I have created account in ING vysya salary on march its converted to the Kotak after that every month they are detecting Rs.694 from my account i went and asked to the bank person i didn't get any proper reply. in my account statement there is no indication of any charge.     I tried to withdraw an amount of Rs.5000 on the 14th of this month from the citi bank ATM located in my office cafeteria(Huawei Technologies India pvt, bangalore). My account is in Kotak bank. Right after I made the withdrawal attempt, I received a receipt saying that my transaction had failed. But my account got debited with Rs.5000. On 14th itself, I lodged a complaint at the Kotak bank portal on the link: http://www.kotak.com/kotak_bank_cusotmer_service_center.html
    and I waited for a response from the bank on the 15th. But I did't get any response from the bank for the complaint I lodged. So I called on the online customer care number [protected]. But I could find no option to register the complaint there. Following which, I waited for 7 days, which is normally time taken by NORMAL banks to credit back the failed transaction
    amounts to their customers. But still the amount was not credited back. After all these, I called the bank personnel today, on the 22nd of March. I explained everything to her and asked for help to sort this out. She asked me to call the automated customer care number, [protected], again. I told her about the futile attempts that were made by me by calling this same number. She insisted that I call again and as a result, I tried calling again. But still I couldn't find any option to register the complaint. So I called the bank again. But the calls were either cancelled or not picked up.At last call got connected.This time they were pretty rude and told me that they don't have any time for this. They said giving me the automated customer care number is all they can do and that the rest is not their responsibility. I asked them to at least give me proper directions on lodging the complaint. Still they said the same thing and disconnected the call.

    This is what happened to a normal citizen of this country who opened an account on a recognized bank like Kotak bank. The people who are supposed to help the customers are doing exactly the opposite of what they should be doing. I tried my level best to reason with this bank and I don't think I should take any more of this disrespect. I need justice
    to be served for me and the bank be held responsible for their actions. I have already had enough of this. Considering the mental pain that I went through because of the
    irresponsibility of Kotak bank, I feel like I should sue this bank on a much greater level. I regret opening an account with Kotak bank and would never recommend Kotak bank to anyone else.

    I have attached a screen-shot of my call history to emphasis the number of attempts I made to sort this issue out with the bank. I have also attached the receipt indicating the
    failed transaction. Hoping for necessary actions to be taken at the earliest possible.

      Still we doesn't received any document for above, we called many time to your costumer no. still no response. Its seems to be fraud. Please investigate in top priority base, other wise i shall take legal action on bank.

        It is a fact of disgrace that I had to submit a complain as there has been no justified action taken on this ground.

        I opened an account with kotak in last june, 2016 where a kotak representative Srinivas Nalla (phone number - [protected] Madhapur Hyderabad branch) came up to my office to help me opening this account.I filled all the related documents for opening and at the time of filling the documents I clearly mentioned him that I have no interest in opening a Demat Account.But when my account was finally opened I was getting kotak demat account alerts.So I called him to ask the reason behind this.He stated that the demat account is free of charge maintenance for a year though I insisted him to close this account.He still told me to keep the account as anyways there are no charges in keeping this account.After 10 months I am receiving a debit mail of Rs. 1156.30/- which needs to be cleared out to close this Demat account.If this amount is not paid off right now this amount will increase in future with additional charges and taxes.
        I went to Kotak securities, Secunderabad where I was told the same on closing the account . But when I tried to explain that this account was opened beyond my interest they claimed that the representative who opened the account is from banking sector and the kotak securities is not dealing with that.
        Even they provided me the monthly charges log where I have been subscribed to some offers right from opening of my account. I am trying to reach the representative now he is avoiding my calls or telling me that he will get back to me soon.

        I have no clue whom to reach out now as I tried all possible ways to escalate this to higher management of kotak.
        Please address this ASAP.

          It is not a trustful bank. i am very disappointed i earn money working day and night they trapped me did not tell me that they will change my zero balance salary account type at time of account opening and they started deducting 1000 rupee every month(non minimum balance maintenance fee) which means a lot for me now i realized they deducted 4000 rupees so far. i am very disappointed   they are saying they will return only 2000 rupee if i deposit 50000 rupee for three month this is so pathetic and they are taking advantage of my situation . i am very very disturbed :(.
          My point is they did not say that they will do this at time of account opening, i do not have time to read 100s of email that kotak bank send me every day. and they did not inform me the exact amount of money they deduct as non minimum balance maintenance fee. please avoid this bank your money is not safe here.

            I'm was holding salary account with this bank for past 3 years where they upgraded my debit card to gold, now I had to convert to savings account where they asked to maintain MAB and converted my debit card to regular which i did, all of a sudden they took 570 from my account when asked for reason they replied that my debit card (which was replaced earlier) now its dormant and hence the charge how stupid of these ppl to charge for a debit card that's dormant for 2 years now as soon i converted my account.

            They have worst customer care where they make you to roam here and there but you will never get a proper answer.

              Kotak Mahindra Bank has fraud business services in all sectors. Debit Cards and Debit Cards. They charge more money than actually they deserve. I have been paying lot more than what I took from them. I feel it is better to take money from individual brokers than Kotak Mahindra Bank. Their fraud business should be closed immediately to save poor people from being robbed by this fraud bank.

              Kotak Mahindra Bank is the WORST and FRAUD banking service providers in India. There is no meaning to SERVICE. They deserve only the words FRAUD.. ROBERY.. CHEATING Business holders. They are indian bank, but NO TOLL FREE FOR INDIA... Other Contries can contact them for TOLL FREE... You think Indians are stupid??

              They will not give you any extra money or points. They only take from your money and give it back as 10% as a gift to you. So, it is similar to buying more expensive gift for yourself with your own money..

              I have used urbane gold credit card of kotak mahindara bank to purchase services/products of cost approaximately 14000 rs. But I did not get any credit points.
              Kotak Mahindra Bank hasfraud banking services.

              Rs. 800+ charge for other ATM Withdraws.

              10000+ Charge for not maintaining minimum balance.

              1000+ for delayed credit card payments.

              One Purchase= Service Tax+Conversion Charge+Interest Charge+Actual MRP….

                My kotak CRN number is[protected] and i have been levied amount of 517 and 402 on 12.03.2017 and your customer care has given a statement that the charges are because of non maintenance of Minimum amount.

                As per the documents i have signed there is no where mentioned that the minimum average balance should be 10000 in a month and when i have raised this concern with customer care they said that the branch will contact me and until now i didn't get a clarification on the same.

                Hi Team,

                I took a personal loan with Kotak Bank around 7 months back and the number of the same is SPLN[protected].

                I have submitted my documents for 3 times until and until now ECS has not been activated and your customer service doesn't even have an idea of the ETA and they provided irrelevant dates to me and also i have observed an additional charges of 159/- has been levied even though i never missed an EMI from my end.

                    Charges for closing the bank account having customer id[protected]

                    I had a salary account in ING Vysaya Bank (now at present kotak mahindra bank) in 2014. I left that company and after few months I stopped using the bank account.
                    I had contact with customer care to why deduct 1700INR in my account they told you didn't maintain Minimum amount in your account (Minimum amount 25000INR) i asked 25000 is not my salary then how to maintain then he was suggest to me than closed your account . Then I had contact with kotak mahindra branch to closing of account then I had made a request with kotak mahindra bank bank to close that account as I was not using it then I came to know that they have converted my zero balance savings account to some other account which was never communicated to me. I used to get sms on my registered mobile number about the balance and other information but i never got any sms that I have to maintain any minimum balance in that account. when I went to bank and raised a request to close the account they told me to pay 3300 INR to close the account. My issues is when they changed my account from zero balance account to some other account why this was not communicated to me and deduct my 1700INR my account.
                    why only for closure I have to pay. ALso every financial year bank does their calculations then why dinthey informed me last year that I have some debt with this account. My Ing vysya customer id is[protected] can you please help me in that ??

                      Hi,

                      It has been 20days ever since i have submitted my documents to open my Salary account with my new employee FIS and til date, my account status is Inactive.

                      I am deeply peeved by the services.and your hostile responses so far . I raised a complaint on 11.3.17 (1-[protected]) and i have not got any callback as promised. I valled up again on 17th march but no assistance was provided.

                      I called up Kotak customer 19th march from my registered no and the approach of the supervisor Vinay Banghera appeared lax and uninspiring. He seemed to be Going with the motions and unperturbed by my concern.

                      I am a lower middle class employee and with no salary account yet, i am getting the jitters now, clueless with my salary account status and dreading month end when i may be handed over a cheque or maybe nothing.

                      You are my last resort and I entreat you to look into the matter.

                        I have a home loan in kotak mahindra bank ltd.in the name of ankit c. Makwana with 10.50% rate. And now i transfer my loan to other bank and i have required for document to submit to other bank so i will get a lesser % rate from other bank but bank staff's two or three persons are not providing me a document in time and harresse me. I have paid installments in time to time. But the bank staff's two or three person always do the joke and do not take matter seriously.
                        As per bank rules i give the notice to the bank for closure of my loan before a month and after a 1.5 month i have steel not have a required documents.

                        So take a action if possible.

                            I have Kotak 3in 1 account and I need to update KYC detail to buy mutual fund. KYC detail for my bank account and Equity has already been done.

                            I visited both Kotak security and Kotak bank and no body was ready to accept KYC form.

                            After visiting again and again they accepted my form and told KYC will be updated in 3-4 days.

                            It has been 1 month now and my KYC has not been updated. I called the relationship manager and he is saying no such request has been processed.

                            He is again asking me to visit the branch once more.

                            I am working and I cant afford so much work hours to visit branches again and again.

                                As per credit card statement of January 2017, paid Rs 200 on its due date. on the same day, kotak put the charges for auto debit failure. In Feb17 statement it said Rs. 576 . And as on today it says Rs 1150 which is totally unacceptable. The Feb17 statement should have said only rs 199 (Annual Fee). In between Customer care asked me to pay Rs 576. But why should I pay 377 extra. When I replied them again then there was no reply.

                                Nothing, worst service &system ever. Pls don't open any account with them. I think they use free transaction management system. Even after you pay certain amount on due date they charge you saying auto debit failure with interest.

                                  I used the kotak debit card in mumbai at merchant yuvati (Dadar) for a bill of ₹9000 dated 15th march 2017. On first attempt the card was declined and the transaction was completed on the second attempt. I checked the bank account statement that the money was paid twice. I approached the merchant for refund and they showed us and gave us the copy of the latest receipt of only ₹9000

                                    Sr#1-[protected] closed how closed my this request as my problem is not resolve i want to file a case against person how closed my request even that lady assure me that she will call after 2 days as off on holy festival now u guys closed my request without solution

                                    I really fed up with you guys no solution.
                                    Again there is now issue that 3200 debit from account transaction decline 11 march 2017 file a complaint on your told number [protected] informed me that you may get revert in next 24 hours now 6 days over you guys dot have watch..
                                    I want my money back within 2 days if you guys do not have any authorization five me in written so that i will send you a legal notice from court..

                                      I have sent this Complaint quite a long time back wherein no revert received, There is a LPC Charges as well as Interest levied with no faults of mine as no Email Received as well no SMS received on time.

                                      I request please reverse the said amount from last month till date, I will be happy to make the payment

                                      I am yet to get revert on complaint sent via Website regarding non receipt of bill in last payment & due to which LPC applied on my card with Interest as well.

                                      Also i am yet to pay this month bill which is overdue by 4 days, Need to see some mail regarding same.

                                      Please expedite.

                                      Also i want to cancel the Card as its very low in limit & i am not getting proper reply from customer care as well as no bills(hardcopy) on time."

                                        I received the following message now:

                                        "Thank you for the auto debit from your Kotak Bank A/c xxxx2620 of Rs.573.85 to Kotak Card No.xxxx5848 on 15 Mar 2017"

                                        But I have not opted for any such debit from my SB a/c. It is ridiculous to receive such a message. Please reverse the same amount and be credited to my a/c.
