Im Madhuri T P resident of karnataka, i have booked online ticket throgh ksrtc site the ticket was not booked but the money got deducted from my icici account... I have reference number of booking the tickets that is OB3901612,OB3901708.
Same issue for me.

Ref: KSRTC OB No- OB6885489

On 19/08/2012, I tried to book a ticket Palghat to Mysore for
03/09/2012. Tried three times last transaction was success but other 2
transactions moved to failed transactions but amount 333 Rs deducted
for 1 failed transaction. I previously sent emails regarding this but
not yet received my refund.

    I had booked Ticket from Bangalore to madurai (Tamilnadu) via online payment of KSRTC. My money has been deducted twice from my account. they asked to send mail to '[protected]@ksrtc.org' but mail not delivering to it saying no such mail address exists. I need necessary steps and also i need my money.

    KSRTC ticket booked. — Amount debited twice.

    I have purchased KSRTC ticket on 19th April, 2011, for Rs. 417/-, however the first purchase bearing reference No. OB3604954IG48139100, has not been materialised due to some technical reasons, but an amount has been debited to my account. Thereafter i made one more purchase since the earlier attempt has been cancelled due to technical reasons and the same was successful.

    But in my account the amount has been debitted twice for Rs. 417/- on 19th April, 2011. I kept on following it with my banker from past two months, but nothing is materialising and they adviced me to lodge a complaint.

    Please look in to the matter.

      On 20-MAY-11, I tried to book the seat of KSRTC Rajahamsa which is going from Bangalore to Dharmastala via Online payment. But finally they deducted the amount from my account and seat was booked to some other person. At least, they should have some common sense of refunding the amount when they were not capable of providing the seat. Till today i didn't get my amount back.
      So i request the concerned officers should take necessary...

      dear sir,

      i have booked online ticket on 09/05/2011 via ksrtc awtar system from bangalore to harihar in 23.15 bus for 4 passengers. at first i could not fetched the ticket print out and it showed the possible failure of the making ticket. for no reason i have been charged Rs.1296/- thorough axis bank debit card.

      then again i tried for the second time it repeated the same and Rs.1296/- debited from my sb account via axis bank, davangere branch.

      afterwards, third time also i tried to make the ticket but again i have been charged Rs.1296/- through axis bank debit card.

      now, i have paid 1296 x 3 times for not getting the ticket.
      kindly solve my problem so that we customer's trust this ksrtc online ticket making portal ?

      I, Anoosh C Nayak, Age 17 Years, Continuing my Study in National Institute Technology -Calicut. I was try to book the Ticket from Bangalore to Calicut thru internet on 24/10/12, the transactions was failed and my mother Bank Account deducted the Amount of Rs.677/=. The KSRTC-OB No: 0B7360678, The Amount transfered INB-KSRTC-OB7360678 IGD 6105072 transfer to [protected]-CAO-FA-KSRTC-E-T.

      In this matter, i was sent mail number of times to "onlinerefund" Mail ID to KSRTC, there is no response nor Credited the said amount to my account. It is surprise to say, there is no proper Reply, even though lapse of 24/25days.

      This is the way, the KSRTC Treating to the Consumer for the refund.How I will trust the KSRTC Online Ticket Booking. Please take this case to KSRTC with higher Level Authorities and i will get my amount earliest.

        I had a bad bad experience in ksrtc pathanamthitta,. i heard about a bus service from pathanamyhitta to GHAVY..this is a tourist place . bus service is at 6 am...there is no any other bus service to gavy....on16.5.2011. i went to the dippo with my 2 wealer at 5. 55 am...that time one of the duty officer haras me& spoke unwanted languages..i think he is the time controller..

          All KSRTC buses starting from Trichy to Bangalore are Booked by agents before a month for week ends.
          So they are demanding 550 rs for the ticket with actual cost of 350.They are carrying almost all the tickets so the passenger has no other option but to buy for the rate they are telling.The Karnataka state transpot corporation and also the government of Tamilnadu has to look into the issue very seriously and take necessary steps

            I have cancelled a ticked which i have booked online using http://ksrtc.in/AWATAROnline/
            which is nothing but the online booking website for Karnataka Road Transport Corporation.

            The ticket is cancelled on 3rd of May 2011 (ticket was from Kumli to Bagalore on 8th May), and as per the website the money will be credited back to the account in 7 days. But now it is exactly 2 weeks and there is no refund at all.

            I have called on the number they have provied but they are neither responding nor giving proper answer, also i have sent several mails on the same and there is no reply at all.

            Please do the needful on this.

              my name is Ravi i have been to Delhi for one month and return back on 8/5/11 of this month and went to keep my bags in the clock room and i notice that in display Bord the amount for one bag 12 hours 2rs and for 30kgs 5rs so i planed to keep my bag and all of sudden he wrote a bill of 110 for my 2 bags and 1 troly when i questined him he started fiting with me in valger words and even he was drunkedfully and i went to the upper people to complaint they called some one who work there and scold him and sent him back but still when i went back the owner sed that since from 8 years i am running this no one have the guds to change are ask the rates then what u can do and throwed my bags outside i felt very bad why the upper position people are the conson officers sitting blind are even they are geting the share from him pleas take action on this mater and also the people who work there are very polite but they are under his presure so pleas dont harm them and i dont want my name comes out

                Dear Sir,
                I had booked ticket from Mumbai to Bangalore on 9th May 2011 from Vashi, Navi Mumbai (1.30 pm) for ladies seat they confirmed that seat is for ladies only, but after coming the bus person was sitting (Man) I called to agent and KSRTC office two times but no one respond on that, I was very uncomfortable during the journey.

                For taking ladies ticket I had paid more money to agent and he assured for ladies seat, that thins is very bad for customers, I always trust on transports and their services but after this visit I will never trust on it.

                  The conductors of local buses are very rude. i travel daily by bus no 116 and 119. I will try to keep the change whenever possible. But each time how can anyone expect from anybody to keep the exact change. For 4rs ticket, if 10 rs given, some conductors will start scolding vary badly in Kannada.Some people don't even understand that they r getting scolded.Some bus conductors even having the change, don't give, instead they write the change amount on backside of the ticket. When asked, they will not give the complete change written and they will again say no change. Its worse with some conductors, they will write the change amount on backside of ticket, when the stop comes they will go and stand in the back of the bus or in middle of crowd so that change cannot be asked. Some bus conductors do not wear the badges to note the names and complain and behave in indecent way with girls. Please take proper action.

For Rs.16/- ticket, if we 20 rs given, some conductors will start scolding very badly in Kannada, they speak in singular for ladies..Some bus conductors even having the change, don't give, instead they write the change amount on backside of the ticket. When asked, they will not give the complete change written and they will again say no change. They will tell to get down from the bus. Its worse with some conductors, they will write the change amount on backside of ticket, when the stop comes they will go and stand in the back of the bus or in middle of crowd so that change cannot be asked.                   In village side buses (Gadige) all the ladies seats will be occupied by Gents. If ladies ask them to live the seat, its ladies seat means they will tell rules does not applies in village bus, Even though back seats will be empty. Why Gents want to sit in front seats . Even conductors will also support them. If one or Two seats is ok, But all the front seat will be occupied by only gents. moreover ladies cannot stand in between the crowd. please take necessary action. Hopefully will be solved very soon.

                  in morning 8.15 to 9 O'clock there is no bus(119) from water tank to CBS after 9 o'clock with in 10 minutes 4 to 5 bus would come. there is no any management and buses are not for people its only for drivers and conductor
                  Where can I give complaints against Bus Conductors ? Plz. give name and addrss of the principal of the KSRTC Local Bus Service Department.

                  There are no proper buses from morning 7.30 am till 8am in MAHADEVAPURA(J.P NAGAR) to bus stand we are facing lot of problems, we had 11D & Nw that also has been cancelled, 10C has no timings atall, even if 1 bus comes it will be over loaded drivers will start shouting on passengers not to climb bus, see people those who dont have vehicle facility only will come in buses but not rich.I too knw we have lot of buses to J.P, Nagar.after peak hours there are lot of buses which is of no use. Morning time we have to reach work place, colleges on time.Morning time people will be struggling so much if no proper buse whole day will be hell. So pls help people.

                    I have booked one ticket through KSRTC Online booking portal, but the transaction got failed two times and my money got deducted from credit card of Rs.390.actually failed twice 390+390=780 from Coimbatore to bangalore I had given complaint to ksrtc online refund department. But when ever i call to them they are not answering the call, Almost 30 days completed my amount not yet refunded. Please help me to get refund amount to my account.

                    bus ticket transaction failed — bus ticket transaction failed

                    Below ticket was i cancelled
                    J[protected]/02/2009 CHENNAI BANGALORE 09/02/2009

                    but before 5 mins this, one more transaction was failed. the amount Rs 259 was detected from credit card. Please refund the same

                    KSRTC Online bus ticket booking — Did not get the refund for failed transaction from KSRTC

                    I have done online booking through KSRTC to book my tickets from Bangalore to Vijayawada 29-dec-2010. After the payment transaction got failed. Amount Rs.1102 got deducted from my account. I sent mail to the concern team ([protected]@ksrtc.org) immediately with all my details ( also attached in the attachments). Got reply from them saying that amount will be credited by end of the month. But still the amount not credited to my account.
                    I sent lot of reminders, but no body is responding now.
                    Please help me how to get my amount? To whom i need to escate this issue?

                        Hello,

                        I travel regularly, in the BMTC and KSRTC buses, everyday. But i have seen it many a times, that the conductors and the driver/conductors are missuing the tickets. They just collect the used tickets from the passenger who is get down and then those tickets are re-issued to the passengers who are boarding the bus in the next stop, which is a serious crime which has to be taken under observation.

                        People pay for the travel and still the money is not reaching the govt itself , been used by the drivers and conductors of the bus. This is a crime which has to be stopped ASAP, before it exceeds its limit of tolerance.


                        For Reference the bus i took on Moday i.e 25/4/2011, from NGF to Tin Factory , same thing happened to me. For reference the KSRTC bus Number: KA-01,FA 1583, Ticket issued after lot of arguments- Ticket Number:D[protected]which was again a used ticket issued by the conductor).

                          Although this sounds odd, but its true!! I had a visit to Tirumala from Bangalore recently and had booked my tickets to Tirupati from Bangalore through KSRTC online but i didn't book my return tickets to Bangalore since i was aware that there are so many buses running to and from Tirupati to Bangalore and seats would be available enough and moreover due to the rush in temple i was not able to predict the time to book the return tickets. After visiting the temple i reached Tirupati bus station to board bangalore bus. There were many Airavat volvo bus, sarige express and Mercedes Benz Buses. There werent many people at the bus depot to board the bus, hence i asked driver of an airavat stopped there for two tickets. He replied the bus is full so i went behind for a bus waiting to park in the station for 6.00PM departure which was empty. To my surprise even though the bus was empty the driver said its full, we can board only if we reserved the seats. Soon there were chaos as people were bulding up to board the bus but no seats. Later i discovered the KSRTC bus driver and the conductor had a tie up with few brokers running black tickets. Bus conductor was missing in the bus and only driver was seated for almost twenty minutes after the bus parked for boarding, i came to know the conductor went for talks with the broker on the vacant seats. Normal tickets rates are 390rs which are now being sold through these brokers for 600rs. Broker had collected all vacent seats from the conductor, and inside the bus broker was selling the ticket who agreed to pay him 600rs which was an adjustment before the bus came to board. I was shocked to see the same driver and conductor who told me no seats are available are now going side by side with these brokers alloting seats to people who agreed to pay more money. Since i was travelling with my wife i couldnt take the risk of staying more time waiting for the bus since i knew this would be case for all the buses, i had to fall a prey for these brokers. Finally i ended up paying Rs 470 (Rs 210per ticket and Rs.50 extra was demanded by the broker for seats alloted in front!!) which i feel is a bribe to KSRTC. As the bus moved out of the parking ramp in the bus station, it stopped for around 5-8minutes, i knew the conductor went to meet the broker to settle the charges. This bus was to Mangalore via Bangalore.
                          I also noticed the same process of tickets selling was happening for Sarige Express buses also and one senior officer from KSRTC replied to me all reservations are close due to excess booking!!
                          I couldnt believe how these bus drivers and conductors are making money through these brokers and citizens like us fall as a prey for these wonderful KSRTC team!!!!!!!!

                          Hitech Bus (Bangalore-Mantralayam) — Hitech Bus (Bangalore-Mantralayam)

                          Bus No 6532, Starting from Bangalore - Mantralayam is not picking up the passanegers who made advanced reservations and selling out seats and leaving before depature time
                          Yesterday I was moving from Bellary to Mantralayam. Thanks for having a nice road from andhra border to mantralayam. But it is very shame for us of not having a good road from hageri to Andhra border. Since road leads to mantralaya many devotees travel from karnataka. It also clearly conveys to people, when compared road after the crossing andhra border and before to it, that roads aren't maintained by the state govt in ths part of karnataka.

                          I hope this mail will help authorizers to look in to this matter.This is a small distance but builds a high pride for karnataka since people travel on both sides of karnataka and andhra
                          sir please start city buses in raichur so that students donot get any trouble

                            Dear Sir,
                            I have booked the Ticket from HYDERABAD to HOSPET and HOSPET to HYDERABAD on

                            The details of Tickets are as follows

                            PNR No Dt of Jour. From To Dt ofBook Dt of Can

                            J[protected]/03/2011- HYDERABAD to HOSPET - 07/03/[protected]
                            H[protected]/03/2011- HOSPET to HYDERABAD - 07/03/[protected]

                            The booking payment is done thru OnlineSBI and my KSRTC Username is vijay._mantri
                            In the Booking History status is shown as "Cancelled" as well as refund amount is shown.

                            But till today I have received the money for only one ticket as Rs. 360. in my SBI account.
                            Even after more than one month of Cancellation I have not recd any money (Rs. 507.00) for one more ticket (PNR H[protected]
                            This is worst Customer Service I have seen in my life where Authorities are not ready to give simple response to the Customer.
                            So I kindly request you to look in the matter & refund the amount urgently.

                            Once I recd the response from like

                            "Respected Sir/Madam,
                            We have received your mail and the same will be verified and
                            necessary action will be taken to refund the amount. You are
                            requested to check up with the bank/statement of account for the
                            refund amount. In case amount is not received in in 7 working
                            days CALL: 080 – 22220386."

                            I have number of time on this phone but no one lifting phone.

                              Sir,
                              The number of stops entertained in karnataka sarige bus from Bangalore to Mangalore are too many and beyond justification. This makes the regular commuters to spend a long time on treacherous route like shiradi ghat. When the fare collected from the commuters are of express rate, I dont thick it is fair from the corporation side to entertain frequent stops. The number of stops provided between Hassan and Mangalore are really horrible and it needs to be reduced as frequent buses ply between Hassan and Sakaleshpur. Further, the delay in reaching the last stop- Mangalore also deprive the commuters to catch the connecting services from Mangalore to various destinies. Therefore it would be of great help for the commuters if the travel period is reduced by minimising the stops to one or two.

                                Hi,

                                I had booked two KSRTC Semi Deluxe tickets for the journey from Pune to Belgaum and Pune to Hubli dated 18/03/2011. The bus is of Hubli Depot(Shirdi-Hubli), which comes from Shirdi - Pune - Belgaum - Hubli. The departure time of the bus was at 22:30 from Swargate, Pune. But on that day I waited till 00:30 of 19/03/2011 almost two and half hour and the bus didnt report still. This is the 3rd time I am facing this problem. Sometimes I never find this bus visiting Swargate and again it was the same case this time. I waited for 2 and half hours and I didnt find this bus visiting Swargate bus stand, and we finally boarded some other KSRTC ordinary bus. It was realy pathetic service.

                                And I had no clue where to approach for registering a complaint and finally ended up regitering here.If that bus is not regularly visiting Swargate bus stand, then why KSRTC enabled online booking for that bus. This I feel a kind of cheating the passengers.

                                I request you to take a strict action against this kind of service by KSRTC and also request to refund the amount for the two tickets I booked.

                                  But i have a complaint regarding one of your airavat plying beteween Ernakulam and Mysore.

                                  Incidently The Conductor and Driver was same all the three times. Only in the last time driver was different.

                                  The condition of your bus is very bad and repeatedly having problems. What i donot understand is, Why even after maintenance the issue is reoccuring?

                                  There is fault somewhere in the system and i plead with you to solve it asap.

                                  Apart from these three cases where the conductor was same for all the cases, I have had a good experience with your airavat services. I urge you to do something about the bus, I am complaining about

                                    My self Amol, travelling from Bedkihal (Tal Chikodi) to Ichalkaranji from KSRTC Bus on 6th March 2011 @ 6;45 in the evening. Bus number was KA 23, F- 96 which was Raybag - Ichalkaranji- Raybag. The conductor of the Bus was very rudly behaving. When i entered the bus he gave me the ticket of Rs 14 and i paid him Rs 20. He asked me for change, so i gave him Rs 4 after then again he was asking me for Rs 10. In that case i asked him,insted of he giving me Rs 10 back, why he is asking from me. He started to quaral with me and asked me to pay Rs 10 again.

                                    When i asked the name of Conducter, he was not ready to tell. I also observed that he was not wearing his batch through which we can identify his name and the depot to which the bus belongs. However i asked him this bus is from which depot, he said it from Raybag.

                                    After when i came to home, i called Raybag depot. The person who attended my call was very good person i told him all things happen and asked him to transfer my call to the Depot Manager, he requested that as it is sunday depot manager is not available and asked to call on monday that is on 7th March 2011. I called on 7th March 2011, the person who was attending the call asked me the reason why i want to talk with depot manager again i told him all the things. However is was not ready to transfer.

                                    If we are not in a postion to talk with the bosses of the conducter, then where should we go. Why the conducter is not wearing his batch and ourself being a highly educated why should we have to listen to them and face the situation which insults us.

                                    Can the KSRTC solve my query and give and give warning to respective conducter. As in this case there is no matter of money, its matter of my insult. If the ksrtc solv my query they can contact me on my following mail id:-

                                      Hi,

                                      I have booked the bus ticket on[protected] for the journry from Hyderbad to Hubli.
                                      And at same time I booked for return trip as I avail 10% discount.
                                      On tuesday as I went to bus stand the bus was cancelled due to unavoidable situation.Then I canclled tocket but I got less amount.

                                      Intial cost of ticket from Hyderbad to Hubli=590
                                      After cancellation I got = 535
                                      Return trip from Hubli to hyderbad =535
