This e-mail copy given below is having all the detials pertaining to my complaint. I had booked ticket from bangalore to lakmanya tilak station on 12.08.2008 that day train was late more than 10 hours we request to department for cancellation of ticket they responded and forwarded my complain to TDR department but more than 90 days over my refund i have not received please help to get my refund.i am encloseing all mail sent details to department.

For cancellation of your ticket, please log in to your account, select the PNR you wish to cancel and cancel your ticket online. as i booked my e-ticket on[protected] but i did not get my ticket but money has been debeated from my account so plz take care abt it

sir the train which is from chennai egmore to salem by 11:20 on 24/10/2009 is canceled, i booked the tickets in online through the thakal quota, how i can get refund please reply soon i am very much upset

      Subject:- Complain about Misbehaving and not co-operating.


      With due respect, we citizen of India, want to bring in to your kind attention about the problem that my mother and my grandmother faced at the time of boarding of the train. Ticket no. 15948451, 2 tier A.C, PNR no.[protected] dated 23-11-08 Mandor express boarding from kuchaman city.the Stopping time of the train at Kuchaman city was about 2 minutes and when the train reached at kuchaman city, no body opened the door of the 2 Tier A.C coach, not even T.T was there. The train was about to leave in next 30 seconds but somehow my Mother and my grandmother manage to get in the train through sleeper coach. There were 5-6 attendants and all were eating food together, no body opened the door. When my mother asked them that why didn't they opened the door then they started misbehaving with my mother and when my mother asked them to help her to lift the luggage to her A.C 2 tier coach, they asked for 300 Rs.They said that i[censored] can give us 300 Rs, then only we'll help you.And at last someone break the chain through which my mother's suitcase was attached and took out the suitcase from the train. And when my grand mother inform the attendants that someone have break the chain and taken away her luggage then they all started laughing and ignored her.My mother asked for Complain book then one of the attendant bought the complain book without a carbon on other page, he said "write anything you want, we are not bother of loosing our job because we are already fed up of this job".
      If this is the condition of 2 Tier A.C coach then what's going to happen in Sleeper or 3 tier A.C coach. There is almost no scope of luggage missing in 2 Tier A.C.This shows that the train is not at all safe for passengers, My mother is absolutely sure that there was definitely the people from staff who have helped the thief to carry away the luggage . So I request you to register my complain and reply me as soon as possible. I hope you will help us.

      Sir,
      I am living from saharanpur. I do daily travel from Sahranpur(U.P.) to Roorkee (uttranchal). But train arriving always late. Train Name Hemkunt Express (Rishikesh to Jammutavi). Train time 18.35 Hrs arrive in Rooree railway station. and get the saharanpur station 19.45 Hrs due to Shatabdi Express (Dehradun to New Delhi) Hemkund time distrub. Please Change Hemkund Express time arriving the Roorkee station after Shatabdi Express 18.50 Hrs.

        I am residing in Daman. On 17.11.08 I booked Tatkal ticket from Udwada Station (between Vapi and Valsad) for Trivandrum-Bikaner Express, (6312).I opted for two lower berths for my aged parents and got the same. PNR[protected]. Coach S2 and seat 57 LB, 60 LB. But on boarding the train they found that both berths are upper berth. This was very difficult for them. Somehow other passengers helped them and gave their lower births. But I cannot understand why it came wrong in ticket. I would not have taken the tickets if it shown upper berth.
        Concerned officers please check while allotting seats especially for old peoples because every time cannot expect help from other peoples. If it was a computer error that should be corrected immediately. If its part of a new berth introduced in side berth then please number all the berths first and then start issuing the tickets. Otherwise fellow passengers are going to suffer.

          Regarding position of Ladies Coach

          Dear Sir/Madam,


          Greetings! I am one of the regular commuters in train. Below is a request not a complaint.

          As you know, we have a dedicated unreserved coach for ladies in the passenger/express trains, which is positioned as a last coach near to the officer who gives the Train Signal.



          As per the security is concerned, it could become high risk to have the ladies coach...

          The services provided as the Reservation counter for the railways at Manali, kullu, is a shame and a sham...
          The gentleman (the only person ever available there) sits there from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. from Monday through to Saturday. He is very rude to the people that come there... coming short of abusing them. He never has change ( which is a fair reason) and so pockets all the money that he should be rightfully returning to the people. E.g. if your ticket/ cancellation refund comes to Rs. 960/- he will not return Rs. 30/-, unless you are able to produce the exact change.
          If you are booking a Tatkal ticket, he will not confirm your ticket until he forces you to give him a commission of Rs. 50-60...
          This is surely holding someone at ransom for something they rightfully need.

            I have booked a ticket from Pune to Hyderabad PNR No.[protected] on 7th November 2008. Till 16 Nov 2008 the waiting list of the ticket came down to W/L 3. The same status is getting continued from past 3 days. Not even single passenger cancelling the ticket from 4 days is very unlikely. Could you please look into this why from 4 days the status is still W/L - 3

The status of the ticket on 17.9.2009 was waiting list No.1 & after 2 months its still on the same position. Madam whats the use of booking a ticket so early when we are not getting it confirmed?               Dear Respected Sir,

              I had booked a ticket to Ernakulum and the PNR no is[protected] and it was Tatkal WL 74/75/76. While on boarding day it is suppose to announce the chart with in 3 hrs prior to the departure time, but could not get till the time of departure. While keep try it was given message that chart yet to announce. this checking was continue till 10.00 PM. in between while checking ( 9.30 PM) the status i got message that my ticket got confirmed announced the coach no and seat no, unfortunately i could not get recognise the coach no and seat no, so again I tried, but the message was the chart was yet to prepare. I also came to know that 2 times the chart was prepared and change. Finally while departure time around 10.13PM or so understand that my ticket was waiting listed and could not able to travel. it was harassing mode as i lost my confirmed ticket, lost money (up and down taxi), lost opportunity to travel in other way as it came to know after 30 of the actual departure time, my plan could not able to meet on time, etc.. it was a big loss because of railways negligence. I request you to please look into the matter and get compensated and punish who are responsible.

              Indian Railways — Negligent ticket production

              Dear Sir,
              I am an 18 years old student.I live in West Bengal.Last day when i was returning from Kolkata to Kalyani i purchased two tickets from Sealdah to Kalyani...Paying exactly a fair of Rs.22/-(Rs.11/- each)...but i was issued with a wrong RETURN ticket of "ADULT:1 CHILD:0" which cost me the same...the details described in the ticket was NOT AT ALL CLEAR TO BE UNDERSTOOD...When i got down in Kalyani Station A TTE fined me Rs.261/-(Penalty:Rs.250/- & Rs.11/- for the extra fair for the journey...)...My question to you is still 72% people in our country is still can't read ENGLISH...Will they be treated and CHEATED BY THE INDIAN RAILWAYS in the same way as of mine???Since a minimum sum of Rs.250/- as penalty is too much to pay for most of the under priviledged people in India who travel in train & WHO IS OFTEN CHEATED IN THIS MANNER BY INDIAN RAILWAYS...

              Only after veryfying the chart, we can cancel tickets, incase we have opted for more than one train. In such a case, if the chart is prepared only 4 hours before and it attracts cancellation charge of 25%, it is unfair. I suggest that the chart be prepared atleast 8 hours before departure of train and if our ticket is confirmed on more than one train, we can cancel one ticket without any loss or with a min.loss ( not 25%)

                  The slow train to Churchgate whose scheduled time at Santacruz is 18:21 hrs. is always late by 15 minutes leading to lot of inconvenience especially for boarding a connecting train
                  Western railway local train services has become worst as far as timing are concern. Almost all trains are behind schedule by 10 to 12 minutes on an average the entire day for the last five to six months. Even the first class compartment becomes crowded in the afternoon hours. How long are you going to make us suffer like this?

                  Very rare train stand on platform 1, 2 and 3 at Borivali station in the late evening hours. Even Andheri train comes from Vihar turn out to be super-fast. You got to go all the way to platform 7 or 8. Is this what you call modernisation?

                  Central Railway and harbour Railway local train service stand to have better services on timings.
                  more trains to be introduced for Bhyander slow / fast
                  The crowd in Mira Road is numerously increased so the request is to have more of Bhyander slow / fast train so that there is some breathing space for the crowd from mira road and dahisar. the borivli trains go empty since they hault on 7 & 8 platform and nobody wants to enter and half the borivli crowd is in Bhyander. it is ideal that the 7 and 8 platform trains convert to Bhyander slow.

                  Hope to have a positive reply at this request and to improve the train services.

                  Railways — Delay of local trains

                  The running time of emu trains between ballabgarh & tilak bridge is approximatly 45 minutes. But now a days in the morning they take approximatly 1 hr 15 minutes. As mainly daily passengers travell from these trains, they reach late at office. This also lead to a huge productive man hours loss.

                    I, Smt.Uma Chakraborty, W/O Debasis Chakraborty residing at Rescourse para (opp.Govt.Quarters: A/17)P.O.&P.S.Jalpaiguri Dt.Jalpaiguri.Ph.no.[protected] would like to state that I am a physically handicapped person and I have a proper certificate regarding this.I with my family have been in Chinsura to my in-laws place. In the time of return my husband went to Chinsura Rly.Stn. to buy tickets for us on 12.11.08 at 7.05 p.m.where he produced my Handicapped Certificate to the booking counter for concession{(Appendex1/36)Rule101, serialno25}, they refused to issue tickets on concession and claimed that the Certificate was a fake one.Then my husband went to ChandanNagar Station on 13.11.08 at 11.05 a.m. to buy tickets.This time they too claimed that the Certificate was false and refused to issue tickets.Moreover they seized my Handicapped certificate and provided a receipt.My husband was harassed and assaulted mentally.I can not understand how it can happen.I have been issued tickets on concession a number of times before this.


                    I therefore, request you from humaterian ground to take drastic action against the concern person responsible for such kind of activities as my husband is mentally shocked and we too. So your immediate action in this regard is requested and get back my handicapped certificate as early as posible.

                    what is procedure of concessional ticket
                    I am garee hundred percet with her complin because i am also a physically handicapped persons.This type of atitute i would also faced from your rly-staff.Not only that i am also faced the crue mentality when i was attend rly-examination in andicapped quata The rly-authority send wrongly admit card two pices against one examination.When i asked how it would happend then they were harraged me & did not attend my examination.Then i informed through letter in verious your rail-officer, but sorry to say that i still now get no reply.Near about 5 years ago this was happend.All documents kept me.

                    My personal opinion being a handicapped that all side i.e Govt and private we are neglected. All kinds of facilities for announced by Govt for help handicapped persons for just like a jooking.Because we are not getting this.It is just like a sleeping pill for Handicapped persons & also book keeping for personal sactifation of Our Honourable Govt policy.I personally Pray all concern that kindly wike up and see the actual picture being a handicapped persons living.

                      I want to make complain regarding the facility in train 2578/Bagmati Express.



                      I did journey on date 17Oct 2008 in 2578/Bagmati Express;



                      The things are very bad in train;



                      A/C cooling is not correct. Some time its very hot inside coach.
                      There was no water in toilet in evening as well as in night on 17th night
                      There is only one chhader provided to passenger instead of two and no towel.
                      No proper food provided, only Veg/Non biryaani was available for lunch as well for dinner.
                      Lights are not working attached with sleeper’s well there is no light in coach.
                      Coach is not properly cleaned.

                      Dear Sir / Madam,

                      Railway is a very good facility and the same are being enjoyed by us.

                      But, on 10th December, 2009, while I was returning from Surat by the Viramgam Passenger, I was stopped by a coolie and was not allowed to sit on a seat which was vacant already in general couch of the train, because the train starts from Surat at 9.00 p.m. and hence, general couches remain vacant generally. But, on that day, this train was late by half an hour and people were worried whether they will be able to get seats or not for sitting. The train was also almost vacant but engaged by coolies to earn money unethically for providing seats in emergency in night.

                      This is not the way to earn money unethically in a such a way.

                      Nobody pays attention to Surat railway station activities and people are being harassed unnecessarily. Railway police force, station superintendent and other responsible persons do not take any action against such persons.

                      You are requested to investigate the matter surprisingly, becoming an ordinary member and get the proof of experience as I experienced on 10th December, 2009 in this train or some other trains such as Surat Bhusaval passenger or Surat Taptiganga passengers, etc.

                      Suppose, if the train is right time, coolies may perhaps not engage seats for unethical earnings.

                      You are requested to investigate the matter in your ways and take severe/ stern action against such coolies and all other people who are involved with the such unethical money earning scandals.

                      Sir / Madam, I understand, you will view this matter very seriously and take severe/ stern disciplinary against such people.

                        Subject: Complaint against the more charging for veg. meals by pantry car personnel’s staff.
                        Sir
                        I would like to inform that I undersigned travelled with my family members from Manmad to Nizamuddin on 4th November 2008. The information of which is described below:

                        From Manmad Junction (MMR) to NZM (H. Nizamuddin)
                        Total passenger-06
                        It is reported that I ordered the train’s pantry staff vendor for providing 06 veg. meals. I was thereby provided 06 veg. meals without water and lesser quantity of food as per scale. Not even that they charged me Rs 240/- at the cost of Rs 40/- each, which was Rs 8/- more as fixed by railway authorities. When we asked the Pantry Car Manager(Mr. Roy) about more charging of meal he replied that they are supplying 200gm rice instead of 150gm rice, but it is impossible to pack 200gm rice in packet of 150gm capacity packet. Moreover the fact is that I didn’t ask for rice and instead ordered 4 paranthas (the 2 extra paranthas were adjusted against rice).I asked other passengers and found out that everybody was overcharged and thus cheated.
                        It means the train pantry staff is cheating all the passengers in huge manner by increasing prices of meal and supplying less quantity of food of substandard quality. Such kind of cheating should be stopped immediately and culprits must be punished.
                        The train’s pantry staff manager (Mr. Roy) also argued with me in very rude manner and later tried to lock my mouth by offering the money back. I was but not fighting only for myself so asked him to pay the overcharged amount to all the passengers he cheated, to which he clearly refused thus creating a deadlock. When I asked the reasons of overcharging he told me that R.P.F. and other train staff employees also eat without paying and some of the earnings go to higher officials who are above him. Thereby he has to manage the accounts likewise.
                        All these information can be obtained by a normal person within minutes. So I think railway authorities will not find any difficulty in catching the culprits and punishing them if they want to. If stern action is not taken against all the culprits who are trying to blot the image of world’s largest railways network & service-The INDIAN RAILWAYS. I will surely be forced to knock the door of Court to fight for the citizens of INDIA & for prestigious image of INDIAN RAILWAYS.

                        Indian Railways — Pantry Car Meal prices on Indian railways

                        Pantry Car attendants in train No. 2834 & 2833 charge rampantly without any norm. They charge Rs. 50/- for a Vegetarian Meal, otherwiase charged Rs 40/- on other trains
                        what is most appalling is not the price or quantity ..but the QUALITY and the general 'casual' LACK OF HYGIENE. what the hell are they 'charging for'..?..they think they are serving 'captives' in some 'central prison'.

                        and railway only cares about it's commission.

                        when a railway officer is travelling, he gets special food from the station, why don't he eat from the pantry? or is it only for the cattle-class-helpless-travellers like us? he knows where it comes from...and how it is made, you can't blame him for not eating it.

                        I was travelling with my family in train number 12859 Gitanjali Express on 31.12.2013 from Badnera (BD) to Jharsuguda (JSG).

                        My Ticket Particulars are as follows :

                        On boarding the train, to my dismay I have found that the pantry staffs were selling tea at a rate of Rs. 10/- per cup. So far my knowledge goes, as per rate of IRCTC, the price of a cup of tea is Rs. 7/-. On enquiry, it was told by the Thus it was clearly a case of over-charging when we have no option onboard. Even during night also I was having no other option but to take meal from them @Rs. 130/- for a Fish Meal (comprising Rice, Dal, Fish Curry with two pieces fish). I personally approached the on-duty Pantry Manager Mr. Amarjit Singh and discussed the issue. It was understood he was well aware of the fact and it was told by him that in Gitanjali Exp., the prices of food items are different from other trains (as if Gitanjali Exp. does not come under the purview of Indian Railways). On demand he could not show rate chart of the food items. To my more dismay he was reluctant when I insisted for bill/receipt for Rs. 10/- against the tea consumed and also shown the audacity by not providing me the Complaint Book to lodge the complaint, even though he is a paid Govt. servant. As a bonafide passenger, I have all the rights to lodge a complaint in the complaint book, which was supposed to be provided by the pantry manager.

                        Now, I would like to request authorities of Indian Railways (being the largest railway on this earth), to enquire into the matter & should immediately take remedial measures to eradicate corruption right from the grass-root level.

                          This is in response to your new decision to introduce a side middle birth in 2839 Howrah –Chennai mail. I was travelling in the said train on 8/11/08. When I boarded the train from Howrah I was struck by the awful commotion in the bogie which was quite unusual for a 3A.C bogie . On further enquiry I found out that a new berth has been introduced as side middle birth . I felt very bad to see this new development. Because it greatly hurt my level of comfort. I always felt the 3tier A.C is overloaded every time and that 2tier A.C is the most comfortable . I always avoided to travel in 3 tier A.C unless I have side lower or side upper . Because I always feel that all berths except the side ones are over crowded in a 3tier A.C bogie and that on every side there should be not more than two passengers like 2 tier A.C. I always expected that Railway will do something to remove this uncomfortable way of adjusting three passenger’s on each side . But to utter dismay when I discovered that a third berth(middle berth) is introduced on the side(futher adding to already existing discomfort) I was very disappointed because this idea is largely compromises passengers comfort. For me this idea has proved to be disastrous. I would rather feel more comfortable to travel in non-A.C sleeper class than to travel in 3tier A.C with side middle birth. For me travelling in 3tier A.C is now more a sort of punishment than enjoyment.Travelling now in 3A.C is simply unacceptable.

                          I would request railway to stop such disastrous idea of introducing 3A.C with side middle birth as it is only killing the comfort and travel charm of fellow passengers.

                          Side Berth of IInd AC in Rajdhani — Facililities of Side Berth Passenger

                          I was travelling by August Kranti Express on 10th Oct. '08 by booking a Tatkal Ticket(PNR-[protected]) . The side berth of the A4 Coach was very uncomfortable as gap of both the parts of lower berth was very big. There was no power plug facility like the other side.

                          Even though people pay equal fare, still the facility of side berth passenger is equal to that of III Ac except the curtain.

                          It is requested to look after the facilities of the side berth passenger as Railway is charging money.

                          the introduction of side middle birth by lalu is completely is untolerable. it is harassment of passanger on account of their disability to provide good facility to passanger of india. being a railway minister he should think of passengers comfort at a top priority as they pay the amount as mentioned. also this side middle birth should be for garibrath not for all trains and even in 3rd ac. its a matter of peoples health too. i m a asthematic patient, i couldnt even breath in such situation also its then completely suffocation and blocking situatin in trains by introducing this extra side middle birth. i stongly oppose to this new introduction of side middle birth and want to be removed from all trains. Please someone help in this context as a matter of everyone's confortabiltiy.
                          I totally agree with Mr. Alok. Iam sure Indian railways finds it more profitable now with additional berths. You dont book profits at the cost of comfort of the common man. Introduce a change than betters the conditions not something that worsens the conditions.

                          I boarded the train from one stop after the starting point, I found my place is already occupied by people, the person in side lower and side upper have already packed up there luggage, no space left to keep my luggage, so I had to sit keeping luggage on my lap. 4 people sitting in the place of 2 people in side berth, one can easily get hydrocele .

                          The guy getting SMB cannot sit properly, cannot keep his luggage, cannot sleep in that small berth so the fare should never be more than 50%, I guess railways shouls alo provide free hydrocele insurance to all SMB

                          If you are a girl and got SMB, who knows 2 perverts from both side can keep on touching your back and front on the context of
                          no space.

                          Shame on indian railways, Shame on railway ministry for trying to make traveling by train as horrible as it is while traveling by train in bihar.

                          Let us come together and file RTI on railway ministry asking them since neither the person can sleep nor can he sit, nor can he keep his luggage, the SMB ticket should cost 75% less than normal berth or else remove it . If RTI does not work we can file a PIL, let some judge of court travel by SMB for 2 days and provide his judgement.
                          It is high time that Indian Railway took appropriate immediate steps to meet the greatest challenge that no public enterprise of such magnitude in the world, has since been faced, in terms of providing comfortable mobility to hundreds of millions of passengers, daily. India with ever fast growing population, is an amalgam of different stages of social strata, is indeed a challenge to the public transport system. The decision makers at the helm of affairs should immediately look into the aspect of providing "room" to all the passengers. The present way of treating the passengers as lambs & goats, pushing them en mass into one compartment, should be discarded forthwith. The latest version of railway authorities in the name of providing more "room" to extra passengers, by introducing third side berth, is really discomfort to all passengers in that compartment. Indians are honorable, we ourselves can't, shouldn't be indifferent to the discomfort of our fellow citizens, hence the authorities should add some more bogie's / think of restructuring existing compartments as double decker. The ultimate aim should be --providing comfortable travel to all. In this connection the present concerned authorities should be sensitized /given training how to respond to passengers' discomfort, quickly.

                          I fully agree that introduction of side middle birth is totally inconveinent. Railway Minister should lookinto this seriously and remove side middle birth so that the passengers can travel comfortably.

                          Apart from the side middle birth issue, they started allotting RAC Seats in the normal birth. i.e. One Normal Lower Birth & Middle Birth(1 &2) is allotted for 3 sitting and all three of them has to sit continuously where in the person in the oposite lower birth will be sleeping and three people will be watching. Imagine if the opposite lower birth passenger is female???????????

                          Lalu Ji, pl. put a stop to this non-sense and remove middle birth.
                          this type of birth is not good for people.it is very bad for indian people.so better ths type facility should not provide.
                          I had experienced this when I boarded the coromandel express from howrah to chennai on the way to Mangalore. For me its basically a hectic journey since I start from howrah in the afternoon and end up reaching my place by 3rd day. Travelling all the way in a SMB coach is horrible and knowing that common man has no value/voice in our country. My only option is not to travel everyyear to meet my old parents. Accumulate money and travel only once in three years so that I can afford to pay 2nd class AC. I don't know how senior citizens and ladies with small children travel in this worst ever made train journey by Indian Railways.
                          I fullya gree with the complaints here. I used to think that the Railways should remove the normal middle berth but to my horror I see that they have not only not removed the middle berth but have added a Side Middle Berth. This clearly shows how Railways treats it customers and then they sya that they are mking profir. I am sure somone who is paying 700 Rupees for a AC 3 tier berth will nto mind paying 750 instead or 800 but travel in comfort. If only the Cheap airlines could provide a bette ralternative. Shame on railways and Shame on Lalu...I have travlled in some many trains including in China but no where there is 3 tier forget 3 tier side berth an don top of it in China they do not have Side berths also they have only sitting in side and som etrians nothing in the side. Clear difference in how people are treated and mind you I am nto comparing Europe or US am comparing a developing populus country with another

                          As i had been suffered from your reservation procedures on 07.05.09.
                          i was travelling from kaliyaganj to kolkata vide PNR [protected] in that time there was no allotment of side middle birth from your end but unfortunately on returning at 09.05.09 vide no [protected] we were suffered by the allotment of side middle birth.

                          How many complaints railways needs to revert the additional side birth.
                          Whenever passenger travels if he/she find the change 1st time since their last travel it is surprise to them. This indicates railways have not taken care to educate the passengers although some note appears at side birth, it is not sufficient. Since the inception of additional 3rd birth no change in reservation system is done to accommodate the change. It adds to further confusion to passengers and creates chaos among other passengers who is not having side births.

                          It seems railways just interested in profit and not the real comfort of passangers. Why can not add one more birth instead of having additional birth.
                          Now lalu is gone so the indian railways should remove the side middle birth atleast from AC 3 Tier.

                          Don’t you think it is ridiculous of having a middle berth added to the side seating of the railway coaches in India. The side berth is shorter when compared to the regular ones and very compact and adding fuel to fire. They have introduced a concept of adding an extra 10 people with 10 extra side berths to a compartment.

                          This helps in reducing the population because if a compartment is met with an accident you have 10 extra people passing away and an average to 150 people per train.

                          The government has 2 advantages.

                          1. They have added revenue for 150 people for the same old running cost
                          2. In case of calamity the addition will be 100+ people meeting a fatal end which takes care of growing population, thanks in a way.

                          The customer has many disadvantages.

                          1. They pay the same amount for a cramped travel.
                          2. 10 extra people using the same toilets
                          3. The joy of enjoying you travel with kids sitting is lost
                          4. An early sun rise and sun set is missed out etc…

                          I hope the government looks into this and make railways more comfort to travel and stop focusing these silly ideas.

                          The best idea will be add an additional compartment with the best engine pulling horse power or increase the number of trains according to demand.

                          I hope the government looks at saving cost by diverting the cost spent by the railway minister in lavish and have them transferred to the comfort of the ordinary man who spends his own money for the travel and not travel on other peoples hard earned money.

                          This is a total infringement on a human beings right to safe travel , as it is the Indian railway boggies are a death trap in case of accidents.

                          Now with the Side Middle berths railways has ensured that people wont get a chance to escape.
                          Have you tried sitting up or getting up in any of the side berths its not possible - without crrokingt your body in an uncomfortable way ( not tgo mention the clasutropbic feelings)

                          There is no way a 6 foot person can get out of that seat in case of an emergency plus increased crowd without increase in facility and lack of luggage space which comes with this is totally inhumane , wonder what the so called opposition parties and human right organizations were doing when these kinds of inconvenience measures were being implemented.

                          Railways should

                          1) Immediately disband the use of these SMB and restore the Side Upper berth to its old specification ( even in trains where SMB has been removed the SUB is left at the same height which is equally dis comfortable for tall people

                            I have been provided with AIRTEL No [protected] (Post Paid CUG-Indian Railways) by Railway as I am posted as Chief Materials Manager at Integral Coach Factory/Chennai.
                            I have registered with Customer Service of AIRTEL to send me message regarding unbilled amount on daily basis.I have receved following message during last three days.
                            Approximate unbilled usage as on Amount

                            [protected] hrs Rs.477.32
                            I am not using the mobile beyond our CUG to the extent the unbilled amount is being messaged to me.I could not get satisfactory reply from customer care of AIRTEL (COMPLAINT NO.[protected] and the person kept on repeating that necessary correction in the bill can be done only at the time of final generation of bill.
                            I could not get satisfactory reply and the high unimaginable amount being messaged to me is highly UNREALISTIC.
                            You are requested to do the needfull for correction o[censored]NBILLED AMOUNT being sent to me at the begining itself as it will be too late to rectify the same at the time of final bill as financial DAMAGE would have taken place by that time.

                            I hope my grievances will be redressed and I will not be put to financial loss.

                              Indian Railways — non-delivery of tickets

                              I have booked two tickets from Secunderabad to Bangalore and back for my mother, Smt Usha on 08-05-08. I am attaching the booking history which contains the PNR number etc. I bring to your notice that I have not received these two tickets so far at the delivery address.                                 I fail to understand why senior citizens are allotted only upper births ? Made 3 attempts to book a ticket for my father aged 84 and got upper birth all the 3 times ! PNRs are : [protected], [protected], [protected]. Other examples from the past are ; [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected].

                                Though the ministry claims to be very passenger friendly and IT savvy, yet the reality is that the ministry is still ruled by people with very low respect towards travelers. A simple string allocated with senior citizen in the system variables can offer comforts to the veterans but who cares...!

                                If you think, that I didn't try the "book my ticket only if I am allotted at least one lower..." then try it out yourselves. They'll charge you before the ticket is booked and raise their thumb immediately after. Needless to mention, you get your money back after 2 to 3 working days as if you are penalised to care for your elderly lot...

                                Shame on the ministry and its administrators.

                                  I went to the railway station at night dated 07/11/08 to see off my few guest (Representative of Allahabad High Court) to catch Nauchandi Express train No. 4512 there two tickets for AC 2 Tier waiting 1 & 2 and another ticket of AC 3 Tier valid ticket.

                                  When the train reached to Rampur station (time 12.23) we immediately came down to AC 2 Tier coach and no T.T. or railway staff was there, I immediately asked to the attendant to find out the T.T. and their half of the luggage was already transferred to the coach by coolie, finally we were told no seat is available in the same coach, in between train started moving. Few luggage was left behind on the platform I immediately pulled the stop chain to stop the train.

                                  After 5 minutes train started moving and immediately one R.P.F. constable came to me and started talking me vulgarly I told him the reason for C.P.C. and committed for the above said reason.

                                  I was asked to pay bribe, which I refused and was taken to the Railway Protection Force Chawki, there were 6 constables who were totally drunk and started bargaining with me for bribe. Station Officer Pratap Singh Negi for R.P.F. was not present at the office and was told about the matter on mobile with the same constable, I personally heard the communication between them he was briefing him that very big party is over there in the police station, Prabhari up nirakshak Pratap Singh Negi came at 2.30 am who was badly drunk and started abusing me and I was locked up in the lock up. He vulgarly abused me and started beating me I got a wounds on my whole body and have got stitches over there, he looted 25, 000 Rs. Cash, one diamond ring, one gold chain and damaged my Honda City car which was parked outside the Railway Station. I was not allowed to call my relatives or friends to the R.P.F. Station. Finally my guests which were about to travel informed my family and friends who came to the spot and told him about the matter.

                                  When Pratap Singh Negi came to know that I am a reputed person of the town. I was asked to write an application for the cause of C.P.C. in the pressure, than I was released from the lockup.

                                  Sir from last 28 years I am traveling in Indian Railways and always travel in AC Class, I have paid lacs of Rs. revenue to the Indian Railways.

                                  I would like to say it’s a matter of shame for the department with this kind of corrupt officers and police staff who are for the protection and convenience, and have been appointed by the Indian Railways.

                                  I made complaint to all the high officials of Indian Railways along with Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav Railway Minister of India by emails and faxes, but no action has been taken yet against the Pratap Singh Negi along with six Constables.

                                  I personally spoke to the office of Mr. Rajiv Mathour Director General for R.P.F. through my cell phone, who even dint bauthor to talk to me, than I spoke to Mr. M.S. Sunil Deputy Director for Central Crime for R.P.F. and brief him about the matter, I was told to speak to Mr. Mehta I.G. for R.P.F. I called to his office he also dint bauthor to talk to me. Than yesterday dated 09/11/2008 I got the cell number of D.I.G. for R.P.F. through net I called to Mr. P.S. Rawal and brief him the matter and I send the email to him regarding my complaint.

                                  I would like to mention one more thing here, when the Cabinet Minister for Indian Railways Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav is already under the corruption charges for the Fodder Scam in Bohar, how could I expect to get justice from the Indian Railways.

                                  Finally I have made complaint at the Chief Judicial Megisterate at the Rampur District and Session Court.

                                  Today dated 10/11/2008 I have not get back my diamond ring, gold chain and Rs. 25, 000 cash which was looted by the R.P.F. staff at Rampur Railway Station.

                                  Me and my brother were traveling form mumbai to jalgaon in dadar-amritsar train.
                                  Some people were sitting on our seats when we told them that this is our seat they started showing their power. They were wearing orange cloth on their shoulder(Person of some political party) and the train was full of them.They were asking for ticket and when we showed them ticket they told we are not going to go, do whatever you want. Few luggage was left behind on the platform I immediately pulled the stop chain to stop the train.

                                  After 5 minutes train started moving and immediately one R.P.F. constable came to me and started talking me vulgarly I told him the reason for C.P.C. and committed for the above said reason.

                                  I was asked to pay bribe, which I refused and was taken to the Railway Protection Force Chawki, there were 6 constables who were totally drunk and started bargaining with me for bribe. Station Officer Pratap Singh Negi for R.P.F. was not present at the office and was told about the matter on mobile with the same constable, I personally heard the communication between them he was briefing him that very big party is over there in the police station, Prabhari up nirakshak Pratap Singh Negi came at 2.30 am who was badly drunk and started abusing me and I was locked up in the lock up. He vulgarly abused me and started beating me I got a wounds on my whole body and have got stitches over there, he looted 25, 000 Rs. Cash, one diamond ring, one gold chain and damaged my Honda City car which was parked outside the Railway Station. I was not allowed to call my relatives or friends to the R.P.F. Station. Finally my guests which were about to travel informed my family and friends who came to the spot and told him about the matter.

                                  When Pratap Singh Negi came to know that I am a reputed person of the town. I was asked to write an application for the cause of C.P.C. in the pressure, than I was released from the lockup.

                                  Sir from last 28 years I am traveling in Indian Railways and always travel in AC Class, I have paid lacs of Rs. revenue to the Indian Railways.

                                  I would like to say it’s a matter of shame for the department with this kind of corrupt officers and police staff who are for the protection and convenience, and have been appointed by the Indian Railways.

                                  I made complaint to all the high officials of Indian Railways along with Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav Railway Minister of India by emails and faxes, but no action has been taken yet against the Pratap Singh Negi along with six Constables.

                                  I personally spoke to the office of Mr. Rajiv Mathour Director General for R.P.F. through my cell phone, who even dint bauthor to talk to me, than I spoke to Mr. M.S. Sunil Deputy Director for Central Crime for R.P.F. and brief him about the matter, I was told to speak to Mr. Mehta I.G. for R.P.F. I called to his office he also dint bauthor to talk to me. Than yesterday dated 09/11/2008 I got the cell number of D.I.G. for R.P.F. through net I called to Mr. P.S. Rawal and brief him the matter and I send the email to him regarding my complaint.

                                  I would like to mention one more thing here, when the Cabinet Minister for Indian Railways Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav is already under the corruption charges for the Fodder Scam in Bihar, how could I expect to get justice from the Indian Railways.

                                  Finally I have made complaint at the Chief Judicial Megisterate at the Rampur District and Session Court.

                                  Today dated 11/11/2008 I have not get back my diamond ring, gold chain and Rs. 25, 000 cash which was looted by the R.P.F. staff at Rampur Railway Station.

                                  With reference to the PNR number provided above, I have travelled along with my family by Gareeb Rath (Train No. 2739) from Viskhapatnam to Seconderabad on 17th January 2009.

                                  My reservation status after Chart preparation was RG3 - 1 for 3 o[censored]s.

                                  The TTE, who was in charge of the G3 bogie, after so many requests and discussions to confirm the berths for us, has demanded money to tell the already allotted berths, though there were several berths vacant. I finally paid the TTE to have a comfortable journey as I have already spent so much.

                                  It is also inform to you that the TTE was sitting in the Chair Car without even coming to the RAC travellers. He was collecting money who ever meets him.

                                  I request the authorities to take appropriate action for the corrupt practices by the said TTE.

                                  It is also to inform you that at Seconderabad station, corrupt practices are followed in the name of EQ (Emergency Quota). They collect money and release EQ. When contacted about this, the railway personnel sitting there went into arguments and have no concern about the sufferings of the public. I request that the EQ procedure to be abondoned.

                                  I am sending this email with a "little hope", that this kind of corrupt practices could be stopped to some extent (if authorities are concerned) in this corrupt country.

                                  I would like to give you attention through this mail to your local train services to main line section of Sealdah. On 8th May 2009 at 03:20 am at morning I was going to my home Naihati from sealdah through UP Krishna Nagar local ( Dept time from Sealdah : 03:20 am ). At 03:00 am when I have reached station I got the car was standing on platfrom number 1, normally I took a seat beside window at compartment number 3. At 03:13 am some people came to that compartment and telling us, we will have to leave that compartment because, that compartment is alloted for newspaper carring.But no where in your train writen " Reserved for News Paper" like ( RMS ). After few minutes they were started using slangs when we refuges to relise the seats, not only that they started pushing pessenger from that compartment by hampering through News paper roll. They are telling loudly "we are paing to all big shots of Sealdah Station for that, no one can't stop them.

                                  If it is going...now a days will come normal pessenger will leave their temperment and will started ...anything and you can't stop that.

                                  So, my suggestion is please take care of this matter seriously, they can't take ride of our National Property. And will not to make us furious to resolve that matter in other way...by fighting.If we want we can do wht ever we feel to do with them but we don't to take any ilegal steps for that matter, otherwise that will became a bis issue.

                                  Railway personnel are notorious and their attitude towards passengers and common citizen reminds us that we are yet to gain independence from the British. What we need to do is to boycot socially all the railway personnel. No amount of complaint to any authority is likely to evoke a positive outcome, since right from top to bottom everybody shares the booty. All the employees amasses wealth which are far in excess of their known sources of income, but not a single person has been prosecuted for illegal gratification.
                                  it is unfortunate that this happened to you mr. chawla... but this is a regular attitude of the railway personels. most of the incidents are unreported and a few case which the people like you figure out is discouraged by the authorities.
                                  Harassment of Passengers
                                  14th July, 09

                                  I am a regular office-goer and use the Thane-Nerul line to commute to office by the 9.14 am Thane-Nerul train. I observe daily some 7 to 8 plain clothed people target the last vendor compartment and harass passengers claiming it to be ladies. They even manhandle unwary commuters when they ask questions. They often let people go on payment of bribes ranging from Rs. 200 to Rs. 520. Today, the 14th of July as usual, they caught around 10 to 12 commuters . Usually it is actually mentioned that the compartment is for ladies from 4.00 am to 10.00 am from Mumbai towards the down line. But today there was no mention of the compartment being ladies. I was at the door of the next compartment today as I presumed that the group of 7 to 8 people were going to repeat their usual act. Before boarding, I checked out the compartment on both sides and confirmed that nothing was mentioned except that the compartment is reserved for senior citizens from 12.00 pm to 15.00 hrs. This needs to be taken up seriously or else many unwary commuters will be robbed of their savings.

                                  Hope somebody acts on this urgently.
                                  I Started my journey from Patna to Guwahati by Okha Guwahati Express on 19/07/2009 with my friend Viru Sharma... Ticket No[protected] PNR No-[protected] in 3 Tier A/C coach no- B3 Berth No 28 & 29... I am very sorry to say that we were provided very dirty quality of bed roll which was not washed properly and it was already used before.. The coach attendend mis-behaved with us and said Okha se ab tak 5 (five) logo se ye berth use kiya hai, mai itne bed roll kaha se lau... Jo hai wahi milega.. lena hai to lo nahi to aase hi pare raho... He also not given towel and said it was not provided to him so didnot give towel to us.

                                  We asked to give complain book but he refused. After a search of half n hour we didnot find Ticket Inspecter... In the mein time the train reached at Barauni Station and suddenly we find a Ticket Inspecter and asked to lodge a complain regarding this matter. He said it was with Guard of the Train so at last we lodge a complain to guard. I am surprise that it was the First complain lodge by us to the Guard.

                                  Kindly look this matter as a very serious matter and take action againset it.

                                  Under the new law, 1% of the police should be shot every year. In other words death rate among police should be maintained at 2% [1% natural and 1% to be shot]. That will be better payback for the unsusual powers they enjoy.

                                  To shoot corrupt police, a counter organisation like Stalin's NKVD or Hitler's SS [but not of evil nature] should be built. Even if there is flimsiest evidence that a policeman is involoved in crimes against the society, he should be shot.

                                  Assuming that there 1, 000, 000 policemen in India, 1% makes 10, 000. Means 10, 000/365 or 30 policemen should be legally shot every day. This is not a big number to be alarmed. But it is the price police should pay for enjoying brutal powers.

                                  If govt comes with a new law to execute and use the bodies of corrupt police officials, the following benefits can be obtained from the body of a single corrupt policeman:

                                  2 Kidneys, 2 Eyes, and 1 Liver weighing 1.5 kgs. These can be used by those who are in need of organs.

                                  8 liters of Blood can be transferred to the blood banks to help the needy.

                                  10 kgs of Bones can be used to manufacture calcium and magnesium vitamin tablets.

                                  30 kgs of flesh, including intestines, can used as food for pet animals like cats, dogs etc. and also as food for the animans in Zoos like heynas, wolves, tigers, lions, leopards, etc.

                                  Indian Railways — Corrupt Booking Staff and Police

                                  I went to Chinchwad (Pune) station on 14 october 2009 to book a tatkal ticket. The police diverted attention of common people by Lathi Charge and helped the Agents to get the first place in que. This resulted in non availability of tickets to common people. The agents even beat 2 people in the dispute. I took up the matter with Senior Commertial Manager (Pune Division). His answer was totally unsatisfactory. I missed the diwali occation with my family, thanks to the corruption of officials.

                                  The madam on counter No.3 was exceptionally corrupt. I don't think anybody of these government servants has pleged for peoper service. The agents, which have offices outside station were involved

                                  Personal — Abusement of Luggage berths by Commuters

                                  I am a regular commuter of Indian Railway and fond of his excellant service to the nation. These days whichever train I board, a hardening scene I accustom is during rush period, some passengers are finding luggage berths as their seat or their sleeping place. This is really making immense hardships to the passengers who were wandering in the compartment to place their luggages. I suggest Indian Railways should go very harsh on the above indisciplined passengers like slapping heavy penalty for those who are abusing the amenities in the train compartments.

                                  Indian Railways — Deteriorating law and order on local trains

                                  In spite of the No Smoking policies that have been put in place for the good of the public, many people do not seem to follow the rules. There are vendors selling cigarettes openly on Krishnanagar City Jn. (Sealdah Division) platforms and passengers openly smoke inside the coaches. This is especially difficult now that in winter the windows have to be kept closed. On protesting, the smokers either do not bother and instead become aggressive. It is difficult for people with respiratory ailments to travel inside the local trains. Daily passengers are particularly to blame because they think they own the trains. They also reserve seats in advance, often something like 20 seats using newspapers or handkerchiefs and intimidate anyone who tries to oppose them. This situation makes travelling hell for many people who like to travel in peace and comfort. I would request the Railway Protection Force to help make our journey a safe and pleasurable one. Kindly look into the matter. Law and order is the least that we can expect while travelling on trains and this situation will get worse as time progresses if the errant public are not booked for breaking the law.

                                  I tried to post this complaint on the RPF site but the submission form on the site does not seem to be working. The email ID posted on the Sealdah Division website also does not work. How are we supposed to send them our complaints to them over the internet? It is surprising that a large organization like the Indian Railways which mainly caters to offer service to the public does not have a proper system for the public to post their grievances.

                                  REMEDY OF GRIEVANCES

                                  I would like to draw the kind attention of the concern authority against the harassment faced by passenger through this mail.

                                  On 22 Jan 10 I was travelling by Amritsar Howrah Mail (3006) Coach No. B2 and Berth No. 48 and PNR No[protected], the train departed near about at 1230am, at that time no TTE came to check my ticket. After crossing Muradabad Railway Station suddenly a TTE came and told me that my ticket has been cancelled and he allotted that seat to someone else. I produced my valid ticket, but he was telling me that this ticket has been cancelled by Amritsar TTE, and was blaming me for not producing the ticket to Amritsar TTE and telling me that its the duty of the individual to search for the TTE and producing the Journey Ticket. His attitude was very aggressive and not at all passenger friendly. His manner and wordings were not at all respectful. Being a Railway Servant his duty is to help the passanger and not to harass. This type of attitude not only leaves a negative impression towards the profession of TTE but also a great question mark for the management of Indian Railway.                                   REMEDY OF GRIEVANCES

                                  Sir,

                                  I would like to draw the kind attention of the concern authority against the harassment faced by passenger through this mail.

                                  On 22 Jan 10 I was travelling by Amritsar Howrah Mail (3006) Coach No. B2 and Berth No. 48 and PNR No[protected], the train departed near about at 1230am, at that time no TTE came to check my ticket. After crossing Muradabad Railway Station suddenly a TTE came and told me that my ticket has been cancelled and he allotted that seat to someone else. I produced my valid ticket, but he was telling me that this ticket has been cancelled by Amritsar TTE, and was blaming me for not producing the ticket to Amritsar TTE and telling me that its the duty of the individual to search for the TTE and producing the Journey Ticket. His attitude was very aggressive and not at all passenger friendly. His manner and wordings were not at all respectful. He was not in a proper dress code and no name tab was there. He told his name as Mr. Agnihotri. Being a Railway Servant his duty is to help the passanger and not to harass. This type of attitude not only leaves a negative impression towards the profession of TTE but also a great question mark for the management of Indian Railway. I would like to request again that strict disciplinary action may please be initiated against that TTE to avoid further inconvenience by the passengers of Indian Railways.

                                  Complaint regarding not accepting student concession by booking clerk and arrogant behavior by the co-clerk.

                                  I had gone to book tickets to Thiruvamiyur railway station on 20/02/2010 at 09:30Hrs.
                                  The date of my traveling is 16/04/2010 in train no. 0635 Kollam express boarding at Chennai central to Palakkad. and return ticket Train no. 6042 Chennai Express 09/05/2010 Palakkad to Chennai central.

                                  I had got a concession letter for my son aged 11 from the school. ( The name of the school is SISHYA No. 2 Padmanabha Nagar, 2nd Street, Adayar, Chennai 600 020.
                                  The school had given us the concession form from the school . It is a government prescribed form and the booking clerk told me that this has to be verified, so he informed me to get the verification seal from the lady who was sitting in counter 1 who was issuing local train tickets(MRTS tickets). I approached the lady. she said first come in the queue, i said the booking clerk has sent me to get verification seal from you, and i have not come to buy local tickets, but she was shouting very badly back to me then she took the concession form from me and said with out even verifying any of the register she said the school is not valid, i told her this is a government form and this was issued by me in the school with principal signature & seal but how can you refuse it, she was so adamant and spoke very badly and rudely to me. She says that she will call the RPF and put me behind bars. The way she spoke and threw the concession letter back to me. I was badly humiliated and upset and i booked my tickets without concession. This concession given by the school became a waste for me. In the school assembly they said that students can avail the railway student concession, but the railway clerk behaves to us like this, then what should i do. I REQUEST TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION ON THE LADY AND THE BOOKING CLERK. You can check my form where i have written the concession Number but they have totally rejected. I was upset by the lady spoke to me so rude and harsh. I booked the tickets with out student concession

                                  Hi this raja u people know that fighting for window seats at local trains.But all know a recent incident at kasara train 4 criminals had beated one 18 yrs old boy & thrown from local train.Whats happening what this RPF & MUMBAI POLICE r doing.The 4 criminal & other who were escaped they should be punished severly means very badly cut their both hand or hangout them.Pl take a action & Rpf should check at local trains at morning at kasara to cst whats happening at civil dress & give the punishments.Sattions like Kasara, Kalyan, Ambernath & mostly at Dombivili there r so many Mavalis check their & take the action.

                                  This to inform you that I am a daily commuter of Sealdah Division Circular Railway from Barrackpore to B.B.D.Bag but to my surprise I like to say that everyday I face difficulty in getting into the railway compartment because some unruly mob commuting everyday are very much condemn in unnecessary pushing and dashing which may cause injury to a person which I had to suffer today on 6.3.2010 at B.B.D.Bag when I got hurt on my leg and lot of blood came out.
                                  Therefore it is my request to you to deploy Railway Protection personnel for suppressing such unruly mob inorder to protect and help people to get into the train peacefully.

                                  on dated 14/09/2010 I'd gone New Delhi Railway Station to drop my friend. I was in a great hurry and my friend have heavy luggage there is need of me . When i reached to take platform ticket there is no one on the second floor inquiry counter a lot number of people had sorrounded the counter to by ticket or for inquiry and the start to make a uproar to get ticket but the police disburse the mob by starting beating and in other counter there is a long que and no one agree to take anyone even a platform ticket without que. Now i decided to drop him without Platform ticket and i do this, but when i return from platform on the entry gate One the Officer ask me for ticket and i haven't. They ask me to paid Rs.260 as a penalty when i requested to release me they threat me to persent me before Magistrate and i agree to go before magistrate (because i have small amount of money not in condition to paid penalty) but suddenely they started to chek my Pocket for money its look like that i'm being theft its totally like a robbery or theft and they got 200 in my shirt pocket ( Though in law an order i have break Law of not to take Platform Ticket but in a condition in which i was how can and from where we buy a platform Ticket in such as a arrangement[protected] if i have money I paid the full amount with Bill so that this amount is reach on govt account instead of to reach such an inferior, brazen shameless the corrupted officer Pocket.)

                                  Is There is no any law and order to check corruption that make obstacle in common man life
                                  Is there is no need of CCTV Camera on such place.
                                  If such a sensitive place like Railway station where public checking is going on it is must that there shoud be CCTV camera to watch on their activities .

                                  june 2010 .In patna Jn.not eassy to by local ticket ticket due to lack of booking counter after an hour many
                                  passenger decided to go without ticket .There are 18 booking counter but normally working only 10 counter

                                  I am serving military men and put up 28 years of service in Defence forces and since I joined service till date I have seen that whenever a militarymen who has been issued with a CV (conccession Voucher) from his unit, he has to give that at the booking counter and booking clerk book the ticket and charge the prescribed charges and make a journey ticket. He do not give you any piece of concession voucher. However, in the case of a free railway warrant issued to military person and when he booked a ticket he grt back a piece of token alongwith a journey ticket, which has to be kept alongwith journey ticket and to be produce to TTE whenever he comes for ticket checking. In my case I booked a ticket for my family and children on a CV from Navy Nagar, Colaba, Mumbai Railway reservation counter for journey on 10 Dec 10 by 0901 Rajdhani Spl train in 3AC and I was alotted berth 17, 18, 19 and 20 in B3 coach. The train departed mumbai CTL at 1945 hrs on 10 Dec 10. At around 2200 Hrs I got a call from my daughter and wife that TTE is harrassing them to produce a part of CV on which you booked the ticket otherwise pay the full amount of tickets, which is incorrect and shows that railway TTE are not trained properly for their duties and not clear about the documents. Here is the point is, will you please find out the gentlemen TTE and take necessary actions against him

                                  I am also raising this issue with railway grivencies cell and with the top railway authorities and with top railway authorities in Rail Bhavan Delhi.

Sir when i was going to home DBRG ASR 15933when we are reaches at DMV station cause of cancel that train dated on 25 jan 2011 because there are not any retiring room facility at furkating station then we are riches to DMV station time 900 hrs in morning and request to CTI Office please issue to 01 retiring room because my wife is ill she name is kiran badola that is passenger of that train when i checked all retiring room is blank but cti is not alloted me any room then after i meet to station Master he told me your boarding is FKG so We are very painful journey in my life

                                  Dear didi,
                                  The train from bangalore to kannyakumari... ie kannyakumari exp doesnt have a pantry though the travel time is around 22hours... god knows what your policy of having a pantry in a train. same is the case with bangalore to lucknow train also though the travel time is more than 40hours even this train does not have a pantry attached. Hope you rectify and improve the existing trains before introducing news trains and creating more and more mess and more inefficency.

                                  pl reduce the travelling time between bangalore and mysore... it takes more than 3 hours which is really a pain for daily up and down travellers for their job and also the shatabdi train from bangalore to mysore and from mysore to bangalore is not at all convinent and does not serve any purpose pl change the time so that more and more people travel conveniently.

                                  i want to complain about the rpf officrs of brhampur, odisha . day aftr yestrday i was there in there in the railway station to see off my father who is 60 yearts old he barely sees .at th tim of 10.55 hirakhand xpress came and i kept all my fathers bag in the s5 compartment and that time there was no light. me and my father were late to the compartment s5 .while i was laving off to my house an rpf constabl seen m comming out of s5 while the was in running condition. suddenly some on pulled the chain in s4 and the con stable took m doubting confidently on me.and took took me to rpf chowki and kept me in thr chowki for 3.oo clock nite.my father tried to talk with th police but the constabls ar not ready to talk. the sub inspctor mr pankaj kumar also bargaind me to give fine or els he gave warning for putting a case of sec 141 on me and i who was innoccent gav 3oo rupes and cam back home.so plsease i request dont try to harss general public.i was really embarassed of this kind of rpf who protct us and also loot us.

                                    I am Rovin Singh R/o of Dwaka, New Delhi. I am working in Tehsil Distt Gurgaon as a computer Operator under Haryana Government. I have a valid M.S.T Pass. On 3.11.04 I boarded in train No. 385 i.e. Kalandi Passenger Train (Delhi- Rewari) along with my six friends from Palam railway station. The above said train was fully packed with passengers. The two Guard Bogies were lying vacant (there was not even single guard in guard bogy) and door was opened. Being in hurry, we boarded in one of the vacant guard bogy. Train started moving. We reached at Gurgaon Railway station. There suddenly 4 to 5 RPF personnel caught us with our collar & used very obscene language called BIHARI BHAIYA also and carried out man handling saying that you are not authorized to travel in guard bogy. We requested them that if we are wrong kindly charge the penalty. But do not use obscene language. They did not pay any attention to our request and assaulted us & misbehaved with us. Latter they charged amount of Rs 400/- from each o[censored]s (i.e. Rs 2400).
                                    You are requested to taken disciplinary action against the faulty five RPF personnel who misbehaved & assaulted us.

                                    We requested them that if we are wrong kindly charge as pur rail rule.There suddenly coming to 2 RPF purson caught us with our collar or pushing hand in my face or kick me eigth & used very obscene rough language called MADARCHOD, HERO BANTHA HAI BIHARI SALA .golimardunga sala .I Complain TT he
                                    said why are interfare other purson problem.

                                    I have been caught by RPF at kalyan for crossing the road track even i showed them that i had an exma and i was late for that so i crossed the track but they did not listen to me and misbehaved with me and took 540/- rupees from me whereas on other days all people were crossing the roads they did not even bother to catch them

                                    I Shuvam Ghosh son of Sri Prasanta Kumar Ghosh residing at budge budge, kol - 700137. I am working as a Service Engineer at Gee Pee Infotech Pvt. Ltd.
                                    I travel in metro reguarly from Rabindra Sarobar to Jatin Das Park for my job. Today(30/04/2011) I entered in metro station at 8:50 AM for travel in metro.

                                    I saw my friend speaking with a metro staff for ticket punching problem at AFC gate.Suddenly a police came and caught his collar and spoke with slang language. Then we went to protest against the police. But the police speak very bad language with us & touch our body as like a thief.

                                    We all know that AFC gate in all metro station at kolkata is might problemetic.

                                    Why the AFC gate will not repairing ?
                                    Why the police use slang language with us?

                                    I requested u to take needful action against this type of RPF.

                                    I would like to raise a complaint against the RPF's in Thane railway station. They are threatening
                                    people who are new to mumbai with their guns and asking them to get money from their ATM accounts. Two of my friends where looted like this. Please take immediate action to stop this activity.

                                      I traveled with my family from Ahmedabad to New Delhi on 1st November by Ashram Express Coach B-1(3 AC) Seats 29/30/32 & 40.
                                      The passengers on Seat 25 was with 2 additional passengers (wait listed) & passenger on Seat 28 was with 1 additional passenger (wait listed).
                                      When I objected to Ticket checker about this over crowding, instead of asking Non-confirmed passengers to get down he ADVISED us to Adjust.This is ridiculous. On top of that the TC told us that passenger on Seat 25 are influential.
                                      Is this the way your railway staff behave.??

                                      Also note that the catering staff in Ashram is charging much higher than recommended rates for Tea & snacks. This you must bring under control.

                                      There is no charging point in 3AC coach of train no. 19657 Indore Udaipur Express.pl take into concern this matter as it creates menace.
