I have NRO account with Kotak Mahindra for many years. I generally use my credit and debit cards issued by banks outside India. But, Whenever I use my visa debit card issued by Kotak Mahindra bank, OTP arrives after 45 minutes!! Obviously I could not complete any transaction without OTP. Cannot complete Railway ticket bookings and other payments online.

Further, really problems are much deeper due to negligent operations of management of this bank.

1. I have updated (changed) my phone number abut 6 months back and I can see the new number that I provided on the website. However, it was nto changed in their records. When I do the debit card transaction, I get a message that OTP sent to mobile number xxxxx7812 and email [protected]@hotmail.com. But really that was my old number. OTP is sent to email only after 45 minutes or so. Railway website or any merchant website will not wait that long. Nobody will wait either sitting and staring at computer screens.

2. I tried to contact customer care of Kotak. However phone numbers given on their website are busy which means you have to keep trying. After many attempts, I got connected to their Bangalore number 66006022. the automated voice and options are very long and not useful. Specifically there is no option for Debit card!!! This is their so called Phone Banking

3. I tried to write email; clicked on 'Email us' on their website. There are different options, including Credit Card; but again - there is NO option for Debit card !! May be Kotak management knows that problems related to Visa debit cards should be ignored for ever??? What a mess?

4. Their Relationship Managers - they are all humans, we all are. They try their best. But really their system, management framework never permit these young (or even middle level) executives to complete the works in meaningful manner. The problem is that executives are battling with many problems caused by the system and trying to help customers.

I want to give some suggestions, but seems nobody cares.

    Myself ashok kumar barnwal was holding kotak mahindra card since very long times but on 4th dec.'2017 someone has transacted rs.89775/-through my gmail id hike. I received serially 8-9 otp nos. On my mobile no.[protected] at 16.45 pm and regarding that immediate call to kotak customer care department. You may see call details in attached file. I ask them, without cvv no. Entered how can you people sent otp nos and transaction be successful?
    Sir, its request to you please ask them some questions :
    1. Why you sent 8-9 otp nos.in one time?
    2. You may ask for ip address where transaction has done and
    3. You may see my call details, when people was making transaction - i was talking with customer care department of kotak mahindra then how can they can do that?.

    Sir, i had sent several mails to all concern officer as well as department including crime branch but nobody has resolve my concern. My cibil is spoiling due to this case so its humble request to you, please investigate my concern and do justice.

      Dear sir,

      I am getting calls from a person saying that he is from kotak mahendra, i have taken loan from citi bank in 2007,

      He uses abusive language and threatens that he can do any thing to recover the money. When asked about the address he says goto your nearest kotak mahendra bank i will talk to them,

      Going to kotak mahendra bank they contact that person and say we have nothing to do with them. They are recovery agents.

      They are calling my relatives and friends and threaten them also. They are calling the office of my relative and shout at them. My relative says that he will loose his job as the company does not like the way those recovery people are talking.

      Kindly advice what to do?. I am a senior citizen, now i do not have any earnings. I am dependent on some one to pay for my expenses.

When i visited the bank the employee said will clear my problem on that it self but this is my 14th visit to the bank still my problem has not been resolved this is the way you guys work just negligence of employees, they don't even care about customer problem

          Today i visit kotak mahindra noida sec 16 branch for cheque book request . i have urgent requirement of cheque book. But there is no any statified response i got from their executives. They we continously ignoring me from last 20 min.
          I asked them to give me proper solution to get my cheque book as soon as possible.
          Kotak mahindra bank exeutive didn't ask me for my current address. He take my address from adhaar card and add in bank and open my account thats it.

          Now an executive was telling that first you have to update your address then i told him ok fine i will give you my current address proof on my company letterhead because that is my salaried account. After saying this excutive started to ignore me. When i shout on him then he told me "apse 12 baar bol diya hai ki yaha ka address proof hona chahiye" them i asked hime i don't have now i what to do? He didn't listen me he was ignoring me countinously.
          But i didn't get any satisfied solution from their that how and when i'll get my cheque book.
          I have requested for cheque book from all of mediums:-
          1. via Sending SMS to Customer care.
          2. via net banking
          3. also from cheque pickup request.

          But still i don't have any confirmation that when i'll get my chequebook.

          Today i realised everybody is completing their targets nobody cares about customer relationship. Now i will have to suffer because of their foolish staff.
          I requested to everybody please don't open any account in Kotak mahindra bank till then they improves their services and staff.

            I don't know how can i explain the behavior of Kotak Mahindra executives.
            First, I am not getting the messages related to Last payment day and How much I have to pay.
            Second, I also registered the complaint to call the Kotak credit card CUSTOMER CARE, but not updated yet.
            Third: when the last day comes they start calling after every half an hour with yelling that why you haven't paid yet. But this time I have already paid but still your so called executives calling me and start yelling again that Kotak did not got you payment so you have to pay again.
            Why I have to pay again, even I asked them that I have transaction Id, you can confirm with this that I have made the payment or not.
            Its really shame on Kotak Mahindera bank that they are hiring so disgusting people who don't know how to talk to the customers
            I am really sorry Kotak but your service is really really ###.

              Why you will not return gst? Let me make it clear i have performed transaction of rs 43089 on 28-04-18 at paytm. Paytm have refunded rs43089 on 30-04-18.
              On same day 30-04-18, i have called your customer care telling them merchant have refunded whole amount, so their their should be any emi thing now. Your exceutive told they can see any emi on my card. If merchant have refunded whole amount then how can you make emi after that. And if you are making emi after the
              Refund also then it is fake and fraud transaction. Its bank mistake. So please refund the unnecessary gst charged for same. Else i will take the matter to rbi. I will also post on all social media that kotak is doing gst scam by charging unnecessary gst to customer. So please refund unnecessary gst charged.

              Hi All,
              This is to lodge a complain against Kotak bank that I had requested for balance transfer of my loan no -[SPLN 61482180] for amount.5.5 Lakh..which I received on 31st Aug 18..for that cheque no -253445 .which was issued on 31st August 18. for the amount 229006 INR. It was not submitted even after 10 days that resulted in deduction of rs 6255 by axis bank unexpectedly.It was not deducted if cheque was submitted in time.Not only cheque was submitted late but also made another cheque having no 253819 on 13 sep 2018 for 225706 again deduction was done for the same emi and I had to pay rs 2955 extra which is more that my emi amount, for no reason.
              Second, that Bank employee named as Kunal Aggrawal.. didn't informed me about One Assist charge for amount 3999 INR and Credit Appraisal Charges (CAC) 3000 INR instead On inquiring about this I was told that I'll have to pay nothing as hidden charges as stated above .I was kept in dark on this matter too.I would have refused for B.T if It was informed to me.I am feeling deceived by Kotak bank.
              This is my kind request to you to look in to this matter and refund extra amount of rs.9954 INR...that I had to pay unnecessary ----- Message truncated -----

                Why you will not reverse gst. First of late me make it clear i have always paid total outstanding before due date as per statement i have received on my email. The same is the case
                For my last two statement. If i am always paying
                My total outstanding before due date, how can you charge me late fee. So charging late fee was
                A fraud and fake transaction. And if you cant charge me late fee, then how you can charge me gst on same. You have reversed that late fee, that means their was no charge. And if their was no charge, then how can you charge me gst. So please reverse it else i will take the matter to
                Rbi that you are charging gst to customers without any means. No guidelines of bank are above rbi. You cant charge gst to customer without any reason.

                  We have taken credit card of kotak mahindra long back on name of mrs. Jyoti gupta holding card no xxxx xxxx xxxx 5073 once the card payment made to them was not shown in their a/c then they have imposed interest on the payment which was actually not due from our side then we have given them proof of doing payment on time and they were found guilty but they have not reversed the interest imposed on the payment which was not actually due. We have sent several reminders through mails to waive off the same. Everytime they said that they will update the matter and will send settlement letter but no letter has come from their side. Also they have imposed annual charges in return of which we have asked them to close our card and requested again & again to close the matter but they have not taken action and even started harassing us. They came to home and behaving ill mannered. They are forcing us to make unnecessarily annual charges & interest which we are owe and even after so many reminders not closing the card. I want you to take urgent necessary action on them for threatening and not closing the card even on our so many requests.

                    Sir, the above car loan was availed by us on 20/03/2013from Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd . Company was charging higher amount other than the sanctioned terms. When it was discussed with the co, along with statement, they agreed for reduction the charges and interest. Accordingly they accepted the chq num 038754 dt 07/12/2017 drawn on Axis Bank Pallavpuram for Rs 65000/- fvg Kotak mahindra prime ltd as full and final payment. This was mentioned on the aforesaid cheque and payment voucher is also duly signed by the company, s authorised person. Since then we are requesting the company over phone, through mail to close the above a/c and issue us no dues certificate.We regret to inform you that till date we have not received any confirmation from the company.
                    You are requested to take up the matter with the company and asked them to issue the above certificates.

                        As kotak bopal branch manager has made forged documents of customer and he forced me to forward the same to kotak life insurance company else he will distroy my career in kotak bank so i sent that mail to kotak team and also told them that the docs are forged so they investigated the same and cought vishal patel bm bopal branch and mr vishal has also confaced the same in front of kotak RCU team... still kotak has terminated me from my job...even they know that doc has made by branch manager vishal patel.

                        Dear media team i need your support as i have not done any wrong thing...

                        Even i can expose kotak bank that in bank they teached us that cash voucher can only verified by bom.bm.or sm but in kotak teller is verified the same i have video proof for the same...thats wrong thing happnes in kotak bank...

                        Without any intimation kotak bank can not terminate me.!!!

                        Since last 15 days i was following up with nitin mathur area manager but he was not picked up.my fone and not even given reply of my msgs...
                        I was continuesly asking for the same nut he was not replying me...how could he???

                        Really poor guy nitin mathur...

                          I was supposed to receive my debit card parcel in strarting days of june 2018 in locality of madhapur, Hyderabad via Blue dart Express. I got message about landmark needed. I provided them updated address via mail as no one was receiving my calls. After few days I got call from bluedart representative she took my updated address details. Since then many days has been passes but I am unable to get my parcel. Please pay attentation I will be very grateful.

                          I have not recieved my ATM card yet. The delivery man called my husband to confirm our address when we did he replied he's coming to give my ATM card but didn't come. Now blue dart has cancelled the delivery with status 'undelivered shipment held at location'. I've called to Blue dart customer care and they said they can't help in any way and I've to request to bank. If the ATM is at their location why I can't pick it or why they can't deliver it to my location. Why would request to bank again? One more thing I've already paid to bank for debit card so what will happen to my money if i won't recieved my delivery, as they're not helping me in anyway.

                            I am been receiving call from a person who's name is govind. His number is [protected] and been telling that he is caling from kotak. He been saying me that i have dues in loan which hold rs/- 87000 and not only that he called up my fren circle and even to my family members and started talking all nonsense. Now my question is how can a collection call threaten be done... Explain the collection process relating to such verbiage... Which legal details allow calls to customer's personal contacts and i think i need to grap all the people to whom your govind called up and take police intervention for the same. Would request to pls look after the matter asap.

                              On 4th april 2018, one fraud transaction of rs.11037 done from c/card. Bank claims it was done under otp but i never received any otp and transaction success message on my registered mobile number. Now bank is not cooperating and they are not giving any proof when they sent otp, which number they sent otp? I have stopped paying them but they are claiming interest and penalties for non payment. No one is responding from kotak bank now. Can any one suggest how can i take action against kotak bank.

                                I have an home loan account with kotak mahindra bank and authorized them to remit emi amount electronically every month from my andhra bank account. The remittances were getting cleared for the last 10 years without any interruption or delay. But since february of this year the kotak mahindra had changed their clearance service entity from local to national and having problem getting ecs transactions cleared from some banks and it failed in my case too. The manager at kotak visited my place personally and assured that the technical issue will be resolved and asked me to pay emi for the month of may since ecs failed. I gave to check to clear may emi and the ecs transaction failed in june month too. When i enquired, they faulted issue with andhra bank and penalised with late fee and interest charges for delay of payment.
                                I took objection to this since it is contrary to what i am told by the bank manger. I contacted my andhra bank manager and they communicated to me that no ecs transactions are being presented from kotak either in may or june months. I forwarded that message to the bank manager and asked to remove all penalty and interest charges posted to my account since it is due to their fault unable to present ecs to my andhra bank account.
                                I did not receive any resolution so far and their representatives keep calling me and sending messages to clear the june emi which is due.
                                I called customer service to get their customer support email but they refuse to divulge any information. I want to forward all the information and communication in my personal email account to customer support so that they can see the trail of all communication with evidence. But they are not willing to help me and i am still waiting this issue to be resolved.
                                I am very disappointed and disgusted with the customer service offered by kotak mahindra bank and lack of transparency and wanting to hide information.
                                I will definitely move all my accounts from this bank and urge everybody to do the same.

                                Hopelesee service. There is no Phone number for customer service. My emi has been charged two times in the month of September. This is ridiculous and there is no one to call and check. I am currently in USA and there is no way I can contact the Bank.

                                  Dear sir,
                                  I have done settelment of my credit (4166xxxxxxx9224) on 16 apr 2018 which ref no - 1-[protected] for 7 installment. My settelment is still processing. I have done 3 installment on given date as per settelment letter. But every time i received call from your team and told my settelment letter is fake and not vaild and told to clear all pending payment immediately. I am going to kotack branch but reprentative told please contact custmer care. But i am not able to cotanct your team. Today i have received collection manager contact no. From kotak care. He is pick up my call.

                                  Sir please check and confirm what is issue and also confirm my letter is still vaild or not.

                                  Kotak Mahindra Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Collection Manager isn't pick up my call.
                                  I'm a customer of kotak 811 account and I funded my account with 10000 rs through debit card of other bank, but that amount is not yet credited and the amount is deducted from where I have funded.
                                  Kindly state the reason for this
                                  And help me with this..

                                    Sir, i sanket kumar sekhri make an fix deposit for the period of 90 days only. I asked to mr. Lait kumar that on the dated of maturity 17.09.2018 i will withdraw the amount with interest. But the bank has made it to renew automatically for further 90 days.

                                      He sir/ma’am, i took mortgage loan from kotak bank, and i’m Paying my all emi’s on time but due to few reason some time i been late to pay on time and they charge me penalty for that, and it’s not an issue, but this this I just been 7 days late as my pension is not came on time i got few call’s from kotak recover teams and i reply them reson of my lateness, but today 19 June 2018 i got same call like normal the other side was souothindina ladies represtaive, after giving time of repaybak i just asked her madam how much rate of interest you guys charging me, and how much yet to pay to close this loan account and how much i had paid yet, she couldn’t understand i guess and often replying me the due amount of my emi instead of giveing my total due loan amount after few second when she can’t get me she might transferred the call without asking me, and one gentleman came on the phone named Mr. Dharmendr sharma, while i give my phone to my son as I understood that lady isn’t understanding hindin proper so son can ask her in English, but on phone the sharma ji already came so son has reture it back to me he reply me that why you asking such faultu question aap emi kab bharni hai usme dhyan dijiye or ye sab Jankari aap ko loan lete time di ja Chuki hai, i replied him yes you are right but i want to know again all this and that is my rights at any of time i can ask this questions, and i should know that what is rate of interest is you guys are taking me and what other banks charging, he replied me bhai loan hi kyu liya tha mene kaha tha jab bharne ko okad nahi thi, my son was just beside me and after listining these words he took the cell and politely asked him what is your name sir, where you calling from, what is your designation, he asked him why you want complaint, son replied yes i want to complaint about you, you are just represtative and you should not involved personally with such vulgar way and you don’t have authority to give harassment for loan to my dad, he replied ja pahle apne baap ka emi bhar fir mail karna,

                                      Sir with due respect if any one behind this site and taking this issues to solve please take my complaint and give me resolution, yes i took the loan but it does’t mean that i’m Become slave of kotak mahindra bank, the loan is necessity for both party either for customers or bank, every one taking loan even out country is took so many loan, but there is a way to talk with customers,

                                      Please you should give me some sort of solution against this issue i want That Dharmedra sharma to be sorry, he hurt my son so bad as my son kept asking me dad why you took this loan from such stupid bank,

                                        Massage received from kotak bank regarding delivery of credit card through blue dart. Massage also received from blue dart with details of way bill no [protected] and reference no. [protected].
                                        Till today blue dart is enable to deliver my credit card.
