Sub: Complaint against the corruption prevailing at the ticket counter
Respected Madam,
I saw the incident on 04.06.09 through TV about your love and affection towards the common people of India, where you are trying to help the injured motorbike rider with the first aid. I, the common man of India is impressed for the first time with a Politician and I congratulate you on performing and being such a great person and then being the Railway Minister.
This is the incident dated 26.05.2009 time 7.45 pm when I went to Ajmeri Gate side of Reservation counter after Charting to get a ticket in any train travelling towards east, I was in a hurry due to my mother’s illness and wanted to arrive and meet her at the earliest. I requested the person on duty aged between 25-30 years wearing spectacles at the counter to get me a ticket and handed over the duly filled form, however prior to this I have already checked through internet if the tickets are available after chartering and I was not sure but hopeful that I may be getting the ticket from the counter. I was surprised that instead of getting the information from the system or even looking at my form he told me that no tickets are available, I requested if ticket is available in any alternate train but he turned down my request.
I thought, he may not be in a good mood and changed the queue and went to another counter just beside to it, the person on duty was an old aged man, I asked to him also but he also replied in an ill mannered way.
While I was standing and thinking the person on duty at the first counter called me and asked me that if I am looking for an urgent ticket I can take the help of some Ticket brokers roaming at the counter, since I was in a deep need I got a ticket from one of the broker, I saw at least 4-5 brokers there starting from a teen aged boy up till the age of around 33 years. I got a Ticket bearing PNR[protected] the broker told me that the ticket is in the name of Mr. Deepak and in consideration I have to pay Rs. 800/- to him.
Since I have not complained and am keeping my identity undisclosed as it may cost my life and because I am aware of the fact that many big officials from your department and the Railway police may also be involved in keeping this gang operating and running they may change the area of operation but they will keep on running even taking the hardest steps against them till the corrupt officials are sitting on the chair.
In view that corrective measure will be taken for the sake of our country India and in building a healthy nation.
With Regards,
Vande Mataram

Sir regarding this i have sent all the hard copies of both certificates to Sri Sukumar Sanki Vigilance Officer kolkata and Sri Swapan Kumar Das, Chief Vigilance Officer kolkata with a application of all correct information.
Sir, but According to vigilance officers kolkata, i have to declare my name and address. sir i want to know, if any person will inform to VIG. railway about any corruption, it means he has to declare himself, but as i heard that VIG. railway interests to take information about the corruption, not about informer. And sir i said earlier that the candidate know me very well and if i will declare my name he mat disturb me in future. If vigilance officers wants, again i can post all the documents, then way railway wants to know who am i.
