While taking the personal loan Kotak loan execute said 0% is pre closure charges and 0.75% is the processing fee. after i approved loan they deducted 2% is the processing fee instead of 0.75% afterward i raised the complain to kotak service desk, then revert the remaining amount after long struggle.

Now i am planing to close the Personal loan after 1 year, so i called to customer care, they said 5% is pre coloser charages.i called the kotak customer care and raised the complaint, but no use they are also said the same thing .
Please take neccessary action against Kotak loan department and make my pre closure chagres as 0%

Please don't trust Kotak mahendra bank and they dont even bother about customers .

    I want to make people aware about kotak mahindra life insurance basically the howrah branch. They misguide people telling that we are providing u hr job joining fee rs 1000 and u have to recruit a team and take out business from them then after that u will be provided a huge amount salary.
    But actually they make people do insurance policies and u gt the commission of the policies. When u are unable to do policies neither u will get any salary nor ur joining amount.
    So beware of these frauds!!!

    I haven't received the Welcome kit after getting KYC completed and have been continuously trying to call customer care but no one is bothered to answer it, so would request to please get this delivered at the earliest and if not possible, then also please let us know

        My due date for making due payment is on 05-aug-17. However the kotak bank collection executives has started calling me from 8 days before the due date and they don't have the manners to talk to their customers. Also i have the recordings but its not getting attached.

        Request you to please solve the same and stop this calls. These calls are mentally harassing and torturing to customers.

        Also today i got call from mr. Sunder gupta and the tone and the way of talking was so pathetic that i had no option other than involving my husband on call. Since morning this was the 5th call and when i told him that payment will be done today he started talking all the crap and he was not admitting that he has called me 5th time since morning. He was telling i have records and you are lying.

        Till the time this problem is solved i won't make any payments. I have started getting headache since morning because of this executives callings.

        I agree. This is pathetic. Why have a due date if Kotak starts calling the week before due date. And even after payment for couple of days asking for transaction details. They are a bank, they have the details. I won't share such details with some person calling on the phone. Only with Kotak this happens.

          I have been charged for auto debit failure several times.. This is not fair to activate this type of service and deduct thousand of rupees from my credit card.

          By date 02/08/2017, i was charged 1180 inr just because of the auto debit facility which i didn't even request to activate yet.

          I am not paying to any auto debit charge from now on. I have already paid thousands of rupees as auto debit charge which all i want as refund.

          And deactivate this facility.

          I want all auto debit charge to reversed and deactivate the service.

            Hi,
            I have kotak urbane credit card for which, 5435 bill was due for july month due to be paid on or before 2nd aug. I made payment on 2nd aug morning as per screenshot. But after 4-5 hours in evening i received alert that auto debit is failed. As soon as i receive this alert i checked my credit card transaction history auto debit attempt made by bank despite i had made payment earlier. And also they levied me 500 rs fine for failure.

            I have attached transaction history screenshot, it shows i made payment earlier and auto debit attempt was made after that. This is seems to be some kind of loot, and have shadowed bank image in my mind as i have heard of similar complaints from my friends as well.

            I want my 500 rs back as i had made payment on time, also disable auto debit for my card as it is enabled automatically by bank while card was issues without authorization or request from me.

            I was charged on a monthly basis for weekly balance alerts on sms, without any prior intimation. I was not even asked whether want this service or not. I was rs. 17.25 every month for the past two years.
            What is the procedure to close NRI Saving Account?

              I am having savings bank account no. Xxxx2516 with kotak mahindra bank. The bank sent me a credit card in last year but the same was returned back as undelivered because i was out of station. The bank accepted this fact in their mail also. Besides, i received a call from one mr. Ashwini, my customer relation officer who accepted the bank's mistake & informed that the entire amount wrongly deducted would be refunded in 2 days time. However, almost10 days have lapsed but refund is not made till date. I request you to escalate the issue & help me in getting the refund. Thanks.

                This mail is regarding my demat closure. I had requested for closure of account in august 2016. The bank had told me to fill a form for the closure and also taken my pan details. But the closure did not happen. So again in december 2016i went and met my rm and told him to look into the situation. So again i was told to fill out a form and give my pan card details. This time i was assured that my demat account will be closed. But all of a sudden now in june 2017 my account was debited with amount 690/-for maintenance of demat.

                What did this mean? My demat was still not closed. Then again i went to the bank with a letter from kotak which said that my account was closed. The explanation they gave was that my trading account was closed and not the demat account. Now why was i not informed about this. Why should i bear the charges for the mistake made by the bank? Also they have told me that reversal is not possible for demat account. Why not? Taking money is possible and reversal is not?
                This bank is not providing good service to customers. I have already written so many mails to them, but each and every time they close the service request or the query id created without even contacting me.
                What does this mean? Such a big bank cannot provide service and a mere 690/- reversal for the mistake made by their executives.
                Requesting you to take strict action and provide me with a solution.

                P. S. :pls find below the form attached for closing my demat account. I was later informed in june 2017 that this was the form for closing my trading account. How am i supposed to know which form for what. I just filled the form they gave me. Nowhere it is mentioned trading closure form. So whose mistake is this? They are just cheating people.

                Today the bank people called after such a long time and asked me if I could provide them with the acknowledgement. I had already informed them that since I had given the closure form in Dec 2016, and as I thought that my account was closed, I dint pay much attention this. How do they expect me to safeguard a piece of paper for more than 7months? But still they keep insisting for that piece of paper which is only an excuse that they don't want to pay the amount. Although I have provided them with the letter from kotak that I had received, they keep asking me for that acknowledgement which I actually don't remember if I was even provided with one. This is how this bank takes care of its customers.
                Each time my complaint request gets closed automatically without contacting me, but this time only because I have raised the complaint here, I have received a call. Hope at least this time it works. I am only asking them what is rightfully mine to return to me.
                This has always been a problem with Kotak bank and they have never provided good service which I have experienced from the time I opened my account.

                    I have a personal loan running with you guys (Spln[protected] and when i decided to make the foreclosure payment for the same all the trouble started. The foreclosure that the person sent to me on 24th july’17 didn't had the neft details in it, so i mailed you guys again as the phone banker was not able to provide me with the details. Then when i received the details after a day or two, i added the account in my bank account as a beneficiary, as you know that it takes 48hrs to transfer a amount greater than 1lakh. I was aware of the situation that i will need to pay the extra interest, so i called the customer service desk the next day and the lady said that there is an amount of rs602 more that i need to pay as the extra interest, i said fair enough. So made the payment of rs602 and then when i called you guys after 2 hrs (Which you mention) the line was busy and after that customer service team had a day off (6pm). Now when i called today to check if the payment is being done the rep. (Rahul) told me that i need to again make a payment of rs78 as i didn’t call you guys. What kind of logic is that, it’s ridiculous and simply frustrating. The customer service is really bad, your representative are not at all customer centric.in fact they blame the customer itself if he complaints, complaining means unprofessional behaviour as per your representative (Rahul to be specific), then i said i want to talk to your supervisor he put me on hold for 5 min. (Missing the sla i guess) and then hung up the phone on me.
                    Out of my expectation the supervisor (Archana) gave me a call, but to no relief she was continuously repeating to pay rs78. Then when i insisted she said that she will talk to the operation manager, then again after a long hold she came back and said that if the branch manager approves it then it could done. She then called me back after 5 min stating that the emi (Rs5032) would be debited from my account for which i said i am ware off, then she said that if the branch manager doesn’t approve the waiver for rs78 then the amount would be deducted from the emi amount which in any case you would be refunding to me. To my wonder she also stated that the per day interest would be charged, which means that the time taken by your employee to approve or reject the waiver would cost me. Such a shame.
                    I done with kotak mahindra bank, i have made the payment of rs80 (Mind it more than you asked for) and will call you back to close this account once and for all. I will ensure that i get this complaint on the social media as well so that people are aware what kind of service does kotak mahindra bank provides. Never in my life i have experienced such an unprofessional assistance.
                    The best part is kotak will not allow you to lodge a complaint as well, as all their email address and online complaint form does not work...

                      My savings account has been created automatically when i have been given with credit card of this bank and at that time i was not asked to visit any of the branches or i was not asked to submit any documents. However, now i blocked my credit card paying all my dues and i do not want to continue any of the transaction and hence, want to close the account which was created by default. Account got created because of credit card & i closed credit card however to close the savings account i was asked to visit bank personally & submit the documents which is ridiculous. Hence, i kindly request any of the bank personality to take my complaint and resolve this issue by closing my account.

                          Please do not ever ever get this company's credit card. They have so many hidden fees that was not disclosed to me when i signed up. Plus they call you 10 times a day to remind you to pay the due amount before the deadline. I couldn't pay the min amount on time once and they bombarded me with calls 24x7, even after i told them that i will clear it the next week, they said they will send someone to my place to collect it, that was for a mere sum of 2000 rupees. I regret ever getting this card. Teach your customer care people to talk better.

                            I am using kotak credit card by paying yearly maintenance fee of 500rs and on top of this kotak bank is charging me 500rs on my credit card bill from past 3 months as auto debit failure fee.

                            Why kotak bank is not letting users to know these kind charges? If they charging like this then why need to pay 500rs as yearly as most all other company giving credit card for free. Quetion arises why i need to use kotak credit card?

                            Soon after registering Complaint here I got call from one guy [protected] and he asked my Card number and all and made transaction of rs 10000 at UDIO and 15000rs at The Mobile Wallet and even tried to transact 10000 at Mobikwik (thank fully it is not approved due to insufficient limit).

                            I am going to register Police Complaint agisnt Consumer Complaints, and even Kotak Bank along with that mobile number ([protected])
                            Kotak Customer Care Center : do please call me @ [protected], I tried calling your service number[protected] but couldn't able to speak your executive on top of it, , you dont provide Free Customer Tele Service which is given by other banks :( :( :(

                              I am writing to from bangalore.

                              I have sent mail on 12th july asking for foreclosure of my loan with following details:
                              Loan: spln[protected]

                              Due to your delay in sending the statement, now i have to pay extra emi for this month too. Please make foreclosure procedure simple like other players. I also hold an account in your bank, now i am wondering if it is worth be associated with you.

                              I am repeatedly calling your branches to get some information. All people in customer care do not have any information about anything, why is there a call center? Its as if a old school banks. Below we will talk about your foreclosure procedures.

                              Foreclosure rules:
                              1) intimation before 30 days: you will take 1 week to send a mail which says that we need to wait for 15 days to get loan repayment statement. There itself we lose 3 weeks
                              2) we need to foreclose before 7 days of next emi: is this possible after we lose 3 weeks for your first rule? Do you have brains?
                              3) foreclosure charges: have you mentioned about this when you lend the loan?

                              According to your policy i should get the foreclosure statement in this week, coming 5th is my emi date. What you are special from other banks that you are acting like this? Is there any responsible senior member in your bank or board who can answer this?

                              These idiotic rules will not workout for long time. Please dont push me to make some unpleasant decisions.

                                    The procedures of this bank are onerous and cumbrous. For instance if one forgets his cheque book and wishes to withdraw money one has to provide a proof of identity even when one is personally known to the personnel there
                                    My pan and aadhar cards are in variants of my actual name. They have however been legally linked as well as linked in the records of the bank. And yet when called upon to have both the variants of my name reflected in my account, i am asked to wait until the “process” is approved.
                                    The procedures are unreasonable, arbitrary, contrary to standard practice and are beyond the dictates of the reserve bank and the government. It is a case of being more “popish than the pope”. Even the process of lodging grievances (Not complaints, mind you) are cumbersome and one has to wait 7 full days for a response, in this age when time is at a premium.
                                    . The supervisor – there was no manager at the time - of their margao, goa branch was discourteous and pedantic. She declined to accept my aadhar card downloaded from the internet on that it was an ecard. There is nothing like an ecard in aadhar.
                                    I can honestly say that i receive better service in a nationalized bank that in this bank

                                      I've been asking many years to kotak customer executives to update the customer relationship manager who will be the poc for me.

                                      So far it is not updated even i gave many complaints and the person is tagged to me who already left the company.

                                      I'm not sure how kotak bank is managing/maintaining the customer information.

                                      Customer relationship manager details need to update who is active asap.
                                      Kotak Mahindra Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      Someone call from this no.[protected] and ask about adhaar number and debit card number.Again n again call from this number.
