This incident done on dated 04.07.2018. My journey with daughter(AirLine PNR XJUDMH Ticket No.XJUDMH/1/1 & XJUDMH/2/1), from Kozhikode to Delhi via Mumbai(Flight No.6E-5448 & 6E-956), on arrival in Delhi airport, I got my Suitcase very poorly damaged condition! Cut mark and oil stains throughout on Suitcase!, but fortunately all carrying goods are in good condition from the same. some of images attached herewith.
I would like to claim payment or for a new Suitcase. So you are kindly requested to please take necessary actions urgently.

We had reached in Delhi at night and some hurry to reach at home because of my daughter's exam going on that days and next day(05.07.2018 also one of exam scheduled). You can do must check/scan your recorded scan & cctv images, etc, from
boarding(Kozhikode) to exit(Delhi).

    Hi indigo,

    This is passenger Prateek Sharma with pnr ZGDMWG from Pune to Delhi. Barcode for baggage is [protected].
    I want to log complain regarding bag mishandling that happens frequently while travelling with indigo.

    I am travelling from Pune to Jaipur and now made a habit of checking my bag every time before leaving airport as my bag is mishandled a lot of times.

    This time it was no different. My new bag was again torned at 2 different places. Last time it happened when I travelled from Pune to Jaipur. Probably I will be changing my preference from indigo to other airline as such mis handlings are not treated as per customer exp and customer has to pay for repairs all time.

    Since I have my onward journey to other place with different airline it will be very difficult that to travel with this bag as the cut will now be expanded due to their there sensitivity.

    As told by executive at airport, it is normal wear and tear
    I need definition for normal wear and tear. Every you cannot skip by saying a single reply.

    Also I need reason why it is happening with indigo only and specifically from Pune to other location.

    Email shared by CSR on airport was wrong [I asked her to write email id on my phone notes but there was spelling mistake]. While I am trying to send it on correct email [correct spelling], it is giving message of Inbox full.

    Hoping one last time that you will take some action this time.

      I have applied for the ticketing job in indigo airlines through quicker.A lady [protected]in true caller showing vivek room New.she connected call with another lady and asked to pay for telephonic interview 2600 and I have paid for it.then she told to pay 6500 for document verification and that also I paid now she is asking me15000 for opening salary account.H ow it is possible to open the salary account without any appointment letter from the company.I belongs to the very poor background.So please I need clarifications

      As I make a complaint justnow I have paid for the interview for indigo airlines through the account no I attached as screenshot from the message received from her.please provide the job if I am eligible or else refund my amount 2500+6500.As she (get a call for interview)already told me the money will be refund to you if the job is not provided.I am not interested to pay further 15000 as they asked for salary account without any appointment letter.so please refund my amount.

        I needed a travel certificate for a reimbursement purpose. So I paid the 200 rupees for issuing the travel certificate through my debit card from the Indigo website. But despite paying the 200, I did not receive a travel certificate to my email address.

          I am extremely disgusted regarding the cabin luggage policy of indigo. I was travelling from Kolkata to Raipur by Indigo flight 6E245 on 3Oth May which was scheduled at 6:35 a.m. At the check in counter I WAS INTERRUPTED; I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO CARRY A CABIN LUGGAGE INSIDE AS I HAVE ALWAYS DONE WHILE TRAVELLING IN INDIGO FLIGHTS AND WAS FORCED TO PUT IT IN THE CHECK IN LUGGAGE. As a result, I had a luggage excess of 8 kgs and had to pay 2400/- at the check in counter. I was told that I will not be allowed to carry this luggage inside as it was too big for the size of a cabin luggage. I am a regular customer of Indigo and I am well aware of the the size of luggage which I am allowed to carry. However, this incident has left me totally irritated. I am not being able to understand why does Indigo not have strict rules about cabin luggage except for the weight allowance of 7 kgs? If Indigo has so much problem, why don't they actually mention the size of the luggage we are allowed to carry?? I am sorry to say it was a very wrong gesture on the part of the Indigo executive and I must say I'll think twice in the future to choose Indigo as my airline of choice.

As per the Conditions of Carriage, the cabin baggage of 7 kg per person with a maximum size of length 55cm, width 35cm and height 25cm respectively is allowed and the same information is reflecting in the itinerary sent to the registered mail i.d. Based on our records, your cabin baggage exceeds the permissible size and weight was 9 kg. Hence, our staff has charged for 8 kg of excess check-in baggage at the rate of INR 400 per kilogram. Please be rest assured that we try our best to assist our passengers in the best possible manner.

            The day was 6th June had to catch my flight from bagdora to Kolkata at 12:15 and boarding time was 11:30am then, had to travel to Bangalore via flight 6E 994.It took me 6hrs from home to bagdora airport.I arrived airport outside check point at 11:25 then, reached the scanning and weigh check between 11:30-11:35 by checking the displayed screen which showed boarding from bagdora to Kolkata 6E 958.I tried to place my bags for scanning and weigh check then, suddenly a lady at counter next to the my checking point where the boarding check for her was displaying bagdora to dehli.She urged rudely not to place my bags for scanning and weigh check.I tried to convince her saying that i need to scan and weigh my bags quick then, she got more rude and told me to wait till 12:00 for scanning.It was just second time I was traveling by flight so got nervous and waited till 12:00 but at that time the boarding 6E 958 was not displaying on any screen, so I enquired the same counter but the lady there got changed.She told me that I was late and missed my flight.I got shocked and cried at her.She told that there was another lady who misinfomed me who seemed to be hiding in buying ticket department.She also told that her friend assumed irresponsibly that my flight was at 3:00 pm asking for excuses.Then, I went to another department where the lady who misinfomed me was present.I told her that I was misinfomed but she was asking for excuses saying that I was few minutes late.I don't know whether few minutes late to boarding means missing my flight.It was urgent for me to reach Bangalore at the very moment so, I took another flight(6E 6132) from bagdora to Kolkata and flight(6E 875) form Kolkata to Bangalore paying 10, 400 approx .Even after paying the cash the same lady didn't return the change cash saying that she got no change.I hope that indigo airlines can convince me and take sufficient measures so that another person traveling will not face such Problems.

            We have investigated the concern and would like to summarize our findings. You were booked to travel Bagdogra to Bengaluru, which was scheduled to depart at 12:15 hrs on 06th July 2018. As per our policy, check-in counter closes 45 mins prior to the scheduled departure time. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. In fact, they try to accommodate passengers who report marginally late. As checked, you reported at 12:07 hrs to our counter. Since our check-in counter was already closed, our staff was unable to accept you for the same flight.
            Further, our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help you to reach the destination, our airport team offered you to accommodate on the next available flight subject to payment of applicable charges, which were accepted by you and at the same time while the payment was done, the balance amount of INR 72 was refunded by our staff. We thank you for taking out time to share your concerns and we assure you of our best services at all times.

Also, we understand you would want to verify our findings by checking the CCTV footage, however we would like to appraise to you CCTV belongs to airport/relevant security agencies and is not our preview. The usage is primarily for checking on the safety and security aspects of the airport and passengers. We regret we will not be able to get the CCTV footage.

            Please check your CC TV cameras footage to know about the 1st time I reported at the counter which was between 11:30-11:35.If audio are audible then you can even hear the height of rudeness presented by the lady.Initially, during my first reporting i was misinformed and was told to wait.The time that you mentioned that is 12:07 was the second instance of my reporting.At 12:07 I just went to ask at the counter if the flight was late and at that moment, I knew that I was already misinformed leading me to miss my flight.If you are unaware of the footage i can help you check in through the entire footage which can take a little time.

              voucher not working

              Hi Team,

              I had bought some Premium Pack voucher from Indigo in last December the coupon is having one year of validity but I tried to apply to coupon to many time but it's not working.

              I need my money back. Indigo cheated me last time also they said the voucher is for a year but actual validity was 6 months. A very bad trick to get money.

              Waiting for my refund.

              I had booked my flight from Nagpur to Bangalore. But due to Torrential rainfall here at Nagpur, all the roads were blocked, and even the main Street leading to airport was completely understand water. One I digital flight was even diverted to Hyderabad airport due to these rains. But for my flight Indigo didn't even consider rescheduling the flight. We tried a lot but couldn't make it to the airport as police didn't allow us to go any further. How was I supposed to reach the airport? I have been trying to call Indigo for the past hour and no one's responding. This is a very genuine case and I hope you'll look into this and either provide me a new ticket for tomorrow or refund my money ASAP.

                I reached Delhi IGI Airport at 9:40 for my flight to mumbai which was scheduled for 10:25 but the boarding pass counter told me that the counter is closed. And I just have a hand bag with me. Is this the way Indigo treat their customers to just earn some more money. Because of you I had to pay Rs 4426/- at 10:00 to reschedule my flight. The gates were even not closed. Pathetic environment shown by IndiGo Airlines. This is what they are reflecting on the customers- "negative marketing" . And you guys give importance to profits rather to wealth. You can't stay in this Market for that long.

                We understand your concern. As per our findings, you were booked to travel in flight 6E 155 from Delhi to Mumbai, which was scheduled to depart at 22:25 hrs on 5th July 2018. As per our policy, check-in counter closes 45 mins prior and boarding gate closes 25 mins prior to the scheduled departure time. Also, passengers carrying the printout of boarding passes through web check-in may report at the board gates without check-in baggage. Based on our records, you reported after the counter closure. Hence, our staff was unable to accept you for the flight.
                Further, our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times. We'd like to clarify that re-accommodation is not followed as a policy, but with the intention to help our customers to reach the destination, our airport team offered you to accommodate on the next available flight subject to payment of applicable charges, which were accepted by you. We request for your understanding in this regard

                  I had booking on 29th of june in indigo flight no. 6e509 indigo (06:05 in morning), and as rules say check in before 45 mins prior of departure, i was at check in counter and yet 45 mins weren't over (At airport it was huge rush, and it took me around 20 mins to in line itself to get me into airport then i was standing in check in line and took another 5-7 mins and yet there was still 5 mins and exactly 05:12 i was standing on check in counter and as rules provided by airline there was still time to cover my check in) and their staff denied check in and said, flight is boarding. And there was 7-8 people also there who had same issue, and there manager and supervisor to left spot so we couldn't questioned them and their staff send us to reservation counter saying that they could solve our problems and at reservation counter their personnel said you should had talk to check in counter itself to solve this issue, now i cannot do anything and you have to pay extra charges to board next flight and these extra charges were more than my ticket values itself, i registered complain regarding this issue to airline complaint forum too, but no conclusion provided by them yet.

We would like to inform you that in case of a rush at counter our team tries to expedite the procedure. However, it is pertinent to note that reporting on-time is the passenger's sole responsibility. Also, we advise our passengers to reach the airport 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure to avoid any last min hassle. Since, our counters were already closed at the time of your reporting hence, our staff was unable to accept you for the flight.                     I, sk alfaz firdous, son of m. A. M firdous, resident of 5/2 abdul halim lane, kolkata 700016, would like to bring to your kind notice that i had booked a flight ticket from hyderabad to kolkata, flight number being 6e539 and pnr number being kef4mj. The flight was about to depart at 10.15 pm on 3rd july, 2018. Due to heavy traffic i managed to reach hyderabad airport by 9.45 pm. I requested the staff of indigo viz. Richard to allow me to check in. He not only denied my request but also intimidated me that he would not help me out for booking the next immediate flight to kolkata. Without arguing with him, i insisted him to book the next flight for me and accordingly he booked flight number 6e353 which is about to depart at 5.55 am today i. E. On 4th july, 2018 from hyderabad to kolkata.
                    I would like to state here that i am deeply disheartened by the conduct of the above named person. I am a frequent traveller of indigo and i am quite shocked by his behaviour.
                    I would like to know from you as to why i was not given accommodation in the flight though 30 mins was left for the flight's take off. I would also want to know as to what steps will be taken against richard for misbehaving with me and intimidating me in the airport.
                    Lastly, i state here that i want compensation for the loss which i have suffered due to this incident.

                    I lost one of four boarding ticket which is required to submit in my office .I purchased four ticket on one booking referance no. What the procedure to obtain travel certificate for one person.

                      Dear Officer In charge,
                      I was supposed to travel in flight 6E-51 on 2nd July, timing 05.20am from Chennai (MAA) to Singapore (SIN) due to poor communication from your customer service staffs I won't able to travel on that flight. Let me elaborate exactly what happened on that day. I have finished my check-In by around 3.50am, then I was waiting in the immigration queue and cleared the immigration by 4.37am and security check by 4.45am. At this point, I still have 10 more mins to reach the gate if the gate has been closed 25mins prior to departure. Actually, I had reached to the waiting hall at 4.50am. Without proper announcement they have changed the gate from 11 to 12. I was totally not aware of it. At around 5.00am when I enquired 3 customer service officer who is resting in the chair near Gate 11, they explained that the Gate has been changed from No.11 to No 12 and now it has been closed. When I asked them why you haven't give proper mike announcement? Mr Vivek Customer service manager says that it is not their duty. I was stunned by his reply. And I go on to ask him that you may aware that I was finished check in, boarding pass and going to flight in 6E-51 then why you haven't search for me in the waiting hall? He said that it is not in-practise in Indigo airlines, which is not a true statement. I am frequent flyer from Singapore to Chennai, many times I have travelled in Indigo airlines. In past, Indigo customer service officers will be very kind and make sure all the passengers who has done their check-in has been boarded. If they came to know that any passenger is not boarded yet, they will search for that particular passengers and alert them, which is not happened on that day. Mr Vivek convinced me that they will book in next Indigo Airlines flight 6E 53 to Singapore which is scheduled at 21.55hrs departure with minimum additional fare price. Since I have no choice, I agreed to go in next flight. In the ticket counter, they charged me Rs.9648 which is more than the actual flight ticket cost of Rs.8961.14 which I have booked for the flight 6E-51 on 2nd July, 05.20hrs. I am totally fed up the way the customer service staff acted to situation especially Mr. Vivek. He don't understand the pain of Customers despite he is very rude to me. My personal thought on this issue is at any cause the passenger who had cleared the security check 35mins prior to the flight departure should not miss the flight because of the reason that the gate has been closed. If customer service officer fails to satisfy the customers then really I don't know what the meaning of Customer Service. Hope you will understand the situation and customer views. I like to highlight I am not the only one passenger who missed the flight, there are totally 4 passengers who missed the flight 6E 51 on 2nd July, 0520hrs because of poor communication from your customer service officers. Appreciate if you have taken action against this customer service team and give compensation for the passengers who had missed the flight because of above mentioned reason. For your reference, I have attached copy of my cancelled boarding pass, tax invoice of both the flights.

                      Just with 5 mins to boarding pass gates closes and not given the boarding pass for check in and i requested them bu divine,
                      Any how flight at 8:35am gates closes at 7:55am

                      flight missed and they arranged next flight after 3 hours by charging 1000 rupees .

                          I booked to go from Qatar to Chennai on 2-Jul-2018 by Indigo International flight service.

                          We got our bags checked in and got the boarding pass an hour before the flight time but, unfortunately in the Qatar Immigration queue we were delayed around 25 minutes due to system jam...+ the walking time from immigration to the gate along with our children (aged - 8 & 14) took us almost near to the flight start time.

                          We were confident that since we boarded, they shall keep the gate left open for all the passengers to alight (Which is the reality with all the flight service throughout the world ) But, ...to our shock when we landed the gate they denied us getting on to the flight.
                          Even after explaining the reason for our delay, the customer co-ordinator from Indigo was so rude and was keep on questioning on how come a person who checked in after us got boarded earlier than us.

                          She should understand as a single man can pass the immigration queue faster than those who travel with family. Further, in Immigration, we go to different official in different queue which all o[censored]s know of. Even after explaining she was so arrogant and rude about us not boarding the flight.

                          We being educated were able to explain and was fighting for justice to get on to the flight. But, there were 2 more passengers along with us who could'nt converse in English was pleading and begging them.

                          They did not respond politely at all even to them.

                          Is this the service being trained to the Indigo staffs?

                          Ashamed to choose Indigo as our travel option. We staying abroad was trying to patronize Indian company but, they showed their true colours.
                          It was an absolute brutal act to just walk away when the passenger is pleading for help to reach their destination.
                          It is not a railway or roadway where we have all the option to choose other mode of transport and reach our destination.
                          Many may travel with all their days planned and each day is precious for people like us who travel home for vacation.

                          Being an middle aged person, we were running to the core and walking all over the airport to get our baggage back. I can't imagine the same scenario with aged passengers.

                          A customer service is fulfilled only if the organisation is able to attend to all the customer's needs.

                          Mahatma Gandhiji's Quotes on customer service:
                          "A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so."

                          I have been travelling for the past 18 years atleast 5 times in a year and have not experienced such a bad treatment ever in my life through any flight services (inclusive budget airlines).

                          Apart from the physical pain and mental harassment, I almost lost INR 80, 000 as I cancelled by return tickets booked with Indigo.
                          I will hesitate to use anymore Indigo flight service in my life.

                          My question is, if you know that the passenger is late in the bag check in itself. why you allow him to check in at that point itself? Should you not stop them from checking in if they are late.

Also, we do not call up passengers upon their contact number, however, our team went beyond their prescribed call of duty and tried contacting you on the registered mobile number, which was not answered. Further, our team waited for you till 13:48 hrs at the gate. Based our records, you reported at 13:51. Since our boarding gates were closed for the flight our staff was unable to accept you for the flight.

                          Hello Indigo Team,

                          With regards to the above reply from Indigo, please note that we did not receive any call to our mobile as mentioned in their reply.
                          Further, should the airlines understand what went wrong.
                          Our delay was due to system jam in the immigration department where we have records to show that we got out of the immigration at 13:46 and definitely it takes atleast 5 minutes for us to reach the boarding gate considering we had a child who is less than 10 yr old, who was also running along with us.

                          The staffs in the counter were not willing to verify also on what account we were delayed and their response was absolutely unprofessional and the lady incharge, rudely walked away from the boarding gate simply saying that we were late.

                          This was a very much disappointing experience in our 25 years of flying all over the world using various airlines and Indigo is the worst of all.

                          It is a shame to say that you assisted us in the right spirit & best possible manner.

                            I've booked flight ticket for 6e-2895 for which the transaction was successful and i received a text message saying i would be intimated further regarding the booking in 15mins for which i neither got an email nor a message. When i called the customer support for further assistance the lady there was very rude to me stating that the booking got cancelled while the money was being refunded. I wasn't intimated untill i myself called the customer service.

                              I was travelling through Indigo Airlines 6E 187 at 3.10 hours by afternoon, dated 26th june 2018 from Guwahati to Hyderabad.Due to bad weather conditions and heavy shower at Guwahati Airport, the flight got delayed by an hour which I do understand.
                              After arrival at Hyderabad, collected my luggage and left the airport. To my utter surprise when I opened my luggage I found all my clothes in spoilt conditions and totally wet. None of the clothes were in a condition to be worn.I was totally in a mess because of the mismanagement done at your end regarding the luggage placement. I had to bear extra expenses for all my clothing which was frustrating and very expensive and it was quite late at night (11.00 p.m).
                              I do feel that, because of this distressing experience I am entitled to compensation, especially when your company had a contractual obligation to transfer my luggage in good condition.

                              Also ones Indigo airlines had also given me trouble by selling my pre booked seat to some other passengers.
                              when inquired, informed that on basis of medical ground it was given to some other passengers
                              .
                              How does it is possible to sell my pre-booked seats to someone without informing me.

                              When I spoke to some senior officials of Indigo Airlines, they apologize & assured me to provide special services and not to complain. I also agreed as I had an emergency.

                              But this is the second time that Indigo Airlines has given me such type of pains.

                              I therefore request you to take some urgent step and to give “justice to the customer who has taken you to this position”.

                              I am late in writing this letter to you as I went to Hyderabad for some treatment purpose along with my family.also the email provided in the Indigo website for customer care was not working.which took extra time.

                              Your attention to this matter will be highly appreciable.

                                Hi,

                                On 21st June I traveled to Delhi from Pune(PNR - DF7ZJT) with you in flight number 6E-672.
                                By mistake I forgot my wallet when I descended from the plane.
                                Then I contacted customer support on the airport and they sent the check staff to get the wallet.
                                They found it but INR 1000 were missing from my wallet. Last evening only I withdrew INR 1600 and got INR 600 back in my wallet.
                                Such services are not expected from Indigo. I would like to raise a service request and want you to look deeper into this. I still have got the receipt SMS that I had withdrawn INR 1600 from the ATM.
                                It wasn't a good experience; I think that was a penalty I have paid for forgetting my wallet inside. Let me know if you could check into this and provide some positive solution.

                                    From goa to dehradun was missed because of your fake show
                                    I was only 10 minutes late due to puncture and rain whole 35 minutes wr left and the crew didn't allow me to check in by saying this "we are very sorry because our doors has been closed we cant permit u to check in"
                                    Iam a frequent flyer i know very well about the rules
                                    My whole money got destroyed because of you guys

                                    And after this i have booked another flight was of 13:00 hrs
                                    And boarding was started at 12:45 pm
                                    Why is it so and doors has been closed on 13:05

                                    We understand your concern and as per our findings, you reported at 07:47 hours to the counter for a flight scheduled to depart at 08:15 hours. As per our policy, check-in counter closes 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. Since our check-in counter was already closed, our staff was unable to accept you for the same flight. Also, we wish to mention that boarding for flight 6E 252 was started at the scheduled time. We request for your understanding in this regard.

                                      Dear sir/madam,

                                      I would like to state you that i was denied to board flight 6e 571 on 1 july 2018 to guwahati from maa. I am a student and the indigo have given me 'no show' status and denied to refund me through yatra bookings. I was denied my flight because i had skin infection although i was fit to board the flight as i had been well diagnosed medically and had the medical discharge proofs. Still i was not allowed to pass through and denied and denied too of the refund. I am a student and i was expecting my money. Also, i lost 6-7 valuable hours at the airport. I had a terrible experience with indigo and have decided to never again book any flights with indigo airlines. The hostess at the last gate won't listen to my causes and verify my medical documents and directly ordered a 'off-load' command to the online system. It was a behaviour i wasn't expecting from the hostess or the airlines.
