only in this area, even in many of the shops things are being charged more than the retail price mentioned on it. Cold drinks are the main focus which is being charged more everywhere in Punjab and the reason being said is that they take the cooling charge.

    I don't know why this type of corruption is here in Punjab as my born and brought up is from Kolkata and I never found this type of happenning over there.

    I just wanted the matter to be focussed so that corrective measures could be taken.

        Indian railways issues countless unproportionate number of tickets for people travelling without reservation, it does not maintain enough capacity.

        As you may know there is class system and the unreserved are already discriminated in terms of quality of facility and now there is space crunch so if you are traveling in unreserved Indian railways does not care if you hand in the doorway or sit on the floor.

        Such a profitabel organisation collecting money from public and behaving so carelessly is abhorable. If they don't want to carry p[assengers who pay less then they should totally take offd the unreserved compartments.

        Hope they have some sense on this and treat people better.

        Nope! they dont have a bettter sense on treating people! ...

        My Dad was in railways from past 20yrs approx. And I personally asked him to request for a hike in no.of.unreserved coaches and he did so.
        However the management replied that "That's not possible, We are not here to care for passengers. Infact Passenger travelling is secondary for railways and the mail concentration was on goods transport.". This request went in a long conversation as it's conveyed to union leaders and finally they said "Unreserved Compartments are being occupied by RMS, LR, SLR, PH, Ladies, Military... The problem is with the higher officials who can't even manage to migrate the services like SLR, LR, RMS to goods transport department and therefore raising no.of.unreserved coaches is impossible".

        But I agree on your point that they should maintain proper count on issuing based on the availability of trains in particular route.

        I hope you are aware of Lalu's trail to introduce new side bed in sleeper coaches which is very in-comfortable. From this we could understand that their concentration is to increase the revenue not serving people.

          I booked a ticket from Delhi Safdarjang to Ratlam departing on 07th November 2007 (Ticket PNR No.[protected] Train No. 0906

          Train was late >12 Hrs, as informed on Safdarjang Railway Station

          I came to New Delhi Railway Station, asked for refund, but they didn't & asked me to wait for window to open till 02:00 AM on 08th Nov'07

          Upon my asking for refund again they asked to file a TDR. I filed the same & waited for pay order to come at my address.

          It came after three & half Months, & when I went at H. Nizamuddin for my refund with Pay Order, clerks there were sending me here & there for refund, & I couldn't get that refund.

          Pay Order (Refund) No. 540114 dated 19th Feb'09

          Please help me out.

              Above information has been sent via email to the western railway customer care id: [protected]@rb.railnet.gov.in

              not just once but twice, dated: Thursday, 9/7/2009. but no action taken.

              I went to the reservation counters of Bharuch as well as Baroda to inform them the above issue. I was told to wait for 2-3 days and the issue would be solved, but till today (27/7/2009) the status remains the same.

              Officer at Reservation counter asked me to book the ticket till next station(Surat), but then I have to pay more.

              When I informed the same issue at: [protected]@irctc.co.in, I got a reply from them as:
              "Dear Customer,

              IRCTC/Internet Ticketing Centre is only an intermediate agency for Indian Railways to book ticket through Internet. Request you to please bring this to the notice of the Railway Authorities as we are bound to follow the rules framed by the Railway Board.

              For any general suggestions / complaints can be addressed to [protected]@rb.railnet.gov.in
              "

              Also what I am told from the Reservation Officer at Baroda is that, for Train No. 2993, they have called Delhi Office and requested to make the Update. But as Train No. 2994, starts from Jaipur, Officers from there need to call Delhi Office and request for Update.

              Now I really don't know where should I go to get this problem solved. Where ever I made the request, I was told that They cant help me.

              What I don't understand is, If one can update the system for Up train, why it remained for Down one, when the stop is kept for both way routes.

                We Boarded in Train No 9047 at Surat Station on 20th June 09 to Travel to Bhagalpur With Valid E-Ticket PNR NO:-[protected].

                Two of the Coach Attendent Checked the E-Ticket and I-d Proof and Certified it as Valid. But the Train Ticket Checker at Near Bhusawal Charged an unnecessary Penalty of Rs 3996/- Inspite of Showing a Valid Ticket and I-D Proof (Driving License No:- GJ05/110378/07). Moreover he also Harrased us Threatning to Push From the Train.

                Thereafter we also showed our other official documents containing our name and address to proof our identity. But he didn’t lisened to us and Continued threatning to Push from the train. During this traveling we were very much uncomfortable and upset with the rude behaviour of Train ticket checker.

                Kindly Reply us and do the needful action & Request you to Refund our Penalty Charges.

                  I am a regular traveler from Pune to Mumbai CST & back mostly by Intercity Express. Since last few times, whenever my seat has been booked in C2 compartment, I have found the seats are in very bad shape. Some of them are fixed and cannot be moved or some of them are askew. I have complained to the TTEs present in the train too, but no action has been taken. I cannot remember the seat numbers of all bad seats, but last time the seat No.20 (window seat) in C2 compartment could not be made straight.There are lot of such seats since many other travelers also keep complaining. I think the railways should check these seats periodically and repair them.

                    I have faced a problem(late arrival of train) while travelling ernakulam north to pudukkad. train no: 306 ticket no :r9021 23/07/2009.With the help of the Guard i give the written complaint to him. But he is not intersted with that he also tried to discourage me.At the next day 24th the guard called me evening
                    and say your complaint is not valid, he talk me with abused langauge, and said that i dont have good english. I think i didnt called him "SIR". thats why he is said like that.

                    So sir take a good judgment about this both problem ( Of guard behavior and late arrival of guruvayoou passenger Train)

                      Dear Sir,

                      Sub: Realization of our deposited money towards membership of IRWO.
                      Ref: Dwelling Unit (Type-I & III) in Rail Vihar, Asansol Project, West Bengal.

                      With profound respect and humble submission, we the undersigned petitioners beg to lay down the following facts for your kind perusal and needful action.
                      The undersigned are Railway men, applied for purchase of dwelling units’ type A-1 & A-3 at Rail Vihar, Asansol Project, West Bengal being constructed by Indian Railway Welfare Organization (IRWO) whose corporate office at Rly Complex, Shivaji Bridge, New Delhi-11001, and Ph[protected].IRWO has been set up as a register society to provide houses for serving and retired railway men at all India level purely as a social welfare measure on No profit no loss basis.

                      The history of the case in concise is that:
                      We became the member of Indian Railway Welfare Organization (IRWO) in the year 2002 for housing scheme at Asansol project and paid land cost in the year 2004 and also IRWO distributed a brochure with payment schedule. Tentative cost of type A1 & A3 was Rs.4.75 lakhs & Rs.10.9 lakhs respectively. As per schedule of payment of IRWO, we have paid Rs 3.15 lakhs for A1 & Rs.5.85 lakhs for A3 dwelling unit in favour of IRWO which cover fifth installment. It was assumed that dwelling units will be handed over by March-2007.
                      But IRWO could not keep their work due to their administrative inefficiency and lack of interest to the project as it is far away from Metro cities and there was no progress of work. After 2 years a letter was sent by IRWO/NDLS on dated 29.11.06 with huge escalation of cost of the dwelling unit & cost of type A1 & A3 reached to Rs.6.65 lakhs & Rs.14.95 lakhs respectively. But IRWO was given the option that if any allottee desires to withdraw his allotment due to enhancement of cost of dwelling units, it would be considered without any deduction and full amount to be refunded to the allottee. Subsequently, several allottees had applied for refund and the refund have been paid back to the allottees without any deduction.
                      Again a letter was sent from IRWO/NDLS on dated 5th June, 2008 for 25% escalation of dwelling unit and the revised cost was beyond our capacity. We could not manage to collect any information from IRWO office when this project will be completed and handed over to allottees.IRWO did not bother to communicate or interact with the allottees.
                      Hence, we applied for withdrawal our membership from the project and to refund our deposited money on November, 2008.
                      After a long time, Managing Director/IRWO/NDLS vide letter No. IRWO/DF/ASN/WD/Refund/Pt.I dated 5.06.09 intimated that huge deduction(Rs.59, 737for A1 & Rs.1, 26, 0000 for A3) from the total amount deposited as per para 20.3 and also the actual refund will be made to us by realizing the same from the new allottees. Although GM/IRWO/East zone has requested to Managing Director/Finance, IRWO/New Delhi for refund the full deposited money paid by the allottee.This para 20.3 has not been stipulated in the Brochure supplied to us on January, 2002.According to the Brochure supplied to us, deduction limited to Rs.10, 000/- for A1 & Rs.20, 000/- for A3 and refund will be made to us by realizing the same from the new allottees. But IRWO in any stage could not keep their work.
                      It is also surprising to note that in the previous instance where 11 numbers of allottees were also withdrawn from the Asansol project after paying 5th installment, IRWO/NDLS have returned full amount vide letter No. IRWO/DF/Asansol/Refund dated 6.05.08. In this case IRWO has not applied any rules regarding refund of money. Hence, we should also not to be deprived being identical case in the same zone (Project) of IRWO/ASN and falls under the purview of same rules and regulations. In fact we are being harassed by IRWO and living with great anxiety to refund our hard earned money from IRWO.

                      i)We, the allottees are not responsible from any aspect as we have paid our installments as per schedule and work at site is directly attributed to IRWO not the allottees.
                      ii)We have withdrawn our membership due to huge escalation of cost (50%) in two phases that is due to poor and dilatory progress of work by IRWO. We are paying the bank interest for the project throughout five (5) years. But IRWO did not pay any attention to refund money adapting dilly-dallying tactics.
                      iii)There is a provision of collecting penalty due to delay payment, but there is no penalty due to delay finish of the project by IRWO.
                      iv)We have lost the interest of our own money and paid huge interest to the bank in five (05) years for bank-loan. Nobody is care for that.
                      v)It is the very rare instance that seven (07) year passed still IRWO cannot make only 70 dwelling units.
                      vi)The equalization charges have to pay by the new allottees, whereas no interest will be paid to the old allottees of their deposited money.

                      In view of the facts as enumerated above, we request your good self to kindly bring it to the notice of the Authority of Rly Board and the Managing Director/IRWO/NDLS through your media so that we can help us to get the refund of our money as early as possible without any deduction.

                        Dear Sir,

                        I was travelling between Burhanpur and Dadar by train number 1058 Amritsar Dadar Express on the 8th of july 2009, and regret to say that the Coach Airconditioner was switched off by the Coach Techncian/Attendant.

                        The same was informed to the Coach TTE at the Bhusawal Railway Station, and he too requested the techncian to turn on the A/c for the coach, but he said he had switched it off as the train was stationary and would turn it on once the train moves.

                        Other passengers also complained, and also the fans were not working.

                        The coach number was B1 and my PNR number was[protected].

                        Request for a refund of the A/C fare as the same was not provided, and also caused a lot of inconvenience as it was hot and suffocating in the enclosed A/C coach.

                        Indian Railways — non working of air conditioner

                        i was travelling in "Amritsar shatabdi" 2013 train on 22/06/08 in coach no. C-8 seat no. 49 against Ticket no. 24599874 and PNR no.[protected].

                        The air-condition of the coach C-8 was not working right from the New delhi Rly Station. i hv approached many times to the attendant for the same. but no body had bothered about my complaint. when many peoples start shouting then the AC engg. replyed that we are trying to rectify it but it is not taking load. when i hv asked for complaint register from TTE, he straight away refused to provide the same and he was also protecting the AC Engg. Staff.

                        I just want to suggest the concerned officials that the train should be checked properly before leaving the starting station and the hard and necessary action must be taken against the TTE as well as the Air-condition maintenance staff.

                        I am travelled in nellai express before one month in S7 coach. In my coach the fan was not worked. All passengers including me complained to TTE regarding fan problem. The TTE did not solve our matter. This is not Right way to treat the passengers in train.

                          In spite of reading of removal of side middle birth (SMB) as back as Feb 2009 we still find it there! Allthough my ticket from Nagpur to Yesvantpur did mention SM but during return by Sampark Kranti on 10th the tickets didnot mention n so there were new nos. put on train. How is this different from "Cheating of Consumers"? The ticket shows only 2 side seats but he/she finds 3 in train and not to forget the commotion. Has the railways even tried it before implementing?? I was travelling from Nagpur to Yeshvantpur on 6th July 2009 by Sampark Kranti. S7 62. So is it going to be removed? If yes by what date?

                              It has become a regular practice of sleeper coach tc (tte) to allow commutors in the sleeper coaches without valid sleeper class fair tickets . For allowing this kind of illegal act they charge from Rs.30 to Rs.50/- This amount is received without issuing any receipt or even taking the legal fair difference. Also while doing so they won't care to see the availability of accomodation. This causes a sever inconvinience to the rserved sleeper class passengers particularly ladies who can not even reach the toilets or behave freely in the compartments. The concerned staff doesn't even attened the coach while the passengers Board or Get down the coach at the stations. All such running staff occupies ths A.C. coaches. In the night hours also they are absconding from the duty coach.
                              Many a times I travel the Nandigram Express flying between Nagpur & Mumbai CST. The type of sinario is a daily affair. The railway staff is making thounds of rupees from the illegal sleeper class passengers by allowing them to travel in the coaches. Such an incidence was ex[erienced by me on[protected] when I was travelling in coach S-4 in the train. When I enquired the concerned staff I was told the name as Mr.Mohan & Mr.C.V.Rao. They were receiving the amounts from the individual passengers for allowing them to travel in the sleeper coach without sleeper class tickets & also without availability of vaccant seats.Also they allow the Monthly pass holders to travel in the sleeper coach. They are so much careless & seasoned staffers that they said nothing can happen evenif any body complains. "Ye subkhuch to chalta hai " was their answer. When talked of the inconvinience they simply neglected & continued their collection of money. It is my request to the concerned railway authorities & the ministry higher ups to look into the matters of such illigal acts of the staff & take necessary actions against the staffer like the two mentioned above. These two are the example of such staff. There are many more in the railways.If the authorities & the ministers are real representatives of people at large they should take some strict steps to curb such tendencies who are avoiding their duties & promoting illigal acts every now & then. It is my request to the conern authority to look into this kind of problemes as one day or the other they will also be like me & will have the similar experience.

                              Ya, i do agree with it and also the passengers who travel without sleeper class tickets are also causing disturbance to the passengers who has reserved the ticket by telling please adjust and sit !!
                              Like this means why we need to reserve ??

                                Sub:- Complaint, this is to inform you that I'm assulated by Ticket Checker Ashok Chand. Coach S2, Train No. 2462 Mandor.

                                I had a reservation in 2462 Mandor Superfast Train on 29 Jun 09 from Kuchaman City to Delhi Cantt. I reserved my seat few days before my journey and its shows Waiting 13 and on the date of journey its confirmed S2 Seat No. 14. that is confirmed by Ticket Checker Mr. Choudhary in the same Train. The problem is created when I found that my Berth is alloted to some one else by the Incharge of Coach S2, TC Ashok Chand. when I complained him, I found drunked and used to abuse language with me and not giving my alloted Berth or any other Seat. I informed to other TC but no buddy can help me, more than half of journey I traveled without Seat after having a Reservation.
                                Please take some strict action.

                                  DEAR SIR,

                                  I HAVE TRAVELLED TO VIZAG ON 1ST JULY TO VISAKHAPATNAM BY GODAVARI EXPRESS. THE BERTH ALLOTTED TO ME WAS SIDE UPPER. AFTER THE RAILWAYS INTRODUCTED THE THREE BERTHS ON THE SIDE IT HAS BECOME A NITMARE FOR THE PASSENGERS TO TRAVEL BY TRAIN IN THESE BERTHS. THEY ARE HIGHLY INCONVENIENT AND PEOPLE ARE FALLING SICK AFTER TRAVELLING. AFTER THE DECISION NOT TO ALLOT THE SIDE MIDDLE BERTHS THEY HAVE NOT READJUSTED SIDE UPPER BERTH HEIGHT, WHICH IS THE SAME AS THAT OF THE ERALIER SITUATION. THE TC'S ARE ENJOYING THE MONEY BY ALLOTING THE SIDE MIDDLE BERTHS TO THE PASSENGERS SINCE THEY WERE NOT ALLOTED BY THE RESERVATION SYSTEM.

                                  THE AUTHORITIES SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS AND THEY SHOULD PRACTICALLY PHYSICALLY TRAVEL AND THEN TAKE ON SUCH DECISIONS.

                                  Sub : Requesting you to avoid the inconvenience with Ticket less Travelers in 2711, 2712
                                  Pinakini Super Fast Express.

                                  Sir,

                                  We are Traveling frequently from various locations through Pinakini. There are so many laborers are traveling without tickets or seasons from Bapatla and Chirala in last Six of 2711 Like that first six bogies of 2712. They are creating so much inconvenience to travelers like THEFTS valuable items in bags, SMOKING, DRINKING, some once PLAYING CARDS, behaving like ROWDIES with officials. They are occupying seats even senior citizens, pregnant ladies and who have kids, they are not offering seats, if any body ask they may create rupture and abusing.

                                  Number of times we observed these things in Pinakini. Inspite of TCs may check properly, but next day onwards it will be in same like past. Once visit Pinakini, and observe that above said inconvenience with laborers in both trips of it.

                                  Railways losing so much REVUNUE due to these kind of people traveling without tickets. Please Save Railways and us for safe journey.

                                  In Pinakini last compartment was alloted to ladies only from tenali to ongoe. but its is not effecting constantly, that too half of the bogie is enough. remaining part is going empty. too croud we are facing. kildly take reasonable dessision abtout ladies compartment.

                                  Arround three times we submitted complaint. but nothing action is there from your department.
                                  Finally we are dicided to proceed through Print & Visual Media. Inspite of we may complaint to Station Masters and RPF at Ongole Chirala and Bapatla, atleast they are not hearing what we said. Number of time we asked complaint letter head. but no response from SMs

                                  Hence we are requesting you to kindly take necessary action as early as possible to prevent inconvenience, to save Rly’s Revenue and travelers. Kindly arrange sufficient TCs, RPF & GRPF regularly. Concentrate particularly at Bapatla and Chirala Stations.

                                    With due respect i would like to take your attention in the Interim Rail Budget 2009-10 announced on 13.02.09. In this rail budget two trains allotted to Newly started sitamarhi station these are sitamarhi-patna (link service daily) and sitamarhi - delhi (garib rath) and one extention of train no.3155/3156 (mithilanchal exp) from darbhanga to sitamarhi.

                                    But in the final rail budget announced on 03.07.09 no train allotted to sitamarhi. Sitamarhi has no direct train for kolkata. They have to reach darbhanga and muzaffarpur to catch the trains. Almost 60 % people come from sitamarhi area. They badly need this train with increased date of running.

                                    What is the meaning to start a new station when The Railway don't think to run express trains on this route.

                                    I strongly agree with the views expressed by Shri Murari Jee, Shri Madhav Anand Jee and Shri Anil Chauhan Jee.
                                    Its not fair to negelect Sitamarhi for so long time. By giving attention to Sitamarhi, the Railways will do great service and will also earn better revenue.
                                    Darbhanga Puri Express - 8420, should be extended to Sitamarhi and should be made daily train from the Weekly Train. It will help the people to easily travel to the Orissa and South India.
                                    With hope that the Ministry of Railway will take up the issues seriously,

                                    This is happen because now Mamta Banejee in now Railway Minister. Please immediate start all above mentioned tarains and alsom please add new trains from Sitamarhi to Mumbai, Chennai, Banglore etc..

                                      Who is responsible for allowing these communters. Photograph is taken from a daily newspaper.
                                      I aws travelling fron Delhi to New oochbeher on 29.11.09 by North East Express. I observed the express train was only a express by name, not in status. Especially in Bihar peoples used this train as their local train, we do not have to argue with them, because they were local & having several small group enters in to the reserved coaches. I had a kid of 1 year with my journey. We could not seated comfortable in the coach, our seat was requested to share by the local passengers, after every 10-15 minutes they need to spite, by chewing Pan or Tobacco, for this they open window frequently. My Kids fallen sick because of Running wind in the M/o November end. When will these people realise that they are getting headache of few peoples because of their behaviour? Is their any educated peoples is this area so they can teach their neighbour.
                                      I also was returning from New Jalpaiguri on 12.12.09 by a special train. The train was routed Khagaria - Samastipur- Muzaffarpur - Moradabad - Delhi Route. I Found The train was running panctual up to Samastipur after that the train was forcefully stopped at different stations by pulling chain. I was informed by the local pasengers that this is common practice in This route. Wah! keya Baat hay! Again I need say is their any Good Bihari who can understand the pain of Railway pasenger?
