My LG G4 mobile is started boot loop issue. When I contact Bangalore service center, I was told, its a known LG manufacturing issue and my mobile mother board will be replaced, I need to pay for that and the cost which comes around 10k.

Since Its LG's fault and known Hardware issue, Why I need to pay from my pocket? Why cant LG address this issue?

I live in Bangalore- Electronic City.

    I purchased a refrigerator LG Ff 4201 GI-i472qnsl Noble Steel (Serial No JQAZ609PRCMO81859IN), 420 ltr 30/11/2016 which was installed on 01/12/2016 by LG. Stopped cooling on 07 Feb 2017. The defect was reported to LG Complaints on 07/02/[protected]. LG representative came on 08/02/2017 & could not rectify. Another representative came on 11 Feb 2017 and found that the gas pipe was rusted and leaking, which implies that the delivery of new refrigerator was carried out with out any check with regards to its parts as the same stopped functioning within two months of its purchase. It was really sad to see the representative cut open the metal pipe and carried out required welding to make it functional. I am the proud owner of LG Smart LED 53", Microwave 30 ltrs and AC. However, my faith has been shaken after this incident. Being a serving army officer, i will not hesitate to inform the environment about the sad event. Repairs within two months of purchase also indicates that some other parts which are not visible may also be rotten and will come to light in near future. Since it is under warranty, I strongly deserve replacement of the fridge. It was not a pleasant experience to see the LG Representative carrying out repairs on the new fridge.

    Further to the above complaint, it is found that there is also leakage of water from rear right side of the fridge. The water is spread on the floor for the past two days. No LG representative has reported after 11 Feb 2017. Since the fridge had gone off road within a period of two months of its purchase due to rusted pipe which resulted in leakage of gas and repairs in the form of cutting and soldering of the rusted pipe was carried out to make it functional on adhoc basis, it is requested that the faulty refrigerator be replaced being in warranty period.

    It is OK to understand that such faults occur after five to six years of purchase and not within two months, which implies that the such piece was defective and old. No inspection was carried out prior to delivery. The cut piece of the rusted pipe is kept with me as an evidence.

    This case may please be taken up with highest level /authority of LG to replace the fridge. Being a serving army officer, it seems that the hard earned money has gone waste.

    Now there is also leakage & spillage of water from fridge’s rear side on floor & freezing of ice on suction pipe. On complaint with LG (RNP[protected] &[protected], LG rep reported on 11 & 15 Feb 17 & took photos of repaired pipe and suction pipe and spillage of water. Since the fridge has gone off road within a 2 months of purchase due to rusted pipe and repaired on adhoc basis, request defective fridge be replaced. LG rep informed on 16 Feb that replacement not approved and only repairs will be done. Since the defects occurred within two months implies that more defects will escalate in the yrs to come, it is the moral duty of the renowned company like LG to replace the defective product which is just 2 months old and not adhere to repairs. Hence, the case for replacement of the fridge be considered at the earliest.

    Further to Complaint No RNP RNP[protected],[protected] &[protected] dated 02 Mar 2017, Fresh photo with date and time is forwarded herewith. It is also informed that freezer is not (NOT) providing optimum cooling. Ice cream kept inside is still soggy. There are serious issues with the freezer. Please send representative to verify and check. Besides in view of the faulty and defective piece request replace the same as repairs carried out four times has not (NOT) yielded any result.

      I bought my LG RO on Dec 12, 2015.d company promised to give three free services, but dey gave only 2 services out of three.on complaining against this d senior supervisor of LG Mr.Sagar Gupta very arrogantly answered that it was consumers ie my negligence .why I didn't lock service with LG.as a result my third pre filter candle was not changed.i am very much depressed with why I bought LG.

        I had purchased LG LCD 32" in Nallasopara 2011 Now am facing a problem with the display of the TV and I had complained to the LG customer care. They did send a technician who examined the TV and said there was a problem with the motherboard and it needs to be replaced. I have told them to do so to which the company customer care did assure that the part is available and they will order it and charge me accordingly to which I had agreed Now they have come back to me saying that it is not available.

        Company need to take care of their reputation and customers concern

          I am T.R.Seshadri from Chennai and I have bought several LG products in the last 2 years. Now I regret having bought them due to very poor and negligent service.
          One of the A/Cs which is a 1.5 ton split unit bought (on 1st April 2015 Bill no.FS/RAP/3843 from Girias Investments Pvt Ltd Venkatakrishna road R.A..Puram Chennai), has very low cooling. It has been used sparingly. When I contacted customer care on 06/02/2017, they said the technician will attend to it within 24 hours.When nobody called me I again lodged my complaint.Then the technician from Charm Engineers Mandaveli Chennai 28, came on 08/02/ 2017 and said that the coil has gone and has got to be replaced. The cost will be up to Rs.7000 and since now an offer is going on it will cost approx Rs.5000/-.
          When I told him that the A/C is less than 2 years old, he says that the life of the coil is only 1 year and it has got to be changed after that.
          I was shocked to hear that and when I said, that the dealer did not mention anything about it, he said, that they will not mention that while selling.
          He also charged me Rs.288/- for his visiting charges.
          I approached the dealer on the same day evening and mentioned about what the technician had said.
          The dealer said he will lodge a complaint from his side and ask them to attend the unit. Nobody came and again I had to go to the dealer the next day 09/02/2017 to remind.
          Today, 10/02/2017, instead of anyone attending the fault, the same technician called over phone and said he has nothing to see and only the coil has to be changed and sent me a quotation for Rs.4751/- .
          Being very upset, I several times spoke to the service centre and they repeatedly said the same thing without any solution. When demanded for higher officials number, they first gave one Mr. Prabhakaran's number (Service head Chennai) which is [protected]. I tried his number several times but no response. Then again called them to get another number for which they gave one Mr.V.Subramaniam ( All India Service Head) which is [protected]. I tried this number also several times but no response.
          It is now clear that LG is totally not bothered about their customer service.
          I expect a reply and prompt action from your end
          If I am not getting it attended within next 2 days, I will have to proceed to consumer court for compensation and refund of my full money of Rs.39014/- which was charged by the dealer at the time of purchase.

              Dear sir I have purchased lg refrigerator model no gc c247uguv from reliance digital Phoenix kurla branch on 10 oct 2016.In just two month the refrigerator is not cooling and freezer section has completely stop.I made a complaint to lg and their techinician visited and said it has a gas issue we need to refill it I said okay go ahead with it and next day he came refill it and he said after 8 hours it will start to function properly I trusted the technician as he belong to lg electronics but to my bad it didn't start to cool then I had to complaint for that issue to lg customer care and again they send technician and he said we need to refill i Said stop the non sense my product is under warranty I want an replacement for the refrigerator as it just two months old and I can't allow further alteration then receive a call from lg department they said we cannot replace your refrigerator please contact your dealer for replacement and then contacted reliance digital and they told your product it's in lg warranty they will take care of it we have no rights to indulge in it.                 Hello sir, I am Chandru user of LG nexus 5X which was bought on online Amazon.in. On normal usage my mobile got boot loop on 07.02.2016 suddenly then I contacted local LG service center, they told me that it's a motherboard issue and when I claimed for warranty, I came to know that it got expired on just 9th of January. Surprised to know when they asked me to pay Rs. 13, 000 in Service center at Vadapalani, Chennai. I am on Loyal customer to LG since all my goods are LG products hereby I request you to claim my service under warranty.

                I got call back from customer care now however am not satisfied with their response so Kindly look into my complaint registered about my device motherboard and arrange replacement without any cost. Because many of the users experiencing the same issue. This shows the gratitude of problem in your side actually I don't complaint here as It was working fine for a year I just need to claim replacement under warranty since many users are benefited after expired date of warranty. I hope for best from your side. Thanks in advance.

                  The display glass has been broken while transporting.
                  Model number is 43LH510V-ZA
                  Also in the website of lg this model number is not found.
                  The displays appear as pure white without any other colours.
                  When the tv is switched on, lights are appeared but the display contains full of scratches due to the broken display.
                  The remote us working.
                  I heard no sounds but I think thats because of connection error.

                    We, the Complainant, 'Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur', are a Public Charitable Trust having educational activities in Palanpur, Gujarat, for the last 60 years and more. The Trust has its office at 11, Kala Bhavan, 3rd Floor, 3, Mathew Road, Opera House, Mumbai - 400 004.

                    The Respondent Supplier, M/s. LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd., having their Regional Office at 4th Floor, A Wing, Trade Star, Andheri Kurla Road, J B Nagar, Andheri (E), Mumbai - 400 069.

                    We purchased the LG make Split AC Model LSA-3 KR 2A from M/s. United Agencies (Bombay) Pvt. Ltd., Parekh House, 14, Mama Paramanand Marg, Opera House, Mumbai - 400 004 on December 7, 2011 vide Invoice No.15238 dated December 7, 2011 at a cost of Rs.20, 000/- inclusive of taxes. The Warranty period being five (5) years from the date of purchase, i.e. being in force up to December 6, 2016.

                    The AC stopped giving cooling effect in October 2016 and we called our AC Maintenance Contractor, M/s. Ansari Md.Arshad Md.Anwar, who checked the unit and advised that the gas has leaked and new gas needs to be filled which he did on October 14, 2016, at a cost of Rs.2, 500/- (Attachment #1).

                    However, the AC lost delivering the cooling effect once again in November 2016. We called another AC Maintenance Contractor, M/s. Baba Refrigeration, to ensure that our regular Contractor has given the correct observation. M/s. Baba Refrigeration advised that the Condenser Coil (original Aluminium material make) needs to be changed as the gas had leaked out. They, also, reported that the condenser coil has to be manufactured in copper material as aluminium coil is not locally available and is supplied by only the manufacturer.

                    Accordingly, the copper make condenser coil was installed and the gas was filled on November 24, 2016, vide their Bill No.13 dated November 24, 2016 for Rs.5, 500/- (Condenser Coil Rs.4, 000/- + Gas Filling Rs.1, 500/-).
                    (Attachment #2)

                    The AC again stopped giving the cooling effect and we called M/s Baba Refrigeration who inspected the unit again on December 6, 2016, and reported that the Compressor has failed thus not developing enough pressure to circulate the gas in the condenser coil. A copy of the report is attached. (Attachment #3)

                    December 6, 2016 –Since the A/c Unit was under warranty, we wrote a letter to M/s. United Agencies (Bombay) Pvt. Ltd., the authorized dealers of LG Product, located at Parekh House, 14 M P Marg, Opera House, Mumbai 400004 who supplied the AC Split Unit on 07.12.2011 vide its Invoice No.15238 dated 07.12.2011, lodging complaint that the A/C Unit does not work and according to our maintenance contractor the compressor has failed and needs replacement. Hence, please take immediate action and replace the compressor. The copies of Proforma Invoice and the Tax Invoice were enclosed therewith for their ready reference. The company immediately lodged complaint with LG and obtained complaint number as RNP:[protected] dated 06.12.2016. (Attachment #4).

                    December 08, 2016 – The technicians from LG Service Centre inspected the Unit, charging visit fee of Rs.575/-even though we informed them that the machine is in warranty, and reported that Gas is leaking and would cost Rs.9, 800/- vide their Invoice No.1667 TCR No.Q17342/01667 dated December 8, 2016. (Attachment #5).

                    December 09, 2016 – We called our Maintenance Contractors M/s. Baba Refrigeration to inspect the machine again who reported that the Compressor is failed and it is not pumping with enough pressure to circulate the gas in the condenser. Their report is attached. (Attachment #6).

                    December 09, 2016 – We wrote a letter to United Agencies (Bombay) Pvt. Ltd., the supplier, requesting them to intervene in the matter and ensure that LG restores the machine to working order at the earliest at no cost to us as the same was under warranty at the time of registering complaint. The suppliers did not accept the letter stating that they are no way in the picture now and that we should deal directly with LG Company. (Attachment #7).

                    December 12, 2016 – We sent an email to LG Service Centre (email Id: [protected]@lge.com) giving them detailed briefing about the problem faced by us. (Attachment #8).

                    December 13, 2016 – We received the standard reply through email acknowledging our above complaint letter sent by us via email. (Attachment #9).

                    December 16, 2016 – We sent an email to LG Service India informing them that no one has attended the complaint so far. (Attachment #10).

                    December 16, 2016 – We received an email from Service India stating that they have instructed their Area Service Manager, Mr. Vaibhav Vartak, to take immediate step(s) in this regards and also asked asked us to contact him for further assistance. (Attachment #11).

                    December 20, 2016 – Since Mr. Vaibhav Vartak, Area Service Manager, was neither responding to our calls nor calling back and the complaint was not resolved, we wrote again to Service India by email asking them to resolve the matter at the earliest. Also, requesting them to give us the detailed breakup of Rs.9, 800/- for filling the gas and cost of other items. (Attachment #12).

                    December 22, 2016 – They gave us the breakup of Rs.9, 825/- which included various parts which, according to our technician, there is no need to change any parts in the AC Machine, except the Compressor. LG Service informed us that condenser coil of copper which we had replaced with the old aluminum coil will not work and that only aluminum coil manufactured only by LG will work. (Attachment #13).

                    December 22, 2016 -- We received an email from M/s. Synergie Services stating the leak from condenser coil occurred because it is a local coil and not original and hence the compressor has tripped or failed due to overheating. They have agreed that if there is a fault with compressor it will definitely be replaced free since it is under warranty. (Attachment #14).

                    December 23, 2016 -- We wrote to Service India via email stating that we have got the condenser Unit replaced with a new copper metal unit and filled the gas. The machine then was working. On December 03, 2016, it was observed that the AC Machine was not working as the cooling effect was not felt. Our technician opened that the compressor needs to be replaced. So the cost of Rs.9800/- as quoted by M/s. Synergie Services for other parts are not proper. One can imagine that Compressor Unit can be purchased in less than Rs.9, 800/-; hence we feel that the Synergie Services are trying to recover the cost of Compressor from us by quoting items which are not required. We requested them to take immediate steps to replace the compressor at no cost to us. (Attachment #15).

                    December 24, 2016 – We received a standard reply stating the case is in follow up with them and their concern person will contact us at the earliest. Attachment #16).

                    January 04, 2017 – We lodged the complaint against thru LG’s Website giving them the detailed information about the complaint and requested them to intervene in the matter and settle the issue. (Attachment #17).

                    January 04, 2017 – We emailed a complaint, Number (RNP[protected] dated 06.12.2016) and also Registered Contact Number[protected] as requested by Serviceindia in response to our complaint made thru LG’s Website (LGEIL Customer Email). (Attachment #18)

                    January 11, 2017 – We sent an email to Service India (LGEIL Customer) stating that we have already provided the details required about Complaint number; Registered No. and also the Address. (Attachment #19).

                    January 24, 2016 – We sent an email to Service India (LGEIL Customer) reminding them to replace the defective compressor which is pending for more than one and a half month, primarily because of inaction from their end. We had given them 15 days’ time to complete the job to our satisfaction and cautioned them that we will approach the Consumer Grievance Forum if they failed to carryout the rectification work as required. (Attachment #20).

                    Deficiency in service:

                    In spite of continuous follow-up, through email and over the telephone, LG has failed to provide satisfactory service. This amounts to deficiency in service. Even though the AC machine being under warranty (especially the Compressor Unit) the manufacturer has completely ignored the issue and failed to fulfill their obligation.

                    Rectification:

                    We want LG to immediately replace the defective compressor unit and restore the AC machine to full working order to our satisfaction at no cost to us.

                    Other Provisions:

                    The product being under warranty at the time of reporting the fault should have been set in to full working order at the earliest by LG.

                    Evidence:

                    Scanned copies of all the Attachments as mentioned above.

                    Jurisdiction:

                    District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Additional Mumbai District.

                    Limitation:

                    This complaint has been filed within the period prescribed under Section 24A of the Act.

                    Relief claimed:

                    1. Immediate replacement of the defective compressor and to ensure that the machine is restored to full working condition to our satisfaction.
                    2. Refund the amount of Rs.575/- paid to LG Service as visiting charges.
                    3. Mental stress and discomfort caused to our Staff by LG for neglecting to fulfill their commitment by disregarding the terms and conditions set out by them for products failing under warranty period. The compensation on this para may be as per the fine sense of judgement of the Forum.

                    Prayer Clause:

                    It is therefore, most respectfully, prayed that this Honourable Forum may kindly be pleased to order the Respondent Party (LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd.) to fulfill their commitment of warranty given at the time of purchase of their product by us.

                    To pay/refund Rs.575/- charged by LG Service as visiting fee.

                    To compensate, as decided by the Forum, for the mental agony/stress and discomfort caused to the Staff of our Trust at their Mumbai Office for over two months.

                      We bought a tv on LG, we had a great experience and had respect on LG products, so we planned to buy AC on LG. But we had a terrible experience. Installation is very poor and the person who came was horrible. Their behaviour is bad and they made my house dirty. They work like a garbage. And I called them again for the response, but they disconnected the call while I'm speaking. Worst and they disrespectful for the LG.

                        PART I …sent on 08 Jan 17
                        1. It is with extreme distress that I am writing to you regarding the unprofessional and ineffective repair work carried out by LG Authorised Service centre – Macross Tech Solutions, Goa – 21.
                        2. The complaint is regarding my 3 year old LG refrigerator model no GL-379PEX5. The said refrigerator was not making ice in the freezer compartment and the complaint for the same was immediately registered with your helpline and local LG service center on 10 Nov 2016. The technician who visited said that the pipe needed cleaning and asked me to arrange for the fridge to be sent to their workshop. Despite requesting tem to do the needful at my residence the request was refused. I hired a small truck and some men @ Rs 500 and sent the fridge with the technicians to the service centre.
                        3. The refrigerator was with them for 2weeks till 25Nov16. It was sent back to me by the centre on 25 Nov 2016 afternoon. I was charged for the following vide invoice no 7869 dated 25.11.2016
                        i. Drier – 5851J2001X = Rs. 325
                        ii. Gas Change = Rs. 750
                        iii. Pipe and Rod = Rs. 200
                        iv. Service charge = Rs. 550
                        Plus a payment of Rs 250 to tempo for ferrying the refrigerator
                        3. On running the refrigerator I found that the problem was not resolved the complaint for the same was again registered with customer care RNA[protected] . The visiting technicians said that the gas will have to be refilled and when I refused to pay any more for transportation they agreed to bring their cylinder and do the needful at my home. Why was this not done at the first time? I ended up spending money on transportation which was unnecessary. After doing the needful the technicians installed the refrigerator and left. While the ice began to form by it would melt each time there was a cut of resulting in spoilage of my food items stored in the refrigerator.
                        4. The complaint was again registered RNP[protected] on 03.12.2016. The authorized technician Mr. Siddesh then suggested replacement of PCB EBR74764801 the same was ordered and replaced on 28.12.2016. I was charged Rs 2468 invoice no 8996 dated 28.12.16. Despite the change in the part the fridge continued to have problems.
                        5. The complaint was again lodged with customer care RNP[protected] on 05.01.2017. The visiting senior technician Mr Damoder now suggested replacing the relay switch. By now I was convinced that your men were just doing hit and trial with my fridge but decided to go with his advice. On 07001.2017 at 330pm Mr Damoder replaced a couple of parts. I told him that I would make the payment only after testing the fridge. By night time I found whatever little freezing was happening had also stopped and for the second time all the food material in the refrigerator had to be discarded at a considerable financial loss to me.
                        6. I called the 24 customer care number at 5 am in the morning as I was worried but was told that the complaint had not been closed by the Service Center and they could not reregister my complaint. After 0800h I tried calling both the centre manager Mr. Santosh and Mr Damoder but the formers phone was switched off and the latter did not pick up his call. I had to call the customer care again and spoke to Mr Vipul at 0820h requesting to reregister the complaint. He expressed his inability to do so . I then requested him to get a senior executive on line. He said he would arrange a call back between 0900h to 1000h. It is now 1130h and I have not yet received a call. I also got through Mr Damoder at 0900h and apprised him of the problem. He said he would talk to his manager and get back to me. Two and a half hours have gone and no response yet.
                        7. Now I am at my wits end and upset that a 3 year old refrigerator of a reputed company LG is causing so much trouble and your service centre is not able to resolve the same even after 2 months. I need the company to look into the matter with utmost urgency and get the problem solved ASAP without any more financial drain to me the customer.

                        8. After receiving no call back as promosed and no response from the manager as well as technician I again called the customer care on 07 Jan 2017 at about 1900h and insisted on getting the contact numbers of LG Area in charge Goa. I called Mr Arun Chenangi the same evening he said he is travelling and will get back to me on Mon, 09 Jan 2017 by 9 am. I waited for a call from Lg representative but finally had to call up Mr Arun at about 0930h. He assured me that he would look into the case and get back to me. After waiting for about 3 hours with no communication as usual from the LG side I again called up Mr Arun who told me that he has discussed the case and someone would be reaching my place by 1230h the same day. In todays age of rapid communication I fail to understand why can’t some communication take place from LG side!
                        9. To my further distress the same technician Mr Damoder was sent along with one more personnel. They again went about taking out different parts of my refrigerator discussing the case on phone and doing the usual hit and trial. After watching them closely for about 5 hours I knew with conviction and extreme distress that they have reduced my refrigerator to a comatose piece of equipment. They then said they wanted to take it to the work shop. I insisted that they provide me with and alternate refrigerator. At about 6pm I was given a much smaller refrigerator to tide by while my refrigerator was carried away to the workshop.
                        10 During the entire period I kept insisting that a written summary should be provided to me regarding what all was being done to my refrigerator but again this was not done by the manager. Four days later I got a call from Ms Juliet that my fridge is beyond repair as the part that needs to be replaced is no longer being manufactured by LG. She said a compensation of about ERs 12000 can be provided to me in lieu of the fridge. Now this is extremely shocking that a 3 year old fridge from a reputed company like LG which would today cost me about Rs. 50000 can be reduced to a piece of junk by their authorized technician and service center for a minor cooling problem and I am being offered a pittance. I told Ms Juliet that I should be given a replacement for my refrigerator as it was spoiled not by the customer but by authorized service centre. After that there has been no communication from her or any other LG representatives from Goa for last 11 days.
                        11. On 17.01.2017 I revieved a call from Ms Neelam who said she was a representative of LG Pan India Escalation . I gave her a complete brief about the problem . she said she would call back which she did and told me that now the spare part is being procured from Korea and would be with the centre by 20 Jan and my fridge would be repaired by 23 Jan 17. I told her that I would also like a written communication regarding the exact problem and parts being replaced. Today is 23 Jan 2016 the day my fridge was to be repaired. I still haven’t received any communication from LG.
                        12. I think I am entitled to be kept in the loop regarding what is going on with my refrigerator. Is it too much to ask that a message or whatsapp message or emai lor phone call be made by LG. Also I am quite inconvenienced by all this and would like the issue to be resolved soon. 9 Nov 2016 to 23 Jan 2017 is a very long period for a customer to be kept waiting !!!
                        PART III …….Sent on 03 Feb 2017
                        13. It is today the 3rd of February 2017 and I have not received any intimation regarding the status of my refrigerator barring a call from customer care asking me about the status. I told the LG Customer care executive that if I knew the status I would not be writing the mails.
                        14. I have sent mails regarding the same to [protected]@lge.com on 23rd Jan 17, 25th Jan 17 and two mail on 30 Jan 17 and the response has been only a computer generated identical mail each time which I quote:
                        “Dear Customer,
                        We acknowledge your concern and we have forwarded it to our branch office.
                        For any further assistance please call us on[protected] / or write to us at www.lg.com/in
                        Earnestly soliciting your patronage and assuring you of our valuable services at all times.

                        15. Im really at my wits end as there is no other communication from your end. Don’t you think the customer has a right to be kept in loop regarding her product which she purchased with full faith in your company.
                        Hoping for a more effective communication and early resolution of the problem as nearly three months has lapsed.

                          I placed an order for lg split ac from snap deal. We then contacted lg customer care for installation. Following the installation, the gas leaked and ac stopped working. Lg now claims that installation was done by unauthorized technician and is refusing to resolve the issue. Either lg customer care is selling new customer data to unauthorized service center or lg has pathetic after sales service.

                            I am a loyal customer of LG products for the past 10 years. I purchased multiple products i.e. TV, Refrigerator and AC’s during this period. I am writing this note to express my frustrations and disappointment with a recent experience I had with your service team. 4 years back on 12/Oct/2012, I bought a LED 42 inch TV [Model – 42LS5700, SNO - 207PLTV105961]. I made this purchase at Chennai Trade Center, Chennai. [Not able to trace the invoice at present].

                            During early December, 2016 I started getting problem with my TV set. I was losing the TV picture after 30 to 60 minutes. The sound is alright but the screen is pitch black. I raised a service request [RNP[protected]] on 6/Dec/2016. Your Service engineer came saw the TV and said everything is fine and closed the SR. I again raised another SR [RNP[protected]] on 9/Dec/2016. Service engineer came again informed LED bulb is the problem and left. I informed I am willing to pay for the repair. From then onwards I made multiple calls and SMS to the Team Lead (XXX ******1228] and Regional Area Service Manager [XXXX ****** 061] to get the help. Finally on 7/Jan/2017, I was informed by XXXX that the part is not available for this model and can’t be repaired. I was advised to send this email for any further help.

                            I am greatly disappointed with the experience I had this time and want to bring these 2 concerns to your notice and seek your help to make my “Life Good” again. Please contact me at the address provided below or on my mobile [protected].

                            1. Your service team is saying TV can’t be repaired as the spare parts are not available. I am really surprised to hear this. Want to know what shall I do with my 4 years old TV.

                            2. I had to make multiple follow up calls to your team to get the attention. It took nearly 30 days to provide a solution. I personally am frustrated by the bad response of your service team including your managerial staff. Leave it to your judgment to take corrective action.

                            After followup for 2 months I got a quotation from LG for my TV. For LED bulb issue they provide a quote to replace the whole panel for Rs 28, 000 (almost the cost of a new TV). Here is the email I wrote back asking for clarification. Till now no one responded back.

                            Thanks for responding at least after so much of follow-up with you. First of all my complaint is not raised on 7/2/2017. My first service request [RNP[protected]] was raised on 6/Dec/2016 and again another one SR [RNP[protected]] raised on 9/Dec/2016.

                            Can you please help me understand this cost better? You provided a quote for Rs 28, 000 for repairing a TV which I brought 4 years back for Rs 40, 000 (Approximate cost. Don't remember the actual cost). The problem that I am facing is that the TV picture is lost after 30 to 60 minutes. However the sound is alright but the screen is pitch black.

                            Do we need to replace the entire panel for such high cost or is there a way to repair this for lesser cost? I want your technical expertise to provide a cheaper alternative. I see no reason to repair my old TV for Rs 28, 000 when I have the option of buying new one with a slightly higher amount.

                            Please clarify and provide an alternate solution.

                            Still no response to my email. In spite of continuous follow-up, through email and over the telephone, LG has failed to provide satisfactory service. Initially they declined to repair it even though under warranty and after 2 months sent a quote for Rs 28, 000 for replacing a faulty LED bulb. This is causing quite a stress and discomfort. Hence stopping here and going to buy a new TV. LG lost a customer for life.
                            DONT BELIEVE LG... IT IS CHEAPER USE AND THROW PRODUCT. We too are facing in 3 Months old LED TV. Panel got failed within 3 months from the date of purchase. LG is speaking terms and conditions instead of providing replacement.

                              I purchased a LG 285LTR REF Refrigerator on 27/10/2014
                              I am terribly disappointed with the performance of this 2 year old machine.
                              I called their authorized service engineers and after couple of visits by service engineers I was informed that nothing can be done to rectify the problem in my refrigerator as company has no spare parts for the machine.
                              A two year old refrigerator which a customers like me purchases assuming LG is a reputed brand realize that he is being cheated by LG with a misleading warranty sticker on the machine of 10 years warranty only for the compressor, where as for all the other parts used in the machine LG (of questionable quality) LG seems to have no back up of spares and once the refrigerator stops working and further LG avoids giving any firm solution to rectify the stopped refrigerator via email.
                              To make a mockery of cheated customer who was fooled in to trusting LG brand - LG resorts to offering vague solutions orally by which customer can be swindled out of more money.
                              LG person informs that whatever they say on phone cannot be put on email as per LG policy so that their vauge suggestions do not get documented and the customer is mislead like their message on refrigerator of warranty.

                                Bought LG Nexus 5X 32GB Variant for Rs.30, 000 via Flipkart on Dec 2015 with 12 Months Warranty Now Reached 13th month. While I using it switched Off automatically and not started till the Date.No Battery and none of issue from My Side and it has been accepted by the Customer Service People too.
                                But they are asking Rs.13, 000 to replace the board. How it could be ?.
                                At-least they could claim through warranty since because it exceeded for 1 Month only.
                                For Past 15 years my Family members are using LG Products because of its Reliability and that is why i chose Nexus 5X instead of Moto Mobile Phones at reduced rates.

                                So I need service to be happened quickly without any charges.

                                  My nexus 5x is not working. It has happened after latest android update & not any other issue as confirmed by your LG service at Bangalore whose email id is bandsc3.[protected]@lgepartner.com. ph: [protected]
                                  This LG Service center are telling me that they have not got any communication LG office or Google for any kind of customer support.
                                  They are harassing me when I just ask to provide a complaint number
                                  The service person as told me to change the motherboard for around ten thousand rupee.
                                  My date of purchase of Nxus 5x is January 15 2016. It is just over one year and hence I am deprived of free service.
                                  Since this is a known issue and is a manufacturing defect as confirmed by your service, I request you to kindly help me by providing necessary service free of cost.

                                  Yeah. The Same problem only happened to me. They are asking me Rs.13, 000 to repair. How LG is doing such activities ? Updating Android will cause Motherboard Failure means where is the Quality lies in LG. They didn't resolved this issue and they started to Manufacture Smartwatches. I don't know How many fellows are going to hurt by the Watches. Atleast we recommend them not to buy LG Products which fails exactly after 12 months of warranty.

                                    I originally purchased the HBS 760 headset the end of 2015. I was having issues hearing out of the left ear so I sent it in for repair in May 2016. I received a replacement May 18, 2016 and Ironically I am having the same issues as I did when I sent in for a replacement (the left ear does not work). When I sent in the replacement, I was told that the warranty started over. Today, January 30, 2017; I am being told that the replacement only has a 90 day warranty. I think this is so inconsiderate. These headsets are not cheap but when they become defective, it's as if the company does not care about the issues the customers have. I know nothing last forever but at least stand behind your product. Every couple years, these headsets become discontinued and it's because you'll have received the same issues over and over again but fail to stand behind your product. This is such a same, yet your slogan is LG (Life's Good). Life must be good when people are being ripped off and nobody care's about the people that purchase your product so that your life can be good.

                                      Without Prejudice.

                                      In Continuation of my Complaint No RNA[protected] Dt 11.8.16.and Subsequent Complaint No RMP[protected] Dt 16.1.17 .The Service Center Comments are as under. Wherein The Model was discontinued due to Poor Performance.

                                      The Door Spares are not available with LG. Or the Door of the refrigerator.
                                       LG Has offered to Get the Door Repaired from third Party, wherein the Door would be Split open for Repairs and Aesthetic looks of the Door will be compromised, also the Panels on top and Bottom cannot be refitted at a Staggering cost of Rs 4000. No Guarantee.
                                       The above offer is being refused by undersigned, as the Spares are not with LG, Third Part Repairs involves Splitting the door, and repairs will Overall Damage the aesthetic of the door.
                                       LG is offering 15 % Compensation on the Fridge, which was bought on buy back, the offer is on the Purchase cost, not acceptable.

                                      As LG has failed in providing Either Spares or Services and as the Refrigerator has undergone Various Complaints on Quality of the product and has been discontinued by LG, Spares not available, As a Consumer be compensated by LG by offering at Par Product on Appropriate Discount, as the Above Product was a non-Seller, and we feel cheated.

                                      The Service Center has offered a heavily Scratched Refrigerator as Compensation of the following Terms, as a Special Customer Incentive the Fridge NGL-U 47090 on 30 % Discount, Dealer Price Quoted @ Rs 47090, thus asking to pay Rs 32963. Thus in 4 Years to Own a Fridge I am to Shell Rs 96, 000. ( Offer by LG 32963 Plus Rs 37000 Current refrigerator, Rs 6500 Exchange Old)

                                      Gentleman the Above Fridge is Available on Flip cart @ Rs. 38000. As Brand New. Again trying to Cheat a Valued Customer.

                                      Appreciate that LG investigates the matter and offers a Replacement Product, as my Current Fridge will become unusable in coming days, and will be forced to seek including but not limiting by approaching the Consumer Redress Forum. Complaints with LG since 2014 and LG Ref Numbers can also be shared.

                                      LG Washing machine front load 8KG model

                                      PCB is down within span of 3yrs which is not good after buying it for 60k which is really a concern to pay now with 6k and could see everyone is complaining this after 3yrs, what is the action taken by LG so far to rectify this issue of PCB board working more than 3 years ????

                                        I purchase LG electronics make plasma tv ( Model No : 50PJ560R, Sr No : 104PPRT001230 ) from LG dealer - Sales corner, old padra road, Vadodara.
                                        I got faulty piece, because, from day 1st, i got many problems till now. As dealer didnt give me any invoice or bill ( after taking all the payment by loan ), i am not able to submit my tv at service center.
                                        Right now, i m not able to submit my tv at service station. Also, i make telephonic conservation with LG service team, as per them, no parts of above model is available with the, .
                                        I feel LG company and dealer cheat me and give me damage and faulty tv. I want to book complain against them. And want tough action against them. I also, make online compalint to LG website also, but, found no response.
