I never tried myself opening an account in Kotak Mahindra. Agent asked many times and he explained about benefits with KM account. Then decided to open a salary account. I asked bank agent while opening an account, are there any charges if I not change my Salary account. He said, no sir you will not be a charge. Due to some reasons, I did not change my salary account. I did not get any intimation about charges and simply deducted 4000 rupees as minimum balance not maintaining. I did not get any communication on minimum balance maintenance. This my hard earned money. How can you deduct such a big amount without informing your customer? I am using ICICI and CITI account for 5 years and they never cheated me like this. Friends, please think twice before opening an account with Kotak Mahindra.

      I had swiped my Kotak bank debit card at a hotel, and got an sms stating the amount was debited from my account. But the card swiping machine was reset before printing the receipt and the transaction seems to be aborted.

      Upon checking the last 3 successful transactions from that machine, mine was not present. I had to pay the amount again.

      Then I tried to contact Kotak bank customer care to complain about it. After struggling for around one hour, I am unable to succeed in it. Due to the internal error at Kotak (their voice message mentioned that), I couldn't tell them.

      Then I had sent my complaint through e-mail. Even after that I tried to contact the customer care for the past 3 days and couldn't contact them.

      So far no action has been taken in my case and am just waiting.

        I ordered a product on Amazon on 13th December, 2016 and it get cancelled on 16th December, 2016. The amount was refunded by the amazon.In on 18th December, 2016, but still I haven't get the refund amount.

        Amazon.in gave the refund details are: Authorization code for sale transaction 668624.
        Refund Reference # 74332746353635204691503.

        But I haven't get the refund yet.

          I had asked for a gift card (value INR 11000) to be delivered to my address on 11th April 2016. The card was not delivered in 3 weeks, so I called up the home branch. 2 requests had been raised for tracking and delivering the card (1-[protected], 1-[protected]).
          It's been 8 months and I've still not received the card. I recently raised another request on 6th December (not sure of the request number) to get the card delivered. When I call the customer service for the status update, I'm told that the home branch is handling it. When I call the home branch, nobody picks up the call (numbers are[protected]/04).
          If you cannot provide services to your customers and take so long for such a simple request, then please let me know so that I change my serving bank and tell the same to my family and friends.

On 24th of november i applied online for saving av and next day on 25th november executive came to my residence and filled all the papers and transferred rs10000 to open an ac. Till 25th november to 27th December there is no ac been opened and i try to call them and mail them they don't reply.               Kotak banks have become like mafias they call u as cops with arrest warrant and then bombard at homes n start abusing senior citizen they operate from ghaziabad n credit card which are time barred 3 yes they give to agents.

              This trend of action like cops n then coming to people's home is scary n extortion should be stopped it's very Scarry

              They called my mother started stalking her they came to my house with no demand notice I have never used kotak bank credit card. They don't follow and rbi laid rules called me after 7 etc I have registered a case n will take it forward somebody needs to stand against this injustice

              Your recovery agent Vikas and Uday from Noida is calling me 5-10 times a day regarding some body loan took in 2005. The loan was in the name of N K Menon and that person has given my number in reference, your person would not able to trace that person and they are calling me instantly without any reason. That recovery agents are using abusive language which is totally wrong. Request you to please in to it and resolve this issue ASAP.

                Hi,

                My kotak bank's home branch is noida, sector 19, and now i moved to mumbai since last 2 years and i can't go at my home branch for issue my passbook for use for address proof for passport.

                Is it not possible to get my passbook from mumbai any branch?

                Please provide this facility because what does mean of the centralized bank for one india one branch, we can do anything from any branch in india, all data should me online in bank secure website database.

                  I I'm using my Kotak credit card since 3 years and my card CRN no 94224330.. due to some payment delay my card got block without information and even I cleared the full amount with Kotak collection team and phone banking person update for unblock my card... And after the complete payment I put the request to unblock my card and they ask me to wait for 7 working days and finally I received a call from Kotak stating that due to PM Modi demonatization issue my card won't unblock and they suggesting me to apply new credit card .. And the same I ask to the people to send in mail format and they ignored to send...

                  So I'm requesting to Kotak people to activate my card to maintain future transactions with healthy relation.

                    Hi Team,

                    My account was opened with kotak mahibdra in december 2014 and pist which I had to move out of the town so never used my account for any transactions as never received an account opening kit from the bank to my address .But today after having a discussion with customer care I was informed that if account is inactive for two years in succession bank will automatically close the account but seems like it almost two years for me and no action has been taken by bank .
                    I don't even remeber my cusotmer id or account number now . Though message that I got from bank has last four digits of bank .please suggest what should be done

                      After blocking my debit card and reissuing a new one with Kotak's representative.

                      I was told 14 Working Days Later by another representative that my card was never issued and it can not be issued online and I will have to go to the branch for issuing one which could only happen 3 days later after the weekend.

                      After which my net banking was blocked while I was using the same password which worked earlier and to the best of my knowledge I've not changed it.

                      I am a working currently in Mumbai and have been through a bad personal and professional experience because of Kotak.

                            I applied for the cheque book on 7th december 2016 through customer care. Categorically i requested the executive to send it to kotak bank, paschim vihar, new delhi-63 & the executive assured me, while i enquired about it on 12 th, i was informed the cheque book despatched on my village address.

                            Neither kotak bank nor its courier blue dart have reach to my village.

                            Further i requested the customer care to redirect the courier to deliver it at kotak bank at paschim vihar, the customer care executive took the request & after 4 days the blue dart said me they are returning it noida as there was no such request from kotak.

                            Again i requested a cheque book on 17th december (Service request no:1-[protected]) & requested it again & again to despatch it at kotak bank at pascim vihar new delhi-63, but again today the customer care says me, when enquired, its despatched on my village address where the courier has no reach.

                            What to do sir?

                            I need the cheque book on urgent.
                            I have called the customer care more than 30 times since 7th december.

                            I am wounded thoroughly by kotack bank & its customer care.

                            Please look into the matter & do necessary.

                              They block access to my account frequently without any reason and when I call them to complain they just beat around the bush and don't give any reason for the block. And they don't even unblock my access right away. I have to call them, email them, FaceBook them, Twitter them.. and even after all this they're still asking me "Pls elaborate what your problem is"... Serious audit is require of their customer record maintenance systems since they've no idea what is going on! Yet they never fail to direct marketing calls... I still get a call every 2 weeks! #worstbankever

                                Dear Sir

                                I wanted to bring to your kind notice, the irregularity by Kotak Mahindra Bank, Satellite Branch, Ahmedabad. My complaint is pending from 6th Feb 16. The Bank has intentionally stopped responding to my follow up emails and the entire branch management as well as Bank Management are aware but they are harassing me by not responding.

                                You will be surprised to know that the Customer Service and the Nodal Desk address they have shared on the Kotak Mahindra Bank’s official website they don’t respond and have been closing my complaint wrongly and manipulating them as “Resolved” . In past, It is only when I looped the CEO’s email and Country head public email address from Kotak’s site I got a revert from Nodal that they will look into the matter and then they called me that I should not write to other email id’s. but they have not done anything and are closing my complaint without any resolution

                                The issue :

                                On 6th Feb 2016, I attempted an ATM Transaction for Rs. 5000/- which was unsuccessful, the machine failed to dispense Cash. I notified the bank’s nearest branch in person and they told me that it will not be debited but the amount was wrongly debited. I lodged my complaint at Customer Service Call Center and they reversed the wrong debit and just after some days they debited again without notifying me. Since then am following, I have looped in Bank’s senior official also but no one has even bothered to respond. Their officials are involved in Scams and are highlighted in media quite often. They are not sharing the CC TV Footage for the reasons best known to them

                                The Branch where I have opened my account in Ahmedabad, Shivranjani Branch this is hopeless branch which has no governance. I am being harassed insulted, not heard by the representatives of Kotak Mahindra Bank. They are fully responsible for the issue and should own it and resolve.

                                Apart from this transaction also there are other transaction where I got the money but was debited twice by ATM entries and I have asked bank about the details but they are not explaining nor sharing any details or producing the CCTV footage. Quite often these people are calling me and asking me not to write emails or lodge complaint.

                                I request your intervention and request for the detailed investigation, the CCTV footage of 6th Feb 16 will prove that I have not received any cash but not sure that form almost last 10 months they are not sharing the footage

                                I want my amount to be credited back with interest and the wrong entries they have done should be rectified

                                I have started receiving threatning call from Kotak Mahindra Bank, askign me to not to write. I will lodge Kotak Mahindra Bank's complaint in RBI, Media and will let the wold know how they harrass their customers. This is an unprofessional Bank. I have received a call on Friday after highlighting the complaint on this forum at 9:17 PM from this no. +91 [protected]. Now this person is not pickign the phone.

                                Kotak Mahindra Bank's staff is involved in scams and was exposed by media recently, this bank is doing frauds regulalry.

                                No Response form Kotak Mahindr aBank. The bank is involved in Fraudulent activities so they dont have time to attend to customers. The license will be cancelled soon

                                    Unauthorized Transaction for Rs. 135000 made in my account without my consent.
                                    An amount of Rs. 13500 on 17th December was unethical debited from my saving account without any authorization or consent from my side. This issue was already raised to Customer care of Kotak Mahindra bank, who were not able to provide proper explanation for the same.
                                    First Complaint was made to customer care centre on 19th December 2016 where Kotak Mahindra Bank customer Executive Mr Prakash informed me that due technical glitch from Kotak Mahindra Bank, the transactions are getting double deducted and concern team is working on it and the Amount will be credited back by next day evening.
                                    Until 22nd December the Unauthorized Transaction did not got credited in my account, Hence I called up the Kotak Mahindra Bank Customer care second time, This time they had all new different story blaming the vendor on who’s POS Machine I have made the transaction of Rs. 13500 on 9th December have claimed the amount back with the bank, I had only one question for him, Can a Bank like Kotak Mahindra Bank debit my account with any particular amount with any claimant without my consent or authorization? Without answering my question the executive was reluctant that I should approach the vendor to resolve my issue.
                                    This not the first time I am facing such type of issue from Kotak Mahindra Bank in past also such unethical acts also were my current account was debited with authorization and after long fight I got refund after 45 Days.
                                    When it come to responsible banking, the banks do not care. All it care is about the sales, when you need to open an account or Insurance the bank has fast moving sales teams who will be in strong follow up with you. He will come to 10 times if needed just to open one account. All you need to do is just pass the lead to bank that I need to open an account or I need insurance, then just sit back and relax, the bank will do whatever it can just to complete their targets, But When it come to service or complaint resolution it becomes most bureaucratic system they throw to one table to another, one department to other.
                                    I feel extremely harassed by Kotak Mahindra Bank. I would urge to solve the issue on urgent basis and I am also filing complaint against Kotak Mahindra Bank in banking ombudsman RBI.

                                      Dear sir/madam,

                                      I have requested to open my saving account in Pune, which i submitted form & gave a cheque to your sales person Mr. Aniket.

                                      Cheque was cleared on last week itself but still i have not received any confirmation message from you. I also called Mr. Aniket but he is on leave & he said he will forward his boss no to me. But he failed to do the same.

                                        Hello,

                                        I m neetika gupta, i paid my all dues of credit card...but card is still blocked. I Called to coustomer care they told me there is pendind rs 369.47 p only..I told them we paid total pending payments then they told me after overlimit charge it shows 369.47 paisa you pay that then i take your request otherwise not..after paying that payment i called again to coustomer care, then they told me u apply after 6 months.this is very wrong policy. I REQUESTED YOU TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE N OPEN MY CREDIT CARD. THANKS

                                        Its resolved after putting complaint here...they replied me and send email address to credit card deppartment.i emailed on that and its resolved...thanks
