Dear sir,

Today, my mother, 63 yrs, boarded from Singrauli (MP) station in AC2 (PNR No. - [protected]) for Jabalpur, she was traveling alone. I, aged 40 yrs, came to drop her, at station I found that no porter was available, so I decided to carry her luggage (2 nos. + 1 HandBag) myself, since on the way my car got punctured we reached station just in time.

She was allotted berth no. 40 (Upper), moreover, the door which was closer to the berth was locked and was not opened even on knocking, hence we had to use the other door. Somehow after adjusting her luggage, I got down to inform / request the TTE to allot a lower berth, who was standing in front of the next coach, he accepted my request, and assured me to change it after seeing the chart. I quickly, boarded the train to inform my mother about the same, in the meantime the train started moving, when I tried to get down the ACM Dhanbad, asked me to show my travel / platform ticket, I said I came to drop my mother and told him that I could not get it due to reasons, mentioned earlier, then he started using absurd language and did not allowed me to get down from the train and forced me to travel to next station. I tried to explain / convince him, instead he kept on rejecting it with abusive language and forced me to pay the fine, which I paid vide receipt no.B-013154 dated 17th April 2009.

I know that he was performing his duty and that I didn't take platform ticket, but does this mean that he has authority to use abusive & insulting language even when genuine reasons were being told to him, he must have inquired the other passengers or simply would have tried to used his intelligence to analyze the situation. It seems that training on passenger relations is not taught to such staff. I request to take disciplinary action against such misbehaving staff, so that they don't repeat the same.

Hi,

My dad- Mr. Atri Kr. Gupta bought a split AC from Cityco-dealer, 19 park market, hirapur, Dhanbad. and recently the cooling was very less. My dad gave call to customer service for a service and check. The service tech visited after a long time and charged the gas and charged Rs1300/-. When he left, my dad found that the water outlets has been damaged while check and the water is seeping inside the room wall. My dad again had to call Customer service and book an appointment to rectify it. No service tech has arrived as of yet and there is no track of the technicians. Even the dealer is not bothered about the product which has been sold to the customer. After spending 28000 rupees for an split AC and specially for a diabetic patient who needs AC all the time, and even customer service has been repeatedly requested for an early visit for the patient's need- No botheration has been found. IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL A GOOD SAMSUNG CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR YOUR SOLD PRODUCTS??????????????????? Kindly explain.

    I booked my ticket for Stabdi PNR Number[protected] on 15apr09 for departure date 16 apr09 from New Delhi to Ludhiana, wait list 113. To my dismal in last half an hour before departure of train my wait list was still 40. I went to refund window but due to heavy rush I had to return empty handed as just that time Shane punjab was ready to leave and there was chair car seat available which with difficulty I managed to board,
    On reaching Ludhiana I went to refund window and TT room for refund and they refused me on the ground that it could be done with 3 hours of train deprture.

    Now, this is harassment to traveler who had paid to railways and is denied to travel as its wait listed and railways refuse to refund the tickets.

    As the PNR status clearly reveals that its wait listed ticket so refund should be given as railways should not keep the money for which they could not provide the service,

    As the rule is too stringent to get refund in 3 hours as travel distances to reach the station is too much
    and costly or other person is aged or has different travel plans to make immediately on not getting the confirmation of ticket,

    In that case why 10-15 days time should be given by Indian railways to get his refund respectfully, peacefully and instead subjecting to harassment.

    The tickets of Shatabdi cannot be utilized to travel by another train so why refund is not given to the owner of ticket ?


    What harm it is to railways in not refunding unless their intention are malafide to harass and deprive passenger of his hard earned money.

    That strict punishment be given to railways so that they change the rule which are not friendly to consumers which allows railways to rob the passengers.

    Now a days its computerised booking and checking the status of passengers not boarding due to RAC or wait listed passengers be given full refund any where In India with relax time of 10-15 days of travel date .

    That millions passengers are cheated by the malpractice of refund system as every train has large number of wait listed pasengers whom the railways book as stand bye to their advantage by getting their money and putting the burden on them to get refund in a short 3 hours and to travel to railways stations for refund which is harassment who has lost money and travel programme to reach his destination.

    then how could railway treat a person travelled in whatever booking he has made, never met a TTR, then came for reimbersement after the journery?

    Indian Railways — Harassment and hence lost of money on a trip

    I had the worst experience of my life with Indian Railways today. The PNR No. in question are in the name of Mr. Vikas [protected] and [protected]. Mr. Vikas travelled by Paschim from Chandigarh to Baroda to pick up three computers(old not new purchase) to take them back to Chandigarh. The first issue is that the porters have colluded at Baroda(Vadodara) Railway Stattion and demand exhorbitant prices. They want Rs. 400 to move three computers to platform number 2. This price when converted to USD$ is higher than the price I would pay for a porter at the JFK airport in NY. So you can understand my reaction.
    Then comes the Railway Police force officer Mr. T Meena posted at Baroda station. He said we will have to weigh the computers and since its not clothes or edible material we are not allowed a deduction for free carriage upto 40+10 50 Kgs and we will have to pay for 90 KGs. I asked him to show me the rule book. He said he did not have the rule book and I should talk to his senior. I asked him to connect me to his senior. Well further he said that his senior was not free for me. He doesnt understand that railways is a business entity that pays him money for his services as a salary and not for harassing us. He colluded with a couple of TCs out there, if you grill him he will give you the names of the TCs as well. But the bottom line they wanted a charge for entire 90Kgs which I was arguing is not fair as the ticket allows a certain weight as free. He was not willing to show me the rule book nor was he willing to understand. Well all said and done I didnt have cash on me for 90Kgs but yes I did have it for 50 Kgs. Long story short my man left without the computers, the trip was a waste. Its only fair that railway
    1) Reimburses me for the travel expenses. SInce its a railway employees who harassed us.
    2) Pay us for the delay caused in business
    3) Take action against Meena and all those he colluded with.
    If it were me I would have deducted the amount from his pay chack and hahded it to a customer and transfered him. But here the decision is upto you and I hope you will take appropriate action. I cant be blamed if he doesnt know the rules or if he is pretendidng to not know and not produce the required docs when needed. He also mentioned his boss will come at 7.00 PM (1 Hour after the train leaves). Also I need a reimbursement of 300 that I paid to the porter.

    I checked the railway website after coming home 40+10 is legally allowed.

      Providing Tatkal tickets for emergency travellers by Railways is really appreciated but if we were supposed to cancel the tickets then the amount should be reimbursed similar to normal tickets.

      At present, since it is not being reimbursed many travellers are not cancelling it stating that standing in counters for no refund is wastage of time. Due to this the other emergency travellers are not able to obtain tickets since tickets are not cancelled and hence not reflected in booking system. Railways should try to reimburse the amount so that the last minute emergency travellers will be benefited as per the system 'Tatkal'.

      Complaint already lodged a week passed but there is no response . I think this consumer forum is for namely only. is any caditate got response. ? Once again i am acknoldeging my complaint.

      I had subitted my TDR on 16 th May TDR S.no B006363 issued by Sikar Head ticket collector sent to Jaipur Chief commercial Manager. My PNR no is[protected] Please let me know the latest status .

        Dear Airtel,

        Requesting for Waive off in the current monthly bill,

        My mobile outgoing blocked from 30/11/2009 at 12.00pm and its been active on 19/12/200 at 12.00pm, both have been done from Airtel, I am having a query that without my knowledge activated/deactivated the service and charged FULL MONTH RENTAL instead of I used the mobile for 10days (5 days before outgoing bar and 5 days before billing period) I am asking to the company that I want a waiver for that 20 days from when my OG barred, where I called to Customer Care and request to activate my no. for 2days and I was promised ready to pay the full rental i.e.3255/- as on 30/11/2009, when I it was very important for in month end because uncertainly my OG barred I have lost huge business and suffered a lot, check my usage and payment history from the day one of service activated, however I am ready to churn a line from your network to other service if I don’t get waiver from the Airtel. Hope I will get positive reply.

        I am an Ex-serviceman. My name Jyoti Basak. As per Employment Notification no. 0110. I was called for my document verification on 1st February 2011. After verification completed I was waiting for medical test call letter. Lastly I visited to RRC Kolkata for enquiry why I have not received medical call letter whether their is postal delay or something happened. Lastly I came to know from RRC Kolkata who has served in Armed forces 20-17years only they are getting call letter for medical test. My question is as per Employment notification no. 0110. no where it was mention only 20-17 years serving ex-serviceman will be getting chance.           with due recepect and utmost regard it is brought to kind notice that large number of DDA empolyess, AIMS empolyess, International Institute of Mass Media empolyess as wll employess of several office located at Lodhi Colony office Complex in Nehru Place R.K.Puram etc. utilizing the circular trainservices for attending office and after leaving the office in the eviening
          recently Railways changed the timing of one of the circulars train No HD I EMU from Hazart Nizamudeen fron 5.15 pm to 5.50 pm to delhi junction via lajpat nagar, patel nagar, this train became useful to employees the genral timings of the officer as from 9.30am to 6.00pm
          further we are shocked to understand that all of a sudden Railways has withdraw/ cancelled the service
          we are request to kindly arrange to resume the service of train No HD 1 EMU at 6.00pm from H.Nizamuddin to New Delhi Via Lajpat Nagar, patel nagar on humanitarin grounds having regard to the inconvenience of all commuters. the commuters shall never forget the gratitude of Railways

            Dear Sir,

            I got an online reservation ticket .but train arrived 3hour 45 minutes late than its scheduled time.
            so i had to catch other train to reach destination in time.If train arrives late more than three hours it comes under TDR.So i applied for TDR next day.but After more three months i got mail from railways that TDR is not admissible.I have fulfilled all conditions necessary for TDR but railway neither paying me TDR nor telling reason of doing so Therefore I requist to you please help me in this matter.for your reference i am giving ticket detail, TDR detail below

              A RETURN TICKET WAS BOOKED BY ME BY PNR NO [protected]. MY TICKET WAS BOOKED IN TATKAL WAITING . WHEN I CONFIRN FORM RAILWAY INQUIRY I FOUND THAT ONLY ONE SEAT WAS CONFIRMED BY RAILWAY WHILE THE WAITING BELOW MY TICKET WAS CONFIRM BY RAILWAY . IT WAS NOT UNDERSTAND BY ME HOW THE WAITING BELOW MY SEAT WAS CONFIRM IT SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED .
              WHEN I REACH IN MY CONFIRM SEAT AT S-1 AND APPROACH THE IN CHARGE TTE OF COACH S-1 TO CONFIRM THE BALANCE SEAT OF MY TICKET BUT HE REFUSED TO CONFIRM THE SEAT .. LATER ON I SAW THE TTE IS TAKING THE EXTRA MONEY AS A BRIBE TO ANOTHER PERSON AND ISSUING THE TICKET HIM . WHILE OUR TICKET WAS BOOKED IN TATKAL WAITING AND MONEY WAS ALREADY DEPOSIT WITH RAIL WAY . BUT THE IN CHARGE TTE TAKEN THE BRIBE TO ANOTHER PERSON AND ALLOTTED THE SEAT OF OTHER PERSON.
              DUE TO THIS OUR FAMILY FACE A LOT OF PROBLEM DURING JOURNEY SO I WANT THIS COMPLAINT SHOULD INVESTIGATE THROUGH VIGILANCE DEPTT.OF RAILWAY

              Indian Railway — TTE taken bribe for the seat which was already available

              Hi,
              i am disclosing my name .But in case you need my help i'll come up to help you .
              I was traveling from Mumbai and was going to jaipur along with my wife on 24th jan. by Firozpur-janta express .
              My PNR no was[protected].this ticket was from mumbai to ratlam and i suppose to get down at ratlam and suppose to get another train PASHCHIM Express .When i just asked the TTE Mr Meena (Tall, bald )
              that will i get a seat in PASHCHIM.He said no u'll not .when i inquire from other passengers that will this train go to jaipur so they said no but you will get a convince from Sawai Madhopur, so you just ask TTE for extension of your ticket so i went to Mr Meena and asked for extension, then he told no space.Then after 30 minutes he came to me and said that their are 2 seats available but you know the rush into train so if you will give 300 rupees extra other then the receipt charges then only i'll give those seats to you .Then i paid 350 rupees as receipt and 300 as bribe, total 650 rupees for 2 seats .
              I had to pay because was wife was along with me and she was not well .
              I am filing a complain against TTE Mr Meena for taking Bribe .
              Will you help me on this ??????
              You will get my actual name and address from railways as i put on my ticket.
              Hey! Does something happens on posting tghe complaints on this website. Or is this just a away to vent out your anger and forget thereafter??

                Sir,
                I am a student of BITS-Pilani, doing my engineering at Goa. I happened to travel alone in Amaravathi exp(from vasco da gama to Howrah) on 9th April 2009 coach B1, berth 36.Having booked an e-ticket i was carrying my college issued id card as a proof of identification because i neither had a pancard nor a voter's id card.When i was asked to show my proof of identity by the Ticket Collector, Mr.BHAGAWAT, I showed my id card as i travelled with this same card thrice on an e-ticket.Mr. Bhagawat started abusing me for carrying an id card by a non-government organisation and harrased me saying that he would fine me around Rs.1800(Rs.1694(ticket)+Rs.250(fine)).As i was travelling alone, i had only Rs.500 with me. I neither had money nor had the documents mentioned above.So he said he would come back to me after collecting everyone's tickets and took away my ticket.Whenever he passed my coupe, he went on abusing me asking for a proof once, scolding me to read the e-ticket properly and so on.Having undergone this torture, i was called to a different coach by him via an attendent to talk about this issue.I was allowed to travel after a series of scoldings followed by pleadings.

                I (on the behalf of students) would be very happy if college issued id-cards are allowed as a proof of identity during a travel on e-ticket.

                I would prefer giving another example for the TC's behaviour.I boarded the train in Vasco-da-gama and found my coupe empty, by the time the train started moving.So i thought i would lay down.But the Ticket collector on asking the ticket scolded me saying that passengers who are alloted lower berths are not supposed to sleep from 0600 hrs to 2100 hrs.I tried convincing him by telling that there was no one yet there in my coupe and wouldn't cause trouble at all.Apart from preventing me from laying down i was abused when i had shown my id card as a proof of identification.
                Is this the way TC's behave with the passengers?

                Railways — harrasement

                we are regular local train travellers. we for the sake of entertaiment & time pass play cards during our journey. Of late we have been regularly being harrased by the so called railway officials claiming that playing cards is banned in trains. On asking them for a proof we are told that the notice is with the DRM. They have laso collected fine uptos.1600/- form each of the passengers. Further when we asked for receipts we were issued receipts of Rs.200/- which syared that the fine was for smoking and not playing crads. I shall be obliged if could guide us what is the correct law in this regard.

                HATS OFF TO INDIAN RAILWAYS, TRAVELLING FROM PURI(ODISHA) TO ASANSOL (WEST BENGAL) TRAIN SHEDULED DEPARTURE: 1420 HRS 20 TH JANUARY, FINAL TRAIN DEPARTURE TIME: 2315 HRS 20TH JANUARY, WHERE TO STAY IN THE RAILWAY STATION?? TRAVELLING WITH KIDS AND FAMILY. STATION NOT IN GOOD STATUS TO PROVIDE ACCOMODATION, HENCE HAD TO ARRAGE A HOTEL ALL OF A SUDDEN UNPREPARED. WHO WILL PAY?? GOD KNOWS.

                      Dear Sir,

                      We have booked one Hero Honda - Super Splendor motorcycle from Sonipat (SNP) to Bhatni Jn.(BTT) vide parcel booking receipt no. 720104 dated 06/04/2009 with passenger ticket no. 38069081 to be board on 07/04/09.

                      Mr. Dayanand (Booking Clerk - Sonipat Railway Station) told us that passenger ticket no. is already mentioned on parcel slip by him and he called us on 07/04/09 one hour before departure of Shaheed express (Train No. 4674) train, as it was planned by him to load our bike in the shaheed exp. (4674) train and passenger will also board the same train.

                      We reached at Sonipat Railway Station on 7/4/09 at 6.00 pm (Train departure time is 7.20 pm) and came to know that he has already loaded our bike on 06/04/09 in another train no. 4650 Saryu Yamuna Exp.

                      We shocked after knowing that train no. 4650 does not go to Bhatni jn and now he do not know where our bike will go.

                      It is really very painful for us and shame for Indian Railways for such type of employee who are working with so carelessness. We are really fail to understand that how these people are working and what for they are trained by Indian Railways. I will also mention here that he was in drunken condition during duty in the parcel room and not ready to accept his mistake. He was simply saying that I have asked to Train Gaurd and loaded your parcel.

                      Now I do not know when I will received My bike at Bhatni jn. station and in what condition.

                      I request you humbly to please arrange to deliver my bike at Bhatni jn. (BTT) Railway Station at the earliest and also please forward my complaint to Sh. Laloo Prasad Yadav Ji who can give a remedy to these type of problem in Indian Railways so that other people will not suffer.

                      An early action in this matter shall be highly appreciated.

                      Indian Railways — Not received the bike made parcel through Indian Railways

                      I have booked a bike from Hyderabad to coimbatore (receipt no. W 688699) on date 28/04/08 at Hyderabad parcel office.But I did not recived the bike till date (29/05/08). when i try to make some enquiry they told me its beyond my control we are helpless, if goods are received, it will delivered to u, so continue your enquiry. i am facing too much mental harashment, so please help me and make some ammendments to improve the system.

                      i would like to state that, i have booked 4 Nos of parcel wide booking receipt No.A 730074 from PURI to VADODARA on 25/09/2009 by PURI-Ahmedabad Express in my name (Anil Rautray). I was also traveling in the same train. The description of 4 Parcels were

                      1. one Cot bearing 40 kg
                      2. one washing machine bearing 25 kg
                      3. one hero honda motorcycle bearing 200 kg
                      4. one big box containing valuable house hold items bearing 60 kg.

                      On arrival i went to claim my parcel, but to my surprise there were only three items (one cot, herohonda motorcycle and the washing machine), the last item (big box containg valuable household items) was missing. I could manage to claim only 3 items on 27/09/2009.

                      I have informed the railway parcel office (head of parcel dept Vadodara, Mr Patel and Mr M.V. Hirve), in verbal as well as written regarding my missing box. Since 15 days has been passed, i am regularly going to station and asking about my missing box, but i am not getting any concrete reply. Hence i request you to make an inquiry and trace my box at the earliest.

                      please also inform me, what next step i should initiate to claim my loss.

                        it is mockery to book tatkal ticket through internet. with in a minute it get full, how it is possible.? i request railway authorities to look into these.

                        when ever we are trying to take out the return ticket from
                        santacruz raailway station at platform no: 5 at west side ticket
                        booking clerk always denying to give the ticket and always busy
                        in some other work & if we say anything he start up with bad words & afterwards all of his staff move towards with same attitude.
                        if we didn't get the reply within few days of lodging this complaint then we are going to gave the answer in same
                        attitude which they were following.

                        Railway — railway reservation window

                        sir,
                        i am a frequent traveller using rails as a mode of conveyance. i use e tickets.However for wt listed tickets i have to bear the hell on the earth created by the resevation window at jalandhar city railway station.
                        Touts are always there making 5 to 6 reservation at a time. the clerks on duty have setting with them which is evident from the following facts
                        Touts are accommodated a lot of forms where as passengers without touts are asked to stand i other window for their 2nd genuine form.
                        when ever there is a raid of vigilance its information reaches then in before hand .Newspaper report bears ample testimonial to it .
                        No board on reservation window is fixed to guide the passengers that a clerk cant accept more than one form .
                        No direction for complaining the problems are written on the windows .
                        when ever a complaintant approches, he is not prpperly attende .

                        Even after guidelins issued by govt that the side middle berth wl nt be alloted, the T.T is allotting the berth inspite of vacant berths in compartment... He dont anything abt this rule... There is a very problematic situation in compartment... Iam in pushpak 2533 from lucknow to mumbai.

                        True, This is seriously some gimmick played by Railways and the travel agents.Though you are the first one at the counter as soon as quota opens, it already shows "Waiting List".This is ridiculous and Railway authorities should look at it at priority.People who have to travel at emergency are unable to due to this problem. Online reservation should either be removed or quota should be increased.

                        Railway — Gorakhdham express not extended yet

                        Respected Sir / Madam,

                        In Rail budget 2009/2010, it was announced that train no 2556 (Gorakhdham express, from Gorakhpur to Bhiwani) was extended from Bhiwani to Hisar, but still train is running on old route.
                        When the train will extended up to Hisar.
                        You are right! after the start of new tatkal scheme. I am not able to book a single ticket in tatkal quota. Every time, I am getting the error that "Booking not permitted" (at 8.03) and after after couple of minutes availability shows the quota is full something like WL155/WL<XX>.
                        I don't know whats going behind but, there is seriously a issue with online reservation system. I noticed when I use quick book, the availability status for Tatkal and General quota shows the same availability ??? why???
                        Even, booking, I am not allowed to book in quota other then SL. Yet, after couple of minutes pass by, I can use the same quota (obviously when it reaches to WL). Hope the railway authority should notice this...
                        Jago Govt Jago... :).. A common man wants an answer.

                        Railway — Harassment by TTE

                        On 20th Sept 09 i was travelling by Chitrakul Exp Train no. 5010 from Kanpur to lucknow. TTE nick name "Golu" asked for ticket when I show him the ticket he taken this ticket from me and given to someone else who was with him and ask me to wait. Therefore he may get down at Unnao station. In the meantime, another TT comes who charged me without ticket. However I as well other passenger told him the truth but he did not listen to me and handed over me to RP[censored]nnao station who beaten me. Please look into the matter and arrange to punish TT namely "Golu"

                        Railway — UNCLEARED WAITING LIST

                        If I have taken a waiting ticket of 3ac and unfortunatly it doesn't clear then what i supposed to do because TC will allow you to board train.
                        After enquiring, I came to know that though there was a quota of only 2 seats, railway has issued me 6 tickets and that too waiting from the first day (i.e. 90 days in advance).
                        If railway is not providing me any alternate accomodation, I will be in trouble as I am travelling with 3 kids and this is a part of my long journey.
                        I think no one other than the travellers read all these complaints.

                        i was travelling from mumbai cst to vindhyachal on 23/09/09 train name calcuta mail,no.2322,pnr no. [protected],the official pantry vendor does not have a complain book ,and he was charging more than the rate,no menu card , on complaining i was manhandeled ,made a call to irctc mumbai but till now no answer, no complain no. was given,rpf ,guard .tt were not cooperating
                        I am totally disagree that this is the game played by railway authorities and travel agents. Because every thing is online and transparent. There is no manual or online system that can book the ticket out of the system. There are only two ways to book the ticket either at Railway counter or Online at irctc.co.in So there is no question of any type of cheat. Maybe you are little bit slow in typing or your net connection may be slow in comparison to others.
                        As per my concern I never missed the Tatkal booking online.

                        Booking a Tatkal ticket online through the site irctc.co.in has become ridiculous!
                        The chief minister is requested ti revert back to the old system of Tatkal Sewa booking along with the old surcharge of Rs. 150 for Sleeper Class.
                        That would cater only to the demands of those who really require the ticket rather the ticketing mafiadalals.

                        I am wosim akhtar , elder brother of Mohammed Abuzer Ammari, of Gujidarada , Bhadrak , Orissa ,my brother had been to change the ticket date but there was no vacant berth then my brother told to cancel the ticket ,but the guy in ticket counter denied and there was an arguement in between my brother and the guy in ticket counter.The guy who was in ticket counter named Panigrahi.Mean while panigrahi call one local guy .The local guy and panigrahi abuse my brother and that local guy take out all the money from my brother.My brother went to GRP and lodged an FIR . , once I had also gone to take ticket. I also suffered problem from same person,may be he is local but I m not sure. Panigrahi don't care any one he is always delay in his work ,during working hour he takes booking form from the outside people by the inside door of the booking office and he book ticket, one from the people in queue and one from which he kept with him from out side.There is two counter but always one counter is closed,we people are the one who suffer ,in my presence also he behave some people very rudely, We are waiting for the result of FIR.I am not sure that we will get result of FIR thats why i wish to complain here if such type of people will be in Railway Department that will be very difficult for us.

                        it is very difficult to book tickets in tatkal because at 8.02 am to 8.15 am always server down from railways
                        I agree with the complain regarding Tatkal. 8 bajte hi pc hang ho jata hai. aur jab sahi hota hai tab tak ticket WL ho jaati hai.
                        Bahan Ke lnd railway wale aur agent mil ke paisa khaate hain bhosadi ke.

                        Yes it is very disgusting to book tatkal ticket on irctc. Very Fed up of this kind of services.
                        Tatkal ticket booking through internet is really impossible, especially when you need it the most and its really an emergancy, i would say its just desperate attempt with less than 50% chances, like most of the comments i would agree that the website is not available for service between 8.00 am and 8.45 am most of the time, so you will be lucky if there are tickets after that period, so i sincerely urge the authorities to look into this issue, becoz everyone needs to have a fair chance while booking for Takal and it should be First cum first serve basis.

                        i had booked tickets from mumbai central to nizammudin for 2 one month before the travel date i,e 26/12/2009 in 2ac . the status on booking was w/l 27and w/l 28 . as the day gos the tickets get confermed on 24/12/2009 . but when the chart prepared the status of the tickets show rac 1 and rac 2 in A1-49 , A2-49 and the western railways say what we do this rac tickets they fethers says that the two coahes of 2ac are having short seats thats the reasons. this is not fare with us the consumer face every things railways having tatkaal quotas and head office quotas . pnr no is[protected]

                        main janna chahata hun ki, koi agar waiting ka e-ticket leta hai aur koi railway counter se waiting ka ticket leta hai to kiska ticket pehele comfirm hoga. sir, main ye sunne ko paya hun ki waiting bala e-ticket se pahele counter bala waiting ticket pahele confirm hota hai. ye bat sach hai.agar aisa hai to koi bhi yatri e-ticket ka waiting bala ticket nehin katega. please mujhe yeh bat confirm kijiye.
                        All the complaints show there is something wrong with the ticketing system. My personal experience has been the same today. But the touts near New delhi station always have a way of confirming your waitlisted ticket. Even the reservation booking personal are fully involved.
                        Some of my recomendations
                        1. Revert back to old system of 5 days tatkal
                        2. Stiffer charges for cancelling any ticket
                        3.Gradual release of tatkal ticket over 5 days starting at 8am in the morning. Charges should increase marginally over the days.
                        4. There is a possibility of compromise of the cris system/ irctc by possible preference of particular ip address. full investigation required. site software to be optimised for true randomization of reservation request with built in constraints for computers with inordinately fast connections.
                        5. 24 hrs reservation in irctc be done
                        6.Overhaul of the irctc site to be done. Interface like that of cleartrip.com will be preferred.
                        I think this is a mafia that is operating with the nexus of Railway officials and Travel agents. website is superfast before 8:00, when tatkal quota is not open and immdiatley at the strike of 8:00 it is jammed. Internet speed should not be blamed as all other sites were opening fast.

                        I think this whole system of Tatkal is to promote selling tickets through agents only for rich and powerful people. Moreover there is no clarity on quota sytem and how waiting tickets are confirmed.

                        I hope someday our system becomes more transperent and is able to cater to needs of "AAM AADMI"

                        Railway — Southern Railway/South western Railway

                        Hi,
                        Southern Railway/ South western Railway has not announced Bangalore to Madurai any special trains for christmas / New year/Pongal. IN this route lots of people are travelling in the ordinary weekends. There is only one train from Bangalore to Madurai (Mysore to Tuticorin express). The tickets got booked in two hours on the same day when the booking opened. It is very inconveneient for the public especially for the passengers travelling with kids. Even the waitlisted tickets are booked upto WL450
                        There should be special train from BLR (SBC) to MDU route to clear the extra rush. There can be a ego clash between both Southern Railway & South western Railway. Both authorities are not bothering about this route. Hope that the authorites will do the needful.

                        Every one is angry if we don't get the ticket.
                        Railway Server cant handle so much of rush at a same time ex 8 am, ,
                        tatkal ticket or season ticket get booked within 5 to 10 sec passing 8.
                        which is not possible for normal users, even online travel agent if they r lucky the get or else same WL.
                        but yes i have heard that Unauthorised Railway agent always you can find near ticket booking area they give you confirm ticket for additional charges of more than 300, that what i also do not understand, how they can do so i think this a very big racket because if a authorised agent(e ticket) cant get how a unauthorised agent is getting confirm ticket(i ticket), i think now that some new rules should come into effect, that they should show id and the same person should be on counter whose name is in ticket.
                        1. In Chromepet Southern Railways Two Wheeler stand they are charging Rs.60 for monthly cycle pass.

                        But in the board they are announced charge is Rs. 50 only.

                        2. For Audha pooja and other festival times they are directly asking extra amount.

                        3. My cycle has been broken many times. Examples -Spokes, Brake, Stand, cycle chain etc...

                        When i ask the owner his way of respond is very rude.

                        Do you know why cant Talkkal booking through www.irctc.co.in (online booking) is practically impossible to you, who are in behind that?

                        Let’s say my opinion,
                        Both are online and it’s clear and transparent.
                        When you are booking in home, you may be some times using windows operating system or Linux not only that but the Graphics mode, in this mode of both os there are lot information to be send along with processing of each page, and also for showing the updated page there are lot of data to get into your ram i.e. along with flash, flash player, html page, and the security options of your browser etc…
                        And also the busy affect you at the time of 8-8.30 am
                        And you click every were when it became slow, that also make more busy to your computer
                        What happened in reservation center is they are not using graphics mode, they use dos mode which work very fast, and data is to be transferred are very less so they can do quickly.

                        on 27th of Jan at about 6:15-AM i went to Rly station to go to Ahmedabad.I ask booking clerk to give me two tickets for Ahmedabad & one for Maninagar. I gave him 3 notes of RS 10 then I ask him to returned me those three notes of RS.10 & take one notes of RS.50.

                        suddenly he started to shought and used very rubbish language to me which i cant write in this complain even he threaten me that if i will not leave this window he will cicked me.

                        Please look in to the matter and take neccesesary action agaisnt him,

                        Railway — hardship in tcoaches when travelling.

                        My name is Rajeev Kumar and i am the vice president of All Kerala Assocoation of Deaf and presently working in the District Panchayath Kasaragod, Kerala. I am a physically handicapped person and drafting this letter for your kind attention. When I was traveled from Ernakulam to kanhangad in Maveli Express (Date : 14.02.10 Train No.6604) I alreay had a reserved ticket (PNR No[protected] in Disabled couch. As in aware disabled couch has 4 berth. But on that travel day I had a bitter experience while the travel. When train arrived at Ernakulam station, I can't even step in to the compartment, because the compartment is thickly packed with the passengers with ordinary tickets. In this situation i had approached a T.T.E in charge and he just ignore me and he asked me to go meet another T.T.E, I narrated my hardship, being a handicapped person like me to run towards the 9th compartment and meet another T.T.E but he asked me to complaint it to the Gurard. I couldn't do that, because i can't walk well and its not possible for me go to the Gurard room at the the last. Atlast i begged to the public in that boggie to consider us, but we got lot of i& shouting from the public, and they just ignore us. Because of this i came here at Kanhangad in standing in the whole night. Railway giving all these nominal concessions for us because we the people are physically handiapped. But we got clear ignorance from the railway officials. We also are human beings, and we request you to consider this letter in humanitarian ground and take adequate actions on this issue. I can know that a lot of persons like me have these same type of hardship in this coaches when travelling.

                        I hereby like to lodge a complaint in regard to the tatkal rail reservation booking through internet. Whenever the tatkal booking starts, the server is so down that one cannot book his ticket through internet.This is a regular feature and can be verified everyday. It seems that some brokers are involved in this act and they by some how slow down the server so that general people cannot log in.

                        If anybody can answer, why the Tatkal seva tkt booking timeline reduce from 5 days to 2 days advance.

                        I fully agree with the valuable comment. Its a real mockery to book ticket under Tatkal Quota. I am sure that there is a big nexus of Railway Officials and the Travel Agents for getting tickets booked under Tatkal as mostly the site www.irctc.co.in hangs up between 8 AM to 8.30 AM.
                        I request the railway minister to look into the matter as Tatkal Quota was actually meant for the person who wants to travel urgently.

                        Railway — Request for justification

                        Sir,

                        We would like to mention a very heartening incident during our journey from Sealdah to Naihati, availing the facility of travelling in Hetebazare Exp. (Tarin No:3163). We were about to board General Coach with our general monthly ticket. On that time on duty RPF Staff (Mr. U N Singh & Mr. Prakash Sharma) along with some on duty TT caught hold o[censored]s on the platform no 8 at around 7.50 pm, i.e., before the departure of the said train on 06.08.2010. We told them that we were not availing any reserved coach, but they did not listen to us & harassed us with slang language. They continuously hassled and manhandled us; it downgraded our social status & prestige. This incident showed that they not only misused their duty power but also were not well aware of the rules & regulations of railway. They forced us for fine of Rs. 550.00 (Rs. 275.00 each) (Fine Slip No: 037459 Dt.: 06.08.2010 and Fine Slip: 037412 Dt.: 06.08.2010) although we had monthly ticket. The details of our identities and our of monthly tickets are as follow:

                        We therefore request you to take suitable action against these railway staffs (RPF & TT) to avoid further harassment of innocent people.

                        Govt should restrict that Tatkal Tickets can be booked only through railway booking counters and no other way should be provided and also the charge should be 150 rs + ticket charge .I Hope this will work and give a justice .
                        Faced the same problem on three days continuously. Railway server went down at 0800 then it became operational again at 0815. At 0816 was given ticket WL43 on tatkal. Next I checked the website at 1000 and the waiting had increased only to WL44. Obviously someone is playing hooky here and cornering all the tatkal tickets. My roomy went to a hotel next to the railway station the same day and got a fully confirmed ticket to Delhi in black. No one checked his id on the train whether the ticket was in his name at all. Railways is bringing a bad name to online reservations. Earlier too I have had tatkal bookings done and never faced this problem. Looks like someone within the Railways has been able to sabotage the booking system completely.

                        I had booked one ticket from SAMBALPUR to ROURKELA in train no.8006 vide PNR no [protected] for dated 25.08.10 Through IRCTC, But train was changed its rout from sambalpur and not travel to Rourkela. The train was changed its rout via ANGUL and Kharagpur since 2 months back, how IRCTC was allowed to book the ticket? It is an cheating case, IRCTC is miss guiding passengers.
                        So you are requested to refund my total amount as bellow
                        Rs.524.00 for fare
                        Rs. 20.00 for IRCTC charges
                        Rs. 10.00 for SBI debit card charges
                        Rs.554 total

                        I HAD BOOKED FROM CHENNAI TO BANGALORE ON 23.9.2010 BY TRAIN NO. 0688 WHICH STARTS AT 20.40 HRS AND THE PNR NO. [protected] AND TR ID NO. [protected]. DUE TO CANCELLATION OF TRAINS ANNOUNCED IN THE SUN NEWS, I HAD TO CANCEL THE TICKET AT 17.30 HRS.

                        I GOT A REFUND OF RS. 356/- ON 23.9.2010 BY THE RAILWAY TO MY SAVINGS BANK ACCOUNT[protected] MAINTAINED IN CANARA BANK, BSK 3RD STAGE, BANGALORE. 85. ON LOOKING THE STATEMENT OF MY ABOVE ACCOUNT, I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THAT A SUM OF RS. 356/- ALREADY CREDITED BY YOU. PLEASE VERIFY AT YOUR END AND U CAN DEBIT A SUM OF RS. 356/- IN CASE IT IS EXCESS REFUND UNDER INTIMATION TO ME.

                        IF THERE IS A MISTAKE, PLEASE TAKE NECESSARY ACTION NOT TO REPEAT THE SAME IN FUTURE.

                        Railway — Thane Railway station

                        dear sir,

                        we r resident of thane.while the train come in platforms the public can't move from the bridge because bridge r very small. at time 1000 of people r walking on the bridge & it is very crowded many times stampede happen on bridge. 3 minutes walk take around 15-20 minutes to go outside the staion.There are only 2 bridge for such a crowded station.the railway management can't do anything for such a big station.
                        So may i request you kindly look in to this matter.

                        Railway — ticket booking

                        This is Naresh Adepu
                        I was trying to book the ticket through online. the ticket was not booked but the amount(Rs581.00) was deducted in my account. the transaction id [protected] and train No: 7429, date of booking:05-10-10.
                        Please do the need full help.

                        Railway — wrong punishment & misbehave

                        Today when I reached the station there was long que at ticket counter because only two counters were open and after waiting for more than half an hour I was unable to get the ticket then I went to enquire about what is the time of last train. Since, there was no person sitting at the enquirty counter only hand written display board was there with insufficient information and then when moved to enquire with other person from public standing there a lady ticket checker asked about the ticket. I replied that I am here to enquire about the train timing and neither I board in any train nor deboard from any of train, I just now came here and there is no such line or checking between the equiry counter and platform. I also showed her my Delhi High Court ID card and asked that I am law binding citizen. Even though she caught me and repeatedly requested her but she didn't listen me at all. Thernafter, I asked her to take the fine and allow me to go then but she did not agree on that too, perhaps she was trying to take some bribe money but have not paid then she took me to police personnel and tried to build pressure and when I asked her for complaint book she refused for that and even did not allow me to go anywhere. When two train passed away then took the fine Slip No. 669319 dtd. 18.10.2010 at about 08:30 am and when she released me then I tried to lodge a complaint but after enquir about the complaint book one railway personnel told me to lodge the complaint before SS but his chamber/cabin was locked and got a reply that he will come after 10:00am.
                        I therefore request you to please take an appropriate action against the Lady Ticket Checke deputed on 18.10.2010 at Old Faridabad Station at about 08:30 am against Fine Slip No. 669319 dt. 18.10.2010.

                        Guys if we would have a poll regarding Tatkal Booking using IRCTC online, then 99 people out of 100 will say "Its Impossible". Today i faced same issue. My network Speed is 100MBPS and only one window of irctc.co.in was open. And irctc server was down for almost 1hour between 8AM to 9AM. Till then among 172 avilable tickets i got 48 waiting list. Not even in any other there was a single ticket available. And i need to travel on urgently on medical emrgency.

                        But my party went to station for that train they know that the route has been changed, then they go to station master to solve the problem he/she told that why should u by ticket online. Then i asked you one thigh that if the train route has been change last six month then why IRTC web site should allow for ticket, for that i they hares me and i lost my good will.                         I totally agree with the above complains even i am suffering for the same not only for tatkal even for the general quota according to indian railway rules the general quata ticket should be book before 90 days and the booking time starts from 8:00am bt yesterday i was checking in irctc for the tickets of 4may 2011 before 8:00 i have seen the status it was showing as WL if the ticket booking time starts from 8:00am then how before 8:00 its showing as WL
                        And Prasanth as you are saying that this is the problem of the operating system then how within 2 min and even before 8:00am howz the ticket are WL. and Prasanth i am booking the tickets of allahabad and there are around 12 to 14 trains every day how all the seats are booked within 2 mins i known many person are booking the tickets but how its possible that within 2 min all the tickets are booked and even the WL are more than 250 if you calculate that if you take a average of 13 trains there are more than 4000 seats how all the seats are booked within 2min which is practically not possible not only 4000 seats even its show waiting list of 200 in each trains how can you say its practically possible that around 6600 seats get booked within 2mins i dont think this is possible dude
                        Not only this i stay in bhandup i have tried lots of time to book the ticket from counter but what happen here there is a separate line before 2 days what happen here public are in line the hole night and in the morning they get the token for the next date but here even the police who are in duty at night shift they all are over here the unauthorized agents comes in nights and says that i was in line at afternoon and when the complain is given to the police they are saying you see what can we do for what they getting they they should be removed from the jobs the hole system are the It shows directly gimmick played by Railways and the Travel agents stricts action should be taken on all this .

                        Railway Reservation -tatkal — Tatkal tickets not allowing to book

                        we are not allowed to book the tatkal tickets now a days, when are are about to book the tatkal tickets at 8 am. it will restricts us to book the tickets by giving the unknown error or the communication error, this happens only for first 30 min when tatkal tickets open i.e from 8 am to 8.30 am, meantime all the tickets had been booked and we will not able to get the tickets, there is something going on in the railway bookings. this happening always now a days. can u please take the strict action against those people.

                        I have booked Ticket from Mandsaur To Udaipur through net online. on 12th March the PNR No is [protected]. There were only three ladies passanger and one small child. When she shows the ticket to TC he demand ID then she show PAN card. He argue that it is not clear show another ID ither pay Rs 250 each bribe. She request much & more I also requested through mobile. She has to break journey at neemuch next station and tooked local ticket from neemuch to udaipur by the help of another passanger and make journey. In the railway passenger said he took bribe from another passanger and give him for journey. My wife and my daughter when crossing the boggie from s4 to s1 to go to local my child 4yrs may sleep. That was horible journy. you must take any action to that cheater TC.

                        when i tried to book tatkalticket, it is such a menace, service unavailable. wntil the site become available, all tatkal tickets are finished. next time when i tried, with a lot try, until money transfer it was ok, but after it told that due to some reason, ticket cannot be booked. such a nonsence. i think no general people can be able to book a tatkal ticket, exept travel agent or counter. guys, never try to book a tatkal ticket yourself.otherwise you will loose another day. my bitter experience

                        I heard agents r selling the same tickets which we could nt book for Rs2500 additional amount.. apart from ticket charges for sleeper class, I had ticket which was booked exactly 3 months and it never got confirmed, i tried tatkal without an luck. Now I hear that some agents in Bangalore are selling the same tickets for Rs.2500 additional apart from your ticket and tatkal charges Is this not a fraud..those talk of windowa nd DOS etc must listen to this first. There is a large scale fraud and all authorities are sleeping. How can authorities act in UPA regime which sold cricket tickets for Rs 30000 (orginal cost only 1000) . Shame on them.. we have no relief from this corruption. Is there anything we can do abt this other than crying. The loot goes endlessly

                        i am surprised during the tatkal ticket booking online, i am continuously trying to book tatkal ticket since 19.05.2011, but in a minute all tickets become full while tatkal quota in Garib Rath Train is 180 nos. How is it possible, i am unable to say it but there is a big game going in tatkal tikets indeed. Large numbers of anauthorised agents rush for tatkal tickets at railway booking counters and they get tickets giving bribe to booking clerks. So Common people are facing a big problems and not able to get tickets from ticket counter. Request to resolve this problems.
                        through tatkal booking service irctc making money as they provide waiting list ticking which we finally end up cancelling. Thus the charge us for no reason if there is no tickect availble then why irctc book wailist ticket in tatkal service. This practice needs to be stop. we all should appeal to Railway ministery to get the issue resovled.

                        This is ofcourse cheating with customer in the name of cancellation charge particullarly in tatkal sewa.

                        Railway — Bad conditions of Trains (Bed Bugs in Train)

                        BAD CONDITIONS OF TRAIN ( Seats were Full of Bed Bugs & fans were not working).

                        On 29th June 2011, At 7.40 AM, From Mansarovar, Thane train cancelled of 7.31 AM, Vadalla train got cancelled at 7.35 AM & the train which came at 7.40 AM of CST was of very bad condition in Ladies compartment. All fans were not working & all seats were full of bugs, all ladies were unable to sit on the seats. The condition was very bad for ladies who were travelling from Panvel to CST. Please try to improve the trains conditions, so that people can travel safely for people who are travelling long distance in train for 1.30 to 2.00 hours. Due to these condition we are suffering from skin allergy. Please look into these matter....

                        The change in the tatkal system has been brought about to benefit the tout system, which it has done
                        with a dramatic effect.The modus operandi is very simple.A fixed time of 8.00 AM ensures that all
                        demands by the touts will be fulfilled, as counter prs will have preference over internet booking.This
                        is simply not possible if a 2 or 5 day advance rule is followed.For exmaple, a train timing of 14.00
                        hrs on 4th july will have the tatkal booking start at 2.00 pm on 2nd july, thus an endless permutations
                        for hundreds of trains and multiple starting journey points.In a manner that they thwarted the
                        upgradation system started by Mr Lalu Yadav, the corrupt railway adminstration has killed the tatkal
                        system.

                        In Jalna Railway station there are more than 10 dog fellows are siting regularly around the ticket counter for Taktal reservation and public people comes even early morning at 3.00 am also we can get ticket as the Tatkal reservation will be finished within 10 min. in all the trains.

                        Railway — Illegal occupation of Seats by Porters

                        Yesterday I was travelling fro Ahmedabad to Anand by train number 19110 Queen, the train starts its journey from Ahmdabad at 6.20 pm. I found that some of the porters at the station were asking passengers for booking there seats. as the train arrived at the Platform I and some of the other passengers found that some of the doors of boogie were closed and we could also find that porters were illegally occupying seats for passengers at 20 rs per seat. they were also not allowing other passengers to enter that boogie or occupy the seats. adding to it they were pushing the passengers who enter or occupied the seats.and abusing the one who protested. i would like this matte to be looked at so journey by this tran would be more comfortable

                        Railway — e- ticket not made , while payment made through debit card

                        Today (15/08/2011) I have done an online transaction to purchase a e-ticket. Unfortunately after the payment was made through ANDHRA BANK payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

                        This is really embarrassing situation and IRCTC is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. If not refund the same amount.

                        Railway — Not having Railway police in RNC-BGP Express

                        Sir/Madam,

                        I was traveling in 18604 Ranchi-Bhagalpur Express. this train is very important train in ranchi-kiul-jamalpur route, and railway earns plenty of profit using this train, but the security is void. there are theft and crimes going on even in AC bogies. there was no RPF, and criminals were easily doing mischief. we complained the same to Ranchi GRP but they are not taking it seriously. if not handled at right time, this can result to big loss to we, the citizens. So, please arrange at least one RPF per bogie(whatever the class is), and also direct the GRP's to help the peoples in appropriate manner.

                        Railway — Less amount refunded after cancellation of E Ticket

                        when I was returning from kota, I have ircttc ticket. my id proof is lost . so I use my state pcs admit card as id proof, which is issued by nstate govt, but the ticket checker did not allow it . and he fined me. I want suggestion on this .

                        Railway — Tatkal ticket booking is a irritating facility provided by railways

                        Tatkal tickets always fly like hot cakes. Booking online is a useless facility provided railways. Either site will not open or the stages provided by online irctc will not move smooth. Instead railways department can consider removing online Tatkal booking and provide everything at counter itself.

                        Local Central Railway Servies

                        Requesting Central Railway to arrange for a false and soothing auto-reply on receipt of any complaints . Because earlier complaints are seen to be as is with no improvement.

                          I AM A ABORIGINE OF VIJAYAWADA.I WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT ON THE ILL-TREATMENT OF AN ON-DUTY ENQUIRY OFFICER.8TH APRIL 2009 I WENT TO THE RAILWAY STATION AT 5 PM TO BOOK A TICKET FROM VIJAYAWADA TO RAJAMUNDRY. IN THE "TRAIN NO." COLUMN I MENTIONED FOUR TRAIN NUMBERS SO THAT THE OFFICER COULD VERIFY THE AVAILABILITY IN THOSE SPECIFIED TRAIN.IN RETURN HE SAID ME TO CONFIRM IN WHICH TRAIN WOULD I LIKE TO BOOK MY TICKET (HE DID'NT CHECH IN THE COMPUTER FOR THE TRAINS).ON OTHER HAND WHEN I WAS WAITING FOR MY CHANCE HE ENQUIRED FOR MY FELLOW PERSON WHO WAS ALSO IN THE QUEUE TO BOOK HIS TICKET.HE CHECKED FOR THE AVAILABLE TRAINS FOR HIM AND ASKED HIM TO WRITE THE TRAIN NO. IN THE RESERVATION FORM.

                          THE NAME OF THE RAILWAY EMPLOYEE WAS SRINIVAS RAO ON HIS DUTY AROUND 5 PM AT VIJAYWADA RAILWAY TICKET RESERVATION COUNTER NO.10.

                          I WOULD LIKE TO GO THROUGH MY COMPLAINT AND TAKE A SUITABLE ACTION UPON THIS MATTTER.

                          south indian railway — Manhandling by Ticket checker

                          Dear Sir,

                          I had boarded the train Kannur Yeswantpura (6528), on 5 July 2010, and my ticket was in RAC.
                          I enquired with TT and he said there are no seats still. After Tirur, one of the passanger saw, TT taking
                          bribe from a Waiting listed ticket person and alloting him a seat.

                          Seeing this, me and couple of other passangers enquired about it, he started abusing us.
                          I asked his name and he said its none of my business as India Railway belong to him and asked us to do what ever we want.
                          I try to take a snap of his, he tried to attack me (man handle), since there were other passangers with me,
                          he got down in Palgat and hand over to other TT.

                          I reported this incident to chief TT of the train Mr. Murilidaren, but he said since that TT has got down in Palgat, the incident is over in Palgat and he cannot take the action.

                          Please help me find justice, as I have faith in India judisary.

                            I was travelling by the South Bihar express (3288)with my wife from patna to tata.
                            I was alloted seat 63, 64 of S1 coach(earlier being 72 seated sleeper coach), but due to the changes made in the coach being the 81 seated sleeper coach, I was transferred to 70 and 72.
                            But the TTE hand allotted the empty 71 seat to a person whose name was not there in the chart due to which I was unable to take my dinner and moreover when I asked him to provide me with complaint book so that I can forward my complain, he simply denied it and startes arguing with me over the issue in a very disrespectful manner. Then I reported the issue with the Mokam station manager but due to the small stoppage of the train he advised me to file the complain anywhere.
                            I under the RTI act want the TTE to give reason why he denied the availability of complaint book, which is always available with every TTE and guard.

                            May i know the railways has started the tatkal seva for the agent and the booking clerk to make money or for the general passenger as it is in the case of Pune station reservation Booking counter as it is occupied by all the agent and black marketer as it is a home for them and with the co-operation with the RPF persons and Booking clerk they make it is imposible for the general public to get the Ticket in the Tatkal Seva.
                            Kindly look into the Matter.
                            railway me sare aam maa aur behno ka apmaan kiya jata hai..lafango ke dwara. jo iske against me aawaaz utha te hai unki jabardast pitaai bhi ho jati hai. in lafango ke darr se pure train ke kisi bhi boggy ka koi bhi insaan virodh nahi karta. jo bhi loacals daily travel karte hai unhone apni jabardast unity bana ke rakhi hai..parso hi jab mai patna se gaya "Ranchi-Hatia express" se jaa raha tha toh...MASAUDHI junction ke liye jane wale sare log mujhe ek numbr ke kamine nazar aaye..jis boggy me mai baitha tha...usme bhi kareeb 25- 30 log jabardasti reservation boggy me ghus gaye..mai bhi galat tha kyun ki mai bhi reservetion boggy me ghus gaya tha..par mai jis birth pe baitha tha woh khali tha...lekin baki sare lafange sabhi ko jabardasti dara-dhamka kar utha diya aur baith gaye. kya mahila aur kya bacchi aur kya jawaan aur kya buddhe log..inhone sabko utha diya. aisa lag raha tha ki inka aatank sab jaantey hain..isliye kisi ne aawaaz nahi uthayi. it was a really ridiculous situation inside. they were speaking in silly languages. sari MAA aur behne baithi thi aur wahin par woh log "madarchod" aur "behanchod" ya "lauda" jaise words apne talking me use kar rahe the.                             ye tha jawab un logo ka jinko help karna chahiye tha. jab unka stoppge aaya toh sare larkey jaan boojh kar usi larki ke paas khade ho gaye aur jabardast comment aur mazaak karne lage. ek baar phir usi buddhe ne kaha.."are babu aage bado tumhara station aa gaya hai..tumhari bhi maa -behan hai..aisa kyun kar rahe ho?" magar kaun sunta hai..anth me us buddhe se behas start ho gayi..buddhe ne kaha ki "ek railway police aa jayega na toh tum logo ko samjha dega". tab woh log aur bhi buri tarah gali bakne lage "bualo saaale police ko..bulao crpf ko aur railway police ko ..dekhtey hai kaun kya karta hai..?" tabhi do larkey us buddhe ko maarne ke liye lapka..."maaro saala ye madarchod buddhe ko" tabhi usi ke ek larkey ne use rok liya...staion aa chuki thi aur woh log utar gaye...jaise hi woh log gaye aur train phir start huyi ...sab logo ne jaise raahat ki saans li.. itna toh saaf ho gaye ki itne door ki doori kisi narak se kam nahi thi ..ek dam aataank ke saaye me the sab log. jab jehanabaad bhi cross k ar gaya tab maine dekha ki RPF ke jawaan pata nahi kahan se nazar aane lage aur TTE bhi..is se saaf pata chalta hai ki locals ko har kisi ka support hai..police ka bhi aur TTE ka bhi.
                            kahan hai raiway me safety ki guarantee dene wale log? railway ki police garibo se unke baggage par 2 - 3 ruppayye lene ke liye hai? aur TTE without ticket walo ko pakad ke (sirf dehati moorkhon se) paisa kamane ke liye hoti hai.
                            kyun nahi RPF ki team saade dress me boggy ke andar baith thi hai? kyun nahi inko pakad ke jabardast pitaai ki jati hai? kyun nahi koi aisa numbr public ko diya jaye ya usi train me sare boggies me chhote chhote poster laga diye jaye ..jis par help line number ho taki train ke sab se piche wali boggy me baithe RPF ke jawaan ko chalti train me bhi inform kiya ja sake ki kis boggy me kaise log hai? aur help maaanga jaye...aakhir chalti train me kaise inform kiya jaye ki kisi ke behan ki ijjaat looti ja rahi hai? railway ne ek bhi no. diya hai? aur agar hum inform bhi kare toh woh kaise help karenge

                            n at last ..Swami RAMDEV kehte hai..ki " bure logo me unity hoti hai par sharif logo me nahi" kam se kam us boggy me 150 log sharif honge toh sirf 20 badmash loafer the par un me unity thi aur sharif sab dekh rahe the..baad me pata chal ki woh maa aur beti isi buddhe ke sath thi.
                            railway ke police hijdaa hai...aur pura railway department bhi..mai railway department se kehta hu " plz call me..mujhe RPF ke jawaan aur woh power de do..mai sirf 2 dino me pura situation change kar ke dikha dunga..chun chun ke maarunga ..sab saade dress me baithenge aur pakad ke jabardast dhulaai karenge...puri planning ke sath..

                            This week and last week i went to bayappanahappli railway station which is in between K R Purm and bangalore East. at around 3.30am to 3.45am i went to this railway station to book for tickets to chennai. it was on wednesday 2nd and 9th. i went looked in the ticket counter there is no person available, i called by saying is any body is there.
                            there is one person Mr G Peer he told me his name but i forgot he scolded me and this person was sleeping.
                            is this the kind of service the railways provide kindly look into the matter and do take neccessory action aganist him.

                              Sir,
                              I happened travel from Vadakara to Trivandrun in Maveli Express on 3/4/2009. I had a 3A reservation which was WL 2 at the time of reservation. I made this reservation well advance and was sure about confirmation. When I enter in the train I request the TT who was present in the compartment to check for the seat. This guy checked it and told me that It is not confirmed and i have to go vaccate the compantment immediately. The words and behavior from this guy was so so worse. I was so cool and was just requested him to check it. But he was using irritating words and treating me like a criminal.
                              Then I decided to elight at next station to my luck I found another TT (who I later fond that in charge of AC compatment ) and requeste him to verify my ticket. This gentle man was very co-operative and he easily located my name and allocated my seat.
                              I wonder why these TTs are behaving like this to customers. Unfortunately I dint noticed that guys name.But I stronly reccomend action againt to him for insulting a traveler with proper documents.

                                i m serving sailor in indian navy
                                i have a valid IAFT - 1720 concession boucher
                                i gone for booking in Phagwar Railway Staion Reservation Center on 05 APril, 09 at 1030 hrs
                                Booking clerk refuse me for booking
                                First he told me that this not ur source station ( My ourney is from Jalandhar City to MUmbai )
                                But we can encash IAFT 1720 at any counter,
                                Second he told he does not have authorithy to Reserve the ticket of three Tier AC (3rd AC)
                                He show me the letter which was dated 01 october 2007. regarding reservation of soilders.

                                As per revised pay commision we are entitled for third ac travel. But he doesn't listen my words.

                                  my father dr b c vastrad is a senior citizen.. he was travelling from bangalore to kuppam.. he bought a ticket from the counter meant for senior citizen..the person issuing ticket in the counter refused to give ticket to my mother who has not crossed 60 years and not a senior citizen..my father was not asking for concession but a general ticket because only they two were travelling and also had luggage..the person in the counter also behaved rudely..how should the senior citizens travel with luggage..

                                    Dear Concern,

                                    This is in refrence with my journey dated 30 March 2009 by Farakkah Express (Train No:3484)from Lucknow to Faizabad, i had purchased the general ticket(Ticket No:[protected] of express train from Lucknow to Faizabad after that i requested the concern T.T at the platform to allot me a seat in Sleeper Class if available at that time i had been told that a seat would be alloted to me in train against the vacant seat.

                                    But As soon as train left from the Lucknow station two Ticket checkers came to check the ticket and they told me to pay the penalty since i am travelling in Sleeper class, i told them to allot me a seat against the vacant seats as i had word with the ticket checking staff at platform but they were not ready for the same even though lots of seats were vacant.
                                    I am also told them if you are not able to allot me a seat i can also move to the General compartment at the next stoppage but they were not ready for same also.

                                    But they continousaly threatned me that if i will not pay the penalaty they would give me up in the RPF at the next stoppage.

                                    As i was going for an urgent appointment i could not bear the situation at that time so i paid them the amount which they were forcing me to pay i.e Rs 310/ -( Penalty:250/- Diffrence for sleeper Rs:60/-) through Reciept no : 646756.

                                    As a responsible citizen it was my duty to make a railway authority aware of how the citizen travelling are being misbehaved by such respectable authority.

                                    It is my humble request kindly take the necessary action against such a deed being done on my part so that in future it may not be repeated with others.

                                    I shall be highly obliged if the amount paid by me as a penalty is returned back to me.

                                    It is a requst to kindly do the needful ASAP.

                                      Sir, by virtue of me being in the Ind army i do often travell by train but invariably our moves are not so well planned in time hence invariably the tickets are procured only few days before boarding. its however been seen the waiting list is rarely or not at all updated in the various sites/ mobile / tele checking of pnr status. this is a real cause of agony ...
                                      secondly its believed that too much of tatkaal quota are impenging on getting regular tickets
                                      i shall feel greatfull if these issues are addressed.

                                        I am hereby to inform you that I have got my e-ticket on Tatkal kota for[protected] which was in waiting list. When i arrived to railway station and inquired about the reservation status the responsible TC told me that it is not confirmed and my reservation charges will be get credited to my account automatically within a week. After one week when i inquired it with railways customer care they said my reservation was confirmed and I am not entitled to get any reimbursement.
                                        So, in this case there was no fault from my side and due to wrong information by responsible railway officer only I tend to loose my money. Hope you'll be agree with me and help me in taking action against those irresponsible railways officers.

                                        I have purchages railway ticket from purne railway station through debit card from pune to howrah by third ac pnr[protected] and[protected] and cancell the tickets on 27 apr 09 and 28 Apr 09 , the refund ammount of Rs. 4110/- and Rs. 467/- are still not credited in my account.
