Hi,

After complaining in this forum, I got a new TV from LG on 27.07.2016. but after a few days even this new TV stopped working.So I purchased the first LG TV on 1.06.2016 and within 3 months 2 new TVs stopped working.LG did not even provide any document for the TV which was replaced on 27th however I managed to click pics of the document the technician was carrying.Further the technician was asked not to write the report and leave the space blank.He did not even give us a hard copy of the checklist he was carrying.We went through a lot of harassment and we no longer want an LG TV in our home.We demand our money back.If my money is not returned, I will be forced to seek help from Consumer Court in Barasat.
Am attaching few documents for LG to look at.I have also recorded videos of the technician and his conversation with us.Unaware that he was being recorded, the technician said that LG TVs are defective.

LG follows unfair trade practices by misleading its customers, not providing documents relating to replacements and warranties.Even the Area Service Manager and Branch Service Manger never replied to my mails.

    Lg g4 handset failed in 8 months, due to mother board failure. Company is not responding. This failure is rampant in many users of lg g4. Surprisingly company not calling back these defective handsets and not giving replacements. Lg service centre apk technology pune not responding, lg area manager balaji sabde not responding, lg senior management not reachable. This is actually cheating of customers. Their customer care ( !! ) diverting to service centre. Dealers saying go to lg...

    Hardware of LG G4 phone failed in 8 months, and matter taken up with company being a major failure. But LG company service centre, service head, or their customer care are not bothered and not resolving my matter. They have cheated me with Rs. 31, 000/- costly phone which has stopped working and they are not replacing it either.

    No response from any quarter of the company. They are just looting customers with high cost and no service support. I need replacement of the phone or full money refund.

    I have purchased LG G4 mobile in Dec 2015 at a cost of 31, 000/- To my shock, in 8 months, the phone's hardware has failed with mother board failure. How can a phone's hardware fail in 8 months ? LG service centre says they can only replace the failed part. On pursuance with ASM & RSM also, they are not willing to replace the phone, which I am demanding. Looking at the complaint on consumer forums, it is seen that LG G4 mobile has this problem with many many handsets, but compamy is not bothered to call back this phone or replace with new handset. This is nothing but cheating customers. Also, no senior management people or Heads are available to complain on this on any phone numbers they have given on their websites. In fact their head office numbers are never reachable, and appear to be fake.

    LG customer support is only diverting the issue from one person to another. No positive action. Even Top Management sitting in Head office are not reachable, as their numbers are hidden. I challenge anyone to find out LG top management numbers. My issue is unresolved and LG is cheating me. No replacement, no warranty for any repairs done. This is the situation with LG who is actually looting customers.

    My self Bhavin Patel from Gujarat. Brother i am also having the same problem with my LG G4 mobile. I am also trying to contact LG company from long time but there is no any reply to the problem there customer support team is also waste of time. They will just call you and ask you all details but there will be no any solution to it.

    Brother i think we need to do something more then just posting in consumer complaints forum. Consumer complaints forum is really doing a great job but the company is just a waste of time.

      We purchased lg 3d Tv, very expensive in 2012 and purchased very expensive extended warranty. The Tv was purchased from Kohinoor electronic stores kandivali . The Tv was delivered in September hence I requested for warranty to start from September which they agreed upon., For extended years. The panel failed to work after a while, after I returned from outstation and I complained saying my old parents who are using the Tv are suffering without the Tv. The company said they don't have parts to repair so they will give me a replacement. It was never given and then company said they can give replacement of smaller Tv instead of 3d smart 42 Tv, which we obliviously didn't agree too. Then they said they will pay us the money and I asked for return of total amount plus extended warranty money. No reply was given. They only dragged in for lengthy time and my old parents were without Tv for years. They they agreed to pay money but never paid so far till date and my old parents suffered without entertainment which is the only form of entertainment for them in old age. The company owes a lot more for the suffering for all this year's since 2014. Please direct the company to compensate for everything from Tv to the mental agony to suffering my old parents went.

        This is Saket Kumar Bafna, 2 years ago I purchased one 42 inch LED TV from LG-Raipur dealer.

        At that time, I remember one scheme from LG company was running. In which I should have got one year of extended warranty.

        It means, ideally I should have got 2 years of warranty.

        Now my display panel of TV is gone and as it is under warranty, LG service center is asking for the warranty card(with extended).

        When I checked at my side, I didn’t find any warranty card. I didn’t inform at that time because generally TV doesn’t damage within 2 Years.

        But, now I need it, When I checked with Raipur branch (With Sanjay Kaul : SANJAY KAUL/LGEIL Raipur Accounts(sanjay.[protected]@lge.com)/ [protected] )
        they don't have and they can't help me out.

        Sorry to bother you but, it is quite urgent as warranty will expire at 19th sep’16.

          had purchased an tv LG 42LD650 Aa few years ago (sno 005LPQN000300). two years ago in 2014 the tv stopped working. was advised to change the mother board at a cost of Rs6000+. Did so and also put in a voltage stabiliser. a few days had the same problem. called LG service and was told that i had to change my mother board costing Rs 7000+.
          Besides my tv i have washing machines and fridges that are Lg.
          This kind of recurrence is making me lose faith in the quality of your products. I have been an LG customer for many years now and the very least you can do i repair my TV at discounted cost if not free. Also an explanation of why this is happening.

            Dear all,
            I have got some problem on my TV product on past week.
            But till now i am not at all getting any proper response from LG Peoples so please do needful.
            I have raised a complaint against this on customer care they have sent one executive to my home he simply came home within 2 min he said entire panel has been damaged you need to pay 26000 amount for this. like some nonsense story they were telling. so please help me out from these people's.

            very poor customer service from lg side. They were irresponsible people's. Not at all ready to take any action upon my complaint all ready 2 weeks got covered but still now no one is interested in this case.
            How they were so lazy, how can they supply dummy products like this. Which will work for 1 year & later it will won't work.

                I registered a complaint RNA[protected], the technician came opened the back panel and fixed it back saying nothing is wrong. He collected an amount of 288 Rs. Next day the issue reoccured. I raised the complaint again but technician is demanding for inspection charges again. It seems the service team is trained for looting people, most pathetic service team

                  I have purchased lg g4 in December in merely 5-6 months only i have faced rebooting problem suddenly, after approaching service station i was told phone's Motherboard has crashed & about 90% of customers are facing the same problem. When i asked to repair the phone co people have pulled their hand saying it a water damage.
                  - want to know every phone has water dage problem.
                  - no officials is giving proper response
                  - asking 22000 for the part after requesting like begger they ready to repair it for 8000.
                  - after giving it to surat service center they are now demand 11000/-
                  - i have not took the phone back from service center
                  - is company is thinking that it is in monopolistic market.
                  - officials are least bother about customer problems.
                  - having premium range product with low quality product
                  - i don't know whom should i compalin as service center, customer care ppl & officials are not responding only.

                  I have received a call regarding depositing money from the service center, i can't afford 10, 500/+ amount.
                  I have mailed company numerous email regarding my problem. But i failed miserably to convince them that phone has this inbuilt issue.
                  I guess i need to call all the g4 frustrated customer who are or have faced the same problem & proceed with it.
                  Or i request company to take back the product which is in company custody and give me whatever amount co. Think after deducting depreciation. So that i can buy some other phone.
                  Company should understand the sentiments of customer as because of the trust in brand, customer buy this kind of expensive product.

                    Hi,
                    I purhcased lg 42lm6410 (3d led tv) 3 years back. Panel is flickering now. I raised a complaint to lg (Num: rna[protected], for which lg checked and said that panel is gone; panel should be replaced; lg does not have the spares; lg can give back the depreciation value of rs23447/- and i can select any other lg tv for this price.

                    1) is it not responsibility of lg to provide spares for the tvs that they sold?
                    2) they are not ready to pay that depreciation amount to me; they said that i buying lg tv from them as the only option. Why should i buy a lg tv again, which is prone for failure?
                    3) if they dont have spares, atleast the depreciation value should be higher. This very low value is unaccaptable for me. There is no reply for the escalation that i did in their website email link about this issue.

                    Now, how to resolve this issue? Where can i escalate to resolve this issue? Or, should i file a consumer case to resolve this issue?

                      Bad experience with LG Product. I purchased LG LED 81cm 32LB530A TV, from croma on 08.11.2014.
                      day before Yesterday while watching move suddenly picture is gone and only sound left.
                      I though this could be some problem of loose connection and I tried with re-checking all connection, but did not get the success.
                      After search on Google "lg led tv no picture just sound" I found this is very common problem for LG LED and so many person faced this issue.
                      TV is just 1.5 Years old and faced the worst issue.
                      regretting after putting my hard money on Life Bad product.
                      Think twice before purchasing LG TV or search on Google "lg led tv no picture just sound"

                        My refrigerator is out of warranty and i called lg customer service for repair. My complain no. Is rna[protected]. My refrigerator was not cooling .

                        Below incident happened on 28/aug/2016
                        When service boy came for repairing

                        1.He told us that only need to replace freezer(I.E.in which ice is created) but after replacing this, he told us that both condensor and compressor also not working properly.

                        2. While working he broken attached accessories nearby freezer.Also freezer not installed properly. Please find attached images.

                        I doubt he is not experienced technician . So i do not believe that my refrigerator's freezer, condensor and compressor, all are not functioning.

                        Resolution : condensor and compressor are ordered by the service agency, so i am waiting for this now.
                        Please send another experienced technician as soon as possible because i do not believe the previous technician.

                        Do the needful asap.

Few months after my Purchase the machine started vibrating during the wash function. soon i lodged a complaint in call centre, a service was provided, the technician advised to maintain certain water level and reduce quantity of clothes. still the problem was not solved. Infact the vibrations increased to such a level, that the machine literary started dancing around. we have to run and stop the machine midway. we complained 3-4 times, each the technician would would make some adjustment, after few days the problem would start again. now when i asked for replacement of machine, they are telling me that they will have to replace the shock absorber. my warranty on machine, is getting over in October, so i told them that i want the machine to be replaced and not repaired, or else extend my warranty.
                          please help me out, Sir, I want replacement, becuase if the problem is not solved even after replacement and warranty is exhausted. i will have to pay for repairs.
                          kindly do the needful.

                            I have purchased refrigerator from lg in feb 2012. Model: gr-b652yspk, year: 2011, type: frost free, gross volume: 559 liters
                            Storage volume: 529 liters
                            Star rating: five star. There was sound while opening the door hence i made complaint to lg for repair. The model seems have design problem in door due to huge cantilever portion and door metal could not take the load. The lg engineer visited to my house and after checking he has informed me that the sheet metal from bottom hinge got broken. Lg service team informed that door has to be replaced. Later informed that lg stopped manufacturing of this product hence lg can not do anything now and left without attending the problem. My refrigerator remains unattended since last 4 days. I have spoken to area manager, service head of lg mr k s tripathi and he told that he can not do anything and suggested me to either repair locally or have depreciated value of rs 8100 which is not at all acceptable to me. I have written written several mails to lg but no response. Over and above i have received sms from lg that lg has closed my complaint also. "your service request rna[protected] is closed. (Reason : discontinued part) & charge collected rs 0/-, for further assistance call lg on[protected]"
                            We trusted lg for end to end solution for life time of product but such lethargic response from lg has put up a big question mark on lg and forcing customer to lodge complaint in consumer court. We, middle class persons buy such costly products once or twice in life time and such response from lg has made our life miserable. Refrigerator is basic requirement in peak summer in our area (Indirapuram, ghaziabad) and my entire family is suffering because of this since last 4 days.

                            Hope for quick solution from lg. If this can not be repaired, lg should provide me the new model of my choice and charge me the difference amount considering invoice price of existing product (Not the depreciated value) as i am not responsible for this design defect of lg product.

                            No local refrigerator repair vendor is ready to take up this repair work as this is sheet metal work and suggesting to get the door replaced through lg. Sheet metal works vendor stating that he will not be responsible for any dent during transit, repair and performance of the door. For time being and due to no response from team lg, i am forced to get this repair from local sheet metal vendor at the risk and cost of lg.

                            Llooking forward your help to get permanent solution from lg.

                              My refrigerator is out of warranty and I called LG Customer service for repair. My complain no. is Rna[protected]. My refrigerator is not cooling properly. When service boy came for repairing he told the gas is leaking and for the checking he disconnect the pipe after that he says that the refrigerator is not repair at home it has to send service Centre and transporting charges is taken by us but we not agreed to give charges for transporting when we called customer care they don't give straight answer that the fridge is not repair at home. We don't agreed to repair and he take charges 288rs. And can't connect the pipe. We repair our fridge by local mechanic and they repair it at home in half an hour and for pipe which not connect we have to give extra charge for it. Shame on the LG service.

                                Almost a year passed away and lg is doing just nothing. Sir almost every part is changed for display problem and my tv is still not serviceable. The lg asm mr. Naveen singh (Mob-[protected]), mr. Sanjay and mr. Hashim ([protected]) who are looking after this case from long back are not able to reply me anything and the asm has blocked my phone and none of the staff is ready to call or talk. Sir, till now i have paid almost 46000 inr but lot of fake adjustments as you can see in the bills attached and please pay attention on the last attachment (Wa004) which was a total mess, there is no job card number nothing this bill was totally fake, so original was taken by lg staff at the time my tv display changed eight months back. They said if we don't give them back the original they won't hand over my tv. So we kept the xerox as a proof. Sir, lg has collected my tv for repair 6-7 month back. I have paid almost 46000/- inr and my tv is not serviceable. They don't even bother to talk. Please help. This repair process and list of complaints made regarding this is very long. Please help me.

                                    On 16/08/2016 I lodged the complaint through LG Sumaria sales ghudbunder road thane from which I purchased on 13/04/2016 (bill no. 1604/0166) the fridge model GL-1302RPZL for non cooling . on 17/08/2016, the technician attended but unable to do anything and forwarded the complaint to another technician. After that on 18/08/2016, Mr. Atik technician came and did nothing and again came on 20/08/2016 with another technician and according to him changed the some part but still complaint not resolved and again after calling him he came on 22/03/2016 and 22/08/2016 and according to him filled the gas and changed the compressor but the problem was as it was previously. Now we are making several calls to him he has not attended the complaint. Again yesterday on 26/8/2016 I lodged the complaint at toll free no. and LG Sumaria shop also. Yesterday on 27/08/2016 one technician Mr. Gaurishankar came and went back to talk to Mr. Atik with the reason that he will come today. I regret to say that a famous company is giving service like this and complaint is not resolved so far. If there is a major fault the fridge must have been replaced with new one. I should mention here previously we were having Godrej fridge but qualitywise and servicewise we were having no problem.

                                      Dear Sir, I am facing issue with LG support. My 4K ultra HD TV panel has gone bad. I called up LG customer care and they ordered a panel. The panel looked used and not in good condition, . I was told by the technician that it was ordered from Korea and it is brand new. I did not accept it and the technician told me that he would order a new one and get it next day which is today. I called up just now he told that even the newly ordered panel is also not good and they will have to order a new one. On top of this the technician also damaged the HDMI port on my TV. So practically we cannot watch the TV. I am looking for some solution and wanted to escalate this issue to the higher management. Please look into it.

                                      It has been two weeks and still haven't received the panel. The person tried 3 times and all the times the panel was of poor finishing and bad quality.
                                      On top of that the original panel which was showing only 2 lines has gone bad by LG service engineer. Who is responsible for that? I need to get compensation.

                                        I have purchased a LG microwave oven on 15th Aug'16 from Great Eastern at Garia Branch Kol-70084, & it delivered after one week whereas they were committed next day as mentioned on the bill. After delivered the company person came at my house for demonstration, but the base plate not matching, its different for my product. They are ask go to the store & change the same.
