I cancel a air ticket (Ticket copy enclosed). The journey date was 8thapr.2020 (With in country lock down period). The ticket was flexi ticket too against extra cost. The ticket value was rs.4954/-.

During cancellation they deduct a big amount. But when i wrote over email () to indigo, they assured, out of total ticket value rs. 4954/-, the amount rs.1704/- will be refund to the account (Credit card), where from the payment made. But for unknown reason, they like to keep rs.3254/- at credit shell!! And that will be valid for one year and may be utilized for the same passenger only!!

But the ticket was booked by me for my lawyer... And i am not sure, whether & when really i may need to purchase again suitable air ticket for same lawyer or so!! In such case, i may not be able to utilize the said amount (Rs.3254/-)!!...

I request indigo to refund the full amount to same account, where from i spend the money. But indigo denied.

It is very strange to see, that complain resolved !! The complain not yet resolved against Indigo air ticket cancellation. when journey date was 8th April2020, i.e. in covid19 lock down period. I did not received Rs.3250/-. Indigo kept the same in credit shell and as per Indigo air lines, that amount may be utilized with in one year for only SAME passenger !!, which is difficult matter, as I purchase the said ticket for my Advocate. So we do not know, when normalization comes at the end of covid-19 & lock down etc. So I like to get back the said amount to my account, where from i have paid.
IndiGo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Just little before ( say about 11.38am, 12/04/2020) a call came from +[protected], that he told he is from Indigo airlines. He talk about my complain. He asked me, "how I paid during ticket purchase?" I inform "I paid thru credit card". then he was told "related complained fund can not be refund to credit card. do you have debit card ?" . I told, " yes i have same axis bank debit card". then he asked me the debit card no. But I denied to tell my debit card no. (considering so many fraud cases). So I told him to email me the matter. Then he told "bye bye subrata" !!... this is for information.

Indigo still telling they will keep Rs.3250/- at credit shell !! in the mean time with Indigo reference, I face big trouble by repeated try for Credit Card Fraud Transaction and bound to block my credit card. The call came from Indigo customer care no.

complain not yet resolved. I did not received Rs.3250/-. they kept in credit shell. & that may be utilized by one year for only same passenger, which is difficult matter, as I purchase the said ticket for some other person. So I like to get back the said amount to my account.

Indigo air lines customer care telling, if I like to get refund, they will apply cancellation charges !! I replied as follows :
1) But why cancellation charges to be applied?, Did Indigo air lines operate their services during 8th April, 2020 ( proposed travel date), for which I cancel the ticket? and when I purchase the said ticket against extra cost as flexi ticket.

2) further Indigo air lines kept my money in credit cell and telling that can be used for the same passenger with in one year. !! but I (Mr. Subrata Samanta) purchased ticket from my account (with Indigo) & from my credit card, for my advocate. In such way, the situation o[censored]tilization of credit cell is highly uncertain, when covid situation is lengthening unlimited. !!
in all such situation, Indigo air lines should refund the said amount direct to my account... so that I can utilize the same for my own ticket or so as per requirement.

    Dear make trip team,

    I had booking form your agent for by indigo for 31starch my booking id is nn[protected].
    In which i just completed travel on 21st march blr to ktm
    Nd my other for 31 st has been cancelled by indigo airlines pnr no. Ofthmv and they initiate the refund process and put my refund on credit shell but now concern sence i have to make a new booking but i try doing through indigo web. Its not happening and they are telling me contact with agent and now m out country i cannot have source to do that but initially i try through email but there is no response. And i share with indigo team same but now my concern is my money is with indigo team not with make my trip agent and i should authority to used my money and seen agent is not responding then how could get my money back it's has been disappeared between agents and company. So i would request indigo team to me address me on same. Not that you guyz can't do anything anyway my money is with you not agents.

      Hello, me and my family traveled through indigo in december. Due to loss of boarding pass, i requested for the travel certificate and have paid for the same.
      After payment, it took me directly to the main site without any acknowledgement. Money has been deducted from my account.
      Payment has been done through sbi card.
      Transaction id: st[protected].
      Please have a look into the matter and provide me with the travel certificate.

          This is regarding booking reference number : pd7j7y. I made a booking through makemytrip.com.
          The total amount paid for the booking to makemytrip was rs. 37643. An email has already been sent to the customer with the evidence. Constantly i have been provided with incorrect details.

          Issue 1

          My flight from kathmandu to mumbai was rescheduled and an option was provided to cancel this leg only. Just for reference the flight initially was scheduled for 4.45 pm from kathmandu. However this was rescheduled for 2.50 pm. Please refer to reschedule email sent to me by indigo attached (Where i am given an option to cancel only kathmandu to mumbai leg free of charge. However still a cancellation charge has been charged to me. Please refer to refund invoice attached. The refund amount is rs.16330 after all cancellation charges. But the amount refunded to my credit card is only rs.14833 (The email from make my trip is attached which gives a break up. Please note this even doesn’t match with indigo refund receipt)

          Issue 2

          Now coming to mumbai to kathmandu leg which i never cancelled nor was given an option to cancel by indigo. How did a credit shell got issued for rs.20, 8552. Clearly i didn’t cancel it. The airlines has already cancelled its flight due to the lockdown across india. And now it showing as if its doing a favour by issuing a credit shell to customers. A lot of customers have already complained regarding this on twitter.

          Resolution:

          The only resolution that i can accept here is a full refund of rs.37643 and not a credit shell. Clearly indigo customer service has been providing me misleading details which is not acceptable

            INDIGO cancelled its flight and it should refund full amount, instead it is cheating passengers by not refunding full amount.

            It is all because of LOCKDOWN COVID19

              I had already submitted a complaint regarding refund of money used for taking a ticket. The amount of 14173/-was deducted from my account and no pnr was issued. Same informed indigo airlines customer care, still now the amount was not yet credited. They are not taking any necessary action they are telling it will automatically credited back to me but i am waiting from last 17 days.

                [protected], i m getting a call that my cv has been selected by this number. He is asking me some charges. This person mailed me and asked a few questions which were very very simple like cpu, ram, rom. Later he told that tell me about yourself. Even as per my knowledge english is necessary for airline jobs. But he later came in hindi. Even offered me for a salary of 27500.. Now he gave me the account number of pushpa devi to send money. I have attached the screenshot of the conversation.

                  My flight was canceled by the airlines, so I am eligible for full refund but they arenot refunding my money or the indigo airlines not refunding my money.

                  Please resolve my issue asap.

                    I tried to book a ticket on 23/03/2020 to travel from chennai to trivandrum on 24/03/2020. But the amount of rs14174/- was deducted during booking, but no pnr was issued.
                    Its was informed to airlines more than 25mails. They replied me the amount deducted from me will be credited back automatically. Still now its not yet credited. I am waiting from last 15 days.

                      Dear sir/madam
                      This is to inform you that i have met financial loss from indigo airlines. I have booked vishagapattanm to cochin flight on 25th march 2020 pnr no#skl6nw. Due to the lockdown situation, the flight booked was cancelled and the message sent to me they told you can use the same amount for one year. So when i tried to book so, it was not happening and for the query, the customer care was also shut off. So i asked via face book page and they told to go and ask the third party, which was ixigo and when asked to ixigo they told to go and ask indigo. So i finally booked the flight again and canceled the earlier ticket and they deduct 3500 rupees as processing money which was against the mails they send in between, so please i request to take action against the fraudsters who are taking advantage in this financial crisis time and you will seriously look into this and help me.

                        Wrt the pnr number = pwp1gx -6e 5326 01 april bom (T2)-idr i am quite disheartened to state that the above ticket auto automatically got cancelled due to the lock down situation. But after this cancellation, not a single rupee was returned to us and held in your account! Why???
                        Did any body from your concerned dept. Take consent from me. And further mentionned that it can be utilized in further flight booking. Is n`t this a shame less act of coercive selling.
                        Kindly arrange for its reimbursement immediately, a seller does not have any right to with held the money of the customer, if the service /product is not delivered or for the future forced selling and allow us to retain an image of rational and honest business entity of yours.​

                          I booked ticket for my wife in indigo from delhi to trichy. Travel date 01/04/2020. Indigo has cancelled this ticket and has not refunded the full amount of rs4658/-. This is cancelled without my concern and they have charged total deductions of rs3000/- and refunded only rs1658/-. For no fault of me and default cancel of the flight due to lock down, how deduction can be applied just on the ground of policy call.

                          Request intervention and help me waive this deduction and do the needful for refund of full amount rs4658/- and support me for any emergency requirement at this situation.

                          You have mentioned full amount credited, which should be Rs4658/-.

                          As in attached mail it shows details as below.
                          Fare Summary

                          Total Deductions INR 3, 000.00
                          Refund Amount INR 1, 658.00

                          This is not correct and fare and I did not opt for this.

                          How you have decided to cancel and refund only 1658/= without my concern.

                          Why I should bear Rs3000/= for default cancelation of the flight.

                          Please do not force me again to accept your policy regarding.

                          Request to clarify and do the needful to credit the full amount Rs4658/- as claimed.

                          Please share the credit reference and document for my furtherance with my bank to ensure the credit of full amount Rs4658/- immediately.

                          I did not expect this heavy charge from Indigo customer service just on ground of policy, which is also man made and could have been considered for deviation.

                            Dear sir/madam
                            I have booked bangalore pune flight vide pnr#kj8njj on 23rd feb through easemytrip.com for my vacation along with family. However due to corona virus i am continuously requesting airline and easemytrip to cancel my ticket and provide me 100% refund. Even through airline have initially postponed the flight schedule and now they have cancelled the same they are not ready to offer 100% refund instead of that they are continuously insisting me for credit shell or date change for which they are asking fair difference which is not acceptable to me. As you know now everything is uncertain even our office schedule, my kids school schedule etc so i am not in position to decide perfect date change or not sure i will use the credit shell. For your information few airlines are understanding this and already offering 100% refund. When flight is not operating why airline is adamant to deduct my money or hold with them, where is the issue in offering refund. Considering all this kindly instruct the airline to process my refund. I am confident that you will seriously look into this and help me out.

                              Hi I booked my ticket from Happy easy go site I need to take a flight on 23rd of march but due to covid 19 there was a lockdown in city Raipur and many other cities so I cancle the flight in precautions but when I cancelled a flight I got no refund but it's already mentioned due to covid 19 no cancellation fees would be charged I contacted happy easy go they said if airlines agreed only then we are ready to pay your refund please look into this because I really need my refund I am stuck somewhere

                                Hello team,

                                This is hareshkumar patel. I had booked my indigo flight departure 05th apr, 2020 (Ahmadabad to bangalore) but due to corona 19 airline had cancelled flight.
                                I was given two options from the indigo airline
                                1) if we cancelled the flight then cancellation charges 3k i have to pay which i cannot afford.
                                2) reschedule the flight on any other day but whatever flight rate on that day i have to pay. I have checked the flight fare and it is almost double or triple which i cannot afford again.

                                Here, my complain is that if flight has been cancelled from the airline then why i am not eligible for full refund without any charges? I can understand if i would have cancelled then i have to pay other charges. I inquired other flight and they are giving full refund without any charges.

                                I had a discussion with indigo customer care but i am not satisfied with the answer. I felt they are taking a disadvantage of this covid 19 situation and fooling all people.

                                This is my humble request to you that please do the needful in this case. I believed that this is not a professionalism being a reputed airline.

                                  On making this request via chat support your representative ms deeksha gupta behaved unprofessional and advised me that the customer support is closed for the day.

                                  On making the request to confirm the cancellation service she assisted via mail
                                  She mentioned she will not do so.

                                  Kindly note that this service is totally un professional and would like necessary authorities to check the chat and let me know if the service was appropriate.

                                    I booked a ticket on indigo flight
                                    Pnr : xqqe8r flight no : 6e - 998 from : maa to : bom
                                    Date: 29 mar 2020.

                                    However, due to the corona scare, the flight was cancelled and i was given a credit note (Number tn2192003ag96585).

                                    I wanted to use the credit so i booked again another indigo and got a hold pnr gg2ttf as advised by the customer service executive who chatted with me on 3 apr 2010.
                                    6e 5353 date: 19 apr 2020 hold pnr gg2ttf maa-bom

                                    The executive who chatted with me told that they will use the credit shell from their back end operations and i will get a confirmed ticket shortly.

                                    However, when i checked on 5 apr 2020, that nothing was done on the hold pnr and it got cancelled automatically.

                                    When i chatted again with the executives, they asked me to book another ticket again, which i refused and demanded an explanation. I was given an email to the customer service and things stand as of now there.

                                    Since it is not my fault that the hold pnr was kept without any action, i demand a written explanation and also compensation for the negligent and careless behaviour of the airlines.

                                      Hi i was booking a ticket from indigo mobile app on 03 apr 2020 for travel on 17 apr 2020 from aurangabad to delhi flight. While i was paying then it went to billdesk and after it came back to indigo site it showed a message saying transaction not successful, however, money got deducted from bank account. I tried to book again and same thing happened again and money was deducted twice without booking ticket. I got the mail from [protected]@ccavenue.com regarding confirmation of transaction both the times. Their was no communication from indigo regarding the refund.
