I had purchased a 32" LED TV around 2.5years back and had a very experience so far with all the LG products so far at my place. Since past 3 days, suddenly the TV screen started flickering and was complete out of service. I raise the complaint immediately and was being assured that they would send a service engineer within 24hours for which I had taken a day off from office and still did not get any updates on the same. After following up with the LG customer care toll-free number every time I got the same response that they had sent a reminder to the service center and they would contact me within 24hours but its almost over 40 hours and had yet not received any response. Just wanted to make a point that due to this kind of negligence in service any customer would loose the loyalty with the brand like LG. Still hoping for a response.

    Dear Sir, Last year we bought 40 Numbers of 2 and 1.5 Tons LG Split Air-conditioners and LCD Televisions for our new property “Metro Plaza Hotel” in Mangalore, Karnataka State, India, After few days 2 Split Air-conditioners were not cooling properly. We contacted the Agent and our maintenance Contractor M/s. REISHAN COOLING SOLUTIONS (Contact Person: Mr. EDWARD) send the technician to inspect the same but could not rectify the problem. Keep on attend the Air-conditioners without any result. When we were very upset with him, he promised us that he will inform LG Service authorities to inspect the Two Air conditioners. Our repeated calls back to LG Customer Service and M/s. REISHAN COOLING SOLUTIONS resulted in lots of promises that someone would get back to us. We received complaint numbers RNA[protected] dated 19TH March 2014 and RNA[protected] dated 20TH MARCH 2014. Last month we have been informed by the M/s. RIESHAN COOLING SOLUTIONS Technicians Mr. Arun Kumar (who came to inspect on 14th March) and Mr. Naveen Kumar (who came to inspect on 20th March) that the problem is with the Condenser of the Air-conditioners and the same will be replaced by LG, We kindly request the concerned authorities to do the needful to avoid our long time relation with LG is should not turned out to become sour.       0t) three star purchesd on 21-jun-2014 and instoled on 23-jun 2014 .But now this ac not working properly . Am allredy registerd my complaints 2 time but no body can solved it .Enginers came for checking and they said that our seniour enginer said to we have ouer loud for calls that's the reason we help less, so i want to request to you please solve my problem as soon as possible .

        I purchased LG spilt AC 3 Years ago. From day one I avail the AMC also. From last few days water is leaking from my AC and I have logged the complaint. Engineer came and respond that this problem will not be solved till reinsallation. But it cost me 1800/-. I told him that earlier installtion was done by LG engineer only and I have avail the AMC also. So why should i have to pay. He said, he cannot do anything and leave the place. So please let me know how my problem will get resolved. Thanks

          LG split Installation I'm Mohan and my contact number is (+91)[protected]. I was moved from Mumbai to Delhi so dismantled my Split AC by calling LG representative. It was moved thru movers and packer with proper packing. On July 6th 2014 I logged a service request for installation by called LG Customer care number [protected] . Request ID: RNA[protected] On Wednesday 9th July 14 one engineer came he opened the complete unit and told he was getting current from it so can’t install. After 3 hrs another engineer came, done physical check, made a call to his supervisor and gone away. Thursday 10th July 14, another gentleman came and said that the union has been cut by that engineer while removing the unit and complete gas refilling needs to be done. It was socking to me as de-installation was done by LG engineer only so I had a word with Rajesh [protected] but as per all of them it was not them so they are least bothered for it but will charge the amount. Friday11th July 14, same engineer came who came on Thursday and start installation and after few hrs he said the flap of the unit is broken. My concerns: · The installation & de-installation is being done by LG then why this substandard work. · Why the mechanic was unable to find the issue and not updated on damage on day 1 whether its flap damage or anything. · The flap was broken by the engineer who came on first day while opening the unit otherwise he would have raised the concern. · It seems that the cut at union was intentional so that while reinstallation they should get good money. Why nobody from LG is following up/mechanism to address it because as per them it’s not their team so least bothered about who & how it go

            Sir/Madam, please find the attachments showing my purchase of LG washing machine from Vijay Sales, Ghod Bunder Road, Thane, Maharashtra. Details - Date of Purchase : 06/07/2014 Recieved on 07/07/2014 Registered on call center : 08/07/2014 Complaint No. : RNA[protected] Daily Call to Call center - says complaint is forwarded Technician will come within 24 hrs. daily same answer. I or my wife had to wait at home if the technician comes for installation. no one came today I called up again in the morning - I was given 2 ph. nos. [protected], / 39 . The whole day I kept on trying these nos. but in vain. No one to pick up the call for no.38 & no. 39 is invalid. Again I called up the call center in the evening - I was told that your machine is not yet registered & call was cut abruptly. Ok. Could be some network problem. I called up again after half an hour - I recorded the call, I was again told to wait for 24 hrs and complaint will be forwarded. I argued and ask for some concrete solution as I was wasting my time & energy & also the financial loss. so, she gave another No. to contact [protected]. This no. I tried immediately 3 times from speaker phone so that the counsellor could hear. There was no one to pick up the phone. Finally I argued that if within next 24 hrs I don't get the machine installed by technician then I will have take the matter to Consumer Forum.               I purchased a SxS fridge on 1 Nov 2013 from MGB Electronics, Coimbatore. The fridge stopped working on 7 July 2014. Chronology of the events is given below: 7 July 2014 - Fridge stopped working 7 July 2014 - Called[protected] for service support. The support person informed that the system is not working and will call back with 2 hours. 7 July 2014 - The service desk called back at 11.10 pm and the call got disconnected. No further call was received. 8 July 2014 - Called[protected] again and raised a service request # RNA[protected]. Were informed that some would attend to it immediately. But no one attended. 8 july 2014 – Contacted the dealer MGB and he gave the contact number of Mr.Mohandas.[protected] Called Mr.Mohandas and requested for service support. 8 July 2014 – Mr.Mohandas deputed a technican by name Mr.Muthu[protected] in the evening. Mr Muthu informed that there is some block in the fridge and it has to be taken back to their end for service. It would cost around Rs.8000/- but will be covered under warranty. When will it be taken back? No answer as it would be informed to us by phone. Again, we had to wait for the service team to say when it would be picked up. No answer again. 9 July 2014 – Went online, registered the product and raised one more complaint. Copy enclosed. No actions happened from the service team. 10 July 2014 – Called the helpline[protected] again, Mr.Ganesh and asked for help. Received alternate number to call and follow up. He gave the following numbers # [protected], [protected] and [protected] of Ms. S Jayanthi. None attended on the continuous efforts made to these numbers. Finally, got a call from the local service station stating that they will pick up the fridge for service on 11 July 2014. KEEPING THE FINGERS CROSSED TILL THE PROBLEM GETS RESOLVED I have the following questions: i) Why should a customer wait for 5 days to get a service attended. That too for a product like Fridge, without which the kitchen is almost closed. ii) We went for a premium fridge(?) from a reputed company. Did we make a false choice? iii) Why should a fridge like this fail and if at all it fails, why is this lag in service. THIS IS TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING!

              Sharing herewith an update as of Sunday 12 July 2014 @ 12.30 pm
              Followed up more than 3 times on Friday 11 July 2014 and the fridge was finally taken by the service team at 3.45 pm for service, with a promise to deliver within 2 hours or the early next day(Saturday). One good thing is that the people who came to pickup ensure that there is no dents/scratches on the fridge prior to taking it for service. Since it was new no scratch/dents were observed and was recorded in LG's defective goods movement challan.

              Till Sunday afternoon, (until now), no delivery made nor information given and hence called on Saturday followed up with the service lead at Coimbatore. He confirmed to call back within 30 minutes, but did NOT call back and avoided taking my calls.


              Can someone responsible at LG give me clear information when I can expect the fridge back? This is almost a week now without a fridge at home.

                Dear Sir, We had bought a split AC from LG in Ahmedabad. The AC was working fine for two years & is now out of warranty period. Last month cooling dropped drastically, the reason identified was gas leakage. A complaint was registered & gas refilled on 14th May, 2014. After a couple of days cooling dropped again, complaint was re-registered on 30th June'2014. And then begain our ordeal. The technician turned up, identified the issue, promised to rectify it the next day & the next day has still not come. Repeated attempts at calling the customer care number[protected] or the manager @ [protected] has resulted in absolutely no response. We were proud of LGs after sales service & had recommended couple of friends their products with the same thought. Is it too much to ask for a decent response/service level ? Regards Geeta Probhu

                  I had lodged a complaint No RNA[protected] with the LG call centre for service of my washing maching on 13/6/14. After several calls to the call centre and finally to the authorised service centre and the owner of the same Viraj (ph no, the service engineer Peter appeared on 16/6/14. According to him the motor was spoilt and would need to be ordered and would take 8 days. He also said that there was a possibility of some other part being spoilt but he would bring both the parts and come in 8 days. Subsequently I received a call 10 days later that the part had come but that I was to bring the washing machine to the service centre my self for them to fix the part. I refused saying that this was not a small laptop or phone that I could bring in for service and it was their responsibility to pick up the machine, service and return it for which I would bear the necessary charges. The service person Peter then called me and said he was unwell and hence it would be better if I brought the machine in myself. When I refused, he agreed to arrange for the pick up. Two days passed with no action and when I called again on 4/7/14, Peter again told me to bring it in to the service centre. I refused saying he had agreed to pick it up. I then spoke to the CCO Juliet Colaco (ph no [protected]) who promised action and said that Peter would first come to try and resolve onsite and then if needed they would decide the next steps. I asked her why they had then waited for 3 days to think of this without sending the service engineer with the motor as soon as it had come in. Finally Peter arrived and after messing around, he declared that we would need to take the machine to the service centre ourselves. After speaking to Juliet and Viraj again. Viraj confirmed that he would arrange for the pick up. On 7/7/14 as no pick up was arranged I called Viraj again who confirmed that the machine would be picked up next day. On 8/7/14, I messaged Viraj. No response. On 10/7, I called the ASM Vasu M (phone no [protected]) and narrated the whole sorry story to him. He has spoken to the service centre and again they have promised to pick up within tomorrow. It is now almost a month since the first complaint. This then is the level of service by LG. Couple of things came up during all my calls. The service centre Unique seems to be operating with one or very few engineers who in turn keep telling the custome they are overworked, sick, dying etc etc in order to justify the delay. Second, it takes innumerable phone calls to demand what is your right. The service centre should be having a vehicle at the very least to pick up products which need servicing. The customer cannot be expected to hand deliver to them huge products like refrigerators and washing machines. I have never had issues like this with IFB and would strong advise all prospective customers to avoid LG WASHING MACHINES like the plagues. The customer is the last person on their mind and instead of LIFE BEING GOOD as they claim once you buy a LG product, LIFE BECOMES HELL!!!

                  I do agree and got the same treatment from the service call centers . The ph nos given to me turned out to be invalid .The email site given is wrong I still don't know what to do ? I also want to go to Consumer Forum but you know the problem that employer wont let you any leave. and you should have enough time to fight against such branded decoites.

                    Original complaint on this forum - 4th July 2014. Remains unresolved with no congtact from the Company. I have been complaining about the inefficient and low cooling of my window AC which has been attended by the service technician Nanhe Pande. However, inspite of repeated visits he has neither been able to solve the problem nor give a clear understanding of the issue, while we suffer in the summer heat. Each time he visits, he has a different diagnosis, which he makes without basic equipment like a temperature gauge: In one visit he claimed all was well with the Ac and serviced the AC after changing the display panel which was defective. In the second visit after repeated complains and our pushing him, he agreed that something was wrong, probably the capacitor or the fan motor since fan speed was low. He promised the return the next day with a spare capacitor and a fan motor. However, he neither returned nor called the next day. Even our calls to him went unanswered. We had to lodge another complaint with your call centre and finally he visited the third time the following day with a spare capacitor (seal broken) and no fan motor. After installing the capacitor, he realised that the issue was not resolved. He then claimed the AC needed to be sent to the workshop. Since he appeared completely unprofessional, untrained and was going by the trial and error method, he was asked to have someone senior or a supervisor speak to us for us to understand what really is wrong with the machine. However, technician Pande decided to send a truck to pick up the AC the next day, without appointment or the requested call from the Service Manager/ Supervisor. When we declined to spare the AC without a replacement AC since we have small children, the truck driver threatened to cancel the complaint and return!!! I request the following: 1. Pls do not send technician Nanhe Pandey as he is neither trained nor interested in his job or his customers' well being. 2. Pls have this issue resolved at the earliest as our family including the children are suffering in the summer heat because of your incompetent employees. Thank you, Shivani

                      I had purchased a washing machine on 10.09.2013, model no. T70CPD22P, fully automatic top loaded, which says it is just 10 months and also in guarantee. Since the day we have purchased we are facing a problem. At the time of rinse and spin the machine shakes in such a high speed and makes lot of noise that it has also fallen down from a shelf. We have also made so many complaints about it but still there is no resolution. Above all this nonsense system of LG that the customer care executive call us after registering a complaint and ask us to go to the machine and check the problems. Are v here to resolve the technical problem ourselves? What the hell are you customer care and technicians sitting over there for?? Now I don't want any other solution . I want to return this product of yours I don't want to use it anymore. This is a fake product sold to us. I would also suggest everyone not to buy LG products as this is the 3rd grade quality they provide.

                          I had purchased LG LED 42" TV on 6/07/2013 ( Invoice No.283) from M/S AZTEC DIGITALS PVT.LTD., Udupi, Karnataka State .On 6th July 2014 I found some defect in the TV.That is some lines coming in the screen.As 6 July 2014 is Sunday and I was busy in my work I have given compalint to the dealer M/S AZTEC DIGITALS PVT.LTD., Udupi, Karnataka State on 7th July 2014 morning.Complaint No. is RNA[protected].As I have given complaint on 7th morning itself it is clear that the defect in the TV I have found naturally before 7th July 2014.But the dealer said that As on 6th July 2014 1 year completed we company will charge for the service as well as for any parts of the TV which is found defective.But it is not correct.A TV costing Rs.52, 000/- found defetvie at the exact day of 1 year completes means it is not my fault.Therefore my kind request is as LG is very famous for their service and quality please send your ingineer and repair the defects with free of cost.While writing this my complaint letter time is 8.00PM and not engineer has visited my house or called about my complaint.

                            I have complained to the call center for refrigerator not cooling last night . I had requested for the visit to be done early in the morning since in this weather it is impossible to hold on to eatables and perishables.

                            Just now a service chap has visited and declared that the compressor needs to be changed . It would cost me Rs 7000 / . Since now I have no choice but to spend Rs 7000 / I asked him to change it right away .

                            He has not committed any date and has only mentioned that he needs to confirm from his office / warehouse on the availability of the new compressor .

                            I need this compressor changed for this substandard unit manufactured by LG . This unit stopped cooling on the 10th day of the purchase and a visit by some engineer was required to rectify the problem .This was in Jan 2009 .

                            In case I don’t get assurance of this replacement bytomorrow 11 AM, I would be forced to go to social media .

                              Earlier, the quality of people in staffing, was better, they talk like an educated people, , but, now when the representative talks, it seems, they are outsourced, wherein they don't know, anything, about anything, in LG, , neither regarding the products, nor the about the departments of LG, it looks like, that either they have hired 4th, 5th 6th, Fail, direct 10th pass karey, wala staff, so that they can cut their oost, They don't have any answer when asked about, the product details., It is not just about representatives, in customer service but even the managers,
                              I simply had asked one Simple Question, When they Tag, there A/c, Fridge, with BIS Star Rating, they mention, for e., g, , it consumers, 453 unit /year on their product, with 3 star rating. So what are the factors, included to reach such a calculations
                              How many Hours have been taken, of a day for calculations, that the product is consuming electricity, of 24 hours ?
                              I mean have they Calculated this
                              as 24 hours *365days * xKW = 453 units a year, ?
                              or is it 7 hours * 365 days * xKW = 453 units a year ? Something like that,
                              What is the standard, to reach such a calculation ?

                                I have a Split AC, it runs into trouble, I log complaint with LG Service center (RNA[protected]...they promise someone will call in 2 hours and visit within 24 hours, no one calls, no one visits...when I complain again...I am directed to Service center, someone finally visits and all he does is cleans the AC and tells me Gas is less and needs to be refilled...when I ask him to do it...he says you have to call on Service center...it is 7 days the AC is still not working and when I call Service center to check, they happily confirm my complaint is closed...fail to understand how a complaint is closed without resolution... 2 Service center numbers and Service center COO Sajid Syed never pick up phone calls ([protected] & [protected]) Not sure if LG was waiting for my AC to go out of warranty and that charges can be imposed. Haven't had such a bad experience with any other Vendors.

                                  Hi, Though i had high regards for LG, past few days your customer service representatives made me change my mind. This is the regarding the complaint# RNA[protected], i have lot of concerns from the day i tried to reach customer service as my 1 year 3 month old AC stopped working 1. Bad quality of customer calls, i would have tried at least 10 times in last 8 days to [protected], either there will be lot of background noise (or) poor quality of signal that the representative voice breaks frequently.No difference if i try from my mobile or from my friends mobile or from a land line number, its all same. If you want to cross check please check the recorded call for the above mentioned complaint number. You can also reach me on the registered mobile number. 2. When i registered my complaint on 28th Jun morning, i was told that i will receive a call from service representative in 24 hrs.. But i got a call on Tuesday that too in spite of me trying multiple times on Sunday and Monday. When i called 1800 on sunday evening, iwas told that i should have received a call by now and but i didnt. Absolutely no ownership any where. 3. No flexibility - Finally a person called me on Tuesday but he told that he will be available till 4 PM only and morning he can make it only after 11. so 11-4 is what i have, which means i need to take one day leave to get my AC fixed. 4. Since weekdays didnt work, i registered another complaint on friday July 4 hoping atleast it gets addressed on saturday, the service representative came and is now telling that some capacitor is gone and he has to raise a request to spare parts section and usually it will take 2 days to get the spare parts and only after that he will be able to fix it. So net-net its been 8 days and still AC is not fixed and no ETA. Life's not good with this attitude to customers like me. Please take this as feedback, lot has to change if you want to retain customers, clearly this could be my last LG product and also for my friends who are following me. I should also say this - my in-laws are having another leading brand AC and they have a far more better service that LG. AC fixed in 3 days time, eventhough they didnt say that it will be fixed in 24 hrs.

                                    hi, it has been 1 year 3month of buying LG Split AC. my ac is facing problem of gas leaked. i am really upset with build quality of LG AC, buying 35K AC thinking that atleast it will run for 3 -5 years, now i need to pay for repair charges. my view dont buy LG SPLIT AC as there build quality is poor.

                                      Sir/ Madam This is regarding the services of my LG WASHING MACHINE. I had contacted LG customer care ([protected]) on 26-June-2014 and asked for my washing machine to be serviced. Job No .RNA[protected] Mechanics from LG customer care (Address : LGEIL Hyderabad Direct Service, LGEIL, K/1/1, IDA, Uppal, Hyderabad) came to my house on 27-June-14, I explained him about the problem(i.e when i switch on the machine it works for few minutes then suddenly sparkles come from back of the machine and my house FUSE blows off) .He checked the machine for 2-5 minutes and said everything is fine there is no problem and he went off, when i switched on the machine again i faced same problem.I called to his supervisor, so he has send the mechanic again now he started saying there is voltage problem in your house and again he went off.several times i have powered on the machine i used to face the same problem, this problem comes suddenly, some times it runs fine and some times it power off suddenly. I finally managed to see what is happening at back of washing machine i saw one wire got burnt and i was getting burning smell and sparkles.Now i called the Mechanic([protected]) he is not at all listening to my words and speaking rudely, he is talking as if i am working under him. It’s a total harassment of a loyal customer and a complete fraud. Kindly suggest the action I can take. Should I go to consumer forum or lodge a police complaint? these are my complaint numbers.
