my name is mantha nanavati and i have irctc account in railway for booking online tickets and i want to complained that i booked one ticket of Rs 1, 211/- and after that i cancelled it and so you had deducted of Rs. 969/- or nearer amount of Rs. 1, 000/- and only refund of Rs. 222/- so regarding any technical mistake or else, i want to correct of my refund money and my prn no was PNR[protected] so please do need ful and give me correct refund. and also i previously mailed you on 25th june but no answer from your side so what can i do for that? i had mailed two times but still no reply. so please do need ful

Online Ticket Reservation — Cancellation Refund

Hi,
I booked and cancelled around 16 tickets online last month(1/8/2009)
The Cancellation guidelines read , the amount refund will happen within one month to the same credit card amount.
It's more than a month now , I haven't received my refund amount.
The Online Reservation doesn't have contact number/mail id to enquire.

Is there any contact number/person whom I can escalate this issue?

I had send an e-mail regarding delay in refunding the money of my two tickets which were cancelled. But the money was refunded for only one ticket.The transaction id for the other ticket is [protected], the PNR no is [protected] & the refund amount is Rs.124 .The ticket was canceeled on 26/05/10.kindly do the needful.

I had filed a TDR dt.18 May 2010, Ref. No.ekt [protected] & Transaction ID [protected] for PNR No. [protected] ( YPR To VSKP) Train No.2864 dt.09/05/2010 , Ticket Fare of Rs.747/-.The journey was cancelled due to the late arrival of the train. (More than 03 hours).There is no response till date from your side. Please do the needful immediately,

Railways — REGARDING REFUNDS

I have taken a ticket on[protected] from Trichy fort counter @ 13.34 hrs.

The day of depature wen i checked only one was confirmed and 2 pass tickets were waitlisted dropped ,dereafter approached the TTE and got 1 ticket confirmed and he told me that will issue a LCC(Lower Class Certificate) for refunds . and later on he issued the LCC no 0451860 and he told after 12 hrs of the train arrival you can collect the refund but the people from reservations were making me roam around asif the were punishing me .on 5th-06-2011 i was been to the annanagar reservation counter they refused me and told to go and get the id proff of the passenger later went and got the documents they required but still they again sent me saying that this can be done only @ Egmore .again went to Egmore all the way in the sun .there without any courtesy these people again told tomorrow you go to central after standing in the que for 2 hrs wth 50 ppl .again on 06th -06-2011went to Central reservation standing que for an hr they told to go and meet the reservation supervisor .dere he right royally told this cannot be done her you need to go to ACM office this is not the right place so i request you to look into it and take the action required

Dear Sir,
I tried to book a ticket on 28-01-12 for my mother(Smt.Kamla Rani, age-62 years) from kalka to shimla for Shivalik Delux through net.The amount of Rs.183 was deducted from my AXIS Bank debit card but did not receive any ticket.I thought that I will receive back money in my account but did not get it till now nor any message in this regard.please arrange to refund the money back at the earliest.

    railway me sare aam maa aur behno ka apmaan kiya jata hai..lafango ke dwara. jo iske against me aawaaz utha te hai unki jabardast pitaai bhi ho jati hai. in lafango ke darr se pure train ke kisi bhi boggy ka koi bhi insaan virodh nahi karta. jo bhi loacals daily travel karte hai unhone apni jabardast unity bana ke rakhi hai..parso hi jab mai patna se gaya "Ranchi-Hatia express" se jaa raha tha toh...MASAUDHI junction ke liye jane wale sare log mujhe ek numbr ke kamine nazar aaye..jis boggy me mai baitha tha...usme bhi kareeb 25- 30 log jabardasti reservation boggy me ghus gaye..mai bhi galat tha kyun ki mai bhi reservetion boggy me ghus gaya tha..par mai jis birth pe baitha tha woh khali tha...lekin baki sare lafange sabhi ko jabardasti dara-dhamka kar utha diya aur baith gaye. kya mahila aur kya bacchi aur kya jawaan aur kya buddhe log..inhone sabko utha diya. aisa lag raha tha ki inka aatank sab jaantey hain..isliye kisi ne aawaaz nahi uthayi. it was a really ridiculous situation inside. they were speaking in silly languages. sari MAA aur behne baithi thi aur wahin par woh log "madarchod" aur "behanchod" ya "lauda" jaise words apne talking me use kar rahe the.     ye tha jawab un logo ka jinko help karna chahiye tha. jab unka stoppge aaya toh sare larkey jaan boojh kar usi larki ke paas khade ho gaye aur jabardast comment aur mazaak karne lage. ek baar phir usi buddhe ne kaha.."are babu aage bado tumhara station aa gaya hai..tumhari bhi maa -behan hai..aisa kyun kar rahe ho?" magar kaun sunta hai..anth me us buddhe se behas start ho gayi..buddhe ne kaha ki "ek railway police aa jayega na toh tum logo ko samjha dega". tab woh log aur bhi buri tarah gali bakne lage "bualo saaale police ko..bulao crpf ko aur railway police ko ..dekhtey hai kaun kya karta hai..?" tabhi do larkey us buddhe ko maarne ke liye lapka..."maaro saala ye madarchod buddhe ko" tabhi usi ke ek larkey ne use rok liya...staion aa chuki thi aur woh log utar gaye...jaise hi woh log gaye aur train phir start huyi ...sab logo ne jaise raahat ki saans li.. itna toh saaf ho gaye ki itne door ki doori kisi narak se kam nahi thi ..ek dam aataank ke saaye me the sab log. jab jehanabaad bhi cross k ar gaya tab maine dekha ki RPF ke jawaan pata nahi kahan se nazar aane lage aur TTE bhi..is se saaf pata chalta hai ki locals ko har kisi ka support hai..police ka bhi aur TTE ka bhi.
    kahan hai raiway me safety ki guarantee dene wale log? railway ki police garibo se unke baggage par 2 - 3 ruppayye lene ke liye hai? aur TTE without ticket walo ko pakad ke (sirf dehati moorkhon se) paisa kamane ke liye hoti hai.
    kyun nahi RPF ki team saade dress me boggy ke andar baith thi hai? kyun nahi inko pakad ke jabardast pitaai ki jati hai? kyun nahi koi aisa numbr public ko diya jaye ya usi train me sare boggies me chhote chhote poster laga diye jaye ..jis par help line number ho taki train ke sab se piche wali boggy me baithe RPF ke jawaan ko chalti train me bhi inform kiya ja sake ki kis boggy me kaise log hai? aur help maaanga jaye...aakhir chalti train me kaise inform kiya jaye ki kisi ke behan ki ijjaat looti ja rahi hai? railway ne ek bhi no. diya hai? aur agar hum inform bhi kare toh woh kaise help karenge

    n at last ..Swami RAMDEV kehte hai..ki " bure logo me unity hoti hai par sharif logo me nahi" kam se kam us boggy me 150 log sharif honge toh sirf 20 badmash loafer the par un me unity thi aur sharif sab dekh rahe the..baad me pata chal ki woh maa aur beti isi buddhe ke sath thi.
    railway ke police hijdaa hai...aur pura railway department bhi..mai railway department se kehta hu " plz call me..mujhe RPF ke jawaan aur woh power de do..mai sirf 2 dino me pura situation change kar ke dikha dunga..chun chun ke maarunga ..sab saade dress me baithenge aur pakad ke jabardast dhulaai karenge...puri planning ke sath..

    i have missed my bag in west cost express. iwas travelling from my native ottapalam to mangalore in sleeper class on 8/3/10.till mangalore bag was with after that i slept and train reached mangalore station by 4:50 am and i wake up and bag was sotlen, there were no guards or plolice for help and i am sure that it was stolen just before five minutes. after 15 minutes i saw a police man and he told that there are no chance to return back the bag.later friends told me to complint to RPF bcose i lost my identity cards and all my bank loan records and if anybody get and miss used then i will be in trouble, so i went to GRPF office they told to go and check the train bathrooms again and i and my friend went and searched whole train and there are no clues. we reported the same to the officer and he told to give the details. i want a certificate that proving that my document has lost during transit.. i approched officer again and he told that there are no inspecter avilable to register complaint and he told that to come tommorow.

    there are some limits issues...means some station limits..before some kms it will come under kasargode and after that only it will come under mangalore station. if he file case it will go first to banglore ..if fact he is not at all ready too file a case and he is confusing me and my friend . we clear that it was stolen at mangalore central but GRPF peole making many reson to escape from FIR.


    i feel very bad about our railway security system..

      We are afraid for rail enquiry system all over the North Eastern part of our country INDIA. There is no responsible person who correct the system for reply regarding Trains arrivel/departure information over phone. Staffs of N.F.Railway (specially at GUWAHATI Rly. Stn.) are iresponsible, missbehave, absent from there seats/duties, never attend enq.phones. Severl times 139 no is also inform wrong information. we wants to know whether Railway Minister or Chairman of Railway board Will take action to relief public. hope your early reply.

      wrost train running in agartala silchar, no speed, no seat, no light, no food, no AC(non working AC), no tim ing, working people who travels in this train their life makes miserable, and wishing to god for not to travel in such train under any circumstenses, it is a service for the sake of adding the conection list, nothing more than that, PLS IMPROVE IT BY GIVING ATLEAST AN EXPRESS WITH RESERVATION FACILITY..

        I am travelling with my wife and children from New dDlhi to Trichur in the above mentioned train and date in coach no. A1 berth nos. 13, 14, 15 and 16. My complaint is thet the toilets are completely unhygeinic. the floor of the coach is so unclean. the adjacent 3 tier ac coach wherein the charges are still lesser the facilities are much better. that coach is even provided with electric plug points for people to charge their mobile phones and electronics items.

        My complaint is that Indian Railways have charged huge amount for these tickets from me (Rs.8512.00) and we have not been provoded a hygenic travelling.

        Railway — Bad Conditions of AC Coaches

        Today i travlled in train number 2460 from Jalandhar to New Delhi in AC Chair Car and this turns out a usual experience of miss management of AC coaches in India. Indian railway is a profit making national enterprise where a lot is being talked about the facilities and infrastruture but this is not good to see that at grassroot level the facilities are still pathetic and not upto the level (even if i take a simplest case of non functional chairs in chair car compartments). while travelling through chair cars people pay for comfort and facilities which they are not getting. indian railway should take notice and try to improve the existing infrastruture.

          I booked online Talkal Railway ticket from Ernakulam to Nizamuddin for the journey on 26th jun.I Booked ticket 5 days ago-on the first day of talkal reservation and the first minute. Then I got waiting list 29. I understood that it is very difficult to ger confirmed Talkal ticket becaue its a drama of private booking agent and indian railway. The genuine passengers wont get a confirmed ticket.

          I checked the railway website on 26th morning and found that chart is prepared and i am under waiting list 29. The website says the ticket will be automatically canceled and refund money online to the bank account. But after the train is started my status is confirmed and i am wondered... I dont know how to catch a train which left the station!!! So i lost my money...

          Its clear that it is the cheap play of railway. they allot the tickets to agents and making money.

            On 19.06.2009 I was travelling from Gwalior to Nagpur by train no 2644 'Swarna Jayanti Express' in coach no S-2/65, 67, 68.
            My PNR no - [protected].
            I have to say with sorry that the rate of Mineral Water Bottel (1 Litre) was very high, I have to purchase from Rs.15/- By Your Authorised Vendor 'M/S Harish Tiwari' at Plateform no 1.when I asked vendor about difference in price and rate list of water bottel he MISBEHAVED and asked to complait any where, he told 'because he have to give share of it you all' . Also there were difference in Rate List and Selling Price of Biscutes. Please registered my complaint against him and do needfull, so that the travellers can not be LOOTED & give me complaint regd no for further enquary.

            Realy the service of isrtc is very badddd.
            Dear Sir,

            Realy im very much thank you for consider myself as one me is a isrtc vendor and given that oppoutunity to me for surve our nation.I will treat the passengers very well through my service of selling the foods in isrtc channels.

            Realy im assuring about my quality of food with reasonable rates and pacify every passengers.I will give the receipies with traditional taste with excellent hygienic.

            Once again i thank you for giving that great chance to serve isrtc.
            Recently I had to travel to Bengaluru for a visit to my daughter and son. I booked an on line railway ticket on 27.09.2014 at 8.04 Hrs.for Journey Date 08.10.2014 from Nagpur to Bengluru by 02682 Varanasi Mysore premium train vide PNR no. [protected]. To my surprise I had to pay fare of Rs. 2270 + surcharge Rs. 22.47 + PG Charges whereas fare was displaying as Rs. 1950. I was among the very first to book the ticket. Indian Railways being a Public service Organization is expected to gear up for Festival seasons to run more trains rather than exploiting Travelling population by taking advantage of their monopolistic position.
            Similarly I had to pay fare of Rs. 2315 + surcharge Rs. 22.47 + PG Charges for my return Journey on a ticket booked on 04.10.2014 (very first day on which booking opened) at 08.03 Hrs for Journey Date 19.10.2014 by 02681 Mysore Varanasi premium train vide PNR no. [protected].
            I don’t know if some PIL can be filed in court or not.
            On both occasion Food was Horrible and was not supplied according to Menu. Same food was supplied in Lunch and Dinner. Frequent complaints to[protected] failed to bring any results. Rather Officials responsible for addressing Complaints seems to be defending Caterer. Few photographs of kitchen is attached. Food was supplied in paper plates and catering staff refused to clean the coach. Coaches were not cleaned even once during the entire Journey. My complaint ref ID[protected] remained unattended.
            Now a public service organization is exploiting Travelling population by taking advantage of their monopolistic position. What about people women, Kids old alike, who suffered during this journey. Any way to force railways to compensate travelling population

              DEAR SIR,
              I HAVE BOOKED RAILWAY TICKET THROUGH NG PAY(MOBILE) TO
              TRAVEL IN 2 AC ON 10/06/2009.BUT I WAS MADE TO TRAVEL IN 3
              AC INSTEAD OF 2 AC BECAUSE 2 AC COACH WAS NOT ATTACHED TO
              THE TRAIN.I WAS GIVEN ACCOMODATION IN(3 AC)COACH NO. B1
              AND BERTH NO.1 AS THE BERTH NUMBER WAS REALLOCATED IN THE
              RESERVATION CHART/RAILWAY RECORDS.ORIGINALLY I WAS BOOKED IN 2AC(COACH NO.A1/BERTH NO.OOO3)WITH PNR NO.[protected]

              BUT THE TTE HAS NOT ISSUED ANY CERTIFICATE BUT HE TOLD THE PASSENGERS
              THAT HE WILL GIVE MEMO TO THE DESTINATION STATION FOR
              PASSENGERS TO CLAIM THE REFUND .
              PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT CAN BE DONE AT THIS STAGE WHEN TTE HAS NOT GIVEN ANY CERTIFICATE TO ME.HOW CAN I CLAIM REFUND?

                Hi,
                This is Suruchi Kumari from Jamshedpur .My PNR status file is attached .
                I was travelling yesterday with Chhapra Tata Kanpur (train no 8182) . As the train was late for 3 hrs., we had to wait till 2:30 am night on the platform for the arrival of the train .As there was no water at all on Jasidih junction platform, it was horrible waiting there due to hot weather.
                Other major thing is that we had a waiting ticket from Jasidih junction to Tatanagar junction with PNR no[protected] for 3 people .It was confirmed on the date of journey .PNR status is attached.
                As the train arrived we searched for the coach no EX1 .We didn't able to find it as there was none .However we rushed in and waited in front of the gate for the Ticket collector to come . but no one came to check the ticket and to provide us seats.
                After that at 4 am I phoned my brother to check the status once again .and he suggested me meet the TTE on the next halt . As we reached Asonsole junction at around 4:30 am . I searched for TTE and found him and asked for seats .And he replied "apko seat nahi mili, ye kaise ho sakta hai ."
                and he told us to sit in S8 coach with our luggage . then I went to ask for births then he told us to sit between Birth nos 17-22.
                and finally got seat at Asonsole junction at 5 am .
                It was a bad night for me and my parents .
                Please reply as soon as on this matter .

                  My parents who traveled from Chennai Central to Bangalore on 6th june 2009 in the Bangalore Express train no.2657 lost a pouch containing around 30 grams og gold jewellery.
                  My mother was carrying this blue colored pouch within her handbag.My parents were waiting for the train and remembers seeing the pouch in the handbag, after waiting for around 20 minutes when the train arrived and they got into the train, she found that a zip of the hand bag was partially open and the pouch was missing.

                    On 30.03.2009 at 17:44 Secunderabad Reservation Counter, I made a Reservation for two Seats requesting for lower births (for ladies and small children sake) to bring my sister from Parbhani to Hyderabad Deccan. Lower Birth Numbers 33 and 36 are allotted in S2 Sleeper Class Reservation Coach.

                    Subsequently, on 13.04.2005 around 8:30 p.m. with children and my sister I entered into the S2 Reservation coach. But I see the numbers 33 and 36 are not Lower Birth seats, which is impossible for us to travel with children and ladies in night. Then I requested other passengers to adjust the Lower Births nobody agreed to give the Lower Births. After Some time Ticket Collector arrived and I asked him to adjust the Lower Births, he also suggested to request for other Passengers. But we argued with him that nobody is agreeing to give the Lower Births. After some time he was written S2 73, 74 on the ticket. Upto that time we were in standing position with children, since all births passengers are sleeping in night time. We went to S2 73, 74 with Luggage and Children which is difficult task. There one seat is Lower Birth and another is Middle Birth. Another Lower Birth Passenger refused to give his Lower Birth. After more begging to him he given the Lower Birth.

                    But, those seats also very near to Toilets and children was suffered a lot with allergenic bad smell. They were not slept for the whole night, My sister and myself not slept total night. After completion of journey even today also we are fearing to travel in Train.

                    In this connection, I put this situation in front of you that your poor service in allocating Reservation seats leads us to face the Severe inconvenience s in whole night with small children and ladies. Even though I reserved the seats before 15 Days with Lower Births. A Major public Transporting system in India Reserving the seats in this manner may leads to lose its honesty and reputation.

                    Hence, I request you to pay the negotiable compensation towards the severe inconvenience which we faced on that night.

                    For superfast trains there are little number of coaches General Category. How the people will sit, by having little number of Seats. Its the request of lakhs of people you know, because it is very dangerous to go like that having little coaches, seats.
                    The Railway Official will go or sit in the coaches. The seats, coaches having full of dirt. It is one of Sin to the Railway.
                    So i kindly requesting you to arrange Many Coaches, like Reservation Coaches.
                    In the General Compartments the people sit on any place, what they get, some times, not only some times many, so many times people are hanging to the doors. Like City Buses, but it is very dangerous Na.

                    Many people are die while the Journey like this. The Vendors in the coaches will theft many items. they are the not recognized one. so dont allow the private vendors into the coaches.
                    Please provide Many general coaches, like reservation coaches. the people who will be travel in the General Coach, they are not the MAD PEOPLE. The Railway is Treating like MAD PEOPLE. WHO ARE IN THE COACHES, GENERAL. THEY ARE CHARGING THE CHARGE FROM US. BUT THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING SEATS. WHY IT IS HAPPENING LIKE THIS. IT MUST BE SERIOUS TO SAY. PLEASE THE OFFICIAL OR UN OFFICIAL fight against this SYSTEM.WE WANT THE SEATS, WE ARE PURCHASING TICKETS. YOU HAS TO PROVIDE SEATS.

                      my two brothers name dhirendra tiwari and rupesh tiwari travelling on the date 20th of june from varanasi to jammu . they have there confirm ticket with birth no. S/9- 78 and 79. but for the same that coach have only 72 birth and by this way passenger from 73 to 79 are travelling without there confirm birth. when they go to tte for this he say iske liye railway prasasan jimmedar hai mai kuch bhi nahi kar sakta. from then I call to public relation officer on this no [protected] and they give me the no of lucknow drm [protected] but the lucknow drm didnt receive the phone. after that then i call to comercial officer on this no [protected] and the person give the qick response and he direct talk to tte for this and the tte give only one birth for three hours only. after that 3 rpf man come to our alloted birth and say that this birth are reserve for rpf person only. train no.2355, pnr no.                         This is regarding the wrong arrival time information of Train number-2801 dated 21st June'2009. The website and 139 showed that the train will arrive 50 minutes late at BOKARO STEEL CITY. When the passenger reached the station, they all got surprised that the train already left the station at 10:10 am instead of 10:55.

                        The money spent on the ticket is all at loss with tremendous losses incurred aftermath. The passengers should atleast get their money back with emicable compensation.

                        I had planned to travel by 2561 S Senani Exp on 12.11.2010.
                        On checkin train status at 04:38Hrs on 139 at allahabad it informed that train has departed already n has no delay, on reaching station board was displaying train 45min late, on 139 it told that train is late by 2hrs09mins.
                        Due to this wrong hnformation i alongwith my family suffeqed a kot both physically and mentally.

                        now,who will be responsible for that.my sbi po exam was on 24th july 2011 in asansol.we had suffered lots on that day due to your departmental fault ,and due to this i was mentaly and physicaly depressed.by facing lots of problem i reached asansol on 23 rd july 2011 at 9pm. i want compensation for this .

                        on 22nd july i had already given written complain about this at muzaffarpur station.but official incharge refuse to sign on that.

                          The services provided in Rajdhani Express is very poor. I was traveling from New Delhi to Howrah in HWH Rajdhani Express on 31st dec'09. What I found that the staffs of IRCTC were serving us the foods and beverages were of very poor qualities. The dinner they provide us was very cold foods and were also in a state of not taking as a meal. They don't even clean the coaches for single time during the whole journey and the coach was full of wastes and dirts. it was an awesome journey experience for me.

                            WHEN I APPROACHED TO COUTER NO 924 AT 19:20 HRS, ON 16 JUN THE COUNTER CLERK (MR. AVATAR SINGH AS WAS TOLD BY THE STAFF) REFUSED TO DO THE RESERVATION DONE IN THE AUTHOURISED CLASS AGAINST RETURN SOLDIER TICKET PNR NO. [protected] IN RAJDHANI EXP. FROM PATNA JN. TO NEW DELHI. AND WHEN WE INSISTED HE ASKED A BRIBE OF AMOUNT OF 100 RS. FOR THE RESERVATION OF TICKET. I HAD ALSO APPROACHED TO THE CHIEF RESERVATION SUPERVISOR (NAMED CRS MR.INDERJEET SINGH & MR. AVATAR SINGH)IN THIS REGARD BUT HE CORROBORATED THE BOOKING CLERK AND ABUSED ME IN LOCAL LANGUAGE. IT IS FOR YOUR INFORMATION THAT AMOUNT FOR THE REQUESTED RESERVATION HAS ALREADY BEEN VOUCHED BY THE RAILWAY THROUGH THE SAID RETURN TICKET.

                            Indian Railways — Demanding for bribe

                            Dear sir,

                            Had purchased a 2nd class ticket at villivakkam(chennai) station Destination ( villivakkam to vijayawad) for pinagini exp,
                            form vilivakkam station i got a local train but unfortunatally got in to 1st class, ticket check came near Basin Bridge station and asked me the ticket, where i had showm the ticket ie the ticket no is[protected] from villivakkam to vijayawada,
                            she said that u should not get into first class pay Rs 500/-
                            at that time i am having 100/- only, she told me that i[censored]r not having money u have to come to court and pay 2000/-, she had taken me near RPF office and told them that i am not ready to pay the amt, , they had suggested to talk to lady only,

                            She came near me and asking to give 200/- without fine, i said that i am having only 100/-, i will give u 100/- write fine, then she worte fine or Rs 100/- for carrying excus lugguage and my recepit No is 567613(local)

                            i want to know the fine for this case,

                            and also pls take necessary action on that ticket collecter
                            What actions taken against all these complaints given by consumers??

                            Indian Railways — Bribe demand

                            Dear Sir,

                            I wish to bring to your kind knowledge that one of the staffs(TT) Sh O.P. Srivastava serving in route from Gorakhpur to Lucknow is demanding unauthorized money from passengers. And he has made his right to do so.

                            From several cases infront of my eyes while undertaking journey from Gorakhpur to Lucknow (by Gorakhpur-Lucknow intercity on 13.08.2010), I wish to describe my case to you where he thretened me to throw out of train and even put in jail, and then demanded for Rs. 500. My fault was only that I was carrying an e-ticket along with a photo I card in which my adress was given of my village.

                            Also, he collected money from several other passengers of the same coach. And after every collection he stated that this all is not mine, rather it is all demanded from our management and ministers and I am only a small chain link of this system.

                            These kind of people do all the damage to the image and interest of the system and government. And they should be enquired and scrutinized by any outside agency or any senior officer of Railways to help to believe sufferrers like me that we are trying to filter out our system for improvement.

                            Indian Railways — BRIBE

                            As per the rules every technical staff has to be at least transferred once from his joining place to elsewhere, during his entire service period.
                            But Mr.Pradeep Sinha, a staff of Tikiapara carshed, Howrah, had never been transferred. He is going to retire on 31st Oct.10. Whenever the questions of posting to different places came, he stopped that by paying bribe to seniors.
                            The said incident is ultimately loosing the reputations of Railways and morale of fellow employees.

                              I had booked my ticket via internet from Satna to new Delhi under the Tatkal quota for 31/5/09 in Mahakaushal Express (Train no. 2189). I had a confirmed reservation (Seat no. 11 in B2 coach)with PNR no. [protected]. The confirmation of electronic reservation slip with the same details as above was sent to my email id as well.

                              On 31/5/09, when I reached Satna station to board the train, I learned that the train was 6-7 hrs late and is expected at 2am. It was such a disgusting experience to spend the night at the railway station waiting for your train!!

                              Finally at around 3am the train arrived. I occupied my seat. However when the Ticket Controller (TC of the 3rd AC, Mahakausal Express) checked my ticket, he raised objection that the PNR no. in the eticket and his chart does not match (instead of 6, it was 0 in the chart). Except this anomaly all the other details including name was correct. I suggested that it could probably be a printing error in the chart, as the railway inquiry also confirmed the validity of my PNR no. To my utter shock, the TC started threatening me with dire consequences including imprisonment and started using abusive, foul language. He demanded money from me if I wish to continue my travel in the same train. When I refused, he forced me out of the AC cabin and told me to deboard at the next station. It was only with the help of fellow passengers and my repeated protests, the TC allowed me inside with a fine. When I asked for his name, he refused to disclose.

                              I reached Delhi 6 hours behind scheduled. I was totally shaken and shocked by the harrassment meted against me. I was subject to humiliation and mental torture for no fault of mine. I had a valid eticket taken from the authorized railway site which was confirmed. Instead of being responsive to problems, the said railway official started a campaign of harrassment against apparently for illegal gratification under the clout of his authority and my helplessness.

                              With this bitter experience I have completely lost faith in the services offered by railways and I feel that it is being used as a easy tool for harrassing passengers

                              I have a similar problem which I want to take corrective action. In my case the TTE forced me to pay first AC fare and made me travel in third Ac and did not even give me a tcket. Which means he pocketed the money.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I am a regular traveller from PIMPRI to PUNE through LOCAL. The local narmally takes 25- 30 mins to cover the distance from PIMPRI to PUNE Junction.

                                I take the 8.32 local coming from LONAVALA. Now a days there is no fix timining of the local.

                                The local is supposed to reach PIMPRI Railway station on 8.32 but most of the time it is late. It is stopped at KIRKEE for the INDRAYANI EXPRESS to pass for about 15-20 mins. Some times it also stops at SHIVAJINAGAR for long time.

                                It takes a halt for signal of about 10-15 mins just before reaching PUNE JUNCTION. This journey of 25-30 mins goes more then 50 mins.
                                There are people travelling for their office who are late regurlarly including me.
                                In the evening also the situation is same. The local which is suppose to leave PUNE JUNCTION on 7, reaches the station at 7 - 7.10 which then in turn invites more passengers then it should resulting in some accidents.

                                Also out of 4 only 2 locals have 12 racks and rest have 9 racks. If the local is late or cancelled no announcement is done.

                                Request you to look in the matter for better TRAVELLING EXPERIENCE.

                                    Dear SIR,

                                    My Self Amit Kumar Kulshrestha, From Jhansi. I was Booked Ticket in 14/06/09 From Jhansi To Jammutavi in 6031 Andaman Express. My Journey Date is 18/06/09. My Travel Date is 18/06/09. My PNR No is [protected], [protected]. When I was Booked Ticket In Andaman Express the My Waiting List is W/L 127 To W/L 136. Daily i was Check My PNR Status so he is down in slowly-slowly. when In 17/06/09 night in 8.00 Pm i was Check My PNR No, i see that My Waiting List is W/L 87 To W/L 96. and Chart is Prepared. when Tomaroww (18/06/09) Moarning I was Contact To Chief Resarvation Supervisor Office, He Tell me very Shocking News That Jhansi Have No kota In This Train. When i was asking that when Jhansi have no kota in this train then why we got a waiting large waiting, So he tell me that this is depand on Chennai Station. So i want to know that When in 6031 Andaman Express Kota is not in Jhansi so in what base Indian Railway got me waiting.

                                    ramganj mandi se me davendra singh .sir mera ghar railway colony me hai ghar ke bahar gadi kadi kar ke ghar me gaya.bahar aane par dekne par gadi parking me kadi thi .parking walo se punch ne par wah log gali galoch krne lage or 150 rupay le liay rasid magne par rasid nahi di.sir mera ghar to railway colony me hi hai agar ghar ke bahar gadi kadi nahi karunga to phir kaha par kadi karu

                                      Dear Sir(s),

                                      My friend Mr Muthukumar, has booked an Air Cooler for me from Jhansi Railway Parcel office vide Parcel Way Bill No.B-935248 dated 03 June 09 to Chennai. But even after 15 days the cooler has not been delivered at Chennai. We visited threee time with in a Week. We purchased that cooler for Summer season and not for rainy season. The soldiers who are serving for the nation are being cheated in Jhansi railway statioin for somany years. When they approach for booking their luggage at the time of their transfer, they are being cheated mercilessly for bribe to book thier luggage. I was also one of the victim for the same. I also served for seven year at Jhansi. Further it is the very poor service of the Indian Railyway. Please kindly look into the matter.

                                        Sub : “Claim for Refund of fare of PNR –[protected] and[protected] ”

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        The Ticket Deposit Receipt (TDR) on prepage was issued on cancellation of the above mentioned tickets at Bhopal Railway Station on 16 Jun 08 for Rs 5, 475.00. The journey was cancelled because the I - ticket was not confirmed. The application for refund of fare along with the Ticket Deposit Receipt was sent to your office by Govt speed post on 29 Jun 08.

                                        It is a matter of great disappointment that in spite of several reminders, the claim is not yet settled in a time span of 1 Year. Many reminders were give to the Bhopal office and My representative has also visited the Jabalpur office which has served no purpose.

                                        I seek your immediate reply failing which, I may be constrained to take harsh steps with Ombudsman / under consumer forum. I therefore request you to kindly settle the claim and issue the cheque along with the interest for the said period at your earliest.

                                        I booked my railway reservation ticket at PUNE from suvidha center counter for TYTP{TRIUPATI} return ticket for pune to tpty and tpty to pune on 08/02/2010 and return at 12/02/2010. The details of ticket are as follows. return PNR no is as

                                        sleeper class TOTAL Amount Rs.4276.00 but due to cancellation ot train and i have nat been informed by any o[censored]r officers or not by calling or through by sms or pone calling.beasuse o[censored]r mistake i have fase many problem and beause o[censored]r not imforming i have to canclle my trip. my journey and try and please refund my full money other wies i have to take a leagle action on u.and i have been told by youe orricers that to take refund. but when i went to refund ther did not entertened me on 14/ 02/2010.
                                        so plz refund me sir.
                                        Please refund my ticket and get me refund of my ticket amount as per railway rules.
