I had purchased Smart Card from Kalyan Railway Station having Number - CR 0232937. I recharged it for three times since then (1st and at the time of Purchase and 2 times subsequently). I used this card for purchase of rail ticket.

On 1st May, 2009 I used card to purchase Return Tickets to Dadar which cost Rs. 22 at around 7.30 am afterwhich balance shows Rs 29. When I reached Dadar & completed my work. After that I want to go to CST, I again used this card to take Return ticket at around 10.45 am. However I didn't get Ticket from Machine, instead it shows error in Machine. I used it in another machine which also shows same problem. At that time No machine at Dadar Central Railway Station is working properly and many passenger including me have same problem. We complain about it to Railway Officers and they admitted that no machine is working for some time. I had stand in Q for nearly 30 Minuts to get my ticket from window.

On 6th May, 2009 I want to use my smart card to purchase ticket it shows only Rs. 1 Balance. When I complaint about it at Kalyan Smart Card window they tell me that you should complaint about it on 01 May, 2009 at Dadar and not this time at Kalyan.

As we are told at Dadar Station that all Machines are not working at Dadar Central Railway, there will not have any problem of Balance being erased.

I hereby request you to Credit the balance to my Smart Card as well as to those passenger who used the machine on 01 May, 2009 at the time of fault.i.e from 10 am till the Machine get corrected.

I had purchased a Smart Card No CR 0115076 issued by Central Railways.I had recharged it twice and found the card very useful. This I felt was Cheating.Why at all should the card be invalid and why was the deposit on the card be forfeited with any valid reason.The Railways can find better ways of earning revenue.I wish to advise commuters to desist from buying these smart cards.

I want new smart card from dombvli station window east side. but they are telling me to take smart card from opposite end window. Whwn i go to opposite window then they are telling me same thing . I complaining this to tickit doner. then they are not senn.
I'm currently satisfied with the services provided by the smart card but I'm requesting you to extend the services for getting EXTENSION tickets from smart card and give 10% bonus instead of existing 5% bonus on every recharge so that more and more people will take the advantage of this service wich will help reduce the long queues on ticket windows in each station.
any idea how to use the smart card to book the railway monthly passes. It prompts for an usn number and i am not aware of which no it is asking for.
It’s been a bad experience for me using the smart card. I had a balance of Rs. 400/- in my card and on expiry I was informed that the amount is lapsed on expiry. The card should be allowed for renewal with the lapsed amount with a nominal penalty/fine. One cannot lapse the amount as it is not a pass where the amount is paid for a fixed period. In a smart card you deduct the amount each time a travel is made unlike in a pass.

What is more disturbing is that the Kiosk installed are few and not available at all stations. Where it is available, most of the time it is out of order, either due to paper ticket exhausted, or the kiosk itself out of order. Also, the expiry of card is not very prominent on the screen. Instead of displaying the amount on the first screen where the amount balance is displayed, the expiry is on the ticket screen where one is always in a hurry to get the ticket and take back the card.

Request you to improve the system rather than try to penalize the user for using it.

im happy with smart card, except for one long standing complaint, i.e. PLEASE START EXTENSION FACILITY with this card along with facility to issue of season pass. As many times although i have season ticket for particular destination but i have to buy ticket from my home station to avoid long queue for removing extension ticket . so pls start this facility also, many passengers are lomg waiting for this . thanking you

this in continuance of my above complaint by giving eg. say i have season pass from cst. to thane and today i have to travel from cst to kalyan, then instead of having extension from thane to kalyan, i have to take ticket from cst to kalyan thru my smart card to avoid long queue for extension as there is no seperate window for extension . so hopefully ur goodself will look into the matter expeditiously

Yes Please start the extension facility on it Soon. And as discussed above I have also faced same problem at thane station several times so please put a good antivirus in your ATVM machines as they work on very old Operating system. and please upgrade the software in it.

Indian Railways — Long queues@ticket window of Mumbai suburban

Dear sir,
I m looking favourable arrangement for following.
Requirement 1)How can you reduce queues of ticket windows at Mumbai
suburban various stations.
Looking to a large number of passangers/travellars/visitors are coming to
Mumbai DAILY. They all aren't having COUPONs nor SEASON ticket. They
all are waiting in queues. How can you help them????

Is it possible to issue such tickets thru internet? some suggestion
in this matter...

a) issue all tickets which cost is more than Rs. 10.00
b) IRCTC charges must be waived. otherwise no one will book it from
internet.
c) Make it valid for 24 Hrs based on issue DATE and TIME instead of
valid for one hours (as existing "start journey within 1 hrs")

Requirement 2) Pl. inform thru SMS about confirmation of BIRTH/SEAT number for
those tickets which was not confirmed while booking and being
CONFIRMED afterwards.
It will reduce traffic of 139 on the day of travelling.
Presently your system sends a SMS as soon as booked thru irctc. It is
useless in case of NOT CONFIRMED SEAT.

I have purchased a Smart card and using it once in a while so that i will not miss the train, standing in the often long queue at secunderabad or lingampalli. My card number is SCR036489. There was some money left in it. As the instructions say Valid for 6 months after the last recharge. I have recharged it even before that and lost all the left over money(around 200) as it says 0 and expired.There should have been some other way to reclaim or keep the advance money inside the card rather than forfieting the entire amount with this kind of procedure. I have also lost money due to smart card expiry. The railways loot who pay the railways in advance and are easy on ticket less travelers. This attitude should change if they really want customers to be happy and loyal.

There are more than 7 smart card machines on kalyan (w) railway station but only 2 of them are in working condition, many times only one of them is in working condition, also the officials have no time and least bothered to check and repair it
i want to recharge smart card, my office is near masjid bunder.I am surprised there is no counter of smart card recharge at masjid bunder & there is no facility to recharge on line.So what can i do ? most of station

    I just had a bitter experience/s of traveling in Pooja Express (2413/2414), so called super fast train. I happened to travel both ways on this train with PNR no[protected] & PNR no[protected] from Ludhiana to Jaipur & back. I was surprised to experience that on Delhi to Jaipur section(Bboth ways), the train becomes a local train. Any body can board the Sleeper Class Reserved coach & ask for sitting on your berth (either politely/authoritatively). For them, there is no funda of Reservation on this train. This practice makes the train totally packed with these local passengers. You even cannot dare to move to toilets area. Your comfort & mental peace (which you suppose while reservation) is all Gone. These local people purchase ordinary tickets & obliged TTE with Rs 20 to 30 to get the sitting facility in reserved coaches. Of course, I contacted the TTE but I knew that he will take their side only (because he is happy with the money he had in his black coat pocket or black money in his White trouser pocket).It pinched me a lot as I booked my tickets 2 months back & with reasonable money. I was so upset that I planned to stop the train by pulling the chain & make this a big issue then & there but you know we Indians lack unity. Other co-passengers were not that supportive for the act. This practice in this train is affecting Govt.’s Revenue also because as per rules there is a penalty of Rs 175/passenger for traveling in sleeper class with ordinary ticket.
    I request the concerned authorities to stop this practice ( although I am not a frequent traveler on that route) in Nation’s interest. Magistrate checking should be regular phenomenon on this route to take to Task these improper travelers as well as these corrupt TTE’s who fill their own pockets at the cost of we people’s comfort. My only request- PLEASE TAKE SOME ACTION ON THIS PRACTICE ON DELHI-JAIPUR SECTION IN 2413/2414.

    I completely agree with you my freind as I've regularly faced this in Ahsram Express between Delhi - Rewari - Alwar -Jaipur section. These TT's are good for nothing. They are the corrupt, thieves, robbers and [censored]ing craps.

      To Whom So Ever It may Concern,

      This is to make you into knowledge that I was travelling in Train No: 2859 Geetanjali Express from Mumbai to DURG having a waiting List ticket with PNR No:[protected] in AC 3 tier on[protected].

      When TTE visited for checking . He behaved very inhuman and bad to all waiting list passengers including me . And told that waiting list passengers can't travel in same class and compelled me to go into Sleeper class . As sleeper class was also full, Hence whole 987 KMs of journey I had to travel standing in between two toilets space after paying to Indian Railway for AC 3 tier charge .

      So, I want you to action against one TTE Mr Abrahim Gonsalvis and one unknown TTE boarding the train from CSTM station as by paying similar amount as confirmed ticket, no one had right to behave such inhuman and absurd with us . Secondly I had searched the whole Indian Railway site, but no such rules and regulation is there . Hence need explanation on that from Indian Railway .

        Coach Position are mismatched

        Hello Sir,

        My Married Sister having confirm Tickets in Train NO: 9059 Jamnagar Intercity, Dated 02.05.09 from Ankleshwar to Rajkot. PNR NO :[protected], Transaction ID: But on Boarding Station Coach Position Display board showing AC chair car and Actual coach (boggy) not come that palce and They miss train with his Husband and two kids. I want Refund on that Tickets and Want to Go legally against Ministry of Railways Please...

        Sir,
        Sub: 1) No Reservation Chart display on the Notice Board at Mysore.
        2) No checking in Sleeper Class from Mysore To Bangalore in Train No:6221.

        I am 62 years old and heart patient. I have made 2nd Class Sleeper reservation to travel on 19th of this month from Mysore to Chennai in the Train No:6221. It was on waiting list while booking and got confirmed later. Quite surprise for me at Mysore Railway Station, such a tourist visiting place, there is no Reservation chart display notice board in the station! There was a big queue in the enquiry counter as well as in the PNR status machines. I went to the Station Master and explained my difficulties and also informed him that I am a heart patient, under went bypass twice. With his help, I came to the bogie and berth number at last minutes, though I reached to the station thirty minutes earlier.
        The train scheduled departure time is 20-15 Hrs. but started at 20-30 Hrs. No T.T came and checked the tickets. Being heart patient, I wanted to sleep; I went and searched for the TT even in other bogies. But, no one I found. I waited up to 22-00Hrs. and went to sleep. At 01-30 AM, the TT waked me to check the ticket.
        • Why it is so Sir?
        • Why I have been disturbed at 01-30 AM?
        • What for I reserved sleeper class?
        • Why the TT can not check the Sleeper Class tickets before 22-00Hrs. when the train departure time is 20-15Hrs.?
        • What is the alternative arrangements for sick patients like me and aged persons?
        • How the authorities going to make sure this will not happen again to me?

        Please note that I have to travel again from Mysore to Chennai in July this year. I don’t want to face the same situation again.

          Dear Sir,
          I was travelling along with my family and friends by Rajdhani Express( from Delhi to Bhubaneswar).I had booked five berths in B-4 compartment. (PNR;[protected]and ticket no. 02173013. five members) . Although the coach was old, I was expecting at least neat toilets. But unfortunately the western style toilet was neither having tissue paper not liquid soap and the flush was not working as well. Besides, at 12.30 in the night the A/C system of the coach failed and I got up due suffocation and heat. I found many people in the coach were suffering without knowing what to do. The third part is even more pathetic i.e. the food served was stale . I asked the pantry attendant who told that the food has been interchanged with some other train at New Delhi Railway station hence, the problem arose.I asked for the A/C operator who did not come . Finally I was forced to catch hold of the TTE of the coach, who co-operated to call all the people responsible for this mis management . The pantry manager confirmed that the food got spoiled as it was stored in hot cases. I wonder, I paid for A/C with food where as I had to have a sleep less night with empty stomach. Can the railway authority refund my money or compansate my agony. My complaint no.004 on 29th March 2009.I am expecting a reply from the railway authority. Thanking you.

            Sir,

            At Samalkot Railway station premises (East Godavari District) (Andhra Pradesh) the Vehicles Parking Contractor is charing Rs.5/- for Scooter (two wheeler) with out issuing the receipts highhandedly. There is also no display of rates to be charged by the contractor for vehicles. I think for two wheeler charging Rs.5/- is very abnormal. The authorities concerned are requested to do needful in this matter

            Hi,

            I have booked a parcel (A Hero Honda splendor) thru railways parcel service on 13 th May 2009. (Bill number J[protected] at Hajipur Railway station. It was to send from Hajipur to New Delhi.

            At the time of booking external agencies were asking for extra money Rs 500 to sent that on the same day. But I denied saying that I would pay only the money which is determined by railway. I booked the parcel and I was told that it will be sent in next two days.

            I had to travel to New Delhi after two days and hence I told my uncle to check the status after two days. As the vehicle did not reach New Delhi even after 5 days he checked it today and found that it is still lying in the platform, while all other vehicles booked along with this has been sent.But no of trains in a day passing through Hajipur railway station for New Delhi.

            This is clearly a revenge taken for not paying the extra money that they asked for.

            Could you please check the status?

            This is really correct. Actually car parking charges 5/- but contractor Ramanamurthy charge 10/- illegally. Already i gave compliant samalkota station master, but no use because Ramanamurthy give some money to samalkota station master in monthly installments.Please take action as early as possible.
            This is really correct. Actually two wheeler parking charges 5/- but contractor SALIM ASKAR charge 10/- illegally. In bhagalpur maldha division
            At Malda Town Railway station premises (Malda District) (West Bengal) the Vehicles Parking Contractor is charing Rs.10/- for Scooter/Motor Bike (two wheeler) with out issuing the receipts highhandedly. There is also no display of rates to be charged by the contractor for vehicles. I think for two wheeler charging Rs.10/- and Rs. 4 for bicycle is very abnormal. Their behavior is too rough.The authorities concerned are requested to do needful in this matter.
            I parked my scooty at Hajipur railway station on 20 Feb 17. on parking slip the rate was printed Rs3/-, but the contractor has taken Rs10/- from me.After saying also that the print is only Rs3/.It was of no use.
            So please take appropriate action against the above said contractor at the earliest so that the passengers don't get harrassed.

              Dear Sir / Madam,

              I am regular traveller of western railway local train from south mumbai to Kandivali. Its been observed that during morning time, there are very few slow trains for Kandivali. For an instance, the Borivali slow train from Charni road are at 8.30 AM, 8.43AM, and so on. Hence frequency of train is very less.

              Also there are many fast trains from Churchgate to Borivali which are all double fast not halting between andheri - Borivali. Hence many people who would like to get down between these stations would go for slow trains which increases the rush.

              Would like to suggest to keep few fast trains in the morning from Churchgate - Borivali which would slow after Andheri so that rush in slow train would reduce by huge extent. If this is not possible, then to have more slow trains from 8.00 AM - 9.00 AM in morning as most of the people would catch trains for office during this time.

              Would appreciate if quick action is taken in the above matter. Thank you.

              Western Railway — Crowd in Borivali slow trains in the morning

              Dear Sir/Mam,

              every day i catch a borivali slow [8:35 am] from Mumbai Central to reach kandivali.
              Its the peak time as majority of the people hav to reach office by 9 30 and as there are many firms in goregaon and Malad there is too much of rush in the trains. after 8 35am the next borivali slow is directly at 8 48am from Mumbai central. Hence people are forced to catch this train.

              Kindly increase the frequency of borivali slow trains between 8 30- 8 45 so that people reach office on time and do not face problems.

                I was traveling from H.Nizamuddin to Roorkee on 21/04/2009 in Deharadoon Express Train No.9019. Actually I bought general second class seating ticket of worth 60 Rs and i went to sleeper class. I thought I will give the difference charge of ticket between second class and Sleeper and i will upgrade the ticket to sleeper class but T C from that train took 100Rs from me, when i asked for receipt he replies me it's not require. He made one sign on my ticket and all the upcoming T C s checked the ticket but didn't asked me for the receipt. After this issue i cheked fare for same rout in sleeper on internet I found it 130Rs it means I fruaded for 30Rs and Indian Rail for 70Rs . All the TC's whoever checked my tickets are involved in that corruption. How can we stop this and who will take the action against these type of frauding people????????????
                i am also faced somany times corruption of T.C's during the traveling.

                    I am a passanger travelling in the AC 3 B1 coach today dt 24 april 09 by Chambal Express on berth no 58. The coach is having the provision of the side middle berth, which has been fortunately discontunied by the railways, are being issued by the train ticket collector. Me and a few of the fellow pasangers have tried to explain it to him as well that he cannot issue the side middle berth to any one and also that the chart have been prepared for ony 64 berths.
                    But under the influence of the coach attendent he refused to understand the issue.

For this, I had booked an e-ticket and on boarding the train I asked the TT to allot me a seat (senior citizen) as the e-ticket indicated “WL-1” while booking. He told me to come to the adjoining bogie and the said his Boss is there and so he wanted to talk in his presence. For allotting the seat they asked me to pay some money for allotting seat on e-ticket. I refused to pay any amount and asked him to make a confirmed ticket. He told that I will have to pay Rs.250/- as penalty (called Excess ticket). So, he charged Rs. 986/- (i.e. 736+250) for making this 2nd ticket. Please note I was asked to sit on some vacant seat and due to this I could not get even the basic facility of a pillow, sheet etc., although I was travelling after doing the hectic job at the work place. At Bina, another TTC came and asked me to change berth (probably this was my confirmed seat on the e-ticket purchased in advance) and another lady (who was having many sheets and pillows), was asked to shift to my earlier place. I was forced to lodge a written complaint at your office on 29.04.09 (only after waiting for the refund to reach me without making any complaint) and sent both e-ticket and 2nd ticket. (after scanning) but till date I have not received refund of Rs.986/- after a lapse of more than one month. Kindly expedite the process of refunding at your end.

                    yhes is p.vijay kumar, ihad taken the 4 general ticket from secundrabad to repalle with ticket no.79920629, 1 genral ticket from secundrabad to guntur and 1 genral ticket from secundrabad to nadikudhi with ticket no.79920630, 79920631 in secundrabad station. after entering into platform, i requested the T.C. to allot the bhearts for these tickets, he alloted the bhearts and given the bhearts no. 42, 43, 45, 46, 50 and 51 in coach no S6, train no. 320 (delta fast passenger) from secundrabad to repalle. acctuvally he as to take th edifference of the fair only but he collected the amount of Rs.600for 6 tickets, and he had given the 3 vouchers for the Rs.250, Rs.55and Rs.55 only.when my father asked to give the change he refused to give the amount.[ he had collected an amount of extra Rs.240 ]

                      This is just rubbish the on the spot reservation of tickets at stations has stopped suddenly dont know why! It was so convenient to get a reserved ticket through this at the last moment. Now that they have stopped it this will lead to the ticket checkers making money by taking bribes for giving people a seat at the last moment. On the spot booking was so good as it stopped wasting of seats of the people who cancelled their tickets at the last moment and n these tickets were available one hour before the departure of the train. Lot of people were not even aware of this service. So now ancient style we have to take the general ticket n bribe the tc's to get a seat wow what good progress!! they claim to be improving the railways but this doesn't look like. Instead they are finding ways to harass people all the more. why can't they continue one good thing that they had started!

                        I travelled on new delhi amritsar shatabdi express train on[protected]. i paid an amount of Rs. 1005-00 towards fare for a distance of 312 kms.
                        This executive class has been given a label of 1 A for the purpose of charging fare almost equivalent to air conditioned 1st class on rajdhani running on the same route and for the same distance.
                        this is unfare and the charges for executive class should not be more than that of II A of rajdhani for the same distance.

                        the water served on the train was hot and food was luke warm.

                        the above should be looked into by the relevant authorities.

                        after implementation of 6th pay commission more than 13 months, railway board is not getting sufficient time to finalise the new pass rules on the basis of 6th pay commission where Grade Pay is the status of service of an employee.
                        we are illfated that being a supervisor joined after 1987 getting 2nd class privilege pass but my subordinate staff due to his date of joining before 1987 is getting 1st class pass.
                        I would like to request to the competent authority to kindly finalise the issue as early as possible.
                        I would like to draw the kind attention of Mamata didi for finalising the new pass rule as early as
                        possiable.

                          I had booked a ticket on Mangala Express (Train No 2618) which was waitlisted (11, 12, 13, 14) for 9th april. Even after charts were prepared the status did not change. As I had to board the train to reach Kerala on time for an important function, I approached the Station Master and purchased a fresh ticket. The station master at Kalyan Junction charged me Rs. 1684/- (Fare) + Rs. 1000/- (Excess fare) - Total Rs. 2684/- for a normal ticket.

                          I would like to know why was I charged the excess fare of Rs. 1000/-. As train was to leave in 5 mins I could not risk waiting and seeking explanations.

                          Please help to reimburse the money.

                          I had purchased to & fro 3AC tickets for 3 person in HWH-KGM Wkly Spl train from HWH to KGM & back on 20/3/09.
                          Following fare is given in every Indian Railways official website

                          Train no. Train name Fare
                          0363(Up) HWH-KGM Wkly Spl Basic fare - Rs.1054/-
                          Resv chg – Rs.25/-

                          0364(Down) KGM-HWH Wkly Spl Basic fare – Rs. 1054/-
                          Resv chg – Rs. 25/-
                          Supfast chg – Rs.30/-

                          Total fare for upward journey per person is Rs.1079/-, so 3 passangers fare would be Rs.3237/-. Similarly, downward fare per person is Rs.1109/-, so 3 passangers fare would be Rs.3327/-.
                          However, I was charged Rs.3297/- & Rs.3432/- repectively for 2 journeys. Going by the Railways official fare chart I paid excess amount of Rs.165/-. I demand a refund of that aforesaid amount ASAP.
                          My Ticket no. & PNR no. are 34918130 &[protected] and 34918131 &[protected] respectively.
                          Also I fail to understand why same train become superfast on its downward journey from KGM to HWH.

                          Indian Railways — Excess Fare Charged During the Journey

                          Dear Sir/Madam,


                          I have booked my e-ticket from surat to Mirzapur by tapti Ganga Exp Train No 2945. My PNR No was [protected]. This PNR contains six passenger incuding me. For ID Proff I have kept Driving License Copy Duly Attested by Executive Magistrate Surat District. T C has checked the ticket authorise us for journey from surat. But after bhusaval Juction a checking staff had examined our ticket & I Proff. He has not accpeted my Id proff as a valid proff & Charged Rs.9452 Excess fare. The checking staff had told us that pay the exccess fare right now further you can take back this exccess fare from surat station by showing your origional photo id. The behaviour of the checking staff was not good with us. After reaching surat i have inquired about my exccess money fare. The station master Mr. Shiekh has told us the statement made by checking staff for refund of money is incorrect. Now this means for a single journey i have paid Rs.5706 for my pnr [protected] & Exccess fare charged Rs.9452 charged by Checking Staff.
                          Please advice us what i can do in this matter. How can i will get my exccess money charged by Checking Staff. I have also kept the origional receipt charged by checking staff.

                          i agree with that same thing happen with me i purchased 3 ticket for 2AC from NDLS to LKO and total fair as per railway official site is 802/- per person so for three people it will become 2406/- but i have been charged 2451/- for the same.i have purchased ticket from kanpur and concerning person told me that this is the reason that you are charged 45/- more i.e 15/- more per person. I demand a refund of that aforesaid amount ASAP.
                          My Ticket no. & PNR no. are 50188356 &[protected] respectively.
                          Please kindly make an inspection at PRAJAYA TOUR AND TRAVEL OPP. SECUNDERABAD RAILWAY STATION - SECUNDERABAD - Collecting money from passenger for sleeper 400/- rupees extra per head and not confirming the births ok, please visit them and take necessary action at an earliest possible.

                            Hello,

                            I would like to bring your notice that pantry car boys are not trustworthy in trains especially in Jhelum express. Below incident happened with me in running train between Itarsi and Hoshangabad station.

                            We have taken one plat idly (3 idly with sambhar) in morning time and pantry boy (who was in proper uniform with cap) asked me for Rs.25/-, I have given him an Rs.1000/- Indian currency due to unavailability of change. He went away by saying that would return balance money Rs.975/- after 5-10 min but he did not come back. I went to pantry car and described all the incidents to pantry car manager but did not get any help either from his side or from other pantry boys.

                            I wanted to put a F.I.R. but T.T.E. did not have the book, so I given him written complaint on 10-Apr-2009 and took a received copy but did not get my money till now.

                            worst catering services...
                            high cost redemption... simple food costs very high..
                            worst cleanliness...(specially toilets)
                            anyone can board the train without ticket concern
                            meals on wheels caters...are the worst caters with worthless food quality...previous caters were better

                            slow down the hike in prices ...
                            I was travelling from dhuri to nanded by sriganganagar-nanded express. No pantry car was therein the train. The tea /water was being supplied by outside vendors. The cup of tea was merely 100ml and that too of low quality charge rs 10/-. The water bottle charged 20/-
                            against 15/- this continued upto last station that is nanded. This is open corruption being
                            validated by railway authorities well within their knowledge

                            on return journey a boy with the proper uniform meals printed on back supplied one packet contain paratha and dahi for rs 100/- at jhansi station. The packet contained the name of cumsum caterors. On opening the packet one cold paratha and some 50ml lassi was found.

                            The catering by mangal train pantry staff was ok but they avoided supply of water alongwith dinner

                            although it is 11months back incident but still it irritates

                              This is regaring the trains to borivli in the morning between 9 to 9.30 are at the interval of 10 to 15 minutes which is the peak time . Due to which there the train is almost flooded by the time it comes to Jogeshwari.
                              Also Most People get down at Goregaon and Malad since there are many corporate offices . or else there should be atleast 1 fats train which slows down afte jogeshwari else atleast increase the frequency of trains.

                                At Railway Crossing in Kalka to Shimla narrow gauge route, the first crossing at Kalka near Railway workshop and another crossing at Taksaal railway station, I am continously observing that the time taken is often more than 15 minutes and some times even more than 25 minutes. Many people struggle a great deal while going to their offices, schools or to Railway station and miss the trains also. In case of emergencies also it is a very time spending affair. It is also a great wastage of time and petrol and man hours.
                                I have seen in some aRailways advertisements that a level crossing takes only maximum 5 minutes. I fail to understand that why the specified norms can not be complied in this age of technology.
                                I seek your intervention so that this problem, which leads to many troubles and great loss of national resoureces can be sorted out amicably.

                                I am from bopal village near neelkanth villa bunglow in ahmedabad Here there is a railway crossin No.15 which is never open there is very inconvenience.There is a road under the crossing through which we can go on the other side but that is also very bad and in rainey season that road is filled with water as we have to go to the next crossing which is near DPS school to go on the other side the operator on crossing no. 15 is very genuine person he is ready to help but the orders are not given to him to open the crossing.                                 My name is Sunil Vaghela. I am leaving at a place called "Golibar no Tekro", which is hardly 1 km away from the Mehmedabad railway station, Dist-kheda, Gujarat. In my village​, we are having around 1500 people leaving together. Here, I am going to describe you a one of the oldest problem, which has been facing by us since 90s era.

                                Mehmedabad city is devided in two parts by railway tracks, where one is main town and other one is village. We people are leaving in village, which resides in other part of railway tracks. There is one "railway crossing" between the road of village to town. Now, the main problem is, since the creation of railway crossing, it always remains close. We need to bend our cycles/bike to pass through the crossing. And for other heavy vehicles, we must need to go through by another road/underbridge, which is total headache. There are two underbridges, which connects my village to town, but both are always in very watery/dusty conditions. In monsoon, we cannot able to pass through any of those underbridges - we remains totally disconnected from town in the days of heavy rain. Children cannot be able to go to school in monsoon.
                                We did many complaints in Mahemdabad municipality but they are not responding well.They are keep answering stupidly, everytime we raise​ this issue. In every election, the people do voting on basis of who will fix this problem, but since many years this issue is not being resolved yet.

                                Our main concern is that, why that crossing remain always close? Why Mehmedabad railway staff doesn't doing any action to solve this issue? Nowadays, many villages of india are becoming smart villages. But, I am disappointed everytime whenever I see people of my village facing problem due to that railway crossing.

                                Sir, we don't want to see our village as a smart village, but if you help us to resolve this issue, we are so happy and will appreciate your afforts.

                                  i was travelling from Pune to Salem in Nagarcoil express 6339 in SL.Due to heavy sleep, i could not not getdown in Salem or Erode.So i have decided to getdown in Karur, which is 35km from Salem in railway route.That greedy TTR was asking a fine amount of 370 and i paid that.usually the ticekt amount will be 50 to 100.Please take necessary actions on those TTRs to save the indian government.

                                    I am a student of Presidency college (B.Sc1st yr) and travel daily from Serampore to Howrah. While traveling on 20.04.09 in the above mentioned train unfortunately I found numerous cockroaches everywhere in the ladies compartment crawling and flying making it so hard for the passengers to even sit or stand in the train. It’s a shame to state, but they were so many in numbers, even more than the no. of passengers. I am afraid to travel for the cockroaches. I feel you would consider the matter seriously.
                                    In the circumstances, I beg you to take some action to clean and disinfect the train compartments if any system therein to make it comfortable for the passengers to travel.

                                      AM SERVING FOR INDIAN AIR FORCE.BY VIRTUE OF POSTING I AM RESIDING IN DHAKI, CHAKKI BANK(PUNJAB).IN THIS SIXTH PAY COMMISSION WE WERE AUTHORISED TO TRAVEL IN AC 3 TIER IN ALL THE TRAINS WITH WARRANT/CV.OUR AUTHORITY IS PERMITTING US TO TRAVEL AC 3 TIER IN WARRANT/CV BY MENTIONING IN WARRANT/CV.BUT WHEN WE TOOK THAT WARRANTS/CVS TO THE NEAREST RAILWAY STATIONS CHAKKI BANK OR THE PATHANKOT RESERVATION COUNTERS THEY ARE NOT DOING RESERVATION IN AC 3 TIER IN OTHER TRAINS.THEY ARE SIMPLY TELLING THAT THEY DIDN'T GOT THE AUTHORISATION LETTER FROM THEIR AUTHORITY.EARLIER NEAR BY STATIONS LIKE MUKERIAN, DASUYA, KATHUA, ETC., RESERVATION COUNTERS WERE USED TO GIVE RESERVATION IN AC 3 TIER BUT THE RAILWAY EMPLOYEE OF PATHANKOT/CHAKKI BANK HAD GIVEN A RING TO THESE STATIONS FOR NOT DOING RESERVATION.

                                      BUT SIR, I WANT TO MAKE NOTE THAT THESE RESERVATION CAN BE DONE BY PAYING SOME MONEY TO BROKER/EMPLOYEE.EXCEPT IN THESE PLACE ONLY THERE IS A PROBLEM OF DOING RESERVATION IN AC 3 TIER FOR SOLDIERS WHERE AS IN MOST OF THE PLACES RESERVATION IS BEING DONE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM.

                                      SIR, IS INDIAN RAILWAYS HAS AUTHORISED SOLDIERS TO TRAVEL IN AC 3 TIER ?

                                      IF IT IS SO THEN WHY THERE IS A PROBLEM IN DOING RESERVATION IN RESERVATION COUNTERS WITH OUT PAYING BRIBE?

                                      KINDLY PLEASE TAKE SPEEDY ACTION REGARDING THESE PROBLEM MENTIONED ABOVE SO THAT TO STOP SOLDIERS SUFFER FURTHER.
