I am writing this complaint on behalf of my maid servant who works in my house. She is an illliterate and cannot write so I am taking this initiative. My maid servant purchased an LG LED tv from SATYA AGENCIES PURASAWALKAM on 28/12/ 2015. The tv was delivered but it could not be installed by the technicians as my maid was out of towm for a few days. And even after repeated calls nobody turned up. So, my maid and her husband installed it herself on a stand. Some days later by accident the tv fell down and the panel broke. She approached the store, they said she would have to pay up the whole amount of Rs.12000/- as it is a physical damage. She resisted in many ways. She blamed them for not coming on time to install it. She pleaded that she was below the poverty line.Nothing helped. She finally agreed to pay up the whole amount . And even after repeated calls to the toll free number, the service representatives, nobody has turned up to repair the tv. Latest heard was that they have to order the panel . I cannot be more surprised as LG company expects its customers to be technicallly aware before buying their products. LG boasts of its non breakable panel and what about service. I have never owned an LG product . I think this experience may just prevent me from buying any as well. I also think Samsung is unbeatable in customer service. However, since my maid has unfortunately already purchased it, Can you please help . Her multiple complaint numbers are RNA[protected], RNA[protected]. The people handilng the service issue have also been talking very rudely to them . The issue was handled by Mr. Thiyagarajan of Thiagaraja LG service and Mr. Ramaswamy.

    Complain No: RNA[protected] dated April 6, 2015 I had put in the above complain as there is a sound coming from my AC (Model No LSA 3cG2AFI), which was purchased in June 2010. The service engineer checked the machine and informed me that the motor needs to be changed. However, today (April 9) I got a call from your representative, Mr B Debnath, who told us that the part is no longer in production and I have to purchase a new machine in place of my existing one. I can’t understand how come a machine which is not even 5 years old is not serviceable and spare parts for such machines are not available. If spares are not available, why did the company entered into an Annual Maintenance Contract on 30.9.2013 valid for three years. The AMC clearly says “All defective components shall be replaced with compatible working parts”. This is to let you know that I have no intention of purchasing a new machine and your company should repair/replace the defective part at no cost. I am shocked to see that your company has sold a product which has broken down within 5 years of purchase, and you are unable to rectify the problem even when the machine is under AMC. If you have sold a machine, you should carry enough stock of spare parts to service such machines. I didn’t expect such horrible customer service from your company. I always purchased LG machines (I have three other LG ACs) because I thought you provide excellent customer service If you can’t provide the service you have promised then I have no option but to purchase a new machine from some other company and take your company to Consumer Forum. You have no right to take your customers for granted.

      I registered mycomplaint for AC first time on 12/13 March2015. After many follow ups with LGcustomer care and the local service centre, they finally took the AC forrepair. They informed it is a gas leakage and then later they informed thecompressor has to be changed. Now even after 2 weeksof being without AC and despite constant follow ups with customer care, servicecentre, regional office and all possible escalations I am aware of, the AC hasnot been delivered and there is no confirmation from LG on when the AC will berepaired and delivered.         Hi Team, I bought LG AC 1.5 TON LSA5SP3M on 12th April 2014. It got repaired 5 times in span one year. Every time technicians visits my home and fill the gas and saying some silly reasons for the issue but problem has not fixed even after 5thvisit. I really feel upset and waste of money as I spent 35 thousand on this ac and its troubled me a lot in one year itself. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH LG SERVICE.

            I purchased a LG LED TV 32LB582 on 20 Oct 14 with 1+1 yrs warranty. On 18 Mar TV became un-serviceable. A complnt was lodged with LG costumer care vide SR No. RNA[protected] on 19 Mar. Thereafter ser engr visited and described that some part of tv is required to be replaced and will re-visit with part. Ser Engr visited again after few days with part which was not matching with the fitted one. Then he told that the defected part of tv will be demanded from the LG Delhi office through courier. He also described that part is not under warranty and payment will be required to be made. Even I agreed for that though tv was under warrant, the part has not arrived till date and new tv is lying unserviceable since 20 days causing a huge inconvenience to me and my family. A number of calls made to LG Bhatinda service centre and finally to LG costumer care on 06 Apr. However, all resulted in waste. Pl do needful so that tv can be repaired LG can stand for making life good.

              I purchased my phone from S.H.MUMTAZUDDIN TIMES (P) LTD, 4 RADHA BAZAR STREET KOLKATA - 700001, since the day i have purchased the phone 19/03/2015, i have been facing minor issues with the phone but when on Saturday late in the evening my problem increased . I was waiting for Monday, so i could visit them ( vendor ) when i visited them they told me to visit the service centre . I visited the service centre and showed him my problems he agreed that the problem was genuine and said that we cannot give you a replacement as u have exceeded the 4 days exchange time . I purchased the handset on thursday late at night then it was a weekend in between after that i had my financial year ending so i visited them on the 26/03/2015 as i was really very busy and i did not know about the 4 days exchange policy, therefore they said u need to down grade the software and gave it back to me after the downgradation was done . It was working fine then after a few days again i started facing a lot of problems with my phone with the microphone, battery overheating, shutting down on its own and blue screen for two times . I immediately went to the service centre again and showed them all my problems they received my handset for further investigation and gave me a standby set . Yesterday i received a call from them saying that your handset is working absolutely fine and we cannot diagnose any problems with your phone hence please take the delivery . I went today took my delivery came back to office, restored the whole phone from LG PC suite and again it got hanged two times and shut down on its own . I called Lg service centre immediately and they said to come and visit them again on visiting them Mr.Surana said that there are a lot of third party applications and hence it all this is happening and to try it using in safe mode . I came back to my office and erased everything from my phone and just two applications were installed whatsapp and instagram and i was on a call and again the phone had switched off on its own . I purchased the phone for my convenience but i think i have taken a liability on my head since that day i haven’t used the phone more being running to the vendor or the service centre. I am a businessman and hence it is not tolerable for me to continue in this manner. I have spent a lot of my hard earn money on this phone for my comfort and not to regret this way at my purchase . Kindly help me resolve my issue. F.Y.I - i have heard from people that the vendor sells handset from the market and builds the IMEI number and sells it, maybe i am mistaken but it’s my duty to inform you . Even i would like to mention that they said u have to get a software installed from us without which you cannot use the handset on your computer but he mislead me as it is available on the lg official website LG PC SUITE which was later the way i connected to my PC and even gave me a anti virus which was not even a pro version but trial and charged RS 1400 in cash for the following .                 Hi All, My Name is ashok, I have purchased TV in 2013 about 42 inch, Regarding extending the warranty now has been informed us and suddenly one day TV was under repair and the cost of the repair was like 6000 and I was requesting to reduce the cost of service and the parts replacement because that was company issue and I have to full fill it .                   I have registered a service request for my washing machine on April 5th, 2015. As advised by the customer care executive, I've cleaned the drum as instructed. But, the problem didn't get resolved. So I requested them to send an engineer to service the Machine. The customer support described that the engineer will proper clean the unit and the problem will get resolved. The engineer visited on May 6th, 2015 and repeated the procedure of cleaning the drum that I've already done twice. He ended up saying that there is no issue in the machine. I even showed him the clothes that were not properly washed and having detergent stains. I requested him to clean the detergent but he said that doesn't come under my service. He argued that you have used bad quality detergent. I showed him the Ariel Complete Matic Front Load detergent pack that I am using. Then also, he didn't want to clean the machine. Finally, he didn't do anything and was asking me a repair charge of Rs. 500/-. I called the customer care and explained them the situation. They gave me two local numbers to contact for the issue. They behaved very rudely with me and said that you don't know how to use the machine. I am using this machine since 2010 and have never faced any issue. My issue is still unresolved. Waiting for LG to respond me on this.

JUST TAKE THE SERVICE CHARGES AND CLOSED THE COMPLAINT. i AM PROUD TO TELL I AM A LG FAN. 80 PER OF MY HH ARTICLES ARE OF LG ONLY.I LODGED THE CALL ON 28.03.15 FOR REPAIR OF WASHING MACHINE.                       our LG washing machine with front load out of warranty was not working well and we have booked complain about this. LG service person gave us estimation of about RS11000 for sending machine to LG Center and he himself was ready to solve the problem with lesser amount. He has charged around 4000 from us machine is not workin properly and he is not replying properly. So, your service person just faking with you and with us. and we are loosing faith from LG now. your service man are not working for you. solve this for company's sake.

                        Very Poor service and customer harassment from LG: I purchased an LG split AC from Ashirbad Electronics, Tezpur Assam on 17.07.2013. It could be run for only a few days that year as summer ended. When next summer started, the AC gave no cooling. I registered complaint through phone. Gas was charged but in a few days, cooling reduced. The service guy said that the units have to be sent to service centre for repair. Last year, my AC was repaired 3 times in all for no cooling . Dismantling the units and sending to servcie centre is also a big harassment in itself. And the problem has re-occurred again this summer (Last repair: Oct 2014) Last time, service manager Mr Bhadra Bora, Tezpur, Assam ( Ph [protected]) said that if the problem re-occurred, the AC would be replaced. Now the problem has re-occurred, but the service guys want to take the AC for repair again. Mr Bhadra Bora and the earlier service guys are of no help as Mr Bhadra Bora is supposedly looking after some other city. Now how frustrating is that! LG as a reputed brand should have updates about product service history and any person's transfer should not make the case ' a new case' for the next person. Its pure customer harassment.                           Hi Bought LG split ac and extended warranty Sno.- 302PAMH051787, paid 2700 for the extended warranty. We had recently shifted to a new house and so called LG customer care for installation, after installation is done got an sms from LG saying that didnt do the installation and hence closing the call. How did they knew that someone else came for the installation ? and why will i call someone outside when i paid 2700 for extended warranty? Someone from LG is misusing the companys name. They are sending their friends for fast money. the mistake i did was i didnt ask for the bill.I have 3 LG products and forst time i am facing this problem. I have samsung ac as well and had never any problem. My cousin has reliance ac, he bought for 20 k 3 years back and still runing fine without any problems. i am paying the price going behind brand name and wasting time and money. Now my ac is leaking and LG service engineer says it is installation problem he s not responsible.Please look into this matter seriously.

                            Hi, Sno. - 302PAMH051787, i purchased LG split ac and now it is under extended warranty. We shifted to a new house so i called LG customer care for dismantle and installation. After they went i got an sms saying that i got it done from some other people and not from LG. I called only LG and dont know how came. It is under warranty, so why will i call outside people and more over they charged me 7k for extra piping and installation. The mistake i did was i didnt ask for the bill. This is the 3rd LG product and never had this problem before. Now you tell me how they came when i called LG customer care for the installation. The problem now is it is leaking and the lG service engineer says it is installation problem. I spent 2700 on the extended warranty, if i had to go outside for service why will i take extended warranty. Will never go for LG again . We have samsung ac as well and never faced problem with service or product. I strongly believe technician/ people from lg are misusing the policy by sending outsiders to earn fast money. Please look into this matter. Will never again go for extended warranty. My cousin bought reliance ac for 20k 3 years back and never had any problem whatsoever. I went for brand and had to pay the price.

                              Sr.no.303PAPD084040CID; 303PAEB017332COD We had complained on 19th March 2015 that AC was not cooling the room. Person from the service centre - Bhushan Airconditioning Pvt Ltd, Andheri East, Mumbai inspected the installation and said gas leakage suspected from condenser coil .Took the AC to service centre on March 20th for checking. No response from them after that despite repeated calls. On April 3rd they brought back the unit and installed it saying no problem detected. Tested the piping for leakage with nitrogen. No problem reported. Rechecked cooling after installation which is less .have said will fill more gas today and recheck. Billed me for Rs.4627/- for gas and Rs. 560 for services.Cause for Problem of gas leakag.e not yet diagnosed and terrible delay of 12 days. Very poor service response and have to pay without knowing why the gas leaked .In this case need to be compensated and given free service for inordinate delay and poor service.

                                Hi,

                                This is Mr. S S Tavargiri from Belgaum, Karnataka. We had purchased LG LED TV (LG LED 32'32LN5120) from authorized LG dealer in Belgaum ie "Pai International electronics LTD" on 1st Nov 2013.
                                The matter is, few weeks back suddenly the TV stopped displaying the picture. We did consult the LG service center in Belgaum, the service engineer examined the TV and said that the issue is with display and it has to be replaced which would cost ~14k. This is quite strange and was surprise to us, how a product can be of such a quality that it even cant last for one and half year. We chose to buy LG product by trusting the brand and its popularity in producing quality products in the electronics market. But, in our case the product that we received was of pour quality which got such a major issue in short period of time.

                                The product is out of warranty by just two and half months, we want company to replace/repair the product under warranty.

                                Following is the complaint number we received from service center RNA[protected], registered mobile number "[protected]". We dint get proper response from service engineer, they were very unprofessional. This is not expected from such a big brand company service center.

                                Its more then one week now, I had also dropped a mail regarding the same and registered complaint on LG website. The issue was assigned to area service manager Mr Arun chinagi. But till date we neither got call from him nor he is bothered to answer our calls. This is such an unprofessional and irresponsible behavior. I had again drooped a mail to customer care about the kind of response I am getting but in vein.
                                Now even customer care has stopped responding. This is so much frustrating. Never expected this kind of response from the company like LG.

                                I am escalating matter here and will also log complaint in consumer forum in Belgaum.

                                  NO action to my complaint. I have been calling the customer care department continously from past 4 days regarding my LG Air conditioner problem . However, no further action is taken. Other than assurance NO visit is being done. You are forcing us to approach consumer forum. My LG split AC has stopped cooling even when kept at 18 degree C. I have tried all the options and manuals to correct it but it still doesn't work. This has been informed to the customer care department and the Technical members over and over again, but No service team member has visited to correct the same. On top of that, today when I called the customer care department to enquire about my complaint, they said the technical team has cancelled the complaint. Very poor service. I was provided this complaint no. RNA[protected]. I had spoken to the Mobile Nos : [protected] and [protected] 5times. Please take immediate suitable action.

                                    Hi Team, This is to your kind notice that after using LG GoldenEye for more than 10 Years, decided to get myself with a Smart TV. Purchased LG 42LB6500 on 12th Oct 2014 via one of the etailer's. Things were fine till 26th Feb 2015, when all of a sudden the display went off and only audio could be heard. Raised my 1st complaint via Customer Care #[protected] vide Complaint # RNA[protected], which was assigned to Velu Chamy ([protected]), after nearly more than 2 days and follow up with one person by name Paulos, got a call from Sudhakar ([protected]), who promptly came on the same day and said that it is a Power Supply issue and would replace it. After 2 days Power Supply unit was replaced and TV started working, but for just 2-3 hours, again the same issue recurred. Called up Sudhakar again on the issue, he came on the very same day and said that it might be Mother Board problem and would order for one, and would take atleast a week. To my surprise, he was there the next day with a Mother Board, told me that there was a spare and hence he wanted to fit it. However, with the new Mother Board, issue still persisted. He eventually concluded that the issue is related with Display and would order for a new Display. After nearly 14 Days a new display was brought, however, the same issue cropped up after 3-4 hours. TV does not display anything and can just hear the audio. In the interim, I had raised complaints RNA[protected], RNA[protected] and CNA[protected] as I was not receiving any response from LG side for my request to fit with a new display unit. Eventually, now Sudhakar claims that the issue is related with Power Supply and would replace it again. My question is if their new Power Supply circuit doesn't last for more than 2 days, what quality and type of circuit are you manufacturing and how is it passing the QC. Fed up with all these, I tried reaching Velu Chamy again on 2nd April 2015, but to my surprise he never picked up my call even after nearly 10-12 follow ups. Raised a complaint RNA[protected] requesting for a replacement of the entire unit as I am not sure if the TV would even work with the spares being fitted one after another. Not sure even if the spares being fitted are brand new or have already been used by someone else. Request you to take up the issue with high priority and ensure that my issue is resolved asap as it is been more than 35 days since I am not able to use my TV Unit. Also, I would like to thank Sudhakar for his patience on the matter, who always attended my calls and was updating me on the progress. However, would also like to comment that Velu Chamy was of no use and he never received my calls or took any responsibility on the issue. If he is in-competent to work on the issue, he would rather give it to some one else. Finally, got a call from Dilip ([protected]) yesterday who was a Service Guy who fits TV Stands, and he was not sure as to why he was asked to call me.                                     Hi Team,

                                    After much nagging and trying to reach Velu Chamy ([protected]) multiple times on 3rd Apr 2015, I was eventually able to get hold of him. He informed me that a person would call me by evening and would come to my house and verify the TV.

                                    Got a call from Dilip ([protected]) around 6PM who informed me that he has already have appointment for the day and would come tomorrow around 11.30AM. Called Dilip again 4th Apr 2015 around 9.30AM, no response, called him at 11AM. He informed me that he is busy and is in a workshop and said that he was not sure if he would be able to come and asked me to talk to Velu Chamy.

                                    Again after multiple tries was able to get hold of Velu, who said he would call me back. As ever he never called me back, got hold of Dilip again who told me that Shashi ([protected]) would come and test the TV again. Shashi indeed came around 12.45PM and after initially analysis told me that there is some issue with the display with certain batch of TV's manufactured and instead of ordering the same batch a different batch of display should have been ordered and that Sudhakar has gone in wrong direction.

                                    Told him that the TV has undergone all sorts of changes and I do not have any trust nor confidence in allowing LG to re-experiment with the TV and wanted a replacement. Documented my requirement in the job sheet and gave it to Shashi, who in turned told me that he would take it up with his manager. It is Manager who has to decide if the TV need to be replaced.

                                    LG please understand that after investing 70+K, if you are not sure if the TV will get repaired, then tell me how do you expect me to trust your company going forward.

                                    Please replace my TV as per my request.

                                      I am repeatedly getting bad experience of LG Service center @kalyan(Ritesh Electronics). First when I enquired for refrigerator door gasket they denied to provide it by saying that customer cannot order rubber parts. They said me we have to take service and pay service charges if want to replace any parts. But I think If the parts are easily removable we ourselves can change it. So I called LG's customer care and they confirmed me that customer can order any parts and we just have to pay parts charges and parts delivery charges, if donot want any other service. So I requested for some of the refrigerator and washing machine parts last week through LG Customer care. Complaint no.s are RNA[protected], RNA[protected]. My registered contact no. is [protected] But still when service center executive visited our home, he was denying on this. When I told him that I already had a word with LG customer care and I can cross check in front of him he get ready to take my order. Today when he came to deliver those parts, some parts was unpacked/open and even not in good condition. How company can deliver unsealed/unpacked parts. I doubt service center might sell local parts. LG customer care is also not ready to take complaint against service center. I hope other customers might also facing same trouble. Please guide me how I can get my ordered parts in sealed and in good condition and how i can raise a voice for doubtful service of Ritesh Electronics.

                                        I had purchased an 1 ton Split AC from Kohinoor Electronics, Vashi, Navi-Mumbai on 20/03/2015. I reside at Koparkhairane near Vashi. After repeated and several reminders to the Shop as well as to LG customer care, the product is still not installed. The complaint no. is RNA[protected]. I am really fed up of these daily complaints. Every time i just hear that within 24 hours it will be installed. But the 24 hours never comes. I am returning the product back to the shop. Thank you for your very kind and fast service.
