Hi,
I was worked techmahindra and used kotak salary account. Due to inefficiency kotak service. I formally filled salary account closing form and summit to bank authorized person at my company premises while taking kotak personal loan.
Hereafter my account was inactive andmy debit card was blocked.
But i have not noticed few mail stored in spam mail received from kotakbank stating that 21k need to pay to kotak for maintenance charge.
I am not using kotak bank and long days back bank my account was inactive. Then why there is a maintenance charge applied to the inactive account.
I didnt get any call from kotak, the amount is getting charged monthly by 3k and reached 21k. It is illegal. Please revice the amount and update your bank record that account has been closed. I never seen such a bank charging silently without knowing to customer such a huge amount for a maintenance fee.
If there is any issue my closing formality form, bank should communicate customer thru phone/email/mail to address.
Ending spam mail and charging customer silently is illegal.

    Ubmitted request letter for closure of five term deposits worth rs.23 lakhs and transfer the amount to our od account with an intention to close the od and utilise the remaining amount to clear our credit card debts.

    Submitted letter on 17th sept. Till date not closed and there is no responce from the branch,

    1st name is ex. Employee of ing who worked for 32 yers and took retirement. This is clear evidence that merger not taken placed properly

    Am feeling very bad on KMB without intimation they charged past three months
    cash deposit & imps charges at a time without intimated. when the account was opening they said they is no transaction charges for cash deposit but i deposited cash Rs.11, 700/- for that they charged Rs.115/-
    Dear sir,
    In kotak bank branch at Kannur Talap, when I go to deposit cash the person who take or collect cash He is very badly treat me. I never saw such a person like this in bank facilities,

        I missed the credit card payment for the month of September 2016 and although, the payment has now been made through Billpay (NEFT) mode. Your collection agent keeps calling me and forcing me to hand him cash. I have already responded with a no and I am ready to offer him the Transaction Reference No. However, despite all this information he keeps insisting on arranging a cash/bearer cheque payment and has been visiting my office and home without my consent.
        I agree the due date was missed, but note that I have a job that requires me to travel continuously, so I may not be in office or unreachable at times and that is in fact why the due date was missed. However, I am no criminal to be subjected to this harassment.
        Further, he has been very rude to me and too dominating with his rude comments with insisting on a cash collection. He has not even listened to my responses or my clarifications and has been constantly shouting and threatening me for saying a no to his executive visiting my home.

        My account has been debited by 23000 by fraudulent ATM withdrawal in Egypt while I'm still having my debit card with me. I have registered a complaint at total customer care, but No one has still responded to my complaint nor they have refunded my amount. I have even written mails to their Karnataka chief Mr Gaurav Jain followed by calling.

          I had taken a personal loan from Kotak Mahindra Bank in mid 2014, referring Loan Account No. – SPLN[protected] with a loan amount of Rs. 5, 00, 000/-. I was paying my installments, till the time I received a calls from Kotak Mahindra Bank executives for increasing my loan amount to 6, 50, 000/-. Basically the same bank approached me for top up of my loan, after considering all the conditions I accepted the proposal. But what I was not told in the whole process was that the same bank is going to charge various kinds of Fees & charges for increasing the loan amount. I got upgraded loan with the loan number referring SPLN – 59567206 from Kotak Mahindra Bank starting from May 2015, but with the lesser amount of Rs. 42, 000/- approx which was deducted from the disbursement amount. While asking for the clarification bank told that these are the charges which come under process, but the same was not informed to me. By taking the first loan they took charges, which I paid & then again saying that it will be a top up loan they again took charges without informing. So for a increased loan amount of Rs. 1, 50, 000/- they deducted RS. 42, 000/- in the name of charges. I didn’t approach them for increasing my loan but they did. I have requested to bank many times for reversal of these charges, but bank don’t want to. So I took a assistance of Akosha ( a online platform which helps in these kind of cases ) & with their help I received a refund of Rs. 12, 000. But still 30, 000/- is pending towards bank which should be refunded back. Till now I have paid 17 EMI`s of this new loan, will also pay the balance amount but bank should also understand that making fool of customer will not work. Rs. 30, 000/- is a big amount for me. Request you to please help in getting the reversal of the balance amount, looking forward for your cooperation.

            Respected Sir,

            I have a Bank account in Kotak Mahindra bank. My CRN No is 7221072. The Bank is permanently keeping Rs.1.00 Lakhs in sweep in deposit account for a interest of 6% and not releasing the money though I need it. They say you can cancell the account.

            Sir, The primary rule is that no body is authorize to touch others money. So, this sweep in FD by Kotak Bank may be viewed seriously and against banking rules, since it is putting customer to loss, if he makes FD for one year.
            Kindly arranage to stop this practice of Bank.

              This is Junaid Ahmed, I work in Andheri mumbai ..having salary account with kotak mahindra bank.

              I m sending u dis email to al bcoz of I have suffered lot from kotak mahindra bank service.

              Why I will tell u ?????

              I have given request for cheque book on 18 august...today is 22 September, still I have not got my cheque book.

              On 18th Sept I gave request for cheque book from kotak mahindra aplication, on 22 august I called kotak call center, to say that on my mailing address no body lives, so one of agent from call center gave me suggestion that u can request ur cheque book on nearest branch, so I said ok, I requested for my nearest branch that is shere punjab branch in andheri east.So after waiting 10 days again I called to kotak call center to know the status of my cheque book, they said that the cheque book has been already delivered.

              I enquired in my nearest branch where I requested to delivered...but branch people said that it has not delivered here...

              So this email regarding to that only...

              Regularly I was calling 5-6 times to call center...but they were just keeping my call on hold for 12 to 15 mint...but they were just saying that it has been delivered...all the agent were giving different delivered address..

              So asking from my home branch which is in andheri east floral deck plaza, Midc, they said that it has not Been delivered here...

              So in this condition. ..again I was regularly calling to know my cheque book status...to call center, shere punjab branch, & to my home branch...but there was negative answer. .

              So again on 09- September I request for another cheque book...today is 22 September I have not got the 2nd cheque book also...

              So again I called to call center to know the status but again that same answer. .that it has been delivered. .

              But I was not able to understand that where it has been delivered. ..neither on my mailing address, or nearest branch, nor to my home branch...

              I was not getting any positive answer from call center, from shere punjab branch, or from my home branch..

              So after calling daily ...I have got new postpaid bill of 1900 /rs.

              So any one o[censored] all can tell me who is going to bare this money. ...which I have wasted in making enquiry for cheque book status...

              I don't no my cheque book status till now...I have become irritated. ..from negative answer...might u all know the importance of cheque book.

              I have become helpless calling to call center & home branch...

              I think bank people gives importance to those people who have regularly lakhs of transactions.

              This us complaint regarding the kotak mahindra bank worst poor service..

              In my company nearly 800 employees r having kotak salary account. ..but fir this poor service they have kicked it out from the company & hired citi bank.

              So regards to this email to Mr Uday kotak, joint managing directors, & consumer court head Mrs.Ranjana, I want to say that let's forget the cheque book.i will open my account in another account also.

              But what about the money which I wasted on calling to call center, & home branch.

              I can tell u the person name also. ...

              These all the person who were taking follow up...& not having any answer..

              I request u kindly listen my problem in your heart of court...

              Now I got bad experience. .from kotak.

              But Mr Uday I don't think so u all r going to solve this problem. ..but Mr Uday...be in my place as a normal customer..then u will come to know about the irritation ..

              Or either plz return my money which I wasted...on your company..

                    I have taken the above policy in january 2012 under the plan component kotak flexi plan ii (regular) (uin107l023v02), when i was residing in thane west. Under ecs, my savings account is being debited every month, though i have neither received any policy nor i am getting any policy details like fund value. Since i have retired and shifted to ahmedabad, i find it difficult to pay the premium . How can i claim my due amount. Can i get the details of policy in my email id...[protected]@gmail.Com

                      Kotak Mahindra Bank do charge late payment amount for credit card as half of my bill amount. They are saying they will take the request for reversal. but the reversal amount will not reflected in your current generated bill amount.
                      The reversal amount will be reflected on future bill generation but not in currently generated bill payment. You have to pay the currently generated bill amount which having late payment bill amount.
                      I have asked customer support then what is the use of reversal, if does not do any further transaction in future then how will you give this reversal amount to me?
                      From customer support there is no answer for this.

                        Pl provide no dues certificate of swift car no dl 3cad 7780. agreement no. cf 3390422 dated 30.07.2006 for rs 3 lacks. though loan already fully repaid by me by 17 12 2007 but i did not get no dues certificate from you. please issue a letter/form to regional transport authority sheikh sarai ph 2 new delhi to remove your name as financier on the registration certificate. the original papers written by you to the transport authority be given to me.

                          I am waiting for closure letter and list of documents martgaged against loan account no. hf[protected]. i have sent mail asking for closure letter on 29/8/16 and reply was received on 2/9/16 that my request has been registered vide id sr#1-[protected] dated 2/9/16 clarifying that my request will be responded with in 10 working days, but i am still awaiting for closure letter and list of documents. it is cleary an unfair practice on behalf of kotak mahindra bank.

                            Every time i contact kotak team i hear different reasons.
                            Every executive who answers call say we will get back to u in 15-20 mins,
                            But no response till now.

                              Problems suffered after linking with Kotak Mahindra Bank:

                              It's been 11 months since linked with Kotak Mahindra Bank and faced following issues:

                              1. Change of mobile no. without our knowledge
                              2. Received 5 credit cards. We never requested for same.
                              3. Excess processing charges deducted on loans and not refunded up until now
                              4. Never requested for weekly balance alert and net banking pin regen & even on deactivation of service regularly receiving weekly balance alerts and also charges are deducting now also.
                              5. We have not received list of documents of property mortgaged against above said loans up until now.
                              6. Irregularly picking up of installment amount, this bank does not really care about other person’s liquidity position.
                              7. First they say no overdue charges would be charged and then ????
                              8. Deducting charges even on timely payment of installment.

                              Are all above things clearly not harassment??

                                I am applied for opening a jifi account through online on Aug 09 2016.9th they called me and confirm the time when they want to come for documents.am told to come on 10th aug 2016 at 1.00Pm.but on 10th they are not came.am called to that representative, that time they told they forgot it and should come on 11.am transfered 10000Rs through online on 10th Aug and they collect the documents on 11th aug.he told within 7working days you will get the passbook and at, cards.after 10days am calld him.he told within 2 days you will get the passbook and card.

                                one week over 2 week over 3 week over.i didnt get any response from the bank side.when am tried to track my tracking number JA01596590 they show documents recieved.am called to customer care a lot of time.3-4 times they attend my phone and they told they will transfer a mail to the concern team.aug 24 & Sep.3rd am send complaint through mail also.still no reply.please do the needfull

                                  Despite several complaints logded with the cards department, dual levy of amounts has not been reversed by the bank. It shows clear intent to fraud the customer and they should be penalized severely. Excerpts from the email are given below-
                                  25/08/2016 - Kindly check the statement wrt EMI cancellation. Amount of Rs. 4443 and 4749 have already been paid off in the last cycle. still these are being shown as payable. do i have to pay for these amounts twice???charges wrt to these were levied in the previous statements and were duly paid also, so these will have to be reversed in this billing cycle. Please rectify the statement asap and resend the same before the amount becomes due.
                                  Urgent action in this regard would be appreciated.
                                  Reminder on 02/09/2016 and then this email on 04/09/2016 - It seems very convenient that as and when a query or complaint is filed KOTAK, the systems seem to malfunction or is under upgrade. However, when it comes to levying undue charges charges, incorrect calculation for amounts, the systems is automated. As you can see in the trail mail, i had intimated the 'very competent' people at KOTAK that they had incorrectly calculated the amount due from me, no action whatsoever was taken on this instance and moreover an email stating that since they had been undergoing system upgrade, the did not respond and if i was unsatisfied i should intimate these crooks again.

                                  Now these people have again charged me with exceeding the credit limit on my card by Rs. 807 (payment for which i have made immediately). I fail to understand how payments were made if had exceeded my credit limit. Should the payment not have been declined?

                                  I am fed up of spending unnecessary time teaching these people basic mathematics, time and again. The only legible explanation is that these things are done intentionally to extract extra payment from customers. If by chance some people are busy enough to not notice it, it would be additional recovery for these people.

                                  I strongly urge the appropriate authorities to take necessary action regarding this issue. I would even request the banking ombudsman to let me know how i can take legal action in this regard and do i have to file an official complaint with RBI for the same or not?

                                    Sir this is ramprakash tjadagoni my account no is[protected] i am recharge tatasky dth through net banking 350 & 350 both time recharged that amount not credit to my tatasky Account that dated[protected] approch met time 05 pm to 05:30pm that amount not credit my bank amount i call to customer care 3 time they said 2 owrking days 4 working days i wating 10 days that amount not credit my Account please cheak my problam amount refund my Account MAIL ID [protected]@gmail.com mobile no [protected].

                                      Hi,
                                      I am annoyed by the service of the Kotak Mahindra Bank and specially unsatisfyied with the Phone call Service.

                                      I have a credit card ([protected]) with the Kotak Mahindra Bank:

                                      I have used the credit card and I did made the payment of Rs 7000 thro Cheque payment and it was dropped at ATM centre, Anna Nagar, Chennai on 9th Sep 2016 for the due date of 15th Sep 2016.

                                      The amount was debited in my account. But your Bank staff Ms. Sarala asked for payment. I said politely “ Madam check your side and ask the bounce or any missed payment if any, every month you give torture and I am in very important meeting, I just return from abroad our clients are here so do not disturb me”.

                                      She’s never mind it said that “ It’s my duty I ask Payment details I do not know what are you doing, Is it paid or not”

                                      Again I said “ Last ten days I where in Honk Kong, But I am sure the amount debited in my account and also sure our person drop the Cheque on 9th sep 2016 at Anna Nagar Kotak ATM, First you ask your Annanagar Kotak Branch and call back me”
                                      suddenly she said “Its not my duty you check and inform me, ”

                                      I Replied as “I cannot go into the ATM machine so check with your people.”
                                      She was behave rude, Shouting with angry. I said “ First Give manners and learn How to behavior with customer” again she was shouting.

                                      I do not know why your people is behavior like this type. How can you select this type o[censored]neducated ****ing people? Who is your HR? he is accepting this type of approach to the Loyal customer like us. I entirely disappointing KOTAK team.

                                      You know I have bunch of Credit Card, no one is asked for payment. No one is behavior like this lady Ms. Sarala. This is not first time I already warn one month before for the same reason.

                                      I know you were recording our conversations; You can play back our conversation. Just listen How she was spoken. She is never set for your business modules.

                                      Any how, I do not like to continue with you. I want to close my credit card account immediately. Inform me the balance amount if any, I will settle the amount and will be free from damn people and bank.

                                        I walked In kotak Mahindra bank at Anantapur to open an current account for that I have submitted required documents and cheque of 25000 to the bank executive, one month over no response from the branch they are not able to told the status of my application and when I call them they are not at all lifting my call. My doc's and cheque are with them only till date. What kind of bank is this I have never experienced this kind of bad situation such a big bank they are not lifting my call when I tried calling land-line also not lifting. Kindly take action.
