Dear Mr. CEO,
Refer all the chain of complaints made since 10/11/21 till date, finally Mr. Murali visited my home today with Training Head Mr. Irfan and Engineer Umapathe.
They changed the 4 way solenoid water valve (picture attached), which as per Mr. Murali had to be changed since it was the one allowing non stop water flow and over flow of water in my machine rendering the machine lying like a dummy piece for close to 40 days.
After changing the valve they did a wash and dry option on around 1.5kg clothes for a 30 minute wash and 01 hour drying cycle in Cupboard Dry mode (which as per them should give close to 95% and above drying).

As expected the problems faced by us from Day-1 o[censored]sing this product of incomplete drying persisted.
All the 03 of LG reps present at my home acknowledged the fact that even after using the Cupboard dry mode the clothes were still moist and needed air drying to be completely dry and can’t be put into the cupboard as it is as claimed by LG.
Quantity of lints left behind were comparatively less since it was only 1.5 kgs of clothes that was used for demo compared to its claimed capacity of 10.5/7kg. Our experience has been that the more clothes we use the more lints are left behind thereby spoiling my expensive clothes.
The comfort liquid in the tray as usual did not get used during the entire cycle and was left behind as always and Mr. Irfan had to drain it off from the tray. (picture attached)
Mr. Murali and Mr. Irfan acknowledged the facts as I have mentioned above which was practically seen and said that they would be filing their reports, pictures and feedback to the concern.
So the end result was that my 40 day wait for the water leakage to stop was attended to thus preventing further wastage of precious softened water but the actual problem of non usage of comfort liquid, absolutely improper drying and left behind lints still continues as it was from Day-1!!!
Thus the conclusion form my end is that the 66k product still does job of only a 20k washing machine and is useless when it comes to the drying function for which I paid 46k extra.

I have already briefed your team here that in this cold, humid and moist Bangalore winter the unit is practically useless to me as the damp weather won’t dry my clothes before 2-3 days and the entire point of having invested in this machine is useless, hence I continue to pay for laundry charges even as I write to you!!!
So please initiate return of this useless piece ASAP and refund me the entire MRP of 66000 and compensate me for the trauma of daily follow ups for 40 days in addition to all the laundry bills spent thus far so that I can go ahead and buy another machine.
Waiting for your team to respond in a conclusive manner and advice me on the pick up date for this machine return.

Updated by [email protected] My laundry bills till date wef 09/11/21, the day washing machine started leaking and I had to stop using it is shared herewith.
And even now I am using laundry services, after the valve replacement yesterday, the heating function is not working as mentioned in my comment last night and as result can’t wash clothes as I have to hang dry them in this damp cold climate.
So my demand is return of product, refund of the entire cost of ₹66000, compensation of all the laundry bills due delay (38 days) in attending to my unit and compensation for the mental trauma and trouble which is incomparable.

Updated by [email protected] The clothes washed and dried for 1:30 hours yesterday by LG team in CUPBOARD DRY MODE is still getting air dried at my home due to inefficient drying and damp weather.

Updated by [email protected] After submitting update on my latest torture details with the LG WM cum Drier, mailed the same details to their CEO office immediately and their response was to contact Area Service Manager Mr. Kishore. I mean what audacity!!! Instead of calling the customer asking customer to follow up on close to a year long issue!!!
Anyhow the poor customer thst I am, called the person concerned and explained to him that only the valve had been replaced but open issues like inefficient drying and non consumption of detergent and comfort still persists, he says he will talk his colleague Mr. Murali and Mr. Irfan who visited our house and personally witnessed above issues after replacing the valve. Doesn’t bother to call back till 6 pm. Sees his Wtsapp for my messages, doesn’t bother to reply.
I give a call at 6 pm and says would revert….this is the service LG is providing and worst is CEO office is recommending painstaking customers to call these bunch of liars and careless people to follow up on long pending demand of refunding the amount for the machine rather than taking initiative to call customer and sort things!!!

Updated by [email protected] My NCH complaint#3087170 was forcibly closed and now my new complaint#3213849 raised 02 days back again closed quoting previous complaint resolution as the reason….whereas both issues are same and are still open which LG doesn’t acknowledge.
I have just posted comments on their insta feed promoting their washing machine dryer as part of Lohri.

Inspite of sharing the pictures and vdo in this forum, NCH site, Instagram and to their CEO office…they don’t bother to call.
When I get hold of their so called designated person Mr. Kishore, he acts innocent and unknown to any of my problems. Then he puts his technical head Irfan who visited my house and found problems of inefficient drying and non consumption of detergent and comfort from the soap tray starts lying over call and acts innocent and says when he checked Al less working fine hence Complaint closed.
I insisted to send go mahina and this time I will record all the proceedings….they don’t respond and doesn’t send anybody on 13, 14, 15 Jan.
My family and me have left Bangalore for atleast 3 months and this can’t be Avial le to attend to them to come at their own sweet time.
Hence this issue is open and my problems persists. Once we are back to Bangalore we will pursue it again because as a high paying consumer I feel completely let down by a renowned brand who is playing dirty business and mind games thinking that by these kind of arm twisting the consumer will get fed up and give up….which I will not!!!
This complaint is not to be closed till sorted!
