A month ago, lakme opened a beauty parlour in malaviya avenue third street, thiruvanmiyur, chennai - 600041.
This has been opeed in a primary residential area, and according to cmda rules no license can be issued to such commercial establishments in a primary residential area. Therefore, this parlour is unauthorised.
The owner \ franchisee has no permission to run this from the corporation. I have their reply saying so to my rti application.
They have opened the parlour on a very busy road and the clients park their vehicles on the footpath, putting the lives of walkers in danger. The clients also use the common parking area meant for the residents of the building from which they operate.
And the address put up in the front ad board is wrong. Businesses cannot put up false addresses on their ads. The board says, 28/1, mg road, malaviya avenue third street, besant nagar. This is patently false. Malaviya avenue third street is in thiruvanmiyur, chennai - 41. Besant nagar is chennai - 86. This is not even a corner apartment building. So why the mix-up in the addresses?
Does lame encourage such opening of its outlets in residential areas, flouting all rules without a license to operate?
Please ask the owner/franchisee to close this down at once. This business is unauthorised and illegal. It has no license to operate and will never get one, at least through legitimate means.
