My account with Kotaksecurities.com has today forcefully and wrongly liquidated shares held in my account.

This was as margin has apparently fallen below the required margin.

However, as informed on 22/2 to Kotak Securities Team Nitin Kapoor / Kotak Bank RM Shalu Agarwal the margin shortfall is being wrongly calculated for my Portfolio. This is as security held of Hinduja Global Solutions has undergone 1:1 share split and the portfolio account is NOT reflecting the correct shares.

When above was informed to my Kotak Bank RM Shalu Agarwal, he has confirmed that there is NO margin shortfall (enclosed is whatsapp chat). This was reiterated, as I received email notifications from Kotak Securities and always had sufficient funds available to transfer to my Kotak Securities account which would have been transferred to avoid any margin shortfall / forced liquidation of shares.

Further, with the drop in share price of Berger Paints from date bought, I have realized loss of Rs. 15, 542.8 (= 251 shares * 725.70 price bought - 663.8 price sold).

Please advise possible resolution asap and recovery of full loss realized of Rs. 15, 542.8.

      Incorrect Ledger balance

      I have been constantly writing emails to kotak securities regarding incorrect Ledger balance and trading amount, but have not received any clarification on the same.

          Hi, I have account with Kotak securities which was opened ages ago. I have not used the account for the while and so it became dormant. I wanted to reactivate it again as the company I work for has made it legal binding for me to submit the statement for my DMAT account every quarter. When I sent KYC to get it activated I got to know that the account details were burnt in nax fire and the account is suspended as I had not submitted the documents...

              I bought shares worth Rs.3, 45000 on Thursday 3rd Feb 2022. Due to insufficient funds in my account, I had contacted the customer care regarding the further action to be taken. They informed me that 23% interest would be charged on the insufficient funds until payment of funds. But today 7th Feb 2022, when I contacted the customer care they informed me that the funds should be available on T+2 days i.e. today. Otherwise the shares would be liquidated by the Risk team. Due to the mislead by the customer care, I could not arrange funds priory. Kindly give me time for transferring funds.

                I am having demat account in kotak securities.
                1)had applied for fno segment activation 15 days back .Nil results .
                2) applied for unpledge of 50 reliance pp shares .Nil results
                3) called kotak cust. Care ( [protected]) 20 times and mailed 10 times(serviice.[protected]@kotak.Com ) but no solution .
                4 ) every time reply from customer care " give us 24-48 hours "
                5 ) 20 times they have given reply " give us 24-48 hours " .They are just irritating .
                6 ) cust. Care just creating nuissance and not inersted in getting job done

                  On 13/12/2021, requested for closure of my demat and trading account through mail.
                  I received a mail that it will be processed shortly. I received many calls from kotak Securities regarding closure of my account.
                  I just requested to close the account due to the worst experience I had with Kotak securities. Till date the account is not closed.and now my account is being charged and showing negative balance.
                  Kindly please close my account.

                          I have to leave kotak securities in 2010.
                          And I want to withdrawa my epf amount. But you dont update my date of joining and date of exit in epfo portal. And I am facing mANY PROBLEM. I have mail you and your responsible person and she told me problem will solve earliest. But stil it's going to 40 days.
                          And I am watching g like ###. And you dont mail me or any response for my issue.
                          Is that your work to irritated your ex employee. Or neglects when he left job.
                          Is not your responsibility to provied him support for any issues.
                          I am trying for last 4 to 5 years but you or your company person not given me any response.
                          So I do this .
                          After that my problem not solve so your have given me proper explanation what is problem.

                            I took a personal loan from Kotak securities for personal reasons(In July) and 1 month after I got a call for a credit card from Kotak bank (August). I do not know how but someone maybe from the employees took my details and bought a Phone, I did not provide them with any original document (for the credit card) but somehow it was processed without my knowledge/consent. I have been to the Kalyani Nagar Branch many times, but no results. ruining my credit score. My SIBIL score is too low right now. Please ask them to remove it from my PAN. Also due to my different sign in my bank account. they were unable to collect the money or it would have been a different story altogether.

                              I am not able to my funds from Kotak bank account to Kotak securities account. I am facing this issue for the last 3 months. I have asked my issue to both of the customer care (Kotak Securities and Kotak Bank) people but they are blaming each other and I am not getting any proper solution for a long time. Every time they accept a query and won't work properly and back with some silly answers. I am very frustrated with this type of issue. I need some who really help me out through this issue.                                   I had trading account in Kotak securities. I had excess amount. But Mr Arun Kumar had traded without any intimation, and made minus balance. Without asking me Kotak securities people have sold 16 BOB shares. I want my 16 shares back.

                                    A couple of years ago, I purchased Syndicate bank shares and a 6 months ago moved all shares to Kotak securities.

                                    Recently on September 2021, I sold all my shares and an amount of 1, 82, 000 has been available in Kotak securities.

                                    While trying to do Funds Payout it has been rejected. Saying your IFSC code is wrong.

                                    As Syndicate bank is merged with Canara bank only IFSC code has been changed. So I initiated a change request by sending courier of KYC updation form and cancelled cheque leaf of my Canara bank. [16th oct 2021]

                                    Syndicate IFSC Code: SYNB0003061
                                    Canara Bank IFSC Code: CNRB0000891

                                    After few days, received an email stating my
                                    details has been updated successfully.
                                    [Date: 23rd Oct 2021, ReferenceId : 35231242]

                                    Then I raised a Funds Payout request. Again it has been rejected saying IFSC code is still not updated.

                                    After many calls and chats with Kotak Securities they said “My bank details has been Updated only for Demat account and not for Trading account.”

                                    I don’t understand purpose o[censored]pdating only demat account without updating Trading account.

                                    When asked Kotak securities, they said Trading team has to update my details. They didn’t updated even after one month.

                                    So, I have opened a savings bank account in Kotak Mahindra Bank only for this purpose and sent courier again KRA modification form and Kotak Mahindra bank cancelled cheque for changing account details [Nov 16th 2021]

                                    On 20th Nov 2021, received an email from Kotak Securities [Reference number:[protected]] saying as per SEBI Credit Settlement Payout Rs 1, 89, 028.27 /- will be credited to your bank account maintain with us. If failure a cheque will be dispatched to registered communication address.

                                    But not received anything till now.

                                    Now they rejected my updation saying Affidavit is not notarised. When asking about affidavit details customer care guys says need to courier your details again. [23rd Nov 2021, ReferenceId: 35915039]

                                    I don’t know what to do now and whom should I contact as customer care cancels my calls in between and WhatsApp chat says send courier for all questions. Literally no one is answering properly and they don’t know about the mails I received from Kotak securities even after providing query ids.

                                    I am in need of money desperately and I sold all my shares three months ago and my amount has been stuck at Kotak Securities. Consider this as a serious matter.

                                    Request you to resolve my issue on priority basis and Kindly do the needful.
