Dear Sir,
I am Richard Joseph, writing to you all on the Seventh Days of highly disappointed
and embarrassed week of my Life. After hundreds of Phone Call and don’t know
how many mental pains and agony, Today I was told to wait for another 6 days as
The replacement TV is been Shipped from Chennai. A ONE Day old of TV of 55’ takes
12 Days to be replaced. This is when that the fault was detached within 24hrs. This is
The last thing I expected from a Brand Like LG. However for once I leave the Product
Aside, The after Sales Service was One notch higher. A Good length Mail was written to
The Officials Like


Resolve the issue or I will make sure it reaches to the highest level of LG.

    I bought a refrigerator from Jeevan Jee Refrigeration Engineers, Lajpat Nagar on 29/06/17.

    The Model no on the bill is GL-I302RPZL 284 Lts but the model no on the Refrigerator is GL-I302RPZY 284 Lts. I don't know if that will be an issue with warranty.

    The product reached me on 02/07/17. There was no booklet, no warranty card and no keys. Since I had taken pictures at their showroom, I found they have sent me the displayed piece while they had promised me a fresh piece.

    The demo person came but did not give me any booklet, warranty card or key.

    The fridge was sent on a Rickshaw with only the rickshaw puller to offload. I had checked with them at the showroom before, whether they will be sending someone and I was assured on that.
    I had to hire a person to help get the fridge inside.

    When I called the owner Gunjan Narula and told him I will be deducting some money to pay that guy and take up this issue with LG, I was told that I was being very extra smart. Either I should deduct the money or Complain. I chose the latter.

    This is my first LG experience. I never expected such high-handedness and rudeness for no fault of mine.

    I wanted a New Refrigerator and a hassle-free delivery and installation.

    I had decided on LG After reading a lot of positive reviews on your service, but am left pretty disappointed.

    All I can say is Life's not so good with LG after all.

    I bought an AC from Jeevan Jee Refrigeration Engineers, Lajpat Nagar on 18/04/19.

    The Model no on the bill is LWA18CPXA but the model no on the AC is LWA18GWXA. I don't know if that will be an issue with warranty.

    The product reached me on 18/04/19. The guy setup the AC, got the papers signed and left, that's when I noticed the model number on AC box, which was different than the one ordered.

    I had asked in showroom a hundred times and this guy Shubham every time had a response, 100% you will get it.

    I had decided on LG after a lot of positive reviews but this shop is a disappointment.

      Dear sirs,

      My name is wilfred dmello and i have been a loyal customer of lg ever since it came to india in the 90s. All these years i purchased lg products like tvs, washing machine, airconditioner, refrigerator etc thinking that your products were of good quality, durable & after sales service would be better than the other lesser known brands. I was recently proved wrong by lg because of this recent incident.

      I purchased a lg refrigerator model no. Gl-408yvqg4 vide invoice no. E251716 on 25/08/2012 from snehanjali, vasai (W) for ₹33000/-. The refrigerator worked fine for some time & then the problem started. Recently i had to contact lg customer service for fridge compartment cooling problem on 09/05/2017. Freezer was working fine but there was no
      Cooling in the fridge compartment. Lg customer care person mr. Avdesh from sky services, mira road attended to the fridge & said that the rear heating plate was faulty & had to be replaced. He asked us to follow up with the service centre for the solution. Mr. Avdesh charged ₹290/- visit charges vide invoice no. 00819 dt. 09/05/2017.

      After repeated follow up with sky services, the service representative mr. Shakil asked me to send him my refrigerator purchase bill with serial no. Of the fridge which i sent immediately. After further follow-up i was told by mr. Shakil that the refrigerator was not repairable by them since the heater coil was fixed to the refrigerator body & that his senior mr. Om prakash yadav would give a commercial solution. When i spoke to mr. Om prakash yadav, he informed me that since the refrigerator could not be repaired by them, they would give me a 15% discount on the purchase of a new lg refrigerator.
      Since my refrigerator was still under warranty (5 year compressor) i refused the commercial solution since it was the company's duty to either repair my refrigerator or replace it with a new refrigerator. I called up customer service again & told them about the updates. The customer service representative mr. Surendra gave me a contact number of ms. Neetu singh and told me she was service in charge at sky services. I spoke with ms. Neetu singh and informed her about my concern. She assured me that she would get back to me in the evening after checking with sky services, mira road. I did not get a call from her that evening, so i tried calling her for the whole week but she was unreachable. She was clearly ignoring my calls since she would not take calls or her phone was switched off. Feeling dejected, i called lg customer support once again and this time they gave me the contact number of the area service manager of sky services, mr. Parag choksi. I called him a couple of times and he was also of little help as he kept on repeating the commercial solution of 15% discount on the purchase of a new lg refrigerator. I also tried calling his senior mr. Bipin but he sent me
      An sms informing me that he could not talk & i whatsapp my query instead. I am writing to you since i am not getting proper response & solution to my faulty refrigerator problem. I have even written several email to lg customer service, copy of which is attached. Lg customer care emailed me and told to talk to mr. Parag choksi, which i did, but he kept repeating his earlier commercial solution of 15% discount on purchase of a new lg refrigerator which i refused. I have the following questions to the officials concerned at lg:

      1) the subject refrigerator is still covered under the 5 year warranty (Compressor). Lg is being unethical & irresponsible byexpressing its inability to service the refrigerator & asking me to buy a new refrigerator. If it can't repair a product under warranty, it should replace the product free of cost.

      2) your service representatives (Sky services) are very rude & unhelpful. They think they are doing customers a favour by providing them service. They are spoiling lgs reputation in the market by harassing lg customers.

      3) the commercial solution of a marginal discount (15%) on purchase of a new lg refrigerator is not acceptable to me since i will not purchase any lg product in my lifetime if this service query is not reasonably resolved.
      4) i am approaching you for this problem as a last resort. I hope you take consumer's complaints seriously & settle my claim by replacing my unservisible refrigerator with a similar new refrigerator.

        TheTV is out of order for 10 days and I had booked a complaint with customer care The TV is under extended warranty.The local office attended to the complaint and replaced the required part.But after some time the same problem has come up and I had contacted Mr.Abvish, Service Engineer who had attended the complaint Mob[protected] informed that he would set right.But so far he has not helped in resolving the problem and for the last three days i have telephoned for more that 30 times and he is not receiving the mobile.Can you please help me resolve the problem

          I booked a complain through LG's help line vide ref RNP[protected] on 04.07.2017 for repair of my Microwave oven. The SMS received containing the complaining docket no. also mentioned the name of the technician Mr. Koushik Bakshi along with his mobile no. When I called the technician in the evening he responded he has no information on the matter. I called their help line twice again yesterday and once today but only assurance was given that technician will visit asap. But unfortunately none arrived or called me.

          The service of LG is going worse day by day.

            Hi lg service, naveen reddy from chittoor dist, andhra pradesh. I bought a double door refrigerator and service centre agent came and installed the same on january 2017. Once service agent left my place, we found that refrigerator is not working (Not giving cooling) within 10 minutes. I called to him, he said he will come two days later to check. After a week service person came and checked my refrigerator, found that compressor is not working. He asked me to cal customer care, and request a ticket to replace (Rnp[protected]. After 20 days new compressor came and replaced it. But my refrigerator not working. Service agent checked and advised me to shift fridge to their service center (Balaji kool care, chittoor). I shifted.

            Its been six months now, they found that there are multiple issues like, compressor issue, cooling coil issue, electrical board issue, compressor oil pipe issue, there are many issues in that refrigerator, service technician said that it is manufacturer defect product.

            Still they are unable to sort what exact problem is in that fridge. My warranty of six months expired without using 10minutes.

            With these many issues i cann't accept the same product after six months. So please consider my issue and please provide me a replacement or refund. We believe lg products are good in quality and best in service, so using lg brand since 15 years.

            Service center (Balaji cool care, chittor & area manager from tirupathi) persons are not responding to my phone calls and i visited 10 times to their service center during this six months.

            I have purchased 284ltr LG refrigerator on 18th june 2017. installation was done on 20th June 2017. since then cooling effect is not there. the same has been noticed and brought to LG service person on very same day. he explained to get proper cooling effect it will take 8hoursagain we complained as there was absolutely zero cooling effect even after keeping refrigerator on for more than 8hours.RNP no[protected]/[protected] dated 22nd June 2017. LG has sent their technical person and said the reason for cooling is electrical earthing is not proper. we called electrician and got checked and made special earthing provision on 25th June 2017. inspite of this the cooling effect was ZERO. we raised complaint again RNP[protected]. LG technical service person came on 27th June 2017 and found filter drier and gas is faulty. hence we asked replacement of LG refrigerator. since then we have been calling but no response from LG RNP [protected]. whenever we check only response is " your request has been forwarded and its in process". its almost one month passed we bought Refrigerator but LG has not taken any action to replace. we are very much distressed as its occupying space and we have manage day to day perishable goods. many times it becomes stale/rotten. LG home appliances should held responsible for the agony/inconvenience caused.

              My order id [protected], i was placed an order for lg 80 cm (32) hd/hd ready smart led tv 32lh576d through paytm and i got the delivery on 01/07/2017 and almost 5 days we have approached lg customer care and paytm customer care but till now no response from both of them for the installation. We have called 3 times to lg customer care and they are registering the complaints after that no response from them. Please help us to do the needful asap.

                I had purchased the said water purifier on 21st May 2017. Till date i have not been able to use the watrer from the purifier. The reason is a chemical smell coming from the water . The LG service team has repeatedly come and tried to rectify the same but the issue is not resolved yet. They have also given me a replacement equipment but this too has the same problem.

                It is a problem with the model itself. Please exchange the same with a lower model that does not have the hot and cold water option. This is because the chemical smell is coming from the hot water.

                  I had purchased my phone in nov 2015, now it does not fall under any warranty neither extended one.
                  All of a sudden on 25th June 2017, it restarted on its own, since then I am not able to use my phone.
                  I am very careful user when it comes to handling phones. My last sony xperia phone is still working which is more than 5 year old and my Nexus 5X is dead because of some hardware issue which is not even 2 years old.
                  I would like to hear from LG whether they can do anything about it. Since this is not a usage related fault it's manufacturing fault as can be seen from many other complaints.
                  I would surely like to get refund or replacement device.

                    We are having a persistent issue with our LG refrigerator.
                    Frost is being formed in all the racks as well as in the vegetable and fruit basket leading to damage of the stored content inside the refrigerator.

                    We raised a complaint and was followed by an engineer visit. The engineer reported the issue as arising out of duct assembly problem and accordingly replaced the duct pipe. But that did not resolve the issue.

                    Kindly arrange for the resolution of the problem as soon as possible or replace the product.

                    The model number of the product is GL-D402JHSL.

                      Respected sir, i had complained personally to services (Mr ajay mob no: [protected]), reliance digital, nizampura, vadodara, gujarat on 28/6/2017 for video problem, audio is there.

                      Lg tv model no: 42lb5610-tc. Atrwljl.2614 was purchased from the above store in march 2015. Engineer sh. Kalpesh mob no:[protected], attended on 28/6/2017. He informed that led is to be replaced at a cost of rs 5000 ; i agreed. He said that he would come on 3/7/2017. But he did not turn up. I telephoned him on monday 3/7/2017 as per his instructions. He said that it would take few more days and send to tv lg services centre, udyog nagar nizampura krishna services. Without any responsiblity of his spoken words as per his recommendation on home services of led replacement. Service is very very poor sir. Please do the needful at the earliest.

                        I bought LG Refrigerator in 2010 and its been 7 years and there is some sound coming out from display section. I first complaint this in 2016 and they changed some part and charged around Rs 3500 and now again after 6 months sound is coming again. when I responded the incident then no body responded efficiently and they said we won't this part available from now onwards hence not repairable.. What the hell is this I purchased this for around 50-60000 and this is the customer service we are getting from LG.
                        I hope this issue will get addressed.

                            I bought LG LED 81cm 32LF581B on 20.08.2015. But within two years, it started giving problem. Two days back when I started the TV, WHITE light spot was visible on the screen. I thought, it will disappear on its own later. But it didn't. It is now showing white light spot On screen. Tried to contact lg care, Bt number is always busy, some numbers does not exist. Highly disappointed by the product and customer services of services.

                              I have got this refrigerator in Nov 2016, but since then this was sealed packed and just opened in couple of days before and from the day one it's not working as expected though it comes in elite product of LG. Upon speaking to customer services and they have visited my home several times and found that it's has manufacturing defect and ready to repair it but I don't agree on it.
                              I want a complete replacement for this product and don't want to get it repaired.
                              If this kind of service LG will give to its premium product then I afraid to say that it's my last LG product. Kindly look into this issue and contact me asap as I suffered a lot.

                                  I have tried several times to have my PORTABLE AC THAT IS ON RECALL repaired by calling LG RECALL CENTER. Every time I am promise a call back or an email with a label to send it to them for repair. Nothing has happen yet. I work in a VERY LARGE RETAIL STORE thst sells several LG products including APPLIANCES. I have ALWAYS supported LG with my customers. But with many other choices GE WHIRLPOOL SAMSUNG. I am about to change my mind on LG. You have gone way down on customer service and why would I want to sell LG products to my customers when they will get the same kind of service as I have!!!

                                    Hi,

                                    I own lg nexus 5x. I had purchased it on 19th december 2015. My phone suddenly went in the restart mode on january 15, 2017 after the nougat update (Almost a month after the warranty). I submitted my phone to lg service center (Pune), they checked and confirmed its a motherboard issue and it will take 10, 000 to repair the phone (I can buy a new phone by putting 5000 extra).

                                    I read the forums that lg us is refunding due to these issues even if the phone is not in warranty. Please suggest a solution or else i will be forced to file a complaint in the consumer court.

                                    This was not expected out of lg. I am a nexus lover and i trust lg. I have used nexus 4 and also nexus 5 before 5x but never faced such an issue. This phone should have been a better version of nexus 5.

                                      I here by like to inform you that i have purchased lg split ac on 03/06/2017 from lg sangeet tv centre, no anyone is coming from lg service centre even after giving complaints, ac is completely leakage, continuosly water is coming from ac, and ac is not getting cool on 18 also..
                                      I have already told that lg sangeet tv centre to resolve my issue, but he is not ready to co operate..

                                      Very poor service..
