Canceling Rajahamsa buses

KSRTC has planned to cancel all the bengaluru depot Rajahamsa buses route from Bangalore to chennai or Chennai to bangalore. Planned to replace with Volvo buses.
Current fair:
Volvo: Rs580
Rajahamsa: Rs290

Middle class people who wanted to travel cant afford the volvo prices. KSRTC has to think about the middle class and normal people before taking up all this Crap decisions. KSRTC is a public service department...

Online booking - Server is busy always during festival season

When trying to book tickets through KSRTC website, it always gives error message that " Server is busy. Please try after sometime...sorry for the inconvenience". This happens mostly during the diwali, christmas, new year & Pongal seasons.

I want to recount a horrible experience i had with KSRTC bus. It was during last year when I had booked a KSRTC sleeper bus (airawat or something) from cochin to Bangalore.i had booked from KSRTC website, got a confirmed ticket and was alloted a seat. The departure time was around 9:50pm at night from cochin. It was christmas season and hence very heavy rush period.

Regarding Conductor behavior and improper stop of ksrtc buses

My exact place is Valachil which between Adyar and Farangipete. the farangipete is nearest town place for valachil. so most people will go for buying from farangipete. and for these road there was no service buses except 2( R K buses). everytime all people go by KSRTC bus only. but there was no ticket for valachil stop. always they use to give from adyar to farngipete...... while returning from farangipete to valachil we used to take ticket...

I have reserved ticket from Mysore to Sampatti in KSRTC online on 11/11/2010 .
But when we try to get into bus , conductor did not allowed us.
He said service got cancelled and was not ready to listen also.we cancelled our trip and went next day by other bus.i sent mail to [protected]@ksrtc.org but no reply from there.
money repayment is not happened to my account.
Kindly do the needful.

failed transaction and money not refunded

I have booked 2 tickets on 12/11/2010 in KSRTC online ticket booking service. One from Bangalore to Puducherry (Journey dt-16/11/2010) and another from Puducherry to Bangalore (Journey dt- 18/11/2010). In both of the transactions, the amount of the ticket deducted from my debit card but the tickets could not be booked.

I called the control room so many times for help but nobody answered, also i mailed KSRTC regarding my problem...

On 22/11/2010, I was traveling to Thrissur to Puthukkad. I was charged Rs. 13, which was Rs. 5 higher than fair stage charge of Rs. 8. The conductor explained that fair stage charge of Rs. 8 is applicable only up to the depo, after that to the junction, which is about 150 mtrs in distance, the fair stage point is Kodakara and so Rs. 13.
