I tried to withdraw an amount of Rs.5000 on the 14th of this month from the citi bank ATM located in my office cafeteria(Huawei Technologies India pvt, bangalore). My account is in Kotak bank. Right after I made the withdrawal attempt, I received a receipt saying that my transaction had failed. But my account got debited with Rs.5000. On 14th itself, I lodged a complaint at the Kotak bank portal on the link: http://www.kotak.com/kotak_bank_cusotmer_service_center.html
and I waited for a response from the bank on the 15th. But I did't get any response from the bank for the complaint I lodged. So I called on the online customer care number [protected]. But I could find no option to register the complaint there. Following which, I waited for 7 days, which is normally time taken by NORMAL banks to credit back the failed transaction
amounts to their customers. But still the amount was not credited back. After all these, I called the bank personnel today, on the 22nd of March. I explained everything to her and asked for help to sort this out. She asked me to call the automated customer care number, [protected], again. I told her about the futile attempts that were made by me by calling this same number. She insisted that I call again and as a result, I tried calling again. But still I couldn't find any option to register the complaint. So I called the bank again. But the calls were either cancelled or not picked up.At last call got connected.This time they were pretty rude and told me that they don't have any time for this. They said giving me the automated customer care number is all they can do and that the rest is not their responsibility. I asked them to at least give me proper directions on lodging the complaint. Still they said the same thing and disconnected the call.
This is what happened to a normal citizen of this country who opened an account on a recognized bank like Kotak bank. The people who are supposed to help the customers are doing exactly the opposite of what they should be doing. I tried my level best to reason with this bank and I don't think I should take any more of this disrespect. I need justice
to be served for me and the bank be held responsible for their actions. I have already had enough of this. Considering the mental pain that I went through because of the
irresponsibility of Kotak bank, I feel like I should sue this bank on a much greater level. I regret opening an account with Kotak bank and would never recommend Kotak bank to anyone else.

failed transaction. Hoping for necessary actions to be taken at the earliest possible.

Kotak Mahindra Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Please dont beleive kotak811 its a big scam as i faced issues with them and the customer support of kotak god should knows what they speak to the customers.
