Hi Team,
This is to your kind notice that after using LG GoldenEye for more than 10 Years, decided to get myself with a Smart TV. Purchased LG 42LB6500 on 12th Oct 2014 via one of the etailer's.
Things were fine till 26th Feb 2015, when all of a sudden the display went off and only audio could be heard. Raised my 1st complaint via Customer Care #[protected] vide Complaint # RNA[protected], which was assigned to Velu Chamy ([protected]), after nearly more than 2 days and follow up with one person by name Paulos, got a call from Sudhakar ([protected]), who promptly came on the same day and said that it is a Power Supply issue and would replace it.
After 2 days Power Supply unit was replaced and TV started working, but for just 2-3 hours, again the same issue recurred. Called up Sudhakar again on the issue, he came on the very same day and said that it might be Mother Board problem and would order for one, and would take atleast a week.
To my surprise, he was there the next day with a Mother Board, told me that there was a spare and hence he wanted to fit it. However, with the new Mother Board, issue still persisted. He eventually concluded that the issue is related with Display and would order for a new Display.
After nearly 14 Days a new display was brought, however, the same issue cropped up after 3-4 hours. TV does not display anything and can just hear the audio.
In the interim, I had raised complaints RNA[protected], RNA[protected] and CNA[protected] as I was not receiving any response from LG side for my request to fit with a new display unit.
Eventually, now Sudhakar claims that the issue is related with Power Supply and would replace it again. My question is if their new Power Supply circuit doesn't last for more than 2 days, what quality and type of circuit are you manufacturing and how is it passing the QC.
Fed up with all these, I tried reaching Velu Chamy again on 2nd April 2015, but to my surprise he never picked up my call even after nearly 10-12 follow ups. Raised a complaint RNA[protected] requesting for a replacement of the entire unit as I am not sure if the TV would even work with the spares being fitted one after another. Not sure even if the spares being fitted are brand new or have already been used by someone else.
Request you to take up the issue with high priority and ensure that my issue is resolved asap as it is been more than 35 days since I am not able to use my TV Unit.
Also, I would like to thank Sudhakar for his patience on the matter, who always attended my calls and was updating me on the progress. However, would also like to comment that Velu Chamy was of no use and he never received my calls or took any responsibility on the issue. If he is in-competent to work on the issue, he would rather give it to some one else.
Finally, got a call from Dilip ([protected]) yesterday who was a Service Guy who fits TV Stands, and he was not sure as to why he was asked to call me. He promptly replied that he would put the matter across to his superior
