I am going with the complaint of mental torture by indigo staff. On 7.08.17 in morning my flight from bangalore to indore was at 5.20 am, i was at airport by 4.15 am. The staff did not allowed me to go to boarding counter but diverted to this touch screen check - in system. Yes, first encounter with this stupid and dumb slow staff member, there was some printing issue which wasted my 10 min. Suddenly a person came shouting and running randomly quoting "flight 526 mumbai, hyderabad, (Some random city names you can barely hear) along with name indore (Which later appeared that was announcing the call for passengers, seriously! They do not have mikes?) fine then this lady at the counter said, check in is closed here, please go to the main counter. There second encounter with dumb staff, there was some issue with luggage weighing machine (My id and ticket was on her table) after exact wasting 15 min for technical issue she said you cant board this flight, i looked at watch it was showing 4.40 am. Then third encounter with extremely rude employee named"kubra taj", who came, indulge in an argument and said" haan ho gyi galti maaf kijiye but jaakar next flight book karaiye time mat waste kijiye nahi to wo bhi chhut jayegi". Now at the booking counter my fourth encounter with three extremely lazy ladies busy in flaunting their make ups, with huge rush outside their window, took place. There atm machine and printing got stuck so for every ticket they were taking 10 min. Some how i reached to counter at 5.10 am, they chrged me 6, 700 rs (Total to and fro charge of the prior booked ticket which was booked 4 month ago was 7000 aprox) there were 18 people along with me some of them came way before me to the airport.
Now after all this it doesn't stop, again at the boarding counter she asked me to pay extra 200 rs for my total 9 kg check in luggage and that too at the counter which was literally 1 km away with huge line. Whole scene was macchi bazaar, with people running all around somehow i boarded at 5.50 am for 6.05 am (Yes now it was allowed). Can i get answer where was my fault? Why i was charged? Why i have to face such nuisance and torture?

    Hi,

    My name is dnyanesh pardhi, pnr no. Te2wrg, i have booked return flight from pune to nagpur for 15th august onward and 17th return. I have booked these tickets on 26th july, 2017; before booking these tickets on 26 i have been checking the flight prices for the date 15th august, on 24th, 25th july, the rate showing was more than inr 8000/- and for the date 17th august it was showing cheaper so i booked for 17th august.
    Now as it surfaced that i need to get back from nagpur to pune on 15th itself, i was browsing the ticket fares for the same, and alas it is showing less than inr 4000/-.
    Now when i called airline call center they are saying that 2250/-will be deducted and then the difference between both the flight fares, that would be coming nearly 6000/-.
    I requested them not to deduct any money as i am booking there flight only just two days before, and other than that, i think they are fooling customers by showing them higher prices at earlier stage and then reducing it and charging this kind of penalties.
    The only excuse they got is prices are dynamic. I can understand that, but this much of variation and what would happen to those passengers who booked the same journey at more than 8000/- and now there co-passengers enjoying the same at lower than half prices.

    I am ready to pay the difference, but request you to do not deduct any amount.
    What i am getting from this now is that under the banner prices are dynamic, indigo manipulates the market and obviously fooling the customer. Yes you can change the prices and keep whatever you want but you shouldn’t charge extra from those who have booked later days flight just because of the prices you showed them and now want to change the dates.
    Don’t put customers into fool’s category, they are the one that runs the business.

      Dear sir,

      I would request you to take note of the below-provided trail mail to gain an understanding of the issue that i would like to get addressed.

      (Please find attached the ticket with booking reference : y53gqr and dob - 25/01/2017)

      The ticket in question had been cancelled and thus a credit of an amount equal to rs.1444 was due. The bank has cited its inability to process it as it is beyond its timeframe of action. So it's as per bank's request to contact cleartrip for redressal of the same.

      Therefore i kindly request you to take up this issue with priority and expedite the process of refund.

        I travelled from hyd to mumbai on 4th aug via indigo airline, on arrival while collecting my bag from baggage counter at mumbai airport i found handle of my bag is broken due to improper handling by indigo ground staff..
        I reported it immediately at indigo baggage counter and they took photo of damaged bag and confirmed that its totally damaged during transfer and they will raise it internally to their resp department but they simply refused further action saying its not coming under any compensation rule..
        They will just highlight itand apart from that they can not do anything..

        I need your help as i would not bare this cost because of careless staff of any such airlines..

          On 4th august i had a flight 6e-6913 from varanasi to hyderabad at 6:50 pm. I reached at 6:15pm and requested them a lot to allow me to catch the flight which was standing at the runway. Though the indigo airlines says that the check-in closes 30 minutes before departure but they did not allow me. I only had hand baggage but still the staff was rude to not allow me. Instead i checked later the flight took off before scheduled time around 6:39 pm. How could they not care about a passenger just to reach the flight on time. Its so selfish and unethical. Just to maintain their reputation they can cause trouble to their customer who has paid so much for flight booking thinking that no one will get to know about this

            On 26 July 2017 i have taken a flight from Ahmadabad to Kochi Departure at 9.20 Am in IndiGo Flight. and My PNR is WIJ28U. as per the scheduled IndiGo has committed to arrive me on cochi at 13.20,
            but without any prior intimation the IndiGo hostesses shifted me to the Mumbai airport and told to contact with the IndiGo Staff, We were not aware of anything is happening, anyhow we reached to the IndiGo counter in the Mumbai airport, but there were also not aware of anything after that they told to wait in the airport, after that one of the executive staff from the IndiGo has came and told that the we have to go in another flight after 7 hours.
            Because of this reason i have to suffer a lost financially and physical, so i kindly requested to refund my booking amount

                For lucknow to bombay flight on 27 july 2017, flight no. 6e 685, i accept that me and 10 other passengers reached at airport late which was due to heavy jam on the kanpur - lko highway, however when we reached airport, the indigo staff issued the boarding pass to me and 2 more passengers and we immediately rushed to the boarding gate, but there was no communication between the issuing authority and the man standing at the final gate due to which the final entry gate person stopped us from entering in and spoke to us in very rude tone as if it was our fault for being late, and while all this we could see that the plane was still standing connected to the jet bridge. We kept requesting to him that the plane is still connected so please let us enter, but the man rudely rejected and after 10 min of his rejection the bridge was removed.

                If it was a question of 1 or 2 persons i would have had noi say in this, but there was 10-15 passengers and the company still considered no one to let them enter the plane.
                Specially the 3 o[censored]s who received the boarding pass from the counter and reached the final entry gate and still were not allowed.

                It felt like the airlines was trying to sell the tickets of next flight as we had to reach bombay the same day.
                We had to pay for next flight while the flight was still at the airport.
                It was purely to sell 10-15 more tickets of next flight.

                  Yesterday i was travelling from bangalore to srinagar with pnr cb16ym by flights 6e 367 and 6e 203 as i reached srinagar i checked my baggage and found my wallet empty which was filled with six thousand rupees cash i don't had money to move from airport to hotel as i came here as a tourist. I kindly request you please take action about this within 24 hrs otherwise after 24 hrs i'm tweet same thing

                    I came for check in at 5.24pm, flight time was 6pm. I got delayed in traffic jam in pune at 2 places. After my arrival near check in the ticketing staff (Male) shown me the rule that check in closed 45 min before flight time. He pretended to talk to senior to allow me if possible. At the same time i met 2 passengers they said they have faced same problem in the morning flight and due to delay in check they are catching evening flight.in front on eyes indigo person checked in their baggage. Literally he was waiting for passenger like me to come late and he will allow others to make more money. If rule is closing check in 45 min before flight time. How indigo allow others to check in. You can check close circuit tv and give me justice. I had lost my important meeting. I am requesting for flight ticket refund & compensation.

                      I arrived at the boarding 3 mins late than the stipulated 25 mins window (I. E. 28 mins). I'd simultaneously (That very moment) received a call from an indigo rep asking me where i was. Shockingly, the lady at the boarding gate said that the gates are closed and i have to book another flight. As the other rep was already on call with me i told her to speak to her. But the lady the gate counter refused to the person on phone and i was compelled to make another booking.

                      As the indigo rep had called and she said she was waiting at the very time i was at the gate, i'm sure something could have been done about it. I have been travelling for years and have seen passengers enter the gate way after the 25-minute window. But it seemed like indigo has this new strict way (Of possibly earning money) as there were many people who were given the same treatment. There was apparently an indigo rep standing right at the security who was telling people that the gates have been closed.

                      Due to the excess queues at airports these days and mismanaged operations, anyone could be late by a minute or two. But the airline isn't cooperating at any circumstance.

                      Indigo is allowing only 1 bag of 7kg cab in luggage which includes laptop.

                      But where as other airlines including international airlines allows one laptop, tab, camera in cabin luggage.

                      Need to inform all domestic airlines not to consider atleast laptop as cabin luggage.

                          My name is harsh srivastava. This is in regards to my flight travel on 28th july from bangalore to lucknow via scheduled flight 6e 163 (Pnr - cis39b), which was the worst experience i ever had in my any travel.

                          The flight was cancelled and was only notified 45 min prior to the scheduled departure while i was already at the airport and had waited for more than 3 hours due to the rules defined by the flight.

                          Now next was the allotment of seats in another flight via delhi to lucknow. I don't understand on what basis the allotment was done as even though i was one of the first passenger to request for another flight at the indigo service desk, i was given the last connecting flight to lucknow at 7:30 pm from delhi, whereas nearly all passengers were given seats in the earlier flights. This was really inconvenient and i had to wait for more than 4 hours at delhi airport in bad health conditions.

                          I need an explanation of why the flight was cancelled and notified at the last moment and also why i was not given seat in the earlier connecting flight from delhi at around 4 o' clock. This has caused me severe physical pain and discomfort. As indigo charges more for direct flights i demand refund for the connecting travel via delhi and the time wasted.

                            Dear indigo team,

                            I have travelled in your carrier multiple times in the past but i never faced a humiliation as such in my last trip. I booked a ticket in idigo through cleartrip on 28th in 6e-907 from chennai to delhi. While there was a scan check delay and security delay i was late to counter by 5 mins. I rwas refused to onboard citing delay. But still i has 15 minutes of time to clear my security and reach to flight gate. Despite my request, it was turned down. And i was asked to pay additional 3170 in offer to board next flight 6e 3752 (Seat number 10b). Whereas there were similar passanger who came much late to me was offered in same flight at much loer rate of just 950 rs. His name is muralidharan. Why different rate? First of all it was delay due to scan check in indigo to go to counter check-in. Despite i said ok, i should have been given ticket which is at same prices what offered to another passenger. Why excessive charge for me alone?

                              I had booked one flight from bangalore to ahmedabad through yatra.com. For travel on 30.07.2017 for my wife sangita jalota. Flight is changed and details are advised to me which was not suitable to me. I was forced to accept it or take full refund. My complaints are as under-:
                              A. Indigo airlines has changed the flight for its commercial interest and offered / compelled me to take flight which was not convenient to me or take refund so that they can sell ticket at much higher price.
                              B secondly ticket was booked under light category, where passenger cannot carry check-in baggage without ant distinct indication / alert message and now charging rs.200 for check-in baggage. This is also an attempt recover additional baggage.
                              C. The representatives of your company are only knowing to say sorry or apologize. They have shown no interest to address the issues. I requested your representative to campansate the passenger in following ways-:
                              A. Allow to carry 15 kg baggage without additional charges.
                              B. Provide free meals on board.
                              C. Provide convenient front or window seat on board.
                              Your representative is not ready to extend above facilities also. Hence this complaint, if not resolve i will be forced to go to dgca/ consumer forum for redressal.

                                  I had a flight to board from new delhi to udaipur on 29 july 2017 from flight 6e746
                                  Scheduled at 7.40 am
                                  I checked into the boarding at 6.55am and did my security checkin.. I got a call around 7.11 due to technical issues i coundnt attend the call.. By 7.23 i went down at the boarding gate and they didnt let me enter.. The flight was supposed to be at 7.40
                                  I missed my exam because of them..
                                  They should have let me in and i want a refund back

                                    I, dr angshu banerjee, purchased an online indigo flight ticket (From indigo website) on 1st may 2017. The ticket was to and fro (Return journey) from delhi to kolkata on 10th june 2017 and kolkata to delhi on 18th june 2017.
                                    Pnr no of the ticket was n571 ub flight no : 6e 307 from at 17-50 hrs delhi to kolkata and 6e 854
                                    From kolkata to delhi at 8- 50 hrs.
                                    The price was debited from my icici kolkata bank account amounting rs 9671on 1st may 2017.
                                    Surprisingly, the same amount of money is again deducted from same account on 21st july by indigo.
                                    I contacted indigo customer care (Ph no [protected]) on 21sst july at 15- 20 hrs. There it was told that some officer would call me within 24 hrs. But till now i have received no call from the company.
                                    This is a total unethical practice and i request the authority to immediately solve the matter and credit the amount in my account.

                                      To whomsoever it may concern,
                                      I am kautilya tushar rajyaguru. I was travelling from mumbai to dehradun with your airlines on date 20th july. My flight number was 6e 3612 from mumbai. I had done online check inn as i dint have any check inn baggage. My seat number was 21d from mumbai to delhi and 23c from delhi to dehradun. I had printed the boarding pass from home still went to counter number 29 to confirm that the boarding pass i have would be fine. The lady on the counter said it is fine and asked me to proceed towards gate number 13. I had cleared the security check and was at the gate at sharp 5:00 am. I was asked to wait by one of your staff members when i approached the gate. I again went at 5:10 and was still asked to wait and they would inform.in the mean time i see them announcing for closing of boarding gate for flight to vadodra and bengaluru. But no announced for my flight to delhi. When i went to the gate again at 5:50 i was told that the flight has been pushed back n it was my fault that i missed the flight.
                                      Then i was checked out and taken to the counter number 8 where ms. Trupti said the same story to me and upon my request called mr. Mathew who was asst. Customer relation head. I begged them to accommodate me on next possible flight as i was going for the asthi visarjan of my grandfather. Two of my brothers were flying from ahmedabad to delhi (Via indigo) and from delhi we were supposed to be in the same flight (6e 964).
                                      From the aiport i called your helpline number. ([protected]). I talked to ms. Neha over the phone. She also denied to register any complain like your staff at the airport. After my requests the airport staff (Ms. Trupti and mr. Mathew) agreed to accommodate me on the next indigo flight but asked me to pay inr 18k plus. Which for me as a student is a huge amount. I told them i cant pay this huge amount and please try and understand the purpose of travel was to do the asthi visarjan of my grandfather whose murat was 2:30 pm in haridwar. They refused to understand so finally i left the airport departure terminal and went to the adjoining police station. Over there they called mr. Mathew again and the police official requested them to accommodate me but again mr. Mathew had the same thing to say and again asked me to pay inr 18k plus.
                                      So i left the police station. My father booked a direct flight from mumbai to dehradun via jetairways which costed him inr 7476/-. I had to rush to the international airport t2 to make it to the flight. Though i reached dehradun at 1:00 pm i couldnt make it to the asthi visarajan as its a long drive from dehradun to haridwar and due to kaward a local festival the highways were packed. So my brothers had to do the asthi visarjan in my absence.
                                      I demand a claim of inr 40, 000/- for the harassment caused to me. The mistreatment by your airport staff and the sheer negligence from your staff. And majorly i missed the asthi visarjan of my grandfather due to your airlines and staff. I was a fond traveler of your airlines as its economic and always on time. But after this incident i wouldn't like to travel again with your airlines.
                                      I would be approaching the consumer forum if my claim isn't paid to me within 2 weeks from now.
