I booked a round trip flight ticket from Pune to Lucknow on 17th January 2021, on the Indigo Website, through my desktop and used Google Pay to make the payment.
The amount had been deducted from my account but no confirmation on the booking has been made.
Please find attached the screenshot of the same for your reference.
Since then, I have been getting automatic replies like "With reference to your email, we would like to inform you that the amount of INR 9, 622 will be auto refunded and same will be credited in 7-10 working days."
But it has been over 9 months, and even after sending details of my bank statement, they have not credited the amount back.
Then on Jan 30th, they wrote:
"With regard to your mail, we would like to confirm that we have received a payment of INR 9622 on 18th January and this amount is refunded back to original mode of payment under refund ID rfnd_GRZcMndwczYj4Y . This may take 7-10 working days for the amount to reflect in your account."
Then, after mailing again and again, they wrote, "With reference to your mail, we would like to confirm that we have processed a refund of INR 9622 under refund ID rfnd_GRZcMndwczYj4Y
Further, this is to inform you that all the card holders has right to dispute the transaction with their banks if they are not aware about the details of the said transaction. Raising dispute against the said transaction will make the bank to investigate the matter internally within their departments and as well as the Merchant bank to provide resolution to the customers.
Therefore, we would request you to kindly make a call to the card dispute division and raise a dispute for faster response."
I checked with my bank and they said that the reference number does not exist.
After so many mails and to-fro of information, I am still struggling to get my refund of almost 10k after over 9 months from the date of payment.
