I am submitting this complaint after too much of patience. I purchased LG AC on 29th may 2014 from Chitra Electronics Gurgaon, and I am repenting my decision to buy it.This is the worst AC I have ever seen. I have three Samsung brand AC in my house but time I decided to buy LG AC It the fifth time I am having problem with this AC.in one year. 1)-.first time cooling was not there and water started leaking from AC vents service center people came and filter cleaning was done and drain pipe adjustment was adviced.but no body came to adjust it. 2)-Ac stopped working service center people were called said problem in stablizer replaced it and charged 1200 Rs .3)- NO cooling again service center people came did something and went back. 4)-Service centre people called for routine service and detected problem in temperature setting for which they said this remote is not for this AC and it has to be replaced but till now it has not been replaced. 5)- 4-5 days back again water started leaking from AC complaint lodged, one person came on Thursday said pipe adjustment is to be done for which we will come tomorrow and money will be charged, they came just now changed the pipe and charged 120 RS. Your company is taking it very casually because it is in warranty period and any problem is to dealt free of cost.cost. I am sure as soon warranty finishes your dealers will attend the problem quickly because you have given them the target to collect money by selling the items and they follow your instruction to make a fool of customer. I am not at all satisfied with this AC which is giving so much of problem in warranty period.SO it is my request to replace my AC before I serve you legal notice. I assure you that in future I will never buy LG PRODUCTS nor advice any one to buy these products, rather discourage them for the same.Waiting for a quick reply. ONE of the biggest shock to me which my daughter gave is that she bought LG WASHING MACHINE few days back without telling me to give me surprise and washed clothes in it before I came back from office

    Dear Sir/Madam, I have purchased a 1.5 Ton split AC in 2011 at Jhunjhunu (Raj) from your local dealer.After the installation I called to him for replacement of AC because when we have start the AC then noise started in the AC .Dealer and your technical person visited but no solution provided by them.I have requested to him for replacement but he said no problem in machine some, we are identifying the problem.After that I am transferred from the Jhunjhunu.Next year I have also complaint to him but till date no solution provided by them (dealer & Co. side). So, you are requested to please look the matter on priority. We are the regular user of LG products, first time we are facing such type of problem in big brand. Their customers are increasing day by day. But some people have always frustrated in india and put some poor things on any. So don’t go with poor. Avoid them.         AFTER 4 YEARS IN USE THE REFRIGERATOR STOPPED COOLING ! AFTER REPEAT COMPLAINTS ALSO THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO REPAIR. LATER LG SERVICE PEOPLE SAID THEY NEED TO REPLACE IT !! "BUT THEY NEVER REPLACED". I REGISTERED THE COMPLAINT MANY TIMES ON THEIR CUSTOMER CARE NO, BUT THEY CLOSED EACH COMPLAINT WITH SOME USELESS EXCUSE, NOW THERE SERVICE CENTRE IS NOT RESPONDING TO MY CALLS. I FEEL REGRET TO CHOOSE LG PRODUCT.

          Dear Sir, This is with reference to an incidence that I want to bring in your kind notice. I have been a loyal customer for LG, I have 2 LCD, 3 A/C and 1 refrigerator from LG (which stands for Life’s Good, which in my case means life’s bad). I assumed that LG product life should be for at least 10 years which is not the case now I know. One of my LCD Model # 32LG80FR purchased in February 2010 became faulty now and was not working. I have already taken AMC for the product which is valid till September 2015. I have made a complaint at LG customer center (Complaint # RNA[protected]for the same. Now, as per company it can’t be repaired or replaced. LG manager Mr. Sahil Chaudhary claims that company has stopped manufacturing the model of that LCD and therefore the parts can’t be replaced/repaired. They are offering us to buy a new 32 inch LCD worth some INR 30, 000/- and get a discount of 15% to 35%. I was speechless when I heard this, first I paid amount of AMC which assures you that your product will either be repaired or replaced but now the answer is to just receive 15% to 35% discount. Why would have I invested in AMC if this was the case. I have Paid amount of AMC and now is expected to buy a new LCD. As per AMC the product was 100% covered, in the sense that faulty part will either be repaired or replaced. Not sure from where this discount has come up? Really feel like completely distrustful. I feel cheated and above all disheartened with the way it has been handled. I have to make really 10 to 15 calls to follow up with LG executives, none of them even bother to call me and update me with the status. I had first made a complaint to the customer care, got a message that Engineer Shyam Sunder ([protected]) will attain the complaint however, he did not turn up, I have called him and he gave me other number of his TL saying that he don’t have my call to attend as per his daily schedule. Then I called up the TL and he gave me number of some other engineer. I followed up with this new person and in turn he also said that the complaint is not with me. I had to call up the TL again to request him for sending someone to check the error. Finally after so many follow ups the engineer visited our home and checked LCD. And as per him the fault is in the mother board which needs a replacement and for which he has taken all the details and said he will confirm for the same by tomorrow. He did not called up to tell me the status therefore I called up again tomorrow to follow up on the status in which he has confirmed that they can’t repair or replace the product as they don’t have product. He has connected my call to his TL Mr. Jeetender Jhangra who has also confirmed the same that they can’t do anything. I called up at LG customer care to understand the problem and want to speak to some senior to resolve my problem and they have provided mobile number of Mr. Manoj Chauhan (supervisor) who handles such complaints. I called up Mr. Chauhan and intern receives the same response and then he has connected to his Manager Mr. Sahil Chaudhary. My affection towards LG products seems to be very irrational act of mine. From consumers point of view this is against the policy of consumer protection in India. May I request you to assist or judge the situation from customer’s point of view who completely trusts LG product and commitment but has been shown downhearted.             HI, I've been in contact with the LG customer service team, but they are not able to replace the compressor of my refrigerator, model no. GR-642BEPF. Every time a service request is created for this issue, I am told that they have ordered the compressor and it will come soon.                 I purchased a new LG 65" LED TV from Ezone Pune on 26 January 2015. The TV was delivered in first week of Feb-2015. Within 15 days of operation a patch appeared on the right hand side of the screen. Initially I thought it was due to a fault in the cable TV service, however when the same patch appeared while surfing the net also I logged a complaint at ezone and on the LG website on 15 March 2015. A technician attended the complaint and confirmed the defect. I immediately called the customer care officer and asked him that I would like to have a replacement of the TV set and I would not accept a defective unit which failed within days of purchase. The officer told me that a request for replacement was sent to LG HO and that they would revert within one week. No one bothered to call me even after one week. When I called them I was told that the HO had approved the replacement but the TV was not in stock and they would revert within one week. Again no one called after one week. When I called again I was given a new phone number and told that my complaint would be handled by Mr Balaji ([protected]). Mr Balaji told me that the TV was available at Kolkata and would revert with the exact delivery date in two days. Again no one called and my called were also not answered. When I called from another number I was told that the TV in Kolkata was diverted to another customer and I was given one more number Mr Vinayak[protected] 73). He said that he would revert within one week but again no one called me. When I called again Mr Vinayak said the TV would not be replaced and HO had never approved any request for replacement. I don't know what is going on at LG and why a global company like LG treats its customers with such disrespect. It has been 60 days now that my complaint is open yet there is no response from LG. Can anyone reading this direct me to the Head of Customer Care as I don't think there is anyone else now who can do much to resolve my complaint. Regards, Atul Wable Cell: [protected]

                      we have purchased a LG refrigerator on 23rd feb 2015 from Modern sales sector 22 b chandigarh. Within 75 days we got complaint about cooling of refrigerator. then we registered the complaint regarding fault with complaint no. RNA[protected].on date 9-5-2015.then the engineer from LG visited and examined that there is a gas leaking problem.but we denied to get it repaired.we reported issue to retailer he logged complaint again with the complaint no. RNA[protected] then again after two days technician came and observed that there is leakage between compressor and condenser and he told this is manufacturing fault that will be repair within two days.but we are not ready to get it repaired because it is not more than three months since we purchased.we reported same to retailer but he denied for any help. technician who came did not get worksheet signed from me and did not give me to write. i don't want any repair .                         I am a user of LG Split AC. Service people come but no written report for our records or to know what type of service is done. Example: Still we are doubtful there is a leak in gas. When asked to send Extended Warranty details Customer care says they can not send through mail and only will explain over phone. IS IT A GOOD PRACTICE???.

                          I am waiting since 5 days for the service centre to send some one to refill gas. I think the service guy has taken it too seriously and is probably pumping gas out at the KG Basin for my refill. I made a big mistake by going for company service. I feel local service guys are much more reliable and prompt.

                            My LG air conditioner is giving me lot of maintenance since purchased. So many times, I have been complaining that cooling is not up to the mark & every time some or the other parts are suggested to be changed. In the month of Mar'15 I have already serviced the AC & today again it has some problem. Even engineers are not coming in time. I have been charged Rs.550/- and been promised to have proper gas refilling within a day time still I am waiting for the engineer to come!!! According to me, complaints must be attended within 24 hrs time with reasonable expenses..In Anand (Gujarat) I don't get satisfactory work & every time I feel like cheated by the local vendor.                               I have purchased 32LA 6210-TD Sr no 303NDHBE4681 from Lulu (Oman)on 4th July 2013 .This TV has been installed in India 14th July 13 .I was facing problem with the TV as the display was not seen .When contacted LG service center from India, they had replaced mother board as it was failed on 27 th July 2014 .Now after 7 months i am faced the same problem (motherboard has failed) .The LG service engineer attended and told the spare needs to be changed Cost Rs 5000 / .I requested since the failure is 2nd time within 7 months the part should be replaced free of cost, but LG says that it is out of warranty and I will have to pay for the same . I have refused to pay since I doubt for the quality as the same part fails within the period ot 7 months and the basic reason of failure is not known . I have already reported earlier but there is no response really frustrated for their service and quality . Umesh

                                I have logged a complaint that my split Ac's (model-Lsa5er3n ) swing flap has stopped working.The service man came and checked and said they need to change the flap, so I asked him to change it as soon as possible but later he said that the flap is not available so they have to change some parts for it to work which will cost around 2500rs, then also I agreed to pay and get it repaired.After 4-5days the serviceman called me and said that the part is also not available and offered us to get the ac replaced for which I have to pay the depreciated amount of the AC which comes around 80% of the cost of the AC .I am greatly disappointed that for just a flap which costs 2500rs I need to replace my Ac for which I have to pay 80% of the cost of my Ac which is totally nonsense, why should I pay 80% and that is also because of parts unavailability.The company should bear the 80% amount &a not the consumer.I am very much displeased with this kind of treatment to consumer .So I request LG to look into this matter and solve the problem genuinely as I am facing great problem using the Ac.

                                    COST of LED TV bought on FEB 11, 2012: Rs 46000 + 5000 taxOn SEP-23-2014 we have raised a service request to repair the LG LED TV panel crack. The complaint No is RNA[protected].The service technician visited our home and verified the TV and after 1 week time they communicated that they dont have LED panel for this model all over INDIA.so LG has opted us the solution to take the TV for depreciated cost of rs 26000.This confirmation is given by Prabakar from LG (MOBILE No[protected]. As they agreed to refund Rs26000 to us, they wanted from us the TV original BILL and cancelled cheque & we have provided it to the service technician.Afterone week talking to prabakar confirmed that we will be getting this money in a week time and so we were happy with LG service and solution and Booked a new LG LED TV Online (OCT-6-2014)Then we were trying to follow with Prabakaran to get the amount but he told told to contact Vishnuvardan from LG ADAMBAKKAM service Centre ( Mobile No[protected].Then this new person told that they can replace only 8500 rs.We got shocked and felt very disappointed from this call. The reason told was not welcoming.We escalted to higher level in LG & we asked that 26000 rs to be refunded to us as we are using all LG products in our home ( LG MOBILE, LG WASHING MACHINE, LG REFRIGERATOR, LG AC)They told they will discuss again & come back with good news & to follow up we have been asked to talk to LG service area manager RAJKUMAR[protected]. Finally RAJKUMAR told they cannot replace any money, they have got now LG PANEL from somewhere in these 3 montsh time and pushing us to get the LG TV panel or get new LG tv with extra money by giving back this old TV to them.

                                      ON MAY 1ST 2015, I CALLED LG CUSTOMER SERVICE REGARDING MY 3 YR OLD FRONT LOAD WASHER, AFTER DESCRIBING THE PROBLEM AND RUNNING SOME CHECKS, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT IT COULD BE EITHER THE MOTOR OR A PROGRAMMING ISSUE. I WAS TOLD THAT IF IT WAS THE MOTOR I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY BECAUSE IT HAS A 10 YR WARRANTY, BUT IF NOT I HAD TO PAY THE SERVICE CALL, AND IF I PREPAID IT WOULD ONLY BE $164.98, IF IT TURNED OUT IT WAS THE MOTOR I WOULD GET A REFUND. SO IT WAS THE MOTOR, I CALLED IN ON MAY 8TH SPOKE TO ALI TO REQUES A REFUND, I WAS TOLD I NOW NEED TO FAX A COPY OF THE BILL IN ORDER TO GET MY REFUND. I SEND THEM A COPY OF THE BILL WHEN I REGISTERED THE APPLIIANCE, THEY ALSO KNOW BY THE SERIAL AND MODEL #, WHY AM I GETTING THE RUN AROUND? PLEASE HELP, MADDALENA BAXTER,[protected] OR[protected]

                                        I purchased a LED TV (Model number - LED-42 LN5120-42") on March 29, 2014, exactly 13 months later the screen has started showing lines. I requested LG care to check the TV and was informed by your engineer that the PCB Control has some issues and would have to be replaced. He then spoke to the customer care centre and was informed that LG no more replaces the T-CON/ PCB control and instead I would have to purchase the whole panel for Rs 20, 000. I have been coordinating with Ms. Rashmi of LG Service Centre, on a daily basis who has been telling me that they have sent a requisition for this PCB and was not in a position to tell us as to when they can arrange same. Today (after almost five days), she advised me to talk to her senior one Mr. Sunil ([protected]) . When I explained to him the whole episode, he tried to convince me that we need to buy the entire panel ; in other words spend another 20 K. When I told him this is not ethical business practice and we may have to approach the consumer court for getting justice, he bluntly told us to go ahead. I am shocked that within 13 months your products start malfunctioning and then instead of providing the spare parts you are trying to upsell your whole panel to customers. Someone who has spent around 50, 000 on your products is being asked to spend another 22, 000 (including your service visits and charges) for a sub-standard product manufacturing from your end. This is absolutely unprofessional and unethical. What surprises me is that the panel and the T-CON controllers are two different parts often available in the spare markets openly. I am sure that the part will be available.
