    I am having a kotak mahindra credit card and the outstanding amount is Rs. 1608/-. I was paying the amount from august or September 2020, and the last amount which I had to pay was Rs. 1608 in February 2021. But they wanted me to pay Rs. 5000/-. When I have asked the reason, they denied to give any reason, from February till now, everytime different executive calls me everytime and whenever I escalate my issue, they didn't call back to me. Today I had a conversation with Harmeet from Kotak and he misbehaved with me and talk to me like he is rowdy. I told me to get the information first then ask me anything. He threatened me to pay Rs. 4000/-. I told him, I have all the data of my payment and the call as well as WhatsApp records of all the kotak mahindra credit card executives. Instead of giving solution, he is threatening me. Such a fraud credit card dept kotak mahindra has.

        For the past 5 years Kotak Mahindra Bank has been debiting charges for maitainence of demat account and debit card despite me repeteadly telling them that i have closed the demat account and discontinued the debit card.
        Every year they keep the money for a month and then later reverse it saying it was a technical issue after raising complaint and over and above promise that this will not happen again.
        This year again i was charged wrongly and on raosing complaint for reversal they say that only one reversal is possible in a year and tht they have reversed my debit card charges.
        I have to bear the demat charges for no reason, and also due to these deductions my ECS transaction bounced and for that too kotak has charged me.

        I have now decided to go to RBI and complaint about this fraudulent transactions being done by the Bank itself.

          Mutual Fund - Money Debited but unit not allocated

          My mutual fund purchase transaction submitted on 26th aug is not processed yet and today is Sept3. Money debited from my bank account on transaction date. Sent an email to [protected]@kotak.com but no further updates. Talked to customer service executive who assured resolution by end of day but to no avail. Case# assigned is CAS-716661-R3P3

          This is pathetic how this firm considered to be a premium financial services entity in the...

          I want to return my POS machine, which was issued to me about 6 months ago. Your bank officer had told me that no monthly charges would be charged but they are unduly charged from my current account. Kindly credit back these charges into my account and deactivate my POS at your earliest.

            Hi my name is shaloo lohchab and i have an account with bank acc with kotak mahindra bank. i have a loan from dhani for which my ecs in last month got return as we had couple of family memeber loss bcoz of covid and we were not able to check on balance. but for that the bank has deducted more than 3k from my acc. i was not aware of any such return bcoz i nver got any msg call or email from bank informing abt sme and even the charges were not reflecting on the app. I call the customer care then we came to know what are the deduction. i ist my hunble reuquest to the bank kindly waive off those charges and refund the money as bcoz of pandemic we are struggling on every front . the customer care is not ready to listen

              I have tried to register my number for DND but that option is not working properly. Daily i am getting on credit card requirement, even though i said "I don't want" or "not required" any kind of credit card from Kotak, still i am daily getting call from credit card department. I really don't know what to do with this daily disturbance.

              so i have complain against Kotak Mahindra.

                we have lost my job in covid-19, and there is no way to pay the outstanding amount of credit card. Recovery agent offer me to pay the rs. 120, 000.00 in one short. but we are enable to arrange the whole amount at that time.

                We are able to pay only Rs. 70, 000.00 in one short.

                we are trying to contact bank manger, customer care, etc. but there is no response.

                    I had a Loan Clearenece Certificate from Kotak Bank for the said Kotak Bank Consumer Loan, still I am getting calls from Kotak Bank for the loan and also they are bulling me to again pay the already paid outsatanding and put incorrect/wrong information in my CIBIL for tarneshing my credit worthiness.

                    After repeated complaints, everytime Kotak Bank employees assure me of correcting the records, but do nothing and this is in practice since last 7 years.

                    Please help.

                      This is with regard to the recent remittance I received in my Kotak Savings Account on August 17th for Rs 6750.72.

                      While the remittance was sent and (apparently) received fine, I received a huge shock when my balance was showing as Rs 3204.64 as opposed to what it should i.e. the remittance amount above.

                      I contacted Kotak instantly regarding this both on Twitter and also by sending them an email through Internet Banking.

                      Unfortunately, I have not been able to get any conclusive answer or resolution. On Twitter, they told me “there is a hold on my account due to declined ATM/POS charges”, however, when I asked them to send me an actual summary of how many and what charges were declined, they never did so and stopped replying to me.

                      Via Internet banking, they keep copying and pasting the same thing to me repeatedly i.e. “declined ATM/POS”, but they don’t tell me WHAT exact charges these are, when they are made, and when they were declined.

                      There were a FEW declined POS/ATM transactions, yes, and they claim they charged me Rs 25 for these per transaction, however, I’ve checked my account – and those charges have ALREADY been debited, so there is no reason to put another “hold on the account”.

                      Further, the disputed amount ie. Rs 3546 is too large. There cannot be that many declined transactions i.e. at Rs 25 charged per transaction, that comes to almost 140 or so declined transactions which is simply not possible.

                      I believe this is an underhand way of “holding customer’s money” for a while so the bank can earn interest on it – I’ve asked Kotak to give me a STATEMENT showing EXACTLY how many transactions were declined, but they are not doing so. Neither are that many declined transactions showing in Internet Banking – and the ones that are, they’ve already charged me not Rs 25 – but Rs 29 + GST per transaction on those, which is also something they never told me i.e. Rs 25 should not be Rs 31!

                      Kindly check and please get the “hold” released and the funds released to me at the earliest, as this sort of “predatory” behavior by these Private Sector Banks is simply, to put it in one word – UNACCEPTABLE – not to mention their customer service who are more than willing to tweet inanities all day, but given any real issue to solve, they never solve it.

                      Please let me know at the earliest. If you need more info on this, please do let me know, and I will be more than glad to share anything needed.

                      The last time I raised this complaint, I was unable to proceed past the initial part of the complaint process because the RBI CMS was not working OK.

                      However, a few days later I was able to successfully raise this complaint with them, but on both occasions, they closed the complaint saying "you did not give the bank time to respond".

                      Yet, I did - and the RBI's own policies state that if the customer is unhappy with the response given by the bank, they can approach the Ombudsman, which I did, but in this case, no use.

                      I'd appreciate it if someone here could provide more light on the situation and help me get my money back - as it is most disconcerting that banks are doing this to their customers.

                      P.S. - Their securities is another scam - basically, I got an email from them today stating "I bought shares from them" - except I never did, I've never even USED their platform for that.

                      I will open a separate thread regarding that.

                        Literally torcher hai bank me job krna, no personal life, front end is good but you don't know the back end work.

                        Morning 9: 15 login time but no logout time ( 9, 10, 11 am ----)

                        Before three days one notice came every branch should close at 6: 30 PM but audit time no timeline follow

                        I am typing my msg at 11: 07 PM but not this time my husband is still in the bank reason checking

                        Yar kya employee kids koi personal life nhi h kya, ap salary pay krte ho but jb chahe tb branch me rok kr rkhoge

                        Or ye bm and area maneger ko to Sare kam 8 bje k bad hi yad aate h

                        Apne ye nhi kiya vo nhi kiya
                        Please don't go in banking field, it is very worst and salary k nam pr just 4000 to 6000 increments

                              Once a customer care executive called us to make the payment of Credit Card and told us if we paid the payment they will surely close the card.
                              Her Name- Snehal, Number- [protected]
                              And Than on January 14th we paid 7, 100 rupees on Kotak's Bank Account
                              And they still didn't close our card and from now she isn't picking our calls
                              And We are still getting calls and messages about our card hasn't been closed yet and saying our payment is still at due

                              Kotak Prime has considered that they have full right to make you dance to their tunes. All the payments, ECS issues are under their control & you must work as per their wish. If you are a customer of their sister bank, you are just gone! Any time deductions, No fixed schedule for ECS, all happens as per their wish.
                              ECS works as per their wish. Any amount will get deduct anytime as per their wish from your account, even it is lesser than even 95% of actual amount!!!
                              Kotak Prime must reply immediately. Awaiting

                                      Mr Deepak one of your employee helped me in opening the account in which I have to maintain the balance of Rs.10, 000 and I have been promised to receive a platinum debit card instead of which.I have received a classic debit card which I have not requested for and Rs.235 has been deducted from my account. Then I went to the Najafgarh branch Where Mr Tarun one of your employee helped me in upgrading the account in which I have to maintain Rs.50, 000 and he told me to call customer care they will reimburse the deducted amount and they will issue the new platinum debit card in which there is no annual fee. When I called the customer care for the first time I have been told that the amount will be reimbursed within three working days. The second time I have called the customer care I have been told that I will receive the debit Card within three working days. And it’s been almost 1 month I haven’t received the platinum debit card and the deducted amount. I have get in touch with one of your employee Mr Ajit even he end up having no solution for this issue. And I don’t want to call the customer care again and again for these small issues. This is the worst customer care experience I have ever get. I will close my account and I want the full refund if this issue can’t be solved as soon as possible.
