platform ticket amount collected more... why???

If passenger not taken platform ticket as for railway rules they have to take rs.250 why they are collecting more money??? Such a pethetic attitude from railway employees... It's in yashawanthpur railway station bangalore. We agree we are not taken platform ticket... Some time we are come for sending our freinds or relative. They are simply writing money and collecting money from public.....

        1. I have booked my house hold items (3 box, 1 pvc cartoon and 1 scooty) from indore to kantabanji on 16 dec 2018 through my train ticket as per the rule of railway.
        2. On 17 dec 2017 indore railway parcel office, luggage was loaded and unloaded at bhopal station. On my journey i have seen physically and also checked and found at platform no 1 on 17 dec 2018.
        3. But i received only my scooty on kantabanji station till date and not found my other items.
        4. I am suffering too much problem, due to not availability of my house hold items and family clothes. Therefore i request you to please resolve my problem.

          Dear sir,

          My pnr number is [protected], train no. 14512, doj - 16 december 2018, i got a message on 14 december 2018 from indian railways that "
          Trn 14512 source - sre on 16/12/2018 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances inconvenience caused is deeply regretted" so i tried to book a ticket for 15 dec. But on irctc booking portal train was showing cancelled on 15 dec & 16dec 2018. So i booked a ticket in tatkal for 17 december and not filled tdr since in case of train cancellation the refund is automatically credited back to the account. I waited for 7 days for the refund but when i haven't got then i emailed irctc, they responded that the train was not cancelled and tdr timing is over so can't claim the refund now.
          My ticket for 16 dec was of around 1300 rs for 2 persons and in tatkal it cost around 2300 rs for two persons and i couldn't get my 1300 back, it's a considerable loss to me.
          If i got a message of cancellation from indian railways and then on irctc portal it was also showing cancelled for 15 & 16 dec then how i would now that the train is not cancelled without any message from railways. Normally people will book another ticket and will wait for their refund since for cancellation no tdr is required.

          Kindly help me to get my money back.

          It's been more than 15 days and my complaint has not been addressed till now. Kindly let me know whom I have to contact to get my refund .

            I was travelling from chennai to mavelikara in trivandrum-madras mail (12623) and my return was via trivandrum chennai super fast express (12696) my journey was hectic due to the lack of proper toilet facilities in both the trains. There was no european (Western) toilet in either side of the coach in ac three tier.

            During my earlier travel experience, i have travelled in these train but these had european toilets. I assume the railway trains have been changed now.

            Being pregnant it was tough to manage in indian toilet. It is difficult for handicapped, elderly and pregnant ladies to travel without proper toilet facilities in passenger trains. Please do the needful.

              Submitted that i am a senior citizen and have booked railway ticket in lucknow swarn shatabadi (Train no. 12004) anubhooti class ea from new delhi to kanpur central for travel on 02.03.2019 & return on 04.03.2019 by same train no. 12003 vide pnr no.[protected] &[protected] respectively. These tickets were booked at faridabad reservation counter on 01.01.2019 at 10.30 am.

              The details of passengers is as under:
              1. Vinod kumar choudhary m 64 yrs.
              2. Poonam choudhary f 56 yrs.

              The amount charged from me is rs. 3760/- for journey on 02.03.2019 & rs. 3920/- for return journey on 04.03.2019.

              As per the fare chart available on railway website the maximum net fare payable for these two tickets is as under;
              1. Vinod kumar choudhary sr. Citizen 1175/-
              2. Poonma choudhary 1795/-
              Total 2970/-

              And for return journey the maximum net fare is as under
              1. Vinod kumar choudhary sr. Citizen 1255/-
              2. Poonam choudhary 1875/-
              Total 3130/-

              The total seats as shown in availability list were available at the time of booking.

              I am at loss to know as to how the fare has been calculated. At the face of it rs. 7680/- (3760+3920) have been charged from me instead of rs. 6100/- (2970+3130) as calculated above.

              I therefore request you to look into the matter and refund the excess amount charged at rs1580/ immediately.

                We lost a suitcase when travelling from secunderabad to yeshwantpur by durronto superfast express dated 1 jan 2019.
                We had kept the suitcase below the side lower berth of seat no 40 coach b5.

                  I have booked my bike (Yamaha fz s ; ka51er0358) through railways parcel service on 29th dec 2018. (Bill number [protected]) at howrah railway station. It was to send from howrah to angul, odisha

                  At the time on 29th, i booked the parcel at howrah and i was told that it will be sent immediately in the same train in which i had the bookings (Train no. 22803- hwh - sambalpur)

                  I reached angul and waited there for 3 days, as the vehicle did not reach angul even after 3 days i checked it today and found that it's current live status is not visible to me.

                  I have contacted howrah station, they are confirming of the dispatch and i am interrogating the same at angul, they are denying the coming of the parcel.
                  I am very worried about the bike as right now no live status is updated for the same.

                  Could you please check the status?
                  Help me out in solving my issue.

Recently konnagar to howrah grp collect money openly from janine passenger and harassment to common pupil to allegation of entered vendor bogy.. Last 2 month it reach extreme limit, they work as a pocket mar without t. T…
                    At 27th december i took at 6.45pm sharafully – howrah train from rishra…for that i took last medinipur local from howrah at 8.15pm…
                    At rhisrah that train was very rush and i carry a 30 kg big bag, for that reason it is difficult to enter to general bogy for that i mistakenly entered at vacant vendor bogy… at bally station enter 9 to 10 grp without t. T and treat me and other 9 passenger as a criminal and continuous abuse us but we have all janine ticket but no vendor ticket…we do not know vendor body enter want vendor ticket (Last 10 year i was daley passenger at 2004 to 2014 but i do not heard that), all passage go to long distance and 2 people took bivuti express at 8 pm howrah with them…they forcefully arrests those 9 people but left 1 to he knows someone at railway call him and clear his allegation..
                    They left train at belure with those 9 people.. All miss this emu …all arrested people request them that “next time do not make that type of mistake”…all request them our train left from howrah.. They tell me “go with them there grp office from that platfrom, there officer talk something about that and left us within 15 minute …but they make us foolish they force our to walk 1km from platform with heavy luggage and after enter there office at that cold night, at their office wait extra 5 grp all was drank and after enter they close all the gate and after some time they want us fine for enter vendor rs-1200 after denial 2 rpf beat us and forcedly collect me and other 2 bivuti passanger rs-350 with cut a false signature chillan…we give it for our last train left from howrah and if we do not give them that money they make horror our mind to get arrest and produced to court…after watching that false chillan 1 grp close that gate and 3 person risqué paid rs-350 per person…we do not know what happened other 6 poor pupil …i enter at howrah from balure grp office at 8.45 pm my train gone …that night i stay at howrah this winter very cold and took 4 am train to medinipur…who responsible for that?
                    It is true “i do not enter vendor bogy without vendor ticket’’? If it is true then forget that issue…

                      I booked train ticket through irctc mobile aap on 13november.. My pnr number is [protected]. I have cancelled ticket on 21 st december. Till now my refund amount not credited in my account. I have mailed irctc care also. I have nothing received any satisfactory explanation. How can i get my money back? What can i do? May i get any help from consumer protection service of indian railways?

                        Sir we have booked 7 tickets from rameswaram to kanyakumari and our PNR NO.[protected] and [protected] but due to the maintainance of pamban bridge rameswararm, our tickets had been cancelled from rameswaram to madurai due to which we had to suffer loss of amount of tickets and extra cost of van to reach madurai railway station-2130+355+6000.
                        Kindly refund the requisite amount as soon as possible in order to make compensate our losses.br...

                        On 18th october i had received an sms from irctc that my train got cancelled. Following are the details
                        1. Pnr no. [protected]. Train no. 22318, humsafar sf. Booking date 14th july. From saharanpur (Sre) 24th october to sealdah (Sdah) 25th october. Transaction id [protected]. Canara bank. Amount 2225/-.
                        2. Pnr no. [protected]. Train no. 22318, humsafar sf. Booking date 14th july. From saharanpur (Sre) 24th october to sealdah (Sdah) 25th october. Transaction id [protected]. Canara bank. Amount 6150/-.
                        The cancellation sms i received on 18/10/2018. Ear sir,
                        I got the sms on 18th october saying train no 22318 has been cancelled for 24/10/18 where i had 4 tickets. But till date i didn't get the refund amount. Please clarify the matter and oblige.
                        As i was traveling at that time and there were no network connection i couldn't file tdr within 72 hours.
                        I hope the matter will be solved at your earliest convenience.

                          I'm travelling from rewari to karnal via chetak express (12982) from rewari to delhi saray rohilla (Time 3:35am to 5:05am and then via himalayan queen (14095) from delhi saray rohilla to karnal (Time 5:35am to 8:30am but when chetak late 10-15min. Then another train 12481 which time at rewari 3:52am and 12982 which is reached from 3:40 to 3:50am.
                          There is no announcement at their which one go first. Some time 12982 will go and some time 12481will go.
                          On date 21dec.18 chetak express 12982 reached at rewari at 3:45 am and departure on approx 5am. No any announcements when it will go.
                          Due to this i will not reached at karnal where i left my important exam.
                          So, please do proper announcement so that passenger reached at their station on time.

                          Please take proper action.
                          I hope this issue is resolved.

                            Why do we have to pay cancellation charges as rs.60.00 for tickets automatically cancelled being waitlisted after chart will be prepared? It's a cheating. Government should look into it and take proper action. They writing 43% of our ticket money has been paid by taxpayers. What about millions of waitlisted tickets getting cancelled automatically and ir getting 60 rupees each? Please reply.

                              Complaint against railway reservation booking clerk of phagwara railway station
                              On not paying bribe the reservation clerk bifurcated the seats of husband-wife passangers; unnnecessarily harassed by not complying with the rules framed by indian railways. The booking clerk has not worne railway dress and there is no name plate at reservation counter to display the identity of the reservation clerk. The display screen of amount of reserved tickets has been removed by the corrupt reservation counter clerks. On my request whether i should approach to the station superintendent regarding it the said reservation counter clerk said that whether gian has been appointed d. C. (Deputy commissioner) upon me. I shall not give you the adjoining seats, do whatever you like to do. He said that the reservation requistion slip i go to ludhiana to purchase so he refused to give more than one reservation reequisition slip to one person. He said there is everybody involved in getting ransom (Bribe). If anybody will point one finger on me four fingers will turn to his side. So you can go and complaint against me where-ever you like. Every official has hands in gloves. The same reservation clerk charge huge money from the passangers those book circular tickets and bundle of requision forms are submitted. Insist the passangers of tatkal booking to give me money and i shall book your tatkal ticket on opening of tatkal booking. The circular tickets and tatkal bookings and money in addition to the booking amount is being collected by said reservation clerk. On asking his name from co-passangers it was told that every body call him ganja. But could not trace the name of that reservation clerk.

                              Under the rules framed by indian railways, i rajneesh madhok, m.com, ll. B, dfs, ll. M, advocate, legal and forensic investigator, resident of b-xxx/63, nehru nagar, railway road, phagwara, i hereby give you notice as follows:
                              1. I on[protected] submitted two requisition forms for journey and return journey for delhi and back from delhi alongwith my wife alpana madhok and your reservation counter official misbehaved with me and used abusive language against me and not paying bribe to him.
                              2. Due to the misbehaviour and not forming rules framed by indian railways your staff threaten and use abusive language against the customers.
                              3. Due to the highhandedness of the reservation clerk at phagwara railway station i ghave to undergo physical and mental suffering for the negligence, cerelessness and mistakes by not adopting the rules framed by indian railways the details of rules are appended hereunder.
                              I submitted two requisition forms for reservation at phagwara railway station at 12:49 hours and on not paying the bribe for reservation of two tickets in adjoining seats of husband-wife the corrupt reservation counter clerk of phagwara misbehaved with the passanger and forced him to come again in the queue from the last against the rules framed by railways. But the corrupt reservation booking clerk who has been getting the reservations of the passengers by adopting unfair means and collecting from every passenger who had been booking tickets at the railway reservation counter forced me to come again for submission of the second reservation form.
                              I requested him not to insist me to submit the requisition form to come again in the queue because the return journey of both the passengers from delhi is same and as per rule if onward/return journey are involved, 2 or 3 forms can be accepted for the same passengers.
                              When i refused to provide extra money to the said reservation clerk he insisted me to come again in a queue and bifurcated the seat numbers that should be allotted to husband-wife passengers who are planning to make return journey in the adjoining seats. As i failed to pay bribe to the reservation clerk at reservation counter he intentionally harassed the customer and misbehaved with me.

                              The general conditions are reproduced here for kind information of the official concerned. General conditions :
                              The railway administration reserves seats, berths, compartments, or carriage in accordance with the rules and conditions published in the coaching tariff. A passenger seeking reservation of berth or seats should purchase tickets from the railway reservation offices/authorised travel agency only.
                              Advance reservations are made generally up to 90 days in advance for all classes and all trains. The period of advance reservation (Arp) is exclusive of the day of departure of the train.
                              At intermediate stations where the train arrives on the following day, such reservations can be done more than 90 days in advance of date of journey from the intermediate station. Arp is in relation to the date of journey from train originating station.in case of some inter-city day trains, the arp is less
                              An individual can book only up to six passengers on one requisition form provided all passengers are for the same destination and for the same train.
                              Only one requisition form is accepted from a person at one time. However, if onward/return journey are involved, 2 or 3 forms can be accepted for the same passengers.
                              Indecent behaviour
                              1. On asking the reservation clerk that why not the requision slip can be submitted by husband for return journey with wife, he said go and ask to the drm (Divisional railway manager) he will provide the reply to this question to you.
                              2. Why not the reservation counter clerk wearing his badge.
                              3. Why the display screen of amount of ticket is not visible for customers
                              4. When asked that why you not accommodate the passangers genuine demand of getting adjoining seats he said that i am paying charges for requisition slips to booking made at the counter to the higher officials and that amount is more than rs 2, 000 per day.
                              5. On asking his name he said “ab tumhari seat book ho gayi hai, agar alag seat tum husband-wife ki book hui hai to is mein kuch extra charges lagte hain, tum to sab kuch free mein chahte ho, bola na tumko rules ke bare mein, dekh lo requisition slip pe print hue hain ki ek vyakti se ek hi requisition form liya jayega, agar saath mein seat book karwane ka itna hi shouk hai to sewa paani bhi karni padti hai. Mera naam pooch ke kya karoge. Jaao time ke hisab se complaint kar do meri mera koi kuch nahin bigad sakta”
                              6. I am surprised at the indecent approach of reservation booking clerk who is not complying with the rules framed by the railways department. I am quoting his abusive language, that when i said sir, i am also an advocate and the rules are also known to me. He said “sale tu kaun hota hai mujhe kanoon sikhane wala, ki main kyon na tumhe ek saath seat allot karun, chup chap chala ja yahan se nahin to rpf call kar lunga.
                              7. I still persisted and objected his derogatory behaviour. This infuriated him and the way he reacted i am ashamed of to quote his indecent language which he as railway officer should not use. “bhonsdiwale ek baar bola na ki nahin milegi ikkathi seat tum husband-wife ko, chup chap chala ja nahin to maar khayega, and folded his fist in front of me. I aslo running out of patience and said badatmiji se baat mat kar. Then he called bad names to me. As the co-passangers were also getting late and they insisted that he will not accommodate request without paying money to him.
                              8. That this incident had been witnessed by the entire individuals but the chief booking clerk who was sitting at the corner window has not come to know the reason of dispute.
                              9. This is a humiliating incidence. I am so upset by the behaviour of the reservation counter clerk that even the memory of the incidence creates shivering sensation in my body.
                              10. In view of the above i request you to take stringent action possible within legal purview so that it should be a lesson for this corrupt and indecent reservation counter clerk and also example for all the other corrupt employees of the department who behave similar to him. Before deciding any punishment following points should also be noted:
                              A. The said reservation clerk accepted more than one requisition forms from the passengers those were in queue.
                              B. The reservation counter clerk is not wearing badge.
                              C. There is no display screen at the reservation counter.
                              D. The said reservation clerk abused me in full public, which is one of the most humiliating moments of my life.
                              11. I hope the railway authority will take appropriate action as per its reputation and set new example for its drive against corruption.
                              That as it is deficiency in service at the end of your staff so the complaint will file a suit in appropriate court for the claim and damages for physical and mental suffering, i hereby give you notice that if the genuine demand of adjoining ticket as per rules has not been provided to the complainant then a suit for recovery for damages and expenses incurred by me will be filed against you and you will be legally bound for the damages and expenses incurred by me at your entire risk as to cost and consequences.

                                Dear authorities,

                                I would like to bring to your attention the unbearable noise that trains produce while passing through Sirsi road to Kanakapura, Jaipur at midnight from 12:00 am to 6:00 am. They constantly and repeatedly blow their horns totally unnecessary which clearly surpass the decibel level observed to maintain a good health & disrupt sleep. This is creating uncalled for stress levels in the community and it's a health hazard for senior citizens as well as children .Atleast if you have a rule not to blow unnecessary horns from 12:00 to 6:00am, please strictly follow them.

                                It’s a sencere request to railways authorities to please instruct the drivers to stop this insanity atleast at midnight from 12:00 am to 06:00am.

                                  This message is for complaining against the services against baran railway station (Baz),
                                  This is to inform you that at the baran railway station there is need of "coach indicator boards", which will help the handicapped persons and many other cancer patients and senior citizens for justify the train's coach number when train arrives to the railway station, because its very difficult to the senior citizens to run for their owned and booked coaches.
                                  So,
                                  This is request to indian railway board that kindly do need full for the same.
