I have raised a complaint with LG and following up with their customer center and writing emails. But till now no one contacted me and provided any update on resolving my issue . Here is the text from the email that I wrote.

Respected Sir,

I am a loyal customer of LG products for the past 10 years. I purchased multiple products i.e. TV, Refrigerator and AC’s during this period. I am writing this note to express my frustrations and disappointment with a recent experience I had with your service team. 4 years back on 12/Oct/2012, I bought a LED 42 inch TV [Model – 42LS5700, SNO - 207PLTV105961]. I made this purchase at Chennai Trade Center, Chennai. [Not able to trace the invoice at present].

During early December, 2016 I started getting problem with my TV set. I was losing the TV picture after 30 to 60 minutes. The sound is alright but the screen is pitch black. I raised a service request [RNP[protected]] on 6/Dec/2016. Your Service engineer came saw the TV and said everything is fine and closed the SR. I again raised another SR [RNP[protected]] on 9/Dec/2016. Service engineer came again informed LED bulb is the problem and left. I informed I am willing to pay for the repair. From then onwards I made multiple calls and SMS to the Team Lead (XXX ******1228] and Regional Area Service Manager [XXXX ****** 061] to get the help. Finally on 7/Jan/2017, I was informed by XXXX that the part is not available for this model and can’t be repaired. I was advised to send this email for any further help.

I am greatly disappointed with the experience I had this time and want to bring these 2 concerns to your notice and seek your help to make my “Life Good” again. Please contact me at the address provided below or on my mobile [protected].

1. Your service team is saying TV can’t be repaired as the spare parts are not available. I am really surprised to hear this. Want to know what shall I do with my 4 years old TV.

2. I had to make multiple follow up calls to your team to get the attention. It took nearly 30 days to provide a solution. I personally am frustrated by the bad response of your service team including your managerial staff. Leave it to your judgment to take corrective action.

After followup for 2 months I got a quotation from LG for my TV. For LED bulb issue they provide a quote to replace the whole panel for Rs 28, 000 (almost the cost of a new TV). Here is the email I wrote back asking for clarification. Till now no one responded back.

Thanks for responding at least after so much of follow-up with you. First of all my complaint is not raised on 7/2/2017. My first service request [RNP[protected]] was raised on 6/Dec/2016 and again another one SR [RNP[protected]] raised on 9/Dec/2016.

Can you please help me understand this cost better? You provided a quote for Rs 28, 000 for repairing a TV which I brought 4 years back for Rs 40, 000 (Approximate cost. Don't remember the actual cost). The problem that I am facing is that the TV picture is lost after 30 to 60 minutes. However the sound is alright but the screen is pitch black.

Do we need to replace the entire panel for such high cost or is there a way to repair this for lesser cost? I want your technical expertise to provide a cheaper alternative. I see no reason to repair my old TV for Rs 28, 000 when I have the option of buying new one with a slightly higher amount.

Please clarify and provide an alternate solution.

Still no response to my email. In spite of continuous follow-up, through email and over the telephone, LG has failed to provide satisfactory service. Initially they declined to repair it even though under warranty and after 2 months sent a quote for Rs 28, 000 for replacing a faulty LED bulb. This is causing quite a stress and discomfort. Hence stopping here and going to buy a new TV. LG lost a customer for life.
DONT BELIEVE LG... IT IS CHEAPER USE AND THROW PRODUCT. We too are facing in 3 Months old LED TV. Panel got failed within 3 months from the date of purchase. LG is speaking terms and conditions instead of providing replacement.

    I purchased a LG 285LTR REF Refrigerator on 27/10/2014
    I am terribly disappointed with the performance of this 2 year old machine.
    I called their authorized service engineers and after couple of visits by service engineers I was informed that nothing can be done to rectify the problem in my refrigerator as company has no spare parts for the machine.
    A two year old refrigerator which a customers like me purchases assuming LG is a reputed brand realize that he is being cheated by LG with a misleading warranty sticker on the machine of 10 years warranty only for the compressor, where as for all the other parts used in the machine LG (of questionable quality) LG seems to have no back up of spares and once the refrigerator stops working and further LG avoids giving any firm solution to rectify the stopped refrigerator via email.
    To make a mockery of cheated customer who was fooled in to trusting LG brand - LG resorts to offering vague solutions orally by which customer can be swindled out of more money.
    LG person informs that whatever they say on phone cannot be put on email as per LG policy so that their vauge suggestions do not get documented and the customer is mislead like their message on refrigerator of warranty.

      Bought LG Nexus 5X 32GB Variant for Rs.30, 000 via Flipkart on Dec 2015 with 12 Months Warranty Now Reached 13th month. While I using it switched Off automatically and not started till the Date.No Battery and none of issue from My Side and it has been accepted by the Customer Service People too.
      But they are asking Rs.13, 000 to replace the board. How it could be ?.
      At-least they could claim through warranty since because it exceeded for 1 Month only.
      For Past 15 years my Family members are using LG Products because of its Reliability and that is why i chose Nexus 5X instead of Moto Mobile Phones at reduced rates.

      So I need service to be happened quickly without any charges.
      How I supposed to Pay Rs.13, 000 for doing nothing in my Mobile.

      For what you are asking the Contact details. You are very sure that you are going to Postpone and Hide this issue. But remember If you are not responding properly no fellow will trust LG and never make decisions to buy LG Products. If you forget your customer, the customer will through you rather than forget you.

      I purchased a LED on[protected] from the dealer M/s Mahindra Electronics, 76, Nangla Road, Faridabad, after sometime my LED was stopped working I made complaint but the LG engineers told me that this problem is not covered in the warranty. I got repaired it from out side paid Rs.2000 and engineers was demanding 4000, please help me.

      My LG LCD TV automatically restarts and sometimes it goes to mute and sometimes to full volume, it is beep sound and shutting down.I found this default after I got a new Airtel DTH connection.

        My nexus 5x is not working. It has happened after latest android update & not any other issue as confirmed by your LG service at Bangalore whose email id is bandsc3.[protected]@lgepartner.com. ph: [protected]
        This LG Service center are telling me that they have not got any communication LG office or Google for any kind of customer support.
        They are harassing me when I just ask to provide a complaint number
        The service person as told me to change the motherboard for around ten thousand rupee.
        My date of purchase of Nxus 5x is January 15 2016. It is just over one year and hence I am deprived of free service.
        Since this is a known issue and is a manufacturing defect as confirmed by your service, I request you to kindly help me by providing necessary service free of cost.
        I have bought this mobile from my hard earned money, 23 thousand is very amount to me, please consider my request and help me

        Yeah. The Same problem only happened to me. They are asking me Rs.13, 000 to repair. How LG is doing such activities ? Updating Android will cause Motherboard Failure means where is the Quality lies in LG. They didn't resolved this issue and they started to Manufacture Smartwatches. I don't know How many fellows are going to hurt by the Watches. Atleast we recommend them not to buy LG Products which fails exactly after 12 months of warranty.

          I originally purchased the HBS 760 headset the end of 2015. I was having issues hearing out of the left ear so I sent it in for repair in May 2016. I received a replacement May 18, 2016 and Ironically I am having the same issues as I did when I sent in for a replacement (the left ear does not work). When I sent in the replacement, I was told that the warranty started over. Today, January 30, 2017; I am being told that the replacement only has a 90 day warranty. I think this is so inconsiderate. These headsets are not cheap but when they become defective, it's as if the company does not care about the issues the customers have. I know nothing last forever but at least stand behind your product. Every couple years, these headsets become discontinued and it's because you'll have received the same issues over and over again but fail to stand behind your product. This is such a same, yet your slogan is LG (Life's Good). Life must be good when people are being ripped off and nobody care's about the people that purchase your product so that your life can be good.

            Without Prejudice.

            In Continuation of my Complaint No RNA[protected] Dt 11.8.16.and Subsequent Complaint No RMP[protected] Dt 16.1.17 .The Service Center Comments are as under. Wherein The Model was discontinued due to Poor Performance.

            The Door Spares are not available with LG. Or the Door of the refrigerator.
             LG Has offered to Get the Door Repaired from third Party, wherein the Door would be Split open for Repairs and Aesthetic looks of the Door will be compromised, also the Panels on top and Bottom cannot be refitted at a Staggering cost of Rs 4000. No Guarantee.
             The above offer is being refused by undersigned, as the Spares are not with LG, Third Part Repairs involves Splitting the door, and repairs will Overall Damage the aesthetic of the door.
             LG is offering 15 % Compensation on the Fridge, which was bought on buy back, the offer is on the Purchase cost, not acceptable.

            As LG has failed in providing Either Spares or Services and as the Refrigerator has undergone Various Complaints on Quality of the product and has been discontinued by LG, Spares not available, As a Consumer be compensated by LG by offering at Par Product on Appropriate Discount, as the Above Product was a non-Seller, and we feel cheated.

            The Service Center has offered a heavily Scratched Refrigerator as Compensation of the following Terms, as a Special Customer Incentive the Fridge NGL-U 47090 on 30 % Discount, Dealer Price Quoted @ Rs 47090, thus asking to pay Rs 32963. Thus in 4 Years to Own a Fridge I am to Shell Rs 96, 000. ( Offer by LG 32963 Plus Rs 37000 Current refrigerator, Rs 6500 Exchange Old)

            Gentleman the Above Fridge is Available on Flip cart @ Rs. 38000. As Brand New. Again trying to Cheat a Valued Customer.

            Appreciate that LG investigates the matter and offers a Replacement Product, as my Current Fridge will become unusable in coming days, and will be forced to seek including but not limiting by approaching the Consumer Redress Forum. Complaints with LG since 2014 and LG Ref Numbers can also be shared.

            LG Washing machine front load 8KG model

            PCB is down within span of 3yrs which is not good after buying it for 60k which is really a concern to pay now with 6k and could see everyone is complaining this after 3yrs, what is the action taken by LG so far to rectify this issue of PCB board working more than 3 years ????

              I purchase LG electronics make plasma tv ( Model No : 50PJ560R, Sr No : 104PPRT001230 ) from LG dealer - Sales corner, old padra road, Vadodara.
              I got faulty piece, because, from day 1st, i got many problems till now. As dealer didnt give me any invoice or bill ( after taking all the payment by loan ), i am not able to submit my tv at service center.
              Right now, i m not able to submit my tv at service station. Also, i make telephonic conservation with LG service team, as per them, no parts of above model is available with the, .
              I feel LG company and dealer cheat me and give me damage and faulty tv. I want to book complain against them. And want tough action against them. I also, make online compalint to LG website also, but, found no response.

                My mobile the(Nexus 5x) has gotten into a boot loop.This is one issue which is pretty common in the Nexuses as i had also refered it in the internet. When i went ahead and checked on the internet i heard that there are refunds being offered with ppl facing this issue, sadly this is only in the US .Now when i visit a service center (LG mobiles) i am being told that my motherboard has to be changed which would cost me around 10k(INR) (because my phone is not under warranty)but still the ppl in the store are not pretty sure if the phone would be facing the same issue after the replacement .Please help me out here, would be delighted if i get a permanant solution for this.Changing the motherboard would'nt be an issue if i get a permanant fix after that.Please help me out

                PS.The device is about a year and 3 months old as of now it has not been rooted as well

                  Hi,

                  My LG NEXUS phone given to repair to check power button issues ( power button is bit hard to press)

                  LG Service person said need to replace the power button, after replacing the power button of my LH Nexus 5 phone (Slno: 310KPXV1256107) dead, not powering ON,

                  LG Service person checked the phone and said, mother board is gone bad

                  Please tell me working NEUXS 5 phone only changing power button, how mother board will go bad just like that

                  I need my phone same working condition as before or replacement for my phone imminently

                  I already talk to few LG people through phone, they requested to send a mail, so i am posting the details, attached bill also

                      Hi Team,

                      This mail is regarding, Service call which I had logged on costumer care for servicing of my LG computer monitor(Display not coming).

                      On behalf of my complain Engineer visited at my residence & checked the monitor & confirmed that there is a problem with Monitor Display as the same is gone faulty.

                      He had done some basic checks & confirmed that we need to replace the display costing 6000 Rs. As I was not in agreement with his observation I insisted him to recheck the monitor. But he denied the same & told me to get the display replaced costing 6000. He charged me 287 Rs for his servicing charge. Then I told him that you need to refund the service charge if my problem will get shorted out without replacing the display & he agreed for the same.

                      As I was not satisfied with his response I visited to computer market in Hyderabad & shown my monitor to service engineer. Based on my input about monitor problem engineer told me that the problem is there with power adapter & suggested me to buy a new adapter. As per his confirmation I purchased the adapter & my monitor started working.

                      Regarding the same the next day I called engineer & highlighted the concern & requested him to refund the charges but he denied the same.

                      I want to escalate this matter to LG management with below points.

                      1. Engineer was not enough trained to check the basic problem with Monitor.
                      2. If I was agreed with his observation & got the display replaced then is was a 6000 Rs loss for me.
                      3. As engineer was agreed to refund the amount they why he is denying when he was not able to find the exact problem with monitor.

                      We trust much on company provided service centres rather than getting the problem resolved local engineer, But here the trust on service engineer is moved out.

                      Need your intervention on the same to get service charges refund.

                        I have purchased LG Refrigerator Model no:GL-U372JPZL/2016 from Croma Banashankari
                        Bangalore on 31st Oct 2016. They delivered on 2nd NOv 2016.After few days(like after 20 days) i was facing cooling issue so I called to customer care regarding this.Technician came and found the defect in Compressor and its very noisy too. From 20 days we are not getting proper response from the concerned people After investing huge amount on this why the hell i should suffer.. I have demanded for replacement of product through mail.I have sent mail to Deputy Manager Neeta linz, but there no response from him.I requested LG company to take back their product and claim full refund with penalty for harassment.If my issue is not resolved, if this is the case then I would be forced to take drastic action including compliant in consumer court.
                        Very irresponsible customer service & low quality product(Urgent attention needed)
                        A bad experience with LG...this is the company with poor service and customer preference..it is bad experience to have an LG product I have been complaining for last 20 days but people of LG are least bothered.On further inquiry they told me to contact area head Mr Thalvamani whose Phone No [protected]. He never pickup phone.I tried hundred times on different time.This is the situation. please replace it immediately or i am lodging complaint in consumer court.

[protected] से की थी। आपके मैकेनिक के आने के 5 mt पहले हमने उसमे चावल पापड़ गर्म किया था। आपका मैकेनिक जब आया तब वह गर्म था। आपके मैकेनिक ने जब ओवन check किया तब ये चल रहा था जिसकी पुष्टि मेरे फ़ोन में की गयी वौइस् रिकॉर्डिंग से कर सकते है। लेकिन आपके मैकेनिक द्वारा सर्विस कर लेने बाद से माइक्रोवेव ओवन on नहीं हो रहा है। आपके मैकेनिक से जब पूछा तो वो बोलता है कि ये पहले से ख़राब था। तो हमने अजमेर ऑफिस में बात की तो mr. मनमोहन (अजमेर ब्रांच हेड ) ने मैकेनिक से कॉल कॉन्फ्रेंसिंà�... से बात मेरी बात करवाई तो पहले हाँ करने के बाद वो बात घुमाने लग गया । फिर mr. manmohan ने काफी बहस बाज़ी होने के बाद पार्ट्स change नहीं होगा ये बोल कर फ़ोन काट दिया ।
                          आज 20.01.2017 को आपके प्रतिनिधि mr अभिषेक ने मुझे [protected] पर 13:59पर ([protected]) से कॉल किया और उन्होंने mr. मनमोहन को कॉल कॉन्फ्रेंसिंà�... पर लिया। ये बात लगभग 38:26 mts तक चली। जिसकी रिकॉर्डिंग आपके पास होगी। वो आप चाहे तो सुन सकते है जिसमे mr. मनमोहन अपनी हठधर्मिता दिखाते हुए कह रहे है कि में अपना मैकेनिक ओवन को सही करने नहीं भेजूंगा। उसके बाद आपके प्रतिनिधि mr. अतुल जी का कॉल (18:00) आया था उन्होंने ने भी mr. मनमोहन से कॉल कॉन्फ्रेंस के द्वारा बात करायी तो उन्होंने डैमेज पार्ट को रिप्लेस करने से मना करते हुए कहा कि आपको नए पार्ट्स का पूरा पेमेंट करना होगा। इसी बातचीत के दौरान mr. मनमोहन ने अपनी गलती छिपाने के लिए एक और झूठी बात कही की मैंने इनके मैकेनिक को लोकल किसी बन्दे से रेट try करके बतायी। तो मैंने अतुल जी email ([protected]@lge.com ) 2 email भेज कर जोकि [protected]@yahoo.com/ vishal agarwal से भेजी गयी है। इस रिकॉर्डिंग सुनने के बाद mr. अतुलजी ने मुझे डिकॉउंट ऑफर किया जिसे मैंने खारिज़ कर दिया है। उसकी भी रिकॉर्डिंग मेरे पास है। वही रिकॉर्डिंग मैंने mr. manmohan को उनके व्हात्सप्प no. पर भेजी उसके बाद उनका no. 2 बार no रिप्लाई हो गया। फिर बाद में उन्होंने कॉल पर कल सुबह बात करेंगे बोल कर फ़ोन रख दिया।।
                          मेरी आपसे रिक्वेस्ट है मेरा माइक्रो वेव ओवन जो की कंपनी मैकेनिक से ख़राब हुआ है उसे सही कराया जाये। और आपके अजमेर ऑफिस सर mr. manmohan और मैकेनिक पर झूठबोलने customer को परेशान करने उनका समय ख़राब और मानसिक परेशान करने पर कड़ी कार्यवाही की जाए ताकि आगे किसी और कस्टमर को परेशानी ना हो। sir मेरे पास सारी रिकॉर्डिंग safe पड़ी है कंपनी जब मांगेगी मैं पेश कर सकता। उम्मीद है आप मेरी प्रॉब्लम सॉल्व करेंगे और गैर जिम्मेदार कर्मचारियो पर कड़ी कार्यवाही करेंगे। अन्यथा मुझे कानूनी कार्यवाही करनी पड़ेगी। जिसकी समस्त जिमेदारी कंपनी की होगी

                            I am writing this cpmplainl with regarding my LG FH0B8NDL22 Fully-automatic
                            Front-loading Washing Machine which i purchased on 6th Oct 2016 from amazon
                            worth 22490.00 however on 14th january 2017(thats 3 months from purchase)
                            the machine stopped working in middle of washing.On contacting LG Team they
                            send in a LG Technician Mr Keshav who on inspecting said the drum is
                            damaged of the machine and it will cost me 18000 rupees to repair it.On
                            stating that it comes under "2 year comprehensive warranty" as stated on
                            the amazon site, he flatly denied saying it will be charged. I called up
                            LG customer care for the same issue today and i got the reply that as i
                            have not purchased the machine from a dealer but online so i cannot enjoy
                            the warranty benefit .im attaching the picture of my washing machine, the bill and warranty card. They are dening the warranty under pretext that it is a physical damage however as u can see there is not a single scratch or dent on the machine.Even if i believe thats the company policy is no warranty for goods ourchased online there is no such thing mentioned on the amazon website. Infact it is stated a 2 year comprehensive warranty . This state of matter is highly disappointing and i

                              Washing machine fan is not rotating fast. The fan is very slow. I have contacted the service team, they said this is ths maximum speed. So not satisfied with the product. I[censored] provide replacement with some other washing machine model of LG product which is better that would be fine. The sales person didn't show the demo of the washing machine and he didn't explain about the speed of the fan, thats why we choose this model.

                              I[censored] replace the product. i will prefer this brand again for my refrigerator or else this would be the last product i am purchasing in your brand.

                                I had Purchased a LG LED TV 65UF950T.ATRZ sr no 507KCJZ5K556 on 9th Nov 2015 from Hariom Electronics, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi.This set was defective right from beginning as there was black color tint was coming on the left side o[censored]pper screen corner so Lg changed its Motherboard but the problem was not solved. so they changed its LED panel but again there was same problem, I again complained so LG again changed the LED screen. But to my surprise, this same trouble is still there. Now I have no doubt that there is some inherent defect in this tv. Model as in spite of changing the Motherboard and LED panels twice problem is still there. To my new complaint, when LG Engineer saw this told me that in the manual it is written that corners of the screen can have black tint. It is normal in LED TVs. I am attaching a few photos of this.. I have another 6 years Old Samsung 47 inches Tv. I have compared a same picture on both sets. This shows how much they care for customer satisfaction and quality of their product.

                                    I had purchased an LG LED television (model - 42LW5700) from Chroma retail store, Saket, New Delhi on 24/10/2011 worth Rs 75000. On 05/01/2017, the television suddenly stopped while we were watching it. I had registered a complaint at the LG customer care on that day and the technician visited promptly. On inspection he said that the mother board of the TV had malfunctioned and needs replacement. The technician said that the part was not available and it needed to be ordered. We had asked him to go ahead with whatever was necessary. Five days after the technicians visit, I called him to enquire about the progress, but to my utter surprise I was told that the company had stopped manufacturing the part and nothing can be done now. I again called the customer care the next day and I was given the mobile number of Ms Neha, service center executive. When I called her, she took the details and proposed that with a depreciation value of 85%, I would be given a discount of mere Rs11, 250 on purchasing a new LG TV. I feel its not being fair because a television worth 75000 INR malfunctions in just over 5 years and its not repairable, although I was ready to pay and get it repaired. And the alternative given was totally unjust and i have been bluntly refused any other alternative.

                                    I received a call from the representative but he did not give me any other alternative. He repeated the same that is mentioned in the initial complaint and that seems totally unfair and unacceptable.

                                      My LG 42 inch TV stopped working about 2 months ago. After lodging a complaint I was made to understand that the mother board had stopped working. I have ever since been waiting for someone from LG to get the problem fixed. Not only has no one called proactively to fix the problem but when called have been completely unprofessional. Mr. Amarnath from the service center in Hyderabad please learn to speak to with some decency and decorum

                                        Hi,

                                        I have purchased, Product Model No - T8077TEELK, before two months only. Please find the attached bill & photo of wrong installation of product. Rat mesh was installed wrongly, that is why rat went inside the machine. Machine is damaged badly due to your mistake. I want full replacement of product as a compensation of your mistake. Complaint No. RNP[protected]. Technician Mobile No. [protected]. LG service center officer rudely telling that you will get only repair and not replacement. I am expecting replacement of my only 2 month old product. If not I am planning to go to consumer court. I have sufficient evidence to prove my point.
                                        Please train your technician properly, he was not interested in installation, he just wanted to sell more accessories.
