On the 25th September 2021 we had booked a ticket though Make My Trip for Kolkata to Delhi but via Varanasi for 25th October 2021 - for 5 people who was accompanying me for my Liver Cirrhosis treatment to get me listed to DDLT listing & undergo further evaluation, but i had to reach AIIMS by 11 am by the 25th of October 2021, so although the flight was booked through make my trip but I called up the Airline directly asking them to change the flight to 24th October 2021 but with a direct flight from Kolkata to Delhi on the 28th Sept 2021, for the change we had had again pay more than 17000/- for 5 people. But the Airline people divided the ticket into 2 PNR, the First PNR (IndiGo Itinerary DLR19G, was for 3 Passengers, Namely Mr. Soumen Das, Raju Sarkar & Mr. Dipankar Ghosh) & the 2nd PNR (Your IndiGo Itinerary WWVHNQ, Passenger Namely Mr. Abir Mondal & Mr. Bijoy Mondal). Both the PNR was on the same flight 24th Oct 2021, flight number 6E 2521, DEPT TIME 6:05 AM. But when we reached the Airport at 4:00 AM, while accessing the boarding pass, we learnt that at around 2:45AM someone by the name TA (Travel Agent) called & cancelled the PNR (IndiGo Itinerary DLR19G, was for 3 Passengers, Namely Mr. Soumen Das, Raju Sarkar & Mr. Dipankar Ghosh), which we were completely unaware. And when we enquired with make my trip (according to them the flight was Directly cancelled with Airline). None o[censored]s called Make My Trip or Indigo to cancel the flight. Moreover, when we were 5 members why would we cancel the tickets for 3 Passengers & not 5 passengers (When we did the change we did make change for 5 passengers) and if we had known about the cancellation why would all 5 Passengers would arrive at the Airport at the same time.And since we had to travel the 3 passengers had to instantly book again tickets each paying near to 10, 000/- each & fly to Delhi in the next flight. Moreover according to Make My Trip & Indigo the deduction amount for cancellation is 17, 226.00. Dont you think this is completely il-logical what happened with us. Nobody both from Make My Trip & Indigo helped to figure out what exactly happened. When we talk with Indigo Helpline they say it has been cancelled by our Travel Agency & when we ask Make my trip they either say we cancelled it or it was Directly Cancelled With the Airlines.
IndiGo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
The procedure of the missing luggage starts with the complaint of passenger to the air carrier or to agent of the air carrier. The air carrier has to deliver the luggage (property of the passenger) within not later than 2 hours after landing of the flight in the busiest 4-5 star airport by 4-5 star air carrier (Skytrax indexes).
The passenger can submit the complaint within 7 days after the landed flight is over.
The passenger has aright to conclude that his luggage is lost by the air carrier, if the air carrier did not return baggage in 21 days following the flight had been landed.
The secondary proves are PNR and/or ticket.
The primary proves (evidences) are small baggage tag and
P.I.R. which shall be completed by air carrier in duplicate following the first complaining attempt of the passenger (complete rules are not published by the Department for unknown reason) .
