Firstly i will suggest everyone not to go for a kotak mahindra bank credit card. I have used kmb credit card and due to some reason i was not able to pay my one month minimum due because of which they have blocked my debit card and i was not able to withdraw my salary. And after that i have raised a complained to the customer care and response was pathetic from the customer care they were not able to resolve my query and finally i went to the kotak bank main branch where they said that the issue will be resolved but what they have done is inhuman instead of deducting my minimum due they have deducted my whole salary. As per other bank they will just block the credit card or if minimum due is not paid they should have raised a penalty. Phone number [protected]

    I have a saving account and a credit card with Kotak ( CRN#[protected].

    I had cancelled my a year before and now I have received a message stating I have to pay some annual maintenance charges on my credit card. When enquired it was told that the card was blocked and is still active.

    My concern is that, why should I pay any amounts for a cancelled card. If it is still active, why did Kotak do not have a responsibility of let me know the status for the entire 1 year.

        Hi team,

        I worked for techmahindra it services, shollinganallur - chennai,

        And policy no is - 3108408.

        In my office there is one guy from kotak mahindra bank named iyyapan-mobile no ([protected]),
        Came to our office and told us about "kotak assured savings plan",
        He told us like in this policy we have to pay around 30, 000 per year
        And after 3 years we can withdraw the amount of
        (30, 000*3 years =90000+ interest 10000),
        O after 3 years we will be eligible to get the amount 0f 1 lakhs, so i have paid the amount in the first year,
        But now i contacted the kotak customer care, they are saying it is not possible to get the amount of 1 lakh,
        It is a wrong commitment given by the kotak mahindra banker mr. Iyyappan, before signing the bond i have asked iyyapan,
        In the bond it is mentioned that after 10 years only we are eligible to take the amount,
        But he denied and told us after 3 years for sure you will get 1 lakh rupees.
        Based on his advise,
        We (Pradeep, senthil andavan palani, rajkumar, jayasurya, elakkiya)
        Tech mahindra it employees have choosen this plan based on the false statement provided by the kotak mahindra banker (Iyyapan)
        His mail id (Ayyappan. [protected]@kotak.com) and his gmail (Hari. [protected]@gmail.com), as a mahindra group employees we both stand together
        And provide us the solution, and we have escalated to our corporate services of tech mahindra because he (Iyyapan) came into our office
        And told us all these stuffs. Kindly take very severe action on ayyappan, so that it shouldnt happen in the future of our employees,
        And ultimately i just look forward to return my total amount which i paid till now. It is 30, 000 (Thirty thousand)
        Asap.

          I had done twice online recharge the same day from 2 atms and 300rs from each card has been deducted without any recharge.11 days have passed but i've not get my money back.
          My debit cards are of punjab national bank and indian overseas bank. Kindly help me out, i've lost 600 rupees in total while doing online recharge which didn't even happened. Kotak services are not good and i'm never going to use this anymore while online transaction.
          I'll be humbled if some steps can be taken soon in my favor.

          TBMS charges are applied in my account without prior information, even after changing account type and talking to branch manager, I was still charged

            Hi Kotak,

            My CRN is: 99384155

            I am very disappointed with your bank services, and facing lots of issues and penelties due to this, I had one IMPS traction from my account to another account on 02-09-16 of 2, 00, 000 rs. and its fail and i got massage from your side:

            "Your fund transfer request for Rs. 200000.00 on 02-09-16 could not be processed. Please try later (IMPS Ref no.[protected]."

            But the amount had been deducted form my account and it wasn't there neither in my account not in the transferee's account, then on 3rs sep i called ur customer care and told them all situation, then they said with in a day your fund will be back in your account or your transferees account.

            But today is 4th Sep and still there is no fund neither in my account nor in my transferees account. I called customer care again today & they said we are unable to get the reason and have filed your complaint (No: 1-[protected]) it will take 4 working days to give back your fund.

            I am very disappointed why its so complicated when you know the actual reason and i received the same massage. I have gone for an IMPS as it was an urgent transaction i was seeking but now i have to bear multiple penalties due to non availability of fund in either of my account. Can you help me understand who is going to bear all these penalties are you ??

            If this is the kind of services you have then you shouldn't even run a bank. As you are here to make our life easy instead you have get me into so much trouble.

            I will see to it that my issue is highlighted in social media as well so that others can be saved from this trouble & restrain banking with you guys.

                Kotak spln loan ac no 59899891 But i have not Received Loan amount of 3, 89, 037Rs EMI debited from my account with out intimation.I given so many complaints but no response from Bank.complaint No's[protected], 1-[protected].
                In My cibil score also showing Loan amount 3, 89, 037Rs with out getting loan amount how can i pay emi.
                Now i need a compensation regarding this issue. i need to pay another bank emi but that amount debited with out intimation kotak bank.please resolve this issue as soon as possible.
                Aug 10th 2016 debited emi from my account now its sept 02nd 2016 till now i have not received any replay from kotak team.

                  I am a holder of Privy League Signature Credit Card of Kotak Mahindra Bank. Being harassed by rude calls made by recovery agents on a day to day basis for the re-payment of credit card dues, I called the customer care and expressed his desire to cancel the credit card, because it was a cause of not only mental and psychological agony and harassment to me, but also resulted in a drain of my financial resources, in the form of lot of onerous and unexplained charges, which was levied every month and reflected as a part of amount due. Getting in touch with the customer care executive and explaining to him the problem is another ordeal that every customer is put through. Calls are transferred and disconnected innumerable times, before the call finally goes through. It appears that it is not customer care but a customer harassment centre. Anyways that is a subject matter which is not being discussed herein. So finally when the call connected with the customer care executive, I enquired the total amount payable for cancelling the card. After a call which lasted for about close to two hours, I was told that the total amount payable was approximately Rs. 1, 01, 250/- (Rupees One Lakh Two Hundred and Fifty only). Approximately because the ban k could not tell me the exact amount due. I clarified with the so called customer care executive that if I paid the indicated amount, would the card be cancelled. He told me yes.

                  So, as discussed with the so called customer care executive, I made a payment of Rs. 1, 01, 250/- (Rupees One Lakh Two Hundred and Fifty only) on 01.06.2016. I also told the concerned executive at the bank branch that I was making the payment so that the card could be cancelled. He called the concerned officer from his phone and enquired the amount due for cancellation of the card. The concerned officer told him to make a payment of Rs. 1, 01, 250/- (Rupees One Lakh Two Hundred and Fifty only) and the card would be closed. Hence, I made the payment and of Rs. 1, 01, 250/- (Rupees One Lakh Two Hundred and Fifty only). The payment of the said amount of Rs. 1, 01, 250/- (Rupees One Lakh Two Hundred and Fifty only) was made with a great difficulty.

                  Recently, I was shocked to receive a message from the bank, indicating that an amount of Rs. 5, 959.03/ (Rupees Five Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty Nine and paise three only) was due. When I called the bank to ask, I was informed that annual charges had been levied on the card. I replied that I had on various occasions requested the card to be cancelled. The executive quite rudely replied that I could not prove the same and that I had to pay the said amount. I requested him to raise a request to record my complaint. He refused. I told him that I will be constrained to redress my grievances before appropriate forums, to which he coldly replied that I had to make the payment and that such complaints are made on a daily basis but nothing happens, and that I would end up running from pillar to post.

                  I am victim of onerous and illegal charges being charged to my credit card, which I do not even use. It is not only illegal, but also unethical and unfair trade practice. The bank and its officials are randomly levying charges on my credit card, which at the time of taking was made out to be free of annual charges and hidden costs. This is inter alia unfair trade practice, abuse of dominant position and in any way illegal. Recently, I have also come across various people who have been burdened with such charges at some point of time or other. The onerous charges and terms and conditions are not appraised at the time of taking the credit card. In fact, an unsuspecting customer like me is told that the card is free and without any charges. I request you to kindly reverse the illegal and onerous charges levied on my credit card, otherwise I will be constrained to approach appropriate forum/s to redress my legal grievances, in law – civil, criminal and tortious.

                    Hi, i made a imps from my kotak account towards (Sbi account) of rs/- 7000 and 4500 on dated 031-aug-2016.
                    But imps could not be processed due to beneficiary credit status unknown. I am still waiting from my money back but nothing happened... Request you to please refund my money if transaction is not successful.

                      I want to close my salary account so can i close from another kotak branch ?
                      and also bank charges from me a low balance maintain charges.
                      some time bank msg me that ur available bal is -1280 and some time send me messege that ur available balance is 0 and now i got the messege from kotak bank that ur available balance is -3000. in my kotak salary bank there is 0 balance due to i left my previous company and i m jobless now. so what should i do kindly reply.

                          This is in regard with the my Personal Loan - SPLN[protected]

                          I have foreclosed the personal Loan i had with Kotak and got the NOC on 13th July from the bank . till date i have not got the refund of the Excess amount of EMI - amount of Rs.14101

                          I have reached customer care couple of times and every time they say it will be credited in next 24 hours . but till date that 24 hours has not yet come.

                          Can the concerned person or department take care of this request and do the needful

                            I have recieved a calls from this no. [protected] regarding some dept... But they are calling like 50 times back to back... And using filthy languages... Kindly stop this... Harrasing people is ill leagl. They are calling some random people that i only know asking them to pay money... Harrasing them also calling them 20 times a third person who is not related to this matter atall is not correct.

                            I am going to file a police complaint about this.

                              I just got call from branch manager, they told total money of penalty charges of 8, 000 will be deducted from my account its such painful, the bank treated me is unacceptable after 6 months they are telling finally i need to pay full amount of penalty charges, earlier they told 50% will reverted. And also now they are telling to maintain the limit which is 20, 000 i guess need to maintain, then every 3 months they will reverse something

                              If they could have told in the month of my request (March officially written mail) i could have consider

                              How can i trust, i am chasing for my single query since last 6 months, for every month reversal, just keep on chasing for next 5 years.

                              I need my money sir, bank have never told about the charges, they told its zero balance account.

                              Please read my old story too...

                              I have sent many queries, i have not got any solution / process from kotak, just talking talking only since march which is almost 5 months

                              First of all i am not cheater for your bank, this is the way to treat your customer, i was thinking to open account & mutual fund to saving the tax for my wife. Thank god i have not taken that decision

                              They just told amount you need to pay the full penalty charges of some around 15000, after visiting many times kotak koramangala then they told only we can process of 50% for sai akshita account this is what i got the last word from parul sharma, after that no call no mail nothing, he is not even picking (Usually credit card / loan cheater only do this kind of activity. But here total opposit bank is doing)

                              I have requested to him which is 4 months ago, speak to your any senior and process the maximum close this complaint (Rest of the thing you can read my story below)

                              Last month, i was telling to parul sharma, i was thinking to write it on consumer complaint, before i write it on fb, he was casually telling wherever you complaint, that letter of complaint will come to my table only sir, i was just thinking samething i told him also, you are talking like a bad politician

                              I am a manager of my company, i am already busy with many thing i can not keep on chasing with kotak people, that doesnot matter to leave my hard earned money to bank, hence i have not cheated

                              Its really affecting my peace of my mind, need a full stop for this issue.

                              Ps: i have already stopped my company account from kotak bank because of this poor handling in customer care

                              I called many times to parul sharma, no body is picking my call from malviya nagar branch

                              I was walking in the garden your bank guys came and approached to take bank account with sweet coated talk, after many calls i have accepted to open my kotak account. They have not clarified for any penalty charges. Bank approached me in the positive manor, kotak bank will give free pvr tickets (Which i never got a single ticket), that discount this discount blah blah. I have opened rd account for my daughter. After some time i realized there are some many penalty charges going on i called immediately munna pandey (Who approached me to open) and told to stop the account or give the refund after that i was keep on travelling.

                              I try to contact kotak malviya nagar, they never pick up the phone, (I shown to your bank employee also) i have sent email on march 18th after so much struggle to get the email id. After that no response. I spoke to parul sharma for 3 to 4 times. After that

                                I raised a cheque pickup request on Kotak bank on 17th August 2016.
                                Cheque Amount is Rs 30, 800 drawn on Standard Chartered Bank.
                                Cheque was collected on the same day by one of there agents named ganesh.

                                  Had applied personal loan through mira road kotak branch ...bank representative punit said me that your loan will be sanctioned ..but since it's been almost 13 days ...there is no reply from bank and when I called them only one answer which I receive from there view ...that we are waiting for business head approval ...
                                  I was not aware that business head is so busy that he didn't got time from 13 days to view the mail ...and if I cross check with representatives they say me i[censored] are in rush so apply in another bank...that's not right... if bank can't provide loan or proper reason ...they should shut their bank ...do some other work ...still awaiting for an approval .

                                    Hi,

                                    Open salary account where in Bank have not updated my Company Name in primary mailing address, wherein i have faced below issue
                                    1) getting the debit card with delay of a month and i have to finally collect from the bank
                                    2) address is not being updated an facing issue that cheque will also not receive due to incorrect mailing address.
                                    3) called toll free number but given wrong information that to visit branch and get the address updated
                                    4) visited to near by branch opposite to Zensar Kharadi, no supportive response.

                                    over all this is worst bank i have ever had.

                                    Pls. take necessary action to it.

                                    2 months no debit card
                                    20 days account locked missed on EMI payments
                                    looking for compensation for for all the trouble and unprofessional way of operating

                                      I have been using Kotak Mahindra bank account from 6 years for my Salary account, 8 months back I have traveled to abroad on my job so obviously salary won't get deposited to that account anymore but still I was using the same account to transfer money from aboard but I was doing even more transaction with compare to early, almost after 8 months in August I saw a debits from account saying minimum balance not maintained in May 15, and again on the next Day another Debit minimum balance not maintained on April 17 like that.

                                      I called customer care and enquired them the reason for money deductions without any proper communication, They said your account is now converted from salary account to some different account, minimum balance for that is 50K

                                      They didn't send any kind of notification about my account converting to diff kind of account. They said they will not send any notification it will be there on T&C when created the account.
                                      I asked them if minimum balance was not there on some day of May why are you charging for it in August. one guy gave reckless answer saying they can deduct money at any time whenever they want.
                                      though they are not sending any notification, if they would have deducted the charges on next month for May, I would have got to know about this minimum balance and I would have maintained it properly from next month but they are deducting after 4..5 months for all the months before...

                                      They are playing tricks to deduct more money from customer... I asked them do you have anywhere in the T&C saying you can deduct money at any time, they don't have proper answer for that.

                                      I wanted to escalate to their floor manager and senior manager, they made me wait for two hours in call and even mangers was also giving reckless answers like they can deduct money at anytime and it won't metioned in any terms and conditions.

                                      same happen with me, , , now see what happen i will deactivate my account and family and friends too from kottak mahindra bank, and spread this on social media and so on until and unless kottak Applozies for what they did

                                        I sent couple of email to customer care as well as nodal officer but no one give me reply.

                                        I thought kotak is very good bank but i was wrong now im thinking to deactivate my both account as no one is available on critical time.

                                        I already informed before some months for inactive my account. And now the bank told me first discuss with customer care or nodal officer for waiver once it shown 0 we will give you deactivation form.

                                        I have another kotak account in which i already maintain 20, 000 per month so i don't need this account. And i cant maintain minimum limit in my both account.

                                        So i request you to please help me to refund penalty so i can deactivated the same.
