Kotak mahindra bank bullying its customers to update aadhaar even though the deadline for the same min 45 days to 135 days away as there is a talk of the deadline being extended

I made a request from the chembur branch of kotak mahindra bank to update my passbook status. Service request no - 1-[protected] on 9th nov 2017
I got a mail from their back office saying that the service request was rejected, they did not give any reason!!! On 14th nov 2017
On contacting the branch on 17th nov 2017 they told me that the service request was rejected as the aadhar was not updated.
The request was made again from the branch service request no - 1-[protected] again i got an email saying the service request has been rejected.
They have not provided any reason.

Aadhar deadline is 31st dec 2017 as per the banks
As per newspaper reports there is talk that the date will be extended to 31st mar 2018

So how can kotak mahindra bank not process my service request if the aadhaar is not updated.

This is pure bulling and is illegal on the part of kotak mahindra bank.

    Hello,

    My name is dilip kumar and i hold an spln loan account number 59945180 with your bank.

    Last year, i got a call from one of your telemarketers who offered a personal loan saying that it didn’t come with foreclosure charges or any other hidden charges. Convinced that it was a good offer from a well-established bank, i opened an account and got approval for a loan of rs. 10 lakhs.

    Soon after, i received a loan confirmation email from rengaraaj. [protected]@kotak.com which said that there would be a 5%+st foreclosure charge to the loan account. I was confused, so i called mr. Rengaraaj sivakumar, deputy manager for salaried personal loan at kandanchavadi branch. He clarified that the foreclosure charge was not applicable if i closed the account after one year of the account opening date. He was also nice enough to offer his help if i ever encountered any problem with my account.

    When i recently reached out to the bank branch in regards to close my account, i was told that mr. Rengaraaj is no longer a banker at kotak mahindra. This news put me in an insecure position since he had promised to be personally available for me to sort out any issues with my banking experience.

    I am closing all my bank accounts including the one in kotak mahindra bank because i am leaving india in two weeks time. I recently visited your bank branch in egmore to close the account. But one of your bankers (Miss ashwini, employee code: 03627) said that i can’t close the account without clearing the 5% foreclosure charges - which comes out to a whopping rs. 50, 000! I had a long conversation with her that ended without a conclusion, but she agreed to escalate and expedite my issue. I’ve included the request number at the end of this email.

    I had absolutely no trouble closing a few other accounts that i had with banks as reputed as yours. But i’m really getting frustrated with the amount of time and effort it’s taking me to close my account with your bank. I am reaching out to you hoping that you can help me resolve this issue without any further hassle. I have high esteem for your bank and i genuinely hope that you can help me close my loan account so that i can peacefully move on with my life outside india.

      I'm manoj kumar, a i never used kotak mahindra banking services till now. But from last two years i am getting call from kotak mahindra bank delhi branch. Accoring to them someone has taken lone from bank with name of manoj kumar and father's name sohan lal and he gave my mobile number. I am really frustrated with bank executive calls i clearly told that my name is manoj kumar but i am not the one you searching for. I clearly told them to verify my number find about me then call me but they don't care last call i received from bank on 16nov 18 at 1532 hrs mobile no [protected] just misbehaved with me. He called me from kotak mahindra branch new delhi area. I took this matter casually but now i got tried about all. I would lodge a court case against bank. Its unnecessarily bothering i can't bear more. My mobile number is [protected] and e-mail [protected]@gmail.com.

        Mr. Kumar got a car finance loan against the car and kotak finance did not insure this loan against car’s owner’s life (Which is an option in the agreement). The people at bank say that mr. M. Kumar refused to take that insurance. Now mr. Kumar has passed away and car finance company is forcing me to pay rest of the loan

        • in regards to that i mentioned that kotak bank sold him him so many life insurance policies, why wasn’t this loan insured?

        • only viable reason at this point is, kotak intentionally did not provide him such option at that time, as they failed to their part. I am not responsible for bank’s mismanagement.

        • this branch is torturing people by providing them false or unclear information because they lied in respect to all the policies they sold him and i am getting nothing out of it.

        • mr. Kumar had a civil against him and previous loans were refused, how come this loan was granted to him?

        • now they are threatening me everyday and calling me to pay the loan, so they can quickly cover up their mismanagement.

        Please help me and provide me what should be my course of action, so i can save myself from fraudulent malpractice from the bank.

          Did a transaction of rs 940=00 for mobile carrier payment idea of mobile no. [protected] on 10th, october, 2017 which was debited from my account wide transaction refrence no. : [protected] but till yet even the merchant idea hasn’t claimed the amount of rs 940 and neither the amount was returned to my account due to non claimant of merchant and it has been already above 1 month, and i did contacted your customer care 4 times but there is no proper response from your cc people like where is the money as they are lingering on this matter. So, i would request you take necessary & immediate actions and do respond me and look into this matter asap.

            This is anuradha rasalkar. I am a kotak mahindra card holder.

            Recently i had received a credit card bill, which as usual was paid by me before due date.

            Today i made one of transaction from kotak credit card of approximately 517 /- and saw a balance of only 10000 in my credit card, which was supposed to be 14500/- atleast after deduction of 517 today.

            Kindly have a look as i had already made a kotak credit card payment, yet it showing low balance.

            I had paid due amount of credit card online. If needed i have the reference number of credit card payment.

                    Which was blocked by the kotak bank on 8 nov '17 without any reason.
                    Last transcation of rs.216 on 6 nov out of which rs. 174 was outstanding on my credit card is pending because the statement was not generated.
                    Still i cleared that amount and paid rs. 200 + rs. 200 (By mistake)
                    Why my card was blocked without any reason? It may hit my cibil score
                    I pay all my dues on time, my cibil score is in good shape
                    Are your collection department is not updated with payment defaulter
                    I am really disappointed with kotak bank services.
                    First case was with the saving account, bank employee said no amb on the saving account. But after few months i charged with amb. They i requested to close the saving account.

                        Manish ojha reporting two fraudulent transaction on 14/11/2017 at 10:20pm rs 86.49 to dash another on 14/11/2017 at 11:20 pm rs 72647.55 to worlstores has been made without any one time password confirmation from bank.
                        This is to inform you that i have been issued a credit card (Visa) by your bank bearing sl no [protected] the said card was in my physical possession safe and secured when i received a message from bank that some transaction has taken place in uk through my card. I immediately reported that the said transaction is fraudulent and it has nothing to do with me. I have not authorized any body to do any such transaction. I immediately got my card blocked and reporting the same for necessary action. I also inform that the antifraud measures adopted by bank who has issued the credit card to me that is kotak mahindra bank is not secured and safe leading to the said fraudulent transaction. I am reporting the incidence so that my interest be reached and i should not be made accountable for said transaction. I also request your good self to protect me from any coerceive recovery of account of fraudulent transaction. I have complied the instruction passed by the banker through toll free no. And have done necessary formality by raising dispute form and mailed against the said fraudulent transaction immediately. I immediately got my card blocked.                           Recently i've availed home loan top-up loan from kotak mahindra bank for my abroad educational studies. From the beginning itself they were telling me that it can be used for any purpose like marriage, education etc. After they've disbursed my loan amount after so many hassled situation and i asked them that i need a arrangement letter where it is written the same. They refused to do so. As in the sanction letter in the purpose section its written bt and top up which is a type of loan not a specific purpose and they isn't a single line that indicates that it can be used for any purpose. Now they are just making me wait every single day in their branch for nothing.

As per bank records they dispatched debit on 12.08.2017 through speed post, but i did not receive that debit card. They credited amount of rs.93.75 for issue of debit card on 04.08.2017. I complaint through customer care also they were not provide correct information.

                              I was opened new account at kotak mahindra bhandup-west branch on 10 oct 2017.
                              From mr.*, we have done all procedure for documentation and i given rs.10, 000/- cheque bank of sbi branch bhandup-west cheuqe no. Is *.

                              On 16th oct 2017, i called up to mr.*, and he told me that my cheque was not cleared, by sbi bank and returned the cheque which was given at the time of account opening.
                              But, he didn't told me the reason why it is returned and he stated that returned cheque from sbi, he will destroy.
                              And also request me to transfer the amount by neft or internet banking in your kotak bank account which was newly opened.

                              On 17th oct 2017, i went to sbi bank and done inquiry about my returned cheque, and they updated me contact with your kotak bank, and they will provide you the reason for the same.
                              Then i transfer money to my kotak bank account through sbi bank account.

                              Still after 15 days i didn't get any callback from your kotak bank or from mr. Rajesh pal, about my returned checked, which we had discussion early to destroy the returned cheque.

                              So on 30th oct 2017 i called mr* to know the status of my returned cheque.
                              And he checked in the system and replied, saying that returned cheque was send again for the clearing.
                              So i asked him that you told me your are going to destroy my return cheque, then why you send again to clearing without informing me.
                              But, it's too late for me that my sbi account didn't have sufficient balance, to encash that cheque.
                              This is your kotak bank negligence and its shows that your bank don't care for new customers.
                              Because of your negligence sbi bank fine of rs.600/- for the dishorned of the cheque and my credit record is ruined in sbi bank.

                              and why your delivery persons give any document to any person without any call or information.

                              my atm deliver to some other person and that person not inform me even 2 days
                              when i ask near by person who tells me that your atm is taken by that person then i find it.
                              supposed if by mistakenly my pin also taken by that person and do some wrong activity.
                              then who is responsible for it?

                              why you send atm pin with courier, and if send it then if your delivery person not find ac holder,
                              why they didnt call or inform them ?

                              if he cant inform then its your courier agency job to day before deliver that documet call or inform to ac holder
                              then ac holder can sugest to where to deliver or some other person name

                                  I had done a transfer to my friend a of rs:4000 the amount had been deducted from my account but not credited to my friend account. After 10 minutes again i had done my 2nd transaction of 4000 transaction it had been credited to his account. My 1st traction was failed but till know my money is not credited to my account.

                                    My name is nandhini from tiruppur a person from your bank has called me and said that your profile has been selected for our bank as a operation manager and said to paid the amount 7500 for documents verification and after than rasi called me and said i am ur relationship manager and he interviewed me through telephone and said me to pay the amount of rs 56000 for course and i have paid the amt and gautam kumar cal me and said to pay 11000 to open an account and it will be transfer as a current account after joining and 37200 as a commission for them and you will receive the appointment order with in 4days and these all the amount will be refunded when you join he said me to sign a agreement for 2 years after i have paid all the amount his number is switched off

                                      Six fraudulent transactions were made on 08.11.2017 on my kotak mahindra bank credit card. The payment were done online on itunes. The amount was 7900 (6 times). The bank was involved in the fraud as it allowed the transaction to go well beyond the credit limit. The total fraud was 47400/- i am not aware of the % share of kotak bank. When i called customer care he told problem will be resolved within 45 days and if it was my fault interest will be charged for those days. When i told it was not my fault and in that case i need to approach police he refrained me from doing so and advised to wait for 45 days. It only made my belief of kotak involvement deeper. My complaint no. Is sr#1-[protected]. I have learned my lesson to refrain from such fraud and cheap bank who are in search of duping people of hard earned money.

                                      Today[protected], I noticed some amount credited to my account. It seems like they have refunded some amount after deducting GST. Why should I bear the GST charge, if the mistake is from KOTAK?
