MATTER MOST URGENT SIRDear sir, I Sethumadhavan traveled on 27/5/09 to nagpur bording from Palghat and reach on 28/5/09 around 8.30pm ang getdown from train. and notice amissing a aiarbag after reaching at residence and return to station for enquiry the train left the platform. and lodged a complaint at railway police station.  I enquire at delhi railway police station also thru friends but till date not traced the bag.Now I request you to kindly provide tele/address of the passengers next to our berth i.e. Coach No. S-7 and Bearth No. 49 a lady up delhi and Bearth No. 55  a militrary man he also upto delhi. if get the tlephone no. or address from booking requsition form in railway records. then I will conduct direct to the above persons if any one seen the bag or any one pick the bag and handover any railway police statinon.The Bag containing cloths new and used, One handycam Panasonic make with recoded casset from Kerala and balank cassete + Battery, USB code with bag black colour, 7 packets pappad, New loungis 2 nos + 2 napkin purchased from Ambalapara in Kerala with shops carry bag.Sir please arrage the conduct nos or any other source to get the details from railway.Thanking you, SETHUMADHAVAN C.K. 77 GANDHINAGARNAGPUR[protected]

    My mother (75) was to board Hapa express on 31 May 2009 with my sister-in-law (40) and her two kids. They were travelling to Jamnagar and boarding the train at New Delhi Station. My sister-in-law was carrring some money and travel ticket and keys in her hand bag. The train was to arrive from Jammu and rolled in about 30 mins late. Just before they were to board the train, Her hand bag got picked in which she lost Rs 600, ticket and keys to the baggage.
    Now, even after providing the identity proof, they had to buy another ticket withrowed panelty with money borrowed from fellow passengers.
    Is it not the responsibility of the Railways provide securuty to the passengers. And if such a thing has happened, shouls they not have a human face and permit them to travel with notional charge.
    There was no security person available at the platform. Ticket cost was Rs 1350.00 but TTE charged them Rs 1750.00 is not it adding insult to enjury. 24 Hrs helpline at [protected] did not work.
    Should not the Railways refund the money charged??

      Myself and my husband were traveling in Chennai-Kaveri Express Train No. 6221 from chennai to Bangalore on May 1, 2009. It was a reservation compartment in which our seat numbers 52 and 53 middle berth in S9. We reached Bangalore at about 4:10 a.m. and found our grey-colored VIP suitcase with green color military cloth cover missing. It contained about 81 grams of gold, clothes and miscellaneous things. The suitcase was kept below the lower berth on the rear side which was not easily visible. It was instructed by one of the copassengers to be kept there since the suitcase was quite heavy and big. The copassenger also kept his luggages beside ours. We were awake till 3:30 in the morning and fell asleep after that and woke up only in Bangalore City Railway Station at around 4:10. While gathering our belongings, we found our suitcase to be missing and the copassenger was also not there, and we do not know where he got down. Imediately, we lodged a complaint against theft in Bangalore CIty Railway Police Station in Platform No.6. We were directed to submit one more complaint in Cotonment Railway Station Bangalore since the suitcase may have been stolen between 3:30 and 4:10 period in which train passes through contonment to city station. Therefore we filed an FIR in contonment railway station also on May 3, 2009. We have also specified in the complaint that we are suspicious about our copassenger who instructed us to place the suitcase below the lower berth. He is aged about 40 to 45 years and having fair complexion. He looks like a north indian and was speaking only Hindi and English very rarely. His height may be about 5 feet 3 inches approximately and moderately built.

      Following are the details of the things lost,
      1. One long gold chain (Haram) with green enamel of 27 grams.
      2. One plain necklace of 27 grams.
      3. One Designed Bangle of 16 grams.
      4. One pair of ear hangings with 4 pearls and pink stones 6 grams.
      5. One pair of ear studs with red stone 3 grams.
      6. One baby finger ring with green stone of 1 gram.
      7. One finger ring with 4 pearls and 1 pink stone of 3 grams.
      8. Two Designer sarees (light green and light pink)
      9. One ordinary dark green with white flower saree.
      10. Dark violet with mustard colored border silk cotton saree.
      11. Two nighties (Dark violet and white).
      12. One orange top and green bottom churidar.
      13. Four inskirts and miscellaneous.

      I request the concerned authorities to kindly take necessary action against this case and please retrieve the same.

        exterday my brother (familly) going to hyd. by nzb express (vsp to hyd ) . he is reserved my bother and my sisterlla and my brother son, reservation avilbul at SE COACH



        my brother son name change in chart, iam not observe the ticket at the resrevation time .tt take fine 500 rupess . iam correctly preparied reservation farm, but tiket and chart not correct the name and age .

        so please the claim deatils and complaint details .

          I would like to complaint against irctc service for not responding for email regarding refund of cancelled e-tickets. Due to thier poor service my refund amount is not yet recieved, i am not able to trace the refund amount. In case it is refunded, then there is no proof on agent irctc login on cancelled ticket history...

While asking refund of this ticket with agent he is not aware of this refund details.. he checked his irctc login, there is no entry on cancelled ticket. So please let me know weather this refund amount was credited back to agent account or when it will be credited.. so that i can follow up with agent for my refund amount.

          Railway e tickets — Refund of e ticket cancellation

          Sir, I had cancelled my 2 etickets, PNR No-[protected] & [protected], on 10/03/09, the tickets of journey on 04/04/09 & 14/03/09 respectively. But the amount is not yet credited back to my bank a/c till yet, on the evening of 12/03/09. Please have it be done as soon as possible.
          Dear Sir,
          I have purchased the ticket having PNR no [protected] and [protected] from your agent Mahhotra Consultancy 18/2 old Rajinder Nagar New Delhi

          Your Agent has over charged me for the booking of the same

          He has charged me Rs 150/- for 3 tickets for AC in the same ticket and Rs 90/- for non A/C ticket
          When I objected he has told me that this is what every body charges and refuses to take the charges as per the rules laid down by IRCTC.
          He has also told me to complain against him and nothing will happen to him. Instead he told me that I will be wasting time and money with no results. No body from IRTC can do any thing to him.
          I have taken the bill from him as he has charged me. Copy of the same can be made available.
          As per the rules laid down by you in clause no 10 enclosed for your reference.
          10. The service charges to be realized by these agencies from the customers in addition to IRCTC service charges given in Para 8 as above will be Rs. 10/- per ticket in case of 2nd class and sleeper class, while it will be Rs. 20/- per ticket for classes higher than second / sleeper class(inclusive of service tax).

          Kindly help me get the money refunded and action taken on the defaulter.

          Dear Sir,

          I hd also gone through the same problem.

          I had booked a ticket from New Delhi to Pune for 15th of July 09. PNR No. [protected]
          I had booked the ticket in Tatkal Quota and as such the total charge was Rs 570.
          But the agent charged me Rs.670, saying that his commission is Rs 100, whereas according to rule it is Rs 20. I am a student and every penny means a lot to me. Please help me to get my money back. I have the receipt of payment.

Mr. G.P.Mewari ( TTE ) Ex-Jabalpur to Allahabad boarded the train & extended two tickets Ex Asansol to Howrah vide BPT No. G520239 & showed his inability to split the tickets. Next Mr. R.K.Gupta (TTE ) Ex- Allahabad to Mugalsarai said he was on a short route & asked us to get it done by running staff. Ex. Mugalsarai, Mr. Ghosh/ Mr. Mishra ( Ex. Mugalsarai to Howrah ) Splited our tickets vide BPT No. M285634/35 at Mugalsarai at mid-night.

            Sir, we strongly regret to state that the running train staff either not aware of the railway rules & regulation or they simply refuse to co-operate with passengers.

            Just for a simple procedure we had to run from person to person had to be awake till mid-night to get our request full filled

            We therefore request you to kindly look into the matter & take action against the above mentioned Train Running Staff (TTE ) under intimation to us so that this kind of deal is not repeated again & a bonafied Passanger can avail all the facility provided by Railways Smoothly.

            Respected Mamata Ji,

            I had booked my ticket from New Cooch Behar to New Delhi PNR No : [protected]. Due to some unavoidable situation I could not board the train from New Cooch Behar and boarded the train from the very next station New Jalpaiguri.

            Surprisingly after entering the train I found that my seat/berth was allotted to some other passenger and TS misbehaved with us and started arguing. He also threatened us stating that I have to adjust in one seat. Over and above that he was referring that according to Railway rules we can be penalised for travelling without ticket.

            I’m disappointed with the attitude of the TS Mr. P Sangwan showed to us. In our country we believe “atithi devo bawah” and don’t practice it.

            Kindly look into and ensure such behaviour is not repeated by railway staff with passengers.

              I have booked my luggage via railways while travelling from ABU Road to NJP on 17 May 2009. At the time of booking the loading staff asked me to pay them some amount as kharcha pani to load my luggage to which I said NO. Now my luggage has not reached NJP till today(24 May 2009). On enquiry via my friend it seems my luggage has not been boarded at ABU ROAD station itself. As I have brought my family at new station I am in great agony as I have to make way without any luggage ( I came here on posting).

                actully what happend i was booking tatkal E ticket on irctc as per railway rulse we can book tikcet after 8.00 am . but what i see ticket has been booked before 2-3 minute . and when i click 8.00 am that time ticket had gone. then what meaning of rules.
                that time i think this india
                i just want to know that the new TATKAL charges from when will be implemented?, and wht is the system of tatkal charges. And now what is time to book the ticket of tatkal means how many time before ticket can be booked ...like before that the time was 5 days before neither less than nor more than it, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , please tell me

                  I am frequent travller in Indian Railways since 15 years.
                  I was enjoying train travel irrespective of classes(SLEEPER/AC3).
                  I have travelled throughout India, Since Last year after implementation of 9berth in a bay, I am finding it extreamly difficult to travel.
                  My earlier complaints have not yeilded any results.
                  Please abolish the side-middle berth.

                  railway berth — middle bay berth

                  I HAD TRAVELLED BY CHENNAI COROMANDEL TO HOWRAH AND BACK. I WAS GIVEN A MIDDLE BERTH IN THE BAY SIDE WHICH IS NEW . I HAD TO TRAVEL MORE THAN 24 HOURS IN HELL THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR ME TO MOVE MY LEG AS PASSENGER WALK WAS HITTING MY KNEES OFTEN AS MY LEG WAS IN THE MOVING AREA . THE SEATING WAS WORST WITH 2 DIFFENT HEIGHT TO SIT ON . THE WORST WAS TO GET INTO THE BERTH TO SLEEP AS THERE WAS NO ROOM ABOVE ME.
                  PLEASE DO NOT PUT THE MIDDLE BAY BERTH IN LONG DISTANCE TRAINS.

                      Ihad to travel from Delhi to Nagpur with my mother. and had booked my ticketsthrough irctc.co.in on 20. 04. 09 to travel on 15.05.09. 2430 Bangalore Rajdhani. I had first booked two first class a/c tickets. since it was waitlisted and my travel was very important, i had 2nd A/c as well( even that was on waiting). hoping either one set of the ticket would surely would get confirmed on the date of the travel. On 15 . may. 09, both the set of the tickets were showing waitlist. Though it the site it is mentioned that the reservation chart will be ready 6 to 4 hrs before the derparture, but there was no status update.. My train was to leave at 8. 40. I checked at 6.30 then at 7.00. I went to the station at 7. 40. The reservation manager and Ticket checker ( NZM station) both informed since I have a wait listed ticket and booked through online, my ticket was been cancelled automatically and I will get the refund in my account in afew days time. Disappointed i made alternative arrangements to reach my detination. Next day evening when I checked with IRCTC for my refund status, am told that my tickets were confirmed.. My first A.c was confirmed and 2nd A/c I had one confirmed seat and one waiting...

                      I was cheated by Indian Railways, so that they get to sell my ticket for higher price to some other passengers. The reservation manager and the TT deliberately gave me wrong information. Though the charts were suppose to be prepared 2 hrs before the departure, the charts were not prepared even 2 hrs before departure. I was cheated. My PNR no is[protected] and for the other ticket [protected].

                      The railway chart should be prepared 6 to 4 hrs instead of the last minute. Reservation Officer holds such as important position should not misuse and mislead others.

                      I should not be penalise for no fault of mine and should be given full refund.

                      Chart not prepared even before an hour of train departure – so experience hell lot of problems

                      I encountered almost same problem.
                      I booked e-tickets (3 berths, for me & parents) in 7032/ Mumbai Express, date of journey 26 Dec 09. PNR –[protected], from Hyderabad to Solapur. Train scheduled departure was 20:40.

                      That day I was checking status through all means till 7:45 PM but my status was WL/17, WL/18, WL/19. Now its only 1 hour for departure so I cancelled my journey by that train.
                      Next day I expected that those tickets where already cancelled & I will get my amount refund (because by rule wait listed e-tickets automatically get cancelled & you can board the train).

                      But what a surprise, ticket was not cancelled & when I checked PNR status, 2 berths were confirmed & one was wait listed.
                      And now when I trying to cancel it message is prompted that “chart is prepared & ticket can not be cancelled”

                      So now I lost ticket amount, cancelled my journey, arranged travel by other means at high cost and apart from that big mental & physical torturer. We can’t take any decision even before an hour of our train departure.

                      At least, I should get full ticket amount refund.

                        I booked a Motorbike Hero Honda Splendour+ motorbike on the 9/05/09 vide challan no A943845.The motorbike was lifted on 12/05/09 on 3039UP from Howrah to Dildarnagar.But it was not delivered to the said destination Dildarnagar and it is returned back to Howrah.
                        No one from the Parcel office wants to take the responsibility of delivering the said motorbike.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I had taken my aged mother Mrs. Pushpavati, to Ghaziabad near New Delhi from Chennai so that she could meet my Uncle ( Mausaji) who is now at the last stage of brain cancer. We had gone by GT express on 1st May 2009 - A1 coach berth 7 and 9 got through tatkal and returned on 5th May by Tamilnadu Express A3 coach berth 13 and 15 got through tatkal..

                          There are a couple of issues:
                          1) My greatest anguish is: I needed a wheel chair for my mother 77 years on my return journey also ( I had got the wheel chair in Chennai without any problem and the porter had very graciously assisted my mother inside the coach also for just Rs.40/-.) On reaching New Delhi my cousin had arranged a porter to bring the wheel chair for Rs. 150/-???

                          On my way back, my cousin was on an official tour and I had got my mother in a cab till New Delhi station and then my problems began- no porter was ready to get the wheelchair and kept asking me to go to some other point, finally I reached the enclosure where wheelchair are kept and requested for one from the lady in charge, she told me to first get a porter and then come for the wheel chair. I told her my plight and she very indifferently told me she could not do any thing.

                          I then approached the police posted next to it and requested help and they told me that it was not their duty but that I had to approach the Station Master who was in charge of the wheelchairs. I was on Platform 16, my mother in the cab outside and the station master sits on platform 1, I asked if I could communicate with him through some phone or other means and I was told to go to platform 1 and talk to him. Again I tried the porters and all refused. finally I requested the cab driver to wait and went to Platform 1 to the station master who kindly asked me to go to the Asst Station master- he was missing from his seat. I again went to the station master who sent a person to find the Asst/ Dy station Master and introduce me to him.

                          On informing this gentleman of my plight his immediate reaction was to shout – “Am I sitting here to get wheelchairs for all sorts of people?” After uttering a lot o[censored]nwanted stuff he asked me to write a complaint with the badge numbers of all porters who had refused to get the wheelchair and that he would then take action against them. I told him that I wanted his help as my mother was sitting outside and had come to him for help. He once again went into a temper tantrum and started shouting that now his status is reduced to doing all these menial jobs etc, Again I requested and he went in a huff and shouted to a porter to come and asked him his badge number and told him to take my mother in a wheel chair and leave us on the platform and come back, shouting all the time. The porter did exactly that and left us on the platform as the train was not yet in. No amount of requesting made him agree to come and assist her into the train. I asked will the coach come here he said definitely and when it came the coach was 7 coaches away and with 10 minutes left, I know how I got my mother luggage and myself in the train.

                          The porter charged me Rs.150/- for this service. I thought wheelchairs were to be given as help.

                          I did not expect such service from a metro city railway station and that also from the capital of our country. To get the wheel chair it took me 1 hour! What sort of service are railways giving?

                          2) The railways are supposed to provide a bedroll with 2 clean bed sheets, 1 clean pillow with clean pillow slip, 1 clean blanket and 1 clean hand towel.
                          We were given dirty bed sheets, dirty pillow with dirty pillowslip and a torn and smelly blanket. I had to run after the attendant and ask for the towel, so it was provided to us and to no one else.

                          However to my surprise, I found all attendants having 1 face towel each. Not only that I saw the attendants taking sparkling new white sheets and sleeping! The next night I saw them change the sheets they had used and take new ones for their use and the passengers who pay for it are left with the same and dirty ones at that. (May be in the counting for washing the old dirty ones are once again given to passengers)

                          Further to my surprise, I saw the attendants had gathered together for dinner and then threw all the waste between the passage of two coaches and after washing up their utensils wiping them with clean bed sheets and clean pillowslips. I saw the linen becoming yellow in front of my eyes.

                          What a misuse of PUBLIC PROPERTY.

                          3) The coaches were not cleaned properly once from inside during the 36 hours of Journey!

                          The caterers also dumped the garbage between the passages between coaches and left it there.

                          Imagine traveling for so long in such conditions.

                          Before reaching Chennai I had a upset stomach and a urinary infection and the stomach virus was so bad that it continues till today inspite of medications. I was forced to have some water on New Delhi station between running to get a wheel chair and that has caused the problem. Now my Mother refuses to travel anywhere on a train and I cannot afford the air cost.

                          WILL THE RAILWAYS BEAR THE COST OF MY FURTHER TRAVELS BY AIR?
                          How is my mother and me going to be compensated for this torture?

                          there is network here.Some times I also book from railway
                          reservation counter from Sahibganj(SBG),under E.Rly,Malda

                          On 29.08.09 in evening there was maintenance in irctc
                          due to which I send my messanger to railway counter at
                          Sahibganj to book tickets.As you see from under mentioned
                          records,all the five tickets are for myself,for my wife and
                          for my daughter in law.
                          The person sitting in the booking counter denied to book all
                          tickets in one intance.He advised and insist my messanger
                          to enter in queue seperately for each set of tickets,due to
                          which my messanger enter in long queue three times.All this
                          took much time.I just give you the details of the tickets:-

                              My Brother Ullas Jain is working in Genpact Kolkata, and he normally comes from Office late night to Howrah Station at Weekends or Holidays to catch train and come Home to Kharagpur. On 12.05.2009 at 11.50 pm he came there and to his surprise all the Ticket Counters were closed at the New Complex of Howrah Station and Ahmedabad Express is normally the last train to come to Kharagpur, so even when Platform tickets were not available he had to step inside the platform, he told the Guard of the train and boarded the train, as the trains departure time is 12.00 am so he had no time to obtain any written consent..
                              However, at the Kharagpur Station TTI caught him for having no ticket at around 2.00am and the guard denied the fact that he had taken his consent. Further the TTI used slange language and did not allow my brother to talk to the Station Master of KGP and he was taken to GRP Thana, since he had lesser money, he called me up. Ultimately we paid of Rs.297/- vide receipt no.135578. Then we thought of registering a complain with the Station Master of KGP, to my surprise the the said Station Master Mr. Ubiaker Bera, told us that all we did was against railway rules and said the counters in Howrah station are never closed. After enough argument he provided us the complain book but kept on arguing. Afterwards his senior confirmed from the Howrah Station that the Booking Counters are closed everyday for ten minutes at that time for day change. So, ultimately we registered complain vide receipt no.087049. But, is it really a normal customers fault in this case. Why should the counters remain closed, when no tickets are available and it is urgent for passengers to reach their destinations, how can they see standing and let the trains pass by. Please look into the matter immediately, and the Howrah Station Incharge should be responsible for this and our money should be refunded, although we have proof except written consent of the KGP Station Master that the Counters at Howrah were closed at that time. Whys should we suffer for the Railways fault. We want that our amount be refunded with proper explanation and severe punishment to the ones liable for any Inconvenience caused to Passengers.

                                Today morning(3:10AM) I had to go to pick my wife who was coming by channai-Mysore(6222) train to krishnarajapuram railway(bangalore) station. I went to the ticket counter and asked for platform ticket with 10 Rs since I was not having change of 3 Rs. The railway ticket staff issuing the ticket told that I have to give the change. I told I dont have change. Also I showed him that he is already having change at his desk.
                                He told that he cannot give that and told me to do whatever I can do.I told I will give a complaint against him. Then he replied that None can do anything agaist him. I tought of going to duty station master but the entry was closed. Since the train was about to come I went to the platform without ticket as my wife was having lot of luggages.
                                while I was about to come out of the platform the same person(the person who was sitting at ticker counter) asked me for ticket. I felt it to be really rediculous.When I asked for the ticket he did not give me at the same time now he is taking advantage of it. He told me I have to pay the money. then I was taken to the station master though another way. But station master also did not do anything. Then I was told to pay the money.Also he started abusing my wife when she talked about it. I paid 253Rs fine and told him that I will find some way to solve this.

                                1)This is really a humiliating act by the railway employee with some one who has always taken care that he never travelled/aboarded train/platform without ticket. It is something really hurting act for a gentle man like me.
                                2)I dont know what is the use of such people who issue ticket who does not serve the people. Is there any action or channel to take action against such people?

                                I hope right decision will be taken by the authority

                                i agree with you totally.I also was encountered in one such incident at new delhi railway station where i forgot my ticket in train and a railway "female" employee stopped me and asked to pay her twice the amount of the ticket for which i was travelling and which was rs 870 as fine.On pleading she came down to two hundred but lucikly the train was still at the platform and i was able to get the ticket.On showing her the ticket she gave me back 200 rs.But i was infuriated with the way they tried to have a bribe.Does anyone know what is the fine for not having a platform ticket .?And whom should we contact in such situation?
                                I agree totally. I went to K R Puram station in Bangalore to pickup my mother in Law and father in Law. They denied to give platform ticket for not having change and gave advise that don't delay others don't pause the line as others have to catch train you are here only to pick up. Then I ended up paying 270 Rs. when I went without ticket. Even that substandard uncultured person was thinking to take 50 Rs bribe and let me go but I paid 270 as I hate people who take bribe(all of them). So in my view Railway has a lot of corruptions. People working as TT are disgusting. I also think that people should take matters in their own hand in such a situation as I think it is your right to hit back when someone hits you. If you don't want to hit back its your choice but you have every right to hit back at them and punish them. I think that any corrupt officer tries to take bribe should be beaten up and be made sure that the amount of money he asked for should be less than the amount he has to pay medical bill. I think each person should do that, in that case corrupt persons will live in great fear and we can see a brighter tomorrow.
                                Corruption is a disease and beating in public place and physical assault is the cure. Dismantle corrupt person and destroy corruption.
                                i have also faced the problem in the same manner and but in my case its a nexus working over there. I belong to a small town. A few express train pass through it in night. so what they people do the switch off the platform ticket generating machine and then abuse people and try to get bribe from them. and sum time they r drunk also.
                                Am not sure if any body is taking care of these complains, but really KR Puram is becoming such a bad place with corrupted ticket collectors, who don't really care if you are with family.
                                on 28/07/2010 they suddently appeared and ask for ticket who was looking like software guys. Rest we not asked for tickets. Software guys to them are easy money making machines, we run out of time and they have enough words to talk.
                                Today he made me to pay 270 rs for one seeoff. If station wanted to control they should allow easy ticket buying process first instead of catching innocent people. Anyways the kind of language they speak is not accepted .. I felt really bad as i had been to different countries and made enough contribution and spoke lot about the good part of india.. This kind of foolish officer makes me think twice before prizing india.. Any actions on KR puram station officer would really helps many.
                                Secondly Why Auto rikshaw charges can't be controlled out side KR puram station, they ask 300 - 400 rs for smaller distance and those guys are in such a unity nobody comes if one say no... and they never use meters..
                                People working like clerks and attendants are ediots and no eticates, the tickets are never available and they want to make money out of that..
                                they should be throw out of the system.

                                I did face the same situation today in KR Puram Train station.

                                There were plenty of people who were with out tickets
                                but i made the noise that i wont pay.as there was a very long queue.and we were running out of time.

                                I was taken tp RPF office where SI Chetty came and started abusing me and using crap language...i didnt care..they scared me by opening the cell grill gate..."Open the door...Put him inside...and prosecute him..." these were the words he used...i said i am from Uniform background and i know how to handle this...then things started getting change...slowlyquestion of where abouts came and there were people who work there[people who even shouted at me] from the same place...then the whole situation came down and it was plesant environment.

                                The SI offered me chair, coffee and said some suggestions and he clearly said two things...

                                1.India can never change
                                2.It is the penalty fine decided by central govt.They cannot do anything.

                                I have given them suggestions

                                1.Incorporate automatic machines
                                2.Increase the counters at peak times..

                                And as i have made such a nuisance[it was big, very big and unnecessary] they said i have to pay the fine as others also have paid...

                                Finally i paid Rs.253

                                the only way to escape from this is:

                                Please request the station master atleast 15 times and he will excuse.As i cant really request anybody though i make mistake...i went this far...


                                They just need only 10 - 15 Bakras per day...

                                i am traveling many times in karnavati superfast express from bharuch to surat at morning train at 7:40am so i have a problem with lots of people to come without tickets and also they are sitting in general and handycap person coach. they all are very harresing all people and not given place to whose people who takes tickets and also handycap. so plese take action as soon as possible and take action who person give support all people.
                                its happen to me as well as i am not beg from anybody they are our servant... if you made mistake.you will face the consequence. and also appose his TTR is manner.

In july 2008 meet to SHREE C.K.N NAYER sr DPO /RTM, he agrred and verble orders give to DPO/ RATLAM to put up file for ammendment in panel of cadre restructuring but file was notputuped by DPO RATLAm about 4 months later shree G.T Rathore posted as DPO/ RATLAM .                                         My son in law booked 'Tatkal" ticket (PNR No [protected]) by internet from Hyderabad for my niece Km. Kirti (17 years) for journey from starting station Gorakhpur to Secundrabad by Gorakhpur-Secundrabad Express departing from Lucknow at 11.50am on 06.05.09. Kirti had to board train from Lucknow.THERE WAS NO OPTION IN THE FORMAT FOR INTERNET BOOKING OF TATKAL TICKET WHEREBY 'BOARDING' STATION COULD BE INDICATED WHILE BOOKING THE TICKET.IT appears that the software program envisaged that in case a tatkal ticket was procured from the starting station in order to ILLEGITIMATELY fleecing passenger IN ADDITION TO EXTRA CHARGE FOR TATKAL TICKET, Railway Administration presumed that the seat from starting railway station will be kept reserved for the ticket holder irrespective of the boarding station of the ticket holder.On its own the Software Program inserted Starting Station as Station of boarding.
                                        When the train arrived, Kirti found that her seat had been allotted by the Conductor to another person since she did not board the train from starting station.
                                        Now such confrontation...the ticket being held by the passenger lawfully...and his being thrown out because the internet format of booking Tatkat Ticket did not have an option for 'Boarding Station'...is a terrific, inexcusable flaw on the part of the framer and tester of the Softeare Program for which Railways should fix responsibility as thousands of passengers would have fallen victim to this negligence of the Software preparing and Testing Teams.
                                        THE PROGRAM SHOULD IMMEDIATELY BE UPDATED AND UPDATING NOTIFIED IN LEADING NEWSPAPERS FOR INFORMATION OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE.
