I boarded South Bihar Exp. (train no. 3288) from Rajender Nager station in sleeper class but to my surprise, there was no space even to stand in a reserved compartment. I had to stand for almost 90 minutes before daily passenger got down. To add to this, there was no trace of TT and he came at around 1 AM in night.

After inquiring with some other passengers, I am told that it happens almost daily on South Bihar express. As the train leaves Patna Jn. its reserved compartments (sleeper class) are packed with daily passenger and one can only expect the situation to normalize after Mokama Jn. There is no trace of TT in between Patna and Mokama.

I'll request railways should look into it so that one doesn't have to travel standing even after getting a birth reserved by paying extra through Tatkal.

    hi, i want to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the regular harassment done by the MST holder passengers with the general passengers in 2138 Punjab mail. Instead of legally booking the business purpose materials, they occupy forcefully the region of the last general compartment of the train.
    Not limited to that extent, they forcefully throw the luggage of the general passenger, and show as such that they have reserved the whole compartment. They cross the limit in doing so, not even spare the common passenger, they pull the innocent people from their seats. They cross all limits when they start drinking and smoking in the compartment in running train. And they give the general passengers the threatening of the GRP. Their behavior with the general passengers is so in human. This is something which happens regularly in the last general compartment of Punjab mail(2138) start from Bhopal(written MST on the train compartment area concerned with the emergency window.-1 name 'Pappu'). I faced first time, protested with my junior and after quite few attempts get support from the other general passengers, so this has somehow unexpected happened with them, and it this makes the journey some smoother but this must not the proper solution. So Railway authorities should look into this regular harassment and animal like behavior by quite a handful of goons, and provide the general passengers smooth journey and let them aware about the related rules of these concerned types.       Hi,

      My question to the Indian railway management is related to usage of general boogies in express trains.

      Are the general boogies for the poor peaple's low cost travel boogie or its for everyones sort distance travel, or its for the people who does not get reservation confirmation because their plan was immediately made.


      Many people will plan their travel, but do not book the ticket as their journey starts from source station, , so they occupy the a complete birth in the general boogie. I do not understand where would the short distance travells will go. If, they ride on the reserved boogies, they are panalized heavily.

      I think, government should define this, , and address the issue.

        This is to bring in your notice regarding incorrect details been provided regarding arrival and departure of trains bu both Railway enquiry number 139 and website (http://www.trainenquiry.com/indexNS.aspx)

        I have to travel by train 7203 ( bhavnagar Kakinada Experess ) as on 13th June 09, from Surat to Secunderabad, when i made call to number 139, it said the train is running on its scheduled(right)...

        Dear sir, i am traveling now in train number 3246 with ticket pnr number [protected] & [protected] but we didn't got our berth even there were 6 berth vaccent we were waiting for tte but he came after 2 hours &told us that there is no any vaccent berth but he issud to some waitlist passangers after taking rs 100 from them per passanger when we told him tgat how can u issue berth to waitlist before rac he started to abuse us. I was totally shoked by his behave this all happaned between patna to baroni on 12 - 06-09 we just traveled on only 6 berth but we were having 12 tickets kindly do the needful action & that i can get the justic from indian railway & also the guard denay to give me a complain book when i asked for it to him, he told that he is not having book.

        Indian Railways — Non allotment of Berth

        I have booked a ticket PNR No.[protected] and Ticket No.53206663 on 25.05.09 Class Ist AC, Date of Journey 25.06.09 status W/L.1 journey from Bilaspur to New Delhi Train No.2823. The ticket was not confirmed but due to urgency I have boarded the train with a hope that W/L status no.1 may get a berth during the course of the travel. Unfortunately, I was informed by the TTE that no berth is vaccant. I had no option to get out of the train at Anuppur and next alternative stop available at Bina. The train reached at Bina 1.30 a.m and I was standing here and there throughout the night and struggled 25.06.09 and till morning 26.06.09 at destination.

        On 26.06.09 I came to know that one VIP could not turned due to bad health but Mrs.VIP travelled alone occupied both the Berth Cabin-C (not alloted them as per the chart). I have checked the chart, Cabin C actually alloted to other passengers and not to the VIP's. Because of Mrs.VIP's approach, the Cabin- C (Husband & Wife) shifted to Cabin-A and another couples boarded from Bilaspur to Delhi was misguided by someone to shift to Cabin-A, (their actual seat Cabin-B) there was a verbal arguments between Acual Cabin C and Cabin B passengers (both were registered complaints on arrival) The TTE was not given complaint register to Cabin B passengers.I do not know why?

        If the Mrs.VIP travelled as per the chart, the TTE could have allotted the berth to the W/L passenger too because one berth was completely vaccant. Is anyone can help me, I have paid Rs.2337/- for a ticket, I couldn't cancell the ticket at Bilaspur, honestly, I have travelled standing throughout the journey.

        hi,

        i had booked a ticket on train kashi vishwanath exp. my PNR no [protected] jouney date is 3/04/10.
        but it show confirmed only there is no berth & coach no.alloted.

        why it is not shows on ticket at the time of booking

        actually me & my wife is suppose to travlling on above mention date & we are looking for couple private cabin.

        if it is possible kindly do the needfull for us..

        I faced similar situation in Kacheguda Express going from Bangalore to Hyderabad... Can some one atleast point out if there is some system alive or we have some consumer court or railway complaint register any thing .???????????

          A ticket was purchased in Raigarh(C.G.) on 16.04.2009 for a journey from Bondamunda to Gwalior on 15.06.2009. When we requested the deputy station manager of Raigarh (c.g.)on 09.06.2009 to change the boarding point from bondamunda to raigarh, he allowed the change but the Reservation Office refused the request saying that there are no such rules regarding such changes.
          So, i kindly request you to resolve the matter at an earliest as the ticket was purchased in raigarh and the request for change was also made at the same station.i am providing the pnr no. and the ticket no. for your reference.

          You can get your boarding place changed by a simple application, mentioning the PNR number, Traveller's Name, Actual Boarding Place and the new boarding place, to the station master. The reservation clerk has this function in his computer that he/she can make changes in the boarding place even for Tatkal Tickets. You can get your name changed (spelling mistakes I think) for tickets booked normally.
          The Application has to be given to the booking clerk by the same person with his/her Photo identity proof.

            I have booked a ticket for train no. 2562 New Delhi Muzaffarpur Swantrata Senani Exp.on 31/05/09.My ticket no. was 56200441 and PNR No. was[protected].The status at the time of booking was WL/23.Class 2A.My ticket was confirmed on the journey date i.e. on 05/06/09 in 3A Class.When I asked the TTE the reason for degrading my journey class. He asked me that since the 2A coach was not available, my ticket has been confirmed in 3A.He gave me a refund receipt and I was told that I can claim the refund at any reservation counter across India. When I went to Shalimar Bagh New Delhi reservation counter after a long wait in Queue, I was told that the system shows that no refund is allowed.When I met the chief supervisor of Shalimarbag reservation counter Mrs. Neelam Sharma Ph. No. [protected] she told me to enquire after two days. When I again went today, I have been told to go to either New Delhi station or the destination of my journey Muzaffarpur.Kindly register my complaint and suggest me the right way.

            Indian Rail — Cheat with Passengers

            Dear Sir,

            I have most of time pick train for surat (gujarat) from Boriwali (mumbai) station.On the ticket window,
            They cheat the passenger. Always they take more time for giving ticket & in hurry of pick up train, they give less money back.

            This things happen five times with me.
            Due to error message from your host computer while payment through credit card the booking was done twice for the same family, same date and for same train ( i.e. for Rajdhani Express 2951). Booking date was 1-3-2007and boarding on[protected]. The PNR nos for both the tickets are [protected] (used ticket) and [protected]) unused ticket). As per Mr. V. P. Indoria's letter dat.[protected]Ref. No. 2003/IRCTC/ERTD/Refunds/E-tickets) "The refund will be proceed by zonal railways". But till today I have not received any refunds (Rs. 5305) as well as any correspondence. Also I wanted to know that whether we can book two tickets for same family, for same train and for same date?

            Dear Sir/Madam

            I am traveling with the Train 12353 Bhagalpur Anand Vihar Gareeb Rath Exp. and today in 10 hours of journey only one time the catering services has supplied the water and after that they didn't provided water.

            You can understand that in 10 hours if you get only one bottle of water then how do you survive and suffer. Till now after 10 hours no one came for asking for dinner too.

            I am suffering a lot and after asking about the services all the attendents and TTE say that go to the last coach which is supply coach which is 16 coaches behind my coach and i have bags to whom I can't leave.

            So, take a proper action and ask about making such a poor and disgusting condition. I am suffering a lot and very hungry.

            Indian Rail — POOR SERVICE

            I travelled in 12442 NDLS-BSP RAJDHANI EXPRESS.I was not served with the morning tea which is in the Menu.I was repeatedly asked by the
            waiter(server) to show me the tickets before serving breakfast.
            News paper was not given.The confectionary to be given along with a cold beverage was also not served to the whole coach(B-4).

              Charging Prices Higher than MRP at Indian Railways Authorised Book Stalls at Railway Platforms

              I Wish To Inform You That I, Pravin Jain, A Resident Of Darjeeling Came Across A Major Problem Today, A Problem Large Enough To Damage The Reputation Of Our Country And Completely Unethical.

              Today Afternoon, While I Went To The Darjeeling Railway Station To Book Tickets, My Pen Stopped Working And I Decided To Buy Another Pen At The Stall On The Station By The Name Of “A.H.Wheeler.Book Stall”...

              I travelled from Howrah to Patna by 2305 Kolkata Rajdhani Express on 7th June 2009 with my son. Our coach No was A2 and berth nos. 18 and 20 . Our PNR No.[protected].
              We, and the other passengers travelling from Howrah to Patna by 2AC coach, were not given Bedding/bedroll even after requesting for the same. Surprisingly, passengers travelling in 1A and 3A coaches for the same sector were given bedrolls. Even after bringing this to the Notice of TTE/TC, no action was taken, as they supported the Attendant.
              I request you to state the official stand of the Railways in this regard.
              1. Are bedrolls to be issued in 1A/2A/ and 3A coaches onthe 2305 Kolkata Rajdhani Express for the Howrah-Patna section?
              2. If so, can any action be initiated against the defaulting staff?
              3. Does the Railway chargeany amount towards bedrolls? If so, can we clain refund of this amount?
              4. If so, can we claim compensation?

              Sir,

              It is unfortunate to bring to your notice the following facts in respect of the reference given above:


              1. On 15th September 2008, I booked an e-ticket for my wife (Savita Kapur) and self (J. C. Kapur) for travel back from Allahabad to New Delhi on 1st November 2008 by 2417/Prayag Raj Express, 1st Class ACC; both being senior citizens.

              2. We were waitlisted at 1 and 2 right from the time of booking. The seats were not confirmed until 8:30 p.m. on the date of journey because the charts were not prepared till that time (the train leaves at 9:30 p.m.) and we were asked to personally come to the Allahabad Railway Station to check the same at time of departure of the train.

              3. The charts were pasted on the train at about 9:00 p.m. and one of our two seats was confirmed. For obvious reasons, being old in age, it was impossible for one o[censored]s to travel and the other to be left behind. The train attendant/ conductor permitted us to board the train and assured to give give us a seat if it were available in any compartment.

              4. The real humiliation began after about two hours of the start of the train.

              5. The conductor declared one o[censored]s as traveling “without ticket” as one of the seats was not confirmed and according to him it was automatically cancelled. He also specified that the money for the automatically cancelled ticket would automatically be refunded to my account on-line.

              6. Since he declared one o[censored]s as traveling without ticket and the self-printed e-ticket not being valid any more (since, according to him, it was treated as refunded ticket), we would be required to pay the full fare (without any concession for female senior citizen) plus fine for traveling without ticket. Thus we were charged Rs. 2115/- (Rs 1665/- as fare for one passenger + Rs 450/- as fine for traveling without ticket) vide receipt no. 165440, dated wrongly as[protected]instead of[protected].

              7. While on one side we were humiliated and insulted for traveling without ticket, on the other we were charged the fare and fine without providing a seat in the train.

              8. The most shocking thing is that the claim of your conductor that we were traveling without ticket and that the refund would be made automatically is false.

              9. Hoping that a responsible senior officer of the railway staff (train conductor in the 1st ACC Coach) would know the rules and not harass the passengers, and to give sufficient time to the IRCTC to make the refund, I did not bother you with a complaint earlier.

              10. After two weeks, when I checked my account/status of the refund with IRCTC online and my bank, I was shocked to find that the refund has not been made to me.

              11. All this implies the following:

              a. You have charged twice for one journey from the same passenger.
              b. You have insulted and humiliated a senior citizen couple by declaring them as traveling without ticket without adequate reason.
              c. You have severely damaged the reputation of two highly respectable and educated senior citizens, one of whom retired as a Professor from a highly reputed Institution of the Government of India and the other retired as a Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

              Under the circumstances, this is to request that an immediate action in the matter be taken, including refund of the sum of Rs 2115/- charged from me during the journey along with the compensation for damages for the harassment, insult, humiliation, mental agony, and loss of reputation caused to me and my wife who are both highly respectable senior citizens.

              sir,
              Prayag raj exp. is an iso train but the toilets not cleaned preperly as they smalled very bad from the starting point.
              This is absolutely right.

              ISO Standards are not at all met.

              Toilets are not clean.

              journey is not comfortable. Train is jerking like any thing. compared to an other train.

              I agree with the complaint against the high headed attitude of the railway staff. I was travelling by the 1077 Jhelum exp on 23 Feb 10 from NDLS to CHKB on ticket PNR NO[protected] in bogie no CR00120. We were issued with a bedding which was not clean. On complaining I was issued with a fresh bed sheet which was no better than the previous one. On opening the second bed sheet I noticed that the bed sheet was torn and had a gaping hole of appx 3 feet. I asked the TTE to get me the complaint register three times but the complaint register was not given. The reply was that the attendant will change the sheet so there is no need to complaint.

              Moreover the wash basin in the toilet was choked and no conservancy staff was available to clean the coach or the toilets at NDLS, nor any stn thereafter. This is a normal trend with the railway staff. Can some action be initiated against the TTE and the attendant?

              Dear sir,
              I was travelling from DHANBAD TO HOWRAH by 2308A on dated 4th june10. I was having Reserved berth no-21/Coach no:S-5 vide PNR NO-[protected]. The train departed from Dhanbad at 0000hrs. The coach was having atleast 50 nos unauthorised psg who were sleeping on the floor. With great difficulties when I approaches towards my berth it observed that some person has occupied my berth.On asking to vacate the berth the person told me that this was alloted by TTE.I could not find any TTE through out night. Also no TTE checked my e-tkt. I spent a sleepless night. My question is
              1)who is responsible for my suffering.
              2)How so many unauthorised psg entering in the Reseved coach in addition to limited (72)nos of berth.
              3)Why TTE has not checked my ticket.
              My request is kindly look in to the matter so that no passenger should suffered sleepless
              night me like me and TTE should be available and check ticket as per chart. Guilt TTE should be punished.

                dear sir,
                I am writing this complaint against the non cooperative attitude of the ticketing staff at Mumbai Central rly station. My wife & kids PNR no[protected] date of travel 14 may 09 by train no 2952 got misplaced, as it was a return journey soldier no ticket they had to travel by train no 2951 on 8 jun 09 by ticket pnr no[protected].despite my showing them a FIR & a photocopy of the misplaced ticket the railway AUTHORITIES DID NOT give me a duplicate ticket & I was made to pay RS - 8315 by challan no G 471023 in the train no 2951. the non cooperative attitude of the railway authorities against a serving army officer and his family on a bona fide journey is very shocking and a rude reminder of the state of priorities of the railway staff.I had all the proof to show the validity of my ticket but it was ignored and I was informed by the TC that if it was a paid ticket I would have to pay only 25% of the fare. I want the MINISTER OF RAILWAYS to look into this matter and my money taken illegally must be paid back to me . This kind of red tape ism is spoiling the reputation of the Railways& necessary action must be taken by the Authorities

                This is to bring to your notice about the train which travels between Kuppam and Bangalore city via bangarpet daily, (push pull).
                were we are facing lot of issues in the train. As many travels with out the proper ticket, as we are traveling daily from past 1.5 years noticed that there is no proper Ticket checking, because of this, people traveling with the proper ticket are not getting seats, especially Old people and pregnant Ladies.

                i know the Passenger trains are meant to the poor people, but the ticket are so cheap in the passenger trains as even a poor man can afford this, but still people who really don't care for all this will travel with out the ticket.


                please consider this as a high priority and consider this mail as a humble request rather than a complaint and please do the needful.


                apologize me if i have mentioned any thing wrong.

                  We were a group of 12 people had a ticket for train 0124 Madgaon CST SUP SP train.Its scheduled Departure from Ratnagiri was 10:20 PM. When we checked this Website trainenquiry.com at 9:00 PM, it said the train is late by 7 Hours. We even checked with 135 Rail enquiry number. They too mentioned the train was late by 7 hours and would come to Ratnagiri Station at 6 AM.

                  We all were shocked and we all had to reach Mumbai anyhow to attend Offices. We started looking out for alternate options.We even were about to book the tickets for Bus to Mumbai, but luckily, one of our friend reach station to Inquire abt the Train asked the station master who mentioned the train was on time and the delay was not more that 20 mins. We all were so stressed during that timeperiod as to how are we gonna reach back home.

                  Is this the kind of service Indian Railway(Who is the largest Employer in India) Provides ? Message to Railways !!

                  "Please stop making these websites and open customer cares who give us wrong information. We dont need wrong information. We would be happy with no Information. We need an Explanation as to why this error occured in your system"

                  IT SHOWED THAT TRAIN IS LATE & WILL REACH SAWAI MADHOPUR WITH DELAY OF MORE THAN SEVEN HOURS ( AS PER UPDATE AT 20:10 ON[protected]

                  IT IS ALSO SHOWING THAT TRAIN IS DELAYED BY 04 HOURS & WILL REACH KOTA WITH SUCH DELAY.( AS PER UPDATE AT 20:10 ON[protected]

                  THE TIME TAKEN BETWEEN SAWAI MADHOPUR & KOTA BY A TRAIN IS ABOUT 1 HOUR.

                  NOW SHOULD WE RELY ON THE INFORMATION PROVIDED ON COMPUTER ? WHICH INFORMATION IS CORRECT ?
                  Train no 12833 Ahmedabad howrah express is said to arrived at final destination howrah at 1:45 pm on 18th nov 2018, where as it hasnt reached the station yet at 2:30 pm.

                    This is regarding the refund of the money for my eticket,

                    as the train Bhuvaneshwar Rajadhani for which I booked my ticket from Mughal Sarai to New Delhi was expected to be late by 6 hours, at mughal sarai rly stn. on 26th feb 09.

                    So I informed the Station authorities and boarded another train to delhi, paying the ticket charges and penalty.

                    I have filed TDR in IRCTC website with ref no. ekt[protected]

                    PNR no. [protected]

                    I am herewith attaching the copy of eticket with signature of railway authority, and copy of the ticket ( Magdha Exp ) with which I traveled to newdelhi.

                    initially when I contacted IRCTC they told me that it will take 90 Days, but its now more than 100 days, but till date the money has not refunded.

                    Its been a harassment from Indian railways, it being the mistake is from Railways its my money that is held up for all this days .

                    Moreover I being a frequent traveler of rajdhani, had to travel by Sleeper class, as I had important appointment on the next day .

                    So with your help I wish to get back my money refunded, and want to claim a heavy compensation from Indian railways / IRCTC for all the harassment caused.

                    Indian Railways — Non Refund of Ticket Amount for more than 100 days

                    Dear Sir,

                    I have booked for two from Visakhapatnam to Trichur on Train No. 6310 on[protected] and the Train has been cancelled. The PNR No. of the ticket is [protected]. Subsequently on 31/10/2008 we have filed the TDR in IRCTC Site and TDR Transaction ID is [protected].Even after three months after filing the TDR, I am yet to receive the refund amount. On contacting the IRCTC helpline nos. they just saying that they will be sending the Refund amount in another 10 days time. This they are telling since 15ht January and till date I did not receive any refund amount. They are also least bothered to reply the emails sent by me requesting the refund of the ticket for cancelled train. Request you to kindly intervene and try to get my refund as early as possible.
                    I had purchased 2 tickets for myself & my wife on TN No.296 Ashram Express from Jaipur to Ahmedabad journey dated 28.12.2008 sleeper class PNR No.25428787. As the tickets were not confirmed I had canceled it at Jaipur Rly Stn on 28.12.2008 time 20.00 hrs vide Ticket Deposit Receipt No.B07656 issued by Station Master, JAIPUR. Subsequently I has submitted application for Refund of Fare of Rs.556/- to The Chief Commercial Manager(Claim), IstFloor, D.R.M.Office, Jaipur Rly Stn, Jaipur by Registered A.D. Post No.3458 dtd.10.01.2009 which has been duly acknowledged by them on 13.01.2009. I have so fare not received the refund. Please look into the matter and follow up. In the meanwhile pl furnish to me thee-mail address of The Chief Commercial Manager, Jaipur Rly Stn so that I can follow up with them through e-mail. with regards

                    Unfortunately out of 3 tickets only one ticket of M.Sudhakar was confirmed and rest of the tickets are cancelled automatically due to full waiting tickets. The TTE was not allowed the following 2 passengers into the coach. I did not received the payment back from Indian railways as the tickets are not confirmed. Even I filed a TDR. But they did not responded immediately and after 100days they said they donot want to return money.

                    I mailed irctc to cancel my e ticket (PNR no. [protected]) on 21 Dec
                    2008.I could not cancelled my e ticket because the chart was prepared.Once
                    the chart is prepared the user is not authorised to cancel e ticket.
                    They replied me through mail that your request to cancel e ticket have
                    been processed and they have forwarded the request to TDR Process
                    Department.They also informed me that the process will take 90 days and
                    after that your money will be credited back into your account.It has been
                    more than 100 days i have not received the payment yet.I called many times
                    and mailed them but there is no response.
                    I am sending u a picture of mail that railway have mailed me.
                    Kindly look into this matter

                    sir i m kamaljeet.i belongs to punjab district bathinda.yestrday i stood on the bahadurgarh(haryana) railway ticket counter.i have refund ticket.
                    ticket no.59047045 and pnr no.[protected]. i give the refund ticket to mr. saini they r sit on the booking counter. he says me that he does not know about the refund ticket.then i went to the station master.he says to mr. saini do his work.after this mr.saini angry with me and do missbehave with me.he says me very sharp and dirty words that words i can not explain on here.then he want bribe from me for refund my 156 rs.

                    I booked a e ticket on 4th july 2009 transaction id [protected], pnr rnumber [protected] from chennai central(mas) to station thrissur total amount 266.71 Rs.and canceled on 07/07/2009 at 10.30am but starts at 9.15pm on the same day 07/07/2009 when i canceled it showed me refund 246 Rs.

                    It was credited through itzcash payment gateway. Till today 25/07/2009 no refund was rollback to my itzcash account

                    So kindly request you sir to refund may canceled amount as soon as possible.

                      I had a ticket for Jaipur which got confirmed and wanted to cancel it today but due to heavy rush at the only two cancellation counters at Nagpur Station I reached the window only to find that the counter is closed. It was dot 8.00 pm. I was directed to go to manual counter where they said that the same cannot be cancelled now as we will entertain tickets only upto 6.00 AM in the morning. I contacted station Master who also showed his inability to do so and advised me to come next morning at 8.00 am which means that i will lose 50% of the ticket. This is really a hard situation where old rules are still prevailing and I really felt desperate at the state of affairs.

                        Mine is the most common complain that I think Ever single person who tries to get railwy reservation knows. From 8:00 to 8:02 sometimes even more the Railway booking system doesnot work, Neither on Internet nor on railway booking Counter,
                        In just 2 minues all of the Taltal Quota gets sweeps away in Rajdhani AP & all other major Trains.

                        How is it possible that everday it happens? The booking counter claims they have lost connectivity, The booking website also get unavailable. It is a big racket everyone knows I wonder why No-one has ever tried to expose this racket.
                        I guess everyone knows this because I know my crafty agent can get me Booked ticket for extra charges more so he gets me an e-ticket sometimes & I tried though Internet but I could not get the same for the same train same day.

                          We Had reservation in Train no .2150 Patna Pune superfast Exp...In coach No S-9 .On ticket The birth No Was 9 And 12 But on chart the no Changed to 10 And 13.My Ticket No. 53023550, PNRno.[protected]. So we boarded on 4/06/09 At 11 Pm at Patna junction. And We Kept Our Suitcase VIP 21 inch Gray Colour And A Trolley Bag Of Sky Blue and Black Colour Under The Birth No 13..Till Morning of 5/06/09 The Bags Were At There place Till the Train Approches The Platform Of Allahabad Junction But As Train Stopped My Eyes Open And I found That Both the bags were Missing .I Ran here and there Couldn’t found The Bag. I ran To The Guard of Train Informed Him But He Said Its not his duty Go to GRP Thana ( he Misguided Me Actually it was his duty to arrange a police for me in the train ).I Saw A railway police official And Informed The Matter He said go to Platform No 1 And launch FIR .I went To Platform 1 A Police Official At Thana Asked what Happened I Informed Him About the Same .He asked me what Was Material In the bags .I informed That There Was 1 Gold Necklace, 1 Gold MangTika, 5 Ladies Ring, And one Mine, 1 Jhumka, Near About 35 Grams Of Gold And Costly Sarees Set Near About 7-8 Worth 7-8 Thousands, And near About 2000/- cash And other Clothes Of Mine and Shoes Etc ..He made A Note of Things And Asked me to Go To platform No 7 .As there Is GRP Booth Go And Register Your Complain I ran To platform no 7 .There Was A booth But it was Closed from Outside .I was So Shocked That What To do What Not .No one was Ready to help me I went to Each Uniformed Police person Every one was Telling Go report But You will Not get Your Belonging As Once Gone So Gone Never Come back…No One took my complaint..Then I called Up My brother In Law In Patna .He went to Patna GRP and Then A Patna GRP Official Talk To Me and informed To Report To TTE as They Have FIR Book .So I went To TTE Mr. Sudhir And he Took Me to The Superintendent Of Train And They Called Next Station And Mr. R.K Singh Police Inspector From Katni Junction Boarded And Took My Complaint FIR No -022 Registered At Katni Jn Railway Police Station (Ph No.07622 – 223342).He said He will forward This to Allahabad Police And Let see ..But I know That My Things Will Never Come Back to Me but I want To Inform Other People of Our Country Those Who Are Travelling via Allahabad That Be Alert at Allahabad Jn. As Police will not help you they will Only Ask about Material and latter they will Share with the Thefs..Really Allahabad Police Are Shameless .Because The Police Official who Took The Material Details He Actually wanted his proper share Other wise What Was need of asking about materials When u r not taking the Complaint……

                            I got married in Gujarat and we were coming back to Delhi with my wife and family (I stay in Delhi). While coming back by Ashram Express, we lost some baggage. We were 19 people in same compartment with total 55 different types of baggages. Out of those 55, only three were lost, seems theft in night at around 2 am, before 5 am, when we were sleeping. It was very strange that only those luggage which had all the Jewellery and costly items was lost. It contained everything of my wife's Jewellery, clothes, etc. At that time we called the Railway police, but no body turned up. They came very late and took 1 hour to lodge the complaint and took no action. We went and filed complaint in Delhi, but nothing happened.

                            i m an army officer wife, i was coming to delhi from saugor(mp), , v r poste at saugor 7 i was cmng to my muma home coz my hubby was going for some course in pune. as i m hvng 1son who is jst 2 so instead of staying alone at saugor i plan to came at my mother home, , i was coming through Godwana Express on 3march wid my son, while travelling i realized near 2am that my handbag is not wid me, it was containing all my jewelley, , my husband salaried ATM, our canteen smartcard, my both cell phones, , i complained this to TT bt he repied me that mam i m not aware, , i ask attentend he gave the same answer..now its going to complete near 8months happened this incidient but no action has taken by anybody regarding this, , if we people who are serving our country, , providing safety to others and our families are not safe then all what you people can expect???
                            WE HAVE LODGED A COMPLAINT THROUGH EMAIL ON 26TH OCT O9 REGARDING LOST BAGGAGE AT SUBBUBUN TRAIN NO 358 LEFT EARLY MORNING 4.01AM BOARDING AT JUI NAGAR RLY STATION TO CST. NO REPLY OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM AUTHORITIES . THE CARTON CONTAIN ONE DELL CPU, KEY BOARD BLACK COLOR WITH CLOTHES PACKED IN THE CCARDBOARD CARTON . PLEASE HELP US TO FIND OUT THE SAME . WE LODGED THE COMPLAINT INWRITING AT CS T SUBBURBAN STATION .
                            Dear Sir,

                            While traveling from Howrah to Raipur by Mumbai Mail (2810 up) in AC 1st Class (Coupe-E) on 17th November evening my laptop (HP make, Model 6910P of 2007, Sl No. SGH 7430 PN 8 with Power Cable ) kept in a black laptop bag was theft from my above coupe, At that time, the TTE, Attendent and the GRP on duty were all present in the compartment. My Ticket PNR No. is[protected].

                            Along with the laptop, there were my credit cards of ICICI and HSBC and also my driving licence, company's identity card, my Voter's Identity Card and a few valuable photographs and important papers inside the laptop bag.

                            The incident happened between Howrah Station and Kharagpur. An FIR was lodged with the GRP, Raipur Rly Station on 18th November after arrival there.

                            I shall request you to please help me in finding out the laptop which was theft on that night while travelling in the AC 1st class on 17.11.2009.

                              I have booked one tatkal ticket from Banaras to Bhopal to day( 5.6.09)96ib7 by Kamayani Express . The ticket was booked and money was realised from the account. But the ticket has not been issued.The reference no of transaction is (reference no.[protected]).
                              Would railway minister who is said to be a person from common man see why the ticket has not been issued when money has been realised. Or every body has to be dependent on the "Railway Ticket Dalals" for getting the railway tickets.

                              Ever since the outgoing railway minister absorbed all the coolies in the regular work force in the railways,
                              the stations are virtually cooliless.
                              I[censored] only fill up these vaccancies or allott licences to coollies, u will give employment to millions of
                              able bodied persons with a stroke o[censored]r pen and difficulties of travelling public will be lessened.
                              These days it is very hard to find a licencesed coollie on the platforms whether in east, west or north or south of india

                              With due respect I place my grievance to your kind knowledge.
                              I belong to Malda (WB) and by profession an Engineer. Presently I am working with UNO. Prior joinning UNO I was working with IRCON. In September 2002, IRCON sent me to United Nations Mission in Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUC) as a skilled manpower to undertake different airfield work. I worked 7 months in MONUC and thereafter, detached myself from IRCON in 2003 April. Though IRCON paid my salary and other detachment allowances but did not pay my Mission Subsstance Allowance (MSA) which is almost $ 30000/- ( IN INR approximately 15 lakhs). On many occassions I visited IRCON MDs but they all promised but without any result. I could have taken the case to UNO but being Indian I did not want to defame my country at international level. The case was taken to Delhi Hogh Court but it is only getting delayed and my hard money being spent on advocate fees.

                              I shall remain grateful to you if my hard earned money which is held for more than 6 years is paid to me with legitimate interest.

Indian railway is the largest railway system around the world and it have its glorified histroy. People expect a good service and a honorable behaviour from the railway authority and the staffs. But unfortunately this expectation badly hurt sometimes ( very often !!! ) by the dishonorable and shameless behaviour of the staffs of railway daepartment.In this context the recent news of the SHAMELESS BEHAVIOUR OF A TTE TOWARDS A WOMAN PASSENGER IN KOLKATA can be used for a live example.This TTE DARE TO UNDRESS THE WOMAN PASSENGER AND THEN STRIPESS HER IN THE OFFICE IN SEALDHA RAILWAY STATION.

                              You are one of the leading personality not only in India also in the world representing the woman dignity and woman power. We all respect you for your great movement and struggle for democracy, peace, corruption and crime free society, improvement of socio-economical situation of the nation and to establish a equality to woman. In this context I like to ask you HOW WILL THE RAILWAY AUTHORITY AND YOU AS A RAILWAY MINISTER REACT WITH THIS SHAMEFULL INCIDENT ? If the passanger did any punishable offence then she would be punished according to the Railway rules and regulation. But how could a staff behave in this way to a passenger. While THREE WOMEN PERSONALITES ARE CHAIRED THE ESTEEM POSITIONS OF INDIA AND WORLD ( Her Majesty, Pratibha Patil is the Hon. President of the largest democartic country of world, India; Hon. Sonia Gandhi is the President of largest political party of the world, Indian National Congress and you yourself is the Hon. Railway Minister of the largest railway system of the world, Indian Railway).


                              I was a social and political worker in India for more than one and half decades before came to New Zealand. I was a Chhatra Parishad leader and was a Member of West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee before joined to the Trinamool Congress and a form a political family while one of my relative is a eminent Congress leader, former legendry student leader and was a former Union Minister of I& B. I also had my bitter kind of these experience while I was in India. So obviously this kind of incident not only hurt us but also raise a question to us, HOW COULD BE A NATION WILL STEP FORWARD WHILE A CITIZEN CAN NOT HONOUR OTHER FELLOW CITIZEN ?

                              I therefore request you to take examplenary action towards these incidents as these kinds of incidents should not be happened in the future.

                              We are senior citizen, aged 65 and 69 yrs, implanted with space-maker, attempted several times to book our e-Tickets yesterday in 2313 Sealdah Rajdhani Exp. in 3AC from Sealdah to New Delhi requsting atleast one lower berth out of 158 available accommodation then. We were shocked to note that ticket-amount was approved and paid every instant from SBI-Card but ticket booking failed on technical reasons. Curiously, when no choice NONE was preferred we were allotted UPPER BERTHS out of said available 158 AC-3Tier berths. We at this old-age with high BP and Space-maker implanted are not expected to climb to Upper Berths, particularly at nature-calls in the night. We also made an attempt to book Lower Berth in Ladies Quota but sarcastically money was debited without booking ticket. Our Transaction ID.[protected], PNR No.[protected]. May we request you to look into the matter of Internet Reservation with choice of berth for LADIES as well as SENIOR and/or AGED Passengers. A line of confirmation is highly solicited.

                              Respected Madam,
                              I'm a software personnel and working in IT sector for more than 10 years. I would like to say honestly, that based on your idiology I'm a big fan of you. I'm very much respect you. But after taking the Railway Ministry, some of Metro Railway employee (who used your name and try to show, they are not dare anybody, coz they are in your Union) in Tollygunj Medical Unit became rude, try to always insult or dis-respect to the Retrd. employee / Senior Citizen, which is very hurtful to me. While senior citizen visit to medical unit to take the medicine they try to harrased them. They are proud to behave such way.
                              I'm surprised to see this event. Some days ago such event was happened in front of me, while I went to Tollygunj Medical Unit with my friend to take regular medicine of his parents who were serviced in railway for more than 30 years, and I was surprised to hear due to such rudeness, his parents stop to come collect medicine from Medical unit. That day I also faced such event, one of present employee (latter on I knew from other person abt him) rudely behaved with a Senior Citizen and Retrd Employee while he(Retrd Person) told them to do hurry, coz he was ill. Then tht employee try to assault him and gave thread.
                              As a human being I would like to say, pls you look after to that medical Unit. Tht event was very hurtful. I think, if such events are occured in regular basis, the Retrd Employees are stopped to take such previledge. Hope, that was not the aim of Railway Ministry. I know, you and your management never allow such rude employees who are not able to give respect to their seniors (in respect of age and service).
                              So, I request you, pls look after such matter, and assured us, in future such event not be happened.
                              We have lots of faith to your justice, hope you will take care in such event.

                              exp.They were alloted confirmed berths in S8
                              coach(no.33, 34, 36, 39, 40)

                              On[protected] students found one coach marked S5/S8 and boarded in
                              that, there were no other coach marked with either S5 or S8 in the
                              train.Subsequently TTE came for checking the tickets and told the
                              students that the coach is S5 and he has chart for S5 which does
                              not have their names.TTE also not clarified regarding existance of
                              S8 coach or adjustment of passengers of S8 coach in other reserved
                              coaches, instead he thretended that" your tickets may be cancelled
                              if you want to be in S5/S8 coach I will give berth to all with the
                              payment of Rs. 250 per head or i will impose the penality for
                              all, other wise all of you get down from the coach on next stop".

                              On next stop students got down from S5/S8 and enquired in other
                              coaches including in A.C. coaches for auto upgradation but to the
                              surprise none of the TTE's responded to help the young students in
                              positive manner, then students boarded in general coach.

                              This raises some serious issues about functioning of railways, its
                              behavioural aspects and integral functioning-

                              1.If S8 coach was not in the train how confirmed tickets were booked.

                              2.If S8 coach was removed for some reasons why berths were not adjusted
                              in other coaches with information to all TTE's of the train.

                              3.WHY a coach was marked with S5/S8 if the TTE is having only list for
                              S5 coach with no. of vacant berths to adjust with Rs. 250 per head.

                              4. With the confirmed reservation students had suffered whole night
                              please enquire the matter and give justice to the sufferers.

                              5.Lack of information to the TTE's regarding reservation, reservation
                              status, reserved coaches, adjustments if any then who else will help in
                              the running train to the needy passengers.

                              6.Young innocent students were not guided properly but instead asked
                              for money and threatended to penalise as without ticket.

                              Kindly let us know why the proper berths were not alloted with
                              respect to the above information. Awaiting for your early response.

                              iam a serving military officer my name is LIEUTENANT COMMANDER SUKRITY DAS posted at Mumbai. I was travelling by Amarkantak express (train no.2854) from Jabalpur to Raipur vide PNR no.[protected] on 25 sep 09 by coach A1/Class 2AC. At around 6 a.m on 26 sep 09 i discovered that by RED COLOUR TROLLEY BAG (SKY BAG) with a small lock MISSING from seat no. 17/18 (SL/SU BERTH). All my belongings were lost. I must reiterate that public has tremendous faith on railway authorities especially on the ticket Controller and the coach attendents, but after this incident i feel there is a nexus between the railways personnel deputed on trains and the thugs. Dear sir as i lost all my personal belongings i was deeply agitated mentally and just because iam a armed forces personnel i drove myself to complain and lodge an FIR with CONDUCTOR and GRP Raipur much against their resistance.

                              I lodged my complaint with the ticket controller Mr. NBS Narayana, Conductor, Durg (Mobile no. [protected]) vide complaint no. 096716 dated 26 Sep 09 and FIR No. 0/65/09 dated 26 Sep 09 with GRP, RAIPUR. May i request the authorities to quickly react, rather act to take stern action against those responsible for such callous and slack attitude. I would also like to appeal to the railway authority to find my luggage and compensate me for the mental agaony i underwent for the same. I would like to follow up my complaint on weekly basis, if no action is taken within a fortnight i would complaint to Railway minister against the authorities responsible for the same. They told that it will be functioned from Sep.2009. But no steps are taken to function the from Kumbakonam to Chennai. Our lions club of Kumbakonam has also sent a letter requesting for early action.

                              With due respect, I take the liberty to interrupt upon your valuable time, in connection with the train from Ranchi to Guwahati and back.

                              We been reading in the news papare about this train with great expectations since the days when Mr Lalu Prasad ji was the rail minister. That the present train plying between Ranchi to Alipurduar and back will be extended upto Kamakhya.
                              When Madam you MS Mamata Banerjee became the new Rly minister, after the new lokasabha was constituted, then also there was news that the refered train will start working upto Kamakhya from the month of november 09. However the month of November 09, came and about to leave us now. Yet the train is with no news.

                              Notwithstanding above issues can we request you to kindly do something about this train, and if possible kindly get the train inogurated by local state minister, if that is at all required. Alternatively rail officials of Maligaon or even Aam Janta with your grace, can inogurate and extend the facilty to general people.

                              I have booked a ticket on 17.9.2009 from Baroda To New Jalpaiguri dated 20.11.2009. The day I have booked the ticket was on waiting List no.1 & still today its still on the same status. Whats the use of booking the ticket so early when after even 2 months we are not greeting the ticket confirmed? Please look in to the matter seriously. My PNR No. is [protected]. Its very urgent for me to travel on the very same day.

                              With due respect I hereby inform you that I am a frequent traveler of Indian Railways and I need to travel a lot but on todays experience I really shocked. I was traveling by 2351 UP HWH – DNP Exp from Howrah to Patna on 23rd November 2009. PNR No: [protected] by AC Three Tier Coach No: AB-1 Berth No: 07, at around 4:15 Hrs on 24th November 2009 suddenly I wake up on shouting of some passengers in my coach and I found that some Passengers has caught an unknown person who was not a valid / authorized person to travel on same coach in red hand when he was trying to thief some goods of the passengers and at the same time there was no COACH ATTANDENT as well as TTI or Security Officials. After hitting that unknown person he said he get up into the train on the way where some passengers came down. After some time the TTI Mr. R N Prasad came and asked about the incident and we told him all the things then the Coach Attendant Mr. Bivash Kumar came and when we asked him where was he? He said he was on another coach and there was no Security till that time. After 45 minutes when train stopped in a small station 3 Security Personals (A Das was the In-Charge as he said) came and we informed then all as we asked to them where they were they said they were in Sleeper Class and also said they knocked many times to the doors but no one open the door. Now question is if the Security Persons are not be able to enter into AC Coach how the thief came inside the Coach in the middle of journey? If Security Personals really knocked the door where was the Coach Attendant? What is the Function of TTI in Train? I had already launched a complain (Sl No: 008806) against all and the incident and again I request you to kindly take this issue in a serious way to prevent such types of incident. We need to travel a lot in every time due to our nature of jobs if it happens we should have to avoid Trains as a result Indian Railway will face some critical situation on it. I request you kindly take action of the professionals whose name has been taken in above to obey their duty.

But at the same time railway agents can do booking online, but not we citizen. So it seems that railway blocks the site for normal people & the site works with agents.                               Hello (if someone spares few minutes to read the lines below),

                              I am using www.irctc.co.in for booking Railway tickets for last few years and was very satisfied with the service. I must agree IRCTC made life more easier if ticket booking is considered.

                              Surprisingly from last few months it is become impossible to login to IRCTC in first 30 minute, which is the prime time to book TATKAL tickets. Every thing turns back normal just after 30 minute to 45 minute but by then all tickets are booked. I repeated the same thing with different broadband connection, even at from a 2MBPS connection from my office (YES I reached office at 7:30 to experiment the same) but story is same. I strongly disagree that IRCTC servers are connected to a poor internet pipe so that it can’t handle so many simultaneous connections. But I strongly agree some other story behind the fact. I don’t know whether this is a right forum to bring it in attention, but I will not stop here. It is not only me who is facing the problem, I spoke to number of people working around me and my office (IT Sector, Kolkata), and all of they are having the same issue. We are meeting Ms Mamata Banerjee (some day in 8 AM in morning) with few high speed and low speed broadband enable Laptops to demonstrate what is happening. I am sure if it is publicized that day Server will be very fast, but we are proceeding accordingly. We are quite sure to get a ton of cooperation from Ms Banerjee ( As we here about her in media), and will be able to demonstrate the real case.

                              I therefore request you to take examplenary action towards these behaviours and acts, as these kinds of acts should not be happened in the future.

                              Tamilnadu has lacked so much in the railway map. The projects are very late and having very less number of trains and there is the one way all over the state from Chennai to Kanniyakumari. All the trains are always rush from Chennai to Madurai and only one train for all each South Tamilnadu destinations. Also from Bangalore we have only one train to South Tamilnadu. If we have another 1 train to South Tamilnadu via Tiruchi and Madurai means, that would be so good for us. Even we have the train from Bangalore to Madurai at 9.20pm. So we the South Tamilnadu people could reach our place in the Afternoon only. If we have a train starting in the evening at around 6.30 pm from bangalore on everyday then we can reach in the morning to our destinations.

                              With due respect i place my grievance to your kind knowledge that irctc website is not opening or it is very slow in the morning time[0800 am] especially while booking tatkal tickets and i am not able to book ticket. But with the agents the web page is normal and they can easily book the ticket and charging extra money[which is not a reasonable amount]. Why is it so mam. Kindly consider this matter and make ordinary people can book tickets from their homes.All Indians know you are bold and straight forward we believe u will do the needful. Thank you Mam.

                              Railway couch Fan not worked — No Action to the complaint made to the TEE

                              Dear sir, I have travelled on 9th May from Vijayawada to Ernakulam in 6327 Korba exp.with PNR no. [protected]. Just above my Berth, S6/56, which was a raised berth at the time of 3 berth system, the fan was not working in this peak summer. Others told me that from the originating station it was so.
                              However I have complained to the TTE who was in charge of the compartment and he phoned twice and nothing happened after that. he told me they say 'less no. of technical staff' . Hence at chennai it will be repaired. Again nothing happened. It was a torture for me to sit and sleep in the train, after paying the full fare of reservation. I don't know why Indian railways treat the passengers like this. I don't know why the authorities concerned do not do the needful for the passengers when they suffer. Kindly look in to it.                               I have problem with your reservation site when ever go for reservation we face problems as below

                              1. normally site open with great difficulty and after wasting 30 minutes
                              2. when login maximum time web page not found service not available.
                              3. after great difficulty if we signed in than fetching station takes 10-15 minutes
                              4. when after updating journey details when we click normally web page not found if found with a difficulty than availabilty/fare option not opens before 15 mints.
                              5. when we try Tatkal reservation at 8 am normally we fail to book due to these reasons and when site openes than all tatkal quta finished
                              6.It appeares that at 8 am some group o[censored]r department is doing something wrong with site for some unknown reasons.

                              why you dont take action so as site speed will be fast and we are not required to waste our valuable time?

                              I am not satisfied with you site even 1%.

                              I was travelling in train 7307 coach S6 berth No-7 PNR no- [protected] with family from banglore to solapur. At about 4:25AM on 3rd june morning, when train left shahabad station (Karnataka) and taken up speed, one unknown person (who was travelling in the same coach) snatched the handbag from me & jumped out from the running train. In the handbag 2 Nokia Mobiles, one sony ericson K810i mobile, sony camera, golden ornaments, house keys, cash 10, 000-12, 000 and misc were kept. Immediately i jumped out and tried to get follow him. He vanished in the crowd. Same was reported to shahabad (Karnataka) railway station master & Railway police after stopping the train by pulling the chain by one of the co-passenger. But he has not taken any complaint. The guard informed to railway police station Gulbarga (Karnataka) and called up the respective personnel and In the running train the complaint and FIR available with guard was filled with the help of coach TC and RPF/GR Mr. Yadav from Gulbarga (Karnataka) . Till today i havent received any communication on FIR NO or the person to be contacted for the same. Pl do the needful.

                              You are well aware Railway Ministry establishment is vast and one of the main and foremost employment creator in India. The railway network also third in the world.

                              The system of working has improved tremendously when compared to five years back period. Commuters of Indian Railways given free hands to book their tickets and most of the information are available on hand to commuters. However, IVRS facilitiy extended to commuters lacks certain things. For instance if a passenger has to book a ticket from a source station to destination station and there is no direct train available the passenger has to change at important terminus. For example : A passenger has to go to Thanjavur from Hyderabad he has to necessarily go via. Chennai or Bangalore or Coimbatore even though there is no connecting train available for onward journey purpose he/she has to book his ticket. When I contacted the reservation enquiry IVRS 131 or 135 they are not having on hand information about the fare based on the distance. However, if I go to Booking Counter personally I can get my ticket based on distance (This is known as telescopic booking) but this facility is not available on Internet. This type of telescopic booking facility can be made available on internet so that commuters can easily book their tickets for onward journeyand travel comfortably.

                              With this facility commuters will not have to pay extra charges. Pls. look into the matter.

                              Indian Railway Ministry is like ocean and its network is amazing. Indian Railway is creating large volume of employment in our country and provide large volume of revenue to Government of India.

                              The working style of the employees improved well when compared to previous decade. The commuters are well accustomed to modern booking system and save lot of time and made the travel much easy. However, I would like to inform you that IVRS enquiry is lacking certain things. Suppose a passenger wants to go to Thanjavur from Hyderabad there is no direct train available and the passenger has to necessarily go via. Chennai, Bangalore or Coimbatore to undertake his onward journey by changing another train. To book direct ticket Railway Enquiry is not able to provide the fare details based on distance. This system was available earlier when the enquiry was manual. If the passenger go to Railway Reservation Counter he can get the ticket right from the Source Station to Destination Point (This system is called as Telescopic Booking as Railway Reservation Counter officials) and this facility is not available on Internet. Please make it available on internet and also update your IVRS Enquiry System by including the distance fare. This will help a lot for Railway Commuters.

                              Please look into the matter though it is a small information but much helpful to commuters of long distance.

                              You are well aware Indian Railways has made tremendous development and Guage Conversion has taken momentum in all places by eleminating the meter guage. For this purpose Indian Railways spending huge amount but do you think that the converted lines are fully utilised by railways and is there is any study how many passengers are making use the newly converted Railway Lines? For example, Guage Conversion work taken in the main line as well as Chord Line of Chennai Egmore to Tiruchirapply about five years back when Mr. Manmohan Singh was made as Prime Minister and the Chord Line conversion had been completed within a span of six months but the main line conversion had taken more than five years time. The delay was mainly because some of the Central and State Ministers were plying luxury buses from deep south to Chennai and earned huge volume of money during the past five year. This is rediculous and not acceptable because the main line public were suffered like anything and taken about 18 hours to reach Chennai by train as against the travel time of four and a half hours to six hours.

                              Since the gauge conversion is over and the line is open for passenger traffic now it is pained to note that the Southern Railway is not showing interest to run express trains in the main line. Only three trains are being operated in this line. People need Shatapdi Express and Superfast Train in this line between Chennai Egmore to Tiruchirapally via. Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam and Thanjavur minimising the travel time to five hours.

                              I am confident that you are well aware that Thanjavur and Tiruchi are the main places and considered as Trade Centre in South these places are to be connected to the Capital of Andhra Pradesh - Hyderabad by introducing a Superfast Train to Thanjavur or Kumbakonam via. Mahabubnagar, Kurnool, Kadapa, Renigunta, Arakonam, Katpadi, Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur and Tiruchy without touching Chennai. Alternatively, a day Duranto Express is much useful via. Nalgonda, Guntur, Tenali, Gudur, Chennai Egmore, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur and Tiruchy. Please include a new train in your forthcoming budget and happy the Kumbakonam and Thanjavur public happy.

                              Pls. don't concentrate on West Bengal alone.

                              firstly all the very best for your railway budget for this year. Now coming to the point, i belong to karnataka and particularly bangalore, our state has been neglected like hell inspite of being a globally recognised, people have introduced trains from bangalore to suit the needs and comforts of people outside karnataka and not for the people of karnataka... let me take the best example bangalore mysore sector... this should have been the most best onces in our state but sadly every train except shatabdi takes nothing less than 3 hours 10 mins for a distance of 140 kms, forget about line doubling which is a distance dream. i think you as a minister should travel on this route in an express train atleast once to know the hands off difficulties faced by daily office going travellers in this route. hope you will reduce the travelling time and also make the timing of shatabdi convienent it leaves bangalore at 11 and leaves mysore at around 2.15 not at all helpful.

                              As you know Train name is Bandra patna train no. 19049 are going every monday to patna and same train patna bandra (train no. 19050) returning to bandra, train depature from bandra and next stop at boriwali then next vapi and same stoppage in the returning, everyone are telling in boisar, palghar, dhanu stop will be must at boisar due to more person from bihar, u.p. and m.p. are working at tarapur m.i.d.c, b.a.r.c., and palghar m.i.d.c., so more people are going by local train to vapi and then caught train at vapi, that is so difficult talk for lady and old person. so that we all boisar person requested to you please try to give stoppage at boisar or palghar so that passanger can go easly. so long distance beetween boriwali and vapi., i[censored] want u can remove stoppage at boriwali..

                              I Hail from Bangalore, As promised in your last year railway budget you had proposed to introduce DURONTO from yeswanthpur to Delhi but sadly till today its not introduced at all and your this year's budget is shortly due. And also i feel our state KARNATAKA is neglected very badly for example BANGALORE-MYSORE, BANGALORE-MANGALORE, BANGALORE-HUBLI, the doubling of bangalore - mysore is at a snails pace. the speed of train esp between bangalore and mysore is around 3hours and even more than that where as the distance is just 140kms. Madam will you kindly look into this and solve it so that Lakhs and Lakhs of daily Office going travellers between Bangalore- Mysore will heave a sigh of relief.

                              1)All the time i.e. thoughout the year irrespective of the season, the ticket is full and is not able to get confirmed ticket from the reservation counter even before 90 days i.e. since from opening day of issue of ticket.

                              2)If anybody approaches Agent or Railway authority who will get confirmed ticket even on the previous day of their traveling day with extra amount..

                              3)Since last Two months Railway web site can open only Agents and other concerned agencies and for the public it is not functioning..

                              4)Internet booking system is very very slow or it is not functioning and under this system nobody can get confirmed ticket and by the time it became operative the ticket might be full,

                              5)From the public, booking clerk will accept only one form for reservation whereas from the Agents’ people they will accept as many as forms they are bringing and they will spend their maximum time to check the available ticket from various stations as various trains. That means for Agents’ people it reservation counter is reservation-cum-enquiry counter and this booking clersks are not bothered about the long queue.

                              These are the main problems we are facing. Kindly look into it.

                              My father was ex employee of Indian railways and retired from the post of Head TTE from northern railways lko in year 1993.My mother Smt prem lata sharma is not well since 16/9/2008 and is under treatment since then her medical refernce No is RBLHS-010026, she was referred to SGPGIand KGMC for further treatment by DK VERMA earlir we were getting medicine whatever is been suggested by KGMC SCIATRIC doctors but these days Lko Indoor hospital refused to give medicine and told us that u have to purchase the medicine from outside and no Local Purchase will be done for the medicine required and the railway is not going to pay anything for that since then she is being betrayed for medicine that is required and the railways do not have the alternate medicine for that

                              Pls look into this matter as she will be requiring medicine uptill last breath of her life she is now 72years old.pls help her

                              I, along with my colleague, traveled in Garib Rath Train as per following details:-

                              1. Mumbai-Delhi by Train No.12909, Dt.21.04.2011, PNR No. [protected]
                              2. Delhi-Mumbai by Train No.12910, Dt.24.04.2011, PNR No. [protected]

                              We booked our ticket well in time. During our journey we experienced lot of inconvenience due to -

                              1.Lots of waitlisted passengers were there in the coach. TTE did not stop them in spite of our repeated request. These extra passengers were found sleeping on the floor of the coach by occupying every inch available space and causing avoidable inconvenience to other passengers who had confirmed tickets. On enquiry from one of the waitlisted passengers, we were told that each passenger has paid Rs.700/- to Rs.1200/- per passenger in cash extra to TTE and they cannot be denied to travel in the coach.

                              2.No sweeper attendant was available to clean coach / toilet and causing inconvenience to passengers. You are requested to please take appropriate action to ensure–
                              a)Waitlisted passengers are not allowed to enter the coach.
                              b)TTE is not allowed to collect extra money and to promote corruption.
                              c)Ensure sweeper service within the coach and toilet.

                              I await your immediate action.

                              hi , sir even i m fed up with this procedure followed by railways ... i had booked my bike on 29/4/2011 from pune to ahmedabad with lt no. b254178... even with the continous follow up with the procedure ,it has not yet reached ahmedabad.. when my friends go for an enquiry they simply say that it has been loaded, bt they dont clarify it .. what to do , private agencies would have done it in low cost as compared to this.... and the damage they do to it is still not calculated by me... it is hero honda karizma r ,with no. mh 12 fh 2304.... kindly help me out with this ....

                              IRCTC and railway booking office, agents are earning lot of money by corruption.It is surprising agents are able to book tickets from anywhere. Surprisingly, tatkal seat 160 are booked in 10 minutes.You should encourage e tickets at least 50% of taykal seat.you can people are placing forms and going home one day before and 80% of those forms are from agents.railway security and booking employee and involved.Your employees are not working honestly.You are running this dept worst than your sucesser Mr. lalooo.wake up.Think of big and serve honestly.
                              What a disgusting procedure is there in Indian Railways. People who book ticket before two months are not able to get the confirm ticket & people who book in tatkal are able to get the tickets. Is is justified.

                              Also if rule is their that E-Ticket passenger with Wating list should not travel. Then why there is no automatic refund of complete money? Why there is ridiculous procedure of TDR that also 50% is refunded. Is railway so interested in earning money from people who are not even travelling?

                              This is the sure injustice done
                              many of the railway officials should improve their behaviour with passengers. they should realise that they are public servers. corruptions should stop at all levels. they are paid handsome salary & allowances (if any).
                              public should also behave in a proper way with respect with the railway staff.

                              As per railway's rules Tatkal ticket can be earliest booked only two days before the date of journey. So, on 01-06-11 one can't book tatkal ticket for 04-06-11. Kindly see below the status of the available berths in tatkal kota for 04-06-11.

                              for not buying platform ticket, railway employee charges excess fine. that is for 3 Rs ticket the fine is Rs 320. they dont give a proper receipt too. the receipt says it is for excess fare and luggage charge. this happened in coimbatore junction. and after reading all complaints i come to know that this type of fraud takes place everywhere.

I saw chart after reparture of train, it was not present on notice board. Many passengers are walking to and fro to get the chart status. There was no senior officer in office eg. YADAV JI. all staff were tell to get status from room 1 to 6-8. What is this sir? I think that there was many dalals on station like TTE who don't want to paste chart on notice board so they earn money from passengers.                               I am frequent traveler of Indian Railways. Hence I have few concern against the railways system which I fill it should bring it to railways authority notice by knowing or unknowingly.
                              · Now TATKAL Ticket Facility not for general public, it’s completely amenities for Broker or Agent, At 8:01 getting ticket WL10/20, Same time if I give to any Agent will get confirm ticket at 12noon. Why these?

                              · Bangalore Kolkata needs few more regular train services, since in Bangalore more than 10 Lakes Bengali and 4 Lakes Biharies live here and travel to Kolkata time to time.

                              · For others existing all Trains need to add few more bogies during season or rush time, Also no TATKAL bogies available now a days too. No proper process or system going on.

                              · Now a days the compartment not cleaning properly nor maintain properly. Rats and cockroaches jumping everywhere is side the compartments. Many sleeper beds are so old, not able to sleep sometime.

                              · My last but not least question is why railways giving ticket TATKAL WL up 100 or more? Why so? Is this for railways revenue generation for taking 20 rupees from each passenger. Railway clearly mentaion WL passenger not entair to any reserve bogies etc. Why all these?



                              As an Indian I have civil rights to ask these questions. WHY so much problem passenger suffer every day? WHEN these action items will get effective? I think railways authority can fix these issues immediately, please use proper process to make this service better.

                              The best way to travel long distance in India is Indian Railway. But due to corruptions going on ticketing life has become very uncomfortable with railway. If you want to buy ticket from ticket window one hardly get's it. My father bought reservation ticket after trying for 4 days that too waiting. Matter of fact is the waiting no. was 387 when he had the ticket. On 16th DEC at 2 pm the waiting was 350, on 17th DEC 01:00 pm it was 287 and on the same day at 03:00 pm the ticket was confirmed just before 2 hrs of journey. What i want to point is that due you think sir that these many people would have cancelled their journey? This is a huge racket of dumping tickets by agents. Booking station- Deoria sadar (UP), Train name Tapti Ganga exp. Specially Gorakhpur, Deaoria Sadar, Salempur...it is very very hard to get reservation tickets.

A919802 . it has not yet received yet . and railway parcel authorities did not give any satisfactory response . i want to knw how much time they will take to deliver my bike ..

                              I have no other option to file the TDR in the last hour bearing Reference no.ekt[protected] and its PNR NO.is [protected] booked no 13/09/2011 and journey date was fixed on.16/09/2011.After a gape of four and a half months, the Railways authority disallowed to refund the amount.Though the e-ticket was booked on online.I do not know the reason why the Railway Authority has rejected my legitimate demand under Railway norms.I want the refund our hard earned money.They should have understood it.I want their full hearted co-operation that I may get the refund.

This shows that server is kept down intentionally so that tickets are sold in black.World is moving forward but we are going from bad to worse.I want to tell the hon'ble railway

                              Whenever we go for online booking for Tatkal reservation from home, website never gives proper response. To book one ticket it takes more than 45 minutes or many times website get hanged and post spending our so much valuable time not able to get ticket. Please look in to this.

                              I Ashish kumar mishra, s/o sunit kumar misra from hyderabad booked a confirmed jouney ticket in train no 12591( PNR NO [protected] & [protected]) lucknow to secuderabad dated 07/07/2012. As i could not continue the journey due to my exams, I wanted to transfer my ticket to my fathers name on 22/06/2012 at kachiguda(8.00Am to 9.30Am) and secunderabad(10.00Am 10.30Am) station but chief reservation supervisor refused to do that and asked us to go to ACM/DCM Mr. Raju sir at Sanchalan bhavan(11.00Am till lunch) at secunderabad. there they told us that it will take 2 to 3 hours for the same even though we submitted all the required documents like adderss and ID proof etc.. we sat there leaving our important works.

                              but as per the change of name rules given in the Indian Railway website (http://www.indianrail.gov.in/change_Name.html) its given that the Chief Reservation Supervisor of important stations are authorized by Railway Administration to permit the change of name of a passenger with confirmed seat/birth.

                              when we requested them for quick work they started to shout on us and told that " go and file a complaint to anybody"
                              we were very much troubled there.

                              On 3/12/2012 I was travelling by New Delhi- Puducherry express(22404) in a general coach located just before guard's coach.I felt a little nap between Bhopal and Itarsi railway stations. After passing Itarsi railway station when I woke up, my blue coloured trolley suitcase below my birth, was not there.The suitcase contained my important papers, a medical camera and some surgical instruments, clothes which I bought for my children and a cheque book of my company. When train halted at a small station after I repoted the matter to the Guard. Guard told me that I had no option bit to complain at Nagpur station and miss the train.When the train reached Nagpur, I lodged the comlaint vide FIR No. 00/12 dated 03/12/2012. After that I caught another train and reached chennai, the next day. After reaching Chennai I contacted Inspector R B S Kusba of GRP Itarsi, on night on 04/12/2012. He had no idea of any FIR.I had lodged FIR in Nagpur instead of My destination Chennai, in the hope of getting fast action. But in 24 hours time the FIR had not been informed to the concerned GRP office.Mr Kusba assured me of his help.
                              I want to request the Railway Ministry to make system so that the concerned ofice is informed immediately regarding the complaint and there should be a complaint monitoring mechanism to initiate a fast action.
                              I request the concerned authorities to take suitable action regarding my loss and make the system more prompt and responsible

                              बहुत ही आदर सहित निवेददन करता हूँ कि मैं बार्डर ज़िला फ़िरोज़पुर का निवासी हूँ।मुझे यह लिखने के लिए इस कारण मजबूर होना पड़ा है कि किस तरह रेल के अधिकारी देश के सीनियर सिटिजन की हेल्प करने की बजाय उन के साथ बुरा व्यवहार कर रहे हैं? हर रोज़ हमारे मंत्री साहिबान विदेशों के दौरे इस लिए लगाते हैं कि भारत को विकासशील देशों के मुकाबले पर खड़ा किया जा सके।जिस तरह अमरीका, कनाडा, जापान में नागरिकों को सहूलतें दीं जातीं हैं उस से हमारा भारत देश पीछे न रहे।परन्तु हमारा यह स्वप्न शायद स्वप्न ही न रह जाये।
                              पीछे मैं अपने लेख में लिखा था कि "कहीं सरकारी विदेशी दौरे धन की बरबादी तो नहीं?"मुझे लगता है कि शायद यह लेख सही लिखा था।कारण हमारे भारत देश में इंनसान कम और मानव ज़्यादा रहते हैं शायद जिस कारण किसी इंनसान की इस देश में कोई कद्र नहीं क्यों कि इंनसान और मनुष्य का फासला बहुत ज़्यादा है।
                              यह पत्र लिखने का मेरा मकसद यह नहीं कि यह जुर्माना क्यों लगाया गया है बल्कि इस लिए कि अगर किसी व्यक्ति का किसी विशेष डिब्बे में बैठना मना है तो उस डिब्बे में किसी रेल कर्मचारी की डियूटी क्यों नहीं लगाई गई और अगर ड्यूटी पर तैनात था तो उस ने सीनियर सिटिजन व्यक्तियों को क्यों गाईड नहीं किया गया।
                              हैरानी मुझे यह देख /सुन कर हुई कि इस विशेष डिब्बे में कोई बूढ़ा व्यक्ति, जिस के पास मेल ट्रेन की टिकट हो, फिर भी नहीं बैठ सकता परन्तु इस डिब्बे में रोज़मर्रा की सफ़र करने वाले लोग जिन्हों ने रेल पास तीन महीने का बनाया हुआ था चाहे तीन महीने का किराया सिर्फ़ ३०० या ४०० रुपए ही दिया हो, बहुत ही शान के साथ बैठ सकते हैं।यह मेरे शब्द नहीं बल्कि यह शब्द उस रेल अधिकारी /कर्मचारी के हैं जो एक लड़की और एक लड़का (सिक्ख जैंटलमैन) थे।जो शायद रेल अधिकारी /कर्मचारी हों जो[protected] को लगभग प्रातःकाल 9-00 बजे जम्मू तवी रेल में आए थे।उन की तरफ से जारी रसीद की कापी मैं इस पत्र के साथ भेज रहा हूँ।इस ही डिब्बे में कम से कम 50-100 व्यक्ति बैठे थे परन्तु पूछने पर उस लड़की अधिकारी ने जवाब दिया कि उन्हों ने रेल विभाग को तीन महीनो का किराया अडवांस दिया है।
                              क्या सीनियर सिटीनज जिस के पास सही टिकट है, के साथ इस तरह का व्यवहार करने के लिए उन को विभाग की तरफ से गाईड लाईन दी जातीं हैं?
                              किसी सीनियर सिटिजन जिस के पास सही टिकट हो की मदद करने की बजाय इस तरह का व्यवहार करने का अधिकार उन को किस ने दिए हैं?
                              क्या ये पास होलडरज़ को किसी भी डिब्बे में चाहे वह आरक्षण का हो या फस्ट क्लास का सफ़र करने का अधिकार किस विभाग /अधिकारी की तरफ से दिए गए हैं?
                              क्या विदेशों में किसी सीनियर सिटिजन के साथ इस तरह का व्यवहार किया जाता है? या सिर्फ़ मंत्रियों /अधिकारी दुारा तफरीह करने के लिए विदेशा दे दौरा किये जाते हैं?
                              कृपा करके इस केस की पड़ताल कराने की कृपालता की जाये जिससे हमारे जैसे ओर सीनियर सिटिजन जो मजबूरीवश सफ़र करते हैं, ख़ुद रेल में सवार ही बहुत मुश्किल के साथ होते हैं, को कभी मुसीबत का सामना न करना पड़े जब इन जैसे सिर फिरे अधिकारी आ जाएँ जिन को अपने बाप जितनी उम्र के व्यक्ति की मदद करने की बजाय जुर्माने इकठ्ठा करने का शौक हो।

                              Kindly treat this letter as a complaint letter from my end. Last week Me and my Family (my husband and kid) were travelling back from kerala (ernakulam) to Bangalore and my hand-Bag got robbed in the train. PFB the details:

                              The incident happened on 15th, October 2013 around 5:30 AM, we were in Train #: 16316 seat: 7, 8. The Bag Contained 20 Grams 2 gold chain, 4 Grams 1 bracelet, 8 Grams earring, cash amount of 4000Rs., 2 mobile, RC book, Pan Card and My ATM cards.

                              The bag was very much with till around 4; 00 AM. Around 5:30 when I woke up and saw the hand bag was missing from my place. We realized the same when the train was in Tirapatur station. The most annoying part was that the train isn't having any TT or any police patrol. We then called the Control room and they called us back when we reached Krishnarajapuram, Bangalore stating that the Bag must be very much in the train as the tower of the two mobile phones in the train is moving with the train. We tried from our end to search no gain.

                              Later we reached Majestic and went the police station there and they ignored to take the complaint stating that the same is in the Bangalore Contoment Police jurisdiction. We then went to the Contonment police station and then took the complaint, with a lot of ignorance. The police had no courtesy to even help us. They just did it for the heck of doing it.

                              The Complaint was given on 15th October, 2013. However, the FIR was filed only on 16th October, 2013, FIR #: 0084. On 18th when we went to collect the FIR from the Contonment police station, they didn't even know where the same was placed and almost took 30+ minutes to track the same and handover. First of all we are lost as we were robbed and on that the ignorance that the Police show to us is the most annoying part. The saw called as service and commitment was not even there in any behavior of theirs. After lodging the complaint the police personal told me that they transferred the compliant to Jolarpet police station and somebody will come for enquiry. But till today nobody came for enquiry and I didn't get any information about the same.

                              Request you to kindly look into this matter and help us in tracing our belongings. Need your support and co-operation in this matter.

A/c coaches in 12845 Bhuba neswar --yashvantpur train and the HALTING time at Bramhapur should be5 minutes rather than 2 minutes.It becomes maore difficult to board withbag and bagagges .Secondly, some trains have no stoppoge at Bramhapur station--like gurudev express and some more.Please make arrangements for stoppage of these trains at Bramhapur.

                              With Due to Respect I wish to aware you that I am an orthopedic handicapped candidate. I passed written exam of group d recruitment. Against Notification RRC/D/2010.
                              I have also qualified medical test .and Document verification.
                              The list issued by RRC of provisional panel contains my name.
                              Final List issued by RRC on date 31/07/2013 of 77 candidates posting unit allotted has also my name .Lucknow division allotted to me.
                              But when I reached for confirmation. Then officers told me that your dossier is not reached here .you should go to Gorakhpur.
                              I did the same I went four times Gorakhpur RRC Office. Then from RRC office gave me a form and asked for documents.
                              I did all the formalities as their require .but from last three months I am going to Lucknow for confirmation but they are still saying your dossier is not reached.
                              Sir I have tired now so I am writing you. I am handicapped & Unemployed & belong to a poor family I have really need of this job.

                              We have observed, noticed & experienced ourselves when whenever we are travelling that local travellers have to suffer problems, insults & fights too arises with the pass holders who aboard the gujrat to mumbai trains from stations like : umargaum, dahanu, boisar, palghar, safale in trains like gujarat express, flying ranee, valsad fast passenger, shuttles ex- gujarat to virar etc. ex - gujarat heading to mumbai central to reach office in south mumbai.

                              The passholders do not allow the local commuters to sit in the mst or pass holder wagon in these trains at all & make them get up & stand by quarreling, grumbling & even fighting hand to hand along with their colleagues who travel in groups from these destinations for work to mumbai.

                              But sir, please advise us about what about the passsengers who are sitting in general coach and have occupied their own seats/berths from their far off boarding destinations in the general class or samanya coach, their too these mst or passholders too use their same tactics, pressure & power with their colleagues to make the sitting people stand forcefully & occupy their berths without making any efforts by themself in searching for another berth / seat.in the general coach statingthat " yeh mera seat hai tum kahin aur bandobast karo, chalo utho seat khali karo, chal uth re" etc. these are the words used by the pass holders.
                              .
                              Sir will this continue forever and their will be any stoppage to such harrassements or else the poor middle class and silent people will have to obey these passholders rough attitude in these trains forever,

                              Dear sir, this has be stopped at some point by law or else big commotions can take place in any of these trains on the issue of harrasments of these passholders in the general coach too.

                              Mr. Railway minister.There are a lot of complaints.
                              1.How people are giving confirmed seats of any train on the main stations of India . For example New Delhi station.Anyone can easily identify these type of middlemen. If I can identify them then why not police & railway officials.They can be found easily at the current reservation counter at Paharganj side.
                              2. Kindly enquire about it as people are paying to TTE who travel in Rajdhani Express from Kolkata/Howrah/Sealdeh. You do not need to book a ticket. Bribe the TTE and you can easily get the birth & al other facilities.It mostly happen at Dhanbad. Do you believe the railway officials do not know it. Or the local railway police do know it.Which is easily detectable.
                              3. I have seen in Sapt Kranti Express which runs between Muzaffarpur to Anand Vihar Terminal.On 11th of June I was travelling in .I found that the agency which has got the contract for cleaning the train may be VISHAKHA. Their people was in train.Doing nothing.They have sold their 2 allotted seats to passengers on the way and earned about Rs.3000.00 in all. What is this.I know your TTE knows al these things. Even I can identify these people.Some of them were native of Muzaffarpur.
                              4. I have seen your TTE selling seats in premium trains and earning money.I do believe that if railways tighten the screw on TTE and do not let them do these things railways earning must increase by 30 to 40%. Your TTE . Your parcel booking team is cheating India. Mother India. If you will not take stern action against them your dream of achchhe din aane wale hain will remain a dream.
                              5.The facilities in trains are inadequate.If your superfast trains are running as with the speed of less than 75km average speed.Then why superfast charge.This is again a cheating. Your railway traffic controllers are careless. They halt the trains unnecessarily.If you can control these uncompetent people in traffic control.You can save a lot money which gone waste in fuel or elecricity.
                              5.At last I suggest do checks frequently at different statins you can find out the misdeeds of railway people.
                              6. You know anyone can use the people of pantry cars to send goods any where in India. can you not control that.May be on a given day a terrorist can put explosives .And presume what will happen then. If I need a ID proof for a confirmed ticket then why not I need a ID card for waiting tickets if I am traveling by the train.If I get my ticket prepared by the TTE inside the train.Why he is not asking for ID proof.
                              7. Do you know that the middlemen arrange the tickets and also get the fake ID card prepared. These middlemen will be the cause of blast in future in trains if not been checked.
                              8. People from UP/Bihar/Jharkhand/Orissa/West Bengal & Assam area traveling in trains inhuman conditions.As trains are so crowded that they have to travel seating in toilets.Kindly arrange trains for them so that if there is long waiting list in two trains going in same direction.Do arrange a new train. Also look at the running of special trains. Which runs late by 24 hours in normal circumstances. Even your premium trains are running late by 3 to 6 hours.

                              So, sir if you want that the dream of Narendra Modi should become a truth.You need to act fast or leave your post for someone else who can delover the goods.However I know you can do it.

                              I am a citizen in south India. In the stations all the ready to eat items are selling higher than the MRP of the item. For an instance water bottle of Rs.15/- is selling at Rs. 20/- alike soft drinks, eatables etc. Please keep an eye and take appropriate action.

                              Dear Sir,

                              This is the azhar khan, I am from sohagpur Dist hosangabad, Madhya Pradesh. I want to bring to you kind attention that
                              Sohagpur and its near village population are 3 lakh aprox. in recent assembly election it has more than 1 lakh voters.
                              There are only 12 trains are staying, 10 trains has a stoppage since 40 years, only two trains was increased last 40 year.
                              My complain is trains has not increased according the population increased according the public demand.
                              In spite of these huge population, there are only few trains stoppage. More than 500 students goes to Bhopal and indore as well but we don’t have sufficient trains for this station.
                              None of direct train for New Delhi inspite of trains goes same route.
                              I don’t have idea what is the criteria behind the stoppage of the trains. I would request you kindly provide us more than 5 trains stoppage that goes from sohagpur station.

                                May i know the railways has started the tatkal seva for the agent and the booking clerk to make money or for the general passenger as it is in the case of Pune station reservation Booking counter as it is occupied by all the agent and black marketer as it is a home for them and with the co-operation with the RPF persons and Booking clerk they make it is imposible for the general public to get the Ticket in the Tatkal Seva.
                                Kindly look into the Matter.

                                I completely agree to the point that the common man is unable to take advantage of this scheme directly.
                                In order to get a tatkal ticket either he has to pay a big amount to agents or he has to struggle a lot.
                                And most of the times, former is the case :(

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  We would like to bring in your kind notice that we have observed that there is a big mobile tower is been installed just beside the railway track between aishbagh railway station and city station lucknow, to be more presise between berihana railway crossing and before the over bridge of rakabgunj, the house is newly constracted, and is one of the bussinessman(Mr Laxmi Shanker Awasthi), whoes only intrest is to earn money, ...on what cost..the railway track is just very close to the house, encrochment has also been done, as an alert individual we are placeing this information, the house of the concern is situated at kundri rakabgunj, lucknow, 226004, the tower is not safe because this is a low line area, water logging is one of the major problem, n vibration will effect the tower, which can end up in an accident, two lines are passing on is of broad line to gorakhpur and the othe line is going to haldwani,
                                  we again request to you to kindly look in to the matter so that accident can be stop.

                                  I have booked the return ticket from Tuticorine to chennai on 28.9.09 and the ticket has not been confirmed on 28.9.09 (PNR No[protected]. we checked the status through online and we tried to cancel the ticket at nearest rly station at tiruchendur but the counter at tiruchendur has closed at 5.30pm. we enquired the same counter and they asked us to go to tuticorine Rly station on 29.9.09. we went to Tuticorine on next day but they not cancelled.

                                  We tried the same in chennai mylapore Rly station but they also not cancelling.

                                  Rly dept getting lot revenue and this chilly amount can be refund...

                                    I was travelling on the Rajdhani August Kranti Train on 03-06-09 from Mumbai to Delhi. The quality of food being served is pathetic. This is not only my opinion but the opinion of almost all the passengers. The dinner was ok. But the sandwiches served as Cheese Sandwich had a small piece of cheese which tasted more like panner. Also the qulaity of bread was poor. Most o[censored]s threw away the sandwiches.
                                    Morning at breakfast time we were served idli and medu wada which had gone sour. When all o[censored]s complained the attendant said it was prepared just in the morning. We failed to understand that exactly on which morning it was prepared!!!
                                    So we request the railways to kindly check with the contractor regarding the qualit of food and make immediate improvements to the same.

                                    I am Anish j 25yrs old..working as an Engineer in TELK (Kerala state govt under taken)
                                    I am from Kerala ...I never travelled in any ac coaches of Indian railway...The criteria was the financial barrier nothing else...

                                    On 29th evening from TVC i requested from the ticket counter for one Rajadhani ticket to ERS.As per their insruction i contact the information centre and get the vaccant seat number and submitted to ticket counter .He issued me ticket from TVC-ERS worth 254/-..And he didnt give any clue that rajadhani fare is different from ordinary train fare..

                                    I was in a need to reach my office (TELK Angamally) before 12 midnight thats why i decided to pay this hefy amount.

                                    Information peoples also didnt give previous message about the fare and they simply told "you can sit in any compartment'..


                                    After getting in to the train..I got one bottle driking water and somee snacks to eat...A they are distributing to all with out any request i thought it would be the rajadhani custom so didnt asked about it.

                                    When the Ticket examiner came i showed him the ticket...He didnt tell any think but tell to go and meet another TTE of B5..Then i went there to see the TTE...That i think as one of the worse day in my life..because the TTE behaved so rudely that if i were a thief or a scounter...He talked in an abusive manner...He pushed me back...and beat me also...What a drity nature...Dont he have the responsibility to treat me..At least as a citizen of India...I feel pitty on that TTE i dont remember his name but a sikh with Turban...What will railway do if he might have put out from the running train..IS there exist any morality with the railway.. Lets hope for a good behaviour from the TTE like fellows...I actually decided to file a suit aginst a that TTE under Human rights clause...He not only abused me but also my senior Engineer aged 49.

                                    Its highly intolarable attitude from the railway in keeping such things there..
                                    I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SHARE A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE ABOUT BAD FOOD. THE FOOD SERVED IN RAJDHANI EXPRESS IS VERY BAD . I WENT WITHOUT FOOD FOR THE ENTIRE JOURNEY. THE RAILWAYS SHOULD PLEASE NOTE THE GRIEVENCES AND DO SOMETHING IMMEDIATELY OR SHOULD STOP CHARGING FOR THE FOOD AND ALLOW THE PASSENGERS TO MANAGE THEIR OWN FOOD.

                                    No point in blaming . because we have to live with this problem for ever if we depend on the vendors for food and beverages while travelling.Best course is to pack some home made food for your travelling. and some packaged snacks, biscuits, fruits and avoid the food from unhyegenic, substandard and overpriced vendors, till such time we revive our old Indian Tradition when food that is wholesome and hygenic was distributed to travelling public free in Dharamshalas, choultries, Temples, running on philanthropy and public donation. It is high time we revive this system. Indian railways and State Bus Authorities should provide some kitchen and serving space in Bus stops/Ralway Stations to some local NGOs or Temple Authorities/Charitable Trusts like ISCON who can provide hygenically prepared simple Food like Khichdi/Pulav, Roti -Alu, etc and consumin g public may be encouraged to make their offering in cash to support such food distribution . Travelling public will certainly appreciate/support such venture and generously contribute.Poor people will also benefit.Practice of ANNA DAANA (Gift of Food) to hungry is considered a very sacred act in our culture and we should revive this culture by creating required Infrastructure/Eco-system with public participation and Government support
                                    I was travelling with my wife on the Rajdhani August Kranti Train on 06-04-19 from Delhi to Mumbai. The quality of food being served is pathetic. This is not only my opinion but the opinion of almost all the passengers. But the Cutlet served with Bread and butter. I was eat the cutlet and surprise that the burned match box stick in side the cutlet and show another passenger and food manager / service man also shown the same and he took the cutlet piece and offering new Hot Cutlet with bread. I was denied the same because i was ometing in train and at our home and full day restless.

                                    So we request the railways to kindly check with the contractor regarding the quality of food and make immediate improvements to the same.
