Worst experiences of my life while flying
I have seen an ex of zero CUSTOMER service, zero compassion and negative logical approach to problem solving with Indigo Airlines.
My parents (senior citizen) were travelling to Australia from Chennai via Singapore and they were denied entry in the flights on the grounds which even Government of Singapore doesn't recognise. They were asked for a Singapore Visa & VTP certificate which apparently, you do not require when you are transiting through Singapore and have valid documents for entry in Australia.
Something which is easy to understand, which Singapore Airline could understand but sadly Indigo couldn't.
Executives at Indigo counter didn't even try to understand the situation and denied boarding. My parents were stranded at Chennai airport, disoriented, traveling for the first time internationally and this is treatment they get for travelling with Indian cargo. Well, dear Indigo Airlines, just to let you know we booked the tickets of Singapore Airlines for the same day and same time and made it to destination without VTP & visa, because it was never ### required.
My decision to book flight with Indigo was purely because I wanted to give business to them but looking at the state of things, I would never travel with them again. I reached out to there CUSTOMER Care via chat and they said that they cannot initiate refund and will have to go to Indigo Counter which is again illogical as my Parents booked a flight on the spot, cleared security and immigration and how can they go out again and ask a indigo counter for refund of the flight. And without providing any solution the CUSTOMER Care Executive disconnected the chat which shows the level of CUSTOMER Service.am trying to call your CUSTOMER care.Looking forward to getting my refund .

Please train your staff about rules and regulations around travelling during Covid. My parents were denied boarding (with already checked in flight, mind you) because of VTL requirement. While all the Singapore websites clearly states, it is not required for transit. Thanks to your incompetent staff, I had to buy a high priced ticket on tbe spot for Singapore Airlines, whose staf[censored]nderstood the case and let my parents travel the same day, without the ### VTL. I demand full refund of my Indigo tickets and reimbursement for Singapore airlines.
