We would like to inform you that cancellation policy is designed in a way so as to give our customers the freedom to cancel their travel plans according to their own convenience, exigencies can occur at any point of time. Therefore, we allow our passengers the flexibility to cancel or reschedule a reservation up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. However, we have processed the full refund for the booking purely as customer service gesture. Kindly get in touch with the respective travel agency used while making the booking to claim the refund.

    Pnr :xeni5j travelling from guwahati to bangalore. I was charged rs 400 extra for carrying excess luggage when i had already booked my flight under student id. I expect that to be refunded. The service at the desk wasnt proper. The reciept no. Goes as 1670462. As i am a regular flyer i wish a prompt response in order to continue flying with indigo airlines

      I booked a flight on[protected] pnr tijcta from delhi to pune. Due to heavy rain i was late by 5 min at bording gate 7b. I. E at 2.00 a. M
      I requested the staff as my flight was at 2 20 but he denied saying company policy.
      Company has delayed its flight many times by 2 to 5 hrs when its bad weather. Then why only 5 min delay was not taken into consideration. Even without any reason i had boarded 15 min before into flight of indigo. What happened at that time about policy

We do understand how delays can impact our customers and therefore we make every possible effort to minimize such delays and offer our customers an on-time flying experience. Also, we advise our passengers to reach the airport 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure to avoid any last min hassle. However, it is pertinent to note that reporting on-time is the passenger's sole responsibility. Since our boarding gates were already closed for the flight our staff was unable to accept you for the flight.
      Further, we request you to get in touch with the travel agency used while making the reservation to claim the refund towards no show taxes. We sincerely hope that you will see this matter in the right spirit.

      We 9 passengers were stuck at the airport from last 1.30 hrs.. But misbehaved.. They did it intentionally very poor service... We have a conference today itself.. Please help us..

        I was travelling with my 4 year old daughter in indigo 6e - 2289 from bangalore to new delhi on 19th july 2018. The pnr number is rm4z9b

        At the airport, i was given different seats for both o[censored]s without information.

        After boarding the flight, i went to 12th row seat with my daughter which was allotted to me. Flight attendant told to move to 6th row which was allotted to my daughter and request the passenger there to exchange my seat with him as kids are not allowed to sit on wing seat. I did so but realized that 2 passengers were together and did not wanted to shift. So again i went to 12th row and requested a passenger who was alone to take 6th row. After some time, the ground staff came and said i cannot sit on 12th row with my daughter because it is wing seat and used for emergency landing.

        I don't understand how come a 4 year old kid is expected to sit all alone in some other seat. Isn't it a common sense?

        The indigo staff at the airport atleast should have informed me about this.

        I refused to shift and told ground staff to find 2 seats for us before i shift. After some time he did so and then we shifted. It was a big hassle for me and my daughter.

        We regret the inconvenience caused and would like to inform you that IndiGo allows passengers to pre-book the seats from the time of confirmation of the reservation till 2 hours prior to the departure scheduled time. Also, we would like to mention that minors are not permitted to seat in 12th and the 13th row on our Airbus aircraft due to emergency exit rows.
        Further, we would like to inform you that the seats are allocated on a first come first serve basis. This is the reason due to which our staff was unable to find together available seats while assisting you at the counter.
        We would like to assure you that IndiGo is a transparent organisation and all our policies have been framed to comply with necessary regulatory guidelines.
        Nevertheless, we have shared your experience as feedback to ensure that the concerned staff member is counselled to be extremely responsible and sensitive while assisting passengers at the airport.

          Indigo flight our flight no. 6e 477 (A320) on dated 27.07.2018
          Bengaluru (T1) to amritsar

          I have get the very bad experience of your indigo staff at bangalore airport. I have to share with you.

          Due to mis-guide by your staff on bangalore air port, our flight was missed.

          They had give us wrong information about gate, in boarding pass they wrote 12 no gate but actual flight was comes on 14 no gate.

          As mentioned in our boarding pass & informed to us by your staff, we was waiting on 12 no gate from 9.00 am to 10.30 am, but no any your staff announce our name or informed to us that, flight was departure from gate no 14.

          If any passenger not available or absent on their seat, there was your staff responsibility to announce the passenger name or search to passenger,

          It was your company responsibility to arrange another flight for us, but after doing arguments with your staff, then they agreed to arrange another flight for us, but for that, your company charged extra 5000/- rupees to us.

          Because of your staf[censored]n-responsibility, we faced so many problems.

          Now, how we will believe or trust on your service, which we take very bad experience indigo service.

          We have investigated the concern and would like to summarize our findings. You were booked to board flight 6E-477 from Bengaluru to Amritsar, which was scheduled to depart at 10:00 hrs on 29th July 2018. As per policy, boarding gate closes 25 mins prior to the scheduled departure time. Further, we would like to inform you that Bengaluru airport is a silent airport, hence we are not allowed to do announcement. Therefore, our staff went beyond their prescribed call of duty and tried contacting you on the registered mobile number, however the call was not established and manual paging was conducted. Also, change in gate are communicated to all the passengers via the display system at the airport. Since our boarding gates were already closed by the time you reported, our staff was unable to accept you for the flight.
          Our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help you reach the destination, our airport team offered you to accommodate in the next available flight subject to payment of applicable charges, which were accepted by you. We sincerely hope that you will see this matter in the right spirit.

            Our pnr # hblirc july -26-2018 at around 3:15 pm, when we (U. S citizens) went to the counter of indigo airline; mr owais ali shah gave us very hard time he wanted to know the full credit card number exp date and phone # attached to this card i called my husband to the usa he refused to give him all the card info then he threatened me that we don't own this ticket and have to buy new tickets cash, my husband asked him do you have the whole card # owais said no i have only last 4 digits my husband asked him if you don't have the whole # how u will know the rest of the #s, when my husband told him that they are u. S citizens and have a connecting flight from delhi to usa owais checked all the u. S passport on a domestic flight he was writing some information from our passport which i don't know, these tickets were purchased 3 months ago online from the usa. Owais was trying to get our personal credit card information, my son will alert the people on youtube about this terrible incident we are almost 400 people in the usa and i have informed them about this incident and we are not planning to use indigo airline in future, i am pretty sure he was writing our date of birth

              I, am col p k roy [retd] was travelling by your airlines from bangalore [kia] to delhi. My pnr nu dde7mz. Seat nu 15 d. Class t. Date of travel - 13 july 2018. Flight nu - 6e 2132. Dep time : 0605h.
              Complaint.
              1. I was carrying one check in luggage. Weight 15 kg (+) 200-300 grams. Passed.
              2. Ticket issued.
              3. As i started to proceed, the counter gentleman a highly motivated and upcoming person asked me "is that your trolley?" i said yes.
              4. The gentleman asked me to put the small back pack (Cabin luggage) on the weighing machine. Weight = 7 (+300 gms).
              5. The highly motivated indigo staff went on to say put your laptop bag on the machine. I did.
              6. The highly motivated indigo staff went on to say put your hand purse.
              7. I did.
              8. The highly motivated indigo staff went on to say sorry i will have to charge you for 4 kgs extra.
              9. Flabbergasted, i said i have never had to pay extra luggage for my laptop.
              10. Then i told him that i am a veteran and a pensioner and your very old customer and if possible help me.
              11. He then noticed that my ticket is dfns.
              12. With a smirk on his face, he declared — "i can't help you and charged me for 4 kgs = inr 1600.00. Receipt - 1637549 dated 13 julu 2018 [cash].
              13. My dear who ever reading this or if reading this, must know that neither you will be richer nor i will be poorer by inr 1600.00. But the insensitive behavior by the highly motivated indigo staff really pained me.
              14. I did bless my god that he did not ask me to take my pants and underwear to also weigh.
              15. Social media and news media is full of foul remarks against your airlines. Beating up elderly man by dragging him down from the bus, making a woman wait at the tarmac all alone in the dead of night... Being chamcha of vip like sri sri ravi shankar etc are well known to all o[censored]s.

              As per our records, you were carrying 2 pieces of hand baggage, which were 12 kgs in total. Therefore, our staff has requested you to check- in one of your hand baggage and charged for 4 kg of excess check-in baggage only at the rate of INR 400 per kilogram.

                My relative was travelling on mumbai to doha flight no 1709 via booking ref dlrkvb. The passenger seema mendhy was not allowed to board the flight as she had ecr stamp on her passport. I spoke to the duty manager at the airport and he assured me he will change the flight to 4 august and the passenger can apply to passport authorities for temporary suspension of ecr. Now when i tried to take printout of the revised flight it did not allow me to do so. So i checked with the chat function with customer service. They are informing me rescheduling is only possible 4 hours before the flight. Are you serious passenger was at the airport at your counter how would she know that 4 hours before she would be returned. The duty manager from indigo assured me he will change the flight on the pnr to 4 th august and i need to pay 3500 for change in fare which is agreed and told him can i pay online which he said yes. Now the back office representative swathi on online chat is saying it not possible and 4 hours before i should have rescheduled. There is something very much wrong with the indigo service and needs immediate action. Please revert how do i get my flight rescheduled. George lucas[protected] and to top it up she expects i should go to the mumbai airport to have this change from qatar which is ridiculous.

                  On the reception dear at the weighing and luggage counter of indigo on the guwahati airport my luggage exceeded by 3kgs and they charged me 400 rs per kg which should be 300 per kg as per your terms. Though my flight was domestic flight and i was flying to bagdogra today on 28th july at 10:05 my boarding time. The pnr no is-dgrs79. How can u cheat your customers like this please take actions against it so it doesn't repeat with someone else and i want my money back.

                    I am currently sitting on flight no 6e158 which is to travel from ahmedabad to delhi. This plane stinks of bad odour as if they have never sprayed any room freshner. This odour is making it very hard for me to sit comfortably in this flight. It is as if the whole plane is filled with clothes which have not been washed since god knows how many days.

                      A person named saika sharma from aviation industry is offering airlines jobs in shine.com, ther is an job
                      I applied it without knowing the cheating. I paid rs 2500 for application fees as they asked. After that they informed me to pay 6500 for documents checking charges. I paid 6500 also, after that they said yo issue the offer latter u must pay 13500.
                      I kindly request to consider this matter and take action against this kind of online job offer cheating.

                        I have bought 2 tickets (Agortala to chennai, indigo (6e438), for august - 06-2017, e ticket number 707sc4yqs & 707sc4yqs), by bdt11579. Now i want to cancel the tickets for some personal problem. But travel agent imposed cancellation charge total bdt 4618*2= bdt 9236, which is approximately 80%.
                        But i known the cancellation charge only 1500 rupies per ticket.

                        We recognize the importance of maintaining our flight schedules and we put in our best efforts to eliminate or minimize such instances of cancellations or rescheduling and do realizes the impact on the convenience of our passengers, please accept our sincerest apology.
                        In a case such as this, where an IndiGo flight is cancelled, our customers can either opt for a full refund of the fare, else a credit for future travel or a re-booking onto an alternative IndiGo flight at no additional cost.                           I had booked a ticket having pnr no. Y9qmjl dated 8th july, 2018. Ticket was from bhubaneswar to pune. Money was deducted and ticket was not confirmed. When i contacted customer care of indigo, they told money will be refunded to your account. I made a new booking with higher price and travelled. Till today i have followed up with the customer care of indigo and sent mail with the bank statements. All in vain. Till now there is no refund or response from indigo.

                            Dear authority,

                            As a written proof at airport "baggage drop in 45 mins prior" we reached 4:30 am at counter for 5:20 flight to jaipur. Girl named prithvi wasted our time conversing & saying we are late & some indigo employee (This employee on seeing us itself started saying rudely that you have to take evening flight) made us stand in queue (We could hear no indigo person announcing for jaipur as i was taking care of baggage & 2 senior citizen with me. On insisting they allowed the senior citizen & stopped me & my brother.

                            Lie no 1) we are no show reported as we were late (Which we weren't)
                            Ans) those senior citizen said that our seats were full - we had paid for premium seats and got premium seats, how could these seats go full!!!
                            They sold it to someone i guess hence made up all the story & stopped us

                            Lie no 2) it slipped out of prithvi's tongue only (I wish i had recorded) "i could have done it when to came here now all doors are closed, ohhh i mean you were late & doors are closed".

                            Since the start they asked us to take another flight. They didn't allow us do kiosk check in kept us engaged in their nonsense conversation & then gave us evening flight option at base cost of 1000/- we took that in 2 flights 1 for myself @1000/- 5:05 pm jaipur flight another @1000/- in 7:50 pm jaipur flight for brother. Now i reached @4:00 pm for my evening flight & this time i tried getting my brother on my 5:05 pm flight (Everything became possible as i was paying 1000/- again to get him on 5:05 pm flight)

                            Boarding happened this time at 4;40 pm for 5:05 pm flight
                            It was a trap to hide their mistake of allotting our seats to someone and earning 3000/-

                            There is so much wrong that happened there that day which i am not able to type as i have no words to type how swiftly & tactfully we were fooled, cheated & a fraud happened

                              Dear sir,

                              I had a return flight no e-512, pnr j98yry-6e 557 from bhuvaneshwar to chennai on 15 jul 2018. We had traveled from puri to bhuvaneshwar and reached airport just 45 minutes prior to stating the above flight ie. 1245 h. The actual starting time of above flight is 1330 on 15 jul 2018. We were stopped and declined our baggage by the checking counter staff on the plea that all the checking have been closed and document sent. I showed the time it was just 42-43 minutes still left for flight to start. My wife is a diabetic patient and and on a hurry she fell down. All the lady staff witnessed this incident and they also inquired about her well being. We had requested to lady staff at the checking counter that we had only hand baggage's which could be carried in the flight but she was so adamant and did not agree to our genuine requests. There was actually enough time and we could have been easily accommodated in the flght without much hassles. I know the indigo flight starts at a different location that is far from boarding point. Nevertheless we had sufficient time to board the flight. I immoderately went to one mr salim by the time flight had started off. I could not meet him mr salim at the very moment since nobody told him there was one supervisor who could have helped us. He pleaded his inability and assured such things will not occur in future. I had to rush to a local hospital and administer medication to my wife. I had to book another flight and that cost rs 18000/- besides all kind of harassment by your lady staff at ticket counter as well as checkingcounters. Who would bear this loss? I am regular traveler through indigo and you can see my records. Being an ex-serviceman my self i am aware all the security issues the flight has to undergo. Still i feel i have been victimized for not a good reason

As per policy, check-in counter closes 45 minutes prior to the departure and you reached at 12:55 hrs. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. However, it is pertinent to note that reporting on-time is the passenger's sole responsibility. Also, we advise our passengers to reach the airport 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure to avoid any last min hassle. Based on our records, you reported after the check-in counter closure.                                   Today i traveled from delhi to hyderabad via 6e 552 indigo flight. My bag was fine at delhi airport but when i got my bag here in hyd it was damaged, handle was broken and now i need to get it changed. I would want indigo to take this responsibility and reimburse the amount as it happened because of your grasping staff who mishandled this bag.

                                    My name is shrihari and am i am fresher we fresher don t have much knowledge about job agencies so we can t figure out which agency is fake and which agency is real and security deposit is not strange thing for us we pay security deposit for everything. They asked my resume and provide me phone interview then i paid sd they actually send me offer letter in that offer letter they mentioned job location and salary there was no reason to doubt them.
                                    No one can tell the forms and offer letters they sending its fake.
                                    Suddenly one day the official number they been in touch with me that no and email id become invalid. They are fooling everyone in same pattern and am not the only one who got fooled 2000+ other peoples are also got fooled that means indigo is being little bit careless about this those fake agencies taking advantage of indigo and people like us i know this complaint is not going to help me but pleas if anyone reading this complaint from indigo pleas try to take some action against those fake agencies

A girl has speak with me she told me she is from indigo airlines hr department. They got my cv for group staff at Bangalore and they ask me few questions about my location then she suggested to join at jaipur international airport because jaipur. Then she explain me all process. Then she ask me to submit sum documents ( 1. Passport size photo, 2. Id proof, 3. Last qualification document, 4. Resume) on this email address Hr.[protected]@gmail.com then I have send all 4 documents on this mail address then i got 1 more call from same no then she said me my documents are verified now I'm selected for the first round in that round they have to answer 20 questions in time limit of 30 minutes and the minimum marks are 5 then I told her how to go for it then she told me i have to generate my referral code for that I have to pay 1850 rupees that is refundable amount if I'm rejected at any round then she send me an account detail in which i have to submit money on sms from same no and the account is

                                      Today 19:12:20 pm, indigo airlines inr.1125.00 debited from my account without refund my payment. Not fair again and again cheating me, without refund my money how indigo debited amount, you people us pressurizing and we trust you and share all our details, but finally we are the looser. We trust consumer complaint board will kept all messages confidential but we become fool in front of indigo airlines, indigo airlines within 24 hours have to refund my money along with compensation otherwise consumer complaint board responsible have to take action against my complaint report.
