Me and my husband were travelling from hyd — > vzg 5pm flight. I was newly wed and had that rice thing tied to my waist to take it to in-laws place. And i'm not supposed to go back to my home once ritual takes place.

We both were on time for the flight, came around 4pm but we forgot to check in as we were rushing.Indigo staff did not let us check in to get the boarding pass claims that we are late said almost 100times. We were not late we were there before 1 hour for the flight. Stupid lady called her manager and that manager came and said they cannot put us on next flight also until next day evening that too for a charge. He also kept on saying 1hour coming early is so damn late. They kept saying flight is full. How can it be full when i have my tickets confirmed and i already paid freaking 5000rps for 2 o[censored]s. If i had not checked 24 hours early means, that we don't show up. They should at least wait until half hour before selling our flight tickets to some high price at last moment.

They sold our tickets to some for high price and they said flight is full and cannot put us 2 in the flight that we bought paid tickets for.

I really hated that guys so badly i never cursed anyone that bad. Because of the ritual i cannot go to my home, so we are left with no option except paying 30k for 2 tickets in spicejet. Spicejet guys are so considerate never had any problem with them. They also confirmed that we don't need to check-in for flights in india hours early. They would rather prefer/care for people showing up on time. One hour early is more than enough to get a boarding pass.

Indigo people sold our tickets to someone else how could an airline do such mean thing?? Common. With such kind of service they won't survive for too long. I need immediate attention on my request and please try to change such kind of arrogant behavior and stop doing such mean things to customers.
Need immediate attention on this Indigo guys. Seen these kind of similar complaints from a lot of people.

    Indigo staffers named: Gurprit, Wilbur and Anupam at Kolkatta airport, first spoke very rudely to me and stopped me by saying that visa on arrival for Thailand is not available for 30 days but for 15 days only! They didn't even try to verify the information. They just said that either I buy another ticket of previous date or else I should leave!! They charged me almost 9000 more for the new ticket and than reduced my trip by 2 days! When I reached immigration, they confirmed that visa on arrival in Thailand is available for 30 days! When I conveyed the same to the 3 (above mentioned) indigo staffers, they goaded me and said that I can do whatever I want, they will not listen and that I can complaint to anyone I want but no one can do anything against them! Is this indigo staff or a gang of thugs??? I am bound to take a legal action against indigo, as their staff has given me false information and charged me money fraudly!!
    And now I even have to pay extra for flying back to Bangkok on 22nd's night and also pay for the charges for cancelling all the bookings for 23rd and 24th!! Really disgraceful!!

      As soon as I return, I will lodge a legal complaint against Indigo airlines, as their staff gave me wrong information and looting me by charging nearly 9000 extra as well as reducing my trip days. The visa on arrival for Thailand is available for 30 days (also confirmed by immigration people) but the indigo people didn't even check that information but just gave me ultimatum that either I should buy a ticket of earlier date or I should leave!

        The staff at Kolkatta airport harassed me like anything. They spoke very rudely, like I am a downcast beggar! They said that Visa on arrival in Thailand is available only for 15 days!! When it is mentioned clearly on the Thaiembassy website that a person can get visa on arrival for 30 days! Not only I had to pay extra 9000 INR but also had to cut short my trip by 2 days as they weren't even ready to verify whether visa on arrival is available for 30 days or not! I will never travel again with Indigo, really had the worst experience I can possibly imagine! The staff is the rudest staff ever and ignorant as well! I will purvey as much as I can about the rude and unprofessional behaviour of Indigo staff on social media as well as all the people I meet!
        I will lodge a legal complaint against indigo airline as soon as I return!! Even the immigration people have confirmed that visa on arrival is available for 30 days!!

          I travelled from bagdogra to Delhi on 5/4/16 in flight no 6E 472 in name of Shanti modi Jain with an infant . the allowed cabin baggage to me was 7+7 KGS. But I was only allowed a single bag of 7 kg to cabin n the rest of the baggage was checked in due to which I had to pay 5000/- extra for excess baggage. If I had been allowed another 7kg baggage to cabin I would have paid less for the excess baggage. Kindly look into the matter as i was not allowed the extra cabin luggage with my infant and would request for a refund of the same.

            Subject: Broken lock of travel bag.

            The Lock of my bag has been broken and it became useless now!! ALSO IT IS OBSERVED THAT THE BAG WAS UNSEALED where according to regulations, it is mandatory!!!
            I request you to provide me either new bag or proceed for Refund. Consistently taking follow up from 4th of April but still have no response.

              Please refer to transaction no: ig0btlozz5 made on useless indigo app at 19:54 for an amount of rs.10814.00 for booking of e-tickets of two passengers. After the transaction was made money was deducted but no email no reference id and no booking was done from indigo app, just screen went blank. Now this email is to remind you refund the amount back with immediate effect.

                I am Dr Muffazzal Rassiwala working at delhi.I was scheduled to board flight 6E-161 from IGI terminal 1 .Due to being stuck up in a major surgery i reported 5 minlate for the check in closure at 10:30 on the airport.I immediately requested the ground manager to kindly consider the situation as i was going ahmedabad for a medical camp and my crew had already reached ahmedabad earlier.However inspite of showing my hospital ID card and reason for been late the manager refused to help and asked me to board next flight in the evening for which again i purchased a new ticket.I finally landed up in evening flight at 18:25 and reached ahmedabad and all my patients had to suffer due to lack of compassion of one person responsible. My request to you is either stop calling your airlines as very good in service provider because such incidents prove that your staff is only trained to follow rules and not to help any passenger in case of trouble.When i was talking to your manager the boarding gates were open and he could have granted permission as i didnt have any luggage at all also to carry with me .But rather then being passenger friendly your airline choses to be hard on rules and regulations for just a five min delay .Moreover your online status shows that flight departure was at 10:56 AM instead of scheduled 11:10 AM. kindly provide reason that why did such an incidence occur and is the passenger always at fault as per your rules.

                  Hi,

                  My parents traveled by indigo airlines 6e 769 on 31st mar lko-pnq on above pnr. They pre-booked and confirmed their seats (3e, 3f) but at the time of check in the staff who issued boarding passes changed the seats (9b, 9e) without any request or consent of the passengers.

                  My father asked the counter staff if the seats were together since they are senior citizens, he confirmed the same only to find that it was not true. Both the seats were middle seats and in completely different rows altogether.

                  This has caused a great inconvenience for my old parents throughout their journey from lucknow to delhi to pune.

                  I have attached the scanned copy of the e-ticket and the boarding passes for clarity on the issue.

                  I need to know why an airline of such repute can cause such a lapse in - customer service specially when we pay thousands of rupees for our travel, and that too for senior citizens.

                  I would definitely rethink about using indigo services for my future travels.

                  Extremely dissatisfied on this issue.

                    I lost my wallet in airport... How do you people think a person can manage not to eat for the whole day... Very horrible experience i had today while traveling in indigo airlines... I will definitely avoid using your services from next time...
                    And once again, i would.Suggest my family and friends not to take your services... Profit motive is not the only thing that is important... I traveled today from 10 to 3.30... Non satisfaction of customers will harm you very badly...Remember...

                      Incident:
                      I booked ticket for 5 passengers in flight 6e 755 from delhi to mumbai on dated 02 april 2016 at 16:00 hrs (Pnr: hffd9e, xcb7wt). Baggage was dropped at around 15:00 hrs and i started for security check. Unfortunately, my daughter started vomiting and this leads us to become late at security checks. Moreover, there was a long queue at security check.
                      Indigo representative called up me at 15:43 hrs and told that now it is 15:41 hrs and you have to report us at 15:45 hrs i.E. According to him i have to reach there in 4 minutes. I reached there in 4 minutes but they not allowed me to board in the flight.
                      Indigo representative told me that you have to take another flight with new ticket and airport and other taxes will be refunded to you.
                      I boarded the flight 6e 197 at 19:30 on the same day with new tickets.
                      I called up customer care for refund and he refused to refund any amount for the same.

                      Concern/complaint:
                      1. Why i was misguided about remaining time to board the flight?
                      2. Why i was not called earlier to report through pas?
                      3. Why customer care refused to refund taxes?

                      I sincerely request indigo authorities to refund my flight ticket fare. It is my hard earned money.
                      I am totally disappointed about indigo services and this behavior to costumers and this way indigo cheating customers.

                        My travel today i.E on apr 3 2016 has turned out my day holistic. This is my first flight with indigo and i am really not happy with the service. I am travelling with pnr no. M9rzkj and vb92fg chennai to varanasi booked through make my trip. I was charged for an excess baggage at chennai for rs 4500 and on enquiry was told that i wont have to pay for my next flight from delhi as i will be exempted by showing the receipt issued by them for next 24 hrs. But to my surprise i was slammed with a bill of rs 5000 again at delhi airport in indigo counter by a typical rude staff namely anup saying that i was given a wrong information at chennai.. Boss.. It's that my fault? It has just caused mental agony to me and my family with an infant around. Though the chennai staffs were polite and cooperative.. I am unhappy that i was misleaded. Expecting a proper and corrective action from the authority. Added to this, i travel frequently in this route and never had to carry my baggages in transit when travelled through same airlines. But this was really an itching experience. Just can't forgive myself for booking this airline and causing sufferings to my family.

                          I had booked a flight from Delhi to Vishakhapatnam through Indigo on 3/4/2016. My PNR no was MPUP6C. I was in Domestic terminal T1 40 mins. prior to the departure of the flight. The security check was done in a very casual and unhurried way. As soon as it was done, we proceeded to the gate and there we were informed that we were late and the gates are closed. We reached at gate 20 mins before flight departed. It is not only my case. There were 10 to 15 other passengers who suffered through same fate.

                          NO ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE FLIGHT WAS MADE.

                          Ground staff was very rude and unhelpful and pronounced judgment before even hearing us.

                          Please redress my issue at the earliest. This was wrongly handled by the airlines and terminal. If this is not redressed, I swear to never use your airline again and do my very best in dissuading other people from using this airlines and going through this ordeal.
                          P.S: There are many people who had far worse day than me. One person missed an interview which could change his life. One young girl missed an important exam.

                          I had also faced the same issue at Delhi on 4th April with 15-20 passengers travelling by Indigo only. Two other airlines were making proper announcement for boarding with passengers name. Can we do some thing against Indigo like complain at consumer forum or DGCA. I had already made complaint with Terminal Manager at T1.

                            I have booked two ticket of my family in view of my elder brother death on 27 Feb 16. One ticket from Ahmadabad to New Delhi and second ticket from New Delhi to Varanasi After complete booking of first ticket whose PNR no. is RC318Q, I logout / Closed your website page then i proceeded for booking of second ticket from New Delhi to Varanasi whose PNR no is RC318Q. When I reached Ahmadabad air port for boarding then indigo staff told me that your first ticket has been cancelled and you cannot board in the 6E 158 flights. For some time i was really shocked how this happens. I booked again another flight ticket from Ahmadabad to New Delhi .I want to know that how my first ticket become cancelled without giving any cancellation command. Plz take some serious action against Indigo to refund of my total money which is Rs 8181.00(Rs Eight thousand one hundred eighty one only) .

                              Sir I had a ticket from Mumbai to Indore booked in Indigo Airlines my PNR No.- K47BJL,
                              I checked in 1 hour before and I boarded prior to 20 minutes also got the boarding pass but the staff told that the gate is closed now and didnt allow me to entered and my ticket got cancelled due to which i faced lot to trouble. This is an injustice causedto me. Kindly provide me the compensation and needful assistance from the Airlines.

                                We were 3 o[censored]s travelling. We had done the Web checkin. Since we were running late by 5 mins, we called Indigo Customer Service to inform them that we require luggage to be checked in and provided our PNR. On arriving at the Mumbai airport we wasted 30 to 40 minutes since 5.40 to tell the Indigo staff to help with just three small travel bags total weighing 22.9kgs so that we can board the flight. None of the Indigo staff was helpful. Instead Parker Visalia Ast Manager ID IGA3140 just refused. We had to pay Rs. 9000 extra for the next flight to Delhi. I spoke to Salman Ansari and Ashutosh Singh on the customer service helpline. They also refused any service. I have traveled by Jet before and their service was extremely customer friendly. Indigo staff Chaitra Kulkarni was rude to us and handled the luggage roughly. I will never travel by Indigo again or recommend it to anyone else ever. I will also make sure this complaint goes online for everyone to know how customers unfriendly Indigo is and how they loot the customers who have a Web check in and are just 5mins late. Indigo cannot help with just three travel bags. This is the service we paid for to Indigo. Worst flight experience.

                                  I have travelled to dubai from kochi on indigo. During the i have tried buying food using indian currency. The crew told that they cannot take indian currency and only usd or dirhams can be used for purchasing. Why this discrimination for indian currency from and indian carrier. I remembered gandhi being thrown out of the train for being an indian. So indian are the biggest racist for indians now. I strongly recommend strong actions against such discrimination from our own companies.

                                    Incident desc - indigo has over booked the tickets and have tried to pacify us stating that we are late.
                                    We are 3 passengers travelling from hyderabad to ahmedabad on 12/march/2016, 1. Sreenubabu dasari, 2. Mounica, 3. Ratnavali.
                                    1. Flight no: (6e 372) from hyderabad to ahmedabad
                                    2. Issued boarding pass @ 5.20
                                    3. Went through security checkin
                                    4. Indigo representative put the timestamp 5.47 and has rejected stating that the gates were closed. However were not closed.
                                    5. When we said that we had to wait at the security checking for more than 20 mins they simply stated that security checkin is not our head ache, however, the very same indigo representatives have taken other 3 people thru the security checkin and was the same with other airline service provider representatives (Spice jet, indian airlines etc...)
                                    6. No representatives have come to us at security checkin whereas other airline providers were eager to get their people boarded.
                                    7. After reaching the gates, there was a bus of indigo in front o[censored]s displaying the details of the same flight hyderabad to ahmedabad, however, the indigo representative priya did not let us go in and she had a chat with manager and they said that there were other people allocated on our seats which was very bad to hear.
                                    8. When questioned sent to manager: shagun and she was trying to say the same rules and regulations which was not the consent rather was our tickets sold to other people.
                                    9. After couple of minutes was sent to another person named: chetan and he was bluntly saying that it was our mistake and there was nothing from their side that they could help with and when asked about the indigo representatives who were trying to get other people boarded he simply said he need to check why other indigo representatives were trying to get other people boarded and we felt very bad about this person.
                                    10. Based on this travel there were many dependent plans, all of which have gone vain as i had to cancel all other dependent tickets which is very huge loss of time and money.
                                    11. Finally had to book train tickets which took lot of pain as my mom is an asthmatic patient and having severe problems with her bones. There was not even smallest of the concerns shown on us from the staff.
                                    12. Having faced this pathetic situation caused by the indigo airlines, i request a refund to be provided by the indigo airlines for this sort of poor service.

                                      This is to inform you that i'm serving in army, currently posted in leh, ladakh (J&k). I had booked ticket from delhi to indore but due to bad weather conditions in leh on 18th and 19th march i was unable to catch my delhi-indore indigo flight. Then on 21st march goair provided an additional flight from leh-delhi. So due to bad weather conditions on 18th march i couldn't catch your indigo flight which i had booked earlier. So kindly understand my problem that missing your flight was not my mistake but because of nature i was not able to board your flight on 18th march.                                         My wife was traveling yesterday on delhi ahmedabad sector on 31 march 2016. The flight was at 6.20 a.M reaching ahmedad at 7.55 a.M. She checked in, did security check and got the bording pass with 1 hour remaining in flight departure.

                                        She went for a coffee and returned to the gate for boading with 35 min remaining however she was not allowed. All the staff were extremely rude specifically kiran khatri. I think she is the manger over there.
