I am appalled with a "brand new" refund processing fee by indigo which is levied on top of the regular cancellation fees, taxes, convenience fees! Etc... (Attached)
Could you kindly clarify what exactly is the refund processing fee!!?? This i feel is cheating and very very cheap way of getting revenue for indigo airlines... Every time you add new fees and inflate the cancellation charges... Stop this extortion and habit of fleecing customer... I will surely lodge a complaint in the consumer court and fight till the end...

    I have booked flight from bangalore to mumbai with pnr u7h29c for my wife, one child and infant and my wife reached the ticket counter at sharp 45 min gap from flight take off time which is pre requisite. See if we were late more than that then security personnel would not have allowed to enter. But still she was said she has to board another flight as already 100 passenger are boarded i did not understand what that mean? I think if airlines are not able to manage the 45 min window and closing the gate early if the get sufficient passenger. Can you please explain whether that seats were not allocated to any body? I am damn sure this would not have been the case. I still remember the time when there use to announcement so and so passengers please board fast, it looks like indigo has got way to make money. I am not happy as my wife have to take another flight and pay the fares difference when my wife reached ticket counter on time. Atleast they should have considered the mother with 2 kids instead of wasting time could have helped her in boarding. I had very good experience with other airlines where the personal instead of talking and wasting time made me boarded flight in 20 min from ticket counter to flight on busy terminal like mumbai.

    I know you are not gonna give money back which i paid as extra fare difference but wanted to bring to your high mangement that your customer will not be happy too long if this will be carry on like this...

      Dear Sir/ Madam, This is a complaint regarding the flight I took with your airline on 23 May/16. I arrived at the airport check-in for my flight to DXB. Having polio on one leg, I requested for a wheelchair when check-in. The check-in staff mentioned that it was last minute and requested that I manage the walk to the plane since it is not far and he will assure the request from DXB airport. On landing in DXB, I was asked to wait for the service till everyone leaves. But after everyone left, cleaning was complete, pax for next trip also started coming in, that's when I got up and left on my own, since the air hostess was unable to assist as well and requested I leave and I will find the service at the airport. I had to walk to the bus a distance and then reach the airport and request for the airport services to arrange one for me. They made me wait 30 min and told me the airline should have arranged for it in the 1st place. This flight landed at 21.20 and I left the airport at 00.10 finally. Considering my disability and many years of travel, I realise I have been thoroughly inconvenienced due to negligence. I want to bring this to your notice, so that another passenger does not face the same again. I would like an enquiry in the same and let me know why this happened. I am aware about the compliance about the standards of basic service towards passengers with disabilities and I would like to know why it was not met. I will look forward to your reply at the earliest.

        There were 5 family members.. Father mothers and their 3 small kids. When they reached at entry gate as they were slightly late by 5-10 min from reporting time which was 3:25 pm and they reached around 3:30 -3:35 and the flight take off timing was 4:10pm.
        At entry gate first they said they will not allow anyone. After lot of request they allowed only 3 members to get inside and leaving other 2. For other 2 they said they will send them in next flight which is after an hour and didnt allow them to get inside.
        When they get back to check about the flight, they got to know that there are no flights at the mentioned time nor any flight later on that day. And later on the simply excused saying we cannot help. This is simply not done. They had their boarding passes with them and they should have been allowed to enter.

        Here the point is if they can allow 3 members, why can't they allow other 2 as well. This would have saved those family members from unnecessary stress and expenses.

        They had their tickets and stopping them at this point simply means these airline is making money with that which is not at all acceptable.


        Ths ws a really terrible and horrifying experience for my family members & it caused a lot of stress and mental pressure. The small kid got separated from mother and was crying like anything.

        Also the father was left out with the kid, mother and other 2 kids were also tensed.

        This should be taken as serious issue and should be addressed immediately.

          I am former Mayor of Ahmedabad, and a frequent traveler by Air between Ahmedabad and Delhi in connection with various engagements. Mostly I travel by Indigo Flights. On 11th May 2016, I had a bitter experience as narrated below.
          I had purchased a confirmed Air Ticket (Booking Reference No. G6UHVS) for travel from Ahmedabad to Delhi by Indigo Flight No. 6E 728. The scheduled departure time was 21:40 hours. As usual, I got my online Boarding Pass and also underwent the Security Checks at the Airport. I reached at the boarding gate 25 minutes before closure of boarding. While waiting at the Airport’s VIP lounge for boarding the cabin, I got engaged in discussing some urgent issues with one of my friends who was also waiting there for boarding another flight. When I noticed that the co-passengers have left for boarding, I approached the Indigo staff on duty for my entry into the cabin. But, to my utter surprise, I was denied entry and told that the boarding got over and the gate was closed. At that point of time, I could see the co-passengers standing on queue at the aerobridge for entry into the cabin However, even after repeated requests, I was not allowed to travel by the same flight. Moreover, there was neither any announcement nor SMS or email regarding the missing passenger with boarding pass before closure of the boarding gate. Also, neither I was accommodated in the next flight nor made any refund against my above Air Ticket. This incident was a real mental harassment for me.
          In view of the above, as there was no other alternative, I had to purchase a very costly ticket for my journey by another Indigo Flight No. 6E 626 which departed for Delhi at 22:50 hours on the same day. All these details can be verified from the flight records.
          In view of the above trauma experienced by me, I request you to kindly look into the above matter seriously and punish the concerned Indigo staff for negligence of duty as there was no announcement for reminding the passengers to board the flight. Also, I request you to kindly arrange for full refund for my above unused Air Ticket.
          Kindly confirm the action taken in this regard. My e-mail id is [protected]@gmail.com and Cell No. is [protected]. An early reply is awaited.
          It is highly pathetic and there are complaints daily about the inhumane behaviours of the Airlines' staff.The Airlines should be sued thro'consumer
          court to get them heavily penalised.People should totally boycott Indigo

            On 29th may 2016 i was having an indigo flight from new delhi to bengaluru at 9:20 a. M, i reached the airport at 8:30 a. M and was waiting in the queue for my turn. Till the time my turn came it was about 8:40 a. M because of which the staff didn't allowed me to board the flight, i told them i reached the airport on time but no one was ready to listen. Here, my question is if they were knowing that counter is will closed by 8:45 at least they should have shown some courtesy to ask the passengers for 9:40 flight to come forward as other airlines do. Not only this the way their staff was talking was also very disappointing, they none of them was polite and because i had to reach here, i had to pay rupees 3121 extra for another flight at 9:40. If the same continues then i don't think people will tolerate this for a long time.

              I travelled by indigo from bhubaneswar to kolkata on 28/5/2016 by 7.55pm flight.
              While checkin, i have handed over my baggage at indigo checkin counter at bhubaneswar.
              After arriving, i didnot get my baggage at the conveyer belt.
              Immediately i have filled in property irregularity report(pir) at kolkata indigo counter.
              They gave me a cell no [protected] to contact for further updates.
              Till date i am calling repeatedly but yet to get back my baggage.

                Yesterday i was having a flight at 9:40 a. M from new delhi to bengaluru, i reached the airport at 8:30 a. M and waited in the queue till my turn. I reached the counter at about 8:40 and the indigo staff didn't provided me the boarding pass. My complaint is if the counte was about to close the staff should have shown some courtesy by making a call and asking the passengers to come forward. Because of this i had to pay 3121 inr extra and not even this i was also disappointed by their way of talking.

                  I did the web check in on 27th May 2016 for the flight 6E - 741 from Lucknow to Hyderabad of 4 tickets 2 adult and 2 children.
                  Complaint -
                  1. There was no separate queue and the counter for the web check in passengers. We were suppose to follow the same queue for a manual check in.
                  2. Around 26 to 28 seats were vacant in the flight on board . I requested the ground staff Swati to just check-in the extra 4-5 kgs of luggage . But her behavior was unexpected . Even her co- colleagues were asking her to do the same but she refused.
                  3. I was carrying some pottery items which was the work of potters I was suppose to display here in Hyderabad.
                  4. I was asked to dump the same at Lucknow Airport as the value of the product was not even equivalent to 1 kg of extra luggage charge.
                  5. She weighed only my hand luggage and did not even weighed the luggage for any other passenger. If its a rule to weigh the hand luggage it should be applied to every body. in my 8 years of travel with indigo airlines never my hand luggage was weighed.
                  6. It was a vacant flight so I requested for the same otherwise I also understand the limitations of the air luggage.
                  7. Flight was delayed by 20 mins. When we can adjust with them, then, in a hospitality industry we can expect some small favors. We don't travel for free so we don't expect any misbehavior.

                    I was traveling to Mumbai to delhi on 25th April with my family including one infant... due to some traffic jam in mumbai i was not able to reach the boarding pass issue centre before 45 min as usually we all do.. my flight was schedule 2:30 pm and i report to indigo receptions on 1:55 pm almost 10 min late... they hadn't allowed us to board the flight... they keep arguing me till 20 min for the same instead of help me to board the flight.. and my ticket was non cancellable... so i had no other options to buy the new ticket for my enire famliy the cancelled ticket and new ticket gave me the slap of Rs.40k... the worst was thier next flight was scheduled 3:30 pm and they started the flight at 3:45 pm without any reason.. may i ask the indigo team if 10 min late can cause general public Rs 40 K. they had delayed the flight for 15 Min how they refund the travelers was on flight of 3:30 including... is there any answer...

                      I have coming from new delhi on 26th may to varanasi fromantic 6e 308 indigo. I have found my baggage has damage. I have meet indoor guys but these guys have not copra with me. I have purchased this bag in may16 (Rs.15500).
                      I am feeling very disappointed and going mental harassment by now.
                      Kindly provide new bags otherwise i forcertainly to go co sumer forum. I am always preferred indigo (More then 6 times travel in 6 month) but this time i am feeling cheated.
                      Plz look my matter and provide compensation.

                        Indigo staff was very rude and did not allow me to check-in the baggage 40 minutes prior to the take off time saying I need to go to next flight. They had ample time to allow me & as a single lady traveler with a connecting Indigo flight to Indore I was too stressed and had to scramble for money for the next flight. I had even done a web checkin with a printed boarding pass in my hand when they just did not allow my luggage to be thrown in.

                        Please refund my money for the Bangalore to Mumbai flight on May 29th 2016 with PNR number QCM2RD. They seem to make money by stopping people who are ready to board and making them take the next flight.

                            On 14/4/2016, mrs. Vathsala mani bought a ticket from indigo counter at sanganer airport, jaipur for travel to bangalore on 6th may, 2016 by 6e556 and return to jaipur on 9th may by 6 e 641. I made the payment by my pnb debit card. Booking reference rhj2mr

                            Thereafter, we cancelled the trip some 3 days before the date of travel. We ere assured that the refund, after cancellation charges, some rs. 4, 000/=and odd, will be credited back into my pnb card account.

                            Till today, this has not been done.

                              On 26.5.2016, my son shashank agrawal, who was scheduled to depart from bangalore to raipur by indigo flight no. 6e-466 (Pnr no. Z59d7y), was refused by indigo bangalore officials on the pretext that he was late despite his repeated requests that he was stranded in traffif jam. He was bluntly asked to cancel ticket & arrange for other alternative arrangement. Consequently, he had to book another ticket for 27.5.16, thereby causing a loss of rs. 9000/-+mental torture+loss of time. This is the inhumane face of indigo!
                              Pray for the compensation/refund of rs. 9000/-+action against errant officials.

                                I was cheated out of 1000 buy the airhostess. After buying and paying for a few items I made the mistake of paying for the last order in advance. I waited for the item to arrive and assumed that it would be handed over after we landed. When we finally landed in Dimapur my mom and uncle deplaned as they in good faith assumed that I would get the item. But to my utter shock and disbelief all the air hostesses on the plane ganged up that I was confused on the transaction. ..that I had already got the item etc. I had paid for and received two of the said items. I wanted a third and paid one thousand in advance. My uncle and my mom are witnesses to this transaction. And God is also my witness. It is only a small amount but this incident leaves a bad scar in my experience with your backstabbing dishonest air hostesses.

Vha k wrkrs humse pese maang rhe the naam aache se yaad nhi naveen tha shyaad or uppr se hume next flight mein bhi nhi bheja.. Worst experience wid indigo

                                    I (Pnr-lelq7x) was suppose to travel via flight no. 6e 693 for indigo airlines on 23rd may, 2016. But it got cancelled... They did not informed us that why the flight had got cancelled... There were no arrangements for room (For staying) nor for food, even there was no facility for water... Airline staff was very very rude... No co-operation from there side... They took 4 hours to return our baggage. I came from ludhiana to have a flight from delhi to pune but it got cancelled... After 3 hours of struggle airlines gives me ticket which was after 8 hours and i was not having any other option to stay so have to sit at airport... No arrangements were there... Pathetic service...

                                      I want to bring to your notice points about my luggage that was wrongly tagged. I took the 6.40 PM flight 6E-538 (PNR-C33M2L) from Kolkata to Hyderabad on the 23rd of May. At the check in counter in Kolkata (if I recall, it was the 4th counter), the lady who was checking me in was in a rush (which should not be the case). When I got my boarding pass, I pointed out that the luggage has not been tagged. She then told it will be done and a new person (lady) came and did the tagging. I saw her doing. However, on reaching Hyderabad, I found the luggage did not arrive. I approached the Indigo luggage desk and someone called Ravi from security was helpful and after taking all details informed the luggage will come next day, the 24th of May. The luggage went off to Nagpur. I kept inquiring periodically on the number they provided ([protected]) on which they responded every time I called. The timing of the delivery changed from afternoon to midnight when the flight will land. That was inconvenient but agreed that they will deliver on 25th May morning by 9 am. I had to buy new cloths from my own money. I called up at 7.30 AM 25th morning on the same number and the person who answered told that this is not the right number and he will give the correct one. However, I told him I was talking to his colleagues on the same number the previous day. Then he told me, he will find out about my luggage and inform me. However, he did not call back and after that, when I called the number, it was switched off even till 9.30 AM (from 7.30 am-whoever had the phone switched it off). I did get my luggage but this was harassment, stress and poor customer behaviour from an indigo staff, who probably does not desereve that job. I don't know what Indigo will do but the trust gets eroded if you have such errant staff in as mentioned in Kolkata and Hyderabad. Otherwise, I would like to thank Indigo's other staff members who were helpful. Also, can I claim compensation for the loss I incurred; though I doubt given the poor record airline companies in India.

                                        I have booked ticket from trivandrum to banglore by goibibo, the right time was 17.05 on 24.05.2016 but suddenly after chekin around 16.40pm they told flight is delayed by 35 minutes...flights original arrival time at banglore was 18.15 but it arrived at 18.50...because of this delay i couldnot catched my air india flight which was from banglore to mumbai at 19.30
                                        So because of this sudden without prior information delay i lost my flight my money and my time..nobody from indigo airline responded and ideally they had to arrange me another flight but unfortunately their response was very poor..
