I was having a flight from delhi to kathmandu on 8th ocotber, 2018. Somehow i forgot my passport at my home (Ahmedabad), but i had aadhar card and license issued by indian govt. I was not allowed to board the flight, i even i got a letter from indian embassy asking airlines to allow the immigration, it was rejected. I didn't get the refund, also i have return ticket on 14th october, 2018. I want the refund of it. But when i apply for cancellation, they are refunding me zero rupees. I made all possible attempts, still i din get on board and not getting the refund. My pnr : mer4pj

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Please be informed that only Voter ID card or Passport is accepted to travel to Nepal. We understand your plans can change and just so we have a cancellation/rescheduling policy to take care of it. Cancellation can be done no later than 2 hours before the scheduled departure time with a charge of INR 3, 000 per passenger per flight and the balance will be refunded to the agency account which is used for making the reservation. Further, we would like to inform you that the applicable charges are designed to facilitate unusual circumstances as well. We sincerely hope that you will see this matter in the right spirit.

We would like to mention that in an event wherein a flight delayed by 2 hr or more, we allow our passenger to choose a refund or re-booking onto an alternative IndiGo flight at no additional cost. Adhering to the same, you have opted for an alternate flight. Hence, we won’t be able to process any refund as you duly travelled to your destination.
