We bought LG TV - Model - 47LW6500 in 2011. The Manufactured date of the TV is July 2011.

On 31/03/17, I raised a complaint wrt to my TV .
Request Number : CNP[protected] .
The technician visited and said the mother board is gone. He informed that the board is unavailable.

On 1st Apr, I again raised my inquiry with the above complaint copy.

The type of inquiry : Parts or Accessories

"Can I know when it will be available and when can I expect the replacement. Requesting to speed up the process as it is holidays time. Attached is the complaint copy. "

I didn't receive any call. So I proactively called the Helpdesk. They gave me 2 no.s in Bangalore region, with whom I should be Enquiring about Mother Board. I got the same answer from them as well. They were also suggesting me to sell the TV as I get 15% discount as still 6 years is not up (provided I have invoice).

As, it didn't solve my issue. I asked the next escalation person. I was provided the email id. "[protected]@gmail.com". It is 3 days that I have sent email to them and no response till now.

My only concern or issue is, if a company like LG says mother board manufacturing for the said model is stopped (for less than 6 years of manufacturing date), then can I rethink to invest in LG. The TV cost was around 1.5 Lakhs. So where is the value for our investment.

My suggestion would be, spare parts support should be there for atleast 10 years. For Small articles like Washing Machine, Microwave most of the companies give spare part support till 10 years.

I didn't have any complaint with TV till now. But on customer request you should be giving the spare part, though you may take certain amount of time.

    I purchased led tv (42lb5820 - full hd smart tv) from lg on 17th august 2014. From last week onwards, i can see a white spotty circles on the screen while watching tv. I contacted the technicians and got to know that i need to replace the back light panel which costs me around 10000

    We are investing so much money on brands like lg with a trust that it will last longer.
    I spent around 56000/= for the tv thinking it will last long. But, now i feel there is no worth in these brand values and looks like lg is delivering faulty/bad quality products to the customers and cheating the customers with their brand value.

    Its better to buy sony or samsung which are much reliable when compared to this fake company.
    Really lost the trust which i had on this brand.

      COMPLAINT AGAINST FAULTY COMMISSIONING OF SPLIT AC.

      My booking having no. RNP[protected], Dtd.28.03.2017 made through customer care number had been forwarded to your authorized service centre M/s Techno care, Jabalpur for re-installation of split AC; which was earlier removed from my old house at 1453- Vijay Nagar, Jabalpur in the month of Dec.2016 by other service engineer of LG against my request booked on 16.12.2016 through your customer care number.

      The technician sent by M/s Techno care, Jabalpur on 29.03.2017 had not performed their work efficiently and in proper way. Even after the installation of system, they did not check it whether it is having proper cooling or not. They also did not check any leakage for refrigerant gas in the system after connecting the pipes. Probably this lead to leakage of cooling gas from the air conditioner.

      Further the supply cable was not properly traced and most of the cable was outside the building with outer unit of ac. To overcome this problem I had to purchase extra cable for connecting the supply up to the point made in room for air conditioner. After the work completion they failed to give the money receipt / invoice for work.

      As the air conditioner was not performing properly with negligible cooling and the Techno care office was not attending my telephone calls to overcome this problem; I filed a request at your customer care number for attending the problem. After the interference of your local engineer Mr. Nitin Shrivastava, the LG technician visited my house on 01.04.2017 and after checking they had intimated that the refrigerant gas is leaked.

      Since both dismantling and re-installation work has been done by the authorized service staff of LG, hence the leakage of gas from the system is due to carelessness of the LG workers and not from my side; even the work was performed in a gap of three months.

      As such the additional expenditure of Rs. 1500/- incurred by me towards filling of gas on the system should be reimbursed to me. The details of money invoices are as under:-
      a. Invoice No. 01644 dtd.29.03.2017 towards installation of ac amount Rs.1500 +S.T.
      b. Invoice No. 0127 dtd.01.04.2017 towards gas filling charges on ac Amount Rs.1500/-

      I have submitted service requests for my ACs on 1st April. I did not received any feedback within 24 hours in spite of calling 3/4 times to LG customer care. 90% of time the call is coming busy. This is highly unacceptable from LG which boasts of great customer service. Waiting for a resolution ASAP.

        I have purchased a NEW split AC on 31.3.17. Till now they have not installed the AC. Problem is they have no time for installation. I need specific time for installation and they are unable to provide it.

        If you have busy schedule then please do not purchase AC from LG. They are customer unfriendly.

        Call is not attended by faridabad LG service centre. LG customer care is very unfriendly. So, think & talk before your purchase.

          Facts of issue.
          1. Updated my LG nexus 5x to Noughat 7.1.2. It updated successfully.
          2. The very next day Boot Loop issue started.
          3. I took to the LG Authourised service centre. They give all excuses such as
          A. Warranty period over, you have to pay for software installation and also the phone may go dead.
          B. And you would have not installed the update properly.. he means the official update..
          3. Then contacted customer care. They tell no warranty for software.
          And i just wanted to know do you think the customers are a joke ??
          A update is provided by google and LG is approving and giving to its customers and of there is bloat in the software.. who is responsible?? Customer??
          Or should i ask google for it ??
          And how can LG that it is not responsible for the software and no warranty.There is no proper reply by the customer care. Lame excuse by authorised service center.
          Please dont take a customer for a ride.. this is very unpleasant on part of LG.

          Same issue here! Update yesterday to 7.1.2 and today the bootloop started.

            I had purchased LG airconditioner on 21/04/2016 from M/S Yadav Refrigeration, Chaturbedi Complex, Navjeevan Vihar, Vindhyanagar, Singrauli, State- MP. The model is LSA5WT5D, sl. no. 604NAUT030614 for inner and 604NATK031809 for outer. I have repeatedly requested the owner of the shop for warranty yearly servicing of the airconditioner in his mobile number [protected] but till date he has not sent his service person for servicing. It is also heartening to tell that since installation of the airconditioner, the owner of the shop has not enquired about the performance of the aircondioner. Sir, I am proud owner of several LG products such as one microwave, one 285 CC Refrigerator, one washing machine, one window AC which were purchased from other dealers in Dhanbad and Singrauli. They had provided excellent after sales service. The performance of the products were also very good. Seeing the above performance of your products and after sales service and good customer care of the previous dealers, I had purchased the split AC from the dealer, M/S Yadav Refrigeration, otherwise I would go for other airconditioner company. As such, you are requested to kindly take suitable action for servicing of my airconditoner. I also request you to take stringent action against M/S Yadav Refrigeration and delist the dealer from dealership for their poor customer care and after sales service - K K Gangopadhyay, C-110, Sector - 4, Nigahi Colony, NCL, District - Singrauli, State- MP, Pin- 486884.

                I have purchased a 1.0 ton split A/C from LG model no. LSA3EW3V
                A/C is still in warranty and currently under AMC (annual maintenance contract) of LG as per their "happy living plan" which has designated the service centre as Comfort point located at Goregaon east.

                The A/C has been giving problems from the point of purchase to which service technicians have been taking the compressor for refilling refrigerant on a regular basis and no other fault finding done to find out the cause and promises of this time it will be OK.
                suffered a breakdown again on 24th march 2017 to which service engineer took the compressor yet again and after 1-2 days returned it saying that a component is damaged which is not manufactured anymore.now this A/C sits in my house where they have left it unconnected and open

                I then asked the service centre a solution since compressor is still in warranty and presently still under AMC to which i have been given mr. parag sharma /mr. jay chaurasias ph. no. whose solution is to buy a brand new a/c through a buy back scheme and will get only 30-35 % price reduced on the new A/C I purchase.

                I have been calling/messaging him on a daily basis since 28th march 2017 and recieve very little hope of a good solution.

                this compressor has been under contract with the service centre since the start and the problem is recurring from that time itself showing either service centre staff incompetence to notify me that a/c purchased was defective from the start itself or gross negligence from technicians dealing with AMC's

                I have called the LG customer care number [protected] countless number of times and they keep giving some bogus contact numbers which never connect or mr. parag sharma /mr. jay chaurasia from comfort point lg service centre as the contacts whose contacts are always busy/unavailable.

                Is this the benefit of buying products and taking their AMC's from LG??
                Request LG to take responsibility and replace the faulty unit or provide me with a new one and give me a persons contact number from LG who can help me with this problem

                  I had made a complaint to LG customer care regarding service & repair of my AC on 29 March (RNP[protected]But service engineer came only after 3 days that to after calling and requesting him 4-5 times.Service was not complete where he just washed outdoor unit with half bucket water.For this he took 600rs.He also demanded 700 rs for repair from senior engineer.He was even very arrogant and told us that company works like this.After this service centre not taking my calls.Again i made complaint to LG care explaining them everything on 3 April RNP[protected].But still no response from LG service centre.

                    We bought an LG AC from Pravin Electronics, Near Mundhwa Bridge, Pune on March 19th. They sent people to install the AC on 20th. The 4 individuals who came did not do any tests or cover the hole after they finished installing due to which water started leaking inside the room on the same day.
                    We called 10-15 times, literally pleading, after which, the same guys returned and fixed the leak issue. However, they had to reinstall the AC to fix the leak, and when they did so, they left a huge gap between the AC and the wall.
                    We have complained and called the customer service helpline and spoke to several individuals several times however they keep telling us they will come but they don't.
                    We spoke to a manager also on +91-[protected] and we whatsapped the pics of the gap to him, he said he will call us back after investigating and then has stopped answering our calls. Today we got the customer head's number from the help line, Sarika @ [protected] but she is not answering either.

                    It has been 2.5 weeks since we bought the AC. Can someone please take a look at this complaint and send someone over to fix this issue?

                      I purchased splt ac of lg from memorex home applaices pune

                      on 29th march2017. invoice no is15-16/7975dt[protected].Assurence was given that the same would

                      be installed by 31st march 2017.But not done so far. I made number of calls

                      to their customer care service and sms service but all were frutile. I am very much disappointed with this very very poor service of LG electronics and non caring attitude of the co.

                          I purchased an AC on 29 March and I was given an assurance that installation will be done within 3 days. It has been a week and no one is coming to even look at it.
                          I have complained on customer care, written emails, called the seller and all I could do but my AC is stilled occupied space on floor and I am still suffering the heat and irresponsible behavior.

                            I had purchased the television of lg and last year on 21/05/2016 my tv stopped working. I approached customer care and they arranged for the mechanic to repair. He visited my house and said that the issue is with the mother board you need to change it. I said ok. We got the mother board replaced and i was assured the guarantee of 6 months. It is just 8 months and again the board is not working. They have arranged for the mechanic and he said the sir mother board is faulty and it needs to be replaced. I dont understand that how is it possible that the product that has been installed newly gets damaged immediately after the warrant voids.

                              Front load 5.5 kg fully automatic washing machine purchased from khosla electronics from nager bazar in 2011, complaint lodge on 25/03/17, compliant number rnp[protected]. Service engineer verbally said estimate budget would be below rs 7000 & need pick up to workshop. They have picked up it from home & after 3 days, they informed estimated budget would be rs 10000. I requested to send the written estimated budget via e-mail, but still now no such e-mail received from the service center. It is very unfortunate that such a company like l g eletronics doing such type work. I also requested to return the same immediately but still no such action taken from their end.

                                Sir i have purchased lg split ac in rs 50500/- from vip marketing, 3&4 mci plaza, civil lines bareilly-243001 on 03/04/2017
                                Tin no-[protected] wef 01/03/2005. Cash memo has been given to me. During payment i gave him my debit card for swipe but was denied to accept and told me for cash or cheque. At that time i have 5000/-rs gave him cash and cheque 45500/- rs.
                                My cheque was dishonoured and deducted 575 rs from my account. I had to suffer rs 575 because of dealer if total amount is taken from swipe machine, i have not to pay penalty
                                Now i want to pay remaining amount beside penalty
                                Please tell me what should i do now.

                                  I bought an LG window AC and was told it will get installed within 2 days from delivery. Its going to be 2 days shortly I have not been contacted by anyone from LG. I have been trying to get in touch with LG customer care (online email and phone) but getting no response. Finally when I was able to make contact I was given numbers of their service centers and was left upto me to arrange getting the installation done. I have been calling the service centers and half the numbers do not work, others are cutting my phone and 1 number where someone picked up the person was rude and cut the phone before I could finish my sentence!! This is the worst customer service even according to Indian standards. The sales man in Croma told me LG has the best customer service! I am so regretting listening to him!!

                                      I purchased a dual compressor 1.5T split AC, model whissen, 10years ago. During the warranty period itself one board became faulty and your Cochin office head intervened and fixed the problem with a condition that I have to take full amc package from your service partner "climate control " at trivandrum. I did it and continued. But 3 years ago they refused to renew my amc and rendered only service on spot payment. Now my AC is faulty and called the same service provider and the informed me the stopped the business. I contacted your TOLLFREE call Center and afterwards your another service provider " dakshin" at trivandrum attended. They took away the electronic board from outdoor unit. Now they informed the company is not supplying spares for repairing the board. Hence they are not able to make my AC in working condition.
                                      Please provide suitable parts to repair the board and direct them to make my ac working.
                                      I registered a complaint with your call centre on 1 April 20117 (mob[protected]) .

                                      My product doesn't proper work every year in winter. Service man fills gas every year. So I request you to resolve my problem permanent otherwise I will go to consumer court.

                                        Lg india pathetic services and pathetic service managers – listen in…
                                        Part – 2
                                        My earlier grievous story has stored in part-1 which comes later part of my narration.
                                        It all started on 31st march 2017, the support #s that i dialed in [protected] and [protected], their connections are so fluid that they are very hard to be connected. After a long struggle, i could make a connection establish thru them and a service case id was generated – rnp[protected], the date was 01/april/2017… because of the size of my family this refrigerator (Side-by-side) plays a significant role in our lives, it pays a role of a ‘life’ (A member) in my family… it’s dead for more than 48 hours now and i’m not seeing any customer courtesy in any of the eyes of lg support personnel, the only sweetness i get it from the 1800 support #s, but service managers, service personnel’s on the ground and custodians of customer support doesn’t seems to have any emotions towards customer’s pain what he/she is going through and his/her kids who are home (Summer vacations) are deprived of ice-creams, water, vegetables, curd, milk etc. This ruthless summer…
                                        The more embarrassing moment for me that i’m requesting space in my neighbor’s refrigerator to store my essentials, like medicines, cooked food and even ice-packs used for my physiotherapy treatments.
                                        Buying a product is matter of pride for anyone and at the same time he/she gets lashed at the after-support services, it’s deplorable! I have started to generate a negative feel about lg and it’s services. I will keep my efforts on until it is spread across the communities, sectors, districts, capitals, states and finally at a national level.
                                        The more i think on service industries, in my honest opinion, it should start eliminating the accountable/responsible people who in truth handles the customer satisfaction engine, it runs with their passion, their willingness to serve, their ability to move things, their acceptance on exceptional cases and the list goes on… here are few so called managers from lg support world and their behavior…
                                        The first one i called was cs babu - area service manager ([protected]), i call him pathetic babu, who i thought would recognize my problem, he did not give a damn, however he asked me to sms my rnp #. Which had no effect, because my refrigerator is still dead. I followed up with a feel that he is my savior, and i followed up with calling him at least a dozen of times, smsing him, but all in vain. I have also stated there is a rogue company out there and they are fooling people on lg’s brand. He gives another damn, and his comment was astonishing - “lg cannot do anything about them, it is consumer who have to take action against them”… are we living in the world that we have such annoyingly non - service oriented people for my ‘home-brand lg’, it was real pain in my heart.
                                        I was given another hope by support people over the phone, after i had a fatal failure with pathetic babu - her name was shwetha – branch office service manager ([protected]) who in my view should not be into any service industry, till date i have made around 28 calls and 4 smses but no responses, i have gone back to the lg support phone asking them, if this lady is still active in the lg ‘or’ left the organization, i was made aware that she is still into the lg system and very much active. So this lead me to urge lg support authorities (Super leaders), please consider this lady to be removed from her services immediately.
                                        I was then shown another way, that made me think, i would be lucky this time - i was given rajkumar tk’s - area service manager ([protected]) contact, support team on phone ensured me that i would get help this time… i called him about 6 times this morning, but this guy doesn’t pick up the phone. I hope this guy wakes up when my note makes circles around the internet.
                                        I’m not over yet, then i find mohammed - service engg. ([protected]) who has done his job by visiting my place on 2/april/2017 and diagnosing the problem, which will serve no purpose, i would oblige if some act from lg support make my lg side-by-side work and my family is up and running again. So no gain there either.
                                        His supervisor balasundaram. R – ([protected]) was the only person i have interacted who heard me over the phone and picked up my phone (I felt truly lucky and i thought god listening and talking to me), who again did not give any commitment which was frustrating, but at least he mentioned the process of part procurement which was fair. And he committed to call me back with more updates. Waiting. On him.
                                        It is not always about the service restoration, it is about listening to customers, able to make a right judgement on customer for who the product is his/family’s life. And any delay would cause him big time grief.
                                        Giving a damn to customer’s emotion, calls, messages is flagitious crime by nature to any service industry. I strongly recommend to either demote or fire people who are sitting on a ‘client - sat ‘ throne and sleeping. I urge… replace them with people like supervisor balasundaram. R – ([protected]).
                                        As a consumer i would give my heart and soul to my home-brand, but people who lg gives them a livelihood, salary, great perks, facilities - is it not their responsibility to be loyal to the brand that is feeding them and their families.
                                        I just dropped my last penny on loyalty for lg brand. I would look forward for a brand which is not lg. I would sign off with lg after my refrigerator is back on.
