I visited INOX, Mantri Mall, Bangalore on 15th March at around 5:30pm and swiped a card for INR 810 and money got debited from my account but the person informed that money will come back into my account within 24 Hours. Until 18th March, 72 Hours had passed but there was no reversal into my account after visiting my bank and updating my passbook. So I visited INOX and met Mr Ashok and handed over him all the evidences and he said he will get back within a day. But today is almost 7 days from when my money got debited but Mr Ashok calls to direct me to Mr Loknath Reddy who informs me to wait for 7 working days and then go to the bank. My question is in this era of technology where transactions like UPI payments happen within seconds, will it really take so much time to investigate and initiate a refund ? Also will INOX give me tickets if I promise to pay after 7 days ? Attaching all evidences and expecting a speedy and timely refund.
