I am using LG Nexus 5x for over 15 months now.

Suddenly my phone have started rebooting on its own and i am unable to use it. when spoke to the LG service center, they are stating that its a motherboard failure.

i have googled this issue and almost all Nexus users are facing this issue after updating the phone to Nougat. This is an issue with LG that the phones are causing issues after Android update. If the phones were incapable of taking the new OS this update should not have been rolled out.

Now Service center is asking for another 10K to repair the phone as my phone is out of warranty. Not sure if this a new way to cheat customers.
it is not the user who has asked to roll out the update, motherboard failure if not the user's fault. we have paid 30k to buy this product.

LG should own this and stand up for its customers.

    Dear Service team,
    We bought a water purifier in Mar'16 ; 3 days back the product was not functioning. Service request logged to helpline number ; LG representative visited found IC is blow off & some smoke also observed on back panel. Also the water dispensing rate is very low since last service & the same is informed to LG service representative.

    Now we are waiting since last 3 days the parts still not replaced ...

    Since its major risk of safety because it may cause fire in our home. Requested to replace the complete purifier may be its having some major fault inside which may reoccur after warranty period.

      I sushma arora purchased LG refrigerator, LG LED and front load LG washing machine to gift my daughter in her marriage. At the time of installation it was reported that panel is not working. We asked to replace the product but no one bothered. Being an old customer I have lost the faith with LG products. I sent a notice to my dealer but he did not even receved it. I have to bear with a lot of embarrassment from my daughters in laws.

        I pawas anand am writing this on behalf of my old parents in india, i am currently based out of manila. my mother (68 yrs old) and father 72 (yrs old) live at 45/3, harmony homes, sector 57, gurgaon, india. my mother, mrs. renu srivastava reached out to me last week after running from pillar post regarding the problem with her refrigerator, which suddenly broke without any use of force or otherwise from the plastic clamp which is fixed at the bottom door of the refrigerator compartment. pictures of the issue are attached for your reference, she lodged a complaint which was closed without any resolution hence i am left with no option but to escalate. it is a very expensive refrigerator and guess top of the line when we bought, was approx inr80k or around. overall the refrigerator is in perfect condition minus this door issue, i spoke with the dealer and he very confidently said me to escalate the issue as lg takes good care of its customer and will source the part at any cost. i am left with no choice but to escalate as my old parents will not be able to afford a new machine at this age, please help. humble request.

          I have been a loyal LG customer and most of my current home appliances (Fridge, Washing Machine, Microwave) are from LG. Recently the washing machine was replaced with a new LG one after 7 years as the motor died. The microwaves magnetron has been changed 3 times now in last 2 years and needs a change again. What's the issue here? We can't be paying 2.5 K INR every 8-9 months. Is the quality that bad? We can't be chasing customer support and price too seems higher. Little skeptical about getting it fixed again as the price has increased since we changed it for the first time( 1.5 K INR).
          I have been trying to contact you but nobody is responding! Its pathetic for company like LG to gives such products and even worse services.
          Hoping for some quick resolution\, at least this time.

            Sir I'm very upset abt ur service.. I have called ur customer care service 4 times on 19/02/17 asked for a technician for an emergency.. No one turned up & no information from ur side. Wen I called 4th time in d nite they said dat they don't work on Sunday. U have wasted my whole day. And d next day i.e today 20/02/17 no information from ur side. Wen v cancel d appointment u wants us to pay d service charge & tax.. wen u cancel d appointment I would like to say day v don't want to pay d service charge & tax for next service. Time is precious for us. I[censored] can't fulfill d customer requirements kindly stop d LG sale & service. V have better options. I hate ur product & will not recommend to anyone.

              A complaint was lodged for repair of LG Washing Machine and it was registered vide no. RNP[protected]. Accordingly, a mechanic reached to the address on date for repair. But, he failed to rectify the defect and amazingly charged Rs.515/- which has been paid by my wife, for which no receipt has been provided. Moreover, when I tried to contact him, he didn't picked my phone.

              Necessary action may please be taken so that rectification may be done up to costumer satisfaction level. Also, action on such mischievous & irresponsible staff may be taken for non repetition of the occurrence in future.

                I bought fridge LG Ff 4201 GI-i472QNSL (Sl No JQAZ609PRCMO81859IN), 420ltr on 30 Nov 16. Stopped cooling on 07 Feb 2017. The defect reported to LG Complaints on 07/02/[protected]. LG rep came on 11 Feb and info that gas pipe was rusted and leaking. Cut open metal pipe and carried out welding to make it functional, which implies that delivery of the fridge was carried out without any check of its parts as it stopped working within 2 months of purchase. Now there is also leakage & spillage of water from fridge’s rear side on floor & freezing of ice on suction pipe. On complaint with LG (RNP[protected] &[protected] &[protected] &[protected], LG rep reported on 15 Feb 17 & took photos of repaired pipe and suction pipe and spillage of water. Since the fridge has gone off road within a 2 months of purchase due to rusted pipe which was repaired on adhoc basis and further resulted in spillage of water and accumulation of ice on suction pipe of which the photographs were taken by LG rep on 15 Feb, I request that the defective fridge be replaced immediately which is well under the warranty as only two months old. The defects occurred within two months implies that the said piece was defective and was not giving its optimum performance. Getting repairs in the form of welding and soldering at this stage is a very horrifying experience as I have spent Rs 53000/- on the LG product. The development of faults in the early stage indicates that more faults/defects may occur in near future. Notwithstanding, the LG rep has now informed on 16 Feb that replacement not approved and only repairs will be done. Do I purchase the fridge for repairs and keep calling LG reps every second day which is not acceptable. It is the moral duty of the renowned company like LG to replace the defective product which is just 2 months old and not adhere to repairs. Hence, the case for replacement of the fridge be considered at the earliest.

                No one has contacted since the complaint was lodged. This lackadaisical approach by the renowned company is not acceptable. The water from rear right side of the fridge still leaking and spoiling the floor, making entire room messy and dirty. I request that the defective fridge be replaced immediately which is well under the warranty as only two months old. The inadequacy of quality, nature and manner of perfection, defects occurred within two months implied that the said piece was defective and imperfect which was not giving its optimum performance. Occurrence of fault within such a short period may lead to developing further faults. Hence, I request that the petition may please be put up to the highest authority for intervention and replacement of defective fridge.

                LG representative visited again on 26 Feb 2017 against complaint No RNP[protected] and the technical representative spent almost 2 hrs and carried out the repairs. The water leakage has been found again on 27 Feb morning from the same place. God knows what has been rectified. The leakage of water is making the environment unhygienic and is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. This is the third time when the repairs were carried out within a span of two and half months but without any results. I doubt whether LG has required qualified technical reps. Every time the rep repairs but the problem consists. The inadequacy of quality, nature and manner of perfection, defects occurred within two months implied that the said piece was defective and imperfect which was not giving its optimum performance. Occurrence of fault within such a short period may lead to developing further faults. Hence, I request that the petition may please be put up to the highest authority for intervention and replacement of defective fridge. The representative named as SUSHANTA who repaired was also informed on 27 Feb morning that the fault still exists. REQUEST REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PIECE AT THE EARLIEST and the inconveniences to me and my family has caused tremendous harassment. Is this the way LG functions?

                Further to my complaints stated above, yesterday was the forth time when the LG representative came to repair the dripping of water. Yet again the fridge has been found leaking water from the rear right side. It seems LG does not have any experts to diagnose a fault correctly. Even the Ice Cream in the freezer is taking more than 12 hrs to solidify. As per LG representative it is because of the less items in the freezer and is not loaded to its full capacity which is ridiculous. Request once again to replace the said fridge forthwith being an imperfect and defective product.

                Further to Complaint No RNP[protected] dated 02 Mar 2017, Fresh photo with date and time is forwarded herewith. It is also informed that freezer is not (NOT) providing optimum cooling. Ice cream kept inside is still soggy. There are serious issues with the freezer. Please send representative to verify and check. Besides in view of the faulty and defective piece request replace the same as repairs carried out four times has not (NOT) yielded any result.

                  We Had bought fridge in the month of July and logged the complain in November stating that the veg and fruits what ever we keep in the fridge, The freshness is sucked by the fridge.After this complain executive visited and said some story and said observe and call back we called continuously no reply and than we raised complaint to service center this month no one are helping...Worst Managers : Jagadish-[protected] - Does not know what is professionalism he is not aware how to talk to the customers and he has sent 3 untrained executives... Guess he himself does not anything and how will he measure the quality of his executives...After the 3rd executive visit now veg are caching fungus kindly look into the pics
                  Even contacted head supervisor - Rajkumar – [protected] he just want to send his executive to our place every time when we call him... not sure why he want to send them... I need solution

                    Fraud Company LG - I would strongly recommend people please do not buy LG refrigerator as the product is worst... And customer service is an ----- they don't bother for any customer they will direct you to some manager and those managers will not bother for any help and ignore your calls & SMS am cheated fraud company...I will publish the same in media very soon...

                    I will for sure spread your services to all the sites and also get the same add published in the newspaper...

                    Its totally fraud company, Executives visited yesterday night and now they are telling new problem that they need to replace the gas pipe... Why should we go for repair when its brand new fridge..Am lodging a police complaint today if I do not get the refund with in 3pm... get ready to face the consequences... Jagadish, Rajkumar, Manjunath, Sukmar & Alaudin are the guys am going to file...

                      Further to Complaint No RNP[protected], surprisingly the complainant has now received a massage from LG Care that the customer can not be contacted which is false and no one from LG contacted me after 17 Feb. The complaint has been closed by LG without taking any step.

                      LG representative visited again on 26 Feb 2017 against complaint No RNP[protected] and the technical representative spent almost 2 hrs and carried out the repairs. The water leakage has been found again on 27 Feb morning from the same place. God knows what has been rectified. The leakage of water is making the environment unhygienic and is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. This is the third time when the repairs were carried out within a span of two and half months but without any results. I doubt whether LG has required qualified technical reps. Every time the rep repairs but the problem consists. The inadequacy of quality, nature and manner of perfection, defects occurred within two months implied that the said piece was defective and imperfect which was not giving its optimum performance. Occurrence of fault within such a short period may lead to developing further faults. Hence, I request that the petition may please be put up to the highest authority for intervention and replacement of defective fridge. The representative named as SUSHANTA who repaired was also informed on 27 Feb morning that the fault still exists. REQUEST REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PIECE AT THE EARLIEST and the inconveniences to me and my family has caused tremendous harassment. Is this the way LG functions?

                      Further to my complaints stated above, yesterday was the forth time when the LG representative came to repair the dripping of water. Yet again the fridge has been found leaking water from the rear right side. It seems LG does not have any experts to diagnose a fault correctly. Even the Ice Cream in the freezer is taking more than 12 hrs to solidify. As per LG representative it is because of the less items in the freezer and is not loaded to its full capacity which is ridiculous. Request once again to replace the said fridge forthwith being an imperfect and defective product.

It is also informed that freezer is not (NOT) providing optimum cooling. Ice cream kept inside is still soggy. There are serious issues with the freezer. Please send representative to verify and check. Besides in view of the faulty and defective piece request replace the same as repairs carried out four times has not (NOT) yielded any result.

                        I was bought said LED in feb 2014 and display of LED automatically currupt without reason with in 3 yr. Such costly parts can not be afforded middle class family on regular yearly basis. I want to know on what measure quality of said part would be checked by company. If such parts would be automatically deffected in such short time so that company is cheating the consumer and it becomes consumer court matter. pl give early reply

                          Very Very Very bad customer service
                          They can't handle a customer compliant properly
                          Although they solved the problem on my TV several times it backs a gain
                          there's no escalation process
                          there's no proper lead time to close the compliant

                            Dear Customer Care,

                            I am utterly disappointed in the LG brand since I brought a brand new LG G4 mobile on 3rd Dec 2015 and was equally excited about the same. It was my first LG mobile and had Sony, Moto, Nokia in the past. It was a risk for me but still i took it.

                            Now after an year, yesterday suddenly my phone just stops at the LG logo screen and doesnt move from there. It gets stuck on the LG logo screen and removing battery or a hard reset doesnt do anything good. I read about this problem online and many users have complained the same. It is utterly shameful that LG is not disclosing this problem in spite of this being a world wild failure and LG is not taking responsibility.

                            Requesting you to give me a solution since this is really a downfall for LG and you are at the verge of loosing a brand follower. I have other LG products at home but now I am beginning to think if I should switch over to other brands.

                              Yeah. The Same problem only happened to me. They are asking me Rs.13, 000 to repair. How LG is doing such activities ? Updating Android will cause Motherboard Failure means where is the Quality lies in LG. They didn't resolved this issue and they started to Manufacture Smartwatches. I don't know How many fellows are going to hurt by the Watches. Atleast we recommend them not to buy LG Products which fails exactly after 12 months of warranty.

                              Actually I have also got the same problem with my phone.

                              I think something is wrong with the LG product because within the warranty period nothing happened but after expiry of warranty, something fails.

                                My LG G4 mobile is started boot loop issue. When I contact Bangalore service center, I was told, its a known LG manufacturing issue and my mobile mother board will be replaced, I need to pay for that and the cost which comes around 10k.

                                Since Its LG's fault and known Hardware issue, Why I need to pay from my pocket? Why cant LG address this issue?

                                  I purchased a refrigerator LG Ff 4201 GI-i472qnsl Noble Steel (Serial No JQAZ609PRCMO81859IN), 420 ltr 30/11/2016 which was installed on 01/12/2016 by LG. Stopped cooling on 07 Feb 2017. The defect was reported to LG Complaints on 07/02/[protected]. LG representative came on 08/02/2017 & could not rectify. Another representative came on 11 Feb 2017 and found that the gas pipe was rusted and leaking, which implies that the delivery of new refrigerator was carried out with out any check with regards to its parts as the same stopped functioning within two months of its purchase. It was really sad to see the representative cut open the metal pipe and carried out required welding to make it functional. I am the proud owner of LG Smart LED 53", Microwave 30 ltrs and AC. However, my faith has been shaken after this incident. Being a serving army officer, i will not hesitate to inform the environment about the sad event. Repairs within two months of purchase also indicates that some other parts which are not visible may also be rotten and will come to light in near future. Since it is under warranty, I strongly deserve replacement of the fridge. It was not a pleasant experience to see the LG Representative carrying out repairs on the new fridge.

                                  Further to the above complaint, it is found that there is also leakage of water from rear right side of the fridge. The water is spread on the floor for the past two days. No LG representative has reported after 11 Feb 2017. Since the fridge had gone off road within a period of two months of its purchase due to rusted pipe which resulted in leakage of gas and repairs in the form of cutting and soldering of the rusted pipe was carried out to make it functional on adhoc basis, it is requested that the faulty refrigerator be replaced being in warranty period.

                                  It is OK to understand that such faults occur after five to six years of purchase and not within two months, which implies that the such piece was defective and old. No inspection was carried out prior to delivery. The cut piece of the rusted pipe is kept with me as an evidence.

                                  This case may please be taken up with highest level /authority of LG to replace the fridge. Being a serving army officer, it seems that the hard earned money has gone waste.

                                  Now there is also leakage & spillage of water from fridge’s rear side on floor & freezing of ice on suction pipe. On complaint with LG (RNP[protected] &[protected], LG rep reported on 11 & 15 Feb 17 & took photos of repaired pipe and suction pipe and spillage of water. Since the fridge has gone off road within a 2 months of purchase due to rusted pipe and repaired on adhoc basis, request defective fridge be replaced. LG rep informed on 16 Feb that replacement not approved and only repairs will be done. Since the defects occurred within two months implies that more defects will escalate in the yrs to come, it is the moral duty of the renowned company like LG to replace the defective product which is just 2 months old and not adhere to repairs. Hence, the case for replacement of the fridge be considered at the earliest.

                                      I had purchased LG LCD 32" in Nallasopara 2011 Now am facing a problem with the display of the TV and I had complained to the LG customer care. They did send a technician who examined the TV and said there was a problem with the motherboard and it needs to be replaced. I have told them to do so to which the company customer care did assure that the part is available and they will order it and charge me accordingly to which I had agreed Now they have come back to me saying that it is not available.

                                        I am T.R.Seshadri from Chennai and I have bought several LG products in the last 2 years. Now I regret having bought them due to very poor and negligent service.
                                        One of the A/Cs which is a 1.5 ton split unit bought (on 1st April 2015 Bill no.FS/RAP/3843 from Girias Investments Pvt Ltd Venkatakrishna road R.A..Puram Chennai), has very low cooling. It has been used sparingly. When I contacted customer care on 06/02/2017, they said the technician will attend to it within 24 hours.When nobody called me I again lodged my complaint.Then the technician from Charm Engineers Mandaveli Chennai 28, came on 08/02/ 2017 and said that the coil has gone and has got to be replaced. The cost will be up to Rs.7000 and since now an offer is going on it will cost approx Rs.5000/-.
                                        When I told him that the A/C is less than 2 years old, he says that the life of the coil is only 1 year and it has got to be changed after that.
                                        I was shocked to hear that and when I said, that the dealer did not mention anything about it, he said, that they will not mention that while selling.
                                        He also charged me Rs.288/- for his visiting charges.
                                        I approached the dealer on the same day evening and mentioned about what the technician had said.
                                        The dealer said he will lodge a complaint from his side and ask them to attend the unit. Nobody came and again I had to go to the dealer the next day 09/02/2017 to remind.
                                        Today, 10/02/2017, instead of anyone attending the fault, the same technician called over phone and said he has nothing to see and only the coil has to be changed and sent me a quotation for Rs.4751/- .
                                        Being very upset, I several times spoke to the service centre and they repeatedly said the same thing without any solution. When demanded for higher officials number, they first gave one Mr. Prabhakaran's number (Service head Chennai) which is [protected]. I tried his number several times but no response. Then again called them to get another number for which they gave one Mr.V.Subramaniam ( All India Service Head) which is [protected]. I tried this number also several times but no response.
                                        It is now clear that LG is totally not bothered about their customer service.
                                        I expect a reply and prompt action from your end
                                        If I am not getting it attended within next 2 days, I will have to proceed to consumer court for compensation and refund of my full money of Rs.39014/- which was charged by the dealer at the time of purchase.
