I had to travel from bangalore to delhi on 6th april 2016 via indigo 6e 132.
Flight departure time was 06:05 am.
I have been always on time . That day due to crowd, i reached at gate no 19 at 5:46 . On announcement board, it was mentioned final call, when i reached at gate, it was closed .
There were 5 passengers with me who reached at this time .I requested the indigo staff to open and let us because there were 20 min left. But that lady rather than taking us to gate, started taking us to reservation desk and said we need to go to next flight . It was 5:50, i urged her not to take us that side . But she didnt listen and started telling for next process, " pay extra and come bye next flight" .
When i reached to reservation desk, there was still time left in departure of the same flight .. But they didn't listen .
And charge for the next flight was more than double of previous flight.
I had no choice and i had to book another .
My next flight was at 9:45 am . I had been sitting at gate number 16 for 3 hours . I was observing other airways on the same gate . 8:45 am, jet airways gate was open even when 5 min was left in departure and second thing there were few passengers were late while checking in, jet airways staff called them and asked to run and made them to get in .
Now, it was indigo's turn for 9:45 departure .
First point : gate was opened at 9:16am .
Second point : it was opened till 9:43 am because there was no emergency passenger case.
Same airways was behaving ridiculous..
While my return trip that is on 11th april 2016 . I took some pictures as well for proof ..
I had this worst experience in indigo airways . I have decided not to travel for such disrespect airlines.
I want to take this complain at higher level because it might be easier to earn money in dishonest manner but it matters for honest people.
Provide a solution because i will stop until i get one..
