The complaint is marked as resolved when a company has responded to the complainant, addressed his or her dissatisfaction, and came to an agreement where both parties agreed that the complaint is indeed resolved. However, a complaint can be automatically marked as resolved if a complainant isn't responding or updating a complaint for 30 days after the company has tried to reach the complainant.

Request regarding trains between Chennai and Jodhpur / Ajmer.

A vast majority of Rajasthani people residing in Tamil Nadu are facing difficulty to travel to their home town Rajasthan. There is only one weekly train between Chennai and Jodhpur(6126) which is insufficient to handle such a vast majority of population. Bookings are always full when counter opens.

for this we the marwari buisness community request the railways to either increase the lapses of weekly Jodhpur express on daily...

Defective railway and passenger bridges in borivali and no notice

There is NO notice outside the Borivali east railway bridge announcing that, people without platform ticket cannot walk on it . How are people from outside suppose to know this ? And then why should people pay so much fine when appropriate rules are not followed ? Morever the railway bridge near the second class carraiges, as well as the passenger bridge across borivali station are in such bad condition, I know a friend who slipped and twisted...

Garib Rath - Travel worries

Dear Sir / Madam,
I had booked a ticket in Garib Rath, Train No. 2612, from Bhopal to Chennai on 10/02/2009, in AC chair car. I would like to bring to you the serious issues faced by us.
1. We were not able to even sit in the AC Chair car as it was so dirty and was untidy to even sit. Fearing health issues, we immediately searched for a seat in 3 AC.
2. The TT agreed to give us a seat at extra cost and we paid the balance...

Side middle berth

I recently travelled by one of the passenger trains... Then I got to know that it has got a side middle berth...It was the most aweful experience I had travelling by train. It is the most uncomfortable way of travelling. The number of people in each compartment is too high and it is suffocating to travel.
I don't know who has given this idea of the Side middle berth... Really it is pathetic to get into the berth itself...

Servise

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I am a frequent traveler of SE and SECR section. Last a few months I observe unclean SL berths of Shalimar- LTT (No.8030) and HWH ADI Express (No.2834). The windows, upper and lower berths are under thick layer of dust. Floors are comparatively clean.

On 6th February’09 when traveling on Shalimar – LTT Express (S4, 18) I contact Mr P K Nath-TTE / Attendant and...

Common man's misery

Sir

Most probably you would have seen the General Compartment of Express trains on the move on railway tracks or at station waiting for a green signal. What sort of rule allows those compartments to be overbooked in majority of cases, to such an extent that people who board on the them find it difficult to even stand straight? Is it because they are poor or they don't complain or you are sure you would never get into...

About the gatekeeper of waiting room at Bhagalpur railway station

I am submitting this complaint from Bhagalpur railway station. Gatekeeper for the 1st class waiting room did not allow me to use the waiting room even when I am having a valid ticket and he started making argument with me.

3rd AC coach Maintenance

I went to LTT station to see off my inlaw's on 25th Jan 09 on Janeshawri Exp and saw that normal hawkers are freely selling their goods inside the AC coach, though it is not allowed in AC coaches. I complaint about this to the coach attendent, but he simply denied to react on my complaint. I also told this to TC, but he also did very little about this. He just asked the attendent to stop the the hawkers, but the attendend told him that...

Tatkal ticket cancellation

It would be great if tatkal tickets can be cancelled just like other tickets. Howerver, the reservation fee and tatkal charges can be deducted. If a tatkal ticket is cancelled, it can be given to other waiting list members. So, there should not be any problem in refunding the money. This is a genuine request, kindly respond....

double fare of sleeper berth against RAC

We travelled from bhavnagar to bandra in sleeper class. We had RAC ticket. Railways, due to nonavailability of berths, could allot us two seats on side berth. We requested TC to give refund of difference of fare of Sleeper (SL) and 2nd Sitting (2S) for these two tickets. TC replied that Railways are not obliged to give refund of difference as per rules. If sittings alloted is not acceptable to passangers, they can opt to get tickets cancelled...
