On 20.5.16, i was supposed to travel with my wife & two children (Total 4 passengers) from delhi to mumbai via 6e-175 flight which was scheduled to departure at 13.10 hrs. When we arrived airport at 12.40 hrs. After showing id proofs of all four passengers, i asked one of indigo staffs whether we would be able to get the flight or not. He replied that we will get the flight easily. But when we reached the counter of indigo airlines at 12.48 hrs., he refused to issue the boarding passes saying that the security gate no. 6b was closed. He then asked us to take the next flight by paying the difference of fare. My entry time of 12.48 hrs. On the counter to get the boarding passes is registered in the computer. However as per his advice i choose the next flight (Flight no. 6e-191 at 16.55 hrs.) by paying the difference of rs.63, 812/-. It had caused a lot of inconvenience to me & my family. It is came to know that the flight no. 6e-191 was not fully occupied. There were 5 seats lying vacant. We would have easily accommodated in indigo flight 6e-191 without any extra fare.

This is a clear case of harassment and extortion.

Same issue here they had such long queue at the check in counter and they didn't let us check-in saying we are late, when it is their fault not to inform us that they are closing the counter. when reached the counter the staff working made us wait and then said check in closed just now. Then we were asked to take the next flight by paying 59000INR which is ridiculous. we were literally mugged by these [censored]s. Shame on you indigo go [censored]rself...

    I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue, I regret to inform you that the IndiGo luggage/bag handlers and other staff at Raipur Branch/airport of your office is not rendering satisfactory services to its customers. I have been a regular indigo customer for the past 5 years.

    On 20May16, I traveled on your Flight No. 6E-384, Booking Reference: C7CMYC, Numeric Booking ID:[protected] with my 5 yrs kid, Avanish Khare from Hyderabad to Raipur. Upon my arrival, I proceeded to the baggage claim area. There I found my VIP SPACELITE STROLLY 360, 4 Wheel Spinner luggage, Dimensions (75 cms) - 47 X 32 X 80 and was thoroughly dismayed to see that it was badly (Major) damaged ENCLOSED PIR Report for your reference . What happened to my suitcase I’m sure was not typical. It looked as if it had been run over by a truck.

    I am very unsatisfied with your service and policy, even they have no maturity that how to discuss / deal with Leady Customer having 5 yrs.’ old kid. Even no one is ready to take responsibility and no manager are available and interested to solved my issue, they offer me 1000 Rs to me as I am beggar and the situation is very embarrassing for me. However, none has been able to get proof of such events.

    I just want to ask one thing as a customer that is this what you claim a better service or is this your normal way to treat your customers who have shown such a faith on you guys and spent their hard earned money on your airlines with a belief in your organization. This whole episode has been very disappointing and disheartening!!

    Needless to say I did not expect this type of service, and resultant damage, from your company. I do expect immediate replacement of my. I also expect that you will speak with the ramp personnel responsible for the damaged condition of my personal property. Travelers select the carrier to travel on.
    And as per The Consumer Rights Act, which came into force on 1 October 2015, says that the retailer is responsible for the condition of the goods until the goods are received by the consumer, or by someone else they have nominated to receive them on their behalf like a neighbor.
    I do hope and believe that you would take an appropriate action so that customers like me do not face such issues and above all do not loose the faith in IndiGo.

      I reported at 0455 hrs on 21.05.2016 Indigo counter airport for take boarding pass and my flight departure sechedule is 0535 hrs, but the counter denied to issue boarding pass for journey from delhi to imphal and I loss important work and ticket fair . If any suggestion to get money or another indigo flight on next day in the same amount may be provided to me

        On 08/05/2016, products worth 9000 were cargoed from Agartala to Delhi vide AWB No.[protected].On receiving, the following commodities were found broken and irrepairably damaged: 1)Induction cook top 2)Microwave based bowl 3)Plates 4)Wall clock(1each in number).careless and rash handling by the staffs led to the damage inspite of proper packing by professionals.Also I didnot get any phone call from the airlines upon arrival of the cargo at Delhi.I called myself and found that my cargo had already reached day before and I have to collect it on the same day i;e09/05/2016.From the next day I will be charged extra.So, had to run to the cargo terminal and collected my articles at 10p.m.Rough handling coupled with late communication has caused me incredible harrassment.I seek appropriate and early compensation for the damage.Kindly intervene and expedite.           Following an emergency, i was to travel to guwahati by indigo flight 6e939 (Del-guwahati) along with my family on may 20, 2016. Pnr: p7q4gc and a416vl. Despite being issued boarding passes and completing the security check - in 45 min prior to departure i. E. 7:45 am, we were not allowed to board.
          We were right at the boarding gate 10b with the display board still flashing "final call", but the rude staff did not let us in despite several requests.
          As it was very urgent, i had to shell out r 19990 extra, to get tickets for the next available flight.
          I wonder if the indigo management would bother to care about the discomfort and financial loss suffered by me and my family and consider to refund the extra money i paid for absolutely no fault of mine.

          I still am optimistic and expect a quick response.

            This morning, my wife was booked on a flight from pune to kolkata non-stop at 6:05 am. I dropped her off at 5:25 am at the airport. After the id proof in gate, she was at the counter of indigo airlines by 5:30 am. She was carrying only a cabin luggage. Nothing to check-in.Indigo staff didn't give her the boarding pass as she was not present at the gate 45 mins before departure.

            The flight has not started boarding! She had no check-in luggage. It would have not inconvenienced the indigo staff one bit to give her a boarding pass.Instead the sold her a 14, 000 ticket on 2:20 flight to kolkata via bangalore.

            This is a clear case of harassment and extortion.

              I would like to complaint against the indigo airlines and its staff for rude and unethical behaviour causing lots of mental trauma and financial loss during my journey. I was travelling from mumbai to cochin on 17th may evening on an emergency as i had lost my father and had to reach kerela on an urgent basis. I was travelling with my 4 year daughter and elder sister. Grief striken and in a very sad state of mind. We had checked in early and got the boarding pass. The airport was full with passangers and no space to sit. We were waiting for the flight announcement which was not made. When we realised that the queue for boarding is not moving. We went in front to check with the indigo staff and they said that the gates are closed. They did not call our names or any announcement made. We pleaded for help as this was an emergency situation and asked to speak to the supervisor, however we were very dissapointed at the supervisors behaviour instead o[censored]nderstanding our case and helpding us. She was very rude and started arguiing with us and told us to go and find another flight. There no empathy shown to a single lady tyring to attend her fathers funeral not any attempt made to help us find another flight or to resolve the issue. The flight was not taken off, so as a special casse they should had accomodated us. We were also forced to surrender our boarding pass as they did not allow to leave the check in area to book another ticked wiyhout surrendering the boarding pass, as we had already checked in our baggages. We had to take book another flight to calicut instead as there was no other flights for cochin availalble. We lost the flight charges for indigo and had to pay lot more for a urgent ticket for calicut. We had also booked a cab from cochin airport whic had to be cancelled, we had to travel alone from calicut airport to pallakad at mid night with a small child. This not only caused financial losses but also mental trauma and i will be filling a legal case against the airlines. As i know this complaint will not serve its pupose and there will be no action taken. The case i will file to ensure no one ever goes thru this trauma as i did,

              What a worst service . On every 10min we are receiving a message of further more delay. What rubbish at least this should be informed 1.30hr prior of flight time .

                I refer to my indigo itinerary and travel certificate procured from indigo website, for the travel i undertaken on 18th april 2016 by air, from srinagar to mumbai. Please note, i wanted to have bifurcation of airfare charges, as i won’t be able to claim lts from my employers, which includes base fare, fuel charge, cute charge and agency commission payable to travel agents.
                Indigo is charging rs. 200/- per passenger to issue travel certificate. I have purchased three certificates paying rs. 600/- from their website. But to my disappointment, the same format of invoice was sent to me.In spite of my repeated request, i have't received the same. And indigo customer center executives told me i cant get fare invoice in detail.

                Please help.

                  Dear indigo,

                  Just to let you know about your policy and staff behavior. I have booked flight from bangalore to ahmedabad at 6.15 am for 7th may, 2015. My pnr number is j5m5fv. Becuase of heavy traffic at airport and there were only few counter was working from indigo big queue was there. By the time i reached to the counter i was 2 min late for boarding time. As per indigo person has to reach atleast 45 min before and i was there with my pregnant wife 43 mins before.

                  Even though these people had not allowed me to check in. I requested them multiple times as i have to reach ahmedabad any cost that day.Instead of helping they were routing us to from one counter to second counter and finally asked us to take next flight.

                  They have not called also as other flight people used to do. When i asked about same they said bangalore airport comes under silence zone. But other flight people like air india they used to call in same airport only.

                  There were almost 10-15 family who had missed their flight because of indigo people inefficiency.

                  Finally, i had to book next flight from indigo as it was urgent to travel. New pnr is j5m5fv. I paid 9000 extra for this and earlier 10, 000 paid. So it costs me around 19, 000 rs for one way flight for two people.

                  If you have observed boarding pass, it says person has to reach before 25 mins of departure. It is no where written about 45 mins then how one can know about 45 mins. They should have communicated well in advance if there are any changes.

                  I want my all money back as it is fault from indigo people. If this is continue then very soon, indigo will be sued.

                  Just to clear your doubt, 25 mins is the timeframe for the "boarding gates" to close (which is obviously strictly not followed in all cases). And for "check-in" at the counter (like for issuing the boarding pass), the timeframe is 45 mins before departure.
                  And I agree, Not allowing the passengers who are just few minutes late at the check-in counter, is not right. Indigo tries to show to be way more punctual when actually its not that perfect either.
                  Few of the times, they make us wait for boarding even past the departure time.
                  I also feel, indigo only believes in making money.

                    Im complain that 2 hours i was waiting inside of airport and people are saw me. I was waiting in line for a registration. Go fly... But when i reach to that people they told me that i be come late they are close before 25min and still they was there. I come to them 4:49 and they was speaking so bull. And make me missing my fly... Later on they told. Me that book new ticet for next fly for 8am. For 8.000 rupy and like making fun.. Where is the respect? What kind of people they are. Or they did becouse im not india or what? Even i called the office no one is know the english everyone speaking hindia.. How i have to complaint?

                      Theft is how I define their surge pricing. Because of their staffs ignorance, delays, arrogance and rude behaviour, my wife and me couldn't catch the Delhi to Ranchi Flight (6E 493). Indigo's surge Pricing (read 'theft' / opportunistic pricing) cost us Rs. 28000 for the next Flight (6E 501) whereas, our earlier flight tickets were only Rs. 8000. Their Staff's (in particular Sufia Khan, Saurabh and an old Punjabi Lady) rude behaviour, arrogance and pathetic service is no better than an autowala.
                      I want my every penny back from them and their staffs to be removed immediately. I am also very sure that their staff are taught to delay customers so that they miss their flights and then delay further to help their surging policy. I am also very sure that their staffs are paid incentives for the same.
                      By the way, this happened at the Delhi Airport.

                      Indigo Airlines — Was denied flight ispite of repprting well before scheduled time.

                      The officer in the check in counter simply denied flight in spite of reporting well before scheduled time. Sheria, the indigo officer wasted time himself in urgeument. This happened on 29th Sep.

                        My family had a ticket from singapore - chennai - hydrabad dated 21april 2016 pnr t9htym and hydrabad raipur pnr qfjj2e dated 21st april16. We were not given through check in from singapore as we had to clear the customs/immigrations in chennai which i understand as per government laws. But in chennai i asked them to through check in up to raipur they refused saying that you have separate pnr's and layover time is more then 2 hours so we cannot give through check inn. Stupid policy and system not designed correctly.

                        Again same passengers were travelling from raipur - mumbai - goa with separate pnr with lay over time of 1.30 hours then also they were denied through check in. Fail to understand the policy as all other airlines are happily and comfortably giving the through check in. The raipur mumbai pnr was yhclne and mumbai goa pnr was cb3k6q dated 11th may16. Most stupid policy just to create inconvinience to guest. Fail to understand the policy. Await your reply. I have stopped booking indigo till i get clarification or solution for the same.

                          Dear indigo,
                          This is to inform you yesterday that is 16th of may i had a flight around 7:40 pm in night and my flight number was 6e-963. But unfortunately i reached your indigo counter around 7:05 its was 10 minutes’ delay due to heavy traffic in delhi but your executive did not allow me to go to the gate from where i have to board to aircraft even i know rules that gate from where you have to board would be close before 25 minutes of flight depart. But he did not consider my problem as i was coming from kanpur and my train sangam express was late more than 5 hours. Even i requested a lot as i was returning from kanpur to buried my father due to heart attack he was expired but he had no mercy on me further he send me to different counter where i have to purchase new ticket for another flight that was 8:35pm departure time, flight number 6e-131 but thrice schedule timing revised and flight took off around 12:00 am in the night i have to wait more than 3.3 hours. I only want to convey here that rules and regulation for passengers only not for indigo. Here i lost 5 thousand rupees only for 10 minutes’ delay whereas indigo flight was late around 3.3 hours. My flight depart time was 10:40 and i have boarded on flight on right time.
                          But pilot reached on flight very late around 1.5 hours and took off 12 :00 am in the night.
                          I want to bring into your notice since 6 years i am fond traveler of indigo airline i liked that much but this pathetic incident broke me believe on indigo. There months before i encounter same incident which i was traveling from go air and i reached 10 minutes late to the counter but they understood my situation and permit me to board. I request you please be flexible for the passenger who has worst situation and please return my 5 thousand rupees which i paid for another ticket. As i will be obliged to you.

                            Hi Team,
                            This is not as simple as you people think it is.
                            I am writing the complete detailed story of what had happened, So kindly go trough the email thoroughly because after this I will raise the complaint to DGCA.

                            So What Had Happened on the[protected].

                            Time 0410 hours.
                            My parents along with my sister reached check in counter.
                            They were told to wait for the check in, as the Security Person said that FIRST people whose flight is at 0505 hours will check in, followed by 0510 and 0515.

                            So my parents reached at the counter at 0430 hours.(20 MINUTES DELAY, ALTHOUGH IT IS CLEARLY MENTIONED THAT THE CHECK IN COUNTERS ARE OPENED 2 HOURS BEFORE THE FLIGHT TIMING, SO WHY THEY WERE MAID TO WAIT).

                            Then when they reached the counter the lady asked for the Credit Card, I had booked the ticket for my parents two months before
                            AND I HAVE PAID OF THE BILL FOR THE CREDIT CARD.
                            So my parents did not had the card and the staff there did not helped him, INSTEAD THEY ASKED HIM NOTHING CAN BE DONE, YOU GO TO THE BOOKING COUNTER AND BOOK FOR NEXT FLIGHT.

                            I had booked the return ticket for 18891 and she was asking to pay 17000/- for a flight at 0240 hours, after the adjustments.
                            I HAD CHECKED THE PRICE THAT TICKET FOR THREE WAS FOR 15147/-, So this is not acceptable.

                            Now my parents were left with 15 minutes, to provide the card no,
                            Even I spoke to the lady that If you want to verify the details please let me know,
                            I am the owner of the card, THEN SHE CONFUSED ME SAYING THAT WE HAVE SENT YOU A MAIL AND EVERYTHING IS WRITTEN INTO IT.
                            I thought she had sent something to verify for the card, BUT WHAT SHE MEANT, STILL I DON'T KNOW.

                            SO earlier what all she wanted was the Credit Card No, I gave the card no at 0448 hours and then she said the counters are closed.

                            Now Few Queries are there If you can answer:

                            1) If my card is lost an hour before the travel, that In that case what is to be done.
                            2) I have traveled many a times and my brother has also traveled with INDIGO only, Not EVEN FOR A SINGLE INSTANCE CREDIT CARD DETAILS WERE ASKED.
                            3) ALL OTHER COMPANIES ASK FOR CREDIT CARD DETAILS IN CASE OF INTERNATIONAL CARD, THEN WHY INDIGO ASKS FOR DOMESTIC CARD.
                            4) IF MY PARENTS WERE ASKED TO WAIT FOR 20 MIN THEN WHY THE HELL INDIGO WILL NOT WAIT FOR THEM AT-LEAST 3 MINUTES.
                            5) The employee are their to help the passengers are lure out money from them, The lady did not tend to help them instead asks them to go to this counter and that counter, speak to manager.
                            6) My father is an Employee of INDIAN AIR FORCE does that need any other verification.WHO THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE TO VERIFY A SOLDIER OF THE COUNTRY.


                            I booked the tickets 2 months before to reduce my bills on travel and ended paying 14000/-


                            Because of your verification I lost 14000/- then I had booking for 2 days in hotel for 3000/-

                            My time that I have lost in writing to you people.
                            My parents time and humiliation and leave days that My parents had taken to visit me.


                            I am currently asking for the money that I had given to indigo for one side fare.

                              I have earlier wrote to you a complaint on 27-Apr-16 which I'll paste below after my recent query.

                              My pnr # q9fc5j.

                              After a frequent request to Go indigo airline and writing to this forum and other consumer care forum. I have been refunded Rs. 8362 in the form of indigo voucher and 1500 re-funded to Yatra of which Yatra deducted all possible way and all I got was RS.675.

                              I accepted the offer because they said it's out of one time gesture.

                              But later I learned from a friend that if it is a medical issue I should be re-funded the entire amount of Rs. 17, 472 as booked from Yatra.

                              I showed the staffs that we had medical issue and that my mother is operated few days ago before the journey of which she was requested to rest for 2 months so she needed to return home but our plea was not heard. I have the medical documents of the operation.

                              It was just a matter of 5 minutes and if they have heard us I wouldn't have to make my mother return back and wait until I book another flight of Rs. 30000 which was slap on our face financially and health wise.

                              Please reconsider my request and help me get the rest amount Rs. 7565 which may be lesser as booked from Yatra as cash refund and let the previous voucher as it.

                              This is with regard to our pnr # q9fc5j.

                              We were in the airport at 4 am and our flight timing is 5:30am. We entered at 4:30am but entrance queue was long and even in the counter was long queue. So, while waiting and when our turn came its 4:50/55 which wasn't our fault if the queue was long, then they would have prioritised the 5:30 am flight and while we were in queue why was our rejected and it's not that we came at 5:00 am and above but while waiting it's 4:50am. Then they refused to accept our report and then i spoke with the manager but he was such an arrogant, with bad attitude.

                              There was a girl to goto manipur in different flight but she was way behind us but she got her flight but we were refused, while we went to complain the time was just 4:55am which shows we were in queue for just 5 mins.

                              Now if they have just let us in rather than creating an issue we wouldn't be missing even our flights, as the flight will take took in the next 30 mins which they don't create issue we will be able to board the flight.

                              Such behaviour from indigo wasn't expected as i and my family have been travelling to and fro, for ages.

                              I want a refund for the same as i don't wana bear a lost because of no support received from the staff and the unconcerned manager, who lied that there only two passenger. They are the main reason for us missing the flight while having us standing.

                              Since it was just a matter of 5/10mins wait in line an exception should have bren taken up. This the end of me flying with indigo"

In spite of my speaking to customer care he told that ur refund of cancelled ticket will be credited in your account but my refund amount is not received till date. Please send the refund at the earliest...
                              Dear sir/madam

                              I availed ticket namely Mayur Kumar Chaudhary booking reference no GBQGND dated 10/10/2015 from Varanasi to Jaipur. But due to some personal reason i cancelled my ticket on 09/10/2015. Ticket was cancelled on same day at varanasi airport and staff of your company said me that refund amount will be send on your account in 07-10 working days, but there is a month to go my refund amount will be not credited in my bank account. I speak to your customer care she said that your refund amount is credited in your account on 09/10/2015. Truth is that my refund amount is not back in my account. She said me check ur account and i said to her i checked my account today too. Refund amount is still pending at ur end.

                              So, please solve my problem as soon as possible

                                am seated on 28D seat . am put my tab infront of my seat. i forget to take it from the flight. could you please take a necessary action.
                                on that day, that means on 2nd may 2016 that is my first flight journey.am totally excited on that day.

                                I had reached Bengaluru International Airport on 14th May, 2016 at 4.10 PM and was waiting in the Queue for obtaining the Boarding Pass of Indigo Airlines Flight No. 6E 469 departing at 5.20 PM. My Booking Reference Number is R854PC booked on 07th May, 2016 Travelling from Bengaluru to Jaipur with Payment status as Complete. They denied me from obtaining the Boarding Pass and thus not allowing me to Board the Flight and assured me that I can Board the Next Flight at 11.20 PM. Now they are asking me to pay Rs. 6000/- extra for allowing me to Board the next Flight to Jaipur. This type of Loot they are doing Please take action against the Company to safeguard the rights of the Consumers.

                                Indigo Airlines — Broken,tampered luggage

                                On Indigo airlines flight from Mumbai to Bangalore on 01 Nov. 2015, upon receiving the checkin luggage on the belt, it was observed that the zip was severely tampered, broken requiring major/expensive repair costs.

                                  I have traveled with INDIGO several times and I am completely happy with the overall service offered compared to other Indian airlines.

                                  On the 9th of May I traveled form Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai Flight Number 6E 39 with my wife Deepthi and two daughters Avantika and Ashreya ( Ticket Attached)

                                  I purchased a Swiss Military Pen, A Passport Holder and a Vanity Organizer Pouch and didn't get the time to open it during the flight.

                                  I opened these items when I reached home. To my utter shock and dismay I found the pen rusted!!! (Photos Attached) and the black pen cover had peeled off as well.

                                  I did not expect such a experience from a reputed company like INDIGO at all and it has tarnished all the positiveness about your company.

                                  This also made me wonder if INDIGO ever checks the quality of the inventory of the sky shop item on board.

                                  I demand an immediate replacement of this pen and let me make it clear I do not want a refund, I WANT THE PEN TO REPLACED.

                                    We were to board indigio flight 7.40 this morning.we checked in 45minutes before.we were standing in front of the allocated boarding gate.the display of that gate was not working as told by security officer there..those people stopped boarding long before.6 of have missed the flight.n ground staff was very rude, noncooperative, particularly Mr, ajit zha -supervisor. Mr abhishek assistant manager nr kawaljeet security officer..very rude behavior..

                                      I samir kumar henry had booked a flight on 7th april.The amount was deducted but the ticket was not booked .on complaining to the customer sevice they told us that the amount of Rs.44304/- will be returned within 10 days .they provided us with a citrus id and on showing to the bank they told that the amount was not received in my account .the bank logded a complaint and gave us the complaint id T[protected].It has been 1 month and the amount has not been returned in my account.the pnr number iz IDKBWN.
