I had booked a ticket for my mother in KSRTC - Rajahamsa Executive bus (Trip Code 2144BNGJMK) for 31st July, 2011 and specified pick up point as Navarang Park. However when the bus came and I was holding the bag and ticket and was waiting it to stop, the bus didn't stop at all at Navarang and nobody responded to the number mentioned in the ticket - [protected]. I then enquired at KSRTC ticket counter, Navarang and when that guy called, the conductor told the bus was just after Navarang signal and waiting. I, for the safer side, took the car and the bus was waiting after 3km from the pick up point! Luckily I had car so I could drop. If any lady is alone how she can go? City buses don't ply there and it is not safe to take auto at 10 30 PM. The conductor is highly irresponsible and he didn't even apologize for not stopping. Now it also loss for the KSRTC because now I don't feel like traveling in it. I am a regular commuter from last 5 years. Please ensure such incidents do not repeat in future and KSRTC has to apologize for the same. Since only one ticket was booked from Navarang, KSRTC can find me and apologize.

    Sub: Really sad of Karnataka SRTC service



    Iam a regular customer of Karnataka RTC. I usually book my ticket through the nearest local agent always, but some times through Internet site of KSRTC.in because of convenience.



    I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Ernakulam on 02/07/2011 and return ticket on 04/07/2011 through Internet facility KSRTC.in (ID: jinokurian).



    Ticket Details:



    Bangalore to Ernakulam

    Date – 02/07/2011

    Time – 8:13pm

    Start point – Electronic City Depot

    Class of Service – Airavat (Volvo)

    PNR No - J24265874

    Trip Code - 1929BNGEKM



    I reached Electronic city Depot by 8:00pm and shown my ticket print out in the counter. Counter person (a lady) told me that, this particular bus is late for 45 minuts and because of late coming driver may not stop for dinner.

    I went for dinner first floor of Electronic city depot (Hotel Pallavi) and came back by 8:35pm and seated on the side of Counter (on Concrete bunch).



    I waited till 9:15pm. In between one Kottayam Airavat bus and one Rajahamsa is stopped for passengers and passed.

    But no Ernakulam Airavat Volvo has come to the bus stop. I went and ask to the counter about the bus, he answered that he doesn’t know because my ticket is not booked from this counter.

    One another person from counter came and told me this bus is already passed by 9:00pm, but it is not come to the bus stop.



    I called helpline number[protected],[protected] which is mentioned in ticket. But no one picks the call.



    The argument happens between me and Electronic city counter person. He told me that, “this ticket is not booked from this counter. So you can do whatever you want”.



    I wouldn’t know what to do? I was totally upset and gone to kerala by local bus. But I reached Ernakulam by 1:00pm 03/07/2011. I missed my urgent and important function in Ernakulam by 9:00am.



    My argument was “This bus is not come to the Electronic city depot bus stop. If the bus comes, they should call on mobile phone number which is provided while booking the ticket. Internet booking is costing more by service charges and infrastructure fee”. But rejection and no acceptance is with any bus stop counter.



    One more passenger was waiting for same bus on this bus stop. He cancelled his trip due to this incident.



    I strongly feel, this type of operation is ridiculous and cannot acceptable. This incident causes wastage of my money, time and mental agony.



    Now, we corporate friends are thinking about alternative bus transport for better service.

    Many o[censored]s from Fort Kochi and closer by areas are travelling daily to Aroor, Eramalloor, Thuravoor, Cherthala, and Allapuza daily in connection with our employment.
    Why dont you arrange a FP service from Fort Kochi bus stand around 7.45 - 8.00 a m in the morning and also an evening trip towards Fort Kochi
    This will be of great help to us ladies, and will certainly be effective.

          Sir/madam,

          I Dr.Vivek Jogani, a resident of Mumbai, and dentist by profession have been travelling to Davangere and Bangalaore very often from Mumbai. I am regular traveller via KSRTC-Airavat volvo service, past 3 odd years. This is one of the best services I have come across; punctuality, hospitality and safety been the key features.

          But, I am sorry to say that, off late, your service is been deteriorating and becoming verse day by day. All thanks to your mumbai-bangalore airavat drivers and bus keepers. On 11 june 2011 sunday 5.00 pm, I had boarded bus no: KA 01 F 9164 at from mumbai- sion to davangere. To my horror was the concept taught to me by the bus driver was that the bus wont enter Davangere bus stand and I will have to alight the bus in the middle of the highway. All these years the bus has stopped at Davangere bus stand and all of a sudden this time the bus driver and keeper said that it wont. Moreover it was raining and no rickshaws were available. When I resisted from getting down, the bus drivers were harsh, used abusive language and even threatened that they wont stop; which they did. After I told them that I would call the local police, they changed the route and entered davangere bus station finally. This was at par after causing immense inconvenience to me and my fellow co-passengers.

          sir/ madam, no doubt KSRTC is one of the best services been offered in INDIA BUT THE QUALITY IS BEEN degrading day by day. I request you to, therefore, take stern action against such bus drivers and cleaners and deal with them accordingly.

            Sir,

            I have traveled from Ernakulam to Puthenkruz on 16/06/11by a KSRTC Fast passenger bus started from Ernakulam depot at 9.30pm to Muvattupuzha Depot.
            As it was after 10pm, I requested the conductor to stop the bus at Mananthadam stop, that is before Puthenkruz. But the conductor refused to stop the bus and he stoped only at Puthenkruz. As it was heavily raining, i had lot of difficulties to come back to my bus stop in the late night. I request you to take necessary action in this regard.

            KSRTC — Bus not stopping at bus stops

            Date of Incident : 30th October 2010
            Bus route : Ernakulam to Pathanamthitta via Thiruvankulam, Piravam, Kottayam and Thiruvalla.
            Time : Reaches Thiruvankulam @ approximately 6.15 am

            I take this particular bus on a regular basis to commute from Thiruvakulam to Thiruvalla. On 30th of October 2010 as usual I was waiting for this particular bus at Thiruvankulam, the bus reached Thiruvankulam late, ie, by around 6.25 AM. There were other passengers also waiting along with me. The driver did not bother to stop the bus, making all o[censored]s fools, the bus went away very fast. The bus was not crowded as well. How could the driver not stop the bus at Thiruvankulam as it being a major stop and so many passengers were waiting there.These kind of behaviors are not expected and appreciated from KSRTC staff as it is for the service of the people. The fellow passengers suffer a lot because of these kind of incidents. I wonder whether any actions are action, if no actions are not taken, request you to look into this matter urgently. I have already dropped complaints in the complaint boxes. This surely has caused lot of inconvenience and I reached the destination an hour late.
            My question is why buses are allocated for particular routes if they are not stopping there. If this the case, the bus can have only two stops, one from where the bus starts and one the last stop. I would request you to look into this issue and take immediate and necessary action. So that passengers do not have to suffer like this.

            KSRTC, Kerala — Not stopping at Legal Bus stops

            I am venugopal & boarded on Bus no. KL 15 7617 from North Paravoor & took ticket for kodungalore vide ticket no. 00043714, 6.44 p.m. and paid Rs.9/-. When the Bus reached the Kodungalore North Nada stand the conductor refused to stop the bus & took me to the next stop i.e. Kodungalore pvt bus stand stop. I had to come back by 15 minutes walking, to my required stop. Then I Saw a KSRTC Bus was dropping & picking the passengers from the North Nada stop. Bus conductor was arrogant & refused to stop the bus at North Nada Bus Stand. Please clarify & give the official stops of KSRTC at Kodungalore.
            Sir,

            I had traveled from Trivandrun to Venjaramoodu by KSRTC Trivandrum-Idukki-Kattappana Super fast bus on 15/7/12 at 23:48 Hrs.
            The Conductor in this bus was behaving very brutally to all passengers at mid night. I am also a victim for this. I gave Rs. 101 for Rs. 21 ticket fare. I physically saw change in his bag, but he refused to give me balance amount and dropped me at Vembayam Junction at mid night and purposefully asked me to collect the change from shops. There was no shops opened at midnight their. For my goodness I saw one of my friend their and I collect changes from him and refunded the 100 Rs given to the conductor.
            I hear by request you to take necessary action against him for this kind of behavior with passengers.

              there was a ksrtc bus service from kumily to changanasserry in the morning 5.40 from kumily depot. for the last 3.5 years I am a regular traveller in that bus. but for the last 1 week the service is stopped, when we contacted the kumily ksrtc station they said "the service in loss so we are unable to continue it" .for the past these years they dont realize service in loss. there is always all the seats are full then how can it be in loss. now the bus stopped , and the private owned bus at that time is getting more profit. also the travelling difficulty is more. i think the ATO at kumily means the 2 private buses followed by ksrtc bus is at loss , so he have get payed to stop that bus.

                Dear concern,

                I have booked KSRTC bus ticked through on-line to travel on 14/06/2011 for corona a/c sleeper bus from gulbarga to bangalore departure at 7.30Pm , In online reservation system based on seat layout displayed over the sytem i have booked 15 lower sleeper seat as it is exactly middile seat in the bus for a better comfort jurney but when i get into the bus seats layout is totally diffrent and they have given me last sleeper seat and even i enquired with condocter he is also not responded properly because of this i travelled in the last seat by booking middle seat in online seat layout.

                My main concern is KSRTC people dispalying diffrent seat layout in online and alloting diffrent seat in the bus.

                This may not be big issue but what ever service they have promised to me they are not deliverd.

                  Subject: KSRTC: amount of INR 1289 .not refunded for un-booked ticket

                  I had booked tickets from Hyderabad to Bangalore on 3rd june'2011, through KSRTC online portal.
                  Due to some reasons, the ticket was not booked, but, the amount was deducted from the account.
                  I sent an e-mail to [protected]@ksrtc.org on 3rd June & received a reply on 6th June stating that the issue will be looked into & the amount refunded.
                  Its 10th June today & neither any amount has been refunded nor any email communication.

                  Please help or let me know if anything can be done on this.Also, please let me know who is the right person/authority office to be contacted for this.

                  Bus from hanagal to bangalore has 550 rs fare & from ranebennur 500 rs fare, But from the harihar only 310 rs. nd from davanagere only 300 rs. I didnt understand why so much costly for only 30 km distance.

                    Namaskara, My daughter of age 11years and 11 months was charged full ticket for travelling from Belgaum to Madgaon on 27/05/2011 at 0815 hrs. The conductor (No.3864 as told by himself) of the Bus No.KA-22 F1565 instructed us that the full ticket charge is applicable immediate after completion of 11 years and I was forced to pay full ticket amount. The ticket No. 061300 is enclosed for reference and if necessary document pertaining to the age of my daughter will be submitted. This is for your information and necessary action please.

                      Im Madhuri T P resident of karnataka, i have booked online ticket throgh ksrtc site the ticket was not booked but the money got deducted from my icici account... I have reference number of booking the tickets that is OB3901612,OB3901708.
                      Same issue for me.

                      Ref: KSRTC OB No- OB6885489

                      On 19/08/2012, I tried to book a ticket Palghat to Mysore for
                      03/09/2012. Tried three times last transaction was success but other 2
                      transactions moved to failed transactions but amount 333 Rs deducted
                      for 1 failed transaction. I previously sent emails regarding this but
                      not yet received my refund.

                        I had booked Ticket from Bangalore to madurai (Tamilnadu) via online payment of KSRTC. My money has been deducted twice from my account. they asked to send mail to '[protected]@ksrtc.org' but mail not delivering to it saying no such mail address exists. I need necessary steps and also i need my money.

                        KSRTC ticket booked. — Amount debited twice.

                        I have purchased KSRTC ticket on 19th April, 2011, for Rs. 417/-, however the first purchase bearing reference No. OB3604954IG48139100, has not been materialised due to some technical reasons, but an amount has been debited to my account. Thereafter i made one more purchase since the earlier attempt has been cancelled due to technical reasons and the same was successful.

                        But in my account the amount has been debitted twice for Rs. 417/- on 19th April, 2011. I kept on following it with my banker from past two months, but nothing is materialising and they adviced me to lodge a complaint.

                        Please look in to the matter.

                          On 20-MAY-11, I tried to book the seat of KSRTC Rajahamsa which is going from Bangalore to Dharmastala via Online payment. But finally they deducted the amount from my account and seat was booked to some other person. At least, they should have some common sense of refunding the amount when they were not capable of providing the seat. Till today i didn't get my amount back.
                          So i request the concerned officers should take necessary action for this.

                            dear sir,

                            i have booked online ticket on 09/05/2011 via ksrtc awtar system from bangalore to harihar in 23.15 bus for 4 passengers. at first i could not fetched the ticket print out and it showed the possible failure of the making ticket. for no reason i have been charged Rs.1296/- thorough axis bank debit card.

                            then again i tried for the second time it repeated the same and Rs.1296/- debited from my sb account via axis bank, davangere branch.

                            afterwards, third time also i tried to make the ticket but again i have been charged Rs.1296/- through axis bank debit card.

                            I, Anoosh C Nayak, Age 17 Years, Continuing my Study in National Institute Technology -Calicut. I was try to book the Ticket from Bangalore to Calicut thru internet on 24/10/12, the transactions was failed and my mother Bank Account deducted the Amount of Rs.677/=. The KSRTC-OB No: 0B7360678, The Amount transfered INB-KSRTC-OB7360678 IGD 6105072 transfer to [protected]-CAO-FA-KSRTC-E-T.

                            In this matter, i was sent mail number of times to "onlinerefund" Mail ID to KSRTC, there is no response nor Credited the said amount to my account. It is surprise to say, there is no proper Reply, even though lapse of 24/25days.

                            This is the way, the KSRTC Treating to the Consumer for the refund.How I will trust the KSRTC Online Ticket Booking. Please take this case to KSRTC with higher Level Authorities and i will get my amount earliest.

                              I had a bad bad experience in ksrtc pathanamthitta,. i heard about a bus service from pathanamyhitta to GHAVY..this is a tourist place . bus service is at 6 am...there is no any other bus service to gavy....on16.5.2011. i went to the dippo with my 2 wealer at 5. 55 am...that time one of the duty officer haras me& spoke unwanted languages..i think he is the time controller..

                                All KSRTC buses starting from Trichy to Bangalore are Booked by agents before a month for week ends.
                                So they are demanding 550 rs for the ticket with actual cost of 350.They are carrying almost all the tickets so the passenger has no other option but to buy for the rate they are telling.The Karnataka state transpot corporation and also the government of Tamilnadu has to look into the issue very seriously and take necessary steps

                                  I have cancelled a ticked which i have booked online using http://ksrtc.in/AWATAROnline/
                                  which is nothing but the online booking website for Karnataka Road Transport Corporation.

                                  The ticket is cancelled on 3rd of May 2011 (ticket was from Kumli to Bagalore on 8th May), and as per the website the money will be credited back to the account in 7 days. But now it is exactly 2 weeks and there is no refund at all.

                                  I have called on the number they have provied but they are neither responding nor giving proper answer, also i have sent several mails on the same and there is no reply at all.

                                  Please do the needful on this.

                                    my name is Ravi i have been to Delhi for one month and return back on 8/5/11 of this month and went to keep my bags in the clock room and i notice that in display Bord the amount for one bag 12 hours 2rs and for 30kgs 5rs so i planed to keep my bag and all of sudden he wrote a bill of 110 for my 2 bags and 1 troly when i questined him he started fiting with me in valger words and even he was drunkedfully and i went to the upper people to complaint they called some one who work there and scold him and sent him back but still when i went back the owner sed that since from 8 years i am running this no one have the guds to change are ask the rates then what u can do and throwed my bags outside i felt very bad why the upper position people are the conson officers sitting blind are even they are geting the share from him pleas take action on this mater and also the people who work there are very polite but they are under his presure so pleas dont harm them and i dont want my name comes out

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I had booked ticket from Mumbai to Bangalore on 9th May 2011 from Vashi, Navi Mumbai (1.30 pm) for ladies seat they confirmed that seat is for ladies only, but after coming the bus person was sitting (Man) I called to agent and KSRTC office two times but no one respond on that, I was very uncomfortable during the journey.

                                      For taking ladies ticket I had paid more money to agent and he assured for ladies seat, that thins is very bad for customers, I always trust on transports and their services but after this visit I will never trust on it.

                                      Very bad experience

                                        The conductors of local buses are very rude. i travel daily by bus no 116 and 119. I will try to keep the change whenever possible. But each time how can anyone expect from anybody to keep the exact change. For 4rs ticket, if 10 rs given, some conductors will start scolding vary badly in Kannada.Some people don't even understand that they r getting scolded.Some bus conductors even having the change, don't give, instead they write the change amount on backside of the ticket. When asked, they will not give the complete change written and they will again say no change. Its worse with some conductors, they will write the change amount on backside of ticket, when the stop comes they will go and stand in the back of the bus or in middle of crowd so that change cannot be asked. Some bus conductors do not wear the badges to note the names and complain and behave in indecent way with girls. Please take proper action.

I will try to keep the change whenever possible. But each time how can anyone expect from anybody to keep the exact change. For Rs.16/- ticket, if we 20 rs given, some conductors will start scolding very badly in Kannada, they speak in singular for ladies..Some bus conductors even having the change, don't give, instead they write the change amount on backside of the ticket. When asked, they will not give the complete change written and they will again say no change. They will tell to get down from the bus. Its worse with some conductors, they will write the change amount on backside of ticket, when the stop comes they will go and stand in the back of the bus or in middle of crowd so that change cannot be asked. Some bus conductors do not wear the badges to note the names and complain and behave in indecent way with girls.
                                        In village side buses (Gadige) all the ladies seats will be occupied by Gents. If ladies ask them to live the seat, its ladies seat means they will tell rules does not applies in village bus, Even though back seats will be empty. Why Gents want to sit in front seats . Even conductors will also support them. If one or Two seats is ok, But all the front seat will be occupied by only gents. moreover ladies cannot stand in between the crowd. please take necessary action. Hopefully will be solved very soon.

                                        in morning 8.15 to 9 O'clock there is no bus(119) from water tank to CBS after 9 o'clock with in 10 minutes 4 to 5 bus would come. there is no any management and buses are not for people its only for drivers and conductor
                                        Where can I give complaints against Bus Conductors ? Plz. give name and addrss of the principal of the KSRTC Local Bus Service Department.

                                        There are no proper buses from morning 7.30 am till 8am in MAHADEVAPURA(J.P NAGAR) to bus stand we are facing lot of problems, we had 11D & Nw that also has been cancelled, 10C has no timings atall, even if 1 bus comes it will be over loaded drivers will start shouting on passengers not to climb bus, see people those who dont have vehicle facility only will come in buses but not rich.I too knw we have lot of buses to J.P, Nagar.after peak hours there are lot of buses which is of no use. Morning time we have to reach work place, colleges on time.Morning time people will be struggling so much if no proper buse whole day will be hell. So pls help people.
