Through this forum I want to bring to notice the gross negligence on the part of KSRTC when it used an unskilled regular bus driver to drive the sophisticated Volvo bus as its Airavat service from Bangalore to Mangalore.
This driver lost control of the bus and hit a stranded truck on the road as a result of which a wooden log entered the bus from the right side and exited from the left, killing atleast 5 passengers and maiming so many.

KSRTC has been very irresponsible in doing this and playing with the citizens lives.They have given a petty Rs.2.5 lakhs as compensation, but what is being done to bring the responsible people to justice.
This is something that can happen to anyone o[censored]s.I havent lost anyone I know in that accident, but its really sad.

I want to create an awarenes among people about the need to be aware that a rash driver can endanger lives inside the bus or other road users, The Volvo drivers do overtaking moves that would make racing drivers proud of them.

This is disgusting .KSRTC cannot be spared like this for this mistake.

Yes.I too was travelling on this route in the last month ...and the conductor was sitting and advising this driver who looked 45 + and couldnt see properly at night.When asked, the conductor said he was Rajhamsa driver and so he was advising.When i said I will complain, the driver started scaring us with bad driving and aggressive overtaking...so i kept quiet...when i alighted at kankanady...the driver says ..."Never piss off the driver!!"...i took the flight back to bangalore!!
I completely agree with you, BMTC still have dirty politics in judging the right person for the right job, shud sack the people responsible for such incident and shud be stoned to D*****, Third grade B*****.
I've lost hopes in indian govt. M*** [censored] if they wanna drive BMTC like racing cars, how the Hell they get their licence for such critical job. Forget it maaan its a big loop with a bunch of [censored] around...

    Hi,
    I booked a ticket from Palghat to Bangalore on the 8th of april and the date of travel being 13th of april.

    The amount got debited from my credit card and the ticket was not booked.

    Repeated emails to [protected]@ksrtc.org was useless as they give a standard reply and finally they gave a number to contact for refund and when contacted they dont respond properly and being shuttled from one number to another and finally they requested to email again and this is going on and on.

    Government should take responsibility of such irresponsible behavior of officials.

    Sir, I applied for the post of class3 division of advatise 4/2007 through online, but i did not receive any interview letter I sent all the records i,e 150Rupees DD. My application No is1815. please send message for this.

    while going through the Timings and Bus fare for all the services rendering from Bangalore to other destination , i feel bus fare is not updated.

    eg. bangalore to mysore express fare is showing Rs. 52/-

    KSRTC, Volvo — complaint regarding E - ticket - condutor refused to take E t-cket

    i booked a ticket for my relative ( bhavna ) to travel from chickamagalur to bangalore

    conductor refused to take the ticket as it was booked by me (Shubhakara) and passenger was she ( bhavana)

    eventhough her name was present in the ticket and she showed her ID card, just because it was booked by some other person

    then she took new ticket and travelled, ticket detailes are attached, now i cant cancel the ticket because bus has already started

    Please take action on such incidents and please review your process

    KSRTC — Poor Website

    Hi,

    The KSRTC Website is always not working, When ever you try to book online tickets
    the site will show server busy. Since from past six months the same problem is happening. Kindly look in to that and make it user friendly.

    KSRTC Ticket — Deducted money twice from Credit card

    Hi,
    I made a reservation from Bangalore to Hyderabad for 28th December night on 23rd December.
    The first time when i tried, it said the transaction was not successful. So i gave a second attempt.
    And the second attempt was successful. But when i saw my credit card statement, it shows the amount to be deducted twice.

    KSRTC — Money not Refund

    I tried to book a e-ticket on 21-01-09 from bangalore to Pune thro' KSRTC's website using my ICICI Internet banking facility.

    The amount Rs.960was deducted, from the ICICIaccount, but the ticket couldnot be booked and the "transaction Failed" message was displayed.Even their was no booked tickets shown in my booking history.

    I thought the amount will be repaid to my account, but till now nothing had happened.

    I've sent many mails till now to them, but did not get any reply till now. It's really frustrating.
    Moreover over phone they are not responsing properly.

    KSRTC — Misbehavior of conductor & driver

    This is Shiva, I am from Bangalore. This incident happened to me while returning from Kukke Subramanya on May 2 2009. Me and my friend were waiting for Bangalore bus as we had to go to Hassan. Then one Rajahamsa bus came to the bus stand [ KA-06 F 0476] bus belonging to Tumkur depot. While boarding into the bus, the Conductor asked where we are going? We said we have to go to Hassan, then the driver said rudely that we cant board the bus as he wants only passangers going to Bangalore.
    How can they behave like this? I dont know whom to ask so lodging complaint here, hope somebody takes care of this. This incident took place at 10.15 AM on May-2-2009

    These KSRTC officials are looting peoples money. I lost rs.1299/- from my credit card though the transaction was not processed. It is highly frustating such a robbery is going thro the government.
    There is no reply from [protected]@ksrtc.org . When I call a given no, they again give some other no and the chain goes which finally ends in a unanswered number.

    KSRTC — KSRTC Refund Issue

    I have booked KSRTC Online ticket on 07/05/09 from Bangalore to Madurai. My ammount is deducted from ICICI - 1323.00 but i could not get ticket. I sent mail KSRTC reply back send me userId details. I sent him after that no reply. Till now not refunded money. I sent reminder mail many times but they didn't reply.
    I have completed my SSLC and JOC (diploma course) and I know computer knowledge like excel, DTP, power point etc. At present I am working as Admin Executive in Software company in J P Nagar 3rd Phase Bangalore 78.     I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Chennai on the 26th of May for travelling that same Day.

    The amount got debited from my credit card and the ticket was not booked AS well.

    I have been Repeated emails to [protected]@ksrtc.org was useless as they give a standard reply and finally they gave a number to contact for refund and when contacted they dont respond properly and i lost 462 Rs.

    Looks like this a standard ways of steeling money from people. Its a Great shame on KSRTC...

    Reads please don't book you Tickets on line with KSRTC...

    And lose you money like what happenned to us.

    KSRTC Bus Service — Bus Not Stopping in the Bus stop

    The KSRTC bus no: RT512, Trivandrum to Perumathura, is not stoping at the Chackai ITI stop even after frequent request.Most of the Students of Chackai ITI are carrying concessions issued by the KSRTC. There are only few buses in this route.
    We the students of Chackai ITI request you to please accept our grievience.
    I had tried to book a ticket for me 28/5/2009 to Hyderabad by AiravatthVolvo for journey on 29/5. the ticket not issued, so again I had booked the ticket, . but my credit card amount for Rs.712 and again Rs.712, was deducted on the 28/5. the transaction number of Citi Bank Master Card [protected]. The total amount charged is Rs.1424. The Statement of CITI Bank Master Card shown the deducted amount.
    Could you pls help me to get the refund for Rs. 1424.

    I tried to book a bus ticket (KSRTC – Airavat) Chennai to Bangalore on[protected] through login Kini_gk.



    While booking the ticket I used my credit card NO:-[protected]. Unfortunately the ticket was not booked but the ticket amount Rs.585/- got ducted in my credit card account. I checked in booked ticket details in KSRTC. There is no ticket booked on this credit card.


    Due to that I wrote a mail to ICICI Bank. They given reply the refund amount KSRTC to be settle to ICICI then they will refund to me.


    Plz find the given below attached & do the needful for refund my money of Rs.585/- immediately.

    Online reservation for three tickets from Chennai to Mysore for 19/07/2009(Aihravat) was made on 16/07/2009. Before the transaction completed there was an booking error and the ticket was not booked however the amount has been deducted from the account and has not been refunded. Payment was made with ICICI debit card. help me out with this issue.

    KSRTC — Problem in REFUND

    I had booked in KSTRC BUS Service from KODIAKANAL to BANGALORE on 16th Aug departure time 18:47, trip CODE 1847KDKBNG

    First BUS Tyre got puncturted after the GHAT section was completed, he replaced the type and started the journey. Once again at 2 AM in the middle of the night the BUS BROKE DOWN completely.

    The Driver in the BUS approached the passengers and told BUS is broke down and that you may take any BUS and go to bangalore and that your tickets would be refunded once raeach bangalore by SHANTINAGAR BUS STOP.

    All the passengers were dumped into any bus of KSRTC which was comming to bangalore like donkeys. Passengers had no other choice than come by standing or kneeling.

    After we come to bangalore and approach SHANTINAGAR BUS DEPO they say that the tickets will not be refunded because you have come by KSRTC buses.

    But my compliant is that we had payed and booked for sitting and not come standing and dumped into busses like donkeys.

    Is there any justice to common man in INDIA. Is KSRTC friendly when it comes to disaster handling. Is there some one listening...

    KSRTC — Money refund delays

    Dear Sir

    I tried to make an online boking from Bangalore to Tirupathi through KSRTC website. First time the money got deducted but tickets were not booked.

    I made a second attempt , this time through my SBI online account, but again the same has happened. Amount deducted is INR 1292.

    There is no response from them inspite of sending reminders. Its been 10 days. There has not been a single acknowledgement of the issue.

    Transaction reference details are as follows:

    Reference Number: OB1529712 [Amount debited is 1292].

    Reference Number: OB1529174 [Amount debited INR 528.

    KSRTC City Bus — Corrupt Driver

    Hi,
    It is such a dismay to travel in KSRTC and BMTC buses these days , I think the system's corruption level has reached its heights.Something needs to be done to handle this, dont know whether the transport minister is doing anything to handle this.
    I am a regular commuter of KSRTC and BMTC buses. I commute to and from my office which is in binnamangala, i have been facing problems with the bus conductors in terms of their behavior and the fraud they do to the commuters. I have had a tit wid one of them very recently on this. He almost became violent.Today again such incident happened.
    I boarded the bus from Benninganahalli , asked for the ticket, the driver(who is also the conductor) gave me an already used ticket(identified because it was already torn). I refused to take that and then after lot of arguments he gave me another ticket,he wrote the balance on it.How can he give an already used ticket ?
    To my fortune i noted down the ticket number , because i knew he is going to do some foul play later.
    And there it is , after getting down from the bus, the ticket i got from the driver which he gave me with the balance was a different one.What is this happening, they are corrupt to such extend that for 1 or 2 rupees they will sell their moral values ?? They are not better than the beggars on the street.

    I not personally came across the above said incidents, but I am would believe that because I have my own experience to prove they are corrupt. I say this because, I regularly see that many conductor would ask you for 2-3 rs less than the actual amount of ticket by not issuing the ticket.

    I have denied this all the time and demanded them for the ticket, obviously here I would have to pay the right amount, here he would say he has no change (just a trick). But, to the worst part of it, I see many of them do accept this and travel happily(I hardly see any checking in Bangalore, does the concept is here or not). Ultimately at the end the conductor is looting all the money (for eg 5 * 100 = 500/day) which is TAX free, all of his own. I am really condemn this activity.

    Adding to this, we say lot of safety precautions to be taken while driving, but i don't understand the concept of having the driver cum conductor role, where many time they issue ticket while driving, which involves lot of risk. On the other way it also delays compared the commute time for the passengers, which is bearable but not to the safety.

    I really don't know would this reach authorities and there would be any action for this/ or this is known well know and neglected issue ;).

    I had cancelled 2 tickets on 17-Dec-2009 which was booked online on 8-Dec-2009 from KSRTC (URL: http://59.162.166.116/AWATAROnline/). And till now the refund amount is not credited to my Credit card Account. And there is not a reasonable and proper response from the KSRTC Customer Service Team.

    After a lot of try i happened to contact a member from Accounts Section in KSRTC and on thursday(31-Dec-2009) i was informed that by monday(4-Jan-2010) the refund amount will be credited. But it has not happened. And now i have been trying to contact the Accounts Section and nobody is picking up the call. I have been keep on mailing the online refund email contact at KSRTC and they are not at all responding. Yesterday the address got invalid it seems the my last mail was not delivered.

    I have been calling the KSRTC Customer Service numbers and there are not proper response. The only thing that is happening is that my Mobile Bill is increasing and for what good?

    I have been using the KSRTC Bus service and i was satisfied with their Bus Service. But now i have lost all hope and i feel that they have completely lost their Dignity. Although i will keep trying to get my refund amount from KSRTC back i would request you all to never to use the Online Booking facility of KSRTC.

    I have booked a ticket through "KSRTC.in" for travel from bangalore to chennai in Airavat Volvo bus on 4th Jan 2010 for tavelling date 17 Jan 2010. My Booking reference id is OB1727043. Amount has been deducted from my account but no tickets has been issued. I have called customer care 6-7 time but they are responding at all.Also I have sent a mail also to [protected]@ksrtc.org but its getting failed and return message is no mail id exist under this name.

    I think u r mistaken with the number . RT 542 is the perumathura Trivandrum bus. RT 512 is a minibus which is now scrapped. Those buses wont stop at required stops only when the buses are running overloaded.
    KSRTC should come to an end of its cheating activities by duping people through e-mail transactions.They must provide some system to issue complaint nos.in such cases where public suffer for their hard earned blocked money with KSRTC and there must be provision of tracking the status of complaint.KSRTC general manager required to have a glance to the bunch of incompetent staff sitting around him.

    Amit, i have faced the same issue of money not refunded for a failed transaction. I have mailed them 5 times and spoke to them on phone, but no action have been taken. On phone they told me that the money would be refunded in mynext credit card billing, but nothing happened.

    Do you have any contacts (email, phone) of the higher authorities? we can escalate this matter.
    Yes, I always believed that KSRTC Airawat services was the best. When I had to book my tickets to CHennai from Bangalore (3 tickets-total cost of Rs.3030), the ticket cash was debitted but ticketting failed, for which there was a prompt instruction saying that an email to [protected]@ksrtc.org would solve the issue. My belief got stronger when I received an immediate response to my email that the cash would be refunded!! But there after, NOTHING has happened... Its extremely disgusting to see that a Govt firm like KSRTC fools people this way.. Although so many complaints are registered online, I dont think there is anyone who is even monitoring and making sure that complaints are paid attention to and sorted out.. I travel a lot using KSRTC Airawat and I have seen that they take utmost care by asking for feedback.. But its astonishing that they really dont care about the refund issues. Im sure this is not a rare problem. In a day, I guess there would be atleast 1 such incident happening.. In that case, is it that, all such cases are ignored?? If so, where is the accounting for all these 'looted' money??? Its been 2 weeks of wait now and it seems futile... So, the only solution that is ringing in my mind is 'approach Consumer court'..

    Karnataka State Transport Corporation (KSRTC) — Poor upkeep & lack of hygiene

    As a regular traveler I want to make this complaint to the person in charge o[censored]pkeep and maintenance of Volvo buses in KSRTC.
    I traveled by KSRTC Volvo bus between Panaji (Goa) and bangalore.on 15th December 2010, bus leaving Panaji at 1905 hrs. The trip code given was 1905PNJBNG. I was holding the tickets for seats 5 & 6. I want to make the following complaints:

    1. Interior of the bus was dirty. It appeared that it was not cleaned for a long time.
    2. The seats were filthy and the seat covers were torn and were not washed for a long time.
    3. The fleece material given to the passengers to cover themselves during travel were smelling and were not washed for a long period.
    4. I was ashamed when I saw the conductor wipe his shoes with a fleece wrap meant for covering by passengers against cold.
    5. I was deeply disheartened that having bought the bus at a very high cost KSRTC is not maintaining the vehicle. The upholstery is torn and dirty with grime and dirt everywhere.
    6. My earnest request is that the KSRTC should make some one accountable for maintenance and during every trip there should be certification from some of the passengers on the condition o[censored]pkeep etc in the same way it is done by the Indian Railways.
    7. What I have stated above is constructive criticism to improve ourselves.
    8. I request the authorities in charge to take note and do the needful.

    I am Vishwanath. I had tried booking a ticket on 29th of Jan 2010, wherein the amount was deducted but there was no corresponding booking of ticket for the same. I had been trying different options to get this refunded by calling the customer care & by mailing them, but ended up with no action on the same, though they had sent a mail promising to refund the same.     Yes I do have the same experience. Its been one month I am continuously following up with KSRTC. Neither they respond to the calls nor reply to emails. They should have some escalation nos to report the customer complaints / feedback.

    I am facing the similar problem. KSRTC cancelled the bus which we booked from OOty to Bangalore. While calling they gave the similar response stating write email or call some numbers they will take care but I am following up for last 3 months. Every time in the morning or after noon some lady picks up the phone on[protected] and asking to call back at 5Pm. Calling on 5 PM gave no result as no one picks up the phone. KSRTC does not have any escalation procedure and cheats people with their money

      KSRTC Meghdoota A/C bus from Belgaum to Bangalore on 3rd May 2009 which was scheduled to depart at 9.00 p.m. left at 9.45 p.m and was waiting for some special guests.

      Had to insist on the Controller at the bus stand to sign off the bus... and this bus reached Bangalore on 4th of May 2009 at 9.50 a.m in the morning. A delay of 4 hours that caused all the commuters a great deal of inconvenience.

      Will the KSRTC look into the matter and initiate action and inquire as to who were the special guest's for whom the bus waited to picked at Belgaum. Kindly look into the details of the bus journey all the way and the delays. Why the bus had to enter all the cities like Dharwad, Hubli etc??? when it is a non Stop.

        This is a complaint against the Volvo Registration number being KA - 01 F - 7826.
        This is a volvo which was coming to Mysore from Bangalore.
        The time being 6:30 PM in the evening on[protected] near Maddur.

        The complaint is against the driver for EXTREME NEGLIGENT DRIVING, which could have led to a major ACCIDENT costing SEVERAL lives.
        If I had not applied the breaks at the right time, there could be a major accident and probably KSRTC's image would be in shreds in the morning newspaper and news channels.

AND ALSO THEY REFUSE TO REFUND THE MONEY . I DONT KNOW WHY THIS KSRTC IS CHEATING THE PASSANGERS, BY THE TIME REACHIMG BANGALORE IT WAS 7.30AM . I THINK KSRTC IS ONE OF THE WORST TRANSPORTATION IN INDIA. ANY ONE CAN HELP ME HOW TO MAKE A CASE AGAINST KSRTC AND TO REFUND MY MONEY.

          The below mentioned is the ticket booked by me on 17thApr09, and the departure date was on 19thApr09 & on 19thApr09 i went to my pick up point & showed the ticket to conductor but even after my reservation for that particular seat that conductor had already sold it to some other passenger, and when i asked for my seat...He told me that this is not the bus of your ticket and when i asked him to show the total reserved passenger sheet with names, He refused to show me and he left the place. Then i enquired with the other KSRTC employees there, They told me that was the correct bus but the conductor had cheated...

            Dear Sir,

            Im writing this mail with a good intention & with respect to the safety of passengers traveling on KSRTC buses.

            Highlights

            Route - Bangalore to KGF
            Division - Kolar
            Bus No - KA 07 F 1209
            Driver - Balakrishna - 47 ( Confirmed by driver himself)
            Conductor - Ramesh - 31628 ( Confirmed by conductor himself)(Photo attached)
            Time - 10.30 PM to 12.00 Noon
            Date - 4th April 2009, Saturday.


            Offence

            1.Change of drivers on a running bus with 30 - 40 passengers on a highway
            2.To check weather the conductor is in reality conductor cum driver as confirmed by the conductor himself(Ramesh).
            3.Eating breakfast sitting on the engine beside the driver with conversation.


            I boarded this bus at Hoskote around 10.40PM to Bangarapet, after issuing the tickets conductor put up his electronic machine in front of the driver & began to enter the driver area, but what really shocked was that the conductor sat on the driver seat slowly as the driver moved out on a RUNNING BUS, still no passenger questions these guys.

            Driver came out had his breakfast sitting on the engine & both started discussions.

            Then as the bus nearing kolar, Driver & conductor repeated the same action in the RUNNING CONDITION.

            Suddenly when i asked why they are putting the life of around 30-40 passengers in danger & doing the circus on a RUNNING BUS, below are the answers I got from Balakrishna

            1.We know what we are doing & who are you to ask us.
            2.We know the safety regulations dont try to educate us.
            3.This is our bus & we can do anything whatever we like.
            4.We are not bothered by the Government & no one can dismiss us. etc etc


            This is the kind of reaction on questioning.

            My only request is to catch hold this people & punish them so that no one repeats this in the future.

            It is a sorry state of affair to observe that since 4th April 2009 the complaint is not addressed.
            Here the main thing to be noticed is the lathargic of the authorities.
            I personally sugget the Mr.Farooq Iqbal to submit a written complaint or to seek the reason for
            not replying your complaint under right to information act.
            Hope it is right time to use that axe.

            Dear Sir,

            We have conducted the route survey from Malur Industrial area to Chikkathirupathi route 5 months before, but we didn't get the quotation yet. We are working in Garment Industry in Malur Pradhan Mercantile Private Limited. But till date we havn'e recieved the quotation from Kolar division, we have paid the survey charges to KSRTC Kolar division to conduct the survey, but there is no response from any of the people in office, if we call them they are telling us we are busy why are you disturbing us. My question is will it require 5 months to send the quotation for survey conducted? Please suggest as i want to know the reason why we haven't got the quotation yet?

              Respected Sirs

              I would like to register a complaint on the TRIP CODE : 1917CDPBNG, PNR No J12709499. Below are my complaints

              1) I had booked seat numbers 10, 11 & 20 but when I tried to approach the seat, the bus conductor had already placed some one else in the seat and asked us to take 1 seat at the last of the bus. The conductor tells that he doesn’t know where does the seat numbers fit into.
              2) Amount we pay for the ticket includes the Air conditioning also. But never ever after lot many requests also the driver nor conductor did not switch on the AC. Driver tells that the bus is not good and so he cannot switch on the AC as it brings down the pulling power
              3) Condition of the BUS. Its very much horrible. On the way it started sounding very badly. Some one started telling that A Balloon has worn out in the back wheel. But Never got any support from Chenrayapattana Bus depot not any other busses. The TC at chenrayapattana tells that the manager is not picking the calls.
              4) Very poor support from the Bus driver and Bus conductor. When ever you ask him any question they just started telling us that the Depot people are not maintaining the BUS properly. We could not even sleep for a moment in the SO CALLED AC SLEEPER BUS.
              5) There was a small accident which occoured where the Front right window Glass broke out and fell on us with which we had small Injuries. When we approached for a First Aid KIT, The bus conductor smiles and tells that this bus doesn’t have a First AID KIT.

              I would appreciate a very prompt response from you on each of the points. Frankly to tell you I was a very good FAN of KSRTC. But not for ever from now on

                If we have to travel in rajahamsa bus then we have to be ready to be bitten by bedbugs in the entire journey.Bedbugs travel for free with us through out the nite sucking our blood.Please do some thing on this.Journey becomes so horrible, even after paying so much.

                  I (H.S.Sridhar) was booking 3 tickets online booking to & from Chennai for 21st & 22nd March 2009.

                  After the complete entry and confirmation of payment through citibank Credit card, the operation aborted without giving any details. Also I did not get the ticket confirmation. Whereas amount of Rs.1557-00 has been debited from my Citibank card No.[protected] on 16.03.2009 and reference number for the transaction is 719388.
                  Therefore we request KSRTC to refund the amount immediately & oblige.

                  I have made a online booking for two seats for the above for travel on 28/04/2009 and my KSRTC reference No.08967999.

                  I have booked for seats 15 & 16 which was shown as available. But after making online payment, it displays that the seats not available and contact your office for refund. The passenger name is T V Sriram

                  What I should do now.

                  How to change the seats to two other seats in the same date, since I do not want to cancel. Otherwise how to get the refund
                  Same thing happend to me as well .
                  I (Chandra Mouli Rada) Tried to book KSRTC tickets online transaction got aborted and funds debited form my account .I have not received any money back form KSRTC inspite of sending several mails to KSRTC representative.

                    On 30/3/09 I purchased 2 tickets in Pondicherry for travel to Bangalore on 12/3/09 by KSRTC Volvo bus for which the normal charge per head is Rs 510. Howver I was charged Rs 540. On questionong, I was told that the extra is because of the travel day being Sunday and there is heavy rush on that day. This extra, I am sure, is being charged illegally. KSRTC may look into the matter in time or else it may become worse for the Corporation at the higher level.

                      Enroute from Bangalore to Puttaparthi, all the KSRTC buses stop at a food joint called, "Sowmya Sagar".
                      The cashier is having a regular habit of charging exorbitant rates for the poor quality food provided, and thus exploits the passengers; who have made several complaints to the drivers to stop at some other joint; or to avoid the stop altogether. But all are unaddressed for whatever reason.
                      He is in a regular habit of charging a few rupees above the MRP. (For ex. I was charged Rs. 22 for an apple drink with an MRP of Rs. 20 only).
                      Most of the packaged food items kept on the stalls are expired, and they provide the same to the passengers there.
                      As soon as the bus stops, a person from the restaurant climbs up the bus & announces a 20 minute hault in front of the driver, but at the end of 10 minutes, the driver starts the bus and these attandants at the restaurant force everyone still having their food to push off.
                      Inspite of these issues being heard for past few years, there has been no concrete action taken, neither has the food joint been changed, nor is the service improved.
                      At the end, it is the passenger who has to suffer.

                      Last Saterday I visited R.S.Puram Annapoorna A/C restaurent. Since residence of Coimbatore monthly twice or thrice i took non a/c and some occasions i i will go A/C hall.
                      Last Saterday I went with family kids eagarly ordered Frech Fries ,that waiter taking Superviosr behaving like we asked unwanted things he told not available and he gave choice others for kids.
                      And same way hot choclate also,
                      we r going for relaxing hotels some supervisors behaving like this and easy avilable items also not keeping. I think potato not available in Coimbatore? hot choclate not available?????
                      I enquired about this with Restaurent Manager he cooly replied that because of SUmmer holidyas there is lack of stock.
                      they cont order ptato and choclate?
                      what is the meaning of Customer Satisfction in INdia.
                      How annapoorna become famous from small coffee shop to big chain Hotels.
                      Nobody big industrialists not thinking of CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

                        I had booked the ticket to putparthi on 2nd march 2009 travel date 7th march 2009 through online booking (http://www.ksrtc.in/AWATAROnline, user name;- gopala1978), when I booked the ticket I did not get any confirmation from the online form but the amount of Rs.1112 had been deducted from my credit card, I called the customer care regarding the refund procedure they intimated me to send mail to [protected]@ksrtc.org with reference number, the reference number for the ticket is (0B879374, 0B879422, 0B879436, 0B879457)
                        I am calling to the customer care ([protected]) to know status of refund but they are not responding properly, each & every time when I call customer care they tell call tomorrow.
                        Please tell me what further steps to be taken to get my amount.

                        I was booking Bus Ticket from Bangalore to Goa(journey date : 4/6/2011- 8.30pm-Volvo Airavat). The amount was deducted from my Credit Card
                        account ( [protected]) ... however the ticket
                        was not booked and I could see this as a failed transaction in booking history. I sent e-mail to [protected]@ksrtc.org requesting to refund this amount. I received a reply that the amount will be refunded within 7 days and if not received, to CALL: 080 – 22220386 .
                        When the amount was not refunded to my cedit card account, I tried calling the above mentioned number but there was no response. I replied back to [protected]@ksrtc.org but there was no response. Please help me to refund this amount.

                        THE MOST WORST EVER SERVICE FOUND ON THIS EARTH is KSRTC. They do not have a proper management. You can not find their official website easily. You can NOT find their authentic contact numbers. They do not have resposible staff to attend the phone calls. Their enquiry system is sooooo useless. No one can really get proper ansers from anyone of them. You can not find the real time table. You can never find real online status. KSRTC has most corrupt officials in the country.
                        WHAT ELSE CAN YOU EXPECT FROM MOST CORRUPT SYSTEM AND STAFF?????

                        Cleanliness in sleeper bus

                        The sleeper bus is very dirty. Bad smell when I entered the bus. Bus is not maintained properly. The beds a filled with dirt. I had to clean the bed before I get in. I have experienced it several times but there was no tickets in pvt bus so I was forced to come in ksrtc.

                          I have booked the ticket from bangalore to coimbatore and the return ticket from coimbatore to bangalore. on 06/01/10 i have cancelled the ticket..but i have not received the amount yet. i have sent more than 1 mail and for the phone also no response..Its very much frustrating this kind irresponsability of this bus service..To whom i have contact to get my amount.
                          I Dont Understand Whta the Hell the Bus drivers and Conductors of BMTC Bus services think of themselves, attimes they think that they are the owners of the Bus and dont oblige to the Passengers. They Stop Where ever they feel like and the Language they Use i have never used such kind of words or the tone to my Servants or labourers at my house or at farm.
                          Is there any one to take care of this or this be complained. please let me Know

                            Sir,
                            On[protected] I was traveling by Mysore, KSRTC bus upto Harihar. Then before that I had taken a reservation ticket upto Harihar. But the conductor of the Bus did not help me out or did not clarify regarding that, he said he is no where concerned and again I had to take a ticket upto Harihar from Mysore. I paid before that Rs 435.00 for the same route. I later had to take a another ticket as was said by the conductor by paying Rs 406.00 for two persons . For no fault of mine I was harrased by KSRTC Bus conductor. So, you see that the excess amount which I had taken may be refunded to me. Kindly take early action and see to the matter. The Bus No. KA17F 1009 .

                              I try to book a ticket from BANGALORE TO HYDERABAD on 21st December, 2008 for 8-15 for thee jurney on 25th December, 08 Volvo bus (AIravata) and after processing with all the columns and at the time of payment through credit card there was an error in processing the ticket. and I could not get the ticket and I several time tried for the same and failed to get the connectivty.

                              And I tried the same on 22nd December 08, for the same bus through Internet through mySBI credit card and I successfully, got the ticket vide PNR NO J11627086 TRIP CODE NO 2015 BNGHYD SEAT NO 2 & 3 BOOKED ON 22ND DEC 08, PASSANGER NAME 1. K.V.RAGHAVENDRA 2. D JAGIRDHAR

                              and we traveled on 25th Dec, 08 and after I received my SBI CREDIT CARD STATEMENT I found that the fare amount of Rs 1416/- was debited twice on 21st and 22nd on KSRTC.

                              Secondly When I checked with my KSRTC INTENET RESERVATION ON VIEW BOOKED TICKET ONLY ONE TICKET IS DISPLAYING.

                              Hence I request the concerned officials to look in to the matter and refund the amount of Rs1416/- which was collected twice due to failure of Internet system.

                              Hope the concerned will do the needfull without giving chance to approch consumer form.

                              Dear Raghavendra,

                              I totally agree with you. The same thing has happened to me recently.
                              If you compare IRCTC (indian railways online ticket booking) site with KSRTC then you would see certain things are not clear in KSRTC.

                              I hope KSRTC has built the site with lot of bugs which is a serious issue. You do not have any booked tickets history page or know the status of your refund. Also if you forget the password then there is no way to retrieve it.

                              I hope KSRTC has a long way to go before the public can trust its online ticketing facility. It is not at all upto the standards of the so called IT City.

                              Henceforth I have decided not to book any online tickets in KSRTC.

                              misbehavior of Conduct

                              KA-13, F-1756, the conductor has no manners to respond to passenger and his argument was such that he is the MINISTER OF Transport.this has happenned on 22/08/2013, at 9.20 Am Near Nelamangala Toll.

                                I booked the ticket with KSRTC from Bangalore to Chennai on 14th of Jan, the bus is scheduled to start by 9:15 PM The conductor verified my ticket and allowed to me to get into the bus. I requested the conductor that i am loading my luggages along with Microwave owen. He said that there is no issues and you can take inside the bus. When i reached chennai around 4 AM, i started unloading all my luggages along with microwave owen, during that point of time the Driver told me that i have to pay around 70 Rs for the luggage which consists of Microwave owen. I told them that conductor didnt told about anything the charges and there is no reason for me to pay for the luggages which i carried. Both the conductor and driver didnt allowed me to go and they forced me to pay the amount for luggages. I requested them to give a reciept for the payment, the driver given a small piecie of paper which was written in Kannada which iam unable to understand. I told them that iam going to take this reciept to KSRTC Head office for clarification. Both the Driver and conductor suddenly changed their words and they asked me to pay 40 Rs for the luggages. As i was really fed up with those people i paid them Rs. 40 for nothing and in return they taken the reciept from me.

                                One point which i would like to make it clear is that, KSRTC Bus service is really good and i reached my destination in time. But the worst part is that the Driver and conductor who wants to make money from the passenger. If there is really a charge involved in carrying luggages in the bus, it has to be intimated to the passenger in advance during booking. Once i reached the destination they were telling that i should have to pay for the luggages which is totally unacceptable which indirectly spoils the KSRTC Bus service reputation.

                                I am requesting the KSRTC Management to take necessary action on concern Bus conductor and driver who had taken money from me and created such a bad impact on KSRTC Bus service. Once again requesting you to take necessary action on this. Expecting justice from your end.

                                I booked the ticket through KSRTC online and i made the payment by using my credit card. But i din't get the ticket and the amount has reduced from my account. This was happend for me a twice both the times i din't get the ticket but amount has reduced both the times from my account.
                                How to get back my amount can you please let me know.

                                KSRTC - Rajahamsa — No proper pick up area mentioned inticket

                                Dear sir/Mam,

                                I have booked ksrtc online ticket from bangalore to chennai on 12th of june 2011. My pick up point in the ticket was written as ksrtc bus stand and I went to city stand. When I went and tried to find the bus in the stand. I was unable to find it. I was not alone, with me my mom and my sister were there. When I called the conductor, he straight farwordly told me to cancel the ticket. Time was around 10.20pm and bus was at 10.40pm.

                                I have mail them twice at [protected]@ksrtc.Org but there is no reply from them. Please help me out in this matter.

                                  I tried to book a e-ticket on[protected] from Sathyamangalam to mysore thro' KSRTC's website using my ICICI Internet banking facility.

                                  The amount Rs. 82 was deducted, from the ICICI account, but the ticket couldnot be booked and the "transaction Failed" message was displayed.My account no is[protected]...Kindly I request to refund payment in my account. It's really frustrating.

                                    I had been to my native two days back that is on 4/1/2009 and had to return today that is monday 6/1/2009 I booked a ticket personally from Dharwad New Bus Terminus to Bangalore it cost me Rs. 376 (290 for privately owned transport buses) the ticket number is 7865513 departure time was at 9:20pm dated on 5/01/2009, I reached bus stand where I had to catch the bus at sharp 9:14pm I and my friend(came to drop me) waited for about 10mins at 9:25 a bus arrived labelled bangalore I thought this was the bus I had catch so got into the bus and sat following the conductor I sat in my reserved sit there I opened my reservation ticket soon the conductor said there are no reservations from dharwad to this bus it was already half a kilometer so thought of getting down in the circle where all the buses will stop, so again got down there and called my friend told him the story, he came with the bike it was around 9:37 and told me to get back to busstand as the conductor may alot my sit to someone else if I am missing while returning we found two buses in both buses I showed my ticket but those where not the one but where destined to bangalore, soon at 9:45 we reached to bus stand and there was one more bus we rushed to the bus and showed the ticket to conductor he said this is not the bus, anyways you get into the bus I adjust a sit for as the bus you are looking is already left, I dint understood anything simply got into the bus later in hubli next junction I thought of confirming wether my bus has passed already I went to the controller he gave me the number saying its standing there, I saw the number It was the bus I just came I confirmed the bus number and returned to controller to tell him about the story the conductor was telling me but soon the controller was changed again asked same questions to the next shift controller but very sad this person was really very harrashing asking me to go back to dharwad and ask these things to the controller over there after shoutings and all I thought of its no use to speak to these officials bladdy all the same. no one wants to care and also why should they? only because they are paid or they are in good positions or something else, hence I got back to the conductor who took thinking he may show me the list of ticket numbers he will be having but this fellow was no were interesting in doing so, at this stage what I had to do? adjust adjust adjust adjust adjust in my own reserved sit ...

                                    Booked a ticket in KSRTC five days in advance to travel to Thalassery from Bangaloreon 9th August 2009.
                                    The scheduled time was 20:05, an hour later at 21:00 a bus to kannur arrived, to our surprise when we approached the conductor he said this ticket is for the earlier bus which is cancled.If you want we will drop you at Mattanur which is our route or you can go and get the ticket canceled. On approaching the Traffic Controller in charge the reply also was the similar, If you want you can travel by this other wise you can cancel the ticket, we are helpless we cannot do anything. This was the decision by our manager to club the service to the earlier bus to this service.I am really surprised this is the kind of service we deserve after paying for it. Imagine the plight getting down 30 to 40 kilometers away in the midnight and take a alternate bus. I cant imagine if it were my family was supposed to travel.The similar expereince in the same route another 10 days back.I was on the same Kannur bus departing at 20:00. Just after Mysore there was some trouble with the clutch, The drive manages to take the bus to gudalur depot workshop. It was around 2:00 in the midnight, and unfortunately the night shift mechanic not available, we had to sleep in the bus untill early morning 7:00AM till the mechanic arrived.
                                    Who is responsible for these kind of services and whom should we reach to complain about these inconvenince.
                                    The conductor and the Traffic controller said we are helpless we cannot do anything. Would they accept the similiar service inconvenince.I tried to reach on the enquiry numbers that were on the back of the ticket of which none are active.
                                    Is this what we deserve for trusting the service.

                                    I & My husband had been to Ooty for 3 days, back on 13th Sept 09. For this journey we have booked ticket 10 days in-advance. We booked To & Fro ticket from Bangalore.

                                    But we had an unpleasant experience during our return journey.
                                    We started journey on stipulated time. But as we reach Mudumalai Forest gate, (reached at 12:15 mid night) we have been told that “Can’t continue the journey due to Forest Security on High court Order” We both were shocked by this and along with us there are other Six KSRTC buses stopped on this reason.
                                    Then finally got to know that –
                                    The Karnataka High Court’s judgment on June27, 2009 — banning night traffic ( 10:00PM to 06:00AM) on NH 212 that cuts through Bandipur Sanctuary —Since the road passes through two other adjacent sanctuaries — Mudumalai in Tamil Nadu and Wayanad in Kerala — the verdict, in effect, extends protection to these sanctuaries. Actually it was declared for monitoring vehicle movement through sound hiding inside the bush.

                                    Due to this, we were supposed to stay in the middle of the journey; it was so inconvenient that we could not sleep properly because of mosquitoes & other creatures. Later we started in the morning 6:00AM, because of this we both could not go to office on that day.

                                    But our question is -

                                    1. Even though KSRTC is aware of this matter, why it is running its buses in the night?
                                    2. Why passengers are not informed about this?
                                    3. Why KSRTC not understanding the problem of Small children & old aged people
                                    4. Anyhow buses will halt in the middle of the forest, if something happens who is going to held responsible on that?
                                    5. Why KSRTC want to take up such risks?
                                    6. Why can’t KSRTC block the ticketing for night journey buses?

                                      Last weekend I was on a trip to Hampi and had booked tickets to Hospet from Bangalore for the Rajahamsa bus departing at 11:30pm on 25th december 2008.
                                      The bus started on time and the journey was comfortable for around 30 minutes. Then some o[censored]s started feeling itchy, but we thought it would be due to mosquitoes and we did not bother. But when it increased, we inspected our seats and to our surprise found BED BUGS crawling on the seats. When we informed this to the conductor, he was as if he would not care and just took us to the driver. The driver just casually put the blame on the cleaning authorities and said that even though pesticides were used, the bed bugs could not be controlled.
                                      When we discussed this with other passengers, we came to know that this was a common story on these routes and everyone were somewhat accustomed to BED BUGS.
                                      Hampi being a World heritage center attracts a lot of tourists every year and we feel it is the responsibility of the KSRTC authorities to maintain hygienic conditions in the buses they provide (same to be done for all the buses).

                                      KSRTC Rajahamsa — BEDBUGS

                                      The KSRTC Rajahamasa buses are heavily infested with Bedbugs, we pay for a comfortable journey and end up fighting with the bed bugs all through the journey.

                                      Its high time the Authorities decide on doing something to remove these pests from the buses.
                                      ya i absolutely agree with the bed bug issue. i had a travel from bangalore to ooty on 5th dec in BUS no KA 40 F 395 starting from mysore road satellite from 10;30 pm. bus started promptly and to my horror i found hundreds of bed bugs crawling and biting us. it was a horrible experience and i had fever next day. And when i got my bag to house i noticed some ten twenty fully blood filled full grown bed bugs collected over the corners of my bag. This is really a serious issue as they are capable of spreading diseases and also infest the passengers houses and luggages .when i complained this to the conductor there were was a vague smile and he said that if you want a comfortable journey go in your own car . The ksrtc agents aere toly numb headed and when i discussed the issue with my friends many people complained of the same problem. KSRTC rajahamsa looks beautiful but its a horrrible experience travelling in these blood sucking vechicles. its like rajahamsa tickets for travel and BED BUGS free...
                                      Hope the concerned authorities would have taken care on this. This is a very serious issue; please look into the same. We can atleast bid goodbye to cockroaches & mosquitoes post our journey but we are surely bound to carry bed buds home. They are a very disgusting creatures which are bound to spread drastically.

                                      I have booked a ticket Bangalore - Trichy on 02/01/2015 an amount of 627.00 with KSRTC OB No. OB14269643 . Amount got detected but the ticket is not confirmed. Please refund the money.

                                        Money debited from Credit card

                                        I was booking tickets on 4th of Dec 2008, from Bangalore to Chennai through KSRTC online booking.
                                        The website crashed after submitting the credit card credentials.
                                        The booking history in ksrtc.in shows none. I neither got the ticekts.
                                        Only after I received the credit card statement I realized that the money has been debited from the card.

                                        Kindly let me know how to get the money debited back.
