Dear Concern,

Today morning reached airport at 5.am and reached indigo counter at 5.15am, in front of me one passenger traveling same flight got boarding pass, during my turn to counter they informed me check in closed, check with next counter, I went to next counter that gentleman informed me boarding closed we can't do anything, I surprised within few seconds how it possible??? I need clear feedback as earliest, otherwise We will go for legal action.

    I am a frequent flyer of your company but sorry to say this that for the very first time i am feeling very disappointed by your company staff.

    Sir on 14 june i made a request for cancellation of my two tickets from banglore to delhi dated 25 june 2016 in which three passangers were travelling named as suraj singhal neha singhal and shyam agarwal. i requested the customer care executive to cancel two tickets named as suraj singhal and neha singhal they said ok sir and issued a fresh pnr for shyam agarwal. now today i called indigo regarding the refund process they asked me my pnr no after entering the number they said, sir did you just missed your flight i was shocked i said no sir i made cancellation as i want to travel on 16 of june urgently and their was a fare difference so i booked the tickets from goibibo for indigo flight it self.in response to that he said sir may be you denied to cancel the ticket so i asked him that sir then why dint i receive any other pnr no for suraj singhal and neha singhal more over i dint even receive any sms regarding this 2 passengers i was receiving sms for shyam agarwal only so he said my be sir they forgot to send you the mail and sms.

    Sir i request you kindly check the call recording and all the details i provided to you sir.
    Complaint no generated today is iybuvj.
    Because of your customer care executives fault please don't let your customers pay for that.

      Hi, i am dr. santosh kumar bind was travelling for indigo flight no.6E 308, flight was at 8:55am from new delhi terminal 1D to varanasi, i arrived there at 8:15am due to some emergency reason..they given me boarding pass and did not told that i am late, when i went to gate no.11B, they told i am already late and cant fly now...and cancelled my ticket, , when i came to indigo counter mr.AJIT misbehave with me, so please resolve this problem either return money or adjust my seat in another flight...i already complain in new delhi police station at airport too...

        Dear sir,

        I have booked an air ticket of indigo airlines from ahmedabad to goa & return via make my trip on 17.04.2016. As per the schedule i have booked 4 tickets of indigo for 21.05.2016 from ahmedabad to goa. On the return journey i. E. Goa to ahmedabad, instead of booking for 25.05.2016, by mistake i have booked for 25.06.2016. On the day of booking the tickets are refundable.

        On realization of wrong booking, i have cancelled the 4 tickets of indigo airlines from goa to ahmedabad on the same day and that too within an hour.

        Though the tickets were refundable, make my trip has informed me (Via e-mail) that there is an airline cancellation charges levy by indigo airlines of rs.2, 250/- per passenger (Total rs.9, 000/-), which is not refundable.

        You are requested to inform me about the cancellation charges levied by the indigo airlines for the cancellation of the flight booking. The details regarding my booking is here below;

        We are sorry to read about the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

        Further, in reference to your complaint, we have validated your case at our end and found that passenger had cancelled Goa to Ahmadabad return flight booking for all four passenger and the airline cancellation charges were Inr 2250 per passenger. So, airline has provided us a refund of Inr 2892/- after deducting their cancellation charges. Form our end we had initially processed a refund of Inr 1932/- after deducting MakeMyTrip charges. Now, please be advised that as a onetime service gesture we have processed more refund of Inr 2860/- from our end by waiving off our charges, the same should now be reflecting in your account.

          Nadah khan, one of your indigo support staff at chatrapati shivaji airport, mumbai did not have an ounce of courtesy while talking to my fellow passenger.
          My fellow passenger reached at 7.40am in the morning on 30th june, 2016 for her flight scheduled at 8.20am for nagpur.
          Firstly she was not allowed to take a boarding pass being given the statement from nadah herself, that boarding has already started and she will not be able to provide a boarding pass. Being a frequent traveller of this same flight we know that boarding for this very flight starts at 8 am.
          Moreover when nadah was asked about what can be done as of the, she did not answer and turned her back talking to one her colleagues and did not even pay attention to what my fellow passenger was trying to ask. She was in a hurry to leave, most probably her shift was over and when we asked her to call her manager, she denied saying that there was no one except her.
          I am pretty sure that she wont be the only person handling indigo airlines at such a peak time in the morning at mumbai airport.
          Because of nadah, my fellow passenger was harassed and needless to say the main reason i am writing all this is because nadah could have allowed her on the flight which was extremely important for my fellow passenger to board since she had an interview scheduled.
          I am not sure how you can compensate for this. You might come up with only a justification mail or just a sorry mail which will not suffice. This type of behavior is not expected from indigo staff. Please do whatever you can and take strict action against her.
          What a pity...Indigo Airlines would shut down soon...

            1. I, deepak kumar agrawal had traveled by indigo flight no 6e 405 from hyderabad to coimbtore against armed force concession on 28 jun 16. My pnr no was ibwz4q and total fare paid was rs 2353/.
            2. Though i reached indigo booking counter of hyderabad airport at 6.30 am but due to long que passengers traveling to coimbtore and raipur was called out of turn to issue boarding pass. I was carrying one suitcase to be booked as check in luggage and the other one as hand baggage. However when weight was checked the weight of suitcase was found 17.5 kg and for hand baggage it was 9.5 kg. The lady at the counter did not allow me to carry hand baggage along with me since it was more than 7 kgs. She insisted to book hand baggage as check in luggage and the total weight of both luggage was calculated as 27 kgs ie 12 kgs excess and charged rs 3600 @ rs 300 per kg. I requested her to allow me to carry hand baggage and charge only for excess weight of 2.5 kgs for check in baggage and 2.5 kgs of hand baggage ie total for 5 kgs but she was not ready to listen and asked me to decide fast. Since there was no option left for me and to miss my flight i paid rs 3600/ at the counter against receipt no [protected] dated 28 jun 2016.
            3. It is surprising to note that when i have paid rs 2353/ as air fare for self including luggage charges for 15 kgs as check in luggage and 7 kgs for hand baggage but i was charged rs 3600/ as excess baggage of 12 kgs instead of actual excess of 5 kgs.
            3. It is requested that indigo air lines be asked to refundextra amount of 2100/- charged for 7 kgs hand baggage at the earliest please.

              This is being notice that I have booked multipal travel tickets from Indigo airlines from Mumbai to Jaipur, Jaipur to Chennia & Chennai to Mumbai . Due to some other planning of travailing I asked to Indigo staff to cancel me and my husband's tickets from jaipur to chennai only and give me the details of reshdule of Mumbai to Chennai, the person told me cancellation and reschedule charges of 9k some thing. The indigo staff booked my ticket from Mumbai to chennai without my concern and send me mail that payment is pending . I called airlines that why they book and and charging me now as I am not ready to go.They told me that they have booked ticked without charging me and now I have to pay. Or else if they cancel the ticked I need to pay them cancellation charges. I try to book my complaint against the issue but they are not taking my complain and giving me any complain number .my booking reference number isas below

                This is with reference to my travel dated[protected] from pune to kolkata via bangalore on flight 6e-135 at 14:25 hours.

                I am a frequent flyer of indigo airlines and always prefer indigo because of its good quality service. However, during my last journey, details as mentioned above, i had the worst experience in any airline. I was carrying one check-in luggage (22 kgs), one small hand bag –carrying a quilt (4.5kgs) and a laptop bag (Hardly 2kgs). As per the indigo airlines baggage rules, the passengers are allowed to carry one check-in luggage, one hand baggage as a cabin baggage and a laptop bag as a cabin baggage.

                However, the lady at the airline ticket counter named maariaan (If i remember correctly), a fair lady with a shrewd face, was extremely rude and unprofessional. She compelled me to put both the suitcase (22 kg) and the hand bag (4.5kgs) as checkin baggages and told me that only one laptop bag is allowed as cabin baggage and no extra hand baggage is allowed. I was completely shocked since i travel atleast 20 times a year within india with different airlines and never heard of this new rule. Also since my luggage (22+4.5 =26.5 kg) was more than the weight limit i. E. 15kgs, i was charged an additional amount of rs 3600 (Rs 300 per kg extra for 12 kgs extra weight). I was okay with (22- 15) i. E. 7 kgs extra weight. But, the additional 4.5 kgs was completely unethical and illogical since my hand baggage was used as a checkin luggage. It seems the lady (Mariaan) was more interested to increase my extra weight limit and charge me extra for overweight. (I am not sure whether she gets commission on that or she just wants to harass the passengers).

                Hence i would like to request you to kindly look into the matter and let me know why i was not allowed to carry a handbag along with my laptop bag. Has the indigo airline rule changed and only laptop bag is allowed as the cabin baggage and no other hand baggage?

                I trust indigo will take proper action so that other passengers are not harassed as above and

                Indigo will maintain its reputation and good customer service as always.

                  I didnt knew that indigo has a worst management who doesn't know how to respect there customers... I was going to travel from dubai to banglore... On flight 6e 96... Which was scheduled at 11am... And it is said that the counter will be close by 9;45 am.. I reached by 9:30am... And saw the indigo counters and saw the screen showing flights towards mumbai and trivandrum and the rest of the screens were jst ads.. And then i checkd with the "may i help you?"lady in the airport and she contacted the airport staffs and lead me towards the counter andit was 9:45.. Wen i was presenting my passport and ticket for the bording pass... She said me u were late soory its closed... I was like what the hell... I wasnt wasting my time purposly.. I was searching for the small indigo counter towards banglore from the 500counters in dubai airport... Dey didnt even put a screen saying banglore... And wen i said abt this the lady was like she was shouting for banglore passengers at the last minute... And she said me she jst off the screen by 9;45... How can she say that wen i was dere at the counter at that time and i didnt see.. Am i blind or am i deaf to hear when she shouted.. And as normal i pleaded her as i had university exams after 2 days... And its emergency i had to go and this was 10am now still 1 hour left for the flight to depart which was nt yet landed.. Wen i started pleading she jst turned her face and said its is nt my problem u didnt see the screen... We r strict in rules and regulation (Go to hell the rules and regulation of indigo, if they were strict to rules then the 1st rule of every company is respect customers)... And she said me to take another ticket or travel with some other flights... I lost my temper when she said me sry buy another ticket and come because indigo doesnt refund.. As if i ask abt refunding.. I asked abt the seat i booked..
                  Show some respect to the customers as we r nt traveling free... The money that we have is hard work... As i am a student and same time working... Its nt easy to thing a loss of my 75% salary is gone for this flights ticket... And then they ask me to take another ticket to travel... As if i dnt know that i should take another ticket...
                  To all my brothers and sisters please dont travel this flight...
                  Broad daylight robbery by Indigo Airlines.They are not even ashamed to read this...Spit!

                    This is with reference to my travel dated[protected] from Mumbai to Chennai on flight 6E-549 at 1955 hours. I did a web check in for the flight and printed my boarding passes from the airport kiosk. Following which I sat in the boarding lounge and waited for the boarding to start at Gate no. 9. The boarding time printed on the pass was 19:20 and it was this time when my friend travelling with me went to the staff and checked about the boarding time to which the staff replied that it is yet to start. We waited for 15 minutes but the boarding still didn't start. As I was very hungry I went on to grab something and after a while the boarding started. I was waiting for the cue to end to get in the line and with an eye on the display board. When the cue ended I went on to the staff showing our boarding passes to which I was informed that the boarding has been closed (all this while Chennai was still on display) The staff did not even bother to give a call for the Chennai passengers even when we inquired the staff about the boarding on scheduled time of 19:20 hrs.

                    Ultimately I was not allowed to board the flight which I believe was completely due to staff negligence. There were 163 passengers on this flight out of 161 checked in (including 2 o[censored]s) and we are sitting just in front of them even inquired about the boarding on time at 1920 hours but were informed that there has been a delay without an ETA.

                    Although Mumbai is a silent airport but all the airlines including yours give a shout of the final boarding call, but the staff on duty that day didn't bother to make that announcement. I have the clippings to prove that.

                    The same I had to reach Chennai and hence had to book tickets in a short notice which costed me Rs11000/- plus a lot mental trauma..

                    I request you to look into the matter and take appropriate action immediately.

                      Respected sir/ma'am

                      I am a frequent flier of indigo and i am very happy with the service you provided to my family and especially to me as being a student, but in my last flight (I. E from jaipur to bengluru and return) which is scheduled after 4 hours, i had to face some problems and hope that ingido authorities will solve the problem with positive remarks.

                      Mattter

                      I have booked 2 tickets jaipur to bangalore (And the return) from your website. I have to get to bangalore due the very urgent work. I booked two tickets and all things were correct but due to some error (Human or technical glitch) in date instead of june the same flights were booked for different month i. E. July. When i saw to recheck and print the ticket, i got to know about this error and so i contacted your customer support executive as soon as possible.

                      Being a student i was not in condition to afford new tickets and bear the prices of old tickets also (2 tickets). The customer care executive advised me to reschedule my flight ticket and mail to the authorities regarding this concern giving details and i must file a complaint. Customer care executive advised to tell the matter you were going for and send a mail giving details and they will consider. I would also like to highlight the cost of flight at the time of rescheduling was same at that it was at the time of booking which was confirmed by the customer care executives also.

                      I was going to attend college counselling in bangalore and was accompanying my guardian.
                      I am attaching my counseling details.

                      I am a student and also once i was helped by your support earlier on the same matter, as my family is frequent flier of indigo and such exceptions do happens sometimes, so i wish indigo authorities will look into this matter and wish that you will refund the reschedule charges.

                      Secondly i am deeply saddened by the views of your supervisor regarding the frequent fliers, when i try to explain my situation his exact words was "we don't distinguish between the frequent flier and the new ones" or i just want to ask you that, are we fools that we always choose and trust indigo upon other choice even when we have to pay more, jet airways is much better then yours as they have schemes like jet privilege to benefits the frequent fliers, i am deeply saddened by the views of indigo authorities towards the frequent fliers and would like to raise this issue to the higher authorities, the same issue has been forwarded to mr sukhjit s pasricha (Vice president-hr indigo), mr nitin arora (Manager (Marketing & comm.) at indigo), tribhuvan prakash (General manager at indigo)

                      Hope the concerned authorities will take action and will also refund my rescheduling amount so that my family trust, which has been trusting indigo for more than 5 years will not be broken. We consider indigo members as our family members and hope they consider us the same.

                        My mom veena sood (Age 65) and my aunt subhadara devi (Age 73) were travelling from delhi to bengaluru on friday, flight no. 6e-121. Seat no. 6e & 6f. As flight was delayed by an hour and it was an early morning flight my mom requested for a meal for which we paid in advance. Air hostess denied the meal and told them to purchase separately to which my mom denied stating that we have already paid in advance then why should we pay again. They requested for there meal. Meal was not given even after several requests. Your staff was not having courtesy on how to treat two senior citizens (Women). They were trying cheap selling tactics. My mom was travelling for the first time through flight, in curiosity she asked can't we choose both options tea and juice and reply was very rude, because 10 minutes later same air hostess came said and taunted my mom (Paani toh hum aapko de hi denge jitna chaahe le lo), as we are beggers or your staff doesn't have basic etiquette of respecting elders. Either you tell me what is the action you are taking on this or i will take this issue on social media and consumer forum.

                            This is to inform the indigo management that your staffs at the boarding gate in dubai were highly unprofessional and rude to my daughter, who was travelling all alone to bangalore india for her vacation. She was informed at the gate that her hand carry baggage was excess and she was forced to pay aed. 240 for the same.

                            She clearly said that she does not have any check-in luggage and moreover she can take out the excess and put it in her small backpack however they refused with rudeness. They did even not allow her to check-in her luggage as well.

                            This type o[censored]nprofessional attitude towards the passengers especially kids is totally unaccepted. This happened on 25 jun 16 and the flight number was 6e 96. (Carrier indigo - dubai-bengalore)

                            On a positive note that the check-in staffs were highly accommodating and were professional however that great experience was totally shattered at the gate. I highly recommend the indigo staffs to be trained to behave professionally.

                            Remember you are not the only one who flies people out of dubai. Your indigo experience was pathetic and disgusting. Please take action on the staffs who deal with your passengers in such a manner.

                              I expect that ticket can be transferred for tommmorw if possible or it can be refunded. No follow from your side before check in time.pls make follow up call to ur customer or at least shoot up a message before check in time.                                 My name is ashish bhansali and i was traveling from ahmedabad to bangalore from indigo airlines flight no 6e 531 on 24th june my pnr no i4eu8y, when i landed bangalore airport i went to collect my luggage from baggage belt, i saw my luggage was completely damaged and my clothes & stuff were visible at that time, i went to indigo office in airport first one of the staff his name called elias he was very rude to me and offered me 200 rs compensation & close this complaint, i said i can't go out with this visible bag then he was like i will wrap and give you that bag take and go. I was very upset with his words i paid 6000/- ticket price then can't i afford 200 rs, then i requested them to connect me with your higher authority they called them in front of me only but they took detail from staff and just kept me waiting they didn't call me till i was waiting for more than one hour, then later they called me and one of his executive his name niranjan promised me that company will provide
                                Cab from airport to your home and i took ur complain and personally follow up on that case and in 10 min after that commitment by niranjan i got one more call from indigo office that they can't provide any cab and at the moment we can't do anything i[censored] want to stay at airport only or u can go home we can't do anything, after waiting for more than two and a half hour i came home with that damaged visible luggage.Indigo airlines they always tell that we are very good service provider we are number one etc.. All lie, they just play with people's sentiments they are just duplicate. I seriously felt very bad jack & jones bag worth 3000/- was totally scrapped i paid 6000 for air fair and 3000 for baggage i am just feeling like lost everything, very bad experience with indigo airline, i boarded with lot of excitement & landed with disappointment with brand new damaged bag, thanks to indigo airlines, they should run local bus service not airline company because their staff in airport talks like cheap bus service staff

                                  On 21 june 10:16 pm, i had booked ticked in indigo and rs 5768 amount debited from my sbi account. My transaction id: 6e8c8258473320160621053953. I didnt receive itenary for the same. I told customer care to refund money and till now amount is not refunded. I had even provided my sbi ifsc code details etc but no response received. However its been 4 days and amount is not credited to my account.

                                    I was scheduled to travel on flight no. 6e 109 on the 13th of june from delhi to bengaluru with my daughter. Since we live in noida, i had done a web check in, so that we could arrive in time for boarding. The flight was to depart at 6.20 and i was in the airport baggage drop in queue at 5.30. I told the indigo staff at the entry that i was going on the bengaluru flight, he said, "yes, this is the queue". I presumed that this was the queue for the flight and stayed in the line, though it moved slowly, as there were only 4 indigo staff members manning the counters. I have always seen airline staff calling out the flight numbers and helping passengers move forward, for those who had to hurry. This day, conveniently, there was no mention and when i reached the counter to drop off my bags, the lady, babika without much of a glance said that i was too late and could not board the flight. It was 5.45 after standing in the queue for about 15 minutes!! Boarding gates close 25 minutes before and even without the indigo staff help, i would have still made it, as there was no queue at the security. She asked me to go to another counter and that i would be put on another flight. I did not protest much, as i thought i would just be put on another flight. Only when i reached... Did i realize that this was actually a racket. The lady at the counter seemed to be quite used to passengers coming who had "missed" their flights!! I was told that i would be put on the next flight, but i just had to pay rs16, 800. This was indeed shocking, as i had already shelled out 9, 818 for my actual tickets. So, was my trip to bengaluru cost me rs 13, 300 each! And for what? Since, the government had stipulated that if airlines overbooked, they would have to pay twice the amount as cancellation fee, indigo airlines had conveniently found a loophole and was fleecing the passengers again!! There were quite a few people who had "missed" their flight that day and i am sure indigo airlines made a lot of money that day!!
                                    I finally booked on the flight next day, for which i had to shell out an additional 8, 800 that included a rs 3, 200 "penalty" for each ticket because the airlines had to book me on another flight. I have not heard of anything more ridiculous than this! Apart form this loss, i had to cancel my flybus tickets to mysuru, take a cab back home, all amounting to a total loss of 12, 500.

                                    Apart from the inconvenience caused, i would also like to report the rude behaviour of the indigo staff members.
                                    I have been in touch with a family lawyer who said that i am justified in asking for a refund from indigo or legal action can be taken. What is worse that, on the flight next day, i heard a friend mention how the previous week she was late, reached the airport just 15 minutes before take off and since she "knew" someone working in indigo airlines, she was allowed to go straight to the aircraft without so much as a security check!! What are we doing here, compromising national security?

                                    I think it is the duty of service industries to provide service and not harass the consumers. I expect immediate action to be taken and my money to be refunded. If you need any documents from my side, i can provide them. My passenger pnr is c36m9l

                                      The Indigo Flight no 6E395, Mumbai to Kolkata scheduled departure dated 24th June at 17 hours was cancelled . It creates highly inconvenience to the passengers who booked 4 months before . No passenger book for joy ride, but for some essential works. Cancellation due to any reason shows mismanagement in that Air Lines. The passengers must be communicated at early stage . They should be compensated too.

                                        PNR- UCQS8Q - Jaipur Mumbai - 23.06.2016 & Return Mumbai-Jaipur.
                                        I was denied Boarding Aircraft by Staff at 4.55 am in spite of Web Check in saying the Doors have Been closed and Flight ready for take off before Scheduled time without prior intimation.
                                        In spite of many request I was denied Boarding and was assured to be accommodated in the Next flight at 8.45am.
                                        The Flight Departed at 5.13 am (as per details available on Net and also stated by the Staff.
