I had checked in two small bags and in one of the bags power bank was identified, the airport staff had noted down the details of the item and handed it over to the indigo ground staff, the ground staff said they would handover it to me at the flight or i would have to get it collected by my relatives from delhi airport, none of these two things happened. today (10/19) my relatives went to collect the power bank but they were made to wait for 90 minutes and made them run all over the airport and behaved carelessly with them.

Nothing related to carrying powerbank in checkin bags has been mentioned by them beforehand and their staff are not responsible enough to safeguard customers items. i tried to check the status of item at baggage counters of delhi and hyderabad. none of them are aware of the incident. i feel indigo staff might have stolen my item assuming that customers would not come again to collect their item.

I seek compensation for the samsung power bank misplaced.

    Indigo loots web booking passengers by overcharging for seats. While doing web check-in at any given point of time, for any window or aisle seats mimimum you have to pay 200 rs. And ofcourse there are seats with 300 rs and 600rs additional charges as well. There are no free aisle or window seats available. If you ask them they will tell that those were there but people have already booked it. There are only middle seats which you can book free of charge.

      This is regarding customer care mail "re: fw: indigo - transaction initiated crm:01284984". I booked flight from kolkata to bhubaneswar (Return) for 2nd nov and the transaction was successful via icici net banking. However it showed error when it returned back to the indigo page. As per a message which popped up earlier before starting the net banking process, there was a message which meant that the behavior is common and expected. I was promised the following "if the payment gets deducted from your account without a confirmed reservation (No booking confirmation or email itinerary received), it will be our endeavour to offer you the same affordable fare you opted for, through a confirmed reservation or a hold booking basis the final status of the payment made".
      But today i recieved a email that "however we regret to inform you that the reservation from the said transaction could not be generated.

      The amount of inr 18888/- deducted from your account will be refunded to the same bank account within next 5-7 working days.".
      This clearly seemed to be a technical fault at your end but i had to suffer.
      It really seems a breach of commitment and a clear case if harrassment.

        I had my flight 6E 769 on 16.10.16 scheduled on 8.25. I reched d airport on tym and ws in the que from 6.56 am by the tym i rchd the checkin counter at 7.40 the indigo staff told me tht i can not board the flight. Despite of being on the time i ws asked to buy new tckt wrth rupees 8250. Sheer wastage of money and time. It was truly unprofessional behaviour ahwn by the staff and indigo services. I will never ever recommend any one to takw indigo flghts n i. Myself will nvr travell byb indigo.

          I have had traveled in indigo flight from Visakhapatnam to Bangalore on 16th Oct 2016. The person who gave me the boarding pass first time he asked me to go to wash room and clean my face and second time when I came he again asked me to come after 20 minute to collect the boarding pass. Why shall I wash my face or wait 20 minutes to get my boarding pass? Is there any rule in any flight in India to get a boarding pass the customer has to clean his face and need to wait for 20 minute to get the boarding pass. CCTV footage is also there in the airport of Visakhapatnam and anyone can check. Please correct me how I am wrong. If I am not wrong then the person who gave me the boarding pass must have to be punished by personally saying sorry or a compensation is required. My flight reference number is UFD7GK.

              I have booked my ticket for Hyderabad from Kolkata NSCB airport by Indigo 6E-194 flight, PNR no-VC8QTW and Booking Id-NF[protected], date of Journey- 16.10.2016
              Yesterday (16.10.2016) I have checked in 55 minutes prior to the flight departure time so I directly visit your fast check in counter but indigo customer care executives has refrained me to issue boarding pass n tried to convince me to travel next day by paying huge extra amount.

              This is the first time ever i experienced such type of behaviour by Indigo staffs. As far as checked in concerned usually when I was late by few minutes they used to call and I remembered even I got my boarding pass 30 minutes prior to flight departure time. But why today they showed inappropriate customer service.

              How could the gate closed on 5:10 pm for 6:40 pm flight? It may be I was misguided by your customer care executives who was on duty on fast check-in counter as well as executives who were in charge of issuing boarding pass.

              Is this due to inundate customers travelling from kolkata on festive season?

              Are they sold my tickets on premium rate to other by closing gate on time due to increased no of demands ?

              Can I get my amount refunded as i was victim o[censored]r bad customer service?

              Could u please suggest me what will be the solution for this i[censored] are not refunding the amount.

              I had tried to book ticket for Flight No 6E 493, Journey date 09.12.2016 from Ranchi to Patna on 07 Oct 2016 through IRCTC site. The tkt was not booked due to reasons not known to me but the amount of Rs 1109/-was debited from my account.

                Dear sir,
                Mr. Naman Bharti and Paras Yadavwhose flight as mentioned was booked for 16.10.16 vide invoice no NF 27185 scheduled for departure at 6:40 hrs. Both reported at airport well in time as there was a long que for boarding pass. At the time of their turn the issue of boarding was refused and there was more than 35 min was left for flight take off.

                No announcement or arrangement was made to bring forward passengers and there was a complete choas at the counter. It is clearly a total mismanagement to harrass passenger.

                Even after meeting seniors no relief or alternate flight was given on the same ticket and we were forced to purchase new ticket for 10:10 am as reaching destination was essential.

                It is requested to please attend to my grievance at the earliest and make complete refund of Rs. 17000.00 spent on two tickets from DEL to MAA. As no provision or special counter was arranged to early going flights.

                  Indigo 11:45 pm flight is delayed for 5 hours on Oct 15th flight no 6E 0807.
                  Indigo staff did not provide any updates.
                  Also did not provide any alternatives for passengers. All passengers left stranded along with small kids. They did not follow any guidelines or rules and regulations as per indigo terms/conditions.

                    Hi indigo team, i had fed up with indigo service today. I had very bad experienced today. I reached ontime, baggage check in before 45 mins but still your staff did't assist me correctly and i missed the flight even if i reached to boarding time before 25 mins. So again booked the fresh flight and came to mumbai and found my baggage not uploaded by baggage team. I have travelled from hyderabad to mumbai today at 9.50am from flight 6e 608. I have registered the baggage misplaced complaint in mumbai baggage department. But still didn't get any status of my baggage. Can you please take action against them as it is very pathetic service and. They told me you will get status but still i am waiting for their response.                       Dear customer relation - indigo,

                      This is to bring to your notice a very horrible experience with indigo airlines on poor behavior and irresponsible response of indigo ground staff at bengaluru airport when me with my family were in airport on 3rd oct’16. We were in the long queue at 4:55 am to check-in our luggage (1 hr. 10 minutes ahead of scheduled time). When the queue was too slow and we approached a indigo staff near the “self-check-in” machine, he directed us to counter no. 27. When we approached the man in counter no. 27, he tried calling someone and struggling to get the line and lastly directed us to counter no. 25 to meet a lady, who was so-called a manager with a very pathetic behavior.

                      The rude lady was very arrogant and didn’t want to listen to me but repeatedly asked me to go to indigo booking counter. Looking at the long queue behind us, i approached the booking counter expecting a solution but i was shocked and surprised when the counter lady asked me to pay rs. 36, 112.00/- and rebook for the next flight scheduled at 13:15 hrs. She also repeatedly told that there were only 5 seats available for the day and if i do not avail them, i may not get any tickets later. I did not want to spoil the summer vacation trip and disappoint my family, i again paid rs. 36, 112.00/- from b’lore to dehra dun on the same day at 13:15 hrs.

                      I was also shocked to see that it was not only me and my family but there were almost 12/13 passengers who were asked to come to the booking counter with the same reason. It was very clear that indigo staffs were harassing passengers with this type of reasons and made them to pay double flight fares for the next flights. Rude and arrogant behavior of the indigo airlines ground staff in bengaluru airport are intolerable. There was a lady passenger who collected all the contact numbers of all passengers who had been deprived of their travel that day and asked to pay excess amounts for the next flights will probably take this as a mass complaints against indigo. But i didn’t want wait for that and taking my grievance through this mail to you.

                      I would ask you to refund my excess amount of rs. 36, 112/- which has been paid for no fault of mine but due to negligence from indigo ground staff at bengaluru airport.

                      Fyi – we all saw that one passenger from go air (Next counter from indigo airlines) has missed his scheduled flight on same day, 3rd oct’16 and he had been accommodated in the next flight with no extra cost.

                      Me and my family had been frequent flyers of indigo but the above incident has made us to rethink if we would prefer indigo again!!!

                        It is with great regret that i write to you,
                        Regarding the mishandled and damaged state
                        Of my checkin baggage.

                        I usually have a good timely service through indigo,
                        Hence i choose your flight over others. However, the
                        Tatus of my damaged baggage is worrisome. I do not
                        Wish my flight experience to be marred by the way the
                        Taff loads or unloads checkin baggage.

                        After landing at the chennai airport on 14th oct 2016,
                        From flight 6e 613 (Pnr:yg6qmk), from new delhi,
                        I found my baggage was mishandled and dirty with grease/
                        Black marks all over the suitcase.
                        Upon reaching my residence i saw that the skybag style
                        Uitcase was unable to stay erect as its bottom pvc stand
                        Was broken and the zippers to suitcase's resizeable compartment
                        Were also broken.

                        Indigo's customer feedback also nowhere offers customers to give detailed
                        Review to their entire flight experience from departure to arrival.

                        As a customer i expect my belongings to be well taken care of by the
                        Flight much the same way that you worry about inflight and checkin attendants'
                        Pleasantness. To me its equally or more important that you treat my luggage well.
                        This type of luggage handling is terrible especially when the customer
                        Has fragile objects stored in it.

                        I hope you look into this issue.

                        I have had a similar experience. My Swiss Polo trolley bag when I received it at Kolkata airport was damaged. The extendable handle which is used to drag the bag on its wheels was broken. the entire assembly was broken. Luggage handling has become worse in Indigo now, may cause them to lose customers in future.
                        Indigo baggage handling is famous, I will share Experience of my Sister Neelam, She traveled along with her husband Sunil Singh, (27 Aug 2018 from Varanasi to Hyd 6E 6913, PNR -A8JCUL). On landing at Hyderabad,
                        While they received baggage from the conveyor belt, they were surprised on seeing the condition of Baggage, It was damaged and has patches like someone threw clay on it.
                        When they rushed to indigo helping hands of Vijay Kumar Sharma and Benny they received reply "Indigo couldn't do anything Even though it was a clear mistake and improper handling of baggage". After having further discussion he said “This cannot be repaired but he can offer 500 rs voucher which can be used on indigo site for any of future bookings” .Wow really?
                        First of all the damage was beyond 500 rs, they almost ruined a 3800 Rs 6 Month old American tourist bag .
                        My friends obviously were not interested in travelling to indigo anymore but because they thought if nothing lets even have something for this damage so they asked for cash payment of 500 rs which indigo denied. What kind of solution is offering 500 rs voucher to travel again with indigo?
                        You are making business out of people's loss. Is this some kind of promotional offer .Are you kidding me? BY this logic do tamper all bags intentionally and then offer 500 rs voucher to customers so they have to come back to indigo.
                        You want to encash on customer’s loss and offering a discount coupon of 500 rs which they can only use on indigo site if they plan to travel in next 6 months. This was the biggest joke I ever heard in customer relationship.
                        NO doubt Indigo is sinking and soon customers will treat this as another Air India.
                        I had same issue 2 years back with Air India and after 1 hour argument they reimburse me 500 rs as cash, But I must say Indigo is worse than even Air India.

                          It’s all about the very unpleasent and weird experience we had with indigo when we were about to fly from bengaluru to new delhi.
                          Four o[censored]s had planned well in advance to travel from bengaluru to new delhi and back. Hence had opted for round trip and booked tickets through the cleartrip website.
                          The main intention of early booking was to save our cost of travel.
                          The date of travel was on 10th may 2016 to delhi from kempegowda international airport, bengaluru on 6e 816. Our pnr e721tc & t7v8ts.
                          Previous day of travel we had checked in the flight, selected seats and obtained boarding passes online.
                          The flight 6e 816 was at 5.05 a. M. On 10th may 2016. We were there in the boarding queue by 04.15 a. M. As our check in was done we were confident of boarding the flight.
                          Surprisingly, the staff announced that the boarding is completed and no further boarding shall be allowed. We were along with about 40 passengers for different flights who were not allowed to travel in spite of having boarding pass in hand. There was no clear communication from the staff. We were told that 3 o[censored]s can board except the one who has to carry luggage in the next available flight. After couple of minutes we were informed that boarding time was completed and nobody is allowed to board and asked us to make further arrangements.
                          There were more than 40 passengers approx for different indigo flights who have become culprits of this same issue and i was the only one who has raised voice to enquire what’s happening actually.
                          We were not in the position to drop the tour and finally this fraudulent incident has forced us to book another flight by paying rs. 16, 756/- instantly.
                          We are frequent flier of indigo flights. Because of traffic problems many times we have landed up in boarding the flight even 30 minutes prior to the departure of the flight.
                          We were on time in the queue and the indigo staffs did not guide us properly which amounted to a loss of money and mental harassment in the early morning.
                          I hold complete staff of indigo and the company responsible for this financial loss, mismanagement and mental harassment.
                          I claim an amount of rs. 50, 000/- as damage caused financially and mentally.

                            I book my 5 ticket in indigo (Ahmedabad to delhi on 8th dec) purpose tour with family.. Because of my wife health issue i have to cancel two ticket from 5. So i called customer care and they are told me that if you cancel your ticket. You have to give cancellationcharger 914rs. Per person. They charge half of the ticket amount. If i cancel before two or three days i can understand. But i cancel befor one and half month. Why thay charge high amount for canceltion. Even they did not given any canceltion charges on their website. They given induvidual for every custor by custmor care num.

                              I am at Lucknow aiport and my bag has not been delivered I was travelling thru flt 6E 792 on 12th Oct 2016...on asking the indigo manager mr shailesh is informing that he can't commit anything and is not sure by when my trolley bag will be given to me... I have a train to catch at 11 PM to deoria... He is telling that he can't commit that they will even provide me my bad... They are asking me to leave to Deoria and they want to deliver my luggage from Lucknow to Deoria... The bag has costly items... and important documents... If anything is lost it will cost me high... Also indigo staff is not registering my complaint...

On asking the ground staff and manager Mr. Shailesh Pandey started shouting at me and told that we cannot commit for the delivery of your bag... I have a train to catch at 11 PM to deoria ... As per them I would have to miss the train and they will even not arrange for any delivery to my destination... My bag contains important items which is costly as well as important ... Please help... Flt no. 6E 792 date 12th Oct 2016...

                                I had booked a ticket in indigo 6e-706 on 10 oct 2016 from cochin to delhi (pnr-c7lh8p) through make my trip. on 09 oct on my request another person (my brother in law) made an inquiry to indigo customer care regarding the option of rescheduling the flight one day prior. the customer care executive informed him that it will cost close to rs 6000/ and he promptly said, thank you, no changes to be done. when i reached the cochin airport to catch the flight, i was informed that the ticket is cancelled. i did not know what to do. i had to buy n new ticket paying rs 7955/- to fly to delhi. (pnr bb39vw)
                                On reaching delhi i requested my brother in law to speak to indigo and resolve the issue. my brother in law called the indigo customer care and tried to explain the mistake they ve done. there was no intimation to me regarding any change of schedule or cancellation. the indigo executives were not ready to admit the mistake they ve done and refused to refund the amount i ve paid extra. i would like to lodge a complaint against the airlines for harassing me mentally and causing financial loss.

                                  how can it possible to same name travelers twice in same pnr number .
                                  thats mean its a mistake so which company must to resolve this ..its a serious issue.

                                  I want to complain that today I have Book a Ticket in Indigo Airlines From Kolkata to Hyderabad. My Transaction ID is [protected]. My problem is that although Status of my Ticket is Not Booked but then also money has been deducted from my account. Please Help us. Please Check
                                  I had a flight today morning 8th October 2016, at 5:55 am. My pnr is PNR - I61PFF and was sitting on 21B. I ordered food it was of 300rs. I gave 1000 but did not received 700 back from the air hostess. Please check with the hostess.

                                    I am writing this mail to inform you that I booked a ticket on 18 Jun '16 and the flight departure time was 10:55 hrs but now you have rescheduled the timings 10:35 hrs which is not at all suitable as per my schedule.

                                    please note that I booked this ticket well in advance because i have very hectic schedule that day and I can not bear this time reschedule. Same day morning I have a family function in my home and I have already schedule my time a minute to minute and now you given me such surprised that is now impossible for me to manage.

                                    Requesting you to refund my full booking amount so that i can book flight as per my schedule.

                                    I already discussed the same with your customer care and told him my problem and they told that we will definitely refund the full amount and asked me to drop mail on this email id.

                                      On 2nd October we had a flight to Delhi by Indigo Airlines from Hyderabad shamshabad airport, and here's bringing to you the wonderful experience of meeting two ground staff of Indigo airlines and their foul mouthed language while being on duty at 6 am.
                                      pooja and deepika were on duty on the ground floor of dep 23 A and while we were about to board she blatantly told us that our tickets were invalid? how can they be when the indigo counter staff has issued them?? mis - communication with the seniors appears to be the mistake on their part.they refused to even accompany us to our particular counter for stamping after the matter was cleared and just to add we were the last passengers to board not that we were late but we got late because of the careless attitude of the two staff .
                                      I would like to add that the boasting of Indigo airlines on their part doesnt serve here.decency, courteousness and a honest attitude should be the morals on which they are recruited and trained and as I am working as a pilot with Emirates and am registering a complaint with the Emirates pilots Guild against the two staff I would like you to call for an inquiry against these two girls working and demand as to how they could speak to me and my wife in that tone.they have even further added that we could go and complain to any one and no one will do anything to them??such is the case of indigo ground staff??hearing this from two immature young ladies did the work of making me complain to you .if not taken seriously I will bring in political intervention or take this matter to the press as soon as you can reply.do you have a protocol for the staff to speak this way?
                                      I had similar experience with this staffer Deepika on Sept 3rd 2017 at Shamshabad Airport @ Hyderabad. I filed a formal complaint with IndiGo Airlines. Did you file a complaint with Indigo Air? Did you ever get any response as to what action was taken against this staffer?

                                        Sir, i am willing to draw your kind attention that my daughter ananayaprita banik will be traveling from bangalore to agartala through your flight no 6e 422
                                        . Seat no - c-33 are departure time is 12.15 hour today. A few minutes before i have learned from my daughter that, your concerning authority has charged rs. 2, 300 more from her as over weight of lagged though she had inform that she is a collage student and showed her relevant documents in support her appeal of consideration regarding the amount. But the authority showed no relaxation in this regard.
                                        So i therefore, earnestly appeal to yours end to consider the case immediately and oblige thereby.
